The skybox was absolutely amazing. Beyond what we could have imagined. We only viewed the skybox and immediately had no interest in seeing any other venue. We were sold just by the view, flexibility you have to create the wedding of your dreams and service we had from Amanda and Cindy. We are so happy to look back on our wedding day and forever be happy we chose the skybox.

Book skybox!
Skybox Was ABSOLUTELY amazing! We visited 5 venue sites that day and to be honest, we were sort of exhausted/overwhelmed. Banquet halls, hotel reception centers and event spaces all seemed to blend into one another and we thought about skipping Skybox.
We are SO GLAD we did not!
Within minutes of meeting Amanda and her team we were sold and every other venue that we visited previously, felt like an after-thought. Everything from the stunning sunset views, to Amanda’s attention to detail, vendor suggestions and staff, matched our vision. No question went unanswered we felt a genuine connection. We knew they would take care of us and ensure a beautiful/stress free day. It took a fifteen second elevator ride to look at my wife and mutually say, “this is it!”
I’ll summarize Cindy with four words, “She busts her ass!” - Cindy has a genuine passion for helping others and it shows. She hit the ground running and truly did it stop. (Seriously, I never even saw her sit down!) She has the most sincere upbeat personality for this job and that translated to us having zero issues to worry about for the day of. Her team has an aversion to mediocrity and it surpassed our expectations. But enough about logistics, Cindy and her team made the night a blast! She managed the perfect balance of making sure our needs were met, ensured guests were enjoying themselves, and managed staff in a timely manner. Everything seemed to flow effortlessly and working in a stressful career myself, that doesn’t happen by accident. Her ability to organize, solve problems before they arise, and make us laugh, made Melissa and I so fulfilled.
I wish we could get married again, but sadly, I can’t. All I can say is this; I strongly encourage others to make Skybox your unique wedding venue choice. Your guests wont forget it, You won’t regret it, and you’ll be starting your marriage off with the ultimate party in 2026! Cheers.

Our wedding
Our wedding at The Ultimate Skybox in San Diego was everything we hoped for and more! The day was absolutely perfect, and our guests couldn’t stop talking about how beautiful and unique the venue was. The views are unbeatable. Amanda, who runs the Skybox, was amazing to work with from start to finish. She helped us get the date we wanted and made everything feel so easy. We loved that there was a list of preferred vendors, and she gave us great recommendations. Every vendor we worked with was fantastic and made the day run so smoothly. The best venue ever
This was the first venue we toured, and we instantly knew it was the one. The views of downtown San Diego, Petco Park, and the bay are unbeatable, day or night. The balcony made for a stunning ceremony spot, and we even took our family photos there and in the “Giraffe Room,” which turned out beautiful.
With about 130 guests, the space fit our cocktail-style reception perfectly. The built-in bar was great for our open bar, and the TVs made karaoke super easy!
Huge thanks to Cindy Sanborn, our coordinator. She knows the venue inside and out and made everything run flawlessly. If you want incredible views, a fun layout, and an amazing team, this is your spot!

The Ultimate Skybox Soared Above Our Expectations
Our experience at the Ultimate Skybox was nothing short of spectacular. We were on a tight budget and an even tighter timeline for our destination wedding and Amanda, Rachael, and especially Cindy (who was also our wedding planner) absolutely delivered. We stumbled upon this hidden gem of a wedding venue, and I'm so glad we did! Initially, we weren't sold on the idea of hosting our special day here, but after visiting in person, we were blown away. The pictures truly don't do it justice - the moment we stepped foot on the property, we knew this was the one.
The team was an absolute pleasure to work with, making communication seamless and effortless. Whenever we encountered any issues or concerns, they worked tirelessly with us to find solutions, ensuring our wedding vision came to life.
But what really made our wedding day unforgettable was the breathtaking view of Petco Park, home of the Padres. As luck would have it, there was a game on the same evening, adding an electric atmosphere to our celebration. And when the fireworks lit up the sky after the game, it felt like the universe was conspiring to make our day even more magical.

Stunning Views!
We had our wedding reception at the Ultimate Skybox and couldn't be happier with our decision to book them as our venue. The moment we walked in and saw the amazing views, we knew it was the one. Most of our guests were from out of town and were in complete awe of the space, location and spectacular views. The indoor/outdoor vibe with a fully open wall to the huge patio with fireplace and outdoor furniture blew everyone away and we were out there enjoying it all night. Amanda, Christa and our wedding coordinator Evelyn were absolutely awesome and so easy to work with. They answered all my questions and really made my day a breeze. It truly was a night we and our guest won't forget. THANK YOU!!

Ultimate Skybox Wedding
We recently held our wedding at The Ultimate Skybox. Of course, the first thing we noticed when visiting the venue was the view. We were sold. Amanda and Christa was very responsive and helpful throughout the process and quickly answered all of our questions. Our guests LOVED the venue and we received a lot of “we have never been to a wedding like this before” comments throughout the night. We chose to do a moving-style reception to take advantage of the space, which allowed our guests to socialize, walk freely, and enjoy the beautiful balcony. We are very happy with our decision. SD Destination Wedding
Now that a few days have passed by we have really been able to gather our thoughts and reflect on how amazing our wedding was. We have heard nothing but positive and encouraging comments from our guests on how beautiful the rooftop venue is and how well put together our event was. Most Amazing Venue!
We got married 2/25/23 at the Ultimate Skybox - we had our ceremony and reception at the Skybox and all the guests were amazed by the views and overall ambiance. Amanda who manages the space was awesome to work with and very responsive to all our questions. The only disappointing thing I encountered was when the management company banned cold sparklers right before our event. Luckily we were able to get reimbursed but honestly, I've never looked back and said my day would have been any more magical than it was.

The perfect venue.
I just got married at the Ultimate Skybox last weekend and haven't stopped thinking about it for one moment. All the pictures are incredible, don't get me wrong but the photos do NOT do it justice. You walk into the room and the views immediately take your breath away. We got so many compliments from our guests - it's truly one of the most unique venues I've ever been to. It's modern, clean, beautiful and has the BEST views. When we toured the venue, we knew immediately that we had to get married here. It is truly a 10/10 location to get married - could not recommend it enough!

An unforgettable wedding venue!
We have no doubt we made the right decision to get married here! From the get go, Amanda with Creative Affairs who manages the space was extremely responsive and helpful. We hired Julia with Events Inspired as our planner and she knocked it out of the park…pun intended;) The venue caught our attention when we saw photos of the beautiful views including the San Diego skyline, bay and Petco Park, especially since my husband is a huge baseball fan. Our guests could not stop raving about the space and views as well. It was so nice having both the indoor and outdoor areas for the whole evening…and thankfully, the weather cooperated! We had about 85 guests, so we opted to have our ceremony indoors so everyone could be seated (the balcony can seat about 60). After the ceremony, our guests enjoyed cocktail hour outside, while our caterer, Toast, flipped the room for our reception. It was seamless! Not to mention Toast’s food and service was phenomenal! Thanks for making our day so perfect Ultimate Skybox!

I can not praise this venue or Amanda and her team enough. They were beyond helpful in sourcing outside vendors with great suggestions on who would best fit the event we were throwing, they were also able to provide a wide range of furniture and decorations to help us pull the whole thing together. You won’t find a better venue or team for the price.

Amazing venue!
We got married at the Ultimate Skybox on 10/8/22. After going to a lot of weddings at wineries, on farms, and at golf courses, we decided we wanted to do something a little bit different with a big “wow” factor. You hardly need any decor because the view is so breathtaking! Our guests are still talking about how amazing and unique the venue was - they had never seen anything like it! We went with the “moving style” reception which involved the ceremony out on the balcony and food stations instead of a formal plated dinner with assigned seating. I highly recommend this option because it gives people a chance to mingle and take in the views. If you want to have a super fun wedding and a killer party, get married at the Skybox!

Best venue in San diego
My wife and I recently got married here. The venue is so so amazing. We both are born and raised San Digans. We have been to many weddings here locally but there is no venue that comes close to the ultimate skybox at all. The views are spectacular and it totally reflects who we are being from San Diego. Every single one of our guests were amazed. The staff is awesome, they were so helpful. They set us up with the perfect vendors all we had to do was show up and party. You would have thought we spent a million dollars on our wedding, but it was actually very very sensible. If you are not having your next party or getting married at the ultimate skybox then I promise you that you are missing out on the most amazing time of your life! The Best!!!!
My husband and I selected Skybox as our reception venue. The moment we walked in, we knew it was the one! The modern open space with a built-in bar is beautiful. Then you go outside where there's a fireplace and a view that can NOT be topped! Our guests fell in love with the venue just like we originally had. The staff is equally incredible. Amazing way to Start our new lives together as Husband and wife.
Choosing this location was a no brainer. The views are breath taking, the building had plenty of parking and the event was very secure but even more amazing was the staff. All of the guests could not say enough how amazing the venue and staff was!! 90% of guest said it was one of the most elegant and beautiful weddings they have been to. The staff at the skybox truly made it an event to remember!!

The BEST Venue in San Diego
My wife and I got married at the Skybox and its safe to say that the venue was the STAR of our wedding. World class service to match the view
Everyone at Creative Affairs was fantastic and truly helped to make our wedding super special. My wife and I are a lesbian couple and I have to admit there's always this hesitation with how will we be treated. There was zero issue. Guests had a great time and loved the venue. The views were spectacular (overlooking Petco Park and the SD skyline) during the day and night. The Creative Affairs staff was excellent on all fronts: experience, knowledge, professionalism and helpfulness. As a bonus we were able to use existing furniture to reduce the cost of rental furniture.
We can't speak highly enough about our coordinator, Miranda Snow. We are so thankful for all of the coordination she did with the rehearsal to taking care of details with the vendors to handling parking to making sure my wife and I were taken care of at our wedding with food and all of the other multitude of wedding-day-of stuff. She is a superstar and we are truly thankful to her.

Best decision!
We recently held our wedding at the Ultimate Skybox and cannot stop raving about how great of an experience it was!
Some details: We held both our ceremony and reception at the Skybox and comfortably fit 110 people. We had the ceremony inside, then moved guests out to the balcony area for cocktail hour while the inside was flipped for the reception. We ended up with a total of 10 table plus a sweetheart table up front, plus room for a dance floor. We also had a photobooth area and an outside seating area with overhead heaters set up. I was initially worried it might feel crowded, but we had plenty of room to work with.
Booking the Ultimate Skybox was the best decision! First of all WOW the venue is spectacular. The downtown San Diego skyline was stunning. Our guests loved taking pictures on the balcony both during sunset and at night with the entire city lit up. Everyone gasped when the elevator doors opened up to a penthouse view of San Diego.
Second, the coordinators at the Ultimate Skybox were an absolute dream to work with. Amanda helped us secure our date and was so patient and understanding when we had to delay our wedding due to COVID. She responds to emails with lightning speed and was so helpful in all our logistical questions. However, the star of the show was Miranda. The Skybox assigns a day-of coordinator for weddings. Ours was Miranda and I am so, so thankful for her! She was the glue that held things together. She reached out to all our vendors and coordinated both setup and breakdown of the venue, as well as the flip from the ceremony to reception. She made sure everyone got there on time and executed our wedding timeline perfectly. At every step of the way she was there for all our small questions and made it all look effortless! Once we had our vendors all lined up, she took it from there! She made our wedding day stress free, which allowed us to actually enjoy the party. Some of our guests commented that they’d never seen a couple so relaxed. I told them it was because of Miranda!
Third, we loved the flexibility and convenience of the Skybox. It’s right in downtown San Diego and close to all the hotels. That way guests can enjoy themselves without having to worry about driving home. Additionally, the venue is already so beautiful that we didn’t actually need to budget very much for decoration and florals. Lastly, we loved the option to bring your own alcohol. This allowed us to really customize our drink menu and saved a ton of money! We curated a whiskey tasting menu, as well as signature cocktails. Our guests loved it and it helped us really personalize our wedding.
We had such a fantastic experience working with the Ultimate Skybox for our wedding. Cannot recommend it highly enough!

Gorgeous Venue with Stunning Views
The minute we walked into the Skybox, both my (now) husband's and my jaws were on the floor. With the majority of our wedding guests coming from out of town, we really wanted a space that showed off the beauty of the Southern California coast. We found that in the Skybox. Every single guest we had was floored and loved taking photos from the view. It's been a few weeks and we still have people texting and emailing us that it was a venue they would never forget. If you are looking for a venue that offers something unique for all of your guests, this is it!

This venue was actually the coolest venue I have ever been to. Everything was absolutely perfect. From the moment we started talking to Amanda all the way through our entire wedding. The views are absolutely amazing whether there is a Padre game going on or not. I would recommend 10/10. Everyone we dealt with was so awesome and helpful. he professionalism of the staff for this venue are amazing. Prompt and courteous and willing to answer all questions. Never rushed. The space itself is stunning. By Far Superior Event Planners
Creative Affairs is worth every penny. My husband and I had our dream wedding all planned for March of this year. Julia was our wedding coordinator and helped us organize our vendors, planned out our “day of” timeline to a ‘t’, and made sure we had everything in-check. Amanda was also in close contact with us all throughout our planning process. Amanda is so down to earth and extremely personable that I ended up reaching out to her for advice on rehearsal dinner suggestions, florists and sound systems experts for our ceremony. I honestly felt like I had two wedding coordinators throughout our entire wedding planning process. The level of detail, work ethic, professionalism, perfectionism and organization was exactly what I was looking for. I knew that I was not going to have to worry about a thing on my wedding day and was far from stressed or anxious—Creative Affairs had it all covered. Unfortunately due to COVID-19 and California’s stay at home order, my husband and I had to postpone our wedding just days leading up to it. We were devastated but Amanda and Julia were extremely supportive and helped us come up with a Plan B. With high hopes, we postponed until the end of May and then again to the end of October but recently decided to cancel our wedding due to the ongoing pandemic. I was really looking forward to my wedding day and seeing how everything was going to come together with Creative Affairs by my side. Based on my ongoing contact with them, I knew it was going to be just perfect as a result of their great work. They are by far superior event planners and I would recommend them in a heartbeat.

Absolutely Incredible - Word's Cannot Describe
If I could give this location and their staff a million stars, I would. They were fantastic. My husband and I do not live in California so I had flown out to look at a few venues, none of them being the Skybox. I told him I narrowed it down to two. Then right before we both had the opportunity to come out to look at the two I had chosen, we saw the Skybox on a few wedding websites. My husband said we "HAD" to check it out. I called Amanda and she was the nicest person ever. We booked our appointment and the minute we walked in, my husband said: "This is it". The Skybox is stunning and has some of the best views in San Diego. It is non-traditional and made us feel like we truly had a unique wedding.
Before the wedding, we were introduced to our wedding coordinator, Chauncey. Chauncey is one of the sweetest people! She is so experienced and organized. I'm a little OCD and she was able to handle my expectations, meet them, and go above and beyond them. Both her and Amanda were always willing to speak with me on the phone and answer any questions/concerns I had. They were able to point me in the right direction as far as a caterer goes and give recommendations for all our other vendors.
At the wedding, all our guests expressed how beautiful the venue was. We were told that it was one of the best weddings and that the view from the venue made it. Our guests were extremely happy because everything ran seamlessly. I never had to worry about anything because Chauncey was there t the whole time. She would come up to me about 5 minutes before we had to do the next event (i.e. father-daughter dance, cake cutting, etc.) and ask if Philip (my husband) and I were ready to move on or if we wanted a few more minutes. Honestly, the care and attention she and her staff that day gave were beyond excellent.
Chauncey made sure we ate that day, had a drink in our hands, and were overall happy. The venue is drop-dead gorgeous, but the staff deserves all the praise. I will recommend this place 11 out of 10 times.

We got married here on 10/26/19 and to say our wedding was everything we wanted and more is an understatement. The ULTIMATE wedding venue
I have never worked with a company that truly cares SO much about their clients. We had a huge hiccup a few days before our wedding which didn't allow us to use the balcony for our ceremony. It was no ones fault in particular but we still were heartbroken. However after that, Amanda & Stefanie reached out and kept checking in with us. It really felt like they were heartbroken with us. They made us feel confident that everything else would be absolutely perfect and it really was.
Stefanie was our coordinator and she is THE BEES KNEES. The day would have not gone so flawlessly without her. She made wedding planning so easy, I never felt overwhelmed. There was not a moment during the wedding where I saw her not doing/fixing something. I had complete trust in her to get everything done which let me enjoy the day.
We were so lucky to have stumbled upon Creative Affairs & the Skybox, without you all our day would have not been nearly as perfect. And this venue will take your breath away. It was such a pleasure working with all of you and THANK YOU for helping us pull together our vision. Our wedding was perfect.

Ultimate value for a diamond-level wedding
We couldn’t be more thrilled with our Skybox wedding. Our coordinator (Stefanie, who I have reviewed in greater detail on the Creative Affairs page) took virtually all the guesswork out of crafting the perfectly simple, modern, elegant wedding we wanted. The views alone are worth booking this venue. But combined with the unique and intimate setting, central location (your out-of-town guests will thank you), stellar vendor partners, and aforementioned expert coordinators, this is a venue I’d enthusiastically recommend again and again. In fact, by the end of our wedding, multiple guests had approached us to say this was one of the most fun and unique weddings they’d attended, and another couple was inspired to have their wedding here, too. To be sure, no venue is one-size-fits-all. But if you are looking to have a smaller wedding (100 guests or so) with an uncomplicated ceremony in a modern, elegant setting, stop reading right now and book this venue. We are so glad we did!

Unforgettable venue!
I've had the pleasure of working with the Ultimate Skybox in the past in my profession as a wedding planner. When it came time to plan my 25th wedding anniversary celebration and vow renewal, I wanted to treat my husband (an avid baseball fan) to an amazing experience we could share with our friends and family. Our guests were simply in awe of the iconic views of the city and ball park, and much to our surprise and delight...WE EVEN GOT FIREWORKS! It was an unforgettable evening for all and it was so much fun to see all our guests amazing new profile pics the next day with that amazing view in the background. Julia from Creative Affairs was amazing to work with and really helped keep my mind at ease and embrace my role as "client" instead of planner! It was such an amazing experience all around and I would gladly recommend them to my future clients and friend! Thank you for providing such a beautiful backdrop for our memories!

Amazing wedding venue!
This is THE GREATEST WEDDING VENUE in San Diego! My husband and I were planning our wedding from NYC, and I never thought planning a wedding could go so smoothly! Firstly, the wedding venue itself is unique and gorgeous. You have a beautiful view of the bay, downtown, and the ballpark. We had our wedding at sunset, and the views were breathtaking. We had about 100 guests with a non-traditional moving style reception, and it was SO MUCH FUN! Guests loved the non-traditional set up, and we couldn't hear enough positive things about the venue! We used multiple vendors recommended by the venue, and every single one of them were absolutely fantastic!
Secondly, Chauncey from Creative Affairs is AMAZING! My husband and I were hesitant about hiring a wedding planner, but it is required through the venue and let me tell you - it was 110% worth it! Planning a wedding is not easy - especially across the country. Chauncey lead the charge, helping us contact vendors, work on our floor plan, and everything else that goes into planning a wedding. Not only did she do everything behind the scenes leading up to the big day, but she also made sure everything on our wedding day went smoothly! She kept us on schedule, and reminded us to take everything in and enjoy our day!
I cannot say enough positive things about The Ultimate Skybox! I would recommend them to anyone looking to have a wedding in SD!

Spectacular!! Everything about The Ultimate Skybox exceeded our expectations. We booked this venue because the views are phenomenal and as avid baseball fans this venue hit it out of the park. You get the most beautiful view of downtown, Petco Park and Coronado. You can’t go wrong with having your wedding here. The flow of the venue was awesome. Some guests would hang outside by the firepit, some at the bar, and others on the dance floor so no matter where our guests were it felt like everyone was included in the fun. Our guests RAVED about our reception asking how we could have ever found such a cool venue in downtown and after months of having our wedding they still talk about our reception and how awesome it was. The Creative Affairs team was so easy to work with and best of all IT WAS ALL STRESS FREE!! We never once stressed about our reception and how it was going to go. Rachael was so wonderful to work with she really made sure I was at ease with the flow, decorations, set up and schedule that I never turned into a bridezilla... haha. We recently held our wedding at The Ultimate Skybox and it was absolutely amazing! The venue exceeded our expectations in every way. The space was perfect and the views spectacular. All of our guests were completely blown away. This is the place to go for a unique wedding experience that no one who attends will ever forget.

My husband and I could not have found a better place to have the most important day of our lives! We were so impressed by the venue and the Creative Affairs team. Not only was our day beautiful, but it took the stress off knowing we had professionals that had our back. We would recommend this venue to anyone and everyone!!

The experience at the Ultimate Skybox was amazing from start to finish. I’m from Ohio and wanted a venue that you wouldn’t be able to find back home. The views are spectacular no matter where you look. Our guests raved about the views. There’s multiple places guests can mingle other than at the tables. At the front, they had seating area. There’s an outdoor patio with a huge fireplace and seating. I think the fireplace was a guest favorite. I loved the hardwood floors. I was looking for a venue that didn’t have that tacky carpet that clashes with everything (you guys know what I’m talking about). This place was just so elegant. Everyone we dealt with at Creative Affairs did an amazing job. Chauncey was our coordinator and I was in good hands the whole time. Our wedding could not have been more perfect.

Best venue in San Diego! The views of Coronado, Petco and the San Diego skyline are spectacular. Skybox is particularly magical at night. All of our guests raved about the view and it really created the ultimate wedding reception experience! The Creative Affairs team that coordinates events for Skybox is fantastic! We first met Amanda who showed us the venue and we were impressed by how down to earth she was as well as detail-oriented and organized! We knew our wedding reception would be in good hands with Creative Affairs. Jessica was the coordinator who was assigned to our wedding and she was also fantastic to work with! I'm a Type A personality and had lots of random questions leading up to the wedding and Jessica always responded to my e-mails quickly. I really trusted her advice when it came to the layout, logistics, timeline, etc...She is so sweet too! Our reception was perfect! Thanks, Creative Affairs!

We booked this venue as soon as we saw it last year! Love at first sight!! We knew we wanted something a little different then the average banquet hall or hotel. While the initial fees seem high, it includes the best coordinators in the business who work with you even before they schedule allocated timeframe, parking downtown options, security and no cake or alcohol fees to We ended up spending less in the end. With jaw dropping views of downtown and Petco Park, a fireplace outside and an intimate setting for all, it's modern take on a wedding site and reception is one of kind. We feel so lucky to have found this venue and to work with Rachael from Creative Affairs who has been a true life saver!!! We are so excited to celebrate in October and have no doubt the team will exceed our expectations while we enjoy the day!!

We love San Diego and the Ultimate Skybox is a perfect wedding ceremony and reception venue in this city! Beautiful atmosphere and fantastic views of downtown San Diego. This venue is no comparison to hotel ballrooms. We traveled from Northern California to have our wedding here and it was beautiful!

We absolutely hit the jackpot when we secured a date for our wedding at the Ultimate Skybox at Diamond View Tower. Not only is the view breathtaking and the venue classy and sophisticated with a modern flair, it comes complete with the use of the Creative Affairs event planning team. Again, we hit the jackpot! Pilialoha was our primary contact and she put us in touch with a list of approved vendors. The more we got to talking with her, the more she was able to narrow down the list to vendors that she felt would suit the style of wedding and overall vibe we were looking for. This list of vendors was absolute gold. We weren't hunting people down on the internet and trying to vet them ourselves, only to rely on intuition and gut feelings. Instead, we were given an all-star list of vendors who had frequently done events at the Skybox, and more importantly, had all worked events together in the past. As our wedding date drew closer, we began to work with Caitlin who was to become our actual day of coordinator. She helped us design an amazing layout which allowed our desire for a moving reception to play out yet still provided enough seating for people to be comfortable should they like to sit. She was an awesome resource who was able to follow up with the vendors as the time drew near and our attention was being drawn to ten-thousand other issues that required our attention. Caitlin's assistance took a huge load off of our shoulders, and set our minds at ease. The day of the wedding, rain was in the forecast. In the morning it was only a 40% chance, but two hours into the reception, the rain had begun to fall. Caitlin had made the executive decision earlier in the day, while set up was going on to move two of our food stations inside and we are so glad she did. If not for Catilin and her foresight, half of the food would be ruined, we would be left to sort out the mess and make decisions, on a night we were supposed to enjoy. The Ultimate Skybox is an exclusive venue for the Creative Affairs team.
First, the venue: This venue occupies the entire top floor (15th floor) of the DiamondView Tower building in downtown San Diego, situated just beyond right field of the Padres baseball park (Petco Park). The venue includes an outdoor terrace which overlooks Petco Park, with views of downtown, Point Loma, Coronado & the Pacific Ocean in the background. The venue is quite simply stunning. It's an ideal blend of sophistication and laid back San Diego vibe: not too casual, but not pretentious either. It was perfect! There's a great dance floor area, an ample bar, and even a contemporary outdoor fireplace as well; great for any social gathering. In nice weather, the glass wall leading to the terrace folds completely in, to create a true indoor/outdoor feel. We used this venue on a very busy Padres game night (a Padres/Dodgers game), and even with 40,000+ in attendance, our guests had very few issues with parking or closed streets (there is a 3-level underground parking garage in the building).
As for the coordinators: Pili and Chauncey were absolutely amazing! Both were very thorough, professional, and had a meticulous eye for detail. They were also incredibly responsive to all our questions and requests (which were MANY), and were genuinely pleasant to work with. The only thing we would have liked to change about our big day was the weather (which was completely out of their control of course), but even with impending rain, Chauncey remained wonderfully flexible up to the last moment on letting us decided whether or not to hold our ceremony on the outdoor terrace. We received countless compliments from our guests on the seamlessness and flawless execution of our wedding, which is a glowing testament to the entire staff at Creative Affairs. The value this team provided was truly above and beyond our wildest expectations.

Amazing venue!!! I had the wedding of my dreams at the Ultimate Skybox. The views are amazing and my wedding coordinator Chauncey Cannon was so attentive. She took care of all the details so that I could enjoy my day. My guests keep raving about how great my wedding was. It was definitely a day I will remember for ever!!

Love this venue it is beautiful and has a great view of the city. It comes with day of coordinators who are super savvy and have lots of great advice. I am very much looking forward to my wedding reception at the Ultimate Skybox.

WOW! From my guests all of them could not stop talking about how amazing this venue is. But for me it was the planners that made it amazing! They tell you you get a "month of" planner, but Pili was there from the start, keeping me on track and time with everything. Then Chauncey stepped in and made the day seamless. They may seem pricey at first, but with you picking your own vendors and buying your own alcohol you wont spend as much money as you think. Can't recommend this place enough and I wish I could keep Pili and Chauncey for my everyday life! They are the best!

This venue and the service from Creative Affairs exceeded my expectations for our wedding! The views of the Coronado Bridge, the San Diego Bay, the Gaslamp and Petco Park were incredible. Most of our guests told us it was the best wedding venue they have ever been to. Amanda and her team, especially Louisa, who was our Event Coordinator, were amazing and helped us throughout the whole planning process although we we did not contract them as our "wedding planner". They provided us a list of approved vendors that we were able to bring in, and we also were able to bring in our own alcohol. I highly recommend Creative Affairs and the Ultimate Skybox for an event

From the moment we walked in, we knew this was where we wanted to get married. The views were amazing, and it was the perfect combination of all things "us." City views, upscale decor, but still fun and youthful.
I loved that the ceremony and reception were all in one location. I also loved the fireplace, it's kind of my "thing." So for me, that was a selling point. I've reviewed the Event team separately over at Creative Affairs, so feel free to check that out, but a quick summary is that they're amazing, hard working and wonderful!

This is one of the most breathtaking venues for a wedding/reception. Our guests were blown away, and they really enjoyed having a baseball game to view during the reception! Creative Affairs provides a large list of approved vendors for all the services you would need for your special day. There are no meal or drink requirements, and you can provide your own wine/alcohol for the reception, which we found to be much more economical for our tight budget. We would highly recommend this venue for any special occasion or even corporate events.

This venue is incredible! Everyone raved about the view and the layout. There's a huge, built-in dance floor, a foyer area, a full bar in the back and a gorgeous terrace with the most incredible views from TJ to Point Loma. Not to mention the awesome bird's eye view into PetCo Park.
What I was also amazed at was how chic and gorgeous the place looks when the tables, linens and flowers are all brought in. I visited the place twice before the actual event and I was stunned at how it was even more amazing for the reception itself.
Also! The bathrooms are really nice, the place is spotless throughout and it is an incredible site for a party. There is a list of approved caterers and a kitchen in the back. The contract allows for the host to bring in her own alcohol so I saved a LOT of money by using BevMo and bartenders from the caterer.
The rental fee for the venue also includes event coordination service and for weddings, a day of coordinator.

The Ultimate Skybox is by far the best location in San Diego for that CityChic, Modern Wedding!! Right when we arrived to view the venue we fell in love with the gorgeous view and the Coordinator. Pili is so attentive and responsive and made planning my wedding so easy!! The Skybox is just perfect!

This venue has the WOW factor right when you walk in. The views alone are gorgeous. You can see the Coronado Bridge, the bay, downtown and basically everything San Diego is about and has to offer. Aside from the view, what really set this venue apart was the service from the wonderful people at Creative Affairs. Right away, they were super helpful in providing information that would help me make decisions before even I signed the contract. They treated me as if I was a client already, which I really appreciated, considering they were last venue I checked out and it was quite refreshing.
Once the contract was signed, it was smooth sailing. Working with Pili, Stefanie, Chauncey and Karen throughout my engagement was spectacular. I had a dream team at Creative Affairs and they did all they could, day or night, to help my vision come true.
My guests tell me all the time that my wedding was the best wedding experience that they'd been a part of. EVERYONE was impressed with the venue, including the locals.
I would definitely recommend this venue. And given the chance to do it all over again, I would still choose the Ultimate Skybox and the wonderful ladies at Creative Affairs.

The Ultimate Skybox is the most amazing venue in San Diego!! We were looking for a reception site that was a small space so that we felt close to our guests, but at the same time style and modernity were important to us. The Skybox matched both of those in the most perfect way. The contemporary, minimalist vibe of the interior space allowed us to focus on the details that were important to us and lent itself in creating an environment that was a true reflection of us a couple. This also kept the break taking views of the entire city as the main focus; your guest will be blown away! In addition to the venue, Creative Affairs is the most amazing company to work with. We hired them for the month of coordination and it was the best decision I made during the whole process!! I was beyond impressed with their attention to detail and thoroughness. These ladies are all incredibly sweet and kind, and I felt like they cared about me as a person and not just a client. They took great care to make sure my day was perfect, and it was!!

The Ultimate Skybox is the most amazing venue with the most amazing staff! My husband and I fell in love with the venue the minute we went to see it. In the days and months leading up to our wedding it was the Creative Affairs staff who truly impressed me though. Everybody was so friendly and accommodating, going above and beyond status quo. They were always available when I needed them. I was at ease on my wedding day knowing that our special day would go on without any issues because the staff was so helpful and organized in the process leading up to our wedding. On the day of our wedding the on site coordinator did an fabulous job with the schedule of events. I never felt like staff was being too pushy or rude. I received many compliments on how welcoming and friendly staff was to guests. The venue itself is a must see in person! I truly believe it is a venue that instantly puts people in a mood to have a good time. Overall, my husband and I are extremely happy with our choice to have our wedding at the Ultimate Skybox. Many of our guests told us it was the best wedding they had ever been too, I feel in part because of the venue and the staff!

The view from this venue was the best ever. Absolutely breathtaking. The staff helped put together all the little details of the day and did a phenomal job the day of the wedding taking care of everything. Everything was absolutely wonderful. GREAT venue!!!

The Ultimate Skybox, the ultimate dream
Fell head over heels in love with this venue as soon as I stepped off the elevator. Our guests were blown away by the views of downtown and everyone was taking pictures. People keep talking about how awesome our venue was and how much fun they had there. It's beyond gorgeous and the team is really great. Your venue cost comes with a wedding coordinator who works with you throughout the process, which is super helpful and a good value added to the cost you're paying.
My only issue (more with the planning team, not the building/venue itself) was that I booked my wedding (well in advance) on a date that happened to fall on Comic Con weekend in July and it caused me a LOT of stress and hassle. The team was apologetic and offered to let me switch my date, but at that point we had already sent save the dates and booked a handful of our main vendors so we would've lost money on our deposits. :( Sadly, not much else was done for me, which is my only disappointment with this venue considering the amount I spent to have a wedding here which is not cheap; but other than that it was perfect.
Highly recommend for you to make sure you don't book yourself for a weekend in July that could potentially be Comic Con, if so, prepare to spend hundreds to thousands extra for jacked hotel prices; and be prepared to have a large quantity of your out of town guests not be able to come because the hotels will be sold out a year in advance and the flight prices are too expensive.

The venue speaks for itself. We worked with Pili and she was amazing from start to finish. Pili was caring, passionate about her job, helpful, and always got back to me right away. Karen was great showing us the venue, and answering all questions we had from the very start. Our guest loved the venue and mostly the view. I HIGHLY recommend the Ultimate Sky Box... You will not be disappointed!! I give professionalism a 4.4 and Quality of service a 4.6 because of the day of event coordinator. There was a couple of things I REALLY wanted done and she choose not to do them. Which was a little upsetting, but other than that, I have all great things to say about the Ultimate Sky Box, and the Creative Affair team members:Karen, Pili, and Amanda
