  DJ Mike made our wedding reception so fun and memorable from start to finish!

  We just had a friend mention how great our wedding DJ was (now over three months after our reception) which reminded me to share this review about DJ Mike Erickson!
  
  We hired Mike for our wedding in September '24. One of the main reasons we wanted to book Mike was due to his emceeing abilities to make sure each aspect of our reception flowed naturally. He knows a lot about sound quality and even set up an additional mixer and speaker in the dining room area so that the music audio and mic for speeches would be crystal clear. He worked closely with our Day Of coordinator and the event coordinator at the venue so that everyone was on the same page for the event transitions.
  
  During our initial call, we gave Mike a lot of specific details about how we wanted the musical setting to be for the different elements of our reception. We sent Mike our Spotify playlists for cocktail hour, entrances, and dinner, as well as "must-play" songs for dancing. He took the song lists, gave us some additional recommendations, and built the vibe around those impeccably.
  
  When it came time for dancing, he was so helpful with incorporating the "flash mob dance" that my mom and some other guests coordinated and then wasted no time getting the dance floor packed afterward. And it stayed packed ALL night! Again, he truly understood what we wanted and made sure to create a club/party vibe. He also gave us recommendations for how many dance props to buy based on our guest count, which I was so glad he did because they were a huge hit and I originally would not have had nearly enough.
  
  On top of that, Mike mixed in some of his own super fun surprises for our entrances and a focus on us during some dances. He also gifted us the rental for one of those audio guest books (something I meant to rent but ran out of time for) and it was so incredible! I couldn't believe it when he presented it to us and it was the most fun guest activity. It was even better that he gave us a USB drive with all the recordings that night so that we could listen to them the next morning. There was no need to send back the phone and wait weeks for the recordings like some other audio guest books require.
  
  Setting the right mood for the entire evening was extremely important to us and DJ Mike exceeded all expectations. He's friendly yet professional, passionate about creating amazing experiences, and dedicated to catering to exactly what the couple wants. We can't recommend him enough if you're looking for a truly memorable wedding reception!

  He helped us throw the party that we wanted!

  DJ Mike was awesome at communicating with us and very easy to get along with. We made some unique requests including sending him our own music mixes, and he made it all happen! He also was very responsive whenever we wanted to make a change to the plan (or cut songs short because of awkward dancing moments haha). He also knew how to read the vibe of the room and play songs that would get people dancing. Most importantly, he let the groom up on the turntables!!! My husband got to DJ his own wedding for a few minutes!

  Great help with the ceremony and a wonderful party

  We had an outdoor ceremony in a crowded state park. Before I talked with DJ Mike with the Wedding Guys I was worried about how we would hear the officiant, where the music would be, and how everything was going to work when I couldn't confirm where the plugs would be. DJ Mike had everything under control, had all the equipment we needed and knew exactly what to do. This was the first wedding I had been to in years that didn't have any mic issues (cutting out, being too quiet, feedback) during the ceremony and it was really stress free for me.
  
  At the reception, I had both my old high school friends and my aunts and uncles in their 60s telling me how he was such an amazing DJ and how he kept playing songs they loved. The dance floor was packed the whole time.

  Wow!!! DJ Mike brings the energy! You 🤩

  DJ Mike was incredible! We had a very complex event, and he was at the center of it all! He was also able to improvise really well for us, when things went a little off schedule.
  
  The event was successful, largely due to his participation. He has a great attitude, and also knows how to bring the energy!
  
  If you want someone you can trust, Mike is your guy! A+++++++

  Best time ever!

  I have had DJ Mike as the DJ at several events I have attended. It was a no brainer to hire him & his team for our 50th BIRTHDAY BASH. He is amazing at reading the crowd, the vibe and filter requests! I would hire him again & again!!!

  Richard’s Wedding

  Mike knows how to throw a party!! Mike kept the dance floor at our wedding full all night long! We loved the Piano Man song and how everyone sang and danced around us, it was so special! He made sure everything was perfect with the music and our entrances! Awesome communication and very organized! Mike is best! Thank you for helping to make our wedding day perfect!   Dj mike was amazing! He was very accommodating and took every detail into consideration when coordinating and DJing our wedding day. He is very friendly and kept everyone on the dance floor all night long!

  Best of the best

  From start to finish Mike went above and beyond for our wedding day. He was informative and answered any questions we had immediately. Having a good DJ was the top item on my list, and Mike by far exceeded our expectations. Mike was able to provide us additional services as well such as a photo booth and phone message station. Both services were a hit at our reception and our guests loved them, his photo booth had advanced features I’ve never seen at a wedding before until my own! Have no doubts, Mike will take care of you all the way through and you will not be disappointed. His years of experience show as Mike truly is the real deal.

  Personable

  DJ Mike was with us from the very beginning and helped us with almost everything. We didn’t have a clue where to start. We saw him at a wedding convention and he just welcomed us with a warm heart and allowed us to share our vision with him and he guided us in the right direction in terms of a venue, other vendors, etc..
  
  We had a mixed culture wedding (Indian and American) and DJ Mike was super excited to have the opportunity to blend our cultures together. The good news is that it wasn’t his first time! We had choreographed dances that needed multiple songs merging and he nailed it. He also had the entire day scheduled for us (even though we were way behind… he was super flexible with us and never once interrupted the flow).
  
  Overall, DJ Mike was absolutely amazing and I’d recommend him to anyone who is looking for a DJ for anything. I truly mean that.
