Booking Karen was one of our best decisions with planning our wedding in Temecula. Not only was she super helpful, easy to get ahold of, and a joy to work with - her desserts were AMAZING. We did a variety of mini desserts for a dessert bar and our guests all raved about them. I'm so happy we were able to meet and work Karen! -

Sweet Apron made a delicious 2 tiered wedding cake with the most beautiful cupcakes with flower made with colored frosting! My guest loved the cupcakes and said they were the most delicious cupcakes they ever had. Karen let me sample the cupcakes and I sent a photo of how I wanted them decorated. She excited my expectations. The cake & cupcakes were stunning! -

Karen provided us with the most delicious wedding cake and desserts! Everyone was raving about the red velvet with cream cheese frosting. Our experience working with her was top notch from start to finish. We were able to do a tasting, even during COVID, and she was extremely accommodating through all of our many changes and questions. Her prices are very fair and affordable and her desserts taste great! She showed up on time, set everything up beautifully, and was the perfect vendor to work with. Thank you Karen! -

Karen is simply the best
My husband and I met Karen at a Bridal Open hosted by our venue Peltzer Winery. It was love at first bite. We fell in love with the cake shooters they were so yummy and such a cool concept and a hot item at the open. LITERALLY everyone had them and they were gone within minutes. I followed Karen’s account on social media and LOVED her work and I was so lucky she then became part of our package! (I was going to choose her anyway let’s be real) BOOM! Covid hit and Karen went above and beyond to make at home cake tastings she put together boxes and had us pick them up and the flavors were so unique. I will have to say we went with Almond cake and champagne frosting we still think about it till this day. Our guests loved our dessert bar with our cake shooters and they photographed really well! I recently reached out to Karen to do an anniversary cake and she was so accommodating. I cannot recommend her enough. -

Karen was AMAZING!!! Not only are the desserts she creates delicious and beautiful, she is also insanely well priced and a genuinely caring person. She clearly loves what she does and treats her customers with so much care. Our dessert table was emptied by our guests. They ransacked it so fast because everything was incredible and word spread quick!! Trust me...do not hesitate to book The Sweet Apron for your event. You will NOT be let down. We will be repeat customers for as long as Karen is in operation. Could not be more happy. -

Karen was so great to work with. Even during COVID we were able to book a tasting and have the full experience. The cake was delicious and just as I pictured it. Our guests were raving about the chocolate/peanut butter combo! Karen really made decided on a wedding cake a breeze and was one of the few stress-free decisions in our planning process. -

I met Karen from The Sweet Apron at a wedding last year and I instantly fell in love with her cake and desserts. As a wedding planner I wanted the best cake for my wedding. I wanted a cake that was flavorful, moist* and fresh. After doing many cake tastings, The Sweet Apron convinced me that she was the one I wanted to make our wedding cake. Upon arrival to our reception we saw our cake- it was exactly what I envisioned and exactly how we wanted it, rich in flavor and so in love with it from the decor to flavor! We also ordered cupcakes which were as amazing as our cake. From the bottom of our hearts we can't thank you enough for your dedication to bake amazing cakes. I will definitely think of you when referring clients, and when we need cakes. We are forever grateful!!!!! -

Karen of The Sweet Apron was an absolute dream to work with-- as soon as I tasted her cake I knew I wanted her to create my wedding cake. She did not disappoint-- our cake was not only beautiful and perfect, it tasted absolutely incredible! Our guests had nothing but compliments... I'm so glad we saved the top part of the cake for ourselves... the rest was gobbled up!
Karen was extremely easy to work with, provided a personalized tasting, was very responsive, positive and I would 100% work with her again. Thank you, Karen for making our day so special! -

Amazing Dessert Table!!
We absolutely LOVE the job that Karen did for our wedding. The cake was AMAZING but the amount of other desserts she made for us just put our dessert table over the top. Karen's cake tasting has gone down as our favorite event leading up to the wedding trying all her amazing creations and talking with her. We couldn't be happier with our choice to hire Sweet Apron and highly recommend it! -

Highly Reccomend!!
I’m so so happy that I chose Karen to make my wedding cake! I have a gluten allergy and she is knowledgeable and experienced when it comes to gluten free baking. The cake was so beautiful & delicious, all my wedding guests we’re raving about it! Karen is so sweet, welcoming and professional! I would recommend her to everyone for any occasion. She’s definitely my go-to baker for any event I have in the future. -

Wedding dessert table and cake
Karen, was such a pleasure to work with!!! I highly recommend her. She goes above and beyond for her brides. She made my daughter ‘s wedding cake exactly as she wanted it, made yummy and beautiful desserts for the guests to enjoy. She set up the dessert table so beautifully. She even setup desserts we brought in. The guests loved her desserts and cake so much, there hardly anything left for us for the next day. LOL Turly a God sent for my daughter’s special day!!!!!!! -

The Sweetest!!
Starting with our initial inquiry, Karen was very prompt with responses and easy to get a hold of. When we met her for the first time for our tasting, we knew we made the right choice. Karen is one of the sweetest people you will ever meet, and goes above and beyond to understand your vision and make it happen!
We opted for a dessert bar with mini-cupcakes, pies, and caramel popcorn and a small sweetheart cake for cutting. Needless to say, the desserts were all gone by the end of the night and everyone was raving about the pies!
Karen made sure that everything went smoothly for our wedding day, and our dessert display looked like something straight out of Pinterest! We were highly satisfied with her services and would absolutely recommend her to any friends/family. -

Amazing Cake
Karen was recommended to us by multiple other couples and vendors and boy can I see why! She was very kind and willing to work with us to achieve exactly what we wanted. The cake was beautiful and so tasty every last slice was eaten before the night was up. 10/10 would recommend. -

We were from out of town so everything was done electronically with Karen. She was very communicative and helpful, especially because I didn't have a solid vision of what I wanted. All I gave Karen was a photo of what I wanted the cake to look like and she delivered a gorgeous/delicious cake! We were also looking for a very small cake and nobody else in the area would be willing to do that except Karen. We definitely lucked out!!!
I definitely recommend this place for everyone, especially out-of-town couples! -

Yes, the company is called The Sweet Apron but the owner, Karen, really is the absolute sweetest! She is so professional but also so fun! She was receptive to everything we asked and totally got our vision. Our wedding was 200 people. Karen arrived promptly and her setup was beautiful. Not to mention, people are still talking about the cupcakes! I recommend her to everyone. You will not regret this choice! -

Karen makes you feel like family!
Karen is amazing! She genuinely cares about her couples making sure everything is perfect. She made our wedding vision of a sweets bar come to life and everyone just loved it. I met Karen at a Bridal Open at Peltzer Winery and I tried a mini Orange Mimosa (you read that right MI-MO-SA) cupcake and I then stole two more because they were absolutely delicious!
I immediately contacted her for a meeting and tasting and we scheduled that so fast and it was very easy yet also very professional!
She gave me great ideas at the meeting including a new option she was playing with which was a cotton candy machine! So I absolutely said yes to that!
The whole process was so easy and so delicious. My husband was counting down the days until he could eat those cupcakes again.
Overall we had a cutting cake, three sets of different flavored mini cupcakes, caramel corn, and cotton candy. Everything was a hit our family was trying to steal the leftovers for the “after party” Karen was awesome through the whole process and everyone couldn’t get over the delicious desserts! -
Amari Sent on 09/04/2018The Sweet Apron is the absolute best. Karen is amazing!!! She made my wedding cake and cupcakes and everyone loved them! The wedding cake was absolutely beautiful. She is so kind and really put my mind at ease when I came to her ONE MONTH BEFORE the big day asking for a two tiered geometric mimosa flavored cake and 10 dozen other flavored cupcakes. Like who does that?! I was completely obsessed with my cake table presentation. But it’s not just the presentation and the customer service... the cake was just too good to be true! You can taste the passion and love in each bite, I promise! I will forever be using and referring Karen and The Sweet Apron for any events.

She even provided us with the perfect little tasting basket to take home and try when we weren’t able to sit down for a cake tasting. We received so many compliments about our cake at our wedding. I will definitely use The Sweet Apron again!

Amanda Sent on 05/08/2018Karen is the sweetest (lady with an apron!). I couldn't have found anyone better or nicer to do my wedding cake. She made the most beautiful delicious wedding cake. Everyone was blown away and taking pictures of the cake. To quote a guest at the wedding after taking their first few bites of cake.. "THIS CAKE IS LIFE, OMG IT'S SO GOOOD!".
We tried out a few flavors, picked a style of frosting and I sent her a few pictures of what I wanted it to look like. She hand made the succulents on the cake and people were blown away. She delivered it during our reception and was so flexible.
My cake was more than perfect! -

Donna Sent on 01/14/2018Amazing!!! Karen created the most amazing cake for our wedding reception celebration! I have celiac disease and she created a custom cake to accommodate me. The top tier was completely GLUTEN FREE! And delicious! All of our guests were raving about the cake and asked to get her information for future orders. The orange cake was the most moist and delicious cake and the chocolate with fresh raspberries was to die for. Karen was such a pleasure to work with and she created the most perfect dream cake for us! I would definitely recommend Karen at The Sweet Apron to everyone. 5 stars for sure! We're already thingking about getting some of her orange cupcakes with champagne frosting just for ourselves. Thank Karen!

She did our "Pinterest" wedding cake, as well as cakes and cupcakes for my baby showers, and kids birthdays. I can't say enough great things about her work, not only are her cakes absolutely beautiful, they taste AMAZING! I even loved the tasting kit she sent home with us to try at home before the wedding. It had mini cakes of all her flavors, fillings and icings to mix and match they way we liked. It was so fun, we even made a romantic night of it, and opened a bottle of wine and sat around selecting the perfect combo. On the big day, we had a few hiccups with the flowers that were supposedly left for the cake (someone else's mistake) and Karen improvised and quickly came up with a solution and grabbed a few sprigs from my centerpieces to make it perfect !! Thanks Karen ! And guess what, our cake was just as delicious one year later after we defrosted it for our one year anniversary. Haha You will not be disappointed if you go with The Sweet Apron !

We had our wedding in Temecula but we reside in Los Angeles ... We drove to Temecula to meet her for our tasting, after the first bite of her delicious cakes we decided to go with Karen. I was happy from the tasting all the way up to the day of the wedding. The grooms cake was one of a kind & the bridal cake was dreamy !!!! I would highly recommend them for all your pastry needs !!!! -

The ONLY person to trust with customer cakes! I truly can't say enough about how sweet and gifted Karen is. From the moment you give her an idea to the very end of the delivery on your special day she makes you feel so reassured that you will have the BEST cake possible! (AND YOU WILL)
She is beyond gifted as well as prompt and professional. My cake was the only thing that went according to plan and schedule on my wedding day and I couldn't had been happier! I had everyone at our wedding not just in awe at the beauty but the cake itself was beyond wonderful!
Oh wait, did mention at how classy and fun her tasting are? She doesn't sit you down and stare at you while you pick a favorite, she hand delivers a tasting box that is to die for!! And she even puts a special surprise in there for you! What a gem she is at standing out in a different class of bakers!

The desserts were a hit all night and all my guests raved about them! Most recently she made me Valentine cupcakes for a work party. Karen of The Sweet Apron was a pleasure to work with for my wedding – she’s friendly, responsive, helpful, and you can tell she truly loves what she does. For our wedding, she made us a personal sized wedding cake, as well as various bite-sized desserts for our dessert table. She was very flexible with us providing some of our own desserts as well, as we were on a budget (cookies from Costco, and donuts from a shop in Temecula, which she actually recommended to us). We did a private cake tasting at her home, which was so fun and easy. You can tell she puts her heart and soul into her business and truly listens to your wedding vision. Everything was so tasty, we got so many compliments from our guests. The brownies she made for us were hands-down the best brownies we've ever eaten! And our personal wedding cake turned out exactly how I envisioned. The dessert table setup done by her as well was perfect - everything looked so put together. We were from out of town and email communication was easy, as well as bill pay. I 100% highly recommend The Sweet Apron!

Best cakes we’ve tasted!
Karen is a wonderful baker with a great personality. She is so nice and so professional and her cakes tastes amazing! She made my wedding cake, brownies, and cannolis and they tasted great. Me and my guests loved the desserts! However there was one hiccup and even though it was a tasty mistake, I was still bummed that the wedding cake didn’t end up the way I wanted it to. The top and bottom layers were switched so instead of having a champagne flavored cake served at the wedding, we had a mimosa flavored cake. Again it tasted AMAZING but it wasn’t what I asked for. -
