Allison and Philip were so, so great. We did an engagement shoot with them and the photos were fantastic. They approached it in a photo-journalistic, yet very creative way. My husband was a videographer for a while, so he had his share of interactions with photographers and he loved the way Philip and Allison handled the shoot, both the engagement shoot and the wedding. We just got married so we're still waiting on our photos, but I'm not worried at all about the quality at all.

From the moment my fiancé and I met with Allison and Philip, we knew they were the photographers for us. We had our engagement session with them and I had a blast, and I normally hate getting photos taken of myself. They made everything relaxed and fun and the same held true for the wedding day. We have a great amount of unique pictures that really captured our day. Thank you so much!

Allison and Philip are amazing. They were very easy to get along with and take beautiful, creative, and artsy photos. They made staged engagement photos easy, not awkward, and fun. They are very affordable, down to earth, and flexible. I loved working with both of them and would recommend them highly.

We cannot say enough good things about Allison and Phillip -- and we haven't even seen our wedding photos yet! They are absolutely incredible to work with, easy to get in touch with, and a lot of fun. The quality of the photos are certainly well beyond the affordable price tag of their services -- nearly half the price that many other photographers charge for the same services and certainly much higher quality than most. On top of that, their prints and albums are beautifully done and extremely affordable (and rights are a given, not something for which you must pay extra). We definitely recommend doing the engagement session -- it give us a great opportunity to get to know Allison and Phillip before our wedding day (not the mention the pictures made great Save the Date's). We had a great time with TSP and cannot wait to see our final prints!

We got married July 4, and couldn't recommend Allison and Philip more highly! We had some complications with our wedding venue, and they were both so flexible and worked around the venue issues. They were fun to work and very easy going. More importantly, we were very happy with the pictures. I didn't give them a ton of input as to what kind of pictures we wanted, but they picked up on our personalities and what we liked and I feel like the pictures were very representative of our style. They were a great value for the area and Allison always responded quickly if I had any questions.

One meeting with these two and I knew that I was making the right decision as to who to photograph our special day. Philip and Allison were the laid back presence I needed on a day that was full of nerves and excitement. I'm not big on getting my picture taken, but they managed to put me at ease and catch some really sweet moments (some of which I didn't know had happened until I saw the photos!). They were very communicative both before and after the wedding and got our pictures to us lightning fast! Our family members have had some family shots done with them on a few occasions now and we plan to do the same.

Philip and Allison are hands-down the most amazing wedding photographers. They have a great eye in telling your story of your big day. They are effective in organizing a crazy bunch of friends quickly for some great photographs. Philip and Allison had a great system to quickly and effectively take formal family photos. They had a great balance between posed/natural and fun photographs. These are the photographers that you can put them in a setting and they will perform - you can leave those pinterest-wedding-photo-boards at home. Their business model gives you your photos; you don't have to play any games here. They are very fun/personal people that are a great addition to your big day!

We are recently married and we had Susquehanna photographic as our photographers at our wedding and they were fantastic. They have a good eye for the artistic approach to photos while keeping things running smoothly and timely. I barely noticed they were there too. I would definitely recommend them. :-)

I absolutely loved having The Susquehanna Photographic at our wedding. Allison and Philip made the day so easy and relaxing. They are so great to work with. I got everything from our pictures I could have ever wanted and then some. The photos are beautiful, and the detail shots are works of art. Allison and Phillip did an AMAZING job with our wedding photos! We searched a long time for a photographer with a style we liked and a price that was reasonable, and we found both in The Susquehanna Photographic. Allison and Phillip both have a fabulous eye and are able to capture beautiful candid shots, as well as creative posed shots. We never even noticed them during our wedding. They quietly went about their business and weren't at all intrusive. Each time I emailed Allison, she responded within a few hours at most. Very professional, friendly, and courteous. It was also nice that they were willing to split up so that Phillip could photograph the guys and Allison could photograph the girls who were at different locations. Photos were received in a timely manner; less than a month after our wedding. We could not be happier with our photos! We'll have memories of our wedding for a lifetime because Allison and Phillip captured every detail!

I can't say enough out Allison and Phillip. They were recommended to my by my bridesmaid who knew my style and what I was looking for in wedding photos. Allison and Phillip offer a beautifully artistic, NYC vibe for a very reasonable price. And the product is absolutely priceless.

Allison and Phillip are also such a great team that I felt like I just had two friends at my wedding. I think their work speaks for itself and I would recommend them to anyone and everyone. I can't thank them enough for wedding photos that were more than I ever hoped for!!

Allison and Phil were great photographers. I immediately liked them upon meeting them and was quick to hire them (unlike other vendors where I felt unsure). Allison was my main point of contact and was easy to get in touch with in between hiring them and our wedding, and I really just thought she was great for the entire process.

We didn't get a chance to schedule an engagement shoot even though it was in our contract (our scheduling issues, not theirs) so we didn't know how pictures would go the day of our wedding and just trusted that their other pictures were awesome so figured our day would be great, too.

They were great on the wedding day, we received the digital files 2 weeks exactly after our wedding, and they looked great both online and when I printed over 200 4x6 prints to share with my grandparents who weren't able to make it. We put together an album of those prints to share with family members (most who attended, some who didn't) and received a ton of compliments on the pictures.

Phil and Allison are a phenominal team. We had seen them at my brother-in-law's wedding in Pennsylvania, but I was even more impressed seeing them in action. They were very organized with the slew of group shots, so that they didn't drag on, and they were able to get in tune with our theme and personality to get some really great shots. I can't wait to see the photos!

Allison and Philip are hands down the most amazing photographers you could ask for. The photos they take speak to the true talent and skill they have as photographers. As a couple we we're not the best with being the center of attention, but it felt completely natural to us with Allison and Philip. We did engagement and wedding photos, and they all turned out far more stunning than we could have imagined, especially with our budget. We could say a million good things about them, but we'll it at that!

I wish I could select 10 stars for each category! We had the most amazing experience with The Susquehanna Photographic. Allison and Philip took our engagement pictures, made our save the dates, as well as shot our 8/17/13 wedding. I cannot speak highly enough of their organization, professionalism, and talent. From the start, working with Allison and Philip was like spending the day with your two good friends, except, your two friends are really really good at taking pictures. Due to their ability to make you feel so at ease, Allison and Philip’s photographs become natural reflections of their clients, and without a doubt individual works of art. Looking through our wedding pictures tells a perfect story of our day. Each and every detail, reaction, and moment that I would have wanted them to capture, was. Additionally, Allison and Philip went the extra step to make sure our day went on without a bump in the road. Our friends and family have not stopped telling us how amazing our photographs turned out. We really couldn’t be happier! We highly recommend working with The Susquehanna Photographic. They truly are the best photographers in the Central PA/ Baltimore area.

Working with Allison and Philip for our wedding was a great experience. My new hubby and I are not fond of getting our pictures taken, but Allison and Philip made it feel natural. They are easy to get along with and add a modern twist with their pictures. They were also easy going and made sure they took every picture we wanted. I highly recommend them to anyone in the York area.

Allison and Phillip were more than photographers, they felt like friends (and an awesome couple!). Their work caught our eye from the get-go and their photography is just beautiful. We chose our photographers carefully rather by talent than price and we wanted a more journalistic approach. There are so many photographers out there but Susquehanna Photographic really captures a modern, creative approach. When we had no idea what was going on at times of our day, they helped us know where to go and be. Just simply can't recommend them enough! We can't wait to see the pictures!!!

By the end of your wedding day you feel like Allison and Philip are part of the family. They go out of their way on your big day to make everything perfect. They are amazing photographers, but they also help a lot with keeping everything moving. They did our June 9th wedding at Regents' Glen (and our engagement session as well). The pictures are gorgeous, true art work. They captured all of our memories of the day. We're really glad the pictures will forever be hanging in our home. Allison and Philip are always easy to get in touch with and respond quickly. They are extremely professional. Highly highly recommend!

The Susquehanna Photographic was the perfect photography choice for our wedding. We had a rather limited photography budget and we were unsure that we'd be able to get top-notch photos for what we were willing to spend on them. However, Allison and Philip worked with us and gave us a great deal for a short two-hour session for our weekday event. We ended up with an exceptional number and variety of highly creative shots that we couldn't have been happier with. As a bonus, they were both very friendly and professional -- and extremely fun and easy to work with. We were very satisfied with every aspect of their service.

We absolutely adore Allison and Philip at The Susquehanna Photographic. When Mother Nature didn't cooperate on our wedding day they were flexible and supportive. Our plan for outdoor photos seemed shot and they scoped out new and beautiful locations to take the formal photographs. When the weather looked as if it wouldn't clear, they both reassured us that because of the rain our photos would be stunning and one of a kind. They encouraged us to embrace the rain, and with our umbrellas we stepped outside. Even when the rain was pouring at its hardest they were right there in the middle of it capturing every moment they could, helping to keep dresses dry and hair pinned properly. They did not disappoint.

After a few short weeks we received all of our photos, and there isn't a single one that fails to capture the joy of the day. After going through the hundreds of photos, we felt as if we hadn't missed a single moment of the night. Allison and Philip captured so many moments that we didn't even know were happening and many that we didn’t want to forget. We cannot express how grateful we are to their attention to the details. We have received so many compliments on our photographs and love sharing Alison and Philip’s work.

Allison and Phillip did a great job photographing us on our wedding day. They are very easy to work with and make you feel comfortable when they're taking pictures of you. Allison and Philip were great photographers to have for our wedding. Even though Philip and Allison are in Pennsylvania, they set up our initial consultation in Hunt Valley which was very convenient for us since we are around Baltimore. It was nice having two photographers as prior to the ceremony Allison could focus on the girls and Philip on the guys, which captured a lot of good photos of our special day. On our wedding day they were very inconspicuous but were able to capture a lot of really good photos. Following our wedding they provided us all rights to our photos. We would definitely recommend them to our family and friends.

The Susquehanna Photographic was fantastic from start to finish! I am not a very good planner and have a very busy schedule and we only met once and exchanged a few emails here and there and the day went perfect. They knew all the right pictures to take and made it quick and painless and even FUN! I LOVE their style and the guys even loved them too! Perfect pic and great pricing.

Allison and Philip were so easy to work with and so much fun to be around. They took our ideas and turned them into things that were even better than we had imagined. Phil and Allison are wonderful photographers and very easy to work with. They set us up with an easy-to-understand package that kept to our budget and still provided us with plenty of photos. They were very responsive to emails and phone calls, even when our venue changed and I felt like I was going to go crazy. :)

The nice thing about having two photographers is the ability for one to focus on the bridal party, the other on the groomsmen and then both come together to capture every moment during the ceremony and reception.

They were super polite and professional during the wedding and very flexible when some of the relatives asked them to take photos that we had not previously planned for.

They contacted us soon after the wedding and had all of our photos online for us to share with friends and family. We got a great price on prints and the album we bought was absolutely perfect. I highly recommend them for anyone who needs a photographer in the York, PA area.

We could not have asked for better photographers for our wedding day. Allison and Phillip were a joy to work with, many times they were the ones who carried the train of my dress or held my bouquet, and once Phillip stood in mud over his shoes to get a shot! Our photos turned out beautifully, they captured the big and small details of our wedding day and the personality of our guests. Many of our guests (including us) are camera shy, but after the wedding many of our guests said that they didn't even know there were photographers present. They were open to our ideas for photos and put their own unique style on them. We received our edited photos on our online album within two weeks of our wedding and we received the rights to our photos at no extra cost! If we could get married again we would still choose The Susquehanna Photographic.

I couldn't be happier with The Susquehanna Photographic! They were wonderful to work with from start to finish. Both Allison and Philip have really warm and inviting personalities, so they make you feel completely at ease and comfortable. They are super professional and very creative! My wife and I Could not be any happier with our wedding photos that Phil and Allison have done for us! They made our wedding day relaxing and special, Phil was amazing with the interaction with my groomsmen and I, and Allison was very creative with my wife and her girls. The creativity they have is amazing and they were willing to take the pictures we were interested in and added their own style to them as well. Allison and Phil photographed our wedding two years ago and I STILL marvel at our photos. They captured the essence of our day perfectly. I remember being nervous about being photographed all day, but their laid-back yet efficient manner made us feel incredibly comfortable. Phil and Allison are awesome! They were our photographers for our wedding on July 7th at Moonstone Manor. We also had an engagement session done by them! Those pictures were awesome too. They even drove an hour so we could have the pictures done around where we grew up. They helped design our save the dates which I got tons of compliments on! My mom and I made a lot of decorations for the wedding and we had a lot of detail. Some of it I didn't even get to see because the day was so busy. Allison and Phil captured all of the details we worked so hard on. It was so nice to look through our photos and see everything come together!! They took really unique shots and captured the beauty of the landscape around us as well. We got our wedding photos back just 2 weeks after our wedding! I was blown away by that! We have so many good pictures of me and my husband, as well as family and friends and the wedding details! We will have a hard time picking out the ones we want to hang in our house! Allison and Phil are very organized. While getting family shots they quickly gathered people and got the good shots and sent family on their way to enjoy the wedding. There was not much lag time for people waiting to get pictures. They are very down to earth, easy going and fun to be around too! They are the total package and I highly recommend them for any occasion!!!

Their outstanding service, knowledge, and ability went well beyond our wedding day to also include engagement photos, pre-wedding preparation, a great deal of communication, and post-wedding review. Their photography services were conducted in an extremely professional manner while maintaining a friendly feeling that made the experience all the more enjoyable. All of the staged photos were done in a prompt manner, leaving more time to enjoy the special day. The bridal party was also very complimentary on the efficiency of Susquehanna Photographic to get their pictures “over-with” to enjoy the reception, which I know from past experience is not always the case. The pictures taken during the wedding and reception captured the true activities and emotions of the event, as Susquehanna Photographic took mainly “real-time” photos without us or the guests even knowing they were being photographed.

Susquehanna Photographic did an outstanding job with our special day. We could not have asked for a better team to work with. With Allison & Philip, after the big day is all said and done, you don’t only get top-class photographers and photos, but you also get to know a great couple! We loved working with Allison and Philip. They were so great during the wedding- helping the guys with their ties, watching the puppy while we were busy, looking the otherway while I (the bride) had a temporary breakdown. I could go on and on. They were awesome.
And the photos. OH MY GOD. They are exactly what I was hoping for. We wanted the traditional photos of the family and bridal party, but we also wanted the more modern "photojournalistic" style. They definitely came through. Awesome detail shots.

I love them! They arrived on site and immediately started pictures of us getting ready even though we only paid for them to take pictures of the ceremony and the reception. They also stay out of the way and you barely realize they are there. They are professional, yet super fun. Allison and Philip make you feel very comfortable, so the pictures are more relaxed. I would recommend them a million times over.

This is a long overdue review, but...we were so happy that we found wedding photographers as helpful, friendly, and flexible as Philip and Allison! Our wedding was in an Orthodox church, and the service is quite different from typical weddings. While this made things more complicated from a photographer's point of view, Philip and Allison still captured all of the best moments of our wedding day...we really can't express how pleased we were with the photos! I'm also fairly certain we chose the hottest day of the year to get married, but they didn't bat an eye when we headed outside to take pictures after the ceremony =) Thanks so much to the both of you!

Allison and Philip are amazing, they took the most beautiful pictures of a wedding I've ever seen, I think there is SOME bias b.c. it is my own, but lots of people have mentioned they are in their top list of photos they've seen as well. They have such a talent. When we've looked through them we feel like we are there again. I went back and forth about getting a wedding video, with these, there was surely no need for that. They capture every moment from so many angles b.c. there is two of them in just the right spot! I love everything but something that stood out was how well the portraits were done. I know these are sort of boring for an artist like Allison/Phillip but they turned out amazing, I mentioned to Allison how important these were to me and she took them very seriously, I actually forgot my list of who needed to be in what photo but she already had everything with everyone's names! I was so impressed. We even had that 'crazy aunt' trying to snap her photos in between shots and they were so patient with her and didn't mind at all. By the end they were telling us to hold the pose and asking if anyone else wanted the shot for themselves. You simply don't get that with other photographers. They were really there to do their job but almost acted like part of the family (not in an unprofessional way of course, just really caring about everyone). When I saw the reception shots my draw literally dropped, they captured the complete feel of the day!
In addition, we had a very long wedding (2pm-12am) I had only asked Allison to show up right at 2pm when the ceremony started but she came early and took the getting ready shots even though I didn't think I'd get those. They saw we were having fun at the reception and stayed past when expected to get the full feel of the party, they just really capture your day the way it is and don't seem too concerned about the clock. They certainly made our day one we won't forget, and when my kids get a chance to look at wedding photos they'll know there parents weren't quite so boring! I'm so happy I really have something for a lifetime that captures the feel of our families. Allison and Philip did that for us and we are so grateful. HIRE THEM!

Also, I really recommend the engagement photoshoot. Even if you don't want the photos, it gives you a good feel for them and gives you a chance to get comfortable with them/learn how to pose. It really helped us be more relaxed the day of.

Allison and Philip photographed our Oct 2011 wedding at Stoudts Brewery. They were really laid back and fun to work with -- we were instantly comfortable with them and the pictures prove it. They were also very professional and organized; I felt totally comfortable relinquishing control to them;) They were creative when it came to posed shots, have a great eye for detail, and prices for coverage and albums are very reasonable. They captured some amazing candids during the ceremony and the reception, but were so stealthy that no one even noticed they were there. Photos arrived in two weeks, as promised - plus, you get full ownership of all images through a Creative Commons license. HIGHLY recommended!

Philip and Allison are absolutely FANTASTIC! They were an absolute dream to work with. The way they posed us felt so natural and easy. Even my brothers, our groomsmen, who HATE getting their pictures taken enjoyed the photoshoot and, later, mentioned how great they were. Every single one of our wedding pictures came out beautifully and they captured how completely in love we are and how much fun we had at our wedding.

Allison and Philip were very patient with me and all of my last minute changes, they showed up exactly on time and were very professional and courteous. Five stars aren't enough; they should get a million!

I would strongly recommend The Susquehanna Photographic to any bride and groom. They were wonderful to work with, flexible, and professional. Our ceremony went 30 mins over the time schedule which pushed back the amount of time we had for pictures. Allison and Phillip stayed very relaxed and provided clear direction during "picture time" with our families and bridal party. They work in a timely way, and capture great wedding moments. Allison and Phil were the best decision we made for our wedding day (besides choosing to marry each other!). From our first meeting they were professional, knowledgeable, and willing to help us think through other aspects of our wedding besides the photos! We booked them immediately! Their package came with everything we needed PLUS a Creative Common License, which is invaluable. We are now able to share all our photos with friends and family, who can print them at their convenience.

Even though we knew of several shots we wanted to make sure we got, Allison and Phil went above and beyond to stage some beautiful creative photos. We had some patches of rain and they totally worked around them so we had no wasted time! They were always there to capture the big moments (including helping us get shots of our HUGE families at the reception) and then all those little moments during the reception we missed. We received the photos on CD 10 DAYS after our wedding! Amazingly awesome! BOOK THEM!

Allison and Philip are awesome! My wedding was on May 29, 2011 at Lauxmont Farms in Wrightsville, PA. They are not at all intrusive, you hardly know they are there...yet they manage to capture every single moment! I had quite a few people comment on how professional they were. Our photos are amazing! I don't even know where to begin to write a review of Allison and Philip! To say they were wonderful would be an understatement!

From the first meeting to the day of the wedding, everything was so easy. Whenever I had a question, I could e-mail Allison and she would get back to me quickly and put my worried Bride-mind at ease! She even gave helpful decorating tips ;) The responsiveness after the wedding was so quick too. It seemed like we got our pictures back in no time!

They are talented professionals. They worked so well with our crazy wedding party and had great ideas! Even after the wedding, I'm still getting comments on how nice, cool, fun, and talented they were.

The value is amazing, it really can't be beat. For all of the work they do and the amount of images you receive it's a steal. And the albums are gorgeous! I had never seen any like them.

I can honestly say I have no regrets choosing Allison and Philip to document the best day of my life so far :)

Allison and Philip were amazing! They were everything you could hope for: flexible, creative & professional. They were willing to work with me by email and only a couple short face-to-face meetings since I lived out of state. Their goal is to photograph your wedding day as it is and to tell your story, not to give you cookie-cutter images that could have happened at any event. They were very professional on our wedding day, but at the same time they were relaxed and comfortable, which helped all of us look relaxed and natural for our formal shots. Everyone from my grandparents, to my cousins to my college friends has commented on how great Allison and Philip were and how wonderful the photos are. They also designed awesome thank-you notes for us with a photo of my husband and me on the front- I would definitely recommend taking advantage of that option. My only regret is that my husband and I didn't make time to schedule engagement photos with Allison and Philip, since that would have given us even more amazing photos!

Allison and Philip were incredible. I was looking for a photographer that offered me to right to my photos, at an affordable price. With Susquehanna Photographic I got two of them for less than the price of any single photographer I had researched. They responded to my e-mails swiftly, often within the hour. Their office is a bit hard to locate, but Philip walked out to meet me at my car and guide me in. I booked with them and then, due to a family tragedy, had to move the wedding up by more than 8 months. This left me with the daunting task of putting the wedding together in a few weeks, and they were extremely flexible, moving their own holiday schedules and offering to network me with other vendors to pull it all off. When it came to the day of, they were incredibly helpful, Allison helping me get ready and Philip stepping in as our coordinator, making sure everyone was at the right place at the right time. I didn't notice them during the ceremony but they got some great shots. They made the family poses and bridal party photos incredibly fun and simple (which is hard with my family) and they captured the fun and vibrancy of the reception wonderfully. They really listened to what i wanted in my photos and did an excellent job capturing the love and fun of the day. It's only been two weeks now since my wedding, and I already have the DVD and online gallery of all the photos. Overall, they were stellar.

The Susquehanna Photographic (Allison and Phillip) were very professional and also very flexible to meet with us and make sure they took the pictures that we wanted them to take. They also answered any questions we had through e-mail very promptly.

We wanted to make sure our photography session after our ceremony didn't take extremely long because we know what it is like to wait at the reception for the bride and groom to arrive. However, the photographs were very important to us so we wanted to make sure they were spectacular. We expressed these thoughts to Allison and Phillip in one of our first meetings. On our wedding day they made sure that we got all of the shots we wanted where we wanted in a fast way, including family pictures, bridal party pictures, and pictures of just the two of us. All the while they were so patient and professional.

From our first meeting with Allison and Phillip, my worries about our photographs were gone because I knew that everything would be taken care of. Now we have beautiful photos to show!

We stumbled across Philip and Allison at York's Wedding Expo. Out of the many wedding photographers at the expo, their work really jumped out to us. We were looking for artist and creative photographs that we could cherish through our life, not the typical posed wedding photographs. So we chose Philip and Allison, and what we got was even more than we expected. Not only did their photographs surpass our expectations, but they were a pure delight. Philip and Allison have a real eye for beautiful and artistic compositions. Somehow they seemed to capture the emotion of every special moment from our wedding. Allison and Philip did both our engagement and wedding photos. They are amazing and all of our friends and family rave about the quality of the images and their creativity.

Their wedding package is an amazing value considering you get 2 photographers and all of the photos under a Creative Commons license. It was very important to us that we have access to the photos for the future. And we're impressed that Susquehanna Photographic is so forward thinking that they use a Creative Commons license. Most photographers do not offer this option.

Additionally, they were flexible and worked with us when we wanted to change the schedule for our wedding. They were very professional during the event. They blended in enough to get great shots, but also interacted with our guests in a friendly manner.

Overall, we loved working with them and will definitely contact them in the future when we need a photographer or two.

Honestly, if you don't use The Susquehanna Photographic...you will be cheating yourself. We had a specific look in which we wanted to capture on our wedding day and Phillip and Allison nailed it! They simply blew us away with the abilities and keen eye they posess. And even after almost 2 years i find myself sitting down and looking through our wedding album for the simple fact that the photos are above and beyond anything i could have imagined. I've seen many, many wedding photographers over the years after see the work The Susquehanna Photographic does...now i have seen the best! Let's be honest, there are alot of photographers out there but you can count the good ones on one finger.

Philip and Allison were the best deal of the entire wedding. For someone like me who values pictures of just about everything, they were so worth the great price they charge! I met them through my bridesmaid, and boy am I glad I did!! I do not hesitate to recommend them to everybody I run into. They got shots of the boys and girls which I really wanted, even though they weren't sure at first where the boys would be! They, also, travelled from York to Philadelphia and were so affordable it couldn't have been any easier.
My husband researched the photo site before hand (I had never been there) and Philip and Allison had never been there either. I had several people ask me, "Have they been here before?" because they were so efficient and creative on the spot!
I am so thrilled with my pictures and it was so nice to only wait 2 weeks to get to see them online!!

We live in Nebraska and planned a long distant wedding to Pennsylvania (where my family resides), and Allison was great to work with over email and on the phone as we ironed out the details from 1500 miles away. The day of our wedding, Allison & Phillip gave equal attention to both the girls and the guys, and somehow managed to capture great details of the ceremony in between all the people shots! Their compositions are tasteful and well balanced. When our time with them was running short, they stayed at our reception longer then their paid time to capture our cake cutting and toasts...which they did not have to do! They quickly set up an online photo gallery for us to share with our friends & family. Everyone loves the photos! I am sad that they don't lived closer to Nebraska, because I know we would use them for other photography jobs...but we are so thankful that we stumbled across these guy in York, PA! All the other photographers that I liked but couldn't afford had starting prices of $3000 for their wedding packages. Four times more than Susquehanna Photographic. They truly captured our wedding day in a way that we never imagined. Thank you Allison & Phillip!

We stumbled across Allison and Phillip by doing a websearch and I am so happy we did! They went above and beyond to create the best pictures that really reflected our own style. They met us in a location of our choice for our engagement photos which turned out great! They also stayed at our wedding longer than we had agreed to just to get some nice shots of our reception. They really went above and beyond to make our pictures just as special as our wedding day. They are versatile and the cost was way less than they are worth!!!! Grab them now while you can!!!

One word: Amazing!!!! Susquehanna Photographic was truly a God send. My (now)husband and I were looking at various places for photograghers and they were all out of our budget. Then we found Allison and Phillip and we fell in love with them and their work from the beginning. The cost was just right. We got our engagement pictures done the first time and didn't really like them (not much to do in a room, but it was snowing outside at the time) so Allison allowed use to have another session when it got warm outside. Went to the lake and took pictures. THE OUTCOME WAS BREATH TAKING!!!! I love love love the pictures. And then the wedding came and both of them did a wonderful job. I am so glad we went with them. I would not have had it any other way. They were very easy to work with and very fun to be around. They also allowed us to make up our own poses as well when we did pictures :) And they send a CD with the pictures of everything on it and that helps me out so I can pass it around to family members and friends who want to see the pictures and don't have access to the internet. I love these guys and will DEFINITELY be doing future business with them when I need family photos and so forth. Any time someone says they need a photographer I tell them about Sus. Photo. :) I can't thank them enough for helping me to keep these memories alive through the photos. These guys are amazing, wonderful, terrific, and creative. Love 'em!

I am reviewing prematurely, as I haven't yet seen our actual photos from our April 30th wedding (it's only May 10, so I wasn't expecting to!). So, while I cannot comment on the photography, I can say that Allison and Zach were an absolute pleasure to work with. I found them through a friend (Allison's aunt), and am so very happy that I did. We decided to have our pictures done before the ceremony, and had booked our photography team starting at 3:30. We found out the day before that someone was going to be on site, so we could show up earlier if we wanted to. My bridesmaids and I arrived at 3, and Allison and Zach arrived pretty much the same time we did--despite having been detoured on Rte. 15. I imagine they were hoping to have a minute or two to scout the grounds, but instead they got a slightly frazzled bride, two bridesmaids, and a limping mother-of-the-bride. Throughout the rather hectic two hours that followed, Allison was a godsend. While my sister was waiting for the adhesive on her stick-on bra to dry and my mom was complaining about how much her feet hurt and my bridesmaids were sewing up each others' dresses, Allison calmly managed to not only take pictures, but also relay messages and ease my worried mind. She was funny and relaxed, and gave us plenty of direction without being pushy (and I know we were not easy to work with!). She even breezily disregarded my mother and bridesmaids (generally tactful and well-mannered people) hovering in the background taking pictures over her shoulder--despite my reminder that we had hired professionals for a REASON. Sigh. My mother-in-law decided she wanted pictures of each side of my husband's family taken...after dinner, when there was no natural light left, so poor Allison and Zach had to corral us in a room and try to get the exposure right while all kinds of relatives were milling around and grumbling (for instance, while they were testing the light, I heard more than one person complain that they "weren't ready" for the picture, or ask how many pictures she was planning on taking...I don't know much about photography, but apparently some people know nothing at all!)--and again, taking the damn pictures over her shoulder! Come on, people. At any rate, she and Zach were troopers--completely professional, never displaying any annoyance or irritation (though I KNOW they must have felt it!), and magically getting everything done. I can't wait to see the photos....but their presence alone was worth a review! Oh--I should also add that their rates are fabulous, and they took on our wedding after our original photographer backed out. Thanks, guys!

My wife and I used Allison and Phil for our wedding and engagement photos. They were really easy to work with and our pictures turned out awesome! We aren't super creative people so we left it up to Allison and Phil to tell us what shots would look better than others. We spoke with a lot of other companies, but they were the easy choice after meeting them. It's great to have both of them for the wedding because Phil and be with the guys and Allison with the girls. They made sure we didn't see each other that day and coordinated our shots around the hotel accordingly. During the reception they were "in the background" and never in anyone's face. They captured our wedding day just as we wanted and we'd recommend them to anyone looking for a cool couple to work with who will do a great job.

My husband and I use hired the Susquehanna Photographic based on recommendations from friends, and they lived up to all the recommendations. They were extremely professional and delivered the promised product, beautiful professional photographs of our wedding day. They did exactly what we asked, which was to capture the day using minimal posed photos and clear directions to the entire group when group photography was necessary. As a team they are able to steer the different members of the wedding party, and I know Allison did a great job while I had a melt down in the bridal suite.

We truly appreciate the effort they put into capturing our wedding day memories.

Choosing a wedding photographer is an important decision. Photographs capture all of the important and special moments of a couple’s big day. Allison and Philip at The Susquehanna Photographic understand this and do a fantastic job of making a couple’s special day come alive. We appreciated that they acted as though our big day was just as important to them as it was to us. They took beautiful photographs, but also blended right into the wedding guests. Our guests even commented how they were always there taking photos, but also inconspicuous. We understand that it is difficult to make a decision on a wedding photographer, but if you want to be able to look back on you special day and breathe a sigh of relief that every moment was captured, then The Susquehanna Photographic is the right choice for you. Close friends of ours have already booked them for their wedding next year!

Allison and Phillip were outstanding!! We couldn't afford most of the photographers we had seen at a bridal show but, the Susquehanna Photographic fit right into our budget and gave us such quality photographs that I don't believe other more expensive photographers could touch. They don't do a lot of retouching to make you look like someone other than yourself. It's you on your special day captured in the perfect moment. It was great having two photographers because, Allison could be with the girls and Phillip could be with the guys while we were getting ready. They were also able to capture two different perspectives on the ceremony which gives great options for photographs. They are both really fun and relatable which is are great qualities because it would be very difficult to relax otherwise. I recommend them to anyone!!

The entire experience with The Susquehanna Photographic exceeded our expectations. At first, the attraction to the company came in their creative, catchy, and easy to navigate website and their immediate responses to our emails. They were incredibly organized and easy to work with, and when we first met them, we felt comfortable expressing our ideas and vision for the wedding, while they also developed their own vision for shooting the wedding photos. While they were not the most inexpensive in the area, they seemed to have the best deal with the highest quality. On the day of the wedding, they gave us enough time to capture the whole experience, and they were able to catch SO many special moments without getting in the way. Our pictures ended up really expressing our personalities, with an artsy and fun feeling. They were awesome, and come highly recommended.

The Susquehanna Photographic takes excellent pictures! We chose Allison and Philip because of their unique style and of their excellent price. We loved that we got the rights to our photographs immediately. Allison is very good about responding to your emails and phone calls and they are great about being flexible to meet with you according to your schedule.

Our photos were available up online in our own gallery within the two weeks they promised, however, they did forget to do our "colorized" photos. (black and white photo with one element that is colored). I had to ask Allison about them. She did correct it and the colorized photos were on our discs that they sent to us. Our discs of photos did not arrive until about a month after our wedding, which is later than what they had told us. They may have been travelling out of town at the time, but they did not tell us that until after I had emailed them asking for the discs.

They are both very professional and we hardly knew they were there the day of the wedding! They stayed "out of the way", but were right there to get the right shots! I would highly recommend them to anyone! Two photographers are great, because we had so many photos in different angles to choose from. Their prices are definitely reasonable with their prints being cheaper than anywhere else my husband and I looked at.

Allison and Philip make a great team and will definitely deliver the greatest quality of photos for you!
