  Can't recommend enough!

  We would recommend The Tea Room to anyone! Their staff were amazing, responsive, and just lovely people. They always had an answer to our questions and took so much stress away from us! Sarah and Maddie were a joy to work with. The Tea Room is the most gorgeous venue in Des Moines with stunning windows and amazing views. We are so glad we chose The Tea Room for our reception!

  Extraordinary Experience

  We had the most extraordinary experience at The Tea Room for our daughter’s wedding and reception. First of all, The Tea Room is extremely elegant and beautiful. And the staff is so wonderful. Elizabeth and Sarah were incredibly organized, insightful, helpful and gracious. They responded immediately to all of our questions and helped us plan a great wedding with their expert advice. The wedding was absolutely perfect and flowed so smoothly. The care to detail and was amazing. It was a joy to work with The Tea Room and we are so thankful and grateful. Truly, it was an extraordinary experience.

  Amazing memories made!

  Our experience with the Tea Room for our son’s wedding was beyond outstanding! Every detail was carried out beautifully by an incredibly caring team of professionals. And the venue is gorgeous!

  Amazing Venue!

  The Tea Room is the perfect place to host your formal event! We hosted our wedding ceremony and reception at this location, and were blown away with how everything turned out! When we booked it there were a few hiccups with prior management, and then when the new management took over about midway through our engagement they were hands-down amazing. Their communication is excellent, they meet with you multiple times before the event to get your vision right, and the day was executed beautifully! We hosted a formal wedding, with a room flip from ceremony to reception and they flipped the room effortlessly! (There were obviously many moving parts!) The venue is definitely an investment, but what you get out of it is amazing. You are also able to bring in your own caterer for your event, so that gives you the flexibility to use whoever you want for food. You do use their staff for alcohol, and they offer many options for the bar. My husband and I (and our families) were extremely happy with how everything turned out and would highly recommend working with the Tea Room team.

  Beautiful Venue

  We can't say enough about the beauty of the Tea Room. It is elegant on it's own, and adding a few decorations made it stunning. We received so many compliments on the venue and how amazing it was. Not only that, the team there is amazing and extremely helpful in the planning process. We had both our ceremony and reception there, which made it very convenient for guests. Please go check them out!

  The Tea Room did an amazing job with our wedding last weekend. Such a well executed event from start to finish! The management and staff were great to work with and I would not have changed a thing. Thanks for making our reception such a memorable one. Highly recommended if you are looking for a classy elegant venue.
