Wedding Review

Mr. and Mrs. Nelson are the sweetest people ever! They literally went above and beyond for our wedding. From Mrs. Nelson giving my mother a break and running our ceremony. Making sure we all walk in accordingly into the ceremony. To even adjusting our dresses and hair so we were all picture ready. Mr. Nelson shared beautiful words and even personalized it to make more about us and our background/culture. All of our guest could not stop talking about how beautiful the ceremony was! Highly recommend their services! You don’t want to miss out on these kind people they really resemble the meaning of love and long time unity! My husband and I look up to them a lot.

The best !

I love that he took the time and met with us to make sure he can personalize the service to fit us as a couple. His words were perfect and his tone of voice is comforting. He helped us with our nervousness and made sure to remember the timeline. I highly recommend him!

He takes the time to get to know you and is a wonderful and Godly man. His wife is as genuine as he is. Wonderful experience!

My now husband and I planned on having a close friend marry us but he became ill and wasn't able to, so I turned to looking for someone. I read a lot of reviews and was very hesitant to hire a complete stranger for our wedding day. I submitted a request with The Wedding Preacher and almost instantly received a reply with answers to my questions. LoraLea Nelson called and emailed to touch base and set up an appointment to meet her. Let me just say, she is an amazing woman! Super nice, friendly, diligent and truly listens to how you want your wedding day! She's the type of person that after meeting you feel like you've been friends for years. She even personalized our vows and really made the ceremony even better than I could have imagined.

Our wedding day was absolutely PERFECT thanks to the wedding Preacher. Gordon did an amazing job he definitely set the mood during the ceremony. We are so blessed that he married me and my husband. Not only was his message amazing but also he wanted to get to know me and husband before he married us and we love that he did. His messages was everything we wanted and more! The preacher & his sweet wife were a great help. I happened to somehow go down the aisle without the grooms ring and the preacher stepped right in and just so happened to have one as an extra. Lol. Great couple! Great job!

Gordon is such a treat to work with. We got so many compliments on our ceremony and what a great job Gordon did. Him and Lora Lea are such sweet and genuine people. He can talk about love so well because he has experienced a lifetime of it and that is evident. I highly recommend Gordon, he really shaped our whole ceremony and we are so grateful to him for that.

Laura Lee was just the sweetest and made us feel comfortable. She's very personable and takes the time to get to know you as a couple. My now husband asked Laura if she could make the ceremony quick given the fact that our ceremony was held outside in 105-110 degree weather. She kept it short but very memorable.

We knew right away when we spoke to Mr Gordon Nelson that he would be perfect! His mannerism, he was very attentive and cared about what we wanted . Very country feel to him and exactly what we wanted as we had a rustic themed wedding. We could feel he was genuine with every word that came from him and he made our celebration even MORE memorable as Everyone Loved him and complimented on what a heartfelt blessing he gave to our special day! I would absolutely recommend Mr. Nelson to anyone who wants to have a truly blessed service and give your guests a feeling of renewal themselves! I can’t thank them enough
for his awesome services!

We couldn't have asked for a better preacher for our wedding. We needed last minute service and flexibility due to the unique arrangements my husband and I made for our weeding day. LoraLea Nelson went above and beyond our expectations. The ceremony she performed at the end of the 15k my husband ran at Fair Park was beautiful! She remembered to add extra special wording at our request and sealed our union with perfection. We were so pleased and would recommend her to anyone looking for someone to officiate their wedding. The family members that attended our wedding loved her too.

Gordon was great! We really enjoyed having him as our officiant. During our reception many people asked how long we had known him as they thought that we must have known him for years. They were all shocked to hear that we had only met with him a few times prior to the wedding. He made the ceremony personal and the perfect length. We also threw in a last minute request for our ceremony the day of our wedding and he went with it! We would highly recommend Gordon as an officiant.

Lora Lea Nelson did our ceremony and it was amazing! We got several compliments from the guests at our wedding and she was very easy to work with. She took the time and met up several months before the wedding in order to get to know us on a more personal level. She attended the rehearsal and really customized our ceremony. I would definitely recommend.

Gordon was a great officiant. He is nice and friendly and wanted our day to go the way we want it to. He listens and takes in all information and opinions to make the day go as plan. My sister used him for her wedding a few years before, so I knew beforehand he would be good.

Gordon and Lora Lea are very experienced and great at what they do! The day of the ceremony they took the time to coordinate the DJ and wedding party to make sure the ceremony ran smoothly. All of our guests commented on how great of an officiant Gordon is. We would definitely recommend him!

Wow, what a beautiful and long lasting experience we had with this lovely couple. It was easy to discern the love of God flowing in their words and persona. They conducted the ceremony with joy, and such a grace I've haven't witnessed in any other similar settings.
The genuineness of their ministry and kindness was a plus we didn't expect. How sweet.

Lora Lea was awesome, I researched a lot of ministers and was undecided. What made me choose her was that she was very understanding as to what I kind of ceremony I wanted. I felt my ceremony was unique and my guest complimented me for her service. She also took the time to take pictures and send them. Do not look any further this lady is a professional.

Rev. Gordon the Wedding Preacher was wonderful, organized and extremely caring. He was flexible with potential date changes due to my being in car accident. We were able to get married as planned and he prayed with us on several occasions for healing.
He included personal details in the ceremony and he was super efficient in filing papers and sending us a couple of pictures.
We feel blessed to have him officiate our wedding ceremony and join us in the Holy Covenant of lifetime love and marriage.

Lora was great at our wedding! I was really nervous about the ceremony and what I was supposed to know and do when I got up to the alter, but Lora completely guided us through the whole thing and really made the ceremony something special. I highly recommend!

Before the wedding, she worked with us to fine tune our ceremony so that we would have a beautiful wedding at the Japanese Gardens with picturesque moments. In the ceremony, she artfully incorporated the Japanese Garden elements such as water, pruned trees, and the gravel garden and talked about how they relate to love and relationships - ultimately, she really made the ceremony fit for us and the location. Overall, she did a wonderful job and I fully recommend her!

We felt so at ease with Lora Lea. You can tell when you meet her that she loves what she does. Our marriage was simple just the bride and groom. She made the ceremony very personalized. She even took pictures of us together afterward.

We met Gordon and his wife at the Orchards open house. They both are caring and sincere and a great couple. During our ceremony he was very passionate and makes it very personal. Gordon was outstanding! I contacted him a few months prior to the wedding after a prior minister fell through and he responded by calling me a few hours later that very night! When we met with him for the initial meeting, we felt comfortable with him immediately. He put us at ease with everything related to the ceremony and adjusted the ceremony as changes came up throughout the planning process. He traveled from Dallas to Waco to perform our ceremony, which we were very thankful for! Everything went smoothly during the ceremony and it was exactly how we pictured it! We are so glad we chose Gordon to be our wedding officiant!

My wife found Gordon and set everything up for us. He kept in touch with her in the days leading up to our special day. The night before our wedding he called to make sure he had all of the details for a perfect turnout. We actually ran about an hour and a half late, but when we called him earlier in the morning to tell him of our sudden change in plans he was able to quickly and happily accommodate our schedule. The ceremony was beautiful and he made us feel very comfortable! We would definitely recommend!

Beautiful home, I was nervous when I entered to make a huge life change but as soon as we entered their home I felt relaxed and welcomed. Very nice and professional couple that enjoys doing ceremonies. We shared stories and I learned the meaning behind the wedding band. I have been to a lot of weddings over the past year (including my own) and can honestly say that Gordon is the best officiant I have seen. We used him for our wedding and he truly made the ceremony so heartfelt and sweet. He and his wife, Lora, are two of the sweetest people you will ever meet and they really care about their couples. Gordon took the time to meet with us before the wedding, learn what we wanted in our ceremony, and everyone in our family and wedding party's names. It was a really sweet touch that he mentioned how long both of our parents had been married. He is really funny and calms any nerves you may have on the big day. We cannot recommend The Wedding Preacher highly enough!

Gordon was amazing! He truly wants to get to know you (and what you're planning for your special day) and not just show up to perform the ceremony. From the first phone call through the completion of the ceremony, he did everything possible to make me feel comfortable.
