Choosing this beautiful venue and their exceptional team was the best decision we made in our wedding planning process! Hank and Kara offer expertise and continual support throughout the planning process and even beyond saying “I do.”
My husband and I had a micro-wedding with a limited number of guests, but still desired all of the beauty and detail of a traditional wedding. Hank and Kara provided us with vetted vendors who catered to dietary restrictions and fulfilled each of our specific requests in a fantastic manner. We were pleased with every detail and so assured by the peace of mind that we could entrust our vision to The Venue at Murphy Lane team and their quality selection of recommended vendors.
The Venue at Murphy Lane property is exceptionally clean and beautifully maintained. Every angle of the property provides a picturesque backdrop for a beautiful wedding day. From the venue’s design and decor to the lush landscaping touches that are perfectly groomed throughout every season, the property and event spaces are flawless. Decor is aplenty and at your fingertips as a Venue at Murphy Lane bride, making my vision so seamlessly come to life. The vast options of ceremony and reception spaces as well as seating options and arrangements allowed our wedding to be anything but “cookie-cutter.”
Even with the beautiful property and exceptional selection of vendors, Hank and Kara Lane are the best feature of The Venue at Murphy Lane. They truly felt like family from the moment they welcomed me onto their property for a tour. Hank’s “can-do” attitude and encouraging spirit makes brides, grooms and their families feel at ease in the wedding planning season. Kara’s confidence and passion for every element of planning for our big day allowed us to restore the excitement for our marriage and enjoy the months leading up to our wedding. We are so very thankful for Mrs. Kara and Mr. Hank! From start to finish they were so friendly and inviting. My husband and I were working with a tight schedule to book a venue as we had a prior venue fall through prior to finding The venue at Murphy Lanes. I was so frantic as our date was soon approaching but as soon as we drove onto the premises, we knew that this would be our wedding reception venue! Mrs. Kara and her husband reassured us that they could provide us the dream reception we were looking for on the exact date we needed it. And they absolutely delivered! It was so GORGEOUS! We have lasting memories of the beautiful property and got so many compliments from our guests who were equally amazed. We are forever grateful to the Lanes for treating us not just like customers but like family. They were truly happy for us. We love them and recommend them to anyone looking for an unforgettable wedding day ❤️. -

What a beautiful place to have your youngest son get married. Kara and Hank were absolutely wonderful to work with for an out of town wedding. They go over and beyond to make your wedding festivities reach your expectations. Allowing our family to host the rehearsal dinner at the same venue as the wedding was so very helpful to us. I'd leave 6 stars if I could! Kara and Hank are so lovely and they have an absolutely beautiful venue that is immaculately kept. There is a variety of ceremony spots and they are always ready with a Plan B in case of inclement weather. Luckily, we were blessed with perfect weather for our November wedding. We chose the all-inclusive package and Kara got some amazing vendors for our wedding who were all so sweet and professional...I was overjoyed to not have to track down a caterer, photographer, DJ, etc. myself. We felt very well taken care of and truly enjoyed our wedding. My mother-in-law also rented the cabin that's on the property for the wedding weekend, and that was an amazing amenity to offer! Having the bridal party onsite the night before the wedding was very helpful. We got so many compliments from our guests about everything from the food to the music to the venue and I am so thrilled that we got married at Murphy Lane. I would highly recommend it! -

My husband and I got married at The Venue at Murphy Lane this October and we have nothing but great things to say about our experience and the phenomenal team that Murphy Lane has. From the drive in to the property to the sparkler exit at the end of your wedding, Murphy Lane has thought of and perfected every little detail of their weddings. We had our ceremony in the vineyard and used the outside patio for dancing and cocktail hour and it was absolutely gorgeous under the bistro lights. We ended up having beautiful weather on our wedding day but Murphy Lane had a full rainy day plan set incase we needed it and it made us feel super confident going into our wedding weekend.
We also had a walk through at the venue about 3 weeks before the wedding which included our florist and caterer. We went over all of our plans and details for our wedding and Hank also poured up some cocktail samples for us to enjoy so we could pick out our signature cocktails. They really have thought of everything so that you as the bride and groom don't have to worry about a single thing on your wedding day.
Kara, Hank, and Lea Ann are seriously a power team and we take every opportunity we can to take a trip back out to Murphy Lane!!! We had the best day ever at Murphy Lane and are so thankful for our experience. -

We absolutely fell in love with this venue, not only because of how beautifully they’ve set everything up, but also because of Kara and Hank, the owners, and their team. They have so many beautiful ceremony spots for any time of year, plus they have a lot of decor items already there that you can choose from. Kara and Hank are super helpful every step of the way, always making sure we had everything we needed and making sure it was all to our liking. We got married in February in the covered patio and had our reception inside the barn. Everyone that attended our wedding still tells us how wonderful everything was and how kind the staff was. This venue was perfect because we didn’t know how cold the weather would be in February and they were super flexible with us about where we wanted the ceremony to be. All of their preferred vendors were absolutely amazing as well! Not one disappointment from us! It truely was a perfect day and Hank and Kara know how to help ease the stress and make you feel like a part of their family! -

Seriously, look no further for your wedding venue!! From our first meeting just touring the property, Hank and Kara were so inviting and welcoming to us. We quickly decided that their all inclusive package was the way to go with very little hands on planning. They worked with us to tweak some details and really cater to the vision we had of our wedding. Despite having our wedding on the hottest day of the year (yes, 99 degrees no heat index) the Lane's and their amazing team of vendors handled all of our concerns and last minute adjustments for safety with ease. Additionally, one of the many perks of having our wedding here is that we had to supply very few items of our own, and the items we did were mostly personal sentimental items. Kara has a large barn full of beautiful decor items to use on our big day. Not to mention with the all inclusive package they provided the plate ware, the tablecloths, the table numbers, the cake stand, the list could go on and on. My husband and I both talk about how relaxed and smooth our day went which is to the credit of the team at Murphy Lane. I could not recommend this venue enough! -

Murphy Lane is absolutely gorgeous! As soon as my daughter and now son n law pulled up they knew it was the place they wanted to get married. Kara and Hank are just precious and they made all of us feel like we belonged there and we were family. We did an “all inclusive” wedding and let me tell you when Kara said she was going to get us “The Best” vendor team she was not lying. We absolutely loved everyone that helped make Alexis and Jacob’s dream wedding come true. The wedding planner, Lea Ann took care of everything and what she couldn’t take care of she told us what to do. Use Chasity for your photographer because she is hands down the master and Spencer Franks, the videographer, is incredible at what he does. My family and I could go on and on about Murphy Lane and the best vendors they work with. If you book with them you WILL not be disappointed, your day will truly be magical, as it should be. -

I had my wedding back in December, and I couldn’t have made a better choice for my venue. The wedding day itself was so stress-free, I actually got to enjoy my day and it was perfect. The vendors that were recommended (Lea Ann with Southern Flair Weddings and Events, Lori with Elegant Expressions, and Susan with Kudzu Creative Designs) we’re all so easy to work with and really helped my vision come to life. We got so many compliments on the wedding itself, the location, and how nice the people were from our guests. So much so, that I have family members and bridesmaids also recommending this venue instead of their own venues they had for their weddings only a few months before my own. One of my bridesmaids saw such a difference in my wedding from hers and it was all due to the people who ran the venue, Kara and Hank Murphy. They genuinely care and that makes all the difference. If you’re looking for a venue to have your wedding, please choose The Venue at Murphy Lane, you won’t be disappointed. -

Beautiful wedding venue
First of all, this venue is gorgeous with several options (inside and out) for your ceremony. Kara and Hank are the owners, and they walk with you every step of the way. They have a team of amazing vendors that work together often, which was a large part of what made our wedding day go so smooth. We had a short engagement and I got lucky to get one of the last fall dates available in 2022. Kara knew we had to move quickly and she helped get all our venders booked which took a huge load off our plate! They have all inclusive packages available that you can customize depending on your budget. A real game changer in my opinion. I am really indecisive at times and Kara and our wedding planner (that came with our package) helped walk us through many decisions, which I am so thankful for. They know what they are doing and they run the wedding day like it is a well oiled machine. Everyone was so accommodating, and they went out of their way to be sure my elderly parents were doing ok throughout the day. It is evident that Kara and Hank love what they do. If you are looking for a venue that is a little country/rustic and a little boujee, check out Murphy Lane! -

When we got engaged, my now-husband & I had an idea of what we were looking for in a venue but couldn’t really put it into words. Once we saw Murphy Lane, we knew it was the one! The property itself is absolutely incredible. The winding, tree-lined drive surrounded by 80+ acres of beautiful farmland set the tone for what’s to come at Murphy Lane. We loved the multiple outdoor ceremony site options, the mix of modern elements & southern charm at the venue, the large barn entry doors, the bridal suite garden and so much more. My husband and I just had the most dreamy Spring wedding at Murphy Lane and I can not stop thinking about how perfect it was. The sweetest couple, Hank and Kara, own the venue and they took such good care of us and our loved ones throughout the entire day. I can be very type A, especially when it comes to planning so it’s hard for me to relax and count on people to get things done the way I want, but Hank and Kara went above and beyond to make sure everything we wanted was taken of. They also have an exclusive coordinator, Lea Ann, who is exceptional and kept the day running so smooth. I second guessed so many decisions throughout wedding planning, but whether I chose the perfect venue was never a question. What we loved most about the venue is how accessible and personal it was for us. We were able to visit multiple times during the planning process to discuss set up and decor and we even did our engagement photos on the property, which turned out amazing. We never felt rushed and we never felt like we were working with a business. The venue is on a beautiful 88 acres of private land with multiple ceremony locations and a beautiful barn with the most romantic chandelier. At Murphy Lane, it feels like you’re being taken care of by family and that experience is priceless. -

My husband and i chose this venue because of how amazing everything was from the view, the barn, the space literally everything. Kara and hank always made sure we were taken care of. Murphy Lane is an absolutely beautiful venue not only because of the property itself but the people who you’d be working with. Hank and Kara are so sweet and beyond helpful. You won’t find another venue that adds that personal touch like they do. Kara is so mindful to the small details and I greatly appreciate that. They definitely helped bring our big day to life and our guests are still telling us about how much they loved the venue, it was just so easy that all 120 people can mingle and enjoy activities in the same area, and that’s being indoor AND outdoors! Some of our guests also mentioned how helpful and nice Hank and Kara were. It says a lot about how friendly and interactive they are when our guests come telling us about their encounters. By far the best venue in Coweta County / Newnan Atlanta area! They are always staffed with the best on going help. Not ONCE did I stress about the big day. The Venue at Murphy Lane is such a dream! My husband and I got married on December 1, 2018 and had our reception at Murphy Lane. We were the first to get married out of our siblings, so we didn’t really know much about wedding planning. We looked at other venues in the area, but none compared to Murphy Lane! Kara and Hank are so amazing and helped us out tremendously. It rained on our wedding day and we had the option to add tents and heaters to their outdoor patio. It worked out great! Everything was so beautifully decorated for Christmas and they knew exactly where to place vendors and tables and chairs to accommodate our very large wedding. My bridesmaids and I stayed in the cabin that they have on their property the night before my wedding and it was so fun! I highly recommend that! The landscape and scenery are beyond beautiful and they have so many great places for gorgeous pictures. Overall, I wouldn’t have changed a thing. Kara and Hank are a dream, along with their venue! We’re so appreciative of them! -

The Murphy Lane owners, Kara & Hank went above and beyond to see that my daughter's wedding was perfect in every way. I didn't have to worry about a thing...from guest parking, guest seating, decorations, family with disabilities, endless photo opportunities, to the send off...The grounds are exquisite and therefore so many options to capture those perfect photographs/videos. They also have a beautiful cabin on property that the bridesmaids used the night before the wedding and then the bride and groom stayed after the wedding. The icing on the cake was the gorgeous barn with a bridal suite the girls used on the day of the wedding. I could go on an on not just about the beautiful venue but you can't put a price on the level of service that Kara and Hank provide their bride & grooms. -

The Venue at Murphy Lane and Kara and Hank are seriously a dream come true! We booked the venue before it was even finished in the summer of 2017. We trusted that Kara and Hank were going to make it this beautiful blank space to make your own and they went above and beyond. Murphy Lane isn't your typical "barn", it's truly an event venue. They give you this amazing space to create your dream event whether you want something rustic or southern elegant, they can accommodate it! Kara and Hank were so involved with our wedding and wanted to make sure everything was perfect they did just that. We wish we could relive the day over and over because they made it that amazing! They both truly care about the couple and their customer service makes all of the difference. We had so many of our guests ranting and raving about the venue and how wonderful it was! We were first impressed by its beauty, size (80 acres), versatility (multiple ceremony locations to choose from), and on-site lodging (16-person cabin and guest suite). But we were truly blown away by Hank and Kara, the couple that own the venue and run everything. They are a DREAM to work with. Detail oriented, kind, organized, enjoyable to be around, just all around wonderful people. We trusted them 100% with our wedding day. They KNOW what they are doing and will also recommend great vendors they've worked with before. They even gave us a little memory box after the wedding that included a piece of glass engraved with our names and wedding date. I HIGHLY recommend this venue.

Though most people would have thought it was a risk to but a deposit on something not built, Kyle and I fell in love with Hank and Kara from the first meeting. Kara and Hank are two of the kindest and generous people you will meet and they will make sure your wedding is a fairytale. This venue is hands down the best venue in Newnan, Peachtree City and Fayetteville! I can say this with confidence since my husband and I are from the area. The venue is breathtaking and once you visit you will not want to leave. Murphy Lane blew our guest away that we are still receiving compliments. Our friends who live in the area were stunned that we found such a well kept secret, which it will not be for long!!! This venue, currently, hasn't been open a year but the service you will receive matches (if not beats) that of places like Fox Hall. If you are considering venues this one needs to be top priority to go see.

Marlie Sent on 07/10/2018Thank you to The Venue at Murphy Lane for allowing us to use every inch of your beautiful property for our wedding on May 12th. We were able to stay on site for the weekend and held our rehearsal dinner, wedding ceremony, and reception there. The bridal suite was the perfect size and set up for my bridal party to get ready in. We had access to all of the property to get gorgeous photos and video of our special day. It was the perfect day!
