I knew this was the place I wanted to get married when I first saw the pictures of the venue. I emailed Donna she was great, friendly and responsive. We made an appointment to view the venue, we booked and got married 16 days later in a small elopement ceremony. The cake was delicious and flowers were beautiful Donna went above and beyond all expectations, making our special day stress free and beautiful. Donna made us feel at home, and was absolutely amazing to work with. Our wedding was exactly what I had imagined from beginning to end.

This venue was beautiful! Donna was easy to work with and flexible to meet our requirements for our special day. Her yard was well manicured, she did not forget to turn off the sprinklers, and her bridal dressing room is so charming I actually was able to relax while getting ready. She has a nice, out of the way place for guest toilets and a separate space for caterers to prep that is out of sight from the guests. Her cherry orchard made a wonderland setting for our italian style guest table. It was truely like a fairytale. Due to noise requirements set forth by the county, the music must be below a certain decible, but this didn't seem to be an issue. We had a blast! Thank you Donna.

What a dream! Choosing The Wedding House was a no brainer for me, after meeting Donna and seeing the beautiful venue I knew this was the right place to say I do. My wedding day was perfect in every way and came together beautifully, my guests gave rave reviews about the venue as well. Throughout the entire planning process Donna was so helpful and accommodating with my needs. I was able to stay in her airbnb the night before the wedding, my room and bathroom was gorgeous, I recommend staying if you have the opportunity. I would choose The Wedding House again and again. Donna you are an angel, thank you for making my day so special.

Amazing place to get married! This past June, I booked the Wedding House at Palisade and I could not be happier with my experience. This venue has stunning views and is the perfect place if you are looking for an outdoor wedding/reception. Not only are the views breathtaking the Wedding House has everything you may need from a recently remolded bridal suite to a stunning rustic barn for dancing to items to rent. Not to mention all the fairy lights pre-strung around the property and barn! Donna was great to work with and was always prompt with answering my many questions. She also put together all my florals needs and stayed within my budget. If I could get married all over again I would still choose this venue!

From the moment we signed the contract it was nothing but stressful. We made arrangement to were we would trade work in order to have our wedding there and for that I was super thankful. My husband began building the fence for her and we had nothing but problems with that! She complained about every little thing my husband did and would text him during late hours of the night complaining about how things weren’t done right. Even though at this point I was becoming extremely annoyed with her we kept moving forward. One day she asked me if I would come haul some branches to the dump for her and she would pay me. When I got there we loaded everything up and I asked her if she had any straps or a tarp so I could strap it down. She of course did not so she went to find something to do the job. She came back with a tarp from Lowe’s that was around 50 ft. Long and an extension. After dropping the stuff off at the dump I got a call from my husband and he had gotten in an accident at work so I had to go get him and take him home so I called her and told her I wouldn’t be able to make it back to drop the tarp off. She texted me about 3 weeks before our wedding and told me she needed the tarp to move some leave for our wedding. I had misplaced the tarp and couldn’t find it anyway were so I brought her one of mine and apologize. She then texted me about a week later telling me the tarp was to small and if I didn’t find her one soon that she was going to take money out of our deposit! Which I thought was ridiculous because this work wasn’t even part of our contract!!! Besides the point we pushed through and made it to the wedding with no other problems. Our wedding was absolutly beautiful but this lady had the nerve to walk around during my wedding and complain about people at our wedding she even accused my 11 year old brother of drinking when there wasnt even any alcohol there! I would not recommend this place at all!!!!

From the time I paid the owner of our outdoor venue I had nothing but added stress. She would call me to complain about her other clients, which I found to be terribly unprofessional. She also called to tell me that I should tell my friends not to bring their children, well after I had already sent and received my RSVP's. She paced around the venue throughout the wedding, and complained to myself and my guests the entire time about kids running on her lawn, the dj, etc. She even rented a porta potty rather than holding to the contractual agreement that my guests could use the downstairs floor of her house. After the wedding she insisted on additional monetary compensation for the DJ playing music too loud (he didn’t we couldn’t hear the music under the tens only 50 feet away), for the children who she claimed were unsupervised running in her grass, for my bridesmaid “verbally harassing” her when she asked why the guests were expected to use a portable potty where they were unable to wash their hands before dinner, and the list of petty complaints went on.
The venue was also not in good shape when we arrived. My caterer fell in a hole made by the venue owner’s lawn mower, throwing the tablecloths to the ground so she could catch herself. There were piles of leaves and weeds, which my bridesmaids and I ended up dealing with the day of the wedding.

She also went after our damage deposit (threatening repeatedly to take us to court) on top of the already paid venue fee. We gave in and paid (only to avoid court), even though she signed the contract stating, "no damages occurred."

I would NOT recommend this venue!
