Wedding with a View!

I had my wedding at The Waterview on Saturday, 8/17/2024. Lynn, Events Sales Manager, gave us a tour of the venue and helped us book the venue. Lynn is very approachable and communicative. She answered all of our questions and checked in with us throughout the whole process. She also made sure that our dietary accommodations were all included. After seeing the ocean view for our ceremony, the view from the deck of the cocktail space and the reception view, we knew that we had to have our ceremony at The Waterview! I had my wedding at The Waterview on Saturday, 8/17/2024. Lynn, Events Sales Manager, gave us a tour of the venue and helped us book the venue. Lynn is very approachable and communicative. She answered all of our questions and checked in with us throughout the whole process. She also made sure that our dietary accommodations were all included. After seeing the ocean view for our ceremony, the view from the deck of the cocktail space and the reception view, we knew that we had to have our ceremony at The Waterview! We had our ceremony on the deck of the Haborview Room with the ocean view in the background. Absolutely beautiful. Our cocktail hour took place in the Atrium with floor to ceiling windows which opened on to the deck that featured lounge furniture and umbrellas overlooking the ocean. We also had two bars with bartenders serving exceptional drinks all night! The reception room with beautifully decorated with my decorations and decorations provided by The Waterview. They provide your choice of colored napkins, two gold candle holders with candles per table and two votives with candles per table. The wedding package includes cocktail hour, drinks, entrees and desserts.

The food from cocktail to the entrees to dessert was delicious and plentiful. Guests loved the filet mignon during dinner, and they also talked about the lobster Mac n Cheese during cocktail hour. The Waterview also served so many delicious desserts and choices of desserts in addition to our wedding cake.

The staff including the Maitre d', bartenders, and servers were all so friendly, and accommodating with the guests. They were attentive and provided quality service until the very end of the night. Rocio was my bridal attendant. Rocio was amazing, professional and made sure the groom and I had enough to eat and drink all night. She was by our side all evening. She also made sure we had a plate of food during the cocktail hour and a plate of the various desserts. She made sure we were always taken care of. I'm so greatly she was our bridal attendant!

I highly recommend this venue! The view, the food, the staff, the cook, are all wonderful.

Beautiful spot!

I recently had the pleasure of hosting a party at the venue's stunning atrium with breathtaking views. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate our needs, and Lynn was incredibly communicative and a joy to work with. From start to finish, the experience was seamless, making it an unforgettable event for all attendees. I highly recommend this venue for any occasion.

The perfect venue

We had our wedding here 8/2/19 and there is not a single thing i would have changed! We booked with Diana who was amazing and very responsive. Every request I had was met right away and the day of staff was on top of everything before I even thought to ask. The food was top notch and their waterfront view was breathtaking on that beautiful sunny day! i highly recommend for wedding and even smaller affairs ad they have other rooms in addition to the main event ballroom. A great addition to the Danford's brand!

Amazing Venue/Wedding - Bad Corona Experience

Full Disclosure this is a Corona virus Wedding review. We had our wedding 10/3/2020 when things we're looking optimistic. Our wedding night was amazing; everything from the food, the decorations, the outside, and the accommodations we're fantastic! Heather helped us out with planning everything last minute and she was absolutely amazing. We wouldn't have had the wedding we did without her. But before her, the VP of Sales was our point of contact and that's when things went south, hence the 4 star review. She was very unfriendly, was only concerned about making money and had 0 solutions that were reasonable. Besides her everything else was an absolute delight. I highly recommend having your wedding here. Without the virus, they would definitely be a 5 star review but with poor management I can't let this one slide.

Wedding on 7/7/24 NOT GOOD

AC never worked during the whole event. It was about 90° outside. Nobody danced on the dance floor 2 1/2 hours into the event. We were told we had to move everything downstairs with an hour and a half left of the event. We had Guests leave for good and we had to move all the flowers and arrangements from one floor to the other. It was a complete disaster. We had our guests contact management to complain about the event. So far, nothing has been done as far as compensation. Staff was very friendly. Food was good but not having any air conditioning and I was told this is not the first time this is happened because...
