This venue is absolutely beautiful! We received tons of compliments on our venue selection. Karen, who manages the property, is so easy to work with and very accommodating. They are very flexible as far as other vendors coming on site- you can choose whoever you want. You can also choose to hold your ceremony anywhere on the grounds to make it truly unique for you. We rented the property for 3 days (Friday through Sunday) which allowed us an extra day for setup, rehearsal, and tear down. This venue is absolutely beautiful! Book this venue! I received nothing but compliments about this awesome venue. The entire property is absolutely gorgeous --amazing place to take pictures and our guests just loved it! We hosted our rehearsal dinner, wedding ceremony, reception, and day-after brunch all at the manor and it was wonderful.
I live in the area and I have been looking forward to getting married here for years. Karen, manages the property, and she is great to work with. We had the most amazing wedding at Tulpehocken Manor! Karen is the most hospitable person and owner of the manor. She is very flexible welcoming and helpful. The property well it speaks for itself. If you and your other are looking for a rustic home feeling down to earth reception or even both ceremony and reception. The manor is most definitely the way to go.Karen is the most hospitable person and owner of the manor. She is very flexible welcoming and helpful. The property well it speaks for itself. Amazing and beautiful venue. It was so nice to have the whole house to ourselves to get ready in and relax in when we had downtime. Karen was wonderful to work with. She went out of her way to make sure the whole day went well, checking in with us, coordinating with vendors, and even helping us clean up when the day was done. We received so many compliments on the venue - truly unforgettable!Amazing and beautiful venue. It was so nice to have the whole house to ourselves to get ready in and relax in when we had downtime. Karen Brown with the Tulpehocken Manor is excellent to work with! She was helpful, accomodating and allowed us to run with our ideas. The Manor is an old stone mansion built in the 1700s with a beautiful grounds around it and other building such as the smoke house, spring house and cider house. The manor is a fully restored and stocked with a fully functioning kitchen, sitting areas and restrooms. The morning of the wedding, we had friends make breakfast for the whole bridal at the Manor, then the girls got ready in the one side of the upstairs and the guys used the other side of the upstairs to get ready. We took photos on the grounds and had our ceremony and reception there.
