Dream Come True Wedding!

Our wedding at The Westin Riverfront in Avon was an absolute dream come true! The venue is stunning, the ceremony backdrop, cocktail hour setting, and dinner space were all so beautiful and created the perfect atmosphere for our day.

The staff went above and beyond, always attentive and kind to us and to our guests. We are so happy we chose to get married here and couldn’t have imagined a more beautiful place to celebrate.

Amazing Amazing Amazing

I don't even know where to begin! The Westin Riverfront was such a fantastic place to have our wedding. Rachel, our main contact leading up to the wedding and the day of the wedding, was so great. She was able to keep all of the details of our wedding straight and her organization was awesome. She made recommendations for the structure of the rehearsal dinner, welcome drinks, and wedding itself so that everything was smooth for all the events. We had our rehearsal dinner at Stoke & Rye restaurant - the food and service was amazing. Our wedding ceremony and reception were held at the Westin Riverfront as well. The scenery is unmatched - the backdrop for our wedding is so phenomenal. Our guests loved the fact that everything was at the Westin Riverfront, yet all events were held in different areas of the resort. I would highly recommend!

My forever favorite place ❤️

I cannot say enough good things about the Westin! Their staff is absolutely fabulous. Elizabeth was our event planner for our wedding and she is an actual angel!!! She thought of every single detail down to the teaspoons on the table for coffee. I seriously love her and the entire Westin staff. They made my husband and I feel like there was no where else they would rather be than serving us and helping us create the most special day.

Having our guests stay at our location was so amazing. It really made our whole weekend so wonderful being able to spend time with our guests before the big day. We had our rehearsal dinner at the Maya restaurant in the lobby as well. Then on our wedding day you go straight from the wedding lawn to the cocktail area on the patio and then into the ballroom for dinner! It was an actual dream.

Flawless wedding venue!

The Westin was our venue for our wedding. Not only are the surrounding Mountain views breathtaking, but the service and hospitality were world-class. All our guests were impressed with the venue and we were impressed with Lauren’s (event planner at the Westin) efforts and commitment to making our day perfect!

Lauren McIntosh (wedding coordinator) was personable, easy to reach, professional, and dedicated. I had to plan the entire wedding from the east coast by phone and emails, and she made it manageable and the wedding event turned out exactly how I envisioned it. One downside is the ballroom itself. The ceiling is low, and the room is very basic (no art work, no chandelier, and just basic dim lights). You will have to hire an outside vendor and decorate the room quite a bit (which I didn't to minimize the cost).

We had an INCREDIBLE experience working with The Westin for our wedding. Lauren was extremely attentive to our questions/needs and such a pleasure to work with leading up to our wedding. During our wedding weekend, I couldn't have been happier with the service we received. The valet team, the front desk (especially Mike and Tabby), the housekeeping staff, were all amazing. Our wedding food was great! We received so many compliments about the food and service. We were blown away with how the weekend went and we can't thank you enough for making our wedding weekend so memorable. We truly can't recommend The Westin enough. If you are planning to have a wedding in Beaver Creek, please take some time to speak with Lauren and Beth. You will not be disappointed! We can't wait to come back for other events/vacations! We knew we were in good hands, but what the Westin staff delivered was beyond every expectation. My husband and I held our wedding at the Westin Riverfront Resort and Spa at the Beaver Creek Mountain in June and it was absolutely amazing! We could have not wished for a better venue. We had our ceremony on the wedding lawn with a gorgeous backdrop of the Beaver Creek Mountain. Our reception was in the Riverside ballroom with floor to ceiling windows that open up to a terrace with romantic bistro lights and with even more gorgeous views of the mountains. Absolutely dreamy!
Beth Olson was the best! From the beginning she was professional, attentive, organized, and patient and went above and beyond to accommodate all of our special requests. Her experience in coordinating major events was evident and she helped us greatly to make our big day PERFECT and worry free. On the day of the wedding Beth Olson and Lauren Mackintosh (the day-of coordinator) worked quietly behind the scenes to take care of our every wish. We forgot to bring props for a special wedding custom. Before we had a chance to panic, Beth and Lauren had already found a replacement and had it ready for us to use. The entire event staff was SO accommodating with us, helping us with every detail.
Food was outstanding. A true star of the night. Our guests are still raving how great the dinner was. They were also very flexible and came up with delicious options for guests with dietary restrictions.
My sister did my makeup, but I was able to get pre-wedding pampering and hair done in the Spa Anjali. Gabrielle worked fast and did magic to my hair. I felt like a princess.
Many of our guests stayed at the Westin for 3 nights and we heard nothing but great things about the rooms, food, staff and amenities. Everyone felt welcomed and had a great time. It was so convenient to return to our rooms after a long night of dancing. Thank you Westin Riverfront for making our wedding a dream come true.

As a local of Avon, Colorado, I knew I had great choices in reception venues. However, because my husband and I met at the Westin years ago, we thought it would be special to have our reception here. Boy, were we right! Beth Olson and her staff made sure no stone went unturned. We had many questions and requests, and Beth saw to it that everything was clearly addressed and carried out perfectly. We had more people comment that our reception was one of the best and most fun receptions they had ever attended...this includes hotel guests who commented on the "fun party" they heard going on downstairs. They said they were extremely tempted to crash, ha! The venue is so beautiful and diverse, with an expansive lobby area outside the ballroom, a large ballroom with floor to ceiling windows, an enchanting (and spacious) patio with bistro lights and a wedding lawn...all overlooking the Eagle River and Beaver Creek. What more could you want?! We had passed and stationed appetizers and everyone was raving about the food. They made sure to accommodate our bar requests, specifically, locating and offering a specific bourbon, that my Kentucky-raised father was adamant about. Beth Olson was patient, fun and offered great insight and advice. We were thrilled to come to our complimentary wedding night suite to see a chilled bottle of champagne from her. That was the icing on the cake to an incredible wedding, we and our families/guests will NEVER forget! Thank you, team Westin!

The location at The Westin is beautiful! The wedding lawn over looks the Eagle River, and the setting is just stunning. The Westin made planning a wedding a breeze. Jessica went above and beyond to help us, she helped us set up all our other vendors and was helpful is getting all those vendors going the day of the wedding. She also made plenty of suggestions on food and was very patient with us as we really took our time making decision. Also, The Westin's food was amazing! Our plated dinner was beyond delicious and so perfect for the evening. The staff there treated me like a queen and always kept our drink full. Overall the entire event from start to finish was amazing and I would definitely recommend The Westin

24 hours plus, after the wedding, we realized my something old had been thrown out with the trash amidst all the fun. Jessica was quick to hunt it down, in a dumpster, and saved a priceless gold pin from my late grandmother from being lost forever. She and the Westin crew exceeded our expectations, and created stress-free wedding planning experience. We were also their very first request for s’mores instead of cake, and they were perfect. It was too fun watching our guests socialized while they roasted marshmallows outside with a stunning view. Our guests continue to comment on how beautiful the venue is, and are still RAVING about the food! We could not have asked for a better day!

Fabulous venue!! After considering several venues for my daughter's May 30th wedding, we chose the Riverfront Westin and could not have been happier! This is a first class resort with lots of on-site amenities (heated salt-water pool, infinity hot tubs, restaurants, spa, salon and workout room) for your guests to enjoy! The convenience of having the wedding at the venue where everyone was staying was also a big plus. No one had to drive anywhere and at the end of the night, they just had to take the elevators up to their rooms. We worked with Beth Olson, the event manager. who helped us work out all of the details and is your day-off coordinator. She was such a pleasure to work with and it was so reassuring knowing she was handling all of the details, especially on the day of the wedding! The ceremony was outdoors on their wedding lawn with the river and mountains as a backdrop. It was absolutely gorgeous! Cocktail hour was on their private patio just above the wedding lawn and directly outside of the ballroom. The ballroom has floor to ceiling windows that look at the mountains and doors that open up onto the patio. With the help of our florist, Rose Braden, the ballroom space was absolutely beautiful! The size of the dance floor was perfect and allowed plenty of room for dancing. The food was superb and the pastry chef did a fantastic job with the wedding cake. I had several guests confess to having more than one piece of cake! I also have to mention that the entire staff at the Westin could not have been more welcoming and accommodating to us and our guests. Everyone had a fabulous time and I can not thank them enough for making our daughter's wedding perfect in every way!!

My husband and I got married at The Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa in August 2014. It was everything we could have ever hoped for! My mom and I checked out several other potential mountain venues, but it was pretty much love at first sight with The Westin. The resort is spacious and elegant but not pretentious. We also fell in love with Jessica the wedding coordinator. She was knowledgeable, enthusiastic and just pleasant to be around. This is key when you will be working so closely with someone for nearly a year! Although wedding planning is inherently stressful, I truly believe things went as smooth as possible due to the professionalism of everyone at The Westin. Even when rain threatened to push our ceremony indoors, The Westin team remained positive and was able to react at the last minute when the sun came out to ensure our ceremony and cocktail hour would be outside on the gorgeous lawn overlooking the river. The food was excellent and we had a great setup for a live band. Lastly, one of the best things about having our wedding at The Westin was the stellar deal they gave us for the room block. It made a big deal to our guests and we were very grateful!

My husband and I got married at the Westin Riverfront Resort and Spa on July 19, 2014. I would highly recommend this venue for both the ceremony and reception space. I've highlighted a few reasons we loved this venue that I think will be helpful for couples beginning their venue search:
1. Location - The Westin is at the base of Beaver Creek. This not only makes for beautiful views and photos, but our guests were able to make the trip into a weekend vacation. There are endless things to do in the area including Vail Village, Beaver Creek Village, fly fishing, hiking, horseback riding, etc. S
2. Uncomplicated - I don't remember being involved in anything the day of the wedding. Much of the wedding was provided by the Westin, but they also provide a day-of coordinator who works with you throughout the planning stages and handles coordination with outside vendors. Beth was wonderful to us. She held ~15 boxes and my dress in her office as we had to ship a lot of items. She and her team also worked with the florist to resolve an issue stabilizing the arbor without my knowledge allowing us a stress-free morning to enjoy getting ready with family and friends.
3. Great Photography Opportunities - The Westin has so many great places for the day-of pictures. Not only was the ceremony space (the Wedding Lawn) beautiful, but there were so many other outdoor areas (river, field, running path lined with trees) that we were able to capture beautiful photos to remember the day.
4. Food - The quality and presentation of cocktail hour and dinner was wonderful, the cakes were both gorgeous and delicious, and they were flexible with us when deciding the menus to accommodate guests with dietary restrictions.
We are so happy we chose to have our wedding at the Westin. It was truly an unforgettable experience for us and for our guests. If you're looking for a beautiful venue that will provide an easy wedding planning experience and a stress-free day, I recommend the Westin.

The Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa is one of my very favorite wedding venues! I am the owner of Gemini Event Planning and have personally coordinated over a dozen weddings at this fabulous resort. The ambience is all Westin - clean, fresh, and new with incredible views of Beaver Creek from the ballroom, restaurant, guest rooms and lobby. My brides (and their guests) enjoy the world class spa, restaurants and location in the heart of Avon and Beaver Creek. The staff is incredible. I can count on Jessica to take care of my brides throughout the planning, and Victor to execute the perfect riverfront ceremony and wedding reception. This venue has it all in one great package. Wish I could give the staff, food and venue 6 stars!

The The Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa at Beaver Creek Mountain is one of my absolute favorite venues. Its absolutely beautiful with lots of photography options. Not to mention it is very reasonably priced.

The coordinators are there for you and work their little tails off to make sure your day is perfect! I would recommend any and every bride to have their mountain wedding here!!!!

My husband and I got married at the Westin Riverfront Resort during Memorial Day weekend 2011 and it was such a wonderful experience! My parents had stayed here during a visit to Colorado a couple years ago and raved about how nice it was, so when we started planning our wedding I sent the hotel an email asking for more information. Meredith Brewer, the AMAZING event coordinator at the Westin, wrote back to me right away and by the end of the week I had the details on pricing, food and drinks, hotel amenities, the spa, etc. (She continued to be just as responsive and organized throughout the whole process, which any bride-to-be will appreciate!) We visited a few weeks later and fell in love with the hotel and the view. While we had a few concerns about our budget, Meredith helped us find affordable options and referred us to great vendors for music, flowers and party rentals. Speaking of affordable, they give you and your guests a very generous break on rooms - all our guests stayed at the hotel for the weekend and are still raving about how awesome it is! The wedding day itself came together perfectly: the view from the lawn included river rapids, trees with new green leaves and snow lingering on the Beaver Creek ski runs. The ballroom was set up beautifully, the food and cake were delicious, the bartenders were fun and friendly...and best of all, we didn't have to worry about a thing as Meredith coordinated everything for that day. We couldn’t have been happier with our wedding experience at the Westin Riverfront Resort and it will always be a special place for us – I can’t wait to go back!

The wedding planner, staff, food and venue at the Westin Riverfront were all great! The location is beautiful and people raved about the food - several said it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding. Everything is made to order - not made ahead of time and put under a heat lamp. I am kind of a nutrition nut and have several friends and family with gluten allergies - the Westin had many, many options that fit those criteria, including even gluten free bread. In addition, the pastry chef worked with me in developing a "healthier" version of our pumpkin spice and ginger wedding cakes. In addition, she even went out of her way to make us an additional cake that was gluten-free and vegan.

They also were great about setting everything up - including chair covers and bows, tablecloths, and even a stage that we rented from elsewhere. They also took all of those down at the end of the night and prepared them for pickup from the rental place - services that a wedding planner wanted to charge us $2,000 for.

The ballroom is gorgeous and is almost all glass on the side facing the mountains. We looked at another ritzy hotel in the area and the ballroom did not have one window - it felt very closed in and boxy. Why have your wedding in the mountains if you can't even see them? We looked at several other venues in the area and really think the Westin can't be beat in the Vail Valley.

We had our reception at the Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa. It could not have been handled more perfectly. Kelly Hansen was a joy to work with along the way. The food and service were amazing at the reception. They planned a separate kids' event for us to allow the parents to enjoy the reception while their chilren were engaged with games, etc. through the Westin Kids' Club. It was a huge success. Most of our guests stayed at the Westin too and raved about how beautiful the facility was. I also think the overall event, including the rates we negotiated for the guestrooms, were an excellent value for the money. We could not have been happier with the overall experience.

Lauren and The Westin Riverfront were absolutely PERFECT for our May wedding this year! Once we saw the surroundings of the wedding lawn and the ballroom at The Westin we were hooked, and set our date immediately! Lauren was incredible from the first email I sent requesting information to the day of where it seemed like she was everywhere all at once! The final weeks before our wedding she was transferred to another location temporarily and even then was very prompt with communication and kept us informed of everything along the way. I literally cannot imagine having our wedding anywhere else and our guests (mostly from out of town) were BLOWN away by how beautiful the scenery and hotel was. Our wedding was EVERYTHING we wanted it to be and we know it could not have turned out that way without the location at The Westin and the hard work Lauren puts in!

I just had my wedding at The Westin Riverfront on August, 1st, 2015, and it was spectacular! I chose the location because the entire day was all in one spot, with start of the day downstairs at their beautiful salon, to the pictures before up our room. The Director of Events, Beth Olson was so helpful, and so prompt on returning emails during the planning process. They set up the reception exactly has I imagined, and everything went off without even the smallest hitch. Beth was there the entire time instructing, and helping with even the smallest things during the event, and throughout the entire planning process. I would recommend The Westin Riverfront to any bride looking for her special day to be just perfect :)

Loved Beth, she was amazing! Her easy-going personality really fit in with ours and made us feel relaxed about the whole thing. The venue was everything I ever dreamed of, the location, the setting, the food, the staff. Such a memorable experience!

Outstanding! The Westin is an unbelievable venue for a wedding ceremony/reception. Their Event Coordinator, Meredith Brewer, is truly unbelievable. I planned my wedding from Texas and she couldn't have made it easier. Each bride has their choice of vendors, which Meredith provides, and she and the Westin pretty much do the rest for you. They pay close attention to detail and execute with years of experience and perfection. We hosted our rehearsal dinner, wedding ceremony, wedding reception, and farewell brunch all with the Westin. Every single event was better than we expected and our guests have been raving about it every since! I highly recommend this venue to anyone getting married in Colorado.

We had both our ceremony and reception at the Westin, and everything was amazing! Meredith, the wedding coordinator is a huge asset here and makes everything flawless. The food is the best food you will ever have at a wedding, and they give you really good deals for your guests to stay there (and the Westin is a wonderful place to stay for your guests.) We used their pastry chef for our cake; I brought a picture in of my dream cake and he was excited to make it happen and our guests raved about it. They even plate it up with sorbet and sauces for your guests. On top of all that, they offer the bride and groom a free stay with them on your first anniversary month. We can't wait to go back.

Our wedding reception at Maya restaurant in the Westin was absolutely perfect. Lauren Mackintosh was a pleasure to work with throughout the planning process and was a fantastic day-of coordinator. The views are beautiful and all of the amenities at the hotel make it a perfect wedding location. I was able to have my hair and makeup done by the hotel spa, and the wedding party and all of our guests enjoyed staying there. The hotel was very accommodating with our room block which provided a great rate for our guests. The location of the Westin is perfect; it is at the base of the mountain with incredible views, and there are many restaurants within walking distance.

The Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa in Beaver Creek was a beautiful site for our wedding weekend. We had a very small wedding (45 people), and it was so great to have all of our guests staying in the same hotel and able to enjoy all of the activities we planned around Beaver Creek and Vail for the weekend. Despite there being three other weddings that weekend, with ours being by far the smallest, the hotel staff was extremely attentive to our wedding party and guests, and made our wedding feel every bit as important as the others. We had some weather on the day of the wedding, and the staff was great about checking in with us and being flexible in moving everything around. Fortunately the sun came out at the last minute and we were able to enjoy an outdoor ceremony as we had hoped. Jessica is a fantastic resource at the Westin for event planning, and she really made the whole weekend run smoothly. We had the Westin cater our cocktail hour and reception, and the food was superb - all of our guests were impressed, and I was so pleased to have all of the food served at the same time, hot and prepared to order (very rare for weddings).

Our ceremony was at the Beaver Creek Chapel, but our rehearsal dinner, reception, and "hangover brunch" were all the Westin and we couldn't be happier with the Westin and the staff.

Both my husband and I got the 3 - bedroom suites for our bridal party. One overlooked the creek and hot tub area, the other overlooked the pool. Both had balconies, a full kitchen, 3 showers, and full length mirrors in the bedroom closets, enabling our large, and fabulous bridal party to get ready efficiently and comfortably.

Throughout the planning process, we worked with Jessica Gillespie, the Westin's Catering and Event Manager, and she was excellent. She strived to make it the best day for my husband and I. She was highly responsive. Regardless of our requests, she found an answer. She returned our messages/ questions/ concerns within a day, making us feel that our wedding and our concerns were important.
There was another wedding the night before ours, yet we never felt constrained, limited, or second in line. In fact, most of our families' and friends were completely unaware there was another wedding.

The Westin staff treated us like royalty, from housekeeping, to the bartenders and waitstaff in the Maya, to the receptionists and masseuses at Anjali Spa.
The day after, we realized we did not get any cake as we were busy dancing and it was all eaten (yes, it was that good), and we called Jessica to see if we could get some. The kitchen not only made us another one but the housekeeping held it in the kitchen's fridge when we realized we forgot it several hours after we left for Denver ( I know, I know, we had a lot on our minds).

When we needed extra room keys, the front desk was always accommodating. When we needed extra parking for our get - away car, valet figured out how to make room. We had very last minute requests, and they were accommodated.

The Westin offered us everything we asked for, and we are still getting compliments.

The Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa at Beaver Creek Mountain is a stunning property, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a place to host their wedding.

My husband and I were married in July. We had already booked the Beaver Creek wedding deck for our ceremony, otherwise we probably would have taken advantage of the Westin's riverfront lawn to hold our ceremony. Instead, we held our reception here, and asked our guests to stay here as well.

We worked with Jessica to set everything up. She was very helpful and patient with our millions of questions. She walked us through the different catering packages, and set up our tasting while we were in town. Due to the small size of our wedding, we were bumped around from ballroom to ballroom during the planning phase, but in the end, they gave us the ballroom facing the river which worked out perfectly. The weather was perfect for our party to have cocktails on the patio, with the gorgeous view of the mountains and the river.

Because we hosted our reception here, we were given a complimentary suite on our wedding night. The hotel itself and the rooms are lovely. Modern with rustic touches. The staff is also very friendly and accommodating.

Based on our travels, I would say this is one of the nicest Westins, probably in the country, and a lovely place to host your big day!

Professional, organized, and beautiful

My husband and I were married here on January 5th. The wedding coordinator, Lauren, was always very organized and professional. The venue was absolutely stunning and the banquet coordinator accommodated all of our requests the day of the wedding. Our wedding guests were in aw of how beautiful our wedding was. The food was absolutely incredible, and we had dozens of compliments about the dinner. The bartenders were so friendly on the night of the wedding, and they really made our shot ski super fun! The only downfall of this venue was they nickel and dime you for every addition. Nick and I spend a healthy amount of money to be married here, and then they wouldn’t even allow us to bring our own food into the conference room where we got ready. We had to purchase the food through the Westin (which is not cheap). Overall, our day was amazing and we could not have chosen a better destination venue. We will always remember our wedding and I’m so happy we chose the Westin as our ceremony and reception site!

The Westin Riverfront has a number of great employees. But not all of them by any means. The Valet/Bell guys are excellent, full of great info and always helpful and upbeat. The building is exceptionally good and the suites/apartments outstanding with excellent facilities and fixtures. You can easily create a home-from-home here. However I wouldn't say this is a good choice for a wedding venue and I consider most people with something special in mind for their ceremony will be left disappointed. Intimate it is definitely NOT.

Spectacular setting.
And once the day of came around, everything worked out perfectly. We struggled mostly with the planning stages and having to double check many times that things were done as we asked. The salon/spa was the most challenging as they messed up our scheduling more than once and even once we arrived still didn't have it all planned and scheduled correctly.
The food was absolutely amazing!
Overall, we loved this venue and its amenities.

I would not recommend The Westin for your wedding. We had our wedding there this past June, and if it wasn't for our wedding planner from outside the Westin, our wedding would not have gone well.We had many issues with The Westin from the start, but I will just highlight a few as I could spend the whole day writing about all the issues we had and this gives a limit as to how much you can write. Since the beginning, they nickel and dime for everything. They want to charge $150 for tasting the hor d'oeuvres and made it abundantly clear that if we wanted more than the two of us doing the tasting it would be another $75 a person. This continued on with everything else up until the wedding. We even called and spoke with the Hotel Manager in which nothing was really resolved. Now fast forwarding to the wedding. They screwed up alot of our family's rooms and even booked my dad into our room. Many of our guests were charged different rates and were given dirty rooms, which then caused them to wait longer for a "clean room". The day of our wedding, the maid service never showed up to clean our room and we had to finally ask our wedding planner to help get someone to clean our room since we were doing our marriage license signing on our patio. Also, during our wedding and even before not once did we ever receive simple thank-you for choosing us and during the wedding no one from the Westin ever came down to congratulate us. We also had some hotel employees crash our wedding and were stupid enough to have a picture taken in our photo booth, for which we now have picture of them to show the management. The management from the beginning were fully aware of how upset we were and the problems that happened and never called to apologize.The Westin is very unprofessional, disorganized, and doesn't give a flip about your wedding because they do enough weddings where they don't need to care, as we were also told that as well.
