  Thoughtful touches

  We had a last minute elopement wedding. The vow keeper helped us with every detail, how and where to get marriage license quickly. Including special instructions to speed things up for us later. She gave a thoughtful speech that moved us. And was calm and relaxed with our dogs. We had a stress free wedding and she was a big part of that.

  Perfect officiant

  Charlotte was perfect for our ceremony, she truly cares about making the ceremony exactly what you envision it to be. We were able to create the perfect ceremony from her selections and make it completely our own. She was delightful and helpful before and after our wedding day. We would highly recommend her to anyone getting married in the area!

  Since the first email sent I felt completely at ease hiring The Vow Keeper for both our officiant and photographer. The communication was easy. Pricing was affordable. Service was professional. We were very pleased with every part of our wedding ceremony. The photos we received captured our intimate ceremony perfectly. We felt Charlotte got our ceremony perfect. Larry captured the images we wanted.

  Married in Joshua Tree!

  My husband (still getting used to that) and I were married on 6/2/24 in Joshua Tree National Park. Our wedding officiant offered a wealth of vendors to choose from down in Joshua Tree on her website. We found an excellent cake, hair/makeup, and flower shop with her help. Charlotte and Larry made the wedding exactly the way we wanted it and helped guide us all the way through the process. Her communication and advice about different options relating to our wedding was very helpful. Our vows were chosen by my husband and I and we were married between two adjacent boulders to shield us from the wind. Photos were so easy with Larry. He made us feel comfortable and at ease, as well as Charlotte. I greatly appreciated the stellar communication and guidance to be married so far from home. What an experience getting married in such a magical place, truly a blessing! I am really pleased with how easy and effortless the whole process was. Thank you to Larry and Charlotte for a wonderful wedding!

  From the very first phone call to the drafting of the vows Charlotte was amazing, professional and helpful. The day of the wedding Larry and Charlotte made a great team, so many photos were taken! The ceremony was better then we had hoped and we felt so cared for and understood. Charlotte completely got our vision for the wedding! We felt like an old friend was officiating. We cant thank her enough for the warmth and the genuine support she gave us.

  Dreamy desert spontaneous wedding come true!

  On thanksgiving weekend, as we were staying with our friends at their beautiful Joshua Tree residence, my partner of 8 years and I decided to spontaneously get married. Our friends, who often host wedding parties at the residence (NoWhere California), called Charlotte, who regularly officiates weddings there. Charlotte was immediately down with our crazy plan, and made it seem like the most natural and easy process. She was incredibly flexible, our communication was clear and concise, she gave us all the explanations and choices necessary to make it exactly the wedding we wanted to have. She arrived the next day, on time, with a soothing and warm energy. Her words at the ceremony set the mood for us to connect to our hearts and exchange personal vows. Charlotte took beautiful pictures of us before and during the ceremony, and even gifted us an embroidered handkerchief - memories to last a lifetime. After the wedding she emailed us with all the necessary documents, photos and explanations. We could not ask for a better experience! 10/10. We wholeheartedly recommend using the vow keeper's services for your wedding.

  Best decision we made for our JT elopement!

  Hiring Charlotte was the best decision that we made while planning our wedding. She has such a warm, calming presence, and gave us priceless advice about our ceremony, the park and our marriage license. We thought about having family officiate but we are so glad we chose a local with experience, and Charlotte is just the kindest lady. She made sure that we were present and got to take in the moment, and when our photographer had trouble with her camera during the ceremony, Charlotte saved the day and let us use hers. Hire her, you will not regret it!

  Couldn’t have asked for anything more

  Charlotte is wonderful !!!
  She was always great at getting back to me promptly, walking me through the process and sending helpful reminders.
  On the wedding day she came with her husband Larry who took photos of our ceremony. Afterwards they both took photos and helped us capture our day beautifully!!
  They were both extremely kind and loving people with calm energy which we needed. No matter how prepared you are, the emotions of such a beautiful day and loving experience can be powerful.
  The fee is very reasonable for both Ceramony and photography. I used one of her makeup/hair vendors and was really happy with that choice too.
  Charlotte has carefully vetted all her vendors which was also very helpful considering I don’t live locally.
  A million times!!! Don’t hesitate to hire The Vow Keeper!!!

  Charlotte is absolutely amazing! She worked with everything we wanted for our perfect day including adding in our perfect extras like the Lasso wedding on top of the Christian ceremony! She has lots of different ceremony choices and works with anything you want to make your day the way YOU want it! The photos turned out beautiful! She didn't just take photos but she found places to take pics that were perfect! I definitely recommend The Vow Keeper to anyone looking for the most amazing special day ♡

  Joshua Tree Elopement 10/02/22

  Charlotte was so easy to work with. She took us step by step on everything that needed to be in order prior to our elopement. When our day came, she was punctual and was very professional. She certainly was the right person for the job.

  Wonderful!

  Charlotte was wonderful to work with and so willing to work with my changing schedule. There was a sandstorm the morning of my wedding and she called to make sure everything was okay and was still going to meet us in JTNP for our wedding if that's what we wanted. She was so personal and sweet. Charlotte even gave us vials to put sand, from the spot we got married, into them. I would definitely recommend hiring her as your officiant!!

  Charlotte was amazing. My partner and I planned a very small & intimate ceremony at our Airbnb in Joshua Tree, I came across The Vow Keeper when searching for possible officiants. Planning our day with her was seamless. She really took her time in making our that our day would be what we were needing. She also provided so many suggestions for us as far as vendors and made it extremely helpful planning our ceremony out of state.
  
  On our actual ceremony day she allowed us the space to really make it special and our own. It is obvious how much she genuinely cares for her couples.
  
  We would highly recommend Charlotte if you are looking for an officiant in Joshua Tree or surrounding areas.
