I cannot say enough good things about the Verandah Club and Kaitlin. They were the perfect venue for our day and I couldn't imagine us getting married anywhere else. From the start, Kaitlin was always responsive to my e-mails and many many questions throughout the process. She followed though on just about every request that we had leading up to the day and on the day. She even honored a request that she previously told me she couldn't do, going above and beyond ALWAYS.
I highly recommend hiring Kaitlin as your day-of coordinator. Not only did she keep everything organized, she is always on hand to cater to anything you need when getting ready there! She will literally drop what she is doing to make sure your every need is taken care of. She is tough as nails and the sweetest person I have ever met.
I also have not stopped getting compliments on the FOOD. Everyone loved the food and keep raving about it to us whenever they get the chance! We had chicken franchaise and carved prime rib. YUM. The bar services were also incredible! Kaitlin ordered ingredients for us to make sure that we could have one of our signature cocktails and will order anything that you prefer if they do not have it. Another example of how they go above and beyond.
Overall, from the beautiful Oaks at the ceremony, the amazing food, the comfortable reception space, and KAITLIN, our day was perfect and I would recommend anyone to have their wedding here. We wanted to avoid golf courses/country clubs when we were searching for venues out of personal choice but we couldn't get over how much we loved Verandah and what they had to offer. Thank you so much to Kaitlin and the Verandah club team for making our day something we will remember for the rest of our lives. -

The Verandah Club was amazing! I highly recommend. We got married at the Verandah Club this past February and it was absolutely incredible! Not only was it a beautiful location but Kaitlin and her staff were incredible to work with. I can't say enough great things about Kaitlin. As a bride she made sure the day and my vision went off without a hitch. She was so accommodating and so easy to work with and truly took so much stress off of me. First I wanna say this venue is beautiful and the staff is amazing !!! We got married February 17,2024 and couldn’t have had a more special day without the help of the employees at the verandah especially Kaitlin. As our wedding coordinator Throughout the entire planing process to the day of she was on point . Answered any questions and or problems that came up :) she handled everything she’s a pro. We got married under the beautiful oak trees and our reception was in the ball room . The bartenders were awesome all of the guests enjoyed themselves. If you are planing on getting married this is the place ! -

I genuinely don't even know where to begin this review, our experience from start to finish with Kaitlin and the whole Verandah staff was out of this world. My husband and I knew from the very start of our planning process that Verandah Club was the venue we wanted to get married. We viewed other venues, but none checked all the boxes like Verandah. From the enchanting old oaks with draping Spanish moss, to the spectacular reception hall, it was everything we imagined our wedding to be. And then we met Kaitlin, and we knew there was no other option for us. Kaitlin went above and beyond to meet every question, every worry, every moment of panic throughout the whole planning process with patience and caring and understanding. She treated us like friends, she was invested in making our dreams come true. She never once made us feel like this was just a job for her, even though at the end of the day it was. She went out of her way to ensure we had everything we wanted present the day of the wedding. She and her staff made our wedding day as stress free and blissful as possible. From the beginning of the wedding day to the very end, we could not have asked for more. Superior service, superior staff, superior venue, SUPERIOR Coordinator. RUN, don't walk, and book your wedding with The Verandah Club immediately! -

Outstanding
There are no words to describe the amazing staff at verandah club. Kaitlin is honestly one of the most wholesome and thoughtful people I have ever met. If anyone is considering whether or not to add her as your day of coordinator, DO IT! She came in handy in more ways than one. Even months before our wedding I knew I could call her or email her and she was there to answer any questions I had. I had food poisoning a few days before our wedding and she knew my stomach was still recovering and she took it upon herself to ask the chef to make me something I could stomach.
I have received SO MANY compliments on her staff as well. People have said how friendly, fun and most importantly ATTENTIVE they were.
I wish I could have had more of the food because it is amazing!! We went with the river house buffet and have also received many compliments on how great the food was.
My wedding day felt effortless and that’s all due to kaitlin and her staff at verandah club. If I could do it all over again I would!! -

There are no words for the wonderful service we received from Kaitlin, Dakota, Misty, & the rest of the staff. Our experience from start to finish was beyond 10 stars. Kaitlin was always responsive to any phone calls or emails very quickly. We also had her for our day of coordinator, & that was the smartest money we spent. She made sure we were on the same page vision wise, & when any small problem arose, she handled it without 25 phone calls to me for minor things. When I walked into the reception for the 1st time, I almost cried it was so beautiful! It was everything I was hoping for & more. The venue is stunning, the food was excellent. I just can't say enough about the staff. They interact professionally, yet in a fun manner. Dakota & Misty went out of their way to be helpful during the entire process as well. If The Verandah Club is on your list of venues for consideration, you will not regret taking the next step and booking them! -

We are so happy with how our wedding turned out at the Verandah. Kaitlin is EXCELLENT and her team was friendly, highly professional and a pleasure to work with. Kaitlin was there from A to Z from the first site visit and rehearsal lunch to our entire wedding day. She made sure that every little detail was captured. I felt very much at ease knowing that she had it covered. The venue has a beautiful outdoor ceremony space with oak trees/spanish moss, which provide nice shade for the guests. The indoor space was used for our cocktail hour and reception, and it is a great space. The flow of events went nicely thanks to the space and the organization. Food was awesome, service was fantastic, and the staff was so wonderful. It really was a beautiful celebration for us and our almost 70 guests. Have your wedding HERE. I just did and we couldn't be happier! For starters, it's gorgeous. Like really, really beautiful. The ballroom has large windows overlooking the river and allows you to feel as though you are outside. The live oak trees are a picturesque backdrop giving you the most stunning wedding (and photos)! However, not only are the indoor and outdoor spaces at The Verandah absolutely beautiful, Kaitlin was wonderful. Kaitlin assisted me with my questions and requests all throughout my planning and on our wedding day! She was so attentive. Kaitlin checked in with my husband and I throughout the day and touched base with my parents to make sure that everything was how it should be. The entire Verandah team made our wedding so amazing. Our guests absolutely loved the food (we had a buffet) and are still ranting and raving about it today! It was delicious and HOT! It was the perfect wedding and we couldn't have done it without the amazing staff that took such great care of us!The Verandah Club's reply:

The Verandah Club and all of their staff made our wedding the best day ever. Specifically, Kaitlin Rook (the Club's coordinator) made sure our day went off without a hitch. Kaitlin was immediately responsive to any emails/correspondence with questions that either of us had and provided an endless amount of guidance throughout the planning process. Kaitlin came on board at the Verandah just a few months shy of our wedding. We were a little nervous to start all over with someone new, but Kaitlin hit the ground running and did not miss a beat. I was so confident in her planning expertise, that I also hosted my bridal shower at the Verandah, which similar to the wedding day, was perfect. Kaitlin is an asset to the Verandah Club and any brides that are able to work with her, will see that! Thank you Kaitlin and all of your staff for making our day the best day ever. This place is a beautifully hidden gem and it was the perfect place to get married. Brooke was so amazing at helping our day go so smoothly. Absolutely stunning venue
Absolutely stunning venue and definitely more affordable than a lot of other venues with a lot of options. The food was amazing and the views, cannot beat it. My guests enjoyed the wedding so much. Brooke, the venue’s coordinator, was such a pleasure to work with. She was so flexible and was just so helpful. She helped me set up a timeline for the wedding, and coordinated with our photographers, DJ, and officiator. When I needed last minute unseen changes, she was so courteous about it and took care of it. I cannot say enough good things about her. If you’re thinking about seeing this venue, do it!!! You will not regret booking this venue whatsoever. -

I cannot say enough good things about Brooke and The Verandah Club. Brooke has been there every step of the way- even through COVID, she answered every question and concern. Any time myself, husband, or parents had a concern, she did everything to address it. I have a very large Italian family with a lot of opinions. She handled everyone as if she was apart of the family. On the day of the wedding she came in to check on everyone and keep the day organized. She always has such a bright and smiling face, which is always comforting especially the wedding day. My entire family has been ranting and raving about how beautiful the ceremony and reception was. We got married in May outside. I was concerned about the heat, however Brooke was right as always and it is a lot cooler under the tree! We chose the Verandah because we loved the outdoor ceremony site under the beautiful trees, and wanted an indoor reception. It was absolutely perfect; everything was already so stunning that we did minimal decorations (just added our own flair) and had a gorgeous wedding day. Brooke is such a delight to work with and made the planning process that much easier, and was an absolute lifesaver the day of the wedding, ensuring that everything was going smoothly and we understood what was happening. The staff was friendly and professional, and they cleaned up the reception in record time, making the end of the day a breeze. I cannot recommend the Verandah enough!
PS The food was absolutely delicious! I was worried about being locked into using the venue's catering, but it made things so much simpler and everything was great! -

Excellent!
We had our reception here 10/24/20 and it could not have been better. The coordinator, Brooke, was wonderful to work with, replied quickly, and was very flexible for our needs, especially when we had to make a few changes due to COVID. The food was excellent, the space was perfect and easy to decorate, and the grounds were beautiful. We received many compliments on the location and the food and would most certainly recommend having your wedding or big celebration here. -

Brooke at the Verandah was amazing. Planning a wedding during a pandemic wasn’t easy, but planning with Brooke was. She is responsive, and answered my 1,000 emails. The day of the wedding went smooth and she was there to make sure we stuck to our timeframe. In addition to Brooke, I can’t say how gorgeous the venue is. My experience with this vendor was amazing! We got married on 2/8/2020 and it was such a beautiful and perfect day.
I would recommend this venue to future couples because it was extremely affordable and Brooke was very helpful with everything. She answered every question we had super quick. I truly believe this is the most beautiful place to get married! The service was amazing the entire time, even before the wedding. Brooke made sure we had all we needed and wanted on our wedding day. Brooke is truly amazing
I cannot say enough positive things about our experience with The Verandah and Brooke. We initially had to change our wedding date because of a scheduling conflict and Brooke was able to change the date no questions asked. Planning a wedding can be very stressful - worrying about every detail, but Brooke made the process so much easier! She is incredibly professional and I trusted her completely. Also, the space itself is very beautiful and the big trees are just stunning! -

An Amazing Venue
The Verandah Club is without a doubt the ideal wedding venue. The location is just beautiful, from the romantic oak trees, to the elegant clubhouse. It was an amazing experience having our wedding reception there. We really enjoyed the venue the whole day- from getting ready in the bridal suite that morning, to our first look to our reception. Being surrounded by the natural scenery was so relaxing, and beautiful to take in the day. And the service fell nothing short, it was top quality. The banquet coordinator, Brooke, is incredible. Brooke was so helpful, and very detailed. She takes note of what you want that day, and makes it happen. She remembers all the little details you want, and is always quick to touch base and respond any requests/questions. On our wedding day, she was literally present at every moment and any time we needed her. She was on top of it all to make sure everything ran smoothly for our pictures and wedding reception. She also made sure we ran on time, and made sure everything was going as planned. Words cannot express how much we appreciate her hard work and dedication for our wedding day. We’re so happy we were able to work with her, and use the Verandah Club as our venue. They work with different budgets, give amazing service, and strive to give you what you want. The Verandah Club is 100% a perfect venue for your special day! I worked with Brooke for about a year and a half planning every detail of my wedding. Brooke was extremely responsive and helpful. She gave me wonderful recommendations for different vendors and really made planning a wedding stress-free.
The venue is beautiful. My guests could not stop telling me how beautiful the grounds were and the interior of the clubhouse. Getting married outside under the tree is stunning!
The food was absolutely delicious, again all my guests kept telling me how delicious their dinners were. The staff at the Verandah Club were so professional and helped make our day perfect.

Wedding Dream
I couldn’t have imagined having our wedding anywhere other than the Verandah. I can’t say enough good things about the people there, especially Brooke. The venue is absolutely gorgeous and I never had to worry about a single thing because Brooke made sure that everything was effortlessly flawless. I can’t thank her enough. Brooke was a pleasure to work with from the moment we toured the venue. She answered all our questions on a timely manner. She kept in contact with us through the whole process and made us feel at ease. My experience at the verandah with Brooke was amazing! It was everything I expected and more. The price for booking the outdoor location for the ceremony was very affordable . Brooke arranged all the chairs before the wedding and made sure everything was going as planned. She was professional and very kind. She answered all my 202 questions in a timely manner. Our daughter and her husband held their wedding reception at the Verandah Club and it was beyond exceptional! Being from Chicago and having to plan long distance, was somewhat concerning; however, we could not have imagined working with a more professional wedding coordinator than Brooke! We had over 160 out of town guests, and everyone was so impressed by the welcoming venue and genuinely friendly staff. Brooke’s insights were spot-on and she was extremely detailed-oriented and organized and enthusiastic which is everything you want when planning a wedding. The grand ballroom and outdoor grounds were simply beautiful; and the menu and bar selections were second to none. We served a sit-down dinner with a choice of filet mignon, sage and prosciutto chicken, and blackened Mahi Mahi....absolutely delicious! We were able to offer unique specialty cocktails, have passed appetizers, as well as an amazing bruschetta bar, bring many of our own special photo and decorating touches, and host a reception which was fantastic from beginning to end! The built-in dance floor, outdoor patios, up-lighting, gorgeous windows, and room layout were also very inviting and led to a lively and fun reception. Several other things worth noting...the bartenders were tremendous and kept our guests very happy, the club had golf carts to escort the bridal party around the grounds for photos, the bridal room was lovely, and literally ALL of our guests expressed how wonderful the venue was. Everything we asked of Brooke and the Verandah Club was absolutely surpassed...we will always be grateful to them for making our children’s wedding day a truly special and memorable one! -

The Verandah Club is beyond beautiful, and the perfect backdrop for a wedding. Besides the venue and the beautiful grounds, the staff truly make this place amazing. I could not have asked for a better person to coordinate with - Brooke was beyond amazing and super responsive. As a bride with no professional planning, just my mom and I, she made this such an easy process and her banquet staff were perfect. I can honestly say I had no hiccups in my wedding day and she was on top of EVERYTHING and it went so smoothly. My husband and I looked at places all over Fort Myers to have our wedding, but the Verandah was without a doubt “the one,” and we both knew it right away. Brooke, the wedding coordinator, was extremely prompt and flexible with wedding dates for us even though our wedding was only 7 months out. Everything I could have ever wanted, Brooke was able to do. She gave incredible suggestions and ideas for our special day. Brooke really was the star that made everything happen on our wedding day.
The grounds of the club are absolutely magical, with the romantic trees and Spanish moss. There were so many places to take pictures. We were able to sample many options for our plated dinner, and our final decisions came out absolutely beautiful and delicious on our wedding day. We were and still are unbelievably impressed.

The Verandah Club was the first venue we visited and we immediately knew it was where we wanted to have our wedding. The wedding coordinator Brooke is beyond helpful in every way, super quick to respond to any questions and amazing at working with you to keep your wedding within your desired budget. The day of the wedding was perfect due to Brooke and the amazing staff: seeing them calm and running everything smoothly made me feel like I could enjoy the day and not have to worry about what was going on behind the scenes, because I knew they were on top of it all. The food was incredible and the settings in the ceremony and reception areas were clean and well kept. I could go on and on about how much I love the Verandah Club, but you can see for yourself--please go check it out, you will fall in love with it immediately!

Amazing Venue & Staff!
We HIGHLY recommend The Verandah Club! I knew I wanted an outdoor ceremony space with an indoor reception...the oak grove ceremony site and the gorgeous River House were exactly what I was looking for. The club provides an all-inclusive package with food and beverage, tables, chairs, linen, china, silver, bridal suite, and event staff. This made the planning process super easy. The River House is beautiful and needs very little additional decor to really dress it up - we used simple floral and lantern centerpieces and selected colored napkins from the included linen options and that was it! The meal options were extensive (and could easily be adjusted to fit our budget) and everything was delicious! Many of our guests commented about how great the food tasted. Brooke is amazing...we worked very closely with her to plan the entire day. She was always responsive via e-mail and we met with her in person several times to walk through everything. Brooke was present the entire day of our wedding. She greeted us in the morning for set-up, coordinated vendors, made sure we had everything we needed in the bridal suite, shuttled guests and the bridal party to the ceremony site, coordinated the ceremony line up, drove us around with the photographer for post-ceremony photos, and coordinated the flow of the reception. She even took care of hanging my silk flowers on the ceremony arbor! The service we received throughout the day was absolutely exceptional! We had our own designated service staff to make sure we, as the bride and groom, had a chance to eat, drink, and enjoy our night. The entire staff was friendly, prompt, and genuinely cheerful. We really felt as though they wanted our day to be perfect! I really can't say enough about how pleased we were with our experience...I'd do it all over again!

I couldn’t have asked for a better place for my wedding! The verandah is beautiful and provides such an exquisite setting for a wedding ceremony and the reception area is just as nice. Brooke kept us all calm through the whole process and was always a help as we needed it during wedding planning and made the whole day go so smoothly. All the staff are helpful and nice and aid in again the day going as smooth as possible. When my husband and I decided to have a destination wedding (we live in Chicago), we knew we wanted to have our reception at Verandah! My parents live in the community, and I've been there several times for various events, and have always been impressed! Let me tell you, they exceeded our expectations! Brooke (events and hospitality coordinator) is a rockstar! In our first meeting, you can tell she enjoys what she does! She was enthusiastic, and we didn't feel like "just another wedding". Planning a wedding from afar is difficult, but Brooke was always responsive and helpful. She gave wonderful advice while at the same time giving us the freedom to make our reception unique to us. She was so accommodating to every request, from allowing us to store reception items in her office a couple days prior, to working with the chef to make custom late night snacks. On the day of, Brooke was at Verandah from early morning (she delivered breakfast to myself and my bridesmaids as we got hair/makeup in the clubhouse) until the very end of the reception. She worked with each of our vendors to execute the reception flawlessly! She came up to my now-husband and I often throughout the day/evening to make sure our needs were met. When we were outside taking the last of our photos before cocktail hour, she came out to us with a golf cart and waters to drink, then drove us on the golf cart back to the clubhouse when we were done (and even helped me bustle my dress!). She coordinated with the wait staff and our DJ to execute a surprise for our guests where they brought out desserts representing our rival colleges to each table while the DJ played a mashup of our fight songs. So fun! To say she is a superwoman is an understatement! In addition to Brooke, we were so pleased with the entire staff at Verandah! So professional and always smiling! The food - several of our guests have said it's the best food they've had at a wedding! Living in Chicago, we have access to some amazing food/restaurants, and the filet minon was right up there with the best we've had in Chicago. Additionally, dinner came out in a timely manner and was warm! Compliments to the chef, and the wait/bar staff for their hard work all night!

From the beautiful oak tree ceremony space to the beautiful reception space overlooking the river, the Verandah Club was amazing. From start to finish Brooke was so easy to work with, especially since I was planning from out of state. She was helpful in supplying vendor recommendations so I wasn’t totally lost in planning my destination wedding. I can’t recommend the Verandah Club enough. It is so big that you don’t have to worry about being squished together. We had a photo booth set up and some little things to look at around the room. Brooke was amazing. She was helpful through the entire process. The food was incredible. Everyone loved the swordfish, beef and chicken we picked!

I had a Cinderella wedding and verandah gave me that enchanted look I wanted. I did not get to have my ceremony outside due to the weather but Brooke and her staff was wonderful at moving it inside . Meg Sent on 03/02/2018It’s hard now to think back and imagine having our wedding anywhere but at the Verandah. From the planning outset, my groom and I knew we didn’t want a church wedding. We love nature and the outdoors, and we determined early on that we wanted trees, oak trees, to surround us on our special day. We made several appointments to see a myriad of locations. But we needed all of two minutes at the Verandah to decide it’s precisely what we wanted. Ceremonies take place under the arching branches of beautiful oaks, on the banks of a nearby pond. The reception is held in their massive ballroom with high ceiling, plenty of space and which also overlooks a river. There’s even a boardwalk dock where one can get a better look at the water.But I’ve told you nothing you can’t see in pictures. The real magic stems from the staff. All the vistas in the world are useless in a wedding if everything else is done poorly. Brooke, who is in charge of events, is simply incredible. She was always there for us when we needed her, both prior to and during the wedding itself. Always prepared to answer questions or accommodate us, even at the drop of a hat. She coordinated effortlessly with our vendors, also making sure they were completely taken care of. She made it easy not to worry.The waitstaff was phenomenal: attentive, cheerful and earnest, everything you want to see and hear on your big day. They were omnipresent and ready for anything that came their way.The food—oh, the food. Every single one of my guests was blown away by the food. I certainly was. I’ve had some good food at weddings before but—and I’m not just saying this because it was my wedding—this was the best I’ve ever had, and I’ve heard that sentiment echoed by friends and family more than a few times. Do not be afraid of the word buffet. It’s connotation may conjure up less-than-ideal preconceptions, but Verandah’s execution elevates it to an art form. The food was amazing and the moments captured on camera are breathtaking. The brand new reception area is updated and picturesque. Justin Sent on 05/03/2018We just had our wedding on 4/28/18 and can not say enough great things about the Verandah. Brooke was such a professional, and was ready for anything that came up. She was calm and always reassured us when we needed it, which was in itself a priceless trait. She was so accommodating, and really looked out to make sure we were happy. Our Menu was custom and the chef did an excellent job creating a southern style meal of chicken and waffles with jalapeno maple syrup, and coffee/ brown sugar rubbed filet. They even went out of their way to find jack-fruit for our bbq jack-fruit white cheddar mac n cheese option. The venue itself was gorgeous and the 100 year old oaks added such a classic southern feel to the event. The day was perfect in every way, and I would recommend the Verandah to anyone in a heartbeat. Not only is it a beautiful venue, it's extremely affordable which together makes it a great venue! Give brooke a call asap!

Best day ever!
Kaitlyn and her staff were absolutely phenomenal. Everything ran smoothly and it was such a relaxing day because of their hard work and professionalism. From set up to even tear down, they made everything incredibly easy. To elaborate on the two areas that got a 4/5: Kaitlyn always responded in a timely matter, it just wasn’t always on the same day, even if communication was sent earlier in the day, which is perfectly fine. For quality of service there were two areas, from my understanding, that were missed. The reserved aisles during the ceremony were wrong and it looked like the ‘reserved signs’ weren’t used correctly either. Again from what I could see, this seemed to be the case. And the second was with printed QR codes from the POV app that turned everyone’s phones to a disposable camera that would store all the photos our guests took so we could see them the next day. I printed 5 sheets for her to put at the bars and anywhere else that would work. From what I saw and was told, they were no where to be found. In the grand scheme of things, these weren’t big deals, and didn’t really affect the day. I would still recommend the Verandah to anyone and everyone! -
