Theresa is Magical!

Theresa is honestly MAGICAL! I originally saw Theresa’s makeup photos on The Knot and fell in love with her work. I unfortunately had an extremely small bridal party at the time and did not meet her minimum to travel to our venue. After a makeup trial with another person left me feeling a little hopeless, I contacted Theresa and she was extremely accommodating. I immediately went for a trial with her and WOW! I was certainly the most stunning version of myself! Theresa is able to take your makeup ideas and execute them in a way that is both transformative while still being you, which is the ideal. She even provided tips to use in my daily makeup along the way (which I really appreciated!). Her makeup stayed on all day- and I was on the dance floor for hours. It never felt cakey or itchy. I honestly never even noticed it on. Our photos are stunning and my makeup looks flawless in all of them. On top of it, Theresa is a sweetheart and is such a great addition to your bridal party suite. She made all business aspects extremely easy and all of the booking/payment pieces were professional and straightforward. Thank you Theresa for making my makeup dreams come true!

Easy, Enjoyable, Gorgeous

Theresa did a wonderful job with makeup for my wedding. She make sure to take all the safety precautions needed and I felt very safe working with her. She is easy to contact and is very organized. Of course, her wonderful personality helped set the stage for a great day! My makeup was so good and I felt confident the whole day! Definitely recommend!!

Face looked flawless

Theresa is amazing at what she does. I rarely if ever wear make up. I definitely prefer a more natural look. Theresa does such a great job at balancing that natural look while still making it “pop” in the wedding photos. On top of that, I of course broke out with a huge pimple a week before the wedding. Thanks to Theresa you had NO idea it was there. Seriously, she’s a miracle worker!!! Thanks to her my face looked flawless. She also did the whole bridal party’s make up. She killed it with that. Everyone’s make up was on point and all of the girls were so happy with how their make up turned out. Highly recommend Theresa!! Could never say that enough!

Flawless makeup

Theresa did make up for me and 4 bridesmaids and man did she knock it out of the park! She was rather quick (30 minutes per girl) but paid attention to detail and really brought each girl's vision to life. We all used airbrush foundation and even at 11pm after crying, sweating, dancing we all still looked fresh and flawless. She is incredibly affordable and so flexible when it comes to set up timelines and where to be!

Amazing!!!

Theresa was absolutely wonderful. She is professional, prompt, and above all else SO TALENTED. Theresa did the make-up for me, 10 bridesmaids, and both my mother and my mother-in-law in what was to me, record time. After we were all finished, she again touched everyone up before heading out. Beyond all this, she's just a great presence. She was funny, great to talk to, and even offered to get us coffee the morning of. I would HIGHLY recommend.

Talented and Flexible!

Theresa was awesome - she was upfront with me about her schedule, knowing that I was from out of town. She was incredibly professional and thoughtful and clearly cared a lot about her work. The others in my party that worked with her thought the same thing the day-of and everyone really enjoyed her work. Would definitely recommend!

Theresa did my makeup when I was a bridesmaid in a wedding recently and let me tell you, she KILLED it! She has such an incredible working knowledge of her craft and uses both traditional and cutting-edge techniques and products that left me stunned and looking stunning. The bridal party consisted of women with varying comfort levels with makeup, which Theresa graciously took into consideration. She left those who wanted a natural look looking like the best version of themselves while those of us who enjoy more of a glam look walked away from her seat looking like movie stars. Her ability to assess her clients' needs and work on a schedule makes her the best in the business. I would highly, highly recommend this gem of a woman to anyone!

Theresa is truly an artist when it comes to makeup. She did an incredible job for our wedding. She had to put makeup on 8 bridesmaids, a mom, and me the bride and did it all in a timely manner, which was extremely important to me. Everyone looked flawless and no one had to worry about their makeup coming off the entire day. She's quick to respond to your messages and guides you in the best direction so you look beautiful on your special day.

Theresa did the makeup for my daughter’s wedding. She is organized, efficient and skilled in her kraft. It was important to my daughter to not only look beautiful, which she is, but the makeup to be natural/glowing look. I wish I could include a picture, she was beyond beautiful. Theresa not only did my daughter, but me as well and 8 bridesmaids. She worked according to the schedule my daughter had supplied and was actually finished ahead of schedule. I paid for all of the makeup applications and felt it was more than reasonable in price. Theresa is one of the vendors that day I felt went above and beyond in effort and made everyone beautiful and relaxed.

Coming from a very hesitant bride who never wears makeup, I can truly say Theresa blew me away. She completely understood my vision of how I wanted to look my wedding day and I’ve never felt more beautiful. She’s so kind and easy to have a good time with which made my wedding day all the better! Book her and you will not regret it, you cannot find the amazing work she does at that price anywhere!!

Theresa was absolutely amazing on the day of my wedding. I originally had a makeup trial with her over the summer and overall liked the look, but had a few minor edits and details that I wanted changed for the big day. She was so responsive, took notes and photos to document what I was thinking and made sure I had no doubts about the outcome for my wedding day. Not only was I thrilled with my makeup, but my picky group of bridesmaids all loved their looks as well. Everyone looked gorgeous and so natural :) PLUS she is fun and personable to have around on the day of, felt just like another one of the girls.

I have known Theresa for over 10 years now and she has always been friendly, personable and exuberant! When I found out she had started as a makeup artist, she was the obvious choice for my wedding. Theresa was extremely organized, booked my trial in advanced and made sure that I was 100% satisfied with my trial. She was flexible with changes along the planning process and answered my questions almost immediately. On the day-of, Theresa came prepared and did an awesome job with makeup for my bridesmaids, my mom and me! I loved how my makeup turned out and it lasted well beyond the reception. From start to finish, her service was superb! I would highly recommend Theresa for your wedding or special event. She caters to your preferences, whether you want a natural or evening look and everything in between. Theresa is organized, professional, and her personality shines!

Theresa was absolutely wonderful. She was very professional but also friendly and fun. I'm not someone who typically wears a lot of makeup other than mascara, so I was a little apprehensive, but I absolutely LOVED my makeup on my wedding day. Theresa is so good at what she does. I felt beautiful and my makeup stayed all day/night long. It felt really light on my face too. No smudging, no worrying about it all and she really listened to what I wanted during my trial. You could also tell she was genuinely excited to be a part of our day and I really appreciated that. I would definitely recommend Theresa to any bride or anyone who is going to a special event. My entire experience from my trial to my wedding day was excellent. Thank you so much, Theresa! :)

Theresa does an amazing job. She is very flexible to your needs & she is fun to work with. We had a great time with her on my wedding day and all of us looked beautiful!! I was very pleased with her service. If I ever need my makeup done again she's the one I will be calling.

Theresa was fabulous! She was responsive and flexible prior to the wedding. She arrived on time at the hotel to do the makeup for myself, my mother and six bridesmaids. She was speedy and professional the entire time. She was done a head of schedule but still made everyone look flawless. My hairdresser even asked for her information to reccomend her to other brides because of her professionalism! I would absolutely reccomend Theresa to everyone looking for professional makeup. My favorite thing about her is how personable she is and how she was able to talk to you like a friend and made everyone feel special! Thank you Theresa!

Theresa did makeup for my wedding. -She did my teenaged daughter's makeup as well. She was prompt, professional and pleasant. Her demeanor made us feel comfortable and very confident that she was going to make us look our absolute best. As someone who rarely wears makeup, I was extremely happy that it didn't feel heavy and greasy, nor did we have to worry about smudges or touch-ups. Instead of looking totally unlike my "normal" self, I looked fresh and natural. Also, Theresa did an incredible job of keeping my daughter looking age appropriate. I would recommend her to anyone and hire her again without hesitation!

I highly recommend Theresa Walker! She did my makeup for my wedding day, and it looked flawless! I got married on a very hot and humid day in July, but my makeup lasted for the entire reception without any touchups. She listened to what I wanted during the trial and wrote down specific notes so that my makeup was exactly how I wanted it to look on the day of my wedding.

So far I've only had my trial for my wedding and I could not be more pleased with Theresa! Everyone I have shown the before and after picks too is in love and she worked with me to make a more dramatic look than the average bridal request. I can not wait for the big day. If I could hire Theresa for my everyday looks I would!

Theresa did my makeup for a friends wedding a couple of years ago. She did an awesome job!! I looked natural with POP. She also did my young daughter, who was 10 at the time. She looked very age appropriate. So when it cam to deciding who would do my makeup for my wedding.....well there was no questions about it. Theresa will be doing mine, my bridesmaids and my moms makeup for my wedding in May of 2018! Scheduling with her has been easy and she is very quick to respond to any questions I may have.

I can't say enough about Theresa Walker. I even joked with her and told her she needs to change her name to Bridal SWAT team. She is more than a make up artist (an AMAZING one), she was a therapist on the morning of, she was a comedian when we all needed a laugh and she was a supporter. Theresa did make up for all of my bridesmaids as well as the mother of the bride, the mother of the groom, and the aunt of the bride. ALL of us have VERY different faces, complexions, and styles, and yet Theresa made each and every one of us beyond happy with our make up. Theresa plays up your own natural beauty and understands the importance of wanting to feel and look yourself on the big day, and yet have a little "something something" to spice things up. ;) Theresa started our makeup at 9am and didn't stop make up until 1:30pm (like I said we had a lot of faces hehe), but even though she was on the job for so long she still made the last bridesmaid feel just as special as the first one. I still can't believe I was lucky enough to have Theresa do my make up as well as my bridal party's makeup. Everyone from my now husband to all of our guests at our wedding continued to comment on how stunning everyone looked. Theresa is A GEM. If you are picky about who does your makeup, or have never had your makeup done before Theresa is your girl!!! I can not recommend her enough!!!

Theresa did my makeup for a headshot session. She worked with me so I felt completely comfortable before and during the shoot, and my cheekbones have never looked so good. I wish I could take her to all my auditions too!

Theresa is an absolute gem! I was struggling to choose a make-up artist for my wedding day but after meeting with Theresa the choice was easy! She is incredibly flexible and experienced but also so fun to be around. She happily made (even the smallest) changes until I was completely in love with my wedding look. If it was possible to rate her higher, I would in every category!

I can't wait for Theresa to work her make-up magic on me and my girls on my wedding day!

She was punctual, professional, friendly, thorough, and precise with her work- all while creating a fun and relaxed environment. She also made sure I was happy with the final product. She was great! Also is very understanding with small children and infants . I am a nursing mother and she was able to work with me while I was nursing my son, and also holding my nephew ! She also was very understanding of my 3 year old niece who was nosey lol :)

Theresa Walker did my makeup for a special event during a time when I had cystic acne, crater scars, and an uneven skin tone. I was extremely reluctant to have my makeup done, because lets be honest, I was not working with a clean slate. Nevertheless, I had heard good things from a friend and decided to give it a try. I was BLOWN AWAY BY THE GIRL STARING BACK IN THE MIRROR. Please excuse my caps, but Theresa and her airbrush makeup skill worked a miracle!! I had an even skin tone AND my face was contoured for the Gods. When you have bad skin, you just want to be able to cover up your skin to look as close to "normal" as possible. Usually, trying to define your features only brings out your problem areas. Not with Theresa. My features were defined, my problem areas were hidden, and my face NEVER looked better!!

Obviously the acne thing is very important to me, but this artist is also undeniably professional, fun to work with, and she listened to what I wanted. I would recommend Theresa to anybody! She is a true talent and collaborator!

Book her! I never felt so beautiful until after Theresa did my makeup. She did a fabulous job and I got SO many compliments on it. Theresa was professional and very friendly the entire time. she allowed us to take photos of us getting ready and did my makeup exactly how i wanted it.

Theresa was absolutely wonderful to work with for our wedding. She was professional, organized, available and quick to respond to questions. Her work is superb! I was nervous about looking too "made up" as I typically don't wear much makeup, but Theresa did a flawless job to make me feel natural and beautiful. Her makeup lasted and looked stunning all day, even in 90 degree outdoor reception heat! Theresa's personality was exactly what I needed the morning of my wedding; she was calming, patient, funny and made everyone feel at ease. Looking back at our wedding pictures and thinking about how I felt on our day, I am so glad I made the decision to work with her. I have nothing but great things to say about Theresa and her talent and I wholeheartedly recommend her to any bride-to-be!

Theresa was great, she was friendly and extremely easy to work with throughout the entire process! Everyone looked great on the day of the wedding and she even recommended a fantastic hairdresser for us. I highly recommend Theresa, she really knows what she's doing.

Theresa was great to have as a makeup artist for my wedding. She did a great job for myself and my two bridesmaids. She can do lighter and darker skin tones very well. One of my bridesmaids has a very dark skin tone and her makeup was beautiful. I had gotten compliments on my makeup all day. You will not regret hiring her as a makeup artist.

Theresa did an amazing job for my wedding! She was fantastic throughout every step of the process. She did the makeup for six of my bridesmaids, myself, and my mother-in-law. Theresa even worked with an interpreter since my mother-in-law doesn't speak English, showing a great deal of cultural competency and grace. She was very open to our input and feedback, and made sure a very diverse group of women felt beautiful that day. Theresa is extremely professional, personable, and calm despite the chaos and stress that may ensue. I cannot emphasize enough what a difference that made for both myself and my loved ones! The makeup itself lasted flawlessly the entire day, no touch ups necessarily despite some heavy dancing and sweating in the sun for pictures, and I received so many complements. I wouldn't hesitate to book Theresa again at even double the cost!!! Thank you!

Theresa is a great make-up artist. She does amazing work and is very speedy. I got married on the hottest day of the year outside and my make-up stayed all day and night. Everyone complimented me on my make-up and how surprised they were that it stayed on.

Theresa was such a gem to work with on my wedding day! She has such a cool, calm and collected attitude and that is always needed on such an important day. She made quite a drive to my hotel the morning of and was on time and ready to go. She was even flexible enough to make some last minute changes to my list of people who needed make up styling. The make up looked gorgeous on everyone and she knew exactly what was needed for the weather and outdoor lighting and what would look great in the photos. Theresa was wonderful to work with on my wedding day. She kept me calm, cool and collected not to mention classically beautiful on the best day of my life. I am someone who does not love to wear a ton of make up and my husband has always said he prefers me with no make up at all. I was worried about looking too fake and "Cakey" for lack of a better term but knew I still wanted to look like I had done a little extra. I was my wedding day after all! Theresa listened to my style and kept true to her word to keep my make up simple yet with a little bit of drama. Most importantly, when I looked in the mirror after Theresa was done I still felt like myself. I would/still recommend her time and time again for weddings. She was wonderful!

Theresa is incredibly professional and the end result of her hard work...AMAZING!! I felt beautiful, and the makeup lasted throughout the entire ceremony and reception. I have been a part of two wedding parties now that featured the work of Theresa Walker, and I was extremely pleased both times! She is very time efficient, and she works with a steady and gentle hand (which is perfect for anyone who isn't accustomed to having their makeup done on a regular basis.) Her products are top of the line. I have very sensitive skin and tend to have issues when I try new things on my face. I had ZERO problems with Theresa's products! Theresa is a unicorn among a sea of horses as far as makeup artists go. She is SO SKILLED and has incredible artistry. She did my makeup for a headshot shoot and I looked amazing, natural, but still glam. She is also so on point with her techniques and research, you know you will always be getting the latest tools, products, and techniques. Because she loves doing this!! She's also very chill and funny- a great vibe to have around pre shoot or pre wedding. Her rates are stellar. Truly a win. Hire her.

From start to finish, my experience working with Theresa was flawless (including everyone of our faces!). Theresa met us at the salon where my bridal party was getting their hair done and she took time with each of the girls to make sure they looked perfect. Everyone looked like a supermodel, but so natural that it matched our elegant, fall wedding perfectly. I woke up with a few pimples on the morning of the wedding and Theresa's incredible job made me forget all about them. She listened to all my concerns prior to the wedding about sweating/crying, etc. and I can definitely say that the make-up never moved. Her prices are extremely fair for the job she does - highly recommend her!!!

I was so happy to find out Theresa was available on the day of my wedding reception. She was friendly and informative over the phone and made scheduling a trial very easy. During the trial, she took the time to personalize my makeup to suit me and match the look I wanted. She worked calmly and efficiently on the day of the reception. My bridesmaids and I were thrilled with the result! I was concerned about a red splotch on my face from drinking champagne, but Theresa reassured me she would have no trouble covering it up. She was right! You would never be able to tell I'd been drinking wine... at least not by just looking at my face! The makeup felt light and looked natural.. exactly how I wanted it. Theresa was even able to do my MIL makeup at the last minute. She's incredibly flexible, easy to work with and great at her job! I received many compliments at the reception about my makeup and the fact that it lasted flawlessly throughout the whole night... even with the non-stop dancing and sweating(/glistening?)! I would definitely recommend Theresa!

Theresa was very friendly and helpful. I would recommend her, but definitely come with an idea of what you want. My only critique is that I don't remember darkening my eyebrows in the trial but she did for my wedding day, and in the hubbub I didn't realize until later when I saw the pictures. Also, the waterproofing did not hold up very well. Other than that, I was pleased with the result and would recommend her to anyone looking for a relatively inexpensive airbrush stylist.

Honestly I didn't love working with Theresa. I traveled from Texas for my wedding and didn't get to do a makeup trial and Theresa was inflexible about what I wanted to change on the day of the wedding due to time. I wish she had expected that I might want to alter some of her work given that we didn't get to do a trial. My eyelashes were very clumpy and I asked if she would fix it and she said I could try to fix it myself and gave me a brush. I was the bride, I shouldn't have to fix my own makeup - that's why I am paying someone. My eyebrows were also too defined and I looked like a doll, but she helped me to fix that - luckily. She also kept pushing me to use fake eyelashes even though I told her 3 times I did not want them. When your customer tells you "no" as forcefully as I did, you should listen to their wishes. The makeup was the most stressful part of the day because I didn't like it and she didn't want to change it for me. I am not a bridezilla, I just wanted to look pretty on my wedding day and was hoping that Theresa would be more helpful.

Not a good experience

We did not have the best experience. If you are a bride who wants someone to listen to what you want on your day, even if it doesn't go along with what the artist thinks you should have, this is not the vendor for you. Missing qualities on this day were empathy, flexibility, and patience. A vendor can believe they are an expert at what they do - but if they dont listen and adjust based on feedback, they are not an expert. It was the worst part of the wedding for our bride.
