The entire process was amazing from start to finish. I was super grateful as we were coming from out of state as I’m sure most of their clients do. Alexis made everything so easy and was professional and they even sent us a Christmas card several months after our wedding. If we could do it all over again, we’d still choose the same venue. We loved how our photos turned out, how close the venue is to the beach, and even security guard played along in some of our groom photos like he was their personal security. Because the venue is so close to the beach we were able to sneak away and get amazing beach photos without having a beach wedding. Tybee is one of my family’s favorite spots and it was so special to get married on the island we love so much!! Thank you for a perfect day!

Absolutely stunning, highly recommend
Everything was an easy flow on our big day, venue is a must, very classy. I love the fact we were able to take pictures outside, on the staircase, the changing rooms while bride and groom were getting ready. Everything was perfect.

June Wedding

Best Local Venue!!
I looked at a few popular wedding venues in Savannah, and The Tybee Island Wedding Chapel was hands down the most flexible, the most lenient, and easy to work with. The whole experience felt like working with real people and not a big corporation. A few things that really stood out: being able to bring your own alcohol/bartender (this saved me thousands compared to what other venues quoted me for a premium open bar), touring the venue twice (they were so patient with me), adding extra time for set up/clean up, and a very flexible rehearsal the day before. The chapel, cocktail lounge, and ballroom are perfectly placed for guests to transition downstairs while you take photos. Your photographer will love the natural lighting and plethora of greenery available throughout the property. The ballroom is massive and easily accommodated a full buffet, 10-15 tables, and a generous dance floor. Parking is available right outside the venue.

Amazing venue!
This was my dream wedding venue and was so perfect for my wedding earlier this month! Alexis was so easy to work with throughout the planning process. The value for the money is excellent and I enjoyed the convenience of having the reception and ceremony spaces so close to each other. The entire chapel is beautiful and picturesque and was a beautiful backdrop for our photos! Reception space is spacious with lovely high ceilings and the chapel for the ceremony is absolutely gorgeous. 10/10 recommend this venue!

I cannot say enough positive things about this venue. The venue itself is beautiful, I remember never wanting to leave the chapel because I wanted more time to take it all in. The staff is very organized and always on top of things. Already readily available. I 10/10 recommend this venue to anyone thinking of a chapel wedding!

Being local I was familiar with all venues for wedding in and near Savannah. After visiting the 4 top ones on short list we choose Tybee Wedding Chapel. Reasons included beautiful and actually requires minimal additional decoration to create a beautiful wedding reception. Requirements if venue simple no major hoops to overcome. Parking is great, time rental gives plenty of time for set up and take down. Grooms and brides room very nice. Separate bar area from main reception hall. Both indoor and outdoor settings will be beautiful photography backdrops. We are doing off season wedding so traffic and accommodation if guest want to stay overnight very reasonable (no so when u get closer to city of Savannah. After doing a true cost benefit value comparing all 4 short list venue on price, location, parking, best facility to host both wedding and reception in one location, catering facilities, bar area, Tybee Wedding Chapel was the most cost effective.

Flawless Experience
Words cannot express our gratitude to the Tybee Island Wedding Chapel and staff for help making our day absolutely perfect. The venue is stunning, the price is affordable, and the coordinators really do their best to make your bid day go without hiccups. We ended up having two venue coordinators. Melissa was our first and was extremely responsive and helpful, and she was able to let us see the chapel twice while we were in town! Melissa passed the torch to Alexis as our day got closer, and it was a flawless exchange. Alexis became our point person for any questions that came up, and she was FANTASTIC. She really helped make sure our rehearsal and day went so smooth. Could not recommend enough! Our guests complimented the venue and the whole wedding again and again!

Elegant, beautiful and so much more!
Our wedding was on July 4th, 2021. The Venue is a dream come true for us. The place is clean and well taken care of. Alexis Gillis helped so much through the entire process. She was very professional and answered our MANY emails promptly. Even when she was away the other staff was super nice as well. On the day of the wedding, the place was perfect for us. Their vendor list was so helpful since we both lived 4.5 hours away. All our guests commented and how beautiful the place was. Definitely hire them.

The Dream Space We Didn't Know We Were Dreaming Of
I was never that girl that knew exactly what her wedding would look like, until we stumbled upon the Tybee Wedding Chapel and Grand Ballroom.
From the time we saw pictures of the venue, to seeing it in person, to working with the incredible staff (BIG kudos and thanks to Alexis for helping this 2020 bride!), and then getting to our big day, this space was everything we could've hoped for and more. We truly felt that this was a space for our family and friends, and we feel that we became a part of the chapel family. We are so grateful to the staff and to the venue for being a place that felt safe and supportive in 2020 and for that, we are forever blessed to have started our marriage with you all! Book this venue! Between the beautiful chapel, outdoor space, beautiful ballroom, and more, you will not be disappointed! It was more than we could've hoped for!

Lovely Chapel!!!
Honestly I loved the venue !! I chose to come all the way from Miami Bc nothing compared to the amazing views. The only thing that I’d say was the rep I was talking to changed 3 times, and the person on my wedding day was someone I had never met. However, my amazing wedding planner Vanessa Saturday had worked with the chapel before so I had no doubts that day. Also, there are windows in the chapel that overlook the reception hall, I got stain glass decal and applied it over them so no one would be tempted to look down during the ceremony. Check my pictures and you can see it, they easily came off at the end of the night.

The most perfect venue
I’m absolutely in love with this venue. You get the best of both worlds with a rustic chapel and modern ballroom. Summer was so easy to work with and prompt with responding. She was also flexible with my rehearsal dinner and timing for getting ready. I truly had the most beautiful wedding and this venue is obviously a huge part to thank for that.

Every Southern Girls' Dream!
I was obsessed with the Tybee Island Wedding Chapel before I even went to see the venue in person. The 360-degree tour was a huge plus to get an initial idea of what the venue entailed. And guess what, it was even better in person! The venue has so much space and historic charm. Unlike a lot of the vendors in the Savannah area, the Chapel allows much more flexibility when it comes to catering and on-site items available for use. I cannot wait for our Sept. wedding next year!

Great Experience
From the very first email to the last communication, the staff was prompt, informed, professional, and pleasant. We had absolutely no issues and could not have asked for a better venue experience. The venue is stunning, and it is very convenient to have the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception areas all in one place. It is also great to have outdoor areas where guests can go to enjoy the nice weather. I worked mainly with Krystal, and she thoroughly answered every question I had leading up to the wedding day. She also made sure that every detail was taken care of to ensure that I could enjoy my day without any worries. I am not good at visualizing things; it's much easier for me to see things in person before I can make a decision. Krystal was very understanding of this and willingly met us at the chapel a few times to help me finalize my plans. She was also comforting and calm when the details started to become overwhelming. The only thing I would let other brides know is how the rehearsal can not be at the traditional time if a wedding is booked the day before yours. The rehearsal will have to be in the morning the day before. This did not pose any problems for me, but it might need to be taken into account if anyone in the bridal party will be traveling in. Overall, it was an amazing experience and I would definitely recommend this venue to other brides.

Book This Venue Early
We fell in love with the Tybee Island Wedding Chapel and Grand Ballroom for our daughter's wedding as soon as she took us to see it. The Staff is outstanding and very helpful, providing recommended vendors, meeting with us and our wedding planner, returning calls quickly and willingly answering our questions for the destination wedding. Our guests all remarked at how beautiful the venue was. This venue definitely made our daughter's dream of the perfect wedding, come true. Our advice...book early as the available dates go quickly.

Our decision to choose Tybee Island Wedding Chapel as our destination wedding venue was the best decision we could have made! The venue is beautiful, romantic, and all-inclusive (ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception). The chapel is so unique and beautiful, we didn't need to add a single decoration. Ray, Carla, and Summer were so easy to work with from the moment we contacted them for a tour. They were responsive, friendly, and did everything they could to make our wedding day stress free. Our guests continue to tell us that our wedding is one of the best they have ever been to. As a bonus, the venue is close enough to North Beach that you can take photos there during the cocktail hour and still get back in time for the reception! The venue is perfect and I 110% recommend Tybee Chapel.

So responsive and just generally kind people that work with you. If you like the venue already, they are really icing on the cake. Krystal is AWESOME and so thoughtful and goes out of her way every day to make you feel special and help you out. The ladies at the chapel were tremendously helpful right from the start, when we wandered into the chapel without an appointment. They took their time to show us around and answer all of our questions. They were very patient with my numerous questions as we planned the wedding and offered to help out in any way theu could throughout the whole process. The venue is breathtaking and made for the perfect location for our wedding!! We highly recommend the venue, and the staff!

I found the Tybee Island Wedding Chapel on Pinterest. As soon as I saw a picture I told my fiancé we had to look at it! We made an appointment and checked out the chapel. As soon as I saw it in person I knew this was the venue. We did not see any other venues. This was a destination wedding for us, and Ray at the Chapel was so wonderful to us! He was amazing at keeping in contact with us! We looked at the chapel two years before our actutal wedding day, and they were always great in letting us make appointments to come back. The venue is so stunning that we did not have to use a lot of decorations for the ceremony. Our guests loved the chapel as much as we did!

The Tybee Island Wedding Chapel is BREATHTAKING. It is even prettier in person. I live in WV & had a destination wedding on March 26, 2017. I had never seen the chapel in person until the day of our wedding. When I walked into the chapel, I could not believe the beauty & details of this place. This was the perfect venue for the wedding all in one location. We had the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception here, and there was on site parking for every guest. The venue itself is very beautiful and does not require much extra decoration. Raymond Anaya was the manager we communicated with and he was very professional, responsive, and friendly through the whole process. We are long time locals in Savannah, and I believe this is the best venue we could have booked for our party of 75 in the area. Our out of town guests got to visit and stay at the beach also, which is a plus. The price was VERY reasonable for all that it included and compared to other pricing in the area.

Oh. My. God. Where to even begin!
When initially looking for wedding venues in Savannah and the surrounding area, when I found this venue on Wedding Wire, I knew I had to see it in person. We got super turned around on the island and almost didn't find it; but by the biggest miracle, we did! The minute my fiancé and I walked in and began our tour with Carla, we knew we had found our wedding venue.
I sent Carla millions of emails from the time we booked the venue until the day we got married and she answered them ALL! She was very quick to reply, and always answered my questions in a way that made me feel so comfortable about how the day would go. I can't say enough great things about Carla!
The wedding day was beautiful and it's all because this venue is so well kept and amazing. The Tybee Island Wedding Chapel will always have such a special place in our hearts. I highly recommend this venue!!

The Tybee Island Wedding Chapel is pure magic. My husband and I live in California, took a chance and booked the chapel as our venue based solely on the photos - we were simply blown away. From the beautiful chapel, to the grand ballroom and chandeliers, this place is what fairytales are made of.
Not only that - Ray and the rest of the folks at the chapel were an absolute pleasure to work with. Ray was quick to respond to any questions I had, went above and beyond to make recommendations and put me in touch with local vendors, and coordinated everything like a true professional. He made our day so special and I could not have asked for anything more. I recommend the Tybee Island Wedding Chapel a million times over - writing a review cannot do my experience justice. Thank you, thank you, thank you for making our day so flawless!

I LOVE this venue! The chapel is so gorgeous that you need very little decorations. The ballroom is equally as beautiful. I really liked having everything in one location and my family was happy to have the A/C and still be close to the beach. It was everything I wanted all in one place. The staff is super friendly and extremely accommodating. They were quick to answer all my questions that arose while planning. I loved every minute of being there.

I don't think I can say enough about Tybee Island Wedding Chapel. Raymond was an absolute pleasure to work with. He was extremely responsive and super flexible! I booked the Chapel without ever seeing the venue and trust me, it was WORTH it! The chapel and ballroom are breathtaking and I could not have imagined a more beautiful venue and team to work with for this destination wedding!

I fell in love with the Tybee Island Wedding Chapel the first time my husband and I went to see it! We wanted our reception venue to be close to our ceremony venue, but never thought we would be so lucky to have an all-in-one venue! We loved the elegance of the chapel and chose to not have many decorations as they would take away from the beauty of the chapel. Ray and Carla were incredibly helpful in the preparation for our wedding, choosing vendors, day of, and everything in between! I highly recommend the chapel and the grand ballroom to anyone searching for their wedding venue! We loved the Tybee Island Wedding Chapel and know that anyone who chooses this location for their wedding will love it, too!

Let me start by saying that the team at Tybee Island Wedding Chapel really came to the rescue with my wedding. I had all of my locations and vendors booked for my wedding, with a reception set for a local restaurant, but 2 months before our big day we realized our guest list was NOT going to be in the capacity limits for our reception location. My mom (who lives out of town) called Carla at Tybee, and the next day I was able to meet with Carla and view the venue. As any picture will show, this place is GORGEOUS, but meeting Carla and seeing the atmosphere of the chapel is what showed me this was the right decision. Carla was the perfect combination of laid-back (which my stressed-out state needed) but professional. The team at Tybee handled all of the logistics, which allowed me to actually work on elements of the wedding that are fun to plan, like decor, as opposed to overwhelming, like table rentals, chair deliveries, and layouts--because the chapel has all of those thing already we had far less vendor stress than at our previous location. The price of the venue did give me initial stick shock, but I can say as someone who originally went about trying to book a ceremony location separate from a reception location, vendors for table, chair, and bar rentals, parking attendants, and managing room layouts, the costs really are the same, you just now have them inclusive. Beyond the price, Carla was AMAZING in helping me put together my layout--anything I asked for she made happen, and she often had better suggestions, like where to place our cookie bar and cigar bar. Thank you, Tybee Wedding Chapel team, for really saving our wedding and making every detail come together perfectly!

We enjoyed it and our friends and family from Norway also enjoyed beautiful Tybee Island.
The chapel is beautiful and also the ball room.

If I could give this venue 100 stars, I would. From the first time we toured the chapel (years PRE engagement), I had my mind made up. Carla helped us literally make a dream a simple reality. Carla is AMAZING to work with. She is professional, amazingly sweet, extremely responsive...and she never made me feel like a crazy bride. No matter what the request, Carla always had the perfect solution. The venue is reasonably priced and for the experience you get simply with working with the staff, it's so worth it.
The venue = BREATHTAKING. If you're looking for a venue on Tybee, give this place a shot. It is so dreamy! I LOVED having both the ceremony and the reception in different areas of the same venue. It made set up a breeze and no one had to move a car. It gave our guests a fun vacation (getting married on the weekend of the Annual Pirate Festival was a huge bonus ;) ) and it was just perfect. Shameless plug for Oceanfront Cottage Rentals, as well - so easy to work with both companies at once (and the discount was nice, too!)
My wedding day could not have been more perfect and without Carla it would have been impossible. I don't have enough good words to say about the Tybee Island Wedding Chapel. Now I need all of my friends to get married here just for a reason to return!

if you want to have the most magical wedding and reception available, Tybee Island Wedding Chapel is the place! I felt like and was treated like royalty here. Ray and the staff were excellent! The Chapel and Ballroom are enchanting! I didn't need or want any extra flowers or decorations there because it is already so beautiful! I didn't want to take away from the beauty of this place. Everyone was amazed with the elegance here. I really don't think there are words to properly describe the magic I felt at the Chapel.

I can't say enough about how perfect our wedding turned out at the Tybee Island Wedding Chapel. From the very beginning, when we fell in love with how beautiful it was, all the way to the end, when every detail turned out as we wanted, this was the absolute best choice we could have made Carla was so easy to work with and everything thing about our day turned out perfectly. I would highly recommend this place as a location for both the perfect wedding and also reception. We have received so many compliments and will have cherished memories forever.

When we walked into the Tybee Island Wedding Chapel, we immediately knew where we were going to get married! The attention to detail, the simplicity of the chapel with the grandness of the incredible ballroom made our wedding more beautiful than we ever could have imagined! Ray was so attentive, super helpful and wonderful to work with. Every single picture taken in the chapel or ballroom is gorgeous! Our wedding was everything we wanted and so much more, and it was all because of our perfect venue. I would recommend the Tybee Island Chapel 100% to anyone who is getting married! I have lived my entire life in Savannah, Georgia since 1953. I must admit when my daughter and son in law chose Tybee Island Wedding Chapel, I was some what opposed. Some websites can be like a new movie advertisement showing all the good parts! So I made arrangements with Ray, the manager to visit the Chapel. As I type this email I am still smiling with happiness that that we used the Chapel!!!!! In fact my my enthusiasm after physically visiting made me even more excited about the main event! The place was amazing and the staff was even more accommodating! Ray and Carla made every step with emails, telephone and visits so easy and pleasant! They referred caterers and floral, which we choose Creative Catering and Harvey Design for flowers, they made the event even better! We chose a local band "Bucky and Barry" for music which completed the dream with a smile! The tears of a father walking his daughter down the aisle soon ended with the joy that the the Chapel, staff and vendors provided! Ray, Carla and Chapel thank you so much!!!

I fell in love with the chapel as soon as I walked inside. The architecture is its own decoration-- I didn't add anything except table cloths to the reception hall, and yet people still complimented us on how beautiful our wedding was. Carla and Ray are an absolute pleasure to work with! It may be expensive, but your guests just have to walk around the corner to the reception / cocktail hour, and there are SO MANY places to take great photos around the chapel!! I LOVED EVERY SECOND!

I spent my summers growing up in Tybee and when we got engaged, I asked my (British) fiance to come see what it was all about. He instantly fell in love with the island and with the chapel/ballroom (even though it wasn't built at the time!). Ray was absolutely phenomenal to work with - not sure the word "no" is in his vocabulary. He responded to emails within minutes, even on days where I know he wasn't "working" - but I guess in this job it's 7 days a week no matter what when it comes to crazy brides. Having the ceremony, reception and cocktail hour in one location made set up, clean up and everything in between flow perfectly. It's a venue that gives you that small and romantic feel - gives me goosebumps when I think about it. Loved having the Bride/Groom Suites to prepare in - made the experience so much more magical than getting ready in a hotel room or a bedroom. If I were to start the wedding planning process all over again - this is one of the many many things I would not change. Thank you Ray for being at our beck and call the day of and days leading up to - it was amazing!

Planning a destination wedding from 14 hours away could be stressful...should be stressful you would think! When we were deciding on a location for our wedding ceremony and reception, we were stunned when we saw the Tybee Chapel and Grand Ballroom. We immediately new this venue was the place that we would be married and celebrate with our family and friends. We so appreciated the fact that everything was a flat fee, tables and chairs were there and included and that our vendors from the area were not only familiar with the Chapel and their staff; but also love working with them- that says a lot! Ray is fabulous and was always available for our questions and concerns. Regardless of how many times we asked a question, changed our minds, or had a "freak out" moment when we thought we forget something- Ray was always calm and available with suggestions or pieces of advice. The venue itself is stunning and can be as dressed up or as dressed down as you prefer. Having the ballroom attached to it for the reception is great and our guests loved that they were in one place for the evening. Let Ray and the rest of the Tybee Island Wedding Chapel help make your wedding day everything you have always wanted it to be. We can promise that you won't regret it!! As a bride-to-be, you always want to find that perfect location to host one of your most memorable days/events. Well, I have to say, as soon as I pulled up to the Tybee Island Wedding Chapel & Grand Ballroom site, I knew it was the place for me. The staff was very,very friendly and helpful. Carla was very helpful in making my wedding day wishes come true. And the facility itself was truly breathe-taking! I would highly recommend this location to every one I know. Not only was the facility just as stunning as the day I first saw it, but the set-up of the chapel and grand ballroom was just as I wanted it to be. I was very pleased!

This was an absolutely beautiful venue and a perfect setting for our wedding!!
Ray was extremely helpful at all times. He responded to every email and phone call within 24 hours and usually within 12 hours. Including on his days off! He was knowledgeable about the venue and knew what worked best, but was flexible when I wanted something different. I couldn't have picked a better place to have my wedding!

We loved the chapel and the look of the grounds. The bridal room was great for getting ready. We fit 8 girls comfortably while getting ready. The new Grand Ballroom was the perfect space for our reception. We had about 130 guests and everyone was comfortable throughout the night.
Not only was the space perfect and beautiful, but Ray Anaya made every part of the planning process easy. I considered having our wedding at another location prior to seeing the chapel but recognized their poor service before booking. From the very beginning, Ray was outstanding! He answered all of my emails within 24 hours (and there were TONS of them! Sorry Ray!). He paid attention to every detail for our special day and made sure everything was taken care of for us. He is truly great at what he does! Ray really is the best in the area and one of the many reasons the Tybee Wedding Chapel was so perfect for us! You really can’t go wrong with the Tybee Wedding Chapel – beautiful venue with an excellent staff!

We can't begin to express how pleased and happy we were with the Tybee Island Wedding Chapel and their staff, especially Ray. He was amazing from the first time we visited the chapel up until the day of our wedding. As a local bride, I communicated with Ray frequently, and we visited the chapel numerous times. He was always more than happy to meet with us, and he responded to my emails immediately. We could not have been more pleased with our decision to get married at the chapel. Ray and the whole team at the chapel made the planning process a pleasant experience, and while there may have been other areas that we stressed about, the venue was never once a source of stress. The chapel is absolutely beautiful, and we were ecstatic about the new ballroom. We've been told by many guests that it was the most beautiful wedding they had ever been to. When asked how the wedding was, I respond with one word: perfect! This was in large part thanks to Ray and his team. They did so many things behind the scenes that I had no knowledge of until after the wedding. For instance, one of the groomsmen was missing his tie for the wedding. Unfortunately, he discovered this immediately before arriving at the chapel for pictures. I was told when Ray found out about the dilemma, he went to his car, found a black tie and gave it to our groomsmen. This may seem like a minor detail in the greater scheme of a wedding, but it sums up our experience with the venue and demonstrates exactly what brides can expect from them. If you're contemplating having your wedding at the Tybee Island Wedding Chapel, do it! Our guests thoroughly enjoyed spending the weekend on Tybee Island, and the chapel is the perfect venue! We can't begin to thank them enough for making our wedding everything we had dreamed of...and more!

The Tybee Island Wedding Chapel and Grand Ballroom was a truly magical place to get married! It is breathtaking. After seeing the chapel in person, I wouldn't settle on anywhere but here. The addition of the ballroom makes this a much larger venue and an all-in-one wedding site. We liked having separate areas for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. We also had large areas for the bride and groom to prepare for the ceremony. We used these rooms to have our hair and makeup done and visit with friends before the ceremony. The large wooden beams and brilliant chandeliers make this an elegant venue.
Ray, the chapel director, is incredibly helpful and knows just what he's doing. I live 8 hours away from Tybee, and I never once doubted that the chapel would be less than perfect for my big day (5.25.14).He was quick to answer any questions and provide advice. There was a wedding the day before, but Ray had his team clean up and have the venue setup early enough where my team could get started on decor early the next morning.
I would suggest this venue for any bride. You will not be disappointed.

I cannot even begin to describe how amazing this venue is for weddings. There is not one area or view that doesn't take your breath away. The chapel and ballroom have so much character that I felt like I didn't even need to decorate. My photographer even said that she has never had so many beautiful areas to photograph and that she couldn't decide what to choose with the limited time we had. You have the chapel, the ballroom, the porch, the marsh and a beach, literally across the street, to choose from. And if the venue itself doesn't sell you immediately, wait until you meet the staff. The staff is out of this world. All my e-mails were returned within a day or so (most times immediately), even on weekends. The staff was always so kind and helpful regardless of how big or petty the issue may have been. The location of my rehearsal dinner shut down unexpectedly a month before our wedding (which has no affiliation with the Tybee Island Wedding Chapel) and the chapel/ballroom was already booked for the night we needed. The staff offered a whole e-mail full of suggestions and offered assistance looking for new venues. Not because he had to, but because he's just that nice. They will honestly bend over backwards to make your wedding day perfect. I cannot put into words how important this is and how much it means when planning a wedding. To have such kind and wonderful people surrounding you during this special time is immeasurable. My wedding was absolutely perfect and I cannot give the Tybee Island Wedding Chapel enough stars.

Thanks to Tybee Island Wedding Chapel and Carla and all of the staff. Janie Ussery and Chris Cantrell had their wedding their on Saturday, April 19th and it was fabulous. The Chapel is a beautiful venue and my daughter fell in love with it the first time she saw it two years ago. I knew that was where we were going to have the wedding from that point forward, even though we still went to other venues.
Prior to the wedding date they added the Grand Ballroom and that made it even more extraordinary. With wonderful sound system, colorful up-lighting on the ceiling and beautiful touches everywhere, we couldn't have had a better place for the reception. We were able to accommodate all of our guests with table seating and still had space for a few high top tables to stand around.
Carla and Ray were wonderful to work with for the entire time as we were making all the plans. Carla set the floor plan so many times I think they must have every configuration possible on file now. LOL! Carla was there during the rehearsal and all the way through to the end of the wedding night when she finally said goodbye. She was dedicated and thourough on everything she did and was ready to do whatever she could to make the day special for the bride and groom. We were thrilled with the Chapel and everything they had to offer for that very special day.

The Tybee Island Wedding Chapel was the place I've dreamed of having my wedding at since I was a little girl. Not the exact location, but a place with elegance and beauty that took your breath away.
I met my husband in Alaska, and although the natural beauty of the state would have made a perfect backdrop for our wedding, thoughts of flying family and friends up from the lower 48 and transporting them around made this a logistical nightmare. The search for the perfect venue for our destination wedding started, and no stone was left unturned. We web searched every state and every possible church, barn, warehouse, mill, garden, beach and treehouse was considered and deemed unsuitable.
Enter the Tybee Island Chapel. My Pinterest search had returned a beautiful, timeless white chapel near the beach on an island in Georgia. A perfect place for our friends and family to come and enjoy a vacation, not just the hurried day of the wedding.
Ray was amazing to work with. Having no chance to meet in person before the wedding, he answered every email promptly and professionally. Planning a wedding from 3,600 is no stress free task, but working with Ray set my mind as ease and never did I worry about choosing the chapel for our big day.
Seeing the chapel a few days before the wedding only reaffirmed that we had made the right decision in choosing Tybee Island for our ceremony and reception. Pictures do not do this place justice!
Our wedding day was beautiful, and the chapel was the perfect backdrop!
"Once in a while, right in the middle of an ordinary life, love gives us a fairytale.” Love gave me a fairytale, and Tybee Wedding Chapel gave us our fairytale wedding. We knew from the minute we walked in The Chapel that this was the place we wanted to celebrate the most important day of our life thus far. My husband and I feel incredibly honored to be part of the Tybee Wedding Chapel legacy!
The venue is absolutely stunning! Having everything in one place was easy on our guests, as this was a destination wedding for us, and the majority of our guests. The venue is very versatile – we went for a modern theme, but the possibilities are endless. Likewise, we were encouraged to select any vendors we wanted, so I was able to tailor this space for my own vision. The vendor flexibility also helps when working within a budget. The value is also a plus – the venue needs little decorating and includes tables, beautiful chivalri chairs, four large floral arrangements, and an amazing venue coordinator!
I do not know how I would have gotten through the wedding planning process, especially from Kansas City, if not for Venue Coordinator Ray Anaya. Ray promptly answered a million questions for me, gave fantastic vendor recommendations, and probably measured every square inch of The Chapel for me. He also helped us find beach houses for my family (Case Verde) and the bridal party (Captain’s Lady). We like to think of Casa Verde as our home away from home now, and many of our wedding pictures were taken there. Ray has a calming, professional personality that was a breath of fresh air for an extremely detail-oriented, stressed out bride. He truly has a talent for his work!
It is 2.5 months later, and I am still in complete awe. The pictures and wedding movie are perfect – everyone who sees them comments on how beautiful and unique The Chapel is. This is a place we will come back for many years to come, and that hopefully we can bring our future children to see someday!

My husband and I had the great privilege of being married at the Tybee Island Wedding Chapel on September 21, 2013. We both describe that day as perfect and a large part of that was our venue choice. I would recommend the Tybee Wedding Chapel to any bride. Ray, who is the event coordinator at the chapel, is awesome. He is very detail oriented and very quick in response time when I asked questions. Being an out of town bride, it was very comforting to know that when I reached out to Ray with concerns or questions he was always there with a fast and very helpful response. Ray has an outstanding personality and was great in dealing with friends and family the days leading up to and very much the day of the wedding.
Being an out of town bride brought about concerns of finding vendors that were trustworthy and reliable. Ray was very helpful with this concern. He recommended several vendors from florists to caterers as well as dj's. We ended up using a majority of these recommendations and all were fabulous.
The services provided to you as a Tybee Wedding Chapel bride are endless and again I would recommend this venue to any bride.

I found Ray to be extremely easy to work with. He was always responsive to my requests and eager to do anything to make my daughter and her fiancé's big day perfect in every way. The facility was beautiful, clean, and set up exactly as we had asked. Always a professional, Ray met with us when we needed to coming in from out of town and was very helpful in the floor plan design.

As the MOB, I found myself responsible for most of the arrangements for my daughter's Tybee Island destination wedding. We were so happy with the Tybee Island Wedding Chapel where they had both their ceremony and reception. It is a beautiful venue - spotless, well equipped and full of charming details. Our guests loved it as much as we did! One of the best parts of the event was working with Ray Anaya. He was always responsive, helpful and supportive which was so important to us since almost all arrangements were handled by e-mail and phone. In addition, all of our vendors spoke highly of Ray which made us feel confident about how everything would come together. We would recommend the Chapel as well as Ray and his staff to anyone, without hesitation! Thank you Ray!

My absolute dream wedding came true at this venue. It was the first venue I checked out on my quest and the last. I knew right away there was no other place I would want to get married. From start to finish Ray and Carla were there in the planning. Anytime I needed to visit they were there ready to walk me through and ease my nerves. Anytime I had questions about other wedding services they knew exactly how to help. On the day of Carla felt like a family member who was there helping to set up. Her and Ray were always more than accomodating. This chapel requires little decorating because it is just beautiful! I will always hold this place dear to my heart!

This was a great location for us. We had visited Tybee before for vacation and both thought the chapel was beautiful. We later looked at some photos online, and had to see the location for ourselves. It is gorgeous. I don't think you could have a bad photo taken anywhere on the grounds with how beautiful the background always is. The service was excellent. We got ready at the chapel and had some photos being taken while some friends set up the decorations. The ceremony flew by and I'm told the transition of the chapel from ceremony to reception was completed in about 30 minutes. Everyone was happy that they didn't have to travel to a separate location for the reception. The porch area was wonderful for an appetizer/cocktail hour. We had our bar set up out there for the entire night and it worked wonderfully. The audio/video set up was awesome! The best-man is a DJ for weddings and he simply put together a few playlists on an iPad for the evening. The sound quality was great, and the photo slideshow running on the 2 flat screens looked great as well. The bridal suite is very spacious and we were able to do everything we need and store decorations for later in it. January in Tybee was beautiful, and if I did it all again, I wouldn't change anything!

Where do you start when describing perfection at its highest level? I am not sure that I even know how to put into words how amazing our experience and our wedding was at the Tybee Island Wedding Chapel. But here it goes… First came the engament, and then an over whelming amount of details to figure out. After looking around online it did not take me long to find the wedding venue of my dreams. It had beautiful hard wood floors & high ceilings with wooden beams that surrounded the perfect level of elegance in chandeliers and decor. It had the classic rustic charm of the mountains, however it was sitting just by the ocean. It was amazing, it was breath taking, it was a fairytale, and I knew the second I clicked on the first picture that Jason and I must be married at this place of perfection. It didn’t end there; more perfection, professionalism, and a true caring kindness was still to come. Ray Anaya, the director of events at the Tybee Island Wedding Chapel, was remarkable in so many ways. He was quick to offer a warm welcoming, excitement, energy, and clear love for his job! Never did I feel like I had asked him a question that he had already answered for 100 other brides.
Even before our perfect wedding day Ray had already made us feel like we were part of something at the chapel. Today a few months after our wedding I still feel the same way, and I would be heartbroken if I was to been married anywhere else. The Tybee Island Wedding Chapel is so special to us for so many reasons, and it is so much more that “just the place” we got married it is a part of us, our family, and a place that created many special connections.There is no greater place to get married in Savannah, and no place has better people to support your dreams than here! I am SO proud to be a Tybee Island Chapel Bride!! xoxo

I cannot say enough great things about my experience with the Tybee Island wedding chapel, Ray, and Carla. The main draw to the venue was the gorgeousness of the property inside and out. They spared no expense in turning this life size movie prop into a bride's dream wedding location. I was searching for a venue that was unique and beautiful enough in its own right, that it required little decorating. I avoided bland and dated hotel ballrooms like the plague! I spent a whole weekend scoping out the most unique venues in the Savannah and Tybee Island area, but the chapel was the ONLY one that took my breath away and I could envision getting married there. Because I was an out of town bride from NC, the simpler I could make the planning the better. The chapel had more than enough tables and chairs to the point where I did not have to deal with an outside furniture vendor at all. And I never thought I could get the chiavari chairs I truly wanted...but they are already the standard at the chapel, and they truly give your wedding that more expensive look yet it was included in the rental price! And then there's Ray....we probably have hundreds of e-mails back and forth. He was always quick to respond and provided helpful ideas on layouts. I really wanted the ceremony and the reception to be upstairs and he really worked with me to make it happen. We combined long tables and spread a few rounds around to seat 97 guests comfortably, including a dance floor. It was perfect. He went above and beyond to ensure I had nothing to stress over come the wedding day. I am so happy to be able to share my positive experience with the Tybee Island Wedding Chapel. I could go on and on. They made the vision of my wedding become a reality by being, such a romantic, fun, unique, beautiful, and charming venue. Everyone said it was the BEST wedding they have ever been to, so what more could a bride want?

When we started planning our wedding, I was searching the web and found Tybee Island Wedding Chapel. From the very first few photos, I knew I wanted our wedding there. It had everything we were looking for. The charm of venue is undeniable and there is so much that comes with the price of venue, you just can't beat the value. The service of the staff is AMAZING! Carla was so very sweet and helped us so much. Ray is AWESOME and I can't thank him enough for his attention to detail, his patience (because Brides change their minds a lot) and mostly for being with us every step of the way during our planning! He went above and beyond for us and we feel blessed to have had such a wonderful experience. Simply put, we can't say enough positive things at Tybee Island Wedding Chapel! My husband and I loved everything about our wedding, and our experience with this venue and mostly the staff!

The Tybee Wedding Chapel was absolutely perfect for my wedding! The best part, other than the marriage, was Ray! Ray is the coordinator for the chapel and he is AWESOME! Very easy to work with and very professional. The Chapel is so beautiful that it needs very little or no decorations. My husband and I almost decided on an outdoor wedding before we found the Chapel, good thing we went with the Chapel because it poured rain on our wedding day. If you are planning a wedding in the Savannah area, definitely consider the Tybee Wedding Chapel!

The staff were exceptional!!! They took a personal interest in making our son's wedding special. They listened to our ideas and responded to our concerns. It was truly a team effort. They worked extremely well with outside vendors - caterer, DJ, beverage provider - they were always professional and reliable. It was a pleasure to work with them.

We got married at Tybee Island Chapel on July 19th and it was incredible! Ray was more than accommodating and great to work with when I was planning my wedding. Not only is the location great but the chapel is beautiful and immaculate! We had 60 guests in attendance so it was more than enough room for us! I would advise anyone wanted a destination wedding/beach wedding to have it at the Tybee Island Chapel!

The chapel was absolutely perfect for my wedding and reception. The banquet area below the chapel was wonderful for dinner, and everything could not have been more beautiful. It was definitely my dream wedding. The staff worked well with my wedding coordinator to keep everything running smoothly. I wouldn't have changed a thing.

I first spotted The Tybee Island Wedding Chapel when driving to the beach after I first moved to Savannah in April. I immediately wanted to find out more about this beautiful chapel. After meeting with Ray and seeing the inside of the chapel I knew this was the place that I wanted to marry my best friend at and even more that I wanted my friends and family that traveled from 8 hours away to see when they came to Savannah for the wedding. I knew we had to book it immediately because the Grand Opening was coming up and David Tutera would be there and when people saw this place I knew they would share the same love of this Chapel that I did/do. So we booked it and on February 4th I married my best friend in this amazing Chapel. I could not have asked for a better venue, I could not have asked for better food, decor, flowers, planner....but the great thing about this place is that it is so beautiful itself you really do not want to take away from its beauty but you want to enhance and it and we were able to do exactly that. This is THE PLACE for any bride to have the most special day! The chapel makes you feel so romantic and beautiful, as weird as that may sound. The lighting in the chapel is amazing, the wood, the pews, the chandeliers and windows, gosh I could go on! Lastly, the staff and in particular Ray, that many other reviewers have raved about...they are great! Any of the staff that I met with were fabulous. Ray is amazing, answers any questions you may have, any fears you may have he makes you feel better and he even calmed my extremely nervous Groom, that would have probably rather eloped....so thankful for Ray! Overall I could not have asked for a better experience...as soon as I returned from honeymooning I have heard nothing but "Oh my goodness, that chapel is beautiful"...and it is and I was lucky enough to experience it myself! ...

My now husband and I had just moved to Savannah when I started planning the wedding, myself from overseas, my husband from upstate New York. The first time we met Ray Anya he was amazingly helpful. He went above and beyond and made the whole lead up and the big day so stress free. Ray was always available and gave great recommendations and even did some research for other vendors for me.
I loved the fact we could have the wedding and reception here especially as my family and friends came from overseas and didn't know the area and my husbands family and friends were from out of state. The Tybee Island Wedding Crew handle all the setup and my on the day coordinator found them to be amazingly helpful. Thanks so much Ray and team.

We just had our wedding at the Chapel on April 8th (this was the Chapel's 2nd wedding so far). I have to say....these people are awesome. The Chapel is absolutely beautiful. We got so many compliments on how beautiful our wedding was and how smoothly it went. This is not a full service wedding venue, so you will need to handle the planning and organizing the vendors yourself....but that was the way we wanted it anyway. Ray is very quick to get back to you with any questions you may have and was so incredibly helpful in helping me figure out what reception layout would work best for our wedding. I do recommend that you keep your guest list at or under 100 people if you do your wedding here, just because this place isn't huge and you don't want people to feel crowded and want them to be able to enjoy the beauty of The Chapel. I cannot say enough good things about the Chapel, so hopefully this review helps! 100% recommend Tybee Island Wedding Chapel for your wedding!!

The Tybee Island Wedding Chapel is so beautiful! I instantly fell in love with this place as soon as we walked in. The lay out was perfect and their attention to detail was amazing! I loved the bride and groom dressing rooms in the chapel, the beautiful pews and a piano that sits right up front! The ballroom is amazing as well! The staircase that leads from the chapel to the reception area is perfect! The lighting in the room is beautiful and Carla showed me different up-lighting that can be done as well! The location is perfect because it is so close to the beach where you can sneak in some great beach pictures!

The Tybee Wedding Chapel is a beautiful venue for a wedding ceremony. We had our wedding in the chapel, then moved downstairs for the reception then back upstairs for dancing and cake.
Ray was very professional and helpful throughout the whole process. He helped with planning, gave me suggestions and was there on the wedding day. Ray was really amazing to work with.
