This place was the perfect setting for our vineyard wedding. The food was amazing and the staff was the most professional. They made sure my husband and I were happy with everything and supplied anything we wanted. Every request of ours was met. I would recommend this place to a friend in a heartbeat.

Simply the best! My wife and I only needed to check out two venues before meeting with John and the people at Vineyard Caterers. I am not usually one for providing feedback, but my wedding day was perfect and I have my vendors (including Vineyard Caterers) to thank. From day one they made my wife feel important and we always felt comfortable that the day would go smooth. John allowed us to come in the night before the wedding and setup our pictures and whatnot. We were completely blown away by how flexible and accommodating everyone was the day of the wedding. The bartender's and servers were extremely helpful and the bridal attendant was top notch. She continually asked me if I needed anything and was always bringing me another Bud when mine was getting empty. I do not want to write a book here, but anyone who is looking to use the Vineyard Caterers should know that they are the best in the business. Plus, only one wedding going on at a time so it makes it feel special and intimate. Oh and by the way, two Italian families here.....THE FOOD WAS OUT OF THIS WORLD! Best catering hall food I have ever had, no competition.

I cannot say enough good things about The Vineyards! They were great from the moment I walked in the door, to very end! I planned my wedding from 90 miles away, so there were alot of calls and emails, and they were more than happy to help with my questions, gave me advice, reccomendations you name it. The price is incredible, especially for what you get! Everyone has told me it was one of, if not THE best wedding they have ever been to! All the people who gave me grief about having my wedding not close to home came up to me and told now they understand why I had ti there! The food was outrageous! There was so much and it tasted so good! Bill and Johnny and the ladies in the front were all such a pleasure to work with and if I could do it again, I'd do it in a heart beat!!!

My husband and I just got married at The Vineyards almost a month ago. I can truly say that everyone at The Vineyards went above and beyond to make our wedding amazing. Our expectations were met and exceeded! The cocktail room is gorgeous. We did everything on-site (ceremony and reception) and all of it was wonderful. The food was excellent and no one left the wedding hungry. The grounds are stunning and we were able to take ALL of our wedding photos there! The best part was that they only accommodate one wedding at a time, so the venue was ours exclusively. It was literally our home for that day. All of our guests complimented us on our choice of venue and how unique the wedding was because of it.

Eleni, the wedding coordinator, was also our officiant. Our outdoor ceremony was beautiful, and Eleni really made our ceremony special. Throughout the entire planning process, Eleni was there to answer our questions, concerns, and offer advice when we needed. We thank you Eleni from the bottom of our hearts.

My bridal attendant was Jill and our Maitre'D was Elena. Both of them were excellent and attentive. They worked so hard to make sure that our wedding was perfect. Thank you ladies for everything! Also a big thank you to the Chef, who made sure our guests with dietary restrictions were well taken care of!

One final thing - their house wine is delicious. We did wine bottle favors through them and all of our guests loved them. Some of our guests even commented that it was the best wine they had ever had. I tend to agree with them!

I cannot begin to express how wonderful everyone is at vineyard caterers, they truly made my day extra special. Anything we wanted that day Johnny made sure we had. Every single person said how amazing the food was and how great the service was. I highly recommend this place to whoever wants their day to be perfect. This place is truly spectacular!

I cannot say enough about the Vineyards at Aquebogue. We drove past for years on our way out East, and I envisioned getting married there one day. My dreams came true! We worked with Kate from day one, and she was phenomenal. So helpful and accommodating from day one up until our wedding. The venue is beautiful, inside and out. With an evening wedding in early November I wasn’t sure if I would get my outdoor ceremony, but they made it happen. The food is absolutely delicious, and all our guests agreed. Jade, our bridal attendant, was absolutely wonderful and so sweet! And Kevin, our maitre’d, was on top of everything to ensure the night went seamlessly. So many guests complimented our choice of venue, and I couldn’t agree more. Thank you Kate, Kevin, Jade, and the entire team at the Vineyards at Aquebogue for making my dream wedding a reality!!!

I can not say enough!!! they definitely have an amazing reputation for a very good reason. I had a little bigger bridal party and the matr'd remembered every one of them. and the bridal attendant remembered exactly what drinks they were drinking for the whole night! They caterer every detail of the wedding, they actually even set up half of my centerpieces because they were purchased before i booked the florist. my wedding was my absolute dream wedding and i owe most of that too the vineyard caterers!

From the moment I walked in this venue I knew I wanted to have my wedding there. It was such a pleasure working with Eleni through the whole process. I was even more impressed the day of. Everything flowed so perfectly and every staff member knew exactly where to be and when. Alena is a wonderful asset to The Vineyards. She is an amazing Maitre D. Richard was the Bridal Attendant and he was super helpful and gave me some great tips as a first time bride. I received so many amazing comments from my friends and family about how beautiful the venue was and how outstanding the food is. I highly recommend this place!

I truly cannot say enough amazing things about The Vineyards! From start to finish, everything was absolutely perfect. The venue itself is breathtaking — both inside and out. The grounds are stunning, the ballroom is elegant and warm, and every corner feels like it was made for a fairytale. I got the most gorgeous wedding photos that I will treasure forever!

Our guests are still raving about how beautiful the venue was — and don’t even get me started on the food! Every dish was delicious and beautifully presented. But what truly sets The Vineyards apart is the incredible staff. Every single person we worked with was sweet, professional, and made the whole process so easy and stress-free. They made us feel truly taken care of, and it showed in every detail.

Usually I don't like to leave 5 stars across the board but they were so great I couldn't give them anything less! They were wonderful from first glance to last pickup!! Eleni is a gem.

The Vineyards could not have been a more perfect venue for our August wedding! My dream was to get married in the vineyards and The Vineyard Caterers made that possible, and was above and beyond our expectations ! The food was incredible ( our friends and family are still talking about it ) the grounds are flawless and the staff was so helpful and attentive! They made every effort to accomadate our requests (even my wino of a father who requested special wines for the wedding ... The one they could not get for everyone, they actually gave him his own bottle during the wedding !!!) They did the same for my husband and his craft beer requests ! We could not have been happier with this venue from start to finish!

Everything was perfect. The guests complimented everything especially the wonderful scenery and the food! They also took care of a lot for me, like the cake, the table centerpieces, and the favors, so I was able to check those off my list and concentrate on all the other details. The place is gorgous, and considering the level of service you get, and how nice everything is, it was surprisingly affordable. I would recommend to anyone.

Having our wedding at The Vineyards at Aquebogue was beyond a dream come true. Kate and Russ create pure magic for you - not just on the day of your wedding, but during the entire process. They made it so easy for us when we had to move our wedding, due to the pandemic. They would get on the phone with us, send us photos, and set up in-person meetings whenever I had crazy amounts of questions. We always got an honest opinion on what to splurge on, and what wasn’t really ‘our style’ from Kate – she never steered us wrong. The day of our wedding Kate told my wedding coordinator that there were flowers leftover from the previous night’s wedding, with our exact same color palate, and asked if we wanted to use them as well. That was so thoughtful, and the extra unwanted flowers got to be admired again.

We had our wedding outside, in November, and the landscape was stunning. Getting married under an arbor with a view of the waterfall, gazebo, and vineyards was spectacular. The food was unbeatable – during cocktail hour we had pasta cooked in wheels of cheese, oysters shucked to order, baby lambchops… and our guest were so stuffed but they still managed to eat their dinners – the Chateau-Briand steak (with the peppercorn gravy, as per Kate’s suggestion) and lasagna (yes, the vegetarian option), were the absolute standouts. The reception area is gorgeous, the highlight being these beautiful Edison lights over the dance floor (definitely upgrade for those), and the grand double staircase. Once the cocktail room was cleaned, they opened it up too, so you had so much space and so many options to hang out – if you wanted intimate conversation or being on the dancefloor all night, you had options. We also used the recommended band Crossing Midnight (with 9 pieces, including saxophone and bongos) and I’m still having people tell me it was the best music at a wedding that they’ve ever been to. The Maître D’, Michelle, was on top of everything, the bartenders were quick and we never had a line, and the staff was professional and courteous.

The Vineyards at Aquebogue is different because they’re not ‘just a catering hall’. There’s only one wedding at a time, it’s so uniquely rustic and elegant, and you’re not treated like just ‘another bride’. You are important, you become family, and you will be taken care of.

The team of Russ, Kate, and Jamie were fantastic in planning and executing our wedding reception, it was epic. The entire grounds are kept meticulously well, it's really beautiful. Our every need was catered to and the food was great too. This place is the real deal, I thought I was biased because it was our own wedding, but all of our guests expressed the same feeling. Everyone at The Vineyards (or Vineyard Caterers as some know it) is absolutely amazing. We had our wedding there on November 10th and the staff made it an amazing night for me and my husband. They paid attention to all the little details and made everyone feel welcome. Eleni and Johnny go above and beyond. I had a stress-free and enjoyable night, which was one of the biggest things I hoped for. All of our guests RAVED about the food. Even our vendors were thrilled when we said we booked with The Vineyards because their food is delicious. The range of options is more than you can imagine and everything tastes freshly made, rather than frozen. What you get for the price is also really wonderful. The site was beautiful even in November. I could not be more thrilled to have picked this location. There is only one wedding at a time, so the focus is on you. It also gives you the vineyard feel, but without having to worry about the extra details you will at some of the actual vineyards. I would recommend this venue to anyone looking for a eastern LI wedding location.

Where do I begin? The entire experience with The Vineyards has been excellent! From the minute I walked into this place I knew I wanted to get married there. Eleni was absolutely incredible with her quick and thorough responses to all of my many questions throughout the last 3 months. The day of the wedding, Elena and Jill could not have been better. I will be recommending this place to all future bride and grooms for a very long time!

I will try and make this short and sweet, but feel it is important to share how great our experience was at the Vineyards. During the first round of entrees' my father did not try the Shrimp Wellington. He was hoping to try it as waiters were bringing around extra helpings of the different entrees'. Unfortunately, the waiters ran out before they reached my dad's table. The Maitre D, John (who is awesome), overheard our conversation and had the make another batch of shrimp wellington for my father. This was not the only case of how far the Vineyards staff will go to make our wedding day a great experience for our guests. One of our guests recently had lapband (sp?) surgery and was not able to eat solid foods at this time and soup was not one of the meals we had chosen to offer our guests. The waiter went to the head chef and presented our guest with a red pepper soup that he enjoyed very much. The Vineyards is a top notch organization from the General Manager to waitstaff. They all made it a great day that my wife and I will never forget!!!!!!!

Absolutely fabulous venue. We wanted a vineyard feel and looked at many of the wineries in the area, but Vineyard Caterers blew them all away. We didn't have to worry about a thing - the staff was 100% attentive to us as well as our guests. The food was wonderful, the professionalism was great, and all of our guests loved it. Many from Long Island said they never even knew about this place and wished they had used them for their wedding, special occasion, etc. At no point did we feel like we were in a typical "catering hall", it had that perfect east end feeling that we wanted. Definitely a great choice.

The Vineyard Caterers blew away my expectations. We first looked at The Vineyards in October 2015 and fell in love with the location and the fact that it was a catering hall on a vineyard (a great compromise if you aren't looking to shell out thousands of dollars just on a site fee). My fiance and I were a little hesitant when we received the letter in December of 2016 that Lessings had bought the venue as we were afraid the quality of things would change. I ended up calling Russ, who is now the Lessings manager of the venue, and he spoke to me for 30 minutes explaining every single change that was taking place. I now feel sorry that I had my doubts because they did a wonderful job updating the venue and ensuring me that whatever was in my contract would stay the same (it did and more). The chef and all of the workers stayed the same, but cosmetically they painted, ripped out the carpet, put in hardwood floors, and changed all the furniture so it truly looked like a vineyard. Kate who is now the Sales Director for the venue was wonderful. She answered every question I had and when it got closer to our wedding date was so responsive and helpful. She is so organized and detailed which made the final process stress free. On the day of our wedding, Russ and Kate were there to greet my husband and I to ensure everything was running smoothly. At one point, red wine had spilled on my mom's dress and Russ was right there with seltzer and a cloth on his hands and knees scrubbing it out. The food, the drinks, the service, the grounds, the location was all 5 stars. Everyone could not get over how beautiful the outdoor patio/cocktail hour room looked. We had the best day of our lives and a lot of it was thanks to The Vineyards.

My husband and I got married out in Montauk Saturday, June 3rd, 2017. So you're wondering why a review here, under the Vineyards? We used the Vineyards as our off-premise caterer. I cannot say enough how absolutely incredible it has been to work with Russ Moran and the team at Lessing's in planning our unforgettable wedding weekend. We had always heard fabulous things about Russ Moran and Lessing's but had no idea they were such off-premise geniuses. Russ helped us pull together a wedding of 220 people at an extremely unique wedding venue in Montauk, in June. This task alone speaks to his accolades. Russ was able to execute our dream wedding as we had always imagined it. We are forever indebted to him and his tireless efforts. No request that I made was to big (and believe me, I really tried my best to throw him curve balls). Nevertheless, he always made me feel as though my sometimes obscure requests were totally normal (even when I ask that he takes leftover lobsters and makes it into lobster rolls and puts them in our hotel fridge so my husband and I could enjoy them the day after our wedding on the beach) he did so with a smile on his face. Russ’s creativity is unparalleled. We loved his idea of doing an nontraditional wedding lobster bake, it was indigenous to the Montauk vibe we were going for. He also had great ideas when it came to sticking within our budget. Again, I want to thank Russ Moran and Lessing's for catering our wedding. I know after you get married people tell you how great your wedding was and that it was “the best wedding ever” but I truly know all of our 220 guests mean it when they say that this was the most spectacular wedding they’ve ever attended.

The Vineyards was the perfect venue for our wedding. Kate was so helpful along the way. The food was amazing! The staff working were so efficient and ready to meet any of our needs. Our happiness was definitely their main concern. The bridal attendant couldn't have been sweeter or more attentive.

My husband and I just got married at The Vineyards on August 4th and we really want to thank them for hosting the best day of our lives! We fell in love with the venue last March and were a little nervous about the change in management. However when we went to see the renovations we were absolutely blown away! From the entrance, to the reception space, all the way to the bridal suite and outdoor patio, the entire venue has an airy, rustic elegance, and is absolutely stunning and romantic. We also met Kate, the sales manager, and Russ, at that time. They were both so accomodating and answered any questions that came up along the way. Their organization and personal experience really put our minds at ease. On the day of the wedding, everything went smoothly. The weather was gorgeous so we were able to have the ceremony outside, showcasing the breathtaking views and beautiful gardens. I couldn't get over how many places there were to take pictures! From the delicious food, to the attentive and friendly staff, I really could not come up with one complaint about the day. Our guests were so impressed with the venue and kept commenting on what a unique and beautiful choice it was. I'm so happy that we chose The Vineyards for our wedding and I would recommend them for any couple looking for a romantic and stunning event!

My husband and I decided to have our wedding at vineyard right away when we saw it. The food was amazing and most importantly the service was perfect. I have to say from start to finish vineyard was easy to work with. They truly are the best at what they do.

I don't even know where to start!! This venue did not only fit the style my husband and I were looking for, but it offered so much more!!! The entire staff, especially Eleni, went above and beyond for us. The cocktail hour and dinner food was impeccable! All of our guests raved about the location and food this venue had to offer! Our guests were able to walk around the beautifully , manicured grounds during cocktail hour! The staff was so understanding and helpful throughout the entire process of planning and told us not to hesitate if we had any questions! If you are thinking about getting married out east, love wine and want a beautiful venue, look no further this is the absolute perfect place for you!!

We are having trouble finding the words to express just how incredible this place really is. From the moment you meet with the banquet manager, Eleni, to the very last hour of your wedding, they treat you like royalty. Absolutely personable, respectful, caring and easy to work with from start to finish. They staff is amazing. The food is amazing. The grounds and ceremony area are amazing. Our guests have told us nonstop that it was hands down the best wedding they have ever been to! Thank you guys so much for making our wedding the best day of our lives. I highly recommend the Vineyards as both a ceremony location and reception venue. My wedding was on Jul 27, 2014. Throughout the entire process, Eleni and staff were very attentive and quick to respond. I had several guests tell me that it was the best/most fun wedding they've attended. The food/drinks were amazing, from cocktail hour through dessert. They coordinate the day at the venue, so I didn't have to worry about anything once I arrived and the entire evening ran smoothly. A definite best buy--living in NYC, I searched for venues from PA, NY, NJ, and the Vineyards offered the most for the money, AND was one of the most beautiful locations I saw.

If i could give these guys more than 5 stars, I would. My wedding day was absolutely perfect and I couldn't imagine our day at any other venue. The day I saw the vineyards I knew it was our place. Halfway through our planning process, they were bought by Lessing's and I wasn't sure what was going to happen. However, Russ and Kate made the switchover so smooth and all the cosmetic changes were for the better. Russ was our Maitre D and was an absolute pleasure to work with. He made sure the bride and groom, parents, and bridal party had drinks at all times throughout the photos and the reception and was on top of every little detail. Sarah was our bridal attendant and was an absolute doll. She bustled me up in less than 5 minutes and was there for whatever we needed. My favorite thing was how they wrote a little note on my cake box when we picked it up the next day and even signed one of our Jenga pieces for our guest book! Lessing's and this awesome team really know how to make everything perfect. My favorite story of the night is when an elderly guest complained that the music was too loud and threatened to unplug the DJ booth and Russ said "see that girl over there having a fantastic time on the dance floor? I'm here for her." Thanks Russ, Kate, Sarah, and everyone else at The Vineyards for the best night of my life!

I truly can't say enough good things about our experience at The Vineyards at Aquebogue. From our very first tour, we were blown away not just by how beautiful the venue is, but by the exceptional service we received from Kate and Emily. Kate alone made such an incredible impression during that first visit that we immediately knew this was the place for us.

Throughout the entire planning process, both Kate and Emily went above and beyond. They were always accommodating, responsive, and genuinely kind. No question was too small, and no request was ever a problem. Their professionalism and warmth made what could have been a stressful experience feel effortless.

After searching through many overpriced venues in the Hamptons, my mom had found the Vineyard Caterers. I will say it is extremely difficult to impress me with events, but the Vineyards certainly did impress me. The service and staff are so friendly, attentive and accomodating and listened and took care of every little detail I asked for to be included. My family and friends were in awe with the Vineyards and continue to rave at how wonderful our wedding was and how exceptional the food was. As a foodie/food writer myself, I was so impressed with the taste of the food. They were so nice to package up food for my husband and I to take home. Today we had Shrimp Wellington for dinner! The Vineyards went above and beyone and John and Bill are wonderful! My family said that "it must have cost a fortune." But it really didn't. There is so much food and such excellent service for an unbeatable value! Be sure to visit the Vineyards. I look forward to going back there again for other events in the future!! P.S. The grounds are breathtaking!

My husband and I wanted to get married at a vineyard but did not want to plan that much. The Vineyards was the perfect fit. The venue is beautiful which made for great pictures. We got married at the Vineyards on 12/7/24 and it was nothing short of amazing! Kate and Mike were extremely helpful throughout the entire planning process and answered any questions we had. The food was amazing and our guests were raving about it. The grounds are beautiful and we got so many amazing pictures. Everything about the Vineyards is just beautiful. The whole experience was completely relaxed and our wedding day was extremely organized and stress free. Us and our guests had a great time!

From the moment we saw The Vineyards we fell in love. It was exactly what we wanted, picturesque, one event at a time, big enough, it was perfect! We originally booked before Lessings took over and after the initial shock, they did not let us down. The renovations Lessings made only improved The Vineyard and made it more beautiful for our day. Kate answered all of my questions and emails in a timely manner and made us feel at ease from the minute she took over. The food was delicious, the ceremony space is gorgeous, the staff made the day run smoothly and our pictures could not be more beautiful in the vineyards. I wouldn't have changed anything about our day.

I had the pleasure of planning a wedding during a pandemic and Vineyards made it easier than I could’ve predicted! They were in constant contact with us through every delay and policy. Our guests are still talking about the absolutely stunning grounds as well as the delicious food. I truly hope to be a guest here one day soon!

The Vineyard Caterers was AMAZING. Hands down, the best decision we made involving our wedding. Throughout the 10-month planning process I always felt like Eleni and her staff were extremely helpful and responsive, and on the big day they really gave 100% to make sure everything was perfect. I didn\'t get married here -- just had our reception -- so I can\'t speak to the ceremony-side of things. But I can\'t imagine it would be anything less than phenomenal. Our guests have not stopped raving about the food, ambiance, service and beautiful grounds. I\'ve been to many a wedding that did not have all (or any) of the above, so the fact that we got such consistent feedback across the board really goes to show how wonderful this venue is. Of course the real icing on the cake is that we got an amazing price that was well below what you would expect for such an opulent venue. I loved everything about my experience and cannot recommend the Vineyard Caterers enough.

Vineyard Caterers vineyard is a truly amazing place to get married.Their gardens where just breath taking.The ballroom was nice and spacious for all fit all our guests. The food that was served was amazing i was very fond of the Salmon and my wife seemed to enjoy her Filet Mignon.They really made sure all our need where met and that is why I recommend this place to anyone who is planning a wedding.

EXCEPTIONAL. Everything about my wedding was all I could have wished for and so much more and it was in large part due to the amazing venue that we selected. The venue itself is classic elegance. The cocktail hour room is so beautiful overlooking the vineyard and graced with ivy on the ceiling. The food? Incredible. The spread they provide during cocktail hour is outstanding - our guests were raving about the food before they even had dinner! The dinner itself is so delicious and The Vineyards provides an array of options to suit every taste. Last but certainly not least: the people. As I mentioned, Eleni was fantastic to work with from day one and the day of staff were superb. They kept myself and my husband calm throughout the whole wedding and there was not a single need that was not met if not exceeded by them. They were so lovely and we were so gracious to have them by our sides for our special day. I only wish we could do it all over again! I would HIGHLY recommend this fantastic venue.

From the start, Eleni was incredibly helpful with providing us details on things outside of the venue -limos, cakes, hotels for guests, etc. As we got closer to the date, the value of the rest of the staff at the Vineyards really became known. We had the not-so-bright idea of giving guests succulents for favors, which meant frantically potting these plants into tiny containers a week before the wedding. We transported all of them to the venue the Wednesday before our wedding, completely unsure if they would survive until the day of. The Vineyards staff took care to water these things until the day of, even though we definitely think that's out of their job descriptions! On the wedding day, everyone was so helpful and knowledgeable. The grounds were stunning, the food was delicious and all of our guests noticed the attentive care of the staff. Our bridal attendant was fantastic at ensuring we ate and were properly hydrated (with both water and cocktails), and she taught us how to cut the cake together (really, that's a mystery until you have to do it in front of 100 people). My parents mentioned to me after the evening was over that when my sister got married at another venue on long island five years earlier, the hall hadn't helped at all with organizing the bride and groom items (bags, extra clothing/shoes, extra programs, little items that you accumulate throughout the day). My parents were left scrambling at the end of a long day, trying to make sure that they didn't leave anything behind. The Vineyards, on the other hand, had all of our items organized together at the end of the night and placed them on easy to move trolleys. The staff then helped our parents load all of these items into their cars. Finally, in a nice personal move, they also saved some cake for us, packaged in a container with a sweet note for us. We highly recommend them.

Kate was our sales person for our wedding. She was friendly, knowledgeable and super helpful when it came to answering our questions and providing ideas and suggestions based on her experience.
The venue itself is beautiful and the food was excellent. Many guests commented on how much they enjoyed everything.
We felt that we were slightly let down by our florist but the the Maitre D and staff at The Vineyards were a huge help in fixing the issues and making our day perfect.
I realize it's biased but it was the best wedding I've ever been to. They definitely know what they're doing there.
We got a few extras including the Champagne wall for after our ceremony (preformed at The Vineyards). It was beautiful and the Champagne with a small piece of fruit in the glass was a nice touch.
We also had the Gelato bar which had lots of "mix ins" and at the end of the night we had the pretzels and lemonade. Everybody loved every bit of it.
The personalized wine bottle gifts were both easy for us to plan and well liked by our guests.

My time was worth spent here. WE got off to a bumpy start because this location was bought half way through my wedding time. Things were getting crazy and Russ was able to accommodate all of our wedding needs. We did our wedding coctail hour in the ballroom and our reception on the patio. And it was amazing. Im going to break down a couple of things that i was looking for in the reviews...hope this helps!

The bridal suites. They stocked the room up with drinks and snacks so you are not fainting. I love that they have a suite for the guys and the girls. Its great!. You hear them but you dont see them. I had 11 bridesmaids and maid of honor, flower girl, mother of the bride, all of us fit comfortably in the room. the service was great. Russ was very attentive and the person he assigned to our room was a dream. We werent rushed out of the location.

The ceremony:
We had it outside and it was beautiful. It was amazing. I was so happy and impressed with the visual. It was great. No complaints the chairs were comfortable. Everyone was happy.

The Cocktail Hour:
We had our cocktail hour in the ballroom. My guests said that we had a buffet and standing service. the food was amazing. EVERYONE RAVED ABOUT THE FOOD. The food is so good. This location knows how to prepare food. My guests are foodies and own catering businesses and it was so amazing!

The reception:
The space was adequate for my guests we had 100 people on the patio and it was more than enough room. Visually under the patio was amazing. It was truly something different and so elegant. The service was impeccable and let me tell you they even offered second rounds! My guests could not stop talking about how amazing the service was. Russ went to each and every table and asked everyone if they needed something, or if they wanted more to drink. The attentiveness of the staff was amazing. Everyone left stuffed and happy. Truly an amazing choice. Russ went above and beyond for us. We all loved it!

Most perfect wedding venue EVER!! My wife and I got married on May 26th, 2018 at the Vineyards, and everything was absolutely perfect. From day one Kate and Russ were amazing and made the whole wedding planning process a breeze! They truly went above and beyond to make our day everything we had imagined and so much more. Before we could stress about an issue, they had it solved! The service was incredible.
Our guests are still talking about the venue's beauty and how incredible the food was. It has been over two weeks since our wedding and our friends and family are still raving about it! Between the natural breathtaking beauty of this venue, and the overly accommodating staff, our wedding day was a dream come true!!

The Vineyard Caterers was the venue for my dream wedding. From the location, to the delicious food, to the service, there's nothing I would change. The ceremony location was picture perfect. John, Eleni and the bridal assistant were always there to help me and my significant other during our busy day. Even when I was in the vineyard taking pictures, John and the bridal assistant would check up on us with water to make sure we weren't dehydrated. I had so many compliments on the cocktail hour and reception time food. I remember eating whenever possible and was very happy with how the food tasted. Also, the bridal and groom suites were spacious and always filled with food and drinks.

My Husband and I got married at the Vineyards on 11.11.2018. Needless to say we are still on the “wedding high” 9 months later. I know this review is a little tardy, but its worth the wait.

Where to begin. When we first visited The Vineyards, we were blown away by the ambiance, decor and breathtaking scenery. We saw a few places, and this venue was the one that we felt so connected too, we HAD to have our special day here.

Kate, Sales Manager/woman of many talents was our guide from the start. We asked 1 million questions, visited the venue ALOT (wish we could just live there) and felt so great about our choice because she and Russ made the process so seamless. We are VERY particular without being jerks and they accommodated EVERY request we had. The words “we can’t” were not in their vocabulary.

Cut to the day of…
We felt like It was a dream. We felt so calm as they had everything handled every second of the day. The food was excellent, all of our guests could not and STILL will not stop talking about how amazing it was. Everything cooked to perfection, everyone WELL fed, and accommodations made for those with special needs. In hindsight, the viennese hour was less than we had hoped but still great.

The staff was there to keep us calm and truly enjoy our wedding day. We felt so well taken care of, as did our guests. I would recommend this venue to anyone and I wish we could relive this day over and over. The Lessings team, especially Kate made for such a seamless and FUN experience. EVERY staff member felt like family and they ALL wanted us to have the best day.

As a gay couple, our wedding planning initially felt really hard because not every vendor is up with the times on being inclusive. From the start, the Vineyards provided such a welcoming, loving and inclusive experience. Every human and vendor should model how this team operates. We can’t thank them enough.

Vineyard Caterers was amazing. John was our personal attendant from day 1 and made us feel comfortable and at ease throughout the whole process. The food was amazing (and more than enough!) the cocktail hour was beautiful and even the ceremony being indoors (due to rain) was more beautiful than I would have ever imagined!

My wife and I had got married here this past weekend. From the very first time we saw the place we fell in love with the outdoor space. The tranquil pond and waterfall on the side of a beautiful white ceremonial arbor surrounded by vines and flowers with a vineyard as a backdrop is absolutely breathtaking. Eleni, the manager, was an absolute delight to work with. She was patient, very personable and answered every question. Even after we booked the place she continued to be very accommodating and responsive. We have changed the general order of the proceedings with cocktail hour being first followed by the ceremony and then the reception, which is something they've never done before. The day of the wedding the execution and service was flawless! They were attentive, the staff was amazing and the food was delicious. They truly cater to your needs and style which makes it very personable. Our guests raved of how beautiful and unique the place is. Thank you Eleni and the whole staff for making our wedding day the best day of our lives!

I don’t even know where to begin.

Around spring ‘23 my husband and I looked at a few venues on Long Island and did a ton of research around the NY/NJ area as well. We narrowed it down to our top three. When we visited the Vineyards and after speaking with Kate, we knew we found our venue. We weren’t looking for your typical cookie cutter venue, but the Vineyards had the beauty of the outdoors and indoors setting. Making room for plenty, creating the type of wedding fitting any individuals needs. Working in this industry in the past, I know how people can treat others, the importance of going according to plan, as well as the fast pace high stress environments that comes along with it. Therefore, it was extremely important for us to build good/welcoming rapports with our venue/vendors. With that, the Vineyards most definitely SERVED! Kate is such a warm, welcoming and genuine person. Kate’s warmth and professionalism made this the easiest decision of wedding planning. We trusted Kate which also meant putting our trust in the vendors they partnered with. Anyone who is getting married here should definitely invest in one of the packages. We did the premium package and had some of Long Island’s best wedding vendors. From floral (HUGE shout out to Verbena Designs) to cake to transportation, they had everything covered. It almost felt like a steal! Everyone and everything was just so beautiful. Even times when things didn’t go according to plan, Kate saved the day by offering us last minute wine favors with our picture. It was something I always wanted to do and she made it come true. Our guests could not stop RAVING about how beautiful our venue was. How good the staff were to them. With so many formalities, traditions old and new, we tend to forget what we’re really here for at the end of the day. Our wedding felt exactly how it should feel, a celebration.

Overall 20/10. Cocktail Hour and dinner should have its own dedicated review. Don’t even double guess it, the vineyards at aquebogue offered everything and more. Bridal /groomsmen suite are large with a scenic view. The food is probably one of the best wedding caters I’ve ever experienced. A week later and I’m still thinking about the seafood stuffed flounder with shrimp and lobster cream sauce!!!

I had my absolute dream wedding. Not only was the vineyard absolutely picture perfect for a summer wedding, but the bridal attendant I had, Kate, and the maitre d, Russ. were there for us every step of the way. They anticipated everything we could possibly need from fluffing my gown and carrying my veil before walking down the aisle, or boxing up the food we weren't able to eat! I was so nervous before the wedding but having them there by my side, making sure everything was running smoothly, helped me enjoy my night. The bride and groom each have their own rooms to get ready in, the views are unparalleled, and every employee was so professional. I have been to several weddings and this place is THE place to get married!

My husband and I were married at The Vineyards on September 21, 2018. Almost 6 months later, our families and friends still cannot stop talking about what a beautiful venue and amazing experience it was! We knew we wanted a rustic / vineyard themed wedding, but once we visited The Vineyards and met Russ, we instantly knew it was the one. We booked our wedding about a year and a half out, shortly after Lessings took it over. The venue was still in the process of being renovated when we booked, but Russ helped us envision the end product, and he more than delivered on that. We booked our wedding with Russ and followed up with numerous calls and emails full of questions along the way . He was always extremely responsive and accommodating, putting any potential concerns we may have had at ease. Russ ended up being our maître d’ and ran a seamless experience from beginning to end. We opted for the early package to get ready on site, which I highly recommend. The entire staff was very professional and attentive throughout the entire day. Around sunset, Russ took us and our photographer (Kaitlyn Ferris = best ever) out on the golf cart to capture photos in the gorgeous setting. He even set up this adorable boat in the pond, which I was admittedly very nervous to get into, but it ended up working out for the perfect shots! We opted for the game package during cocktail hour, and it was a huge hit with our guests. The food from cocktail hour to dinner to dessert was absolutely AMAZING! It is very rare that you can food at a wedding venue that is this good – chef and team are phenomenal and our guests couldn’t stop complimenting everything. They even offered seconds after dinner! My husband and I danced the night away and the staff always had a drink and food waiting for us at our table. We ended up adding the bungalow ice-cream truck last minute, and I am SO happy we did because it was such a huge hit with our guests! We also held our after-party on premises – and the staff delivered again. We added the fire pit and bistro lights which really extended the space and let guests continue to explore the grounds, even into the night. We wish we could re-live the experience all over again. Truly cannot thank Russ and the entire Vineyards staff enough for bringing our vision to life and for hosting the best day of our lives!

The Vineyard was a great choice for our daughters wedding. It looked beautiful, the food was great, the staff amazing and Russ, he really went out of his way to make the day go exactly how we wanted it to. I highly recommend any future bride and groom to book here!!

We can't say enough about how great this venue was for our wedding! It is a picture perfect location and the food is amazing. We have not stopped receiving comments from our guests on how it was the best cocktail hour they have ever been to and how fantastic the service was. They were also very easy to deal with on the planning side of things. Bill and John are great and a lot of help. We already want to plan another party there!

So happy!! We had our June wedding here I loveeee this place!!!! Bill, Johnny, Eleni and the staff are amazing. The night went perfect and they waited on us hand and foot. Everything we asked for was done and more. Johnny worked with all the other vendors and made sure that we were concentrated on nothing but enjoying our day, he was indispensable in making our day what it was. Our bridal assistant was also a pleasure, getting us anything we needed throughout the night. All of our guests enjoyed themselves and raved about the service. All in all we would give this venue 10 stars if we could and we can't wait to attend the next party here!

We could not have been happier with the Vineyards. From our first meeting with them up until the end of the reception everything was perfect. During the planning process every email was answered immediately. There was no stress planning the wedding with Eleni and Bill. Elena was very attentive to my daughter during the reception. Thanks, Elena, for your help bustling the dress...that was the only thing I stressed about all night! We had only heard wonderful things about The Vineyard's before my daughter and son in law's wedding and they definitely did not disappoint.

From the moment I called the Vineyards, not only was Kate responsive, but she was incredibly warm and helpful. That genuine amazing character and excellent execution and professionalism ran through during the whole process of signing up, choosing the venue, tastings, and just general questions and special selections for our special day. They were accommodating to my closest family members and their needs. Russ and Kate did an incredible job of making sure we were ready for our special day. My husband and I were married on September 14, 2012 at The Vineyards. I don't even know where to start because our entire experience with The Vineyards was AMAZING from the very beginning to the moment we left the building after our reception. The Vineyards was the first and only venue that my husband and I looked at for our wedding. Once we saw the beautiful grounds & rustic decor, our dream wedding fell right into place. But, the best part about The Vineyards is the people. Russ and Kate made the planning process so easy and enjoyable. They are both extremely responsive to questions and very accommodating. My bridal party had to arrive at the venue at 7am to start hair and makeup for my Sunday afternoon wedding, and Russ was there to greet us with hot coffee and champagne. I cannot say enough about them and how wonderful they are to work with. My bridal attendant Julia and maitre d' Jamie were just as amazing. I never had to ask for a drink or something to eat, because those two were one step ahead. Whatever my husband and I needed throughout the day/night, they were on it. The food and service was phenomenal; all of our guests were so impressed that they were offered seconds for dinner! And we were even packed with to-go bags of the leftover food. Our guests are still talking about our wedding over a month later. I wish I could give The Vineyards 10 stars. THANK YOU for the best day of our lives!

The Vineyard Caterers made our wedding dreams come true! My husband and I were married this past July and we couldn't be more thrilled how our day turned out. We were blessed with the most beautiful day and The Vineyards site was the most picturesque scene. It was literally like a dream. The staff were pleasant and all went above and beyond (Eleni, Elena, and Jill were EXCEPTIONAL!!!). All of my requests were filled, everything was placed perfectly, the food was delicious - honestly we could not have asked for more! Thank you for everything!!!

I loved getting married at The Vineyards! The venue itself is beautiful, and the grounds are well maintained. We got truly amazing photos in the vineyards and all over the property. You really can't beat the beauty of the North Fork in the summer! My guests loved the food, the beautiful cocktail hour space, and the intimate setting since there is only one wedding at a time. Eleni was a pleasure to deal with throughout the planning. She is professional and organized. The day of my wedding there was a strong possibility of rain, but Eleni and the Vineyards team assured me that our ceremony would be outside if there was any way possible. Apparently it poured a mile away, but somehow not at The Vineyards, and my dream of getting married outside came true! Another venue might not want to risk it, but Eleni and Bill made it happen. Overall, I recommend The Vineyards if you want a beautiful outdoor wedding!

All I have to say is WOW! Eleni and the entire staff at the Vineyards really go out of their way to make sure you have the best day every and I am so happy to say that our wedding was perfect! Throughout the entire wedding planning process Eleni answered all of our questions and was very prompt at returning emails and phone calls. Our bridal attendant and maitre d' were also amazing! It was like they knew what I needed even before I had to ask. The cocktail hour is beautiful and the grounds are perfect. Food is GREAT! We had guests coming up to us all night saying how great everything about the venue was!

Where do I start? The Vineyards was the most perfect venue for our wedding. Everything about it, the staff, the food, the grounds, was perfect! The North Fork of Long Island is a very special place for my husband and I. We just love it out there and knew that was where we wanted to tie the knot. We looked into a few of the wineries out there and could not believe the exorbitant site fees. Plus nothing was in house, you had to hire multiple vendors. I am a location manager and producer in my daily life- the last thing I wanted to do was produce my wedding day. We got engaged in February and we wanted to get married the same year in September. I knew dates would be limited with only 7 months to plan but we were determined to not wait another year. We called Eleni and she had an afternoon slot on a Saturday in September available. We booked it site unseen just off the website and reviews and are so glad that we did! When we went for our site visit we were so pleased. It's so much more beautiful in person than in the photos and that's tough to beat!

What I loved most about The Vineyards was that they were a one stop shop. Everything was included in the per person price including staff fees. And the food is amazing! Our guests are still talking about how delicious everything was! After the cocktail hour was over they couldn't believe that there was more food! And they even offer seconds after the main course. Incredible! The staff is super friendly and Eleni is the best! She made planning the wedding so easy. She gets back to you right away with questions and offers advice. She recommended the florist we ended up using as well as the bakery. It was very important to me to use local vendors so everyone we hired was right down the road! We also loved our Maitre D Elena and Gillian, my bridal attendant was lovely.

Beyond Beautiful both inside and out. Amazing food, personalized food, and PLENTY of it. The day was 100% perfect!!!! Every guest said it was the best and most beautiful and delicious wedding they had ever been to.

Wonderful, Beautiful, Perfect! We loved every moment of our ceremony and reception. Every detail was attended to and I felt like I was the first bride that had every had a wedding there. The wedding package was very reasonable for this day and age. The only problem was not having a lot of time before or after the wedding to set up and break down everything because of other weddings coming in. However, there were so many people helping me that it all went smoothly anyway. It was truly and dream and I loved every moment of it!

When we first visited The Vineyards at Aquebogue, we knew right away that this is where we wanted to host our wedding ceremony and reception. The venue is absolutely stunning. The vineyards and the rest of the grounds are very well maintained. I would say that The Vineyards is the perfect blend of rustic and chic… with just the right amount of romantic and sophisticated. We were very fortunate to get good weather on our wedding day, so we were able to use the outdoor ceremony space that overlooks the vineyards. We are so grateful for that. This space was beautifully transformed into an absolute dream. All of the guests who attended our wedding raved about the beautiful vineyards and that perfect, intimate outdoor ceremony space. A few guests even mentioned that it was the most beautiful ceremony setting they'd ever been to! The cocktail hour space was another area all of my guests loved, and the indoor reception space was beautiful and spacious… perfect to accommodate all of our guests and leave a ton of room to dance. It really is a wonderful venue and space.

One of the things I really loved about The Vineyards (and probably the second most important reason why I booked this venue for my wedding - being how beautiful the venue is reason #1) was the fact that a lot of the elements of the wedding are provided in house, including the catering, the rentals, the wedding day staff… even the cake can be ordered through a specific bakery that they work with! It was such an amazing feeling knowing I didn’t have to worry about hiring a huge number of vendors. It gave me an incredible amount of time to focus on planning the details of my wedding weekend. On my wedding day, I was so happy to see that all of my details were placed and organized exactly how I wanted them. All I had to do was drop everything off at the venue a week before the celebration, provide some simple instructions for the staff, and they took care of making sure everything was were it had to be. The morning of my wedding I didn't have to worry for one second about anything other than getting ready with my girls and having fun.

The food at the cocktail hour and the reception was fantastic… tasty, fresh… and there was sooo much of it! After the cocktail hour was over, many of my guests were surprised to find out that there was even more food coming! I’m pretty sure everybody was stuffed by the end of the night.

The staff at the venue was outstanding. Throughout the whole planning process, Kate was a pleasure to deal with. She was always courteous, professional and organized. She always responded kindly to my emails and tried to work with me as best as she could in order to accommodate my requests. On the actual wedding day, the service from the maitre d', the bridal attendant and all the other staff was fabulous. All of my guests had incredible things to say about how smoothly the day went, and how friendly and helpful everyone was at the venue.

The only thing I would like to point out that I wasn’t 100% happy about was the fact that, in order to accommodate another wedding that same morning on the Saturday my wedding was held, the venue told us our ceremony could only be held between 6 and 7 pm so that they could have enough time to escort the first party out and set up for our wedding. A part of me wishes we could have scheduled the ceremony an hour or two earlier so that we would have had an extra hour or two for post-ceremony, outdoor "husband and wife" photos at their beautiful grounds prior to the sun setting at 7 pm. On top of the small window for my ceremony, the venue gave us a bit of a hard time regarding the hours we could use their indoor space and their grounds prior to the start of our ceremony. They didn’t allow us to arrive until two hours prior to 6 pm. By that time (because of the ceremony and sunset times), we needed to be done with all of my “getting ready” photos, my bridal portraits, our “first look” and bride/groom portraits. I had envisioned taking all of these photos in their beautiful bridal suite and around their vineyards/outdoor grounds, but we hardly got an opportunity to take photos at the actual venue and had to do a ton of photos at our hotel and at a nearby vineyard. Sadly, we only used the grounds at The Vineyards to shoot bridal party and family photos in the area behind the venue and then had to run inside to hide away before the ceremony. We also hardly used their beautiful bridal suite and comfortable groom’s lounge because the two hours or so we were allowed to be at the venue prior to our ceremony were used for the outdoor photos I mentioned previously.

Despite this last aspect, I was very happy with our choice for our wedding venue. My now-husband and I loved every single moment of our ceremony and our reception at The Vineyards. Our wedding was fabulous and that was in huge part thanks to all that The Vineyards team did on that day. We have received nothing but compliments from all of our guests. I would definitely recommend this venue to all Long Island brides!

Everything was beautiful. They were very attentive.

We had our ceremony outside and the scenery was stunning! We did our first look by the weeping willow tree. There were chickens in the background which was soo cool (we are chicken people)! The ceremony area is lined with pretty flowers and a backdrop of greenery and the vineyards. They also allowed our dogs to be there for photos and the ceremony. It means the world to us that we had our babies there! The venue was super helpful with decorating and breaking down the decorations. They allowed us to come back the next day to pick them up. Kate answered our questions right away throughout the planning process. The food was to die for!!! All our guests were raving about it and still are! The bridal suite is comfortable and large. There is even a deck balcony that you can go on and take pictures that overlooks the vineyards and outdoor ceremony area.
*For vendors we did the vendor package. Since we didn’t need transportation we took that out of the package. We also got the ice cream favor cart but honestly we could have taken that out as well because not many guests took advantage of it when leaving. Maybe it would have been better if we had it in the reception area instead of the welcome/lobby area as they were leaving.

The venue is newly refurbished and looks amazing. I booked it under the old management, none the less, a smooth transition. They are so responsive and professional. The food was knock your socks off delicious, as well, nothing but compliments from my guests. Bridal suite and groom's suite and huge and awesome. My only complaint was when my guests started to arrive for a wine service, I saw 2 separate couples being shown the venue DURING MY WEDDING. Mind you-there is only one wedding at a time. So to be overlooking the balcony at your guests as they arrive at the reception and see 2 potential customers walking around the venue on a tour in jeans and t-shirts was kind of upsetting to see. I recommend if you have a wedding going on and guests arriving at that time-do not show the venue for a tour-reserve the tours for off-peak hours, not prime time Saturday evening. Other than that, I have no complaints and my wedding day was wonderful.

Everyone who attended our wedding said it was the most beautiful setting they'd been to. The food was fantastic, the outdoor ceremony area (with view of vineyard and a waterfall) was so romantic, and the service was everything you could ask for. John went above and beyond. There's a great bridal and groom suite that we were able to use for the whole day. I could not have asked for more.

Loved The Vineyards! Guest still cannot stop talking about how amazing the food was. Very beautiful place to get married. One piece of advice: insist upon tasting your signature drink before hand and give the bartenders a recipe. We did not give a recipe (was not mandatory so I though trust the bartenders, one less thing for us to do!) and did not insist upon tasting the drink prior to our wedding. We were truly disappointed when we tasted our signature drink for the first time and it literally burned of harsh alcohol. Turns out the bartender made the drink wrong!!! It was quickly fixed, but it was too late. Some of my guests had gotten the bad batch and commented to us at a later point that the signature drink was a slight bust...other than that reception was perfect! Bridal attendant was fantastic.

One side note: working with the administration was somewhat frustrating. We understand it's not the typical cookie cutter venue, but you do feel like a dime a dozen bridal couple. Just ignore the sometimes cold interactions, which honestly, do not matter when it comes to your day. The important thing is they got the job done.

We recently had our wedding at The Vineyards and out of the 150 guests we had, about 90% of them went out of their way to tell us it was the best night of their life. We worked for over a year with Eleni to make it the wedding of our dreams and they fulfilled everything we wanted! It was the most incredible night of our lives because of the thoroughness and detailed staff. They went above and beyond to make sure my family and myself and my husband were happy. The staff is incredible, outdoor ceremony gorgeous and food was impeccable (and we're tough Long Island critics!!). Recommend this venue highly! One word of caution - make sure the wedding before yours is over AT LEAST 2 hours prior to yours. The wedding before us (lunch wedding) was still going on when we arrived which I was not thrilled about - but besides this, everything was stunning and it was absolutely perfect.

I am leaving this review based on the Vineyards lack of professionalism. My husband and I booked our wedding for October 2020 but unfortunately COVID caused us to postpone to the following year. After deciding to get married on our original date, we chose to cancel our postponed 2021 date. Kate and Russ were understanding, however; I was told I was not entitled to a refund until the date was rebooked. It is now nearly a year later and the date is not rebooked and I have not been refunded. My emails have gone unanswered and there has been no evidence of the date attempting to be sold. It is a very disappointing position to be in. They are withholding thousands of dollars from my husband and I for circumstances out of our control.
