So thankful we found Mason!
The first DJ we booked cancelled on us, and honestly I'm SO glad he did! Mason and his wife were incredible to work with at every step of the planning process, and created such a fun atmosphere on our wedding day. They accommodated a LOT of specific requests from us, and were so helpful in setting up with a live musician for the ceremony as well (though they could have done it all themselves too). I cannot recommend them enough! They are professional, prepared and fun, and very reasonably priced.

Best dj ever!
Mason with The Ultimate Sound DJ Company was absolutely incredible in delivering superb music and sound technology for our wedding back in June 2023! He was very communicative in making this day special for us and tailoring everything to us. His equipment is top notch. Our ceremony was outside and reception inside. Mason was able to make a smooth transition between the two and provided tech for our singers during the ceremony! Mason was great at keeping the events of the night going smoothly from the dances, to background music, to speeches and etc. Definitely recommend Mason to anyone seeking a quality DJ experience!

Hire Mason As Your DJ!
Mason Morris (The Ultimate Sound DJ Company) was the DJ for my wedding on 4/22/2023 at Overlook Barn in Banner Elk, NC. I can’t recommend him enough!
Mason is friendly and communicative, as well as very reasonably priced. He arrived early with all of the equipment. We submitted our music requests to Mason two weeks in advance of the event via a thorough questionnaire, and he also accepted music requests during the reception. Many of our guests commented on how much they enjoyed the music.
Also: If you’re interested in a digital photo booth at your wedding, Mason offers that service as well.

Wow- everything was so amazing! We had no idea really what we wanted, but Mason seriously brought the party and the energy! The music selections couldn't have been better, the energy was contagious, and he even went above and beyond to help our planner with a few other technical issues outside of his services. We could not have been more impressed, and couldn't have found a more awesome DJ had we tried! So awesome, I can't say that enough!! Best DJ EVER! Seriously, look no further!
The Ultimate Sound was the DJ at one of our friend's weddings, and we immediately knew that once we got married, we needed to have them too! They made our wedding day go by seamlessly, and they created one AMAZING dance floor! From start to finish, they were professional, friendly, and so much fun. The ceremony music was perfect and exactly what we wanted, the announcements were done without a hitch, the cocktail hour/dinner jazz music we requested really set the tone, and the dance floor was completely full the entire night! We received tons of compliments after the wedding on the music selection - people were thankful there was plenty of music for each generation to enjoy. The lighting they bring is top notch as well and it made for a really fun, club-like environment on the dance floor. They were vibing with us the whole night up on the DJ stage - you can tell they just really love what they do, and that makes a world of difference! Ultimate Sound DJ was the best choice! From last minute changes for our ceremony due to the weather to calming my nerves when it came to timing my entrance to walk down the aisle they were amazing! They were on time and set up right away. They were so fun when it came time to open up the dance floor! I had a bunch of family and friends comment on how much fun they were having and how DJ was also enjoying the time not just standing there. They took requests and accommodated anything we needed. My sons wedding
Mason was the best!! I am a wedding planner and have worked with him several times. This was for my sons wedding and he did not disappoint.
He does the best job keeping the crowd involved and you can tell he really enjoys himself. A great deal all around.!!!!

Couldn't have asked for anything better
Mason and his wife were the absolute best. They were so flexible and understanding and help full in a time like this. I booked super last minute and they took care of everything in a blink of an eye. By the end of the night i felt as if i knew them forever. We partied like no tomorrow thanks to them and they even enjoyed the fun too! Everything you could possibly ask for in a DJ they delivered. So professional, talented and entertaining!

One of my favorite wedding vendors we booked!
Mason was so great to work with. Planning a wedding during Covid is anything but easy, he handled everything very professional and honored all my weird requests (our love for 90’s country // polka themed songs // curated dinner playlist). The dance floor was packed all night and my favorite thing about Mason’s service was that he could read the audience well and keep the dance floor packed. The reception flowed so nicely and that was all Mason! Would recommend over and over again!!

Great Experience!
When we were planning for our wedding we kept hearing, “make sure you get a good DJ. Everyone remembers the music.” Well let me tell you, we had the best. After our wedding we had SO many compliments on the music. Everyone got out and danced and had an absolute blast. I would recommend this company a thousand times over. Blended Culture Wedding
The Ultimate Sound DJ was fantastic! He worked with us on our short notice due to COVID and was able to help us. We had a blended culture wedding and he did an AMAZING job with making sure he was saying names right and included music selections from the other languages. Mason brought the party!
Mason was our wedding DJ for our small gathering in September. He was flexible beforehand... and was a blast at the wedding itself! He was able to keep our guests on the dance floor with great music, as well as was able to find our songs on the spot as people requested things. Mason followed all of our COVID precautions without even asking, as well as made our safety announcements.... with a little fun as well :) I'd highly recommend him!

Can actually bust a move!!
Awesome dj, Mason really brought top tier professionalism and quality of service to my wedding, even going out of his way to help move chairs to set up the ceremony! Once the reception came around he played a wide variety of music that catered to not only the older generation, but also to our age group as well, making sure everyone had a good time! If you looked over to the side at the right time you would even catch him dancing along in his dj booth as well! He will always be HIGHLY recommended from me (he also took our wedding venue change due to COVID within stride without complaint)!

Best wedding DJ ever!
Mason recently was the DJ at our daughter’s wedding at Sky Retreat near Boone, North Carolina. I can’t say enough about what an amazing job he did at both the wedding ceremony and reception! Mason even came prepared with a generator so he would be able to adapt to whatever the weather situation brought… At the last minute, he was flexible enough to move everything indoors due to the rain. He was extremely prepared and had all of the ceremony and special reception songs ready to go! He honored my daughter’s song requests and kept the reception lively and flowing! Most importantly, Mason was extremely kind and patient throughout the entire wedding planning process! We had to postpone the wedding and then downsize the wedding due to the coronavirus.Mason was willing to be flexible in every way to meet our wedding needs and expectations! It was such a pleasure to meet him and his wife and we would highly recommend them to anybody looking for a fantastic wedding DJ! This is one vendor you have to make sure to have on your team!

Mason is the best! He kept everything moving smoothly; even when I forgot the time line! He let me know ahead when we would be doing an “event” like bouquet toss and last dance. I couldn’t have asked for a better DJ for our wedding. He definitely kept the dance floor alive.

My daughter and her husband hired this DJ for their wedding on 5/30. They were on time, had all their equipment set up and ready to go. From North Carolina to Tennessee
We were struggling to find a DJ who was affordable, fun, and not overly formal. Mason was referred to us by a friend and, man, am I glad! He traveled from his home in NC to our venue in Kingston, TN. Everything was PERFECT! Kids, family, and our friends danced the night away with us. Mason even joined us for a little bit! He’s so easy to work with and really tries his best to make the process stress-free. I would highly recommend Mason to any friend in Western North Carolina or East Tennessee. He has such good energy that I just don’t think our day would’ve been as fun with anybody else!

He is the type of person to pay attention to all the small details that can easily be overlooked. My wedding ceremony was outside and the reception was inside. Mason was fantastic! He provided a song request form with all the little forgotten details and was patient with us during the final two weeks before the wedding when things got chaotic.
Mason took care of a last minute change in the ceremony arrangements and set up at two completely different areas without hesitation or complaint. He was very polite to all of our guests and had a great time entertaining while accommodating the different preferences in our crowd. Mason kept the night on track for us so we didn’t have to worry and skipped the things we didn’t want at our reception.
Would HIGHLY recommend him and if I could go back to do it all over, I’d choose him again to be our DJ! We are grateful that he made sure we had the best wedding day/night that we will never forget.

Mason and his wife were easy to work with and very flexible! They were apart of our whole day and it couldn’t have run smoother. Also they kept the dance floor full!!

Great Experience!
Mason was the best! We thoroughly enjoyed his timely manner of arriving to set up, his wide array of choices for mics and stern set-ups, listening to our song choices and adding the perfect flare to the dancing portion of our wedding event! It was great!

Best Wedding DJ Ever!
The Ultimate Sound did a phenomenal job and got everyone on the dance floor! Even people we didn't think would dance ended up dancing the night away. He was great at announcements and following the schedule we provided. Mason is the best- book him now!
