My bridal shower at The Walden Club was beyond perfect. I gave them a general idea of what I wanted and what the budget was and they took it from there. Everything far exceeded my expectations. The food was amazing, all my friends and relatives were very impressed. It was the easiest part of my whole wedding. The location has the best views in Chattanooga. The staff were wonderful, they are so friendly and helpful. I would recommend them to anyone!

I would say that for the value of the venue PLUS the menu, it's a no-brainer!! Compared to other venues, it was exactly what we wanted. We were extremely pleased with how my daughter's wedding reception was handled, and went! The reception was May 7, and we're still hearing raves about how classy it was there. Will highly recommend The Walden Club to others!

The Walden Club is a classic, professional, and eloquent club, perfect for special events. You cannot beat the view from the ballroom for a downtown venue; it's gorgeous. We couldn't be happier with how everything worked out. The ballroom perfectly accommodated our needs for our wedding ceremony and reception. They only tricky part was hiding away from guests as they arrived and the staff was very hospitable and allowed us to arrive early and view the ballroom and then hide away in the office until time for the ceremony. They accommodated all of my requests and they were thoughtful enough to have a table reserved in the dining room, in the back, for us to escape to eat right after the ceremony while the guests ate. It gave us a chance to be together, sign the license, and EAT before going back in to meet and greet and party. The Walden Club staff will take excellent care of anyone looking to plan a special event.

The Walden club was a great place to have our reception! The food was great and the staff was even better!

The Walden Club provided a beautiful setting and beautiful views of the Chattanooga for our Rehearsal dinner. The manager and staff were great to work with. They even prepared some of our family recipes for the dinner. After we saw the Walden Club, we could not think of a better place to hold the dinner. Our out of town guests enjoyed it and the food was delicious. They had a broad range of alcohol to choose from and went out of their way to get the wines we requested. The parking was easy and free in the next door garage. I have told several friends about it that need a a larger venue for a dinner.

My experience with the Walden Club was fantastic. In the planning stages, tours were scheduled. I recieved plenty of reading material as part of my research; management scheduled allowed us to preselect menu items and set a time for me and my wedding planning team to come to the club and sample the food. Once the menu and date was scheduled, the management was readily available for questions. At the event, they were top knotch, ensuring the tables for my family members were reserved in advance, ensuring that all guests were directed to bar and food areas as the so desired; directing wait staff to quickly bus and pre bus any icky plates out of the way...and even more so, once my groom and I had cut the cake, they took over, cut it up and serviced our guests! It was fantastic. The only thing I wished I had the foresight to have asked for.....that the thermostat was turned down really, really, low...so once everyone started dancing, they'd still be cool.

The view from the building is fantastic, and the staff is great! Ben went out of his way to make sure my husband and I were taken care of day of, and also leading up to the big day. The food was phenomenal -- many of our guests raved about how good it was. We had ordered a mashed potato bar that wasn't on the menu, and The Walden Club was very accommodating and made it happen. I'd wanted to have my wedding reception at The Walden Club since I was little, and it did not disappoint!

The Walden Club made for a wonderful reception site! The view of Chattanooga is wonderful and it is the only place in Chattanooga where one can have a reception downtown with a skyview. The food is very good (except the crab rangoons and pigs in a blanket) and the people I worked with throughout the planning process were very professional. And throughout the reception the waiters and other staff of the Walden Club were exceptional.

The only gripe I really have about the Walden Club is that when you are trying to coordinate details with them you can NEVER get in touch with them. You must leave a message or send an e-mail and MAYBE you will hear back from them. This made the planning process difficult at times.

I would recommend this site though to others.
