The Winery at Bull Run was the perfect choice for our wedding! Not only was the backdrop absolutely stunning (and the wine was a plus too) but Jamie and Caroline were the best team we could’ve asked for. Our Beautiful Fall Wedding
A year prior to our wedding, we visited The Winery at Bull Run just to stop in and try their wine. We immediately both thought that it would be the perfect place for a wedding. From the outside landscaping to the beautiful rustic wood buildings and wine barrels. Above all, the spot has civil war history and many artifacts on display. A year later dream came true and we had our wedding outside at the ruins and reception in the barrel room. The staff there is very friendly and know what they are doing. They eased the process greatly. They were prompt to answer any questions and made us feel at ease that everything is taken care of. I would highly recommend this place to anyone!

The outdoor ceremony was seamless, with a breathtaking backdrop, and the reception in the Barrel Room was absolutely stunning. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about the venue’s beauty and the delicious wines.

Our Fall Wedding
We had a fantastic fall wedding at the Winery at Bull Run! Laura was our coordinator who did a terrific job setting everything up for us! Our guests gave a plethora of compliments about how beautiful the winery is, how good the wines, cider, and specialty drinks tasted, and the overall wedding from ceremony to reception. We had a wonderful experience, and couldn’t have asked for a better place for our wedding!

Fabulous wedding venue -- even during the heat!
The Winery at Bull Run is a fabulous wedding venue! We got married there on a 102 degree day in June this year and the staff helped us change our plans from outside to inside seamlessly. Also, their AC is incredible. Everything about the event was well-organized and I, the bride, did not feel stressed about anything on the day of our event.
We had 120 people at our wedding, which was the perfect size for the Production Barn. The staff said that you can have up to 150 people in there, but I think that would be way too crowded.

Perfect Romantic, Rustic Venue with Fantastic Staff!
The Winery at Bull Run was the perfect venue for us! It is romantic, rustic, and absolutely beautiful. And I cannot say enough good things about the amazing staff! Last minute, we had to change the location of our ceremony due to Tropical Storm Ophelia and Faith and Courtney were so wonderful in communicating changes with us and working with us to ensure we were happy. Everything went off without a hitch and we had the best day!

Beautiful venue for summer wedding
Highly recommend the Winery at Bull Run! The event staff was outstanding from the very beginning, communicating and answering all my detailed questions. On the day of the event Faith and Rebecca were fantastic, our wedding was rudely interrupted by a rain storm, but they were able to keep our guests calm and dry. They reacted quickly and professionally. Can’t thank them enough for keeping everything on track and smooth sailing. Our guests are still talking about how beautiful the venue is, and we’re all going back for enjoy more wine!

Brunch wedding for the ages!
I am so glad I stumbled upon the Winery at Bull Run's wedding offerings because I had never heard of a brunch wedding, but that was the perfect option for us!
Courtney and team were so helpful and responsive - providing great information and guidance along the way. They really helped enable my vision for the day. We loved having an outdoor ceremony followed by the reception and cocktail time in the Production Barn.
It was such a scenic spot for our wedding, couldn't have picked a better venue.

This was the greatest choice we could have made!
First of all, the Winery at Bull Run has a TON of character. The staff was friendly and on our first meeting when we were going through the pricing, we realized this place is the most reasonable among those we interviewed. Working with the entire staff was a blast. Everyone was really nice and polite and multiple of our guests commented that the staff was incredibly polite. The place is gorgeous and that means you do not need a lot of decorations. Our day of coordinator Nichole went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. She went as far as to bring me more comfortable shoes from the bridal suite after the reception. TWABR was a great choice!

We loved working with Paria and her team. They made the planning process easy, answered our questions quickly and were very flexible. The day of the wedding, we didn’t have to worry about a thing! Rehearsal Dinner
TWABR staff were an absolute joy to work with while planning our COVID friendly rehearsal dinner. Paria, our Day of Coordinator, answered all my questions, offered suggestions for the layout of The Barrel room and adjoining patio area, as well as coordinating with the caterer and bartenders. She set up the decorations as planned, everything was ready when we arrived. She was available during the event to assist with last minute adjustments, the weather was absolutely gorgeous, most of the attendees stayed outside on the patio. Everyone attending commented on how beautiful the winery was and how much fun they had. We would recommend TWABR to anyone for any occasion.

Beautiful wedding!
We can not thank The Bull Run Winery enough for making our wedding (during COVID mind you) beautiful, safe, intimate...absolutely perfect! Paria, our day of coordinator, was simply a joy to work with. She even found chocolates for my 3 yo niece (flower girl) who was having a rough time before the ceremony. She truly cared that our day was perfect. The decorations and staff were top notch...not that Bull Run Winery needs any help...the views are breathtaking!! We even had our rehearsal dinner there at the General’s Quarters. Unfortunately it began to pour just as we were starting to eat and the whole staff helped relocate us to a different area with an overhang so we wouldn’t get drenched. It was an all hands on deck moment lol. If you want a great day where you will worry about nothing but marrying your best friend...this is your place!

Beautiful venue, amazing staff!
We had to find a new wedding reception venue at the last minute, due to COVID and our other venue not working out with what we wanted. The Winery at Bull Run stepped up, and they were incredible helpful and flexible the entire way through. Amanda, Paria and the other staff were so easy to work with and so nice! We ended up having a dinner and reception that was more beautiful than we ever could have imagined! The views were amazing for our wedding pictures. The Barrel Room was great because it's already beautiful and rustic, we really didn't need any decorations. Almost all of our other vendors had worked with Bull Run many times before, so coordinating everything with our DJ, photographer, and caterers was super easy. We truly feel that Bull Run was a saving grace on our wedding day, and everything was absolutely perfect. From the planning all the way up through the entire night, we felt like the staff was doing everything in their power to make it the best night of our lives, and they did! I mean, the views...the wine... we couldn't have asked for a better place! I would recommend this venue to anyone!

Best decision ever!
Choosing TWaBR turned out better than I could have ever imagined! The events team was highly responsive during the entire planning process and were invaluable when it came to keeping the wedding day on track. The venue is stunning and the wine is amazing! All of our guests could not stop talking about how beautiful this venue was. The winery was also immensely flexible. We moved our event time up by half an hour about a couple weeks before the wedding so that we could catch the sunset for our vow and TWABR still got everything to go off without a hitch! I honestly cannot say enough positive things!! Book this venue!

Look no further, book this venue now.
This venue was incredible. They were responsive, honest, and made me feel like my wedding was the most important wedding they've done there. We chose to get married on the Hillwood Ruins, however, unfortunately the weather refused to cooperate and a thunderstorm blew threw approximately 30 minutes before our ceremony, forcing us to move everything indoors. As the bride, I had a million things running through my head (why did this have to happen now? There isn't time to inform the guests that it's been moved. Everyone will be confused! What will the indoor option look like? How could they possibly set everything up in time? etc etc etc). But Bull Run staff were able to flip the entire outdoor ceremony into an indoor ceremony in a matter of minutes, and not one guest had any question about where to go or what to do. We had over 100 people at our wedding, and EVERY. SINGLE. GUEST. was not only impressed with the venue itself, but also with the quick thinking staff, and their professionalism. The ceremony was held in the Barrel Room of the winery and was ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL. Looking back, it was much more intimate setting and our guests heard every word of the ceremony, which made it so much more meaningful. We are still receiving messages from our guests about how beautiful the venue was, and how they loved every minute of it. A few are even planning trips back to the DC area just to visit the winery again! I can't recommend this venue enough.

Gorgeous Venue and Professional Staff
The Winery at Bull Run was the perfect venue for our wedding! Amanda and her team are experts at coordinating weddings; the entire day flowed seamlessly. I was very grateful they took care of all of the “Day Of” details, from coordinating with our vendors, to setting up the ceremony and reception area. I didn’t have to worry about a thing, and could just enjoy the day. They did reschedule our 60-day walk-through last minute, but they were very apologetic and accommodating regarding rescheduling, which we greatly appreciated. We could not have been happier with the venue and event staff at TWABR!

Beautiful Venue
The Winery at Bull Run is a gorgeous venue in the NOVA area. With options for indoor or outdoor ceremonies, you can definitely find what suits you and make it work. I think this venue is especially great for having the ceremony and reception all in one place, which is convenient if you have a lot of family from out of town coming in. They also partner with some local hotels so that you can get discounted room blocks and arrange for shuttle service for your guests. Meredith and Amanda are wonderful to work with, very knowledgeable of the wine and winery while also being relaxing (which is nice when you consider all the stress of wedding planning). With a good selection of wines to pick from, your guests will definitely be able to find something they enjoy drinking. Overall, a wonderful venue with gorgeous surroundings and a fantastic staff.

Beyond what I had expected .
Meredith Hill at Winery at Bull Run was an excellent coordinator and took care of every detail before during and after the wedding. Even when I was running late as mother of the bride she hopped in my car and drove around the back to unload it so that I could rush in to do photos with my daughter. The Winery works closely with many caterers and knew exactly what to do to meet our expectations. Meredith apparently had a tremendous amount of experience in dealing with high stress situations and taking dreams and making them a reality. We essentially did not have to worry about anything on the day of the event because all the details had been addressed prior and they just executed them.

From start to finish, the team at BRW was amazing, especially Sarah and Amanda! They are accommodating, responsive, thorough, and helpful. From start to finish the day was perfect!! Our ceremony was set up and the winery staff did a great job of keeping the public at bay since the winery was still open! Once the winery closed the staff and caterers turned the tasting room in to our dream reception hall!! They even had heaters outside for our patio tables!
Amanda and Sarah were amazing to work with - from dropping off decor and alcohol early to picking it up a day or so later, they literally took care of everything for us! Our day was perfect - these girls are rockstars!

I booked my wedding at The Winery at Bull Run, which was obviously the most special day of my life! When meeting with Eddie and Paige in the Sales Department, all of my questions and concerns were immediately answered - and I had a lot of questions! They were very detailed and informative during the tour and throughout the presentation of the winery - I loved the rustic spaces. The wine-bar staff were incredibly friendly and the wine was delicious. We did our tasting with Caitlyn, who was very nice and seemed to be as excited about our wedding as we were. As an added bonus, the winery has a partnership with nearby hotels who offered discounted room blocks for our guests, as well as a complimentary shuttle for their safety and convenience.
As our wedding day got closer, we worked closely with the event team, Amanda and Sarah. They were very enthusiastic about every aspect of our special day. In addition, they brought us in for a pre-wedding meeting to go over logistics and final details with our vendors. I felt very relieved after this meeting, knowing the winery had our best interest in mind. On the wedding day, the event team was the first to arrive to set up. We were comforted that they were on top of everything and that our family could relax and enjoy our special day. We loved every minute of our wedding thanks to the winery's beautiful setting and amazing staff. I highly recommend booking your wedding or special event at The Winery at Bull Run!

The Winery at Bull Run is an incredibly beautiful venue. Amanda, the event coordinator who helped us was accommodating, sweet, amazing and a great person and she helped us be happy and comfortable during our event. I highly recommend the winery as a venue for your wedding, and look forward to visiting and remembering our magical time many more times.

Bull Run was such a joy to work with. We visited 10+ venues before we got to Bull Run and as soon as we met the staff and stepped on site, we knew it was where we had to get married. Amanda and Sarah were so helpful during the entire wedding planning process. Even though they were only meant to help with day of coordination, both answered every email and question I had leading up to our big day (and trust me I had a ton!). Everything went smoothly and we couldn't have asked for a better night and place to celebrate. Pro tip, if you want to take first look photos, the Stone Bridge down near the entrance is beautiful! The best perk that we enjoyed was having the hotel already pre-negotiated. Our guests enjoyed that the hotel was close by and very convenient. Thank you for an amazing wedding experience, the winery has definitely become our favorite in the area!

We chose the Winery at Bull Run because of how beautiful the venue was, but we were more blown away by the service of the staff there. Sarah and Amanda were such a huge help for our wedding day that I don't even think I stressed out about how everything was going to turn out on the day of there. They were on top of every detail, easily accessible through email and so, so kind and helpful all throughout the planning process and on the day of. All our guests loved the winery and staff and we're beyond satisfied that we chose this venue. The space was more than accommodating to the number of guests we had. The wine was great. It was a perfect night and the staff at the winery helped make it happen!!

The Winery at Bull Run was an awesome venue! The staff there are true professionals who run a tight ship and know how to pull off exactly what needs to happen. Our guests loved exploring the beautiful grounds, and everyone commented on how special the venue felt. This is a 5-star venue, no doubt. A couple tips for couples getting married at the Winery: 1) I’d suggest going to “watch” a wedding a few weeks before your wedding. We did so, observing how things were arriving and getting set up, how the pictures were going, and then the ceremony itself (from behind the platform!). It made me feel so much more confident and clear about how it all worked, and also gave us a good picture of how we wanted to schedule our day. 2) I’d suggest double checking the details on things like your processional order. You write everything down on a questionnaire, but it’s good to double check that it was all clear and that you are on the same page as the venue’s event coordinator.

We could not have been happier with The Winery at Bull Run as the venue for our wedding! Our guests are still talking about the beautiful grounds, the excellent sangria and what an amazing time they had. Amanda Turner, our event manager, and her staff were a joy to work with, and it was wonderful to know they had everything under control on the day of our wedding so we could just enjoy ourselves! They also coordinated very well with our other vendors to give the event a seamless feel. I was a little concerned about the winery being open to the public during our event, but as other reviewers have stated the winery staff did a wonderful job of managing crowd control during the ceremony and cocktail hour and it was absolutely not an issue. The patrons were also friendly and polite, and they even cheered for me as I came through the tasting room to take photos! This isn't really a negative, but be advised that there isn't much room for getting ready at the winery before the wedding - while they do have a small space, we got ready at our hotel before arriving and it worked out better for our party of four. I'm sure they have that in the plans for the future! Overall, it was an amazing place for our wedding, and we'd definitely choose it again!

Great place to have your wedding. When you book a wedding here, you get a day of event coordinator. Amanda was ours and she was amazing. I highly recommend taking advantage of their brunch wedding option. Our guests loved the brunch food. Also, we were able to have the ceremony before the winery opened to the public. The outdoor pictures couldn't be more beautiful.

Having our wedding at the Bull Run Winery was a great decision! The grounds are beautiful and the tasting room is perfect for a wedding reception. What I loved about it (besides the wine which is probably my favorite VA wine) is you do not need a lot of extra decor. Because they have twinkle lights and display cases with civil war stuff, it has more visual interest than your average venue. We picked February for a few reasons, but mainly because the venue fee was HALF what it is in the peak season and *usually* the winery is all but empty on a winter day. This winery's popularity has exploded in recent years, so a nice day means the grounds, tasting room, etc. are crawling with people. What we did not expect, in Feb, was for it to be a sunny 70 degree day, so we did, in fact, have to deal with the crowds. Now the winery does a fairly good job at helping you pull this thing off with so many people, but I was not prepared for the hordes of winery guests that were milling about everywhere that I wanted to get a decent picture. If you do get married here, just prepare yourself. We still managed to get some nice pictures, but it was chaos. The good part about the full winery is that after our ceremony ended, and our guests clapped, the whole winery erupted into cheers and clapping - I wasn't expecting that either, but they did it and it was very memorable. In the end, we were super thankful for the nice weather even if we weren't planning on the crowds. A few other things to know: do not get dressed at the winery. They're "small dressing room" is an office full of stuff. Make sure someone is keeping track of time - our reception started late bc of one winery guest who would not leave the bar upstairs, so my maids intervened. Bring shoes to stand in and shoes to walk in - gravel will be your nemesis no matter how sensible your bridal footwear seems. Amanda was our D.O. coordinator and did a great job!

The Winery at Bull Run was nothing short of spectacular for my wedding! From the minute I emailed them, Paige responded right away and was very helpful throughout the process. Amanda and Eddie are absolutely INCREDIBLE and made the process of planning a wedding actually easy! The day of the wedding was amazing and Amanda and Eddie were on standby for whatever I needed. Thanks to them, everything went off even better then planned. The winery itself is gorgeous! I used the barrel room as we had a 55 person wedding - it was beautiful! You can't beat the price for this winery. My husband and I looked from Rhode Island to Virginia - the minute we stepped foot onto the property, we were sold. Thanks to everyone at TWABR!!!!

We had the opportunity to work with Amanda at the Winery at Bull Run and couldn't be happier with how our wedding turned out. Amanda was always on hand to answer any questions I had (I had a lot!) and was very warm and professional. On the big day, huge wind gusts threatened everything from our signs and flower arrangements to the wine blending ceremony we had prepared, Amanda was out at the Hillwood ruins taping everything down to make sure that everything was still the way we wanted it, talk about going above and beyond. We were married on the ruinis, had cocktail hour in the barrel room and the reception in the tasting room. Each area was more gorgeous than the last. This venue was beautiful and well worth the cost.

Absolutely loved out wedding at WABR. It is a bit pricey but it is just the most beautiful setting. You honestly don't need to do any further decorating of your own because the place is so pretty as is. Wine was delicious. Staff was great. They were easy to work with and I would definitely recommend to others.

We were married at the Winery at Bull Run on August 6, 2016 and had about 90 guests. We felt like VIP's from our first visit almost a year ago to the last second of the reception! We absolutely love WABR's wine, and I think we must have gotten at least 3 different complimentary tastings before our wedding. Throughout the planning process Amanda was extremely responsive to any of my (numerous) questions and concerns. On the day of the wedding I was absolutely amazed by the attentiveness of all the winery staff and how smoothly everything went. Our ceremony on the Hillwood Ruins was beautiful, luckily the weather worked out in our favor (but you can use the barrel room as your alternate location in case of rain). Our guests enjoyed cocktail hour in the barrel room while we took photos around the winery grounds and in the vineyard. The tasting room was perfect for our rustic theme and number of guests. I didn't take off any stars for this but the only thing I would give any criticism about is the office space they allow you to get ready in with your bridesmaids/mother/beauty team - it is very cramped and we had barely enough room to put our dresses on (4 bridesmaids, my mom, myself, plus my hair/makeup girls, my photographer, and my officiant were in there at one point). We made it work though and I absolutely do not regret my choice to have my wedding there! Luckily my husband and I live less than 10 minutes away so we plan on returning frequently to enjoy the beautiful grounds and delicious wine. I highly recommend this venue, especially if you have a rustic theme and love wine!

Immediately upon touring the Winery at Bull Run, my husband and I knew it was the place for us to get married. The staff is wonderful and friendly, the venue is gorgeous, and the wine is top notch. Our guests were amazed by how beautiful the space was and very impressed by everyone who was helping to run the event. We got so many compliments about how great the wedding was largely due to the staff at Bull Run. Amanda was our coordinator and she was so great to work with -- very helpful and understanding and she puts you at ease during wedding planning. It is the best feeling knowing that you are well taken care of during such an important time. I can't say enough good things about our experience, definitely book your wedding here for the best day of your life!

My husband and I renewed our vows at TWABR and it was beyond perfect. We worked closely with Natasha and Amanda to make sure that our day was beautiful and creative, something that was outside of the box, they absolutely delivered. As a wedding planner, it was extremely important to work with a venue that was flexible and able to accommodate my creative needs; we couldn't have asked for a better outcome. It also helps that their wine is delicious, their land is breathtaking and their staff members are knowledgeable and friendly. We had wonderful experiences with Eddie, Paige, Jean, Natasha, Amanda and Dean, we will be back for sure and I will absolutely be recommending this venue to my future clients.

Our wedding at the Winery at Bull Run was amazing!! We received so many compliments on the venue from our guests and many told us it was the best wedding they had ever been to! Amanda was so helpful and made sure everything went off without a hitch. Some things to be aware of when booking this venue is that it is open for business during the ceremony. Honestly though, we didn't even notice this as all the patrons were very respectful. Also, nothing can be taken to the winery until 2 hours before the event. As someone who is a major planner I had a hard time understanding how this would work. It was important for us to be organized in both telling the coordinator what we wanted and in how we delivered everything to the winery. With these actions, there was absolutely no problem with the two hour time limit. This venue works like a well oiled machine and we didn't have to worry about a thing! We honestly could not be more happy with how our wedding turned out - and that was in large part due to TWABR!!! An added plus- the wine is delicious :)

The Winery at Bull Run is an amazing location for a wedding! It's beautiful and ideally set-up for a wedding. The staff was incredibly helpful and responsive throughout the entire process but on the day of the wedding they were beyond impressive! Thank goodness they have an inclement weather plan because we needed it on May 21, 2016! Having separate areas in the building kept the atmosphere intimate and special between the ceremony and the cocktail hour in the Barrel Room and the reception upstairs in the Tasting Room. The staff did a great job setting up the table centerpieces and runners we provided and decorating the cake cart. The vendors they work with are awesome as well. We had a fabulous wedding and could not have been happier with The Winery at Bull Run. It is crowded in the upstairs area if you are getting having your ceremony there and need to get ready at the winery.

From initial site visit to the actual day, Amanda and crew are there every step of the way to make sure you have the day of your dreams. Amanda is prompt when responding to any question you ask. Having Amanda as your day of wedding planner is awesome. She handles everything from vendors to placement of centerpieces to helping your guests. The Winery at Bull Run was a perfect setting for my daughters wedding. The grounds were great for photo ops. The staff was amazing. It is incredible how they flip the winery in 30 minutes and it is ready for the wedding guest. We were hesitant at first because there is no liquor allowed...only beer and wine but that didn't end up being a big deal all the guests had so much fun! It was a great time.

My husband and rented The Winery at Bull Run for our post-wedding celebration on April 23, 2016. We could not have been more pleased and impressed with our experience. From the "get-go", following our initial meeting with Eddie, The Winery at Bull Run worked closely with us (Amanda Turner, our event expert "extraordinaire") to provide the space and set-up that we wanted for our party. Amanda was very engaged throughout our planning process; she was courteous and respectful to our vision. She was also hands-on the day of the event. Everything was staged and set-up as we had discussed. We had 95 guests, our event was held outdoors (very thankful for the good weather), so we had the ruins (where a band played live music) and plenty of open space for tables, chairs, bar, food stations - and games (corn hole toss and bocce). We also had access to The Barrel Room, where our guests could sit indoors and watch a live stream of our wedding ceremony and honeymoon in Hawaii. We could not speak more highly for this Eddie and Amanda - who made our day the special event we had hoped it would be. So kudos to The Winery at Bull Run. An ideal setting for a party!

We choose The Winery at Bull Run because we wanted a rustic, laid back feel that was still in Northern Virginia without having to drive too far. TWABR was all we wanted and more! We rented the entire space (Ceremony at Hillwood Ruins; Cocktail Hour in the Barrel Room; Reception in the Tasting Room). This venue was exactly what we were looking for and was a beautiful backdrop to our wonderful day. I can't wait to see the rest of our pictures!!!
The staff at TWABR were fantastic. Amanda Turner was the Event Manager for our wedding and she did a fantastic job. She made everything so easy for us! She was very responsive to my annoying emails :) and always provided a solution or option to my questions. Anything we needed, she made it happen!! Any time I was at the winery (even if it wasn't for a specific meeting with Amanda), she would gladly answer my questions! During our wedding, all of the staff made us feel so welcome and at ease. While anxiously waiting for the ceremony to start, the Manager brought us snacks (cheese and bread) and water to calm my stomach all while coordinating the staff in setting up our event. It's the little things that made our experience that much better! Thank you so much for making the dream of our wedding day a reality!

Loved it! What a great experience. My Wife and I (man, I still gotta get used to that) wanted a venue that would not only host the wedding and reception we envisioned, but also be a place we would enjoy visiting again. The Winery at Bull Run is very close to DC, but still feels rural and wineryish. The wine, the facilities, the staff and the ambiance were perfect. I was so impressed with the staff, their attentiveness and their ability work with our other vendors (florist, catering, DJ, etc.) to ensure everything went smoothly. The Bull Run staff really operated as a team and made us feel like our wedding and our business was a priority. Our wedding was fantastic. If you are looking for a beautiful venue and an experienced team of people, who are flexible, accommodating and dependable, then you should feel very comfortable trusting Bull Run to host your wedding. Five out of Five stars, for sure.

I wasn't involved too much in the planning stages, but the day of the wedding, EVERY time I went to one of the employees with a question, it was answered immediately. Every concern was taken care of. The entire event was seamless. It was fabulous.

We loved having our wedding at TWABR. Amanda was our event coordinator and did a fantastic job. We held our ceremony there as well, it was absolutely beautiful. The staff there did a great job handling everyone and keeping everything organized even as it threatened rain during our ceremony. The only downsides are that the venue is open to the public until 7pm (during the ceremony and cocktail hour), and that the gravel/grass can be a little difficult to manage for guests with mobility issues. The open to the public thing didn't bother us at all, there weren't really that many people there (but that may be due to weather). Again, Amanda was absolutely wonderful and took care of everything.

This venue is so beautiful that I barely needed decorations on top of what was already given by the place itself. The only suggestion I have is for the bride and bridal party to bring some extra mirrors to get ready with! Other than that, the staff was amazing and honestly more than I ever imagined!

Our wedding at TWABR was an amazing experience from start to finish. Our first visit we immediately felt the positive energy from Eddie, who we all were crazy about. He was able to joke around with and charm our whole group of 6 women. We had another winery tour scheduled that afternoon, but we cancelled because we just new Bull Run was the place! A huge selling point for us was this was the only winery we visited that didn't require a minimum wine purchase to hold an event. You only pay for what you and your guests drink. You can set a limit on the bar tab if you want and don't have to worry about paying for more wine than you may use. When the contract was signed, Natasha and Amanda took the reins and they were amazing through the whole planning process. They quickly answered every email I sent to them, and were on point for the final walk through. On the day of, Natasha oversaw but Amanda was my primary "handler" haha. Both ladies checked in with me several times throughout the day and kept things flowing smoothly. I was late to my own ceremony, but Amanda took it in stride, adjusted the rest of the day's schedule accordingly, and kept the stress level low for me. I felt very taken care of. I highly recommend this venue, it is amazing that such a young winery has a team that is so well-oiled. Eddie even made sure to come down to the reception in the barrel room to say hi and give his congratulations. The event team is truly a dream!

We got married here Friday (10/02/15) and it was better than I could have even imagined. Their day of coordinators know what they are doing!!!! Amanda is seriously the BEST. She had my boxes and my notes and she and the rest of the staff turned the Barrell Room into pure magic. Everything ran so late (to no fault of any winery staff!) and they never made me feel panicked or rushed. We got rained out and everything was moved inside without a hitch! Amanda and Natasha at The Winery at Bull Run were fantastic as event planners and working with them was a very positive experience. My daughter's wedding was everything we hoped it would be and much of that was due to the professionalism, flexibility, friendliness and helpfulness offered to us by the team at the Winery. We would recommend the venue to future brides, grooms and their families. Because of the wedding, my family has also discovered a nice place to go for an afternoon picnic or to relax with friends. The venue is beautiful!

The winery at Bull Run was amazing! We held both our ceremony and reception at the winery. Natasha and Amanda, the day of coordinators, were awesome. They handled the set-up of everything along with making sure that the timing and follow through of everything went smoothly! They were flexible and arranged everything to fit our needs! The venue was perfect for our rustic style wedding. Our guests are still talking about how much fun they had! We would highly recommend hosting your wedding at the winery! It was so much better than we ever could have imagined!

I had my wedding at the Winery at Bull Run this past April. I can not begin to tell you what an amazing experience it was! My husband and I always just loved the winery and we were so excited about the thought of getting married there!! From the moment we met Eddy and did the tour of the winery we knew that was our Venue, Eddy could not of made us feel more comfortable and excited! Natasha the wedding coordinator was amazing!! I must of emailed her a million times and she always returned my emails right away. My wedding day could not of possibly gone any smoother! We showed up with the items to decorate the winery, Natasha and her assistant were already there waiting for us so they could begin to set up. I can not begin to explain how perfect my wedding day was to my husband and I! It was truly the best day of both of our lives and I truly thank the winery and there incredible staff!! If I had to do it all again, I would not change a thing!

The Winery at Bull Run is an awesome venue for a wedding and reception! Matthew and I went in there and the Wine Room Manager, Gene, took us around and showed us the facilities even though it was pouring rain!. The Winery staff was simply awesome to us. We booked the wedding and reception there that day! Natasha and Amanda were wonderful to us as well as all the other employees at the winery! On the wedding day, the staff made sure everything went smoothly and ensured everything was in place. When I went to ask about moving our things, it was already done ... they were a step ahead of us! We, wholeheartedly, recommend this venue for weddings and other occasions! Awesome and Beautiful location! We cannot even begin to show our appreciation to the staff at the Winery!

This location as perfect! From start to finish, this vendor ensured our day was perfect. Natasha was amazing and simply made everything happen. We had all our guests from out of town and their partnership with the Hyatt Place Chantilly made it seamless for transportation. The free shuttle service saved us and our guests a whole bunch of money. Beyond that, the wine is great and so are the grounds. I feel that our guests got a great experience out of it.
When they said that it was their job to make our day perfect, I believe it. I felt like everything, from set-up to break down, to planning, was such a lovely experience. Stress FREE!

The venue was gorgeous and it was everything we expected. We decided to have the ceremony inside the barrel room and it was absolutely lovely. Allison and Natasha were great to work with and made everything run very smoothly. I would recommend this venue to everyone! Just a helpful hint: we had 100 guests which was the perfect number! I think if your wedding is too big you will lose some space on the dance floor.

This venue is absolutely amazing. I love working with The Winery at Bull Run. They are professional yet friendly. Eddie is a miracle worker. My daughter selected The Winery at Bull Run for the location of her wedding reception and we couldn't have been happier with the management and staff there. From the very beginning our contacts, Natasha and Allison, were absolutely wonderful and I consider them top professionals in their line of business. They were always responsive, flexible and were 100% detail oriented for every aspect for the reception. The reception went off without a hitch and I atribute that to both of them being on-site the entire time and overseeing everything for us. They not only met all of our expectations, but exceeded them. I absolutely recommend this venue and staff for anyone planning a major event, especially one as important and personal as your daughter's wedding reception.

We really enjoyed our wedding at the Winery at Bull Run. As a venue, it is beautiful, especially with the great weather we had that day. The backdrop, Hillside Ruins, barrel room and east lawn were well maintained and very suitable for us and our guests. The deal they have with a local hotel made the experience convenient for traveling guests as well. The staff we worked with, Natasha and Allison, were very responsive and helpful. Allison was amazing the day of the wedding. She was accommodating and ensured everything was done right and we were happy. Having her that day really helped relieve stress. The only con to the venue was noise from customers directly behind the ruins and cars driving on the gravel road next to the ruins during our ceremony. The winery is open to other customers during most evening ceremony times. Though, it should be mentioned the winery staff did their very best to keep the noise level from patrons to a minimum during the ceremony.

The Winery at Bull Run is such an awesome venue! It's beautiful and in such a convenient location. There are multiple spaces at this venue so your guests can experience the whole place. We used the ruins for the ceremony, the barrel room for cocktail hour and the tasting room for the reception.
Natasha and Allison were great in responding to my questions in a timely manner. They are very organized which help put me at ease for the big day. We told them to reuse the pumpkins and lanterns from the ceremony site in the tasting room as they see fit and it was perfect! They did such a great job! They really know what they're doing! I highly recommend this venue!

The Winery at Bull Run is the most excellent venue for a wedding. Besides being relaxed and picturesque, the wine is delicious! The venue provides multiple locations with different ambiance to move your wedding events into different looks and experiences. The staff are very friendly, extremely confident, and always relaxed. Their nature makes it impossible or the wedding party to be nervous or worried about how things will work out during the actual wedding. Natasha and Allison ran things so smoothly, after only 1 coordination meeting, they are truly professionals and very experienced at their job.

The team did an amazing job with day-of coordination and set up, and helped me with anything I could possibly need during my ceremony and reception. Their professionalism and desire to help really impressed me! I booked just the barrel room for my 50-person reception, which was a perfect size and value. The site is gorgeous- my bridesmaids said that if they lived in VA they'd be at this winery every weekend, and a groomsman commented that he was so impressed with the venue that he was surprised it was within our price range :)

If you are searching for a winery that's close to Washington D.C. and convenient for your out of town guests, this is definitely the venue for you. In addition to convenience, the scenery is breathtaking and can even catch a glimpse of the horses that are beside the venue. Natasha and Allison are GREAT! Natasha handled our wedding with a breeze. Which clearly shows her experience and dedication. Note: The winery has a preferred vendor list, and you are free to use other vendors of your choice that may not be on the list. However, you MUST use of one of their preferred caterers. So make sure to research the caterers on the preferred list, prior to signing the contract. Other than that, we LOVED the venue and had the best wedding! Will be looking forward to visiting the winery again!

To anyone who dreamed of having a wedding at a winery, I highly recommend the Winery at Bull Run. They are centrally located in Fairfax County. They are very easy to access. The Events department is great to work with. We dropped off the decorations for our wedding on Friday and they had everything set up and ready to go by the time our guests got there.
Natasha and her team are willing to answer any question and assist however they can. They helped make the whole evening magical.

The Winery at Bull Run was the perfect venue for my rustic April wedding! As soon as I visited the winery, I knew it would be perfect! Eddie and Natasha were fantastic to deal with. I communicated the most with Natasha and she was also always very responsive and helpful with my many questions. Although the winery has only been open for a couple of years, they have held so many weddings, they have the process down to a T - it's a very seamless process. The winery is beautiful, requiring little decor, and is also very roomy! After doing some research, the price is very comparable to other wineries in the area, if not better, and the convenience of being close to hotels is ideal for out of town guests. I couldn't have been happier with my wedding choice! A HUGE thank you to the Winery at Bull Run for making our special day so amazing. I highly recommend them!

We just finished having our wedding at this venue. It was PERFECT!! We could not imagine getting married anywhere else. The outdoor ceremony, cocktail hour and reception went off without a hitch. Natasha was a saint and the entire staff and our vendors were superb. We are so glad we stumbled upon this winery a year and a half ago for a fun Saturday afternoon! Can't wait to go back and celebrate more special occasions at Bull Run.

Our wedding at TWABR was everything we were hoping it would be. After comparing some other venues in our area, we decided to go with The Winery because of Natasha and Eddie. Throughout the process, Natasha was super helpful and responsive. In the few days before the wedding and on the day of, Natasha was very attentive and made sure things were going as planned. I felt like we were able to enjoy the wedding more because the team at TWABR took responsibility for so much.
Our wedding ended up being about 60 people, so on the smaller side. The space here didn't feel too big, which is what we were worried about with a lot of other venues. It fit our guests perfectly but I could also see how it could hold many more if needed.

The Winery at Bull Run is an AMAZING place to have your wedding/wedding reception! My day was perfect! The scenery is BEAUTIFUL and Natasha and Eddie are AMAZING to work with. They are understanding and really listen to what you want. My day was PERFECT, I couldn't have asked for better. Natasha clearly has experience in organizing weddings and it shows in her dedication! They obviously have good relationships with their preferred vendors as well, it seemed as if they were able to read each other's minds when it came to the set up of the room!! My wedding at the Winery at Bull Run was fabulous! We worked with Natasha as our event coordinator and she could not have been more helpful. We had planned to have the ceremony outside but with rain in the forecast Natasha helped us rent at tent and everything worked out perfect. She was quick to respond to all of our questions and worked seamlessly with our caterer to help create our wedding exactly as we had envisioned it. If you have never been to the winery I would suggest making a trip. The grounds are beautiful and the tasting room has just enough rustic appeal to showcase the Bull Run history.

Wow! What a great venue! We held our wedding at the Winery at Bull Run in October 2013. Eddie and Natasha went out of their way to make sure we were happy with all of the details, plans, and set up. We never felt rushed during our consolations and during the week of the wedding they were always available to answer any of our questions. I cannot say enough about TWABR. Natasha and Eddie are wonderful to work with. From the first time I met Natasha I knew that this was the perfect place to have our wedding. She is so friendly, responsive and completely understands and listens to everything you want. She also comes up with great suggestions. Our day was absolutely perfect and Natasha and Eddie were a huge reason for this. When our candles blew out because of the wind, Natasha was quick to find LED candles to throw in our hurricanes. When I was walking back down the aisle, I kicked off my heels because the grass was uneven and she grabbed my shoes and took them for me. She was there every step of the way for me and I cannot thank her enough. My vision came out beautifully and I have her, Eddie and the TWABR staff to thank for that. I highly recommend this venue to anyone who is looking for a great value and personal service that cannot be topped. Also, to note, their wine is fantastic!! I still am getting compliments on how wonderful the venue was. If I would do it all over again, I would choose TWABR again in a heartbeat!!

The first time I visited The Winery at Bull Run, I knew it was the place I wanted to get married. Tucked away from the hustle and bustle, the gorgeous scenery painted a romantic picture, perfect for a wedding. From the Ruins where the outside ceremony was held to the Barrel Room for the reception, The Winery at Bull Run was the perfect amount of simple elegance mixed with a homey, warm feeling. Not only was The Winery a perfect location, but The Winery’s staff, especially Natasha and Eddie, were always able to answer my many questions and ease my worries, leading up to the big day. On the wedding day, Natasha and Eddie helped to make the day go on without a hitch. It was very obvious that they loved their job. If I had to do it all over again, there is no doubt in my mind that I would still want to get married at The Winery at Bull Run. It doesn’t hurt that their wine is delicious too.

My husband and I decided to renew our vows after 10 years together and a disasterous wedding. We knew wanted to have the dream wedding we didn't get the first time and as a wine lover a vineyard/winery made the most sense. We visited 13 vineyards and knew as soon as we talked to Eddie and Natasha that The Winery at Bull Run was where we wanted to renew our vows. The space is absolutely beautiful and they had so many options for us. Both Eddie and Natasha were quick to respond to our questions, provide guidance when needed and went out of their way to make sure we had the perfect night. After things falling apart so badly the first time I was very uneasy about leaving all the set up to someone else but they assured me it would be gorgeous. I was absolutely blown away when I saw how perfect everything was. They made sure it was a stress free day and that every detailed I had dreamed came true. I even was able to get Eddie in the photo booth with me. I couldn't be happier with how things turned out and with Eddie and Natasha. I will be a lifelong visitor (and even got a small tattoo to commemorate!) and would highly recommend not only TWABR but Natasha and Eddie to anyone looking for an event venue!

We booked this venue in January for our September wedding, knowing instantly that it was the perfect venue for us. Rustic, historic, quaint, yet modern, we fell in love with the ambiance, vision, and sheer uniqueness. I was both the bride and wedding planner, and my many questions during the planning process were answered promptly and thoroughly. We were blessed with beautiful weather for our outdoor ceremony, but felt confidant and safe with the contingency plan if it had rained. Eddie and Natasha were fantastic to work with both in the months leading up to the wedding and on wedding day itself. Many guests commented that it was the best wedding they ever attended. We certainly had a day we will cherish and remember forever and can't imagine having it anywhere but at The Winery at Bull Run.

We had our wedding at the Winery at Bull Run and it was the perfect venue and day!! My maid of honor and mother/ mother in law came early and were able to hang out before the wedding and the staff was so friendly and accommodating. They made sure that the whole day was absolutely perfect - Natasha and Eddie were so easy to work with :)

This is a beautiful location for a wedding. We, fortunately, had great weather for an outdoor wedding, but had a good back up plan on site. Eddie and Natasha were wonderful and easy to work with. We couldn't have asked for a better experience.

We had a post-wedding celebration at Bull Run Winery on April 27, 2013 in their Barrel Room. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience as did our guests. About 80 people attended and there was room for everyone; plus, the rustic decor added to the atmosphere. We used one of their suggested catering vendors (Purple Onion)and were very pleased with the service and food selection. The Bull Run wine servers were quite pleasant, efficient, and professional. We would definitely recommend Bull Run Winery to friends and family for their own events.

After shopping around we settled on the Winery at Bull Run for our wedding. It was by far the best choice for us and would do everything the same if we did it again!!!! We had a small (60) person wedding on the ruins of the old mansion, cocktails in the generals patio and reception in the barrel room. The winery was open during our ceremony but our guests never saw them because the staff asked them to move shortly before it started. Our pictures are priceless against the fields, wood fence, wood barn-like walls, wine barrels... The only decorations we needed was petals down the isle, centerpeices, tablecloths and uplighting in our color in the barrel room (done by our DJ) because the beautifull enviorment outside and in was enough. For the reception I would say another 10 people could fit comfortably in the barrel room if it was a plated dinner (we did buffett so needed walking room). The staff were friendly, helpful, flexible and responsive. Natasha and Eddie (winery event coordinators) are a amazing team that managed all our vendors, set up, clean up.....If anything went wrong I never knew about it because they took care of it! They will be as involved or not as you wish and they made us feel like part of the winery family.
The price includes ample parking, their staff and tables and chairs (which are beautiful wood...not the plastic white ones at most places). Also to keep costs down we had a cash bar and family could buy their own wine by the glass (or bottle). They work with a local hotel that has free breakfast and transportation to and from the winery and Dulles airport for out of town guests. If I had to find one negative is that there is not a offical getting ready place. We could use some office space for changing and worked fine, but if you want more room I reccomend getting a hotel room. ABSOLUTE 5 stars!!!!!!!!

Our wedding at The Winery at Bull Run was everything we could have imagined and more. The staff, especially Sarah and Amanda, were a wedding dream team and guided us through the entire process with ease. We contemplated hiring a wedding planner, but after meeting with Amanda and Sarah and watching them work with our caterer (who was on the list of approved vendors provided by TWABR) we knew we weren't going to need one. Although they We had originally wanted to have our wedding at a property along the Potomac with a view of the river, but found the winery's view of the vineyards, countryside and mountains just as picturesque and knowing that we were working with a venue that had a system in place and a contingency plan for all situations quickly changed our mind and sold us on TWABR. Don't let the fact that the winery is open during your ceremony dissuade you from considering the winery. Amanda and her staff do a great job of making sure the patrons don't disturb the ceremony, the noise is absolutely minimal and the ruins are an absolutely beautiful location for a ceremony (especially at sunset)! If you are looking for a rustic feeling location with easy access to DC and a minimal hassle wedding we absolutely recommend TWABR!

Such a great venue; we could not have been happier with The Winery at Bull Run! We received so many compliments from the guests about how beautiful the grounds were, and how organized everything was. Amanda and Sarah, our event managers, were a joy to work with. They worked very well with the other vendors (their partnership with the Hyatt Place Chantilly is a nice perk) and provided a super helpful checklist to make sure that we had all of the decorations and logistics nailed down. As others have advised, definitely take advantage of a venue tour and the friendly staff. Ask questions, look at the picture books from previous weddings, and take pictures of your own to help with planning, decor, etc. They do have a pretty unique system for turning over the venue (from fully-functioning tasting room to reception hall) so it helps to talk that through. They have that transition down to a science though. All in all, the value and ambiance they created could not be beat. We had an amazing wedding, took some fabulous pictures, and above all made some great memories. Definitely recommend Bull Run!

I got married two weeks ago and am still recovering completments on how amazing the wedding and venue was! Working with Amanda and all the TWABR staff was amazing. They were quick to answer all my questions, and work with me on my ideas , which at times were very specific. All the ammenities that are included were the original reason we went with the winery and working with everyone made it even better! I would suggest TWABR to any bride getting married and looking for an amazing rustic feel!

The venue itself is gorgeous so it was an easy decision for us when choosing a place to get married. The communication, preparation and day of coordination from Amanda was outstanding. I couldn't be happier with the way everything turned out. They go out of your way to make sure your day runs as smoothly as possible! Highly recommend!
