Wonderful Venue and Packages!

I absolutely loved my experience with the Windmill Winery and would definitely recommend them to anyone looking! I got married at the Windmill Winery in June 2023. It was the most beautiful wedding. We got the whole package except for the flowers and were married in the lake house. The venue is beautiful! We loved the dock and the reception area. Coming out of the big metal doors was such a thrill! I can't say enough how happy I was with how beautiful our venue was. The bridal cottage was a great place for getting ready pictures. When I first toured the the Windmill Winer I loved the venue but I was nervous about where to take pictures after the ceremony and not just have desert. There was plenty of green around and our pictures were beautiful! It was so much fun to take pictures with the vintage car too!
On top of this, all of our vendors were amazing! Our food was unbelievable and our biggest regret of the night was not taking some to-go to the hotel! Our DJs were so helpful and calming during the planning. My husband and I are not even a cake people and we thought the cake was delicious! Tana was so sweet to us throughout planning and the day. We loved loved loved our wedding day.

Incredible

Oh my gosh where do I start?! From the open house, to picking food, cakes meeting the DJ.. everything was incredible and smooth!
They made you feel absolutely welcomed and heard! Answered every question and concern literally up to walking to walking down the aisle!
My day of coordinator was amazing and the staff went above and beyond to make our day a dream come true!!!!
I literally can’t thank the winery enough!

We chose the barn side and literally couldn’t have been happier.!!!

Dream Wedding

We couldn't have asked for a better wedding! From the beginning of planning all yhe way to wedding day, the Windmill Winery and Tala & Tana Sheets had been nothing but helping and very responsive! We highly recommend the Windmill Winery!

Phenomenal Barn Wedding in December

My wife and I had a magical night at the Windmill Winery. We are incredibly thankful for the staff, our DJ (DJ M-Cat), and the wonderful folks at M’s Avenue Grill for a great experience.

Dream Rustic Barn Wedding at The Windmill Winery!

I don't even know where to begin with The Windmill Winery. From the beginning tour, open houses, planning the whole process with our event manager, the rehearsal dinner and the big wedding day the entire staff made our special day one we will never forget. This location is truly something beautiful. Every little detail was perfect. It might have been 97 degrees the day we got married but the staff was able to accommodate my requests to move the cocktail hour inside, and they even put out the last minute handheld silk fans I got for all the guests so they could stay cool during our ceremony. We found the majority of our vendors at their open house that they hold once a month and this made the wedding planning process so simple and easy for us! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND booking The Windmill Winery for your perfect, dream rustic Barn Wedding!

Lake House

The Lake House at the windmill winery became a special place due to being an indoor and outdoor venue. We loved how spacious the property is and how nice the staff is. We definitely recommend the wine slushies!

Perfect Wedding Venue

We booked our September 2020 wedding in June 2019 and it was without hesitation the best decision we could have made! Given the nature of 2020 and COVID there were a handful of unforeseen complications we had to work through in order to ensure that our wedding was both beautiful and safe for our guests. Tana, Karen, and The Windmill Winery team were an absolute dream to work with. They were easy to communicate and were available throughout the entire planning process. They went above and beyond to ensure our day was flawless. We feel so blessed to have hosted our wedding at The Windmill Winery and would recommend them to any newly engaged couple!

Amazing venue and staff!

We got married at the Windmill Winery in November 2019 at the brick arches and red barn. From start to finish everything went along with ease, and I always felt my questions and needs were not only heard but action was taken in making our once in a life time day become a reality. We started our Windmill Winery journey with Tana Sheets, she was amazing! She helped draft our contract and help guide us in making sure all the little details important to us were considered and communicated through to our venue support team. Karen Durham was our assigned coordinator; she too went above and beyond ensuring all would be perfect. Karen was calm and collected the day of and helped keep everything on track. I spoke to both Tana and Karen multiple times over the course of the year planning and they were always so responsive and helpful in their guidance. Angela Campo was also amazing! She helped organize our rehearsal at the wine tasting room and always had a smile on her face; she had a way of helping put your worries as ease. Angela, Karen, and Tana walked me to the barn before the ceremony to let me see how all the little details came together. It was a very special moment for me and I was so appreciative of all three of these women throughout the planning process and day of! Another thank you to the venue preferred DJ, Joel Gibbs, he was AMAZING! Joel helped make the reception be one of a kind and kept the energy alive the entire night. We used our own catering company, Bruce Brown Catering, who did an outstanding job as well. People, even months later, keep telling us how much fun they had, how great the food was, and how beautiful the venue was. Thank you Windmill Winery for our dream come true wedding!!

You won’t regret booking with Windmill Winery

The Windmill Winery was AMAZING. We are from El Paso, TX. I was worried that the long distance would be messy and stressful but it was quite the opposite. Karen was just a text away with any questions I had and she responded within the same day if Not within that hour! Anything that the venue had to take care of was done with prestige class and timing. We received SO MANY compliments on the beauty of the venue.. it was serene and perfect! 100% happy with the service and the results of the Wedding Day :)

Paradise in the Desert

Windmill Winery was a wonderful choice for our Wedding. There is nothing that we would change about the venue, the vendors, the staff or the planning of the day itself.

About a year before our wedding my fiance (now wife) and I began a search for our wedding venue. The Windmill Winery may have been the 6th or 7th venue we had seen. The pier, which is the ceremony site on the Lake House side of the property, was the ideal spot for our ceremony. Of course we then had to see the rest of the property but I was nearly sold already. So long story short, we were convinced by the venue and the staff that this is where or wedding should take place.

In the passing months Karen (our coordinator) was hugely helpful in making sure that everything that we needed to do was being done in plenty of time.

When the big day arrived everything they said they would do was done. Welcoming our guests, coordinating the ceremony walk in, keeping in touch with the vendors and making sure wishes were being executed by the vendors. All this in a seamless manner.

A total 5 star experience from day 1 to wedding day itself. We'd have no hesitation in recommending The Lake House at the Windmill Winery to any couple looking for a their Wedding venue. We are also excited that it is a venue we can keep visiting long after with the events the Winery puts on each week.

Most special

Windmill Winery was the first venue we saw when we started to look for venues and we instantly adored it!
We had the pleasure to meet with Tana ( she’s amazing) and she was able to answer all of out questions, she put us at ease with everything and we were excited to start planning our wedding! Then we started working with Karen Durham who was an absolute dream to work with! She was our event manager and she was more than we could ask for! Extremely helpful and always on call!
The venue is beautiful. We had our wedding at the Lake House and it was an absolute dream! Our guests loved everything about the venue!
I can’t recommend this venue enough! We loved having our special day there!

This Venue is a Bride's Dream

All I can really say is WOW. This venue really is a bride's dream location! I had my wedding at the Big Barn location and it was more amazing than I could have ever dreamed it could be. The venue is gorgeous! But even more than that, the staff and vendors were so friendly and helpful, especially our wedding coordinator! We had a wedding party of 17 people (not including me or my husband). It no doubt could have been chaotic but she handled it so well and kept everything flowing on time. There is no way we could have pulled it off without her! From the moment we arrived on property, to our first look, to the ceremony and then to dancing the night away, our entire day was a dream! Looking back, there is no other venue we could have chosen that would have been a better fit for us!

Amazing!!!!

The windmill winery is absolutely beautiful! We just had our wedding there on February 1, 2019 in the big barn, our day was absolutely perfect! the staff at the windmill winery are amazing and very helpful and quick to respond! We had so many compliments on the day of our wedding about how beautiful our venue was and how unique it is. I highly recommend checking out the windmill winery when looking for a wedding venue!

Beautiful Experience, Wonderful Day!!!

I cannot say enough good things about this venue. The value you get for the price is unsurpassable and the venue is absolutely gorgeous. Added bonus was the all-inclusive feature of catering, DJ and cake being part of the package. There are several vendors to choose from in each category and everything is absolutely amazing. We received tons of compliments from our guests and everyone had a fabulous time. Our Event Coordinator, Karen, helped to ensure that everything went absolutely smooth and as planned...there were no hidden surprises taking away from the happiness and beauty of the day! Beautiful Venue

Best day of my life

After working in the hospitality industry, I did not have much desire to plan my own wedding however it was important for us to celebrate our union with close family and friends. Choosing the Windmill Winery was absolutely the best decision for us. I love that they have inclusive packages and our meeting planner, Karen, was amazing!! Karen was there for every bit of the day and with the planning process she offered great recommendations and advice. We would choose this venue again and again. Everything from the natural, beautiful, and intimate ambiance to our up beat and fun DJ, it was truly a day we will remember forever.

The most amazing wedding venue EVER!

My husband and I just had the opportunity to have our wedding at the Windmill Winery. This wedding venue is hands down the best venue that I have ever been to! It is so beautiful and so unique! You would not know that it is in Arizona. We had our wedding in the big barn and it was just out of a dream. It was everything I had in mind for our wedding and even more. I would get married there every year if I could! The grounds are beautiful and can really be changed to your personal style. They make the wedding process SO easy and SO fun! We were introduced to so many amazing vendors through the process of having our wedding at the Windmill. It really was my dream come true!

Amazing!

It is the most PERFECT venue for any wedding, special celebration, company party etc. My daughter got married at the Lake House in Nov. 2018. Shauna Fadden and the rest of her crew were the BEST!!! My daughter and new Son-in-Law said it was their dream wedding. That is all that I needed to hear!!! Make your "dream wedding" memories, and book at the Windmill Winery in Florence Arizona. You will be glad you did!!

We had our wedding at The Windmill Winery on 9/22/18 in the “Big Barn” and it was absolutely fabulous!! They make the planning process so easy, but most importantly fun! Jordan helped us book our venue and date the very first time we visited the Winery, it was absolutely stunning and we knew this was where we wanted to get married. Jordan was such a joy to work with I will never forget her kindness and positivity and she wasn’t even our wedding planner! Next we had the privilege of working with Shauna, who was our wedding coordinator and she was an absolute rockstar! She was helpful, diligent, organized and knowledgeable as we ironed out the details of our day! Seriously it was so easy! The day of our wedding she was right there the whole day for anything we needed and kept things running smoothly even when plans changed or the timeline went haywire she made it look effortless! I’m seriously so greatful for you Shauna!! When you book with the Winery included in the price are 3 package vendors your caterer, DJ, and cake which is the best value we found of any other venues we toured. Picking our packaged vendors and attending the bridal open houses was so much fun and it is exactly what you think wedding planning should be, only better! I was so grateful to not have to run around and find all of my own vendors it was a one stop shop! We chose Kiss the Chef Catering, Elegant Entertainment (Joel Gibbs) and Piece of Cake. They were all fantastic and they all work so well together! It ran like a well oiled machine! I have received so many compliments from my guests about our venue and vendors, my only wish is that I could relive this day and enjoy it more, it seriously went by so fast! I wish I had more time to soak it all in! Choosing the Windmill Winery was the best decision we made for our wedding! Hands down the best customer service and professionalism we found at any venue! Thank you for helping us plan the wedding of our dreams and making the process so fun!!!

I feel like no review could do justice to how amazing the Windmill Winery is! Out of all of our vendors and our whole planning process, the Windmill Winery stands out so much as the best decision we made. I can't even start to describe how easy and wonderful the entire planning process was, I feel like I had zero stress the entire time because the team was so wonderful. We had our wedding at the Lakehouse on 9/22/18 and it was absolutely perfect. When we first went to an open house here a little over a year ago we already had pretty much made our mind up on a different venue however thought we would do our due diligence and check it out before committing to our first choice after touring several venues around Phoenix. When we arrived we were blown away by how beautiful the property was as well as how fantastic all the packaged vendor options are (especially Kiss the Chef who we went with for catering). We immediately fell in love however right off the bat assumed there is no way we could afford to host our wedding at this nice of a venue, then were completely shocked to learn the same date with the same package for our 120 person guest count would actually run us a full $6000 less than our original venue which paled in comparison. I am still in awe of how above and beyond our included day of coordinator Lisa was, she truly thought of everything and walked us through the whole process. She would even email me back at odd times like Saturday nights, I can't express how amazing/kind/organized she was and our wedding could not have been nearly as well planned and executed without her. The Lakehouse was the perfect size for our wedding guest count, the food was amazing, we could even add in a photo booth and beer donkey which were a huge hit with all our guests. The shuttle service to and from the local hotel was also amazing because guests didn't have to worry about parking or getting a ride home. Absolutely beautiful wedding venue with even more fantastic staff!

We were married at the Windmill Winery (Big Barn) April 2018.
For us there were no other venues that captured country in such an elegant way. The Winery is a beautiful and spacious property with so much unique charm.
We were just as impressed with our experience with the Winery staff. Shauna was our coordinator. I’ll be forever grateful to her for keeping our stress minimal, and making our vision a priority.
I would highly recommend the Winery to any future Mr. and Mrs.

My husband and I created our wedding day at the Windmill and it could NOT have gone any better. Everyone says that "things will go wrong; you have to just go with the flow." But I kid you not, absolutely NOTHING went wrong. I couldn't have had better staffing from the Windmill as well as the contractors that they go thru for food, music, and flowers (everyone, literally EVERYONE raved about how good the food was ;)). It was a one-stop (stress free) shop that made planning a destination wedding so fun and relaxing. Although its an hour drive out in the middle of nowhere, the landscape and picture opportunities throughout the breathtaking barn, ceremony sites, yard games, beer burro and wines will never be topped in my mind! It was the most beautiful fairy tale place for our wedding!

From Jordan introducing us to the Windmill Winery as we were touring venues, to Karen becoming our wedding coordinator, everything went fantastic! Jordan was the sweetest and nicest person to first put a face to our venue. She seemed just as excited about my wedding as I did - she also was always available to call/text on little details that popped into my head throughout the days (and nights).

Karen walked us through our wedding process starting 6 months before the wedding. She was on top of EVERYTHING! I didn't need to worry about one thing except picking what I wanted. She made the wedding of our dreams happen and she was so extremely nice to work with. The day of the wedding, I barely saw her, but throughout the day, Karen and her minions made our day the smoothest and most perfect day. I can't thank everyone enough!

This venue is beautiful! We chose the big barn for the wedding and it was perfect. We started with Jordan in sales who worked with us to make sure everything was what we wanted. We had Daleen and Lisa for our coordinators. They think of things that you don't even think about and they go over all of the details with you to make sure you are getting the wedding you've always wanted. They went above and beyond to work with us and make the wedding be everything the bride dreamed of. From the planning to rehearsal to the wedding they make you feel like your wedding is their top priority. Their attention to detail is amazing. The bride's vision of her wedding truly came to life. On the day of the wedding everything went so smoothly with Lisa coordinating. Lisa seemed to be everywhere at once taking care of every little detail. It was like magic. We had the horse and carriage bring the bride to the ceremony and then take the bride and groom away after the ceremony. After that the horse and carriage were available to all of the guests for a ride around the property. Everyone loved it! The reception in the barn with all the string lights was beautiful. I seriously cannot say enough good things about the Windmill Winery and their team. If you are looking for a place for your wedding you will be extremely happy with them. Our guests couldn't stop talking about how much they loved the wedding and the venue. What a perfect day! You won't be disappointed if you choose the Windmill Winery. My husband and I got married in the Big Barn on 12/10/17! The Windmill Winery made it so easy for us to have the most amazing wedding. All of our guests were blown away by this piece of paradise in the desert. The beautiful views are self-explanatory, as well as the kind staff and event coordinators. Shauna, our event coordinator in particular, was an amazing help, and made our night perfect. All of the vendors we chose from were excellent, and work so seamlessly together. Elina's Catering in particular was out of this world. Chef Peter did not miss a beat and was on top of everything, even if it was a drunk friend nearly spilling wine on the bride! Would absolutely recommend this venue to ANYONE, as it was the best decision we could have possibly made.

I had my wedding this past weekend at the Windmill Winery. I was so beyond happy with how it turned out! Everything went as planned, and we had so much support along the way. Our coordinator, Shauna, was absolutely amazing. They helped us with set up and turning on our electric candles, helping us stay on schedule, and making us feel so special on our special day! My husband and I were just recently married at The Windmill on September 22. Throughout the whole process, the venue was easy to work with and provided us with basically everything we needed from start to finish. We got a wedding planner about 6 months prior to our wedding (Karen Durham) and she was AMAZING. She answered all questions in a timely manner and worked with me on requests that I didn't think were doable. The bridal open houses they provide are great, as you can meet all the vendors included and then choose from there. You not only get to meet them, but taste the food and get a feel for what works best for your day. The venue was clean and looked perfect the day of our wedding. We also had our rehearsal dinner on site in their pavilion located outside the wine tasting room. The coordinator for this was so helpful and made this process super easy as well. They had live music that was provided at no additional charge. I can't say enough good things about this place. Don't be alarmed by the drive out there, as when you arrive, it's like you're in a whole different place; simply beautiful! Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a great venue for their upcoming wedding.

My daughter's wedding at the Windmill Winery was perfect. Many guests commented that this was the best wedding they had ever been to. The food was delicious (Kiss the Chef), the cake was fabulous (Leslie) and the DJ (Joel) really got the reception going. The wedding coordinator was Shauna Fadden who was an awesome, thoughtful, manager who put my daughter at ease and made the evening a truly wonderful, memorable experience!

The Windmill Winery made our wedding day absolutely perfect!! It is definitely a drive out there but so worth it!!! All of our guests talked about how beautiful it was and they could understand why we chose this location for our special day. Our wedding coordinator was great to work with but she had a last minute emergency the day of our wedding and couldn't be there but the Winery had someone (one of the owners) fill in before I even knew about anything and nothing ever skipped a beat. Everything ran so smoothly I literally didn't have to worry about a thing. I was originally worried about the accommodations because of the one hotel in town but everything actually worked out perfectly!! Also, they made my life so easy by offering a package that included Caterer, Cake, and DJ (all of them were amazing also). The Windmill Winery was an amazing venue and I would 100% recommend anyone looking for the perfect venue to check them out!!!

We got married at the Windmill Winery Lake House on Nov. 26th, 2016. Everything about wedding planning was so easy thank you to the Windmill. We went to the initial open house which was amazing, you have the opportunity to see what the venues looked like set up for a wedding, get to taste the foods & the desserts and also meet with all the different preferred vendors. Once I got home, I told my fiance about it and he immediately said no, he was turned off by the distance from Chandler, the fact that they had beer and wine only, and that the town was too little for an after party. Finally. I convinced him to go for a tour. The Windmill was awesome at accommodating a private tour of the venue. His whole entire family who was extremely skeptical immediately fell in love. A few days later, without looking at any other venues, we had booked our wedding. We went to our second open house and were able to plan our whole entire wedding in one day (catering, flowers, photographers, cake, etc). It was STRESS FREE! Six months out from the day of the wedding, our wedding coordinated Shauna contacted us. She is AMAZING. I could email her at any hour of the day and she would immediately respond with the answers to my questions. They truly made being a bride enjoyable because I did not have the stress of the planning that most brides do. The day of our wedding was absolutely magical. I never felt one ounce of stress because I knew everything would be taken care of and it was. Our day of coordinator, Katie was AMAZING. She made sure that every little detail was there. Not only did my guests rave about how seamless our wedding was, but they raved about the venue, the food, the dessert and most of all the fun that we had. Not one person complained about the drive from Phoenix. My advice to any bride would be to get married at the Windmill, you will not find anywhere better, it is absolutely gorgeous. They are amazing at organizing, planning and executing your dream day!!!

I immediately felt at home and at ease with the owners of the Windmill Winery. The venue overall has such a family vibe, in fact I fell in love with the barn at first sight it is so romantic twinkle lights and all! I had planned and looked forward to my grandpa walking me down the isle but unfortunately he passed away 5 months before my wedding. When the day of my wedding arrived, my cousin played his favorite songs on the viola so that I would feel him there with me. Moments before my walk towards my best friend, soulmate, and soon to be husband and partner in life I had a brief realization that I was missing my grandfather dearly. At that very instant right before I was about to break into tears and embrace all of the emotions I was feeling, the bartender offered me some water and told me to take a breath and to soak it all in. It was exactly what I needed to hear at exactly the right time! The walk down the aisle flew by and felt like a haze but there I was soaking up every perfectly magical moment! It wasn't until my grandmother came up to say a toast and told me that there was a hummingbird that flew over me all the way to the arches and continued to hover over us as we said our vows and exchanged rings. She said that it was my grandpa there with me. The Windmill Winery is an extremely special place to me! The venue speaks for itself but the memories I will forever share there are absolutely priceless!

We had our wedding in the barn on June 17th 2016 at The Windmill Winery with 150 guests. Our wedding planner, Whitney Bush was awesome! Not only did it seem like she was part of our family but she kept everything in order and made sure my husband and I were okay and kept the ball rolling. From the time we were allowed on property to the time we had to leave we truly enjoyed every moment. The only complaints we have are, the timeline is very short to get everything done, we felt very rushed. Most of the night was rushed on a time line to make sure you could do the traditional wedding activities-ceremony, pictures, grand entrance, dinner, socializing,bouquet and garter toss, cake cutting etc., before having to clean up and exit the property. And we had to provide water bottles for our guests. The water could have been provided from the caterer but was an extra charge per 50 guests and it was cheaper to go buy the water ourselves. For the fact that we chose the venue on the warmest time of year and as much money that was spent..complimentary water would have been nice. We had the venue from 3PM to 10:30. Clean up started at 10:30 and we had to be off the property by 11PM. Even an extra hour would have been perfect...which is available for more money but again, after the amount of money that was already spent..what's another hour?
Our wedding was overwhelmingly the best night of our lives and we can't wait to re-visit the winery to reminisce about the night! <3

The Windmill Winery was the PERFECT venue. First of all, it is absolutely beautiful. We got married in the Big Barn which was a magical setting for our wedding. Whitney, our coordinator, was the BEST! She was so attentive, took care of every little detail, and was a pleasure to work with throughout the entire process. We would like to thank the windmill winery and all of their staff, especially our event manager Shauna for making our dream wedding come true. Not only was every detail perfect but they also made the whole process stress free. It made it easy as they had open house events with all their vendors and samples of what they provided. We shopped around quite a while for other venues and could not find anything else close that was all inclusive to even compare. What makes this venue more than a gorgeous backdrop, is the amazing team they provide you for your bid day! We had my wedding there in February. The venue is beyond beautiful! All of the staff was great, Tana was great to work with when booking the venue, and Shauna was awesome. Shauna responded very quickly to any questions we had and was extremely easy to work with. The day of the wedding was a breeze and the vendors that we chose from their selection showed up and did an amazing job! We used Kiss the Chef which all of our guests gushed about how delicious the food was, Ellagant Entertainment which JJ was who we got for our DJ, he did a phenomenal job at keeping everyone entertained and on the dance floor! Gigi's cupcakes where delicious. All in all I couldn't have asked for a better venue to Marry my soul mate of 19 years! Thank you Windmill Winery!

Words can't describe how beautiful this venue is but I will try. It has 2 ceremony sites, We used the lake house. It is wooden, white and grey and rustic! The team at windmill do such a wonderful job of running everything, and getting it all setup for you. They even have an All inclusive package which we took advantage of. They will assign you a wedding coordinator, Ask for WHITNEY! she is the best, makes you feel so at ease and answers any questions or concerns so quickly. My family is still telling me how beautiful the wedding was, from the lake view ceremony, to the lawn games and the toasty bon fire. The windmill was my first pick for venues because nothing compares. It doesn't need tons of décor, it is beautiful on its own!

We recently had our wedding ceremony and reception at the Windmill Winery Lake House. Everything about the day was beautiful and perfect! The grounds are beautiful and our coordinator, Karen, was out of this world amazing. She was so courteous and quick to answer any of our many questions throughout the whole process. She truly made the day go so smoothly. Honestly I was expecting something to go wrong at some point, but nothing ever fell out of place thanks to Karen. It may be a bit of a drive, but it is so worth it!! We highly recommend the Winery to everyone!

You MUST book your wedding here! I had my wedding booked more than a year in advance and they helped me every step of the way! My wedding was 100% perfect! There's not a thing I would change! Everything was absolutely perfection!!!

The staff is WONDERFUL! They are so kindhearted and patient! So sweet! My coordinator was Shauna and she is a TRUE gem! She was so patient with me and my crazy family and SUPER responsive! I'd receive a response usually same day or within a day to all of my questions! She was clear in directions and information.

The price - you can't beat it! I know many who go to high end resorts and I'm sure pay triple the amount. You get a great value for your perfect day at this venue!

For their vendors, I chose Chef Le and Gigi's Cupcakes! BOTH were an outstanding hit! Usually at weddings the food is the last thing you hear about - but everyone who attended my wedding LOVED Chef Le's food! We also added cocktail hour food with him that was DELISH!

And the DJ! OH THE DJ!!! Everyone LOVED our DJ! We had DJ Will with Ellagant Entertainment! He made the party so wonderful and kept it moving at a great pace!

My now hubb and I saw this amazing venue first, before anything else. The price was a bit high, so we decided to keep looking. After weeks of searching for something else, we just kept on falling back to the winery. We decided to go to one of the shows, and just fell in love. The staff was so helpful and so nice to us. There was no question that this was the place for us. We booked in April 2014 for a June 2015 wedding, and was able to set up a great payment plan that worked with our budget to make our day perfect. Karen Durham was assigned to me as my wedding corrdinator, and I cannot tell you how amazing she was. She answered every email quickly and always had an answer or solution for me. There was never a time that I felt out of the loop. Karen was by far the life saver of the wedding and it wouldn't of been as perfect as it was without her. The night before the wedding, my mother and I both got food posioning and were terribly sick the day of the wedding. Karen found out and let all the staff and vendors know, and even bought some gaterades to help settle our stomachs. Not only was Karen a delight, but the venue itself was jaw dropping. It was a hot day, but so worth it. We got so many compliments on how great the wedding and he venue were. I couldn't of asked for a more perfect day. Thank you the the staff the The Windmill Winery, and especially to Karen. You all are amazing!

We had our dream wedding come to life, and largely due to the stunning Windmill Winery Venue. We got married in the barn and it was amazing, all our guests raved about the property. We simple fell in love with the rustic elegance of place. The staff was wonderful, they helped in any way they could to help us create our perfect day. Our event coordinator Shauna went above and beyond for us, she so wonderful and sweet. I don't how many emails I sent her with questions and ideas, but she always promptly responded, working everything out beautifully! Love this beautiful, unique venue!!! Couldn't imagine having our wedding anywhere else. Everything was perfect! The only issue we had was our coordinator, who let us know two days before the wedding that she wouldn't be there and someone else was assigned to us (but I don't blame the venue for that). From everything down to the rooms the bride and groom get ready in, they were simply perfect. Karen took care of my wedding party and guests, and she kept the whole evening going. We had selected Joel (DJ Offbeat) as our DJ- and I STILL have people saying how wonderful he was! The cake was by Lesleys Creative Cakes, and it was the most beautiful cakes we have ever seen. We upgraded to the Mexican menu with Chef Hung Lee of Gold Star Catering, and it was the best decision we made for the wedding. His chicken enchiladas were fantastic! I wish I could get married all over again to have my event back at the Windmill Winery. They are a class act. The prices are fair, and you truly get quality for what you pay for! The Windmill Winery is the perfect venue for anyone who is looking for the perfect wedding venue!! They helped take care of everything I was wanting!! My wedding day was perfect and a dream come true!! Karen is the best wedding coordinator in the entire world!! She helped and alleviate any stress I could have had on that day!! I loved everything apart of our wedding!! The venue is also very affordable for an all inclusive package!! The most affordable in the whole state!! I would recommend every bride have their wedding at the Windmill Winery!!

Having a summer wedding in AZ is no easy task. My wife and I didn't want a country club wedding, or an indoor hotel venue. After much searching and going to visit places we knew Windmill Winery was the place to be.

Florence AZ is not the nicest of towns, but the Windmill Winery is a gem there. Well worth the drive from Phoenix. We had our wedding ceremony outside and the reception in the barn. They did an amazing job setting up the venue so everything would be perfect.

The DJ the wedding provided was named Jermaine. Definitely request him! He was the best getting everyone at the reception into the dancing and having fun.

We loved every part of the venue. And the wine they make is great also!

This venue is one of a kind. Our guest had amazing things to say to us about how amazing the venue was. The staff was more than helpful and made sure that I got everything that I wanted and more on my wedding day. They're wine is a plus as well! Hopefully someone I know will have a wedding there so I can go back!! :)

Absolutely perfect wedding at the perfect venue!! It is even more beautiful in person than in the pictures!! Our coordinator Mitzi was so helpful making sure everything was taken care of and ran smoothly! She was quick to answer questions and so sweet and understanding! We used a package that included cake and DJ which were incredible and chose a featured florist at their open house that was wonderful! Everything was there, set up and on time! The also work with the local hotel that gave us a free room for the wedding night, a discount on room rates to all of our guests and shuttled us back and forth from the venue!! We were blown away and couldn't have dreamed of a better wedding! Thank you Windmill Winery!!!

The Windmill Winery is beautiful, although it's a little out of the way for some I would recommend going to see the property yourself! Pictures do not do the lake house (where I got married) justice! Shauna was our coordinator and made sure everything was perfect! I was able to call her and talk to her about anything I needed help with! She always made time and made sure I was happy! Day of the wedding she was everywhere at once and made sure my guests and I never wanted for anything. Not to mention the package is a deal. It includes a caterer, cake person, dj, security gaurd, and horse and carriage. Chef Ed was our chef and my guests have been praising his food like crazy! Our dj was Will and he kept the wedding super fun! Both of them are included in the package! Amazing overall. We love the winery and their staff!

We absolutely loved working with the staff at the Windmill Winery! Before we booked with them we heard nothing but great things and they were all true. Our coordinator worked with us the entire time and was always so helpful anytime I had questions. They were all so kind and worked well together with the DJ & Photographer on the day of wedding to have everything run seamlessly! Loved this venue & staff and would recommend this venue!!

I Love everything about this venue, We get married this December in the Lakehouse venue. All of our guests are from out of town, and this venue fits 50-75 perfectly without looking too empty, it's almost brand new and just a gorgeous venue/location. We are so excited to be married here. We looked at all types of golf clubs and ballroom venues in the city before stumbling across their website, and their all inclusive package is by far the most affordable and the best value for your money.
Shaunna is our wedding coordinator, she is a rockstar! This has all been so incredibly easy, our wedding day will be a breeze! Can't wait! And I highly recommend!

Having my wedding at the Windmill Winery was amazing! The owners and employees are the nicest people and they all do their very best to make sure everything is great for your wedding day. The grounds of the venue are gorgeous and there is amazing backgrounds for wedding pictures. I have recommended Windmill Winery to many of my friends and will continue too as well. They were amazing from start to end and the venue is so beautiful. My guests still talk to me about how great the venue was for our wedding and I am so glad I was able to spend my special day at Windmill Winery.

Choosing our venue was one of the easiest decisions we made. The Windmill Winery is gorgeous and they provide you with a highly professional wedding coordinator. We had Shauna who worked with our vendors and made the process extremely easy and smooth for us. Although, it is in Florence, the Windmill Winery is well worth the drive! My son's wedding AND rehearsal dinner was held at the Winery. It was truly unique and wonderful. I cannot even find the words that would do it justice. The setting was beautiful for all the events; the barn was large, well decorated and a great place to party. The disc jockey (Joel B, I believe) kept the pace of the party going until the very end. Family and friends were absolutely overwhelmed with how fabulous the evening was!!! Tana was so professional and efficient with every facet of the wedding planning and never minding my emails or phone calls!!!!!

My husband and I shopped for wedding venues for over a year. David (my husband and I) are a true story of opposites attracting, and we wanted to find a venue that represented not only the beauty of love but a place that could capture each of us and our uniqueness. We stumbled upon the Windmill Winery after a friend had held their wedding there. We couldn't have been more in awe. This venue was unlike either of us had ever seen. AS I always say it was my ultimate "pinterest" dream. I couldn't make an appointment to tour the venue fast enough. The day finally came to tour and Amanda (Windmill Winery employee) opened the Barn Doors and I cried. I knew this is where I would get married. We booked that day. I had 5 months to plan the most important day of my life. Shauna was assigned as my wedding coordinator and let me tell you, she was a GOD SEND! Her and the other awesome staff couldn't have made my job any easier. She always replied to any emails/calls etc super fast and always had great advice/ideas! The day of my wedding came and sadly it rained. I was crushed, but the windmill winery staff were so proactive to help me with what could have been disastrous. They made my wedding even better!!!!!!! If you are looking for a venue I highly recommenced having it here. The owners are amazing people, the staff are all so helpful. Its not just a wedding venue I feel like I am now part of a family. Plus they have great wine and there's nothing bad about that~

Everything was wonderful for our wedding on December 15, 2013 at the Big Barn. This was the first, and only, venue we even looked at! Although we did have some communication issues with our first coordinator, they ended up switching half way through the planning process and we finished out our time with Mitzi. She was wonderful! We also had DJ Joel Gibbs fulfill all of our musical needs and really got the guests excited about everything! We did not choose to go with the set menu that is included with their packages, but Chef Le was very helpful with creating a BBQ menu that fit us perfectly! All we can do is thank everyone for all their help with our wedding, and let them know they made our dreams come true! Thank you so much!

The Windmill Winery was a fantastic place to have my wedding and I couldn't be happier with how it turned out. My husband and I had the greatest day of our lives because of the great location, the great staff, and all of the amenities that was provided by the Windmill Winery. I just want to give a huge thanks to Karen our coordinator!!! She was amazing!! Without her I think this wedding process would of been a very stressful time instead it was one of the easiest processes I have went through :) The Winery is just beautiful!! The first time I saw pictures I knew it was where I wanted to get married. I do not regret my decision one bit!! The process of attending the open house to be able to try the food and cake, meet the DJs all at once definitely makes the process of getting married very easy :) even found our florist at the open house Sarah's Garden who was wonderful to work with and our flowers were absolutely beautiful! Our DJ Joel Gibbs was also great!!! He really kept everyone entertained even had guests ask for his information after the wedding for future weddings :) the catering company Gold Star Catering and Lesley's creative cakes were also amazing to work with everyone loved the food and cake! All of our guests told us it was one of the best weddings they have ever attended!!! Thank you again to everyone at the Windmill Winery and Karen for making our wedding night perfect! I had my wedding at The windmill winery this past weekend. I cannot say enough good things about the venue and those that work there. My wedding was a fairy tale come true. My family and friends say our wedding was the best they have been too. There is honestly not one slight negative thing that happened while working with The Windmill Winery for my wedding. Not one thing! They were so accommodating to my needs and desires I wanted for my dream day. All my needs and concerns were addressed professionally and quickly. They worked so well with my vendors as well. The property itself is so beautiful and unique in iteself. My guests were in awe. I can't thank them enough! My wedding planner Karen (provided by windmill) was extraordinary... We have become extremely close friends throghout this process. We exchanged over 100s of emails and phone calls. First, I fell in love with this place the moment I saw it. It was exactly what I had imagined when I pictured my wedding day. Our ceremony site was the twisted tree and then had the reception at the Big Barn. Both were gorgeous and well maintained. But most of all their staff was AMAZING! Everyone was very helpful and I could always email and call them if something came up. They kept the night flowing without a hitch. Shauna was my coordinator there and was so nice and helpful! There is no better place for a wedding than The Windmill Winery. Aside from it being gorgeous venue with a million different settings for photos, the staff is incredible. Our site coordinator, Karen Podrasky, did a phenomenal job and literally took the stress out of planning our wedding. Any time I had a question for her, she always responded in a very timely manner, she was always prepared and very professional, and I really got the sense that she loves her job and that I wasn't just another bride at the venue. I always felt as though my needs were her priority (even though she had several other brides to tend to, as October is a very busy wedding month for Arizona) and never felt as though I couldn't or shouldn't contact her. She is a joy to work with and we feel lucky to have had her as our coordinator. The vendors that work with the Winery are all fantastic as well. We opted for DJ Joel, who I would recommend a million times over. He is fun, professional, and really knows how to get the crowd going. He is very easy to work with and our guests continue to rave about him. The food from Chef Le at Gold Star Catering was so good we had guests going back for seconds. It was all prepared and displayed beautifully, and the staff was very attentive and accommodating. Lesley's Creative Cakes did an incredible job with our pies. They looked beautiful, tasted amazing, and it was a great alternative to cake, which the crowd loved.
If you're looking for an all inclusive venue that offers 5 star service, an incredible staff, and impressive views, then I can positively say the Windmill Winery is the venue you're looking for.

I couldn't believe how ABSOLUTELY PERFECT my wedding day way! I have been in several weddings and there are ALWAYS hiccups and issues that arise. Two weeks before the wedding, I had gotten incredibly worried because I wasn't getting responses from my coordinator. I then got a call from the owner, saying that she would personally be taking over my wedding, because for whatever reason my previous coordinator was no longer working there. My first reaction was to FREAK out, but Katie was amazing and clarified everything on the phone with me for the next hour or so and totally put my mind at ease.

Because of tight finances towards the day of the wedding, we opted to decorate ourselves, but the morning of the wedding, Katie text me early and said they had set up all the decor because I had dropped it off the Thursday before with notes about where stuff goes. I was thrilled! They even left up extra lights from the wedding the night before. The day of the wedding, several people who hadn't RSVP'd showed up, and they simply added more seating, and didn't charge us for anything extra, though they could have. Katie even helped calm my nerves right before walking down the aisle.

The venue was absolutely stunning!!! Everyone who attended said they'd never been to a wedding so fabulous. I can honestly say, not one thing went wrong and my day was an absolute dream. With the new lake house addition, I don't know how anyone could choose another place to get married. It is unlike any other venue in Arizona. If you're hesitating because of the location, DON'T! It's truly a hidden beauty located in small Florence. I wish there was more I could do than just highly review them!

My husband and I are currently living in Vancouver, BC but we wanted to have our wedding celebration back home in Arizona. Before we were even officially engaged, he found The Windmill Winery online and we were hooked! Unfortunately, we couldn’t attend any of the open houses since, well, we live 1500 miles away. But Katie, our coordinator, as well as Christina were so helpful with our questions and concerns. Our engagement was relatively short (5 months) so we weren’t entirely sure how the plans would come together on the day but the Windmill took great care of us! Our wedding was problem-free and it was truly a magical experience. Our guests were raving on the wedding day, saying that we picked a gem in the desert for our celebration and that it was the most fun at a wedding they had ever had. The kids especially enjoyed the carriage rides and I recommend adding the vintage car for your grand exit! My husband and I are confident that The Windmill Winery will be a premiere wedding venue in Arizona in years to come.

The Windmill Winery was the perfect place for our daughter's family style, homespun, summertime wedding. Even though it was to be one of the hottest days, we were blessed with an overcast sky (nice soft lighting for pictures) with a slight breeze in the late afternoon for a lovely twisted tree ceremony followed by reception in the big barn. Bliss, our onsite coordinator, was so pleasant to work with and made every effort to make our important day "seamless", which it was! For being the mother of the bride I couldn't believe how calm I felt.....not anxious in any way. I commend the proprietors of The Windmill for creating such a peaceful, serene atmosphere where life covenants are made and shared with family and friends. The recommended venders we used were: Mike and Brittany (Brushfire photography) such an encouraging couple working together as a team. Perry Sevey (video) worked well with photographers. Sarah (Sarah's wedding garden) decorated with the most beautiful flowers...so many compliments! Ron (Blue House Catering) and servers provided and transported delicious food and pies/cakes from Nicki (The Cup) for 200+ guests. The bartenders provided by the Winery did an excellent job in making our guests comfortable and satisfied. A big thank you to Ken Humphreys who provided our guests with carriage rides around the property and delivered the bride and groom for their grand entrance at the big barn.
In closing, I'd like to share the words of the bride as we embraced on the dance floor just before she left...... ...."thank you.....it was perfect....in every way".

I will always remember the first time we were at an open house and the owners were so sweet and personable. It was at that moment we were sold. Little did we know it would turn out to be even better than expected. Great hospitality, czarina was so helpful, accommodating, and as sweet as could be. The setting was so beautiful, yet laid back. We could not imagine a better day! Thanks from the bottom of my heart, I would 10000000000% recommend it and you will not be let down. Had our wedding at the Windmill in February. The venue was very versatile and worked with us on many different levels. We had a few particular things we wanted ordered/arranged and they were able to accommodate us and work with us without any hassle. The shuttle to/from the Holiday Inn was great! Our guests loved it!

Czarina was a wonderful coordinator who was always on top of it! She was very responsive and offered great advice and alternative decorations/setup/organization options.

The grounds were beautiful and we had perfect backdrops for our pictures!

From the first meeting with Christina we knew this place was going to be fantastic!!!! Very rustic feel to it and SO BEAUTIFUL!!! Once we were assigned Vanessa as our coordinator we were on our way... there were a few hiccups on the day of but just because of timing... everything worked out and our wedding went off with NO ISSUES AT ALL.
The Winery was very accomodating and all of our guests couldn't believe how beautiful it was there... who knew there was such an amazing location in Florence!!!
Thank you to Christina & Vanessa for making everything perfect for our wedding... the entire staff was great and I hope we can go back and see you guys for some more fun!!!

Although Florence is an unexpected destination for a wedding, the windmill winery itself is a gorgeous oasis. The windmill owners are extremely pleasant and welcoming. Czarina (our on-site coordinator) was on-point with every detail. We currently live in Sydney, Australia, and she was kind enough to Skype with us across continents to ensure that every aspect of our wedding would be covered. The Windmill works closely with local vendors and offer many options that make planning from afar a breeze. Caterer, check! DJ, check! Transportation, check!

The evening went smoothly and was such a dream. Guests were in awe of the surroundings and commented on how unique the venue is for a wedding. We would do it all over again!

We loved the winey. We wanted a venue that was outdoors, rustic, and somewhat layed back. Not a golf couse or resort wedding. The winery was perfect. It is so beautiful. Karen was our coordinator and was extremely helpful at keeping everything running smoothly.

We only had 44 days to plan the wedding due to our son-in-law being in the military. The Windmill had everything ready for us to choose once we had our date. The vendors all worked well together. The food was excellent, our caterer promised moist chicken and delivered. It is a beautiful venue that includes all you needs at an excellent price when you compare to trying to book everything individually. It saved us so much hassle. The best way to one stop wedding shop. Our wedding planner went above and beyond. Making sure she was always one step ahead. We were able to give our daughter her dream wedding without a hitch.

Loved everything about this venue not only was our wedding day perfect the staff where awesome and very helpful I would do it all over again just because everyone at the venue made everything so easy and fun for us thank you so much Windmill Staff :)

The Windmill Winery...what can I say? You would be making a mistake turning away from this beauty. I had heard of the Windmill through a friend who got married a few years back. I saw her pictures and fell in love immediately. I called them up and made an appointment. They did not make me wait and were SO accommodating for a time to meet. The moment we stepped on the Winery I knew I had found my perfect wedding day. The staff...oh the staff. I could go on forever talking about their kind hearts and patience. I dont think we brides understand what its like to accommodate a girl who is attempting to create her perfect day and let me tell you they did it! They're responses were quick and they always got back to you in a timely manner. Very professional but professionals who truly cared about making your day perfect. Their venders they provided were fabulous! Every bit of your money going into the Windmill is worth it. They provide so much for you. My wedding coordinator was Karen Podrasky and let me tell you, she became a friend. The patience this woman has is incredible and I adored her dearly through my whole engagement. My wedding happened quick, under 6 months and Karen was so flexible. She made everything for me so enjoyable. I was never stressed and the decision making seemed like a piece of cake. Overall, The Windmill Winery will always remain in my heart. The day will be perfect to you no matter what because it is your day, BUT the venue plays a very big part. You cannot beat the atmosphere here and I couldn't have asked for a better venue. It was truly the perfect day and I guarantee it will be yours as well.

Planning a wedding is a HUGE endeavor, and unless you have the right people in place to help you pull the thousand and one details together to create one flowing, magical day... you're in trouble! We were so fortunate to hire the Windmill Winery to do just that!!! Our daughter's wedding was August 4, 2012...yup...the hottest time of the year in Arizona...but that didn't stop this venue from delivering a near perfect day to us! Karen, our wedding coordinator, took the heat in stride and forged ahead during our wedding rehearsal in 97 degree weather with a smile, making sure everyone knew where to be and when. My husband & I had just traveled 7 hours from California the day before and when we had arrived in Arizona and had dropped off some items at the venue, we still needed to make an hour trip to our decorators home to drop off additional items. Without hesitation, Karen happily volunteered to take these items to our decorator herself, saving us a few more hours in the car...we were sooo grateful!!! Talk about going above and beyond the call of duty!! The day of the actual wedding, Karen was here, there and everywhere, making sure every detail was running smoothly...and it did!!! We thoroughly enjoyed getting to know the owner of this venue...so warm, kind, and welcoming. The venue itself is just charming and completely fit the bill for our daughter's "Burlap & Lace Vintage Wedding". Thank you again to all at the Windmill Winery who played a part in making this a fairytale wedding for my daughter!!
