The Whispering Oaks Estate Reviews

We had an intimate wedding at The Whispering Oaks Estate (around 30 guests). This venue was absolutely beautiful! It blew us away right when we drove onto the property. The house can sleep up to 25 people, so all of our guest who traveled from out of town were able to stay onsite for the entire weekend! We also rented the “reception venue” for the night of our wedding, and that was the best decision we could’ve made. The owners were INCREDIBLE to work with--extremely responsive and accommodating to our wedding weekend. Highly recommend, you won't be disappointed!

The Whispering Oaks Estate set up is an ideal wedding venue, or even just a place to hang out with family and friends. Everything from the house, and guest house, to the beautiful yard with the trees and the pool made for a gorgeous wedding.

The house itself is gorgeous and the property it is on is even prettier. Included at this venue is use of all of the outdoor space (you can choose where you want your ceremony), an event space (kind of like a fancy garage), a guest house and a main house that in total sleep 25 people. We rented the venue Thursday-Sunday. We had a whole weekend of fun! The kids swam in the pool, I was able to set everything up the day before and tear down the day after, all adults had their own private space and the kids got to share a big “loft” space with plenty of beds for each of them. Everything there is so picturesque and the photos turned out amazing. Porsha (the owner) was really easy to work with and even gave us early check in and late check out because of a tiny error on her side. Unfortunately our pup wasn’t allowed but that is because there are longhorns on the property. We loved getting to see them and watching the baby longhorns play with each other. This venue made for a peaceful and fun wedding weekend!

We rented this home for 2 nights. It is absolutely beautiful! It comfortably fit my entire (immediate) family along with my husbands. The owners are very professional and walk you through everything at arrival. I was able to set up all my own decor as well as the tables and chairs that the owners kindly let me borrow. It turned out gorgeous! I’m so glad I chose the Whispering Oaks as my ceremony and reception location.
