Wayside Chapel has been booked for my upcoming ceremony. Joyce was extremely professional, yet down to earth and caring. She ensured that all my questions were answered and she assured me that our personal needs for the wedding will be taken care of. I have full confidence that our wedding is going to be spectacular. And what a beautiful venue too!!!

This was a great place to have an outdoor ceremony.....they are very professional and efficient.....it has a beautiful garden and the price comes with an officiant and a soloist.....a great deal.

This is a beautiful location for a wedding! Especially for a small intimate gathering, the grounds are gorgeous, the chapel is quaint and the memories will be endless. The staff was wonderful and made sure everything went smoothly! The only downside here, if you can call it that, was the time restraints, although we really didn't need more time it would have been nice to know that we weren't restricted too.

They do not allow dress rehersals, so they are extremely responsive and accomodating on the wedding day. They guide the wedding party so that everyone knows what they are supposed to do and feel comfortable. For my ceremony, everyone in the wedding party ran late. Because of this, they allowed us to be on the grounds for a little while longer than they normally would have allowed. Part of our sand ceremony glass was broken. They replaced it right away. I had a wedding in the garden of the chapel and it was beautiful. I would recommend this setting for anyone interested in having a small outdoor wedding.

We were running out of time finding a ceremony site, so we were a bit rushed when we got to the Wayside Chapel. It is small, so we were concerned. In the end, if you have over 50 people coming to the reception, I'd say it'd be a tight fight, though they say they fit 75. We had an outdoor ceremony, so we had a few people that had to stand. It was a quick ceremony, so it turned out to be okay, but if you have more than that, heads up! The lady in charge was a bit rude and rushed, but in the end, it was easy to ignore it. We arrived early, and weren't allowed to go back and hide in the chapel, so we had to hide from the groom in the main building. They are STRICT on their time allotments! No rehearsal, no getting there early, no staying late. The pastor came in and talked to me for a bit and calmed me down. As we were allowed back, we saw how beautiful it was. Flowers were bloomed and everything, turned out for beautiful pictures. I forgot our holders and lighters for our unity candle, but it was no problem, they grabbed them and set everything up for us. Ceremony was quick and beautiful. We had to provide our own player and music because we didn't have time, but that turned out okay as well. All in all, it was as beautiful as I imagined. The day ran smoothly, the pastor explained everything to the bridal party ahead of time so they were comfortable. Everyone complimented over and over how beautiful it was. Only negatives? Number one, if you have a lot of wedding guests, you might want to think twice as it is small. Number two, the mosquitos. We were outside and while I didn't realize it at the time, they were everywhere and they were bad! We got mosquito bites all over as did our guests.

What a beautiful location! Rev. Jerry made our ceremony very special. Everyone was truly moved by the beautiful ceremony. The wedding coordinator was very nice, but the hostess kept rushing my photographer and was not nice about it. I understand that they have a tight schedule to keep, and we were wrapping up already, but being rude to my photographer just isn't very professional.
Overall, we are pleased with the service, the beautiful setting, and customized ceremony.

Wayside Chapel was very accomidating and my pictures turned out beautiful. Even during the winter they allowed us to take pictures where ever we wanted on the grounds. Everything was included in the price and since it was right before christmas the chapel was already decorated so we didn't need to bring anything but ourselves.

The only complaint I have is the fact that the lady in charge of the chapel on our wedding day was helpful in some ways but rude in others. Because we had a snow storm that day many people, including myself, were late which delayed the ceremony 10 minutes. She looked at my husband and said "Well is she coming?" Also, she tried to rush picture so that she could lock everything up early and she seemed to have a problem with us taking pictures in the main building because "we were out of time".

Don't worry too much about that lady though. The pastor told her to calm down along with the photographer. If anything tell the photographer what you want ahead of time and he will accomidate and tell the lady to cool it. Worse comes to worse sick your mom on her. No one wants to mess with a mother on her daughter/son's wedding day.
