Amanda is great! We talked to her on the phone about a few ideas we had for a honeymoon in Santorini. Within two days she had a plan with lots of options for us to choose from. She was very conscious of our budget and reached out when she found ways to save us money. She was responsive and super easy to work with. One of our day excursions was cancelled due to weather and Amanda helped us get a refund for it once we were back in the states. She is really wonderful and super easy to work with!

Amanda did an excellent job finding us a vacation within our budget. We had the most wonderful honeymoon in Jamaica, all due to the work she put in to find us the perfect destination. Even with multiple bumps in the road, Amanda was able to demonstrate flexibility and professionalism while working with us. We would recommend her to anyone, and will definitely go through her again in the future! Thanks Amanda!

I had no trouble with having to plan my honeymoon at all. Amanda took care of everything and it was such a smooth process! She was able to pick the right spots in the towns and had great knowledge about my destination. Can not complain!

I was planning a multi-leg trip using some frequent flyer miles, two carriers, and 3 additional flights from Richmond to Lisbon and the Azores Island, Punta Del Gato, and back to Lisbon and on to Barcelona. I spent hours on the internet. Frustrated, I called Amanda, Vacation Chic. She stepped in, booked all 5 flights, and two hotels. Amanda was such a pleasure to work with. After having little success with local travel agents, I emailed Amanda late one night and she responded with a detailed email the next morning - it was such a relief! I worked with her to plan my destination wedding for 40 people in Mexico and she was helpful every step of the way. She listed to what was most important to us as a couple, sent us options for a hotel, and talked us through the process. The hotel was fantastic and she also helped us with transportation to/from our wedding venue. All of our guests mentioned how easy the process was working with her and they appreciated the detailed information she provided. In fact, my godmother plans to use her for trips in the future!

She gets my highest recommendation!

Amanda was amazing at responding to any crisis even the situations technically out of her control. She was great at finding us the best resort deal and the most for our money. The craziest situation was when we missed our flight for the wedding and we had to call Amanda that morning to us find another flight! As early as it was in the morning, she rolled right out of the bed and immediately tried to help. As the bride, I felt as though she had my best interests at heart and she made sure that our guests thoroughly followed our instructions. She was a major headache reliever for sure. Thank you so much Amanda for all of your help. Our wedding was everything we could have dreamed for and more!

Amanda is THE VERY BEST travel agent! She is flexible, informative, and efficient. She was extremely knowledgeable about Caribbean trips and truly helped my husband and I decide which location fit our needs. My wife and I could not have been happier with Amanda. She had great ideas for our honeymoon and helped us make all the right decisions. Planning a honeymoon is not something we could do or want to do all by ourselves. We gave Amanda a budget and the framework for what we were looking for and she did the rest.

She found us a great resort in Mexico, scheduled our flights, arranged transfers and answered the dozens of emails that we had quickly and professionally.

We have already reach back out to her for future vacation planning. We can't wait to see what she will come up with next.

Amanda (The Vacation Chic) was a pleasure to work with. She made an excellent recommendation for our resort in Mexico and made sure the booking process,including airfare transportation to/from the airport and setting up extra on-site excursions, went very smoothly. We will definitely use her on any future travels and recommend that you give her a call if you're planning a trip for a special occasion and want someone who will go the extra mile for you.

Contacting Amanda at The Vacation Chic was the best decision we made when planning our honeymoon. Our busy lives with careers and children didn't slow down so that we could spend quality time planning our dream wedding and honeymoon! We quickly became overwhelmed with options - Europe vs US? Hawaii vs Caribbean? All-inclusive resort vs secluded bungalow? Family-friendly vs Adults only?... The more we researched on our own, the more questions we had, and Amanda was able to answer them all! We were quickly impressed with her responsiveness and professionalism. She genuinely cared about helping create the perfect honeymoon experience for us. Amanda spent a lot of her time answering e-mails and phone calls without any guarantee that we would even book through her, which demonstrates not only her integrity as a professional but also her overall caring and friendly nature. Amanda was so great to work with! We knew that we waned an all inclusive honeymoon. She helped guide us through which resort brand was best for us and booked the resort and trip insurance for us. She also helped us to get a military discount as well as a honeymoon package through the resort. When we had a mishap on our honeymoon, she was available to help us file a claim months after we returned home! I would recommend her to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, friendly agent!

Amanda is a fabulous travel agent! I recently used her to plan a trip to Playa Del Carmen. While she specializes in bridal services, she is also great at planning get-aways for couples, no matter how long you've been married. She knows the most romantic resorts and has actually traveled and been to the resorts. Her recommendations are based on personal experience. She was able to advise me on the best resorts in the area for my needs and plan my travel for me. She made my trip worry and stress free. I didn't have to even think about my flight or transportation from the airport to the resort or what type of room I had. She took care of everything without me even asking! She has abundant knowledge of Mexico and was able to also give general travel advice. I will definitely use her in the future for planning vacations. I even plan to use her to help plan a family vacation!

You cannot ask for a better experience when working with Amanda, The Vacation Chic!! After many weeks of looking over many options for a honeymoon destination, we decided to contact a travel adviser! I sent out emails to three different companies and Amanda responded quickly and became our first, our last, our everything travel adviser!! She was hands down the most professional and prompt of all we spoke to, and she really cared about our story as a couple and what we were looking for in a honeymoon. Her experience with various properties and destinations helped us narrow our search down and then ultimately book our awesome honeymoon!! She listened via multiple phone calls and emails and made the experience fun and exciting! She took care of everything we needed including booking hotel stays on front and back end of our travels out of Dulles to Antigua, and was paramount in getting us first-class flight and accommodations! We were always informed and always had organized copies of all itineraries. She even sent us reminder itineraries a few days before just to make sure! We had one little blip upon arrival (which was all on the resort!) and after one email, she emailed AND called the resort and everything was taken care of and rest of week bonus perks!! Even when we returned, she emailed to find out how everything went and again GENUINELY cared about our experience! We cannot wait to use her services again and will spread the word to family, friends, and coworkers! Thank you again Amanda for all you did for us!

We had a fantastic anniversary vacation in South Beach thanks to Amanda. The hotel Amanda suggested was fantastic and budget friendly! She really worked with us to book flights that were convenient. She was always available if needed and responded quickly to any questions we had.

Amanda Roberts was amazing! Our honeymoon would not have been as perfect without her. She helped us fine the perfect room and the best places to check out while there. Having never been there, we were clueless and could've easily picked one of the less quality locations on the island.

I highly recommend the Vacation Chic and will definitely use her again on our next endeavor!

Amanda was very helpful in planning our honeymoon to Sandals Antigua! She was prompt and answered all our questions professionally and clearly. When our airlines merged at the 11th hour she quickly found us a new flight at no cost to us.

Amanda was extremely professional and helpful in planning our honeymoon vacation. She was very knowledgable about various resorts and made it easy for us to narrow down what resort would best suit our desires. She handled all of our bookings very efficiently and worked diligently to find us the most affordable flights. The next time we decide to travel, which will be soon hopefully, we will definitely use her! This was the first time I have used a travel agent and it was a great experience. I honestly never knew that travel agents came at no cost to the customer and they can actually help you get better deals than you can find by yourself!

We had the best experience on vacation ever! We were celebrating our 10th year anniversary and wanted to try an All Inclusive Resort. Amanda narrowed down the location to Cancun when we discussed shortest flight length from RIC. We picked our resort based on hotel ratings and Amanda’s personal experience of visiting many Cancun resorts herself. Amanda arranged for our transportation to and from the airport. We even had a special gift waiting for us when we arrived. Our resort was gorgeous and the beach secluded and romantic. We couldn’t have asked for more.

Amanda Roberts aka the Vacation Chic is wonderful to work with. When you meet with Amanda she makes you feel very comfortable and listens to exactly what you have to say and whatever your needs may be in planning a great trip. She is great in every aspect of the planning and booking process. Especially during the time of our wedding when there is so much to do and we can be so busy, follow ups were short and sweet and I had full confidence that Amanda would take care of everything in planning our trip and she did that exactly. Something that was most helpful was that Amanda had so much knowledge about the places we were looking at for our honeymoon. She has been to a lot of these locations and this made choosing for us a lot easier on what we were looking for. Amanda does her homework when it comes to resorts. We wanted a place that was all inclusive and with excellent service and that was exactly what we got. We loved our honeymoon and will remember it forever. Amanda worked with us to find our perfect wedding destination. Her knowledge and experience was invaluable in picking Barbados for our wedding. When a misunderstanding arose at our resort, I was able to text her and she got back to me immediately and was already working with hotel management until it was resolved. When planning something like this, it is great to not have to stress about travel arrangements or accommodations or wonder why reviews online are inconsistent, go to somebody who has the resources and has been there!

Amanda was quick to help with juggling rooms of a VIPs that were late to RSVP. She was right there working with the resort to get everyone situated correctly. She was a good person to have with our needs at heart.

Amanda was awesome when it came to meeting our needs for getting to and from the wedding. She accomodated our needs even when we went against her advice and travelled to a different airport. She still helped us organize transfers when our plans fell through. She was flexible and available easily to help us enjoy our vacation ad wedding to the max.
