Surf Club on the Sound was absolutely incredible to work with for our wedding day! Their staff, especially Jaime, were amazing to work with - very professional, courteous, communicative, and understanding. Jaime really took the time to answer any and all of our questions, reassuring us that we would have the best wedding day. The venue itself is beautiful and our guests are still talking about all of the food and drinks - probably the best seafood and beef I have ever had at a wedding. The staff assigned to us for our wedding day were also attentive and made sure we stayed on schedule, we were happy, and our guests were happy (thanks Paul and Dayanara!). I would give Surf Club on the Sound a million stars if I could; their customer service is unmatched and their venue is breathtaking. I would recommend this place to any bride looking to book their special day. -

Perfection from start to finish
We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect wedding venue than The Surf Club! From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations. The location itself is stunning—elegant, timeless, and beautifully maintained. The food was absolutely incredible, with our guests raving about it long after the night was over. The overall atmosphere was magical, with the perfect mix of sophistication and fun.
A special shoutout to Jaime, our event coordinator, who was an absolute dream to work with. He was so easygoing, attentive, and responsive to all my questions, even over text, which made the planning process so much smoother. Jaime’s professionalism and dedication ensured everything ran seamlessly, allowing us to truly enjoy our special day.

I recently had the pleasure of hosting my wedding at the Surf Club and I can't recommend it highly enough. From the moment we inquired, the communication was outstanding. The team was responsive, attentive, and genuinely invested in making our day special. Rick the banquet manager answered all of our questions and was incredible! We never had to worry about a thing! The food was amazing and everyone loved our cake!
The venue itself is absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views and elegant spaces that provided the perfect backdrop for our ceremony and reception. The attention to detail was evident, and every corner was beautiful! I wish we could do it all over!! I can’t wait to get all of our professional photos and video back to see it all again!
Our day-of coordinator, Bri, was a true gem. Her professionalism and organizational skills ensured everything went smoothly. She was always one step ahead, managing the timeline and making adjustments as needed without us ever feeling rushed or stressed. The Matre’d was equally impressive, overseeing the flow of the evening with grace and ensuring our guests were well taken care of.
Thanks to the incredible support from the entire team, we were able to fully enjoy our special day without a hitch. If you're looking for a venue that combines beauty, excellent service, and a supportive team, the Surf Club is the perfect choice. The price was extremely reasonable considering the location and everything that was included! Thank you thank you thank you for helping us create unforgettable memories!

I worked with Jamie at the Surf Club. He made me feel comfortable and confident that our wedding would be perfect. He did not disappoint. The food was phenomenal - our cocktail hour was stunning. All of the employees were a pleasure to work with. Andrea, my attendant and Paul, the maitre d- made sure we were tailed all night long with food, drinks, and dialogue on what was happening throughout the night. It was a seamless and beautiful venue. They brought my vision to life. -

Amazing wedding venue! Top notch food & service!
We had our wedding at the Surf Club a few weeks ago. The venue is absolutely stunning and gorgeous! The process was seamless from the beginning to end. We looked at many other venues however we knew Surf Club was the one even from our first visit. The moment you drive up, you are greeted with beautiful statues and water fountains. You truly feel a European vibe and it is spectacular. Guests were gasping as they entered the venue. The staircase, reception room, LARGE dance floor, and beautiful cocktail area will blow your mind. We couldn’t have had better support, with Jaime Gizzo by our side through every step. Jaime was always available for guidance throughout the entire planning process. He was only a text message or phone call away and he always got back to me in a very timely manner. Jamie gave us great food recommendations and advice and truly went above and beyond to make sure we had the most amazing night. The food was out of this world, we were stuffed the night of our food tasting, but could not stop eating. Our guests are still raving about the food- the cocktail hour stations, upgraded to the raw bar, dinner and the Viennese hour was OUTSTANDING. Surf Club also made our stunning and delicious cake. The Surf Club is a classy, elegant wedding venue and I highly recommend it to any couple searching for their dream wedding location. Thank you, Jaime and staff, for everything!! The staff was amazing especially the bridal attendant Victoria and Maitre D. They were very accommodating and attentive. It was truly a night to remember and our guests are still raving about everything!!!!! A++++++++ I wish i could give 100 stars to this venue! Surf Club is one of the most beautiful venues I have seen. Not only that, but Jamie and Mike are the most understanding, professional, and accommodating venue mangers that I have ever met, and I have met a lot of them. The way they understand everyones cultures and believes is unexplainable. They have went over and beyond to accommodate and help to make our event a memorable one. The food is fresh and delicious. I will always have all of my events at the surf club. The maitres d' Briana was amazing, professional, and sweet. I totally recommend this place for all of your events 100%. -

My fiancé and I booked this venue a year in advance in hopes that things with Covid would be better. Unfortunately things have gotten worse and we had to postpone our event. Jaime was so professional and really worked with me. He was extremely compassionate and empathized with my family and I. The last thing any bride wants to do is to postpone their dream wedding but Jamie helped me so much that I am forever grateful and impressed with this venue and their professionalism. The surf club by far is the best venue in New Rochelle, not only will you get the scenery but you get the professionalism and customer service. Once again thank you so much Jamie. -

My experience with the Surf Club was excellent in every way. Can't say enough great things about this venue and the staff.
My husband Brian and I found everything we desired for our wedding at the Surf Club. The venue is beautiful and the view of the Long Island gives it added natural beauty. We worked with Jamie and he was extremely pleasant courteous and accommodating and professional as was the entire staff. They serve plenty of food and it was delicious. Our family and friends raved about our wedding and we're very thankful to the Surf Club for making our big day excelent in every way! -

When my wife and I (fiances at the time) walked through the front door of The Surf Club our breath was taken away. We knew this is where we were going to get married. Our first appointment was with Rick, and right away we felt so comfortable with him. Rick showed us around the venue, explained how The Surf Club operates, and Rick was so organized and service oriented. We booked the Surf Club 20 months before our wedding, so Rick and I spoke a lot. Every time we called, Rick knew exactly who we were, and was able to answer any questions we had.
Aside from the planning process being so smooth and stress free, the wedding day was incredible. Rick was on the scene the whole night to make sure everything was going according to plan. The reception room was set up perfectly, the ceremony room was set up perfectly, and so was the cocktail hour room.
The food was amazing, and abundant. The drinks were flowing, and the bartenders were so efficient.
On our wedding day The Surf Club provided us with a Bridal Attendant named Merril. Merril was INCREDIBLE! She knows how a wedding needs to flow, she catered to every need of the bride, and even anticipated things the bride and groom were going to need before they even had to ask. She was so hands on while being incognito, we cannot thank her enough.
We really don’t know what else to say but to say thank you to Rick and the rest of the team at The Surf Club. You all blew us away, exceeded our expectations, and curated an evening for us, our friends, and our family that we will never forget. The venue is gorgeous and clean, and we wouldn’t hesitate recommending The Surf Club to anyone.

The Surf Club made our fairy-tale dreams come true! Everything from Cocktail hour to the Venitian hour was amazing! Our family and friends couldn't stop raving about how fantastic the food was! They had so many station options and delicious food to choose from! Jaime was wonderful to work with! He answered any questions or concerns my husband and I had and made this a wonderful experience. He really took the time to walk us through every step of the way and made planning a breeze!Our bridal attendant Merril and Matire'd were so kind and there for us every step of the way. They made sure everyone was having a good time and that the bride and groom were well taken care of! My sister had gotten married at the Surf Club nine years prior to my wedding and from our previous experience it was once again outstanding! I can't recommend the Surf Club enough! We are so happy we were able to start our happily ever after at such a beautiful place! -

My husband and I are incredibly happy that we chose to have our wedding at the Surf Club. It was an absolutely perfect day – from the beautiful venue to the amazing staff to the delicious food. Jaime was with us from the beginning to make sure we had everything we wanted for our special day. He was incredibly accommodating and an absolute joy to work with. He provided answers to all of our questions, made sure everything was in line for wedding day and had a sense of professionalism that went above and beyond.
Fast forward to wedding day and the staff at the Surf Club (Breann was our bridal attendant and Michael was our maître’d) got everything right. We honestly couldn’t have been happier that everything went so smoothly. Our guests continue to rave about the cocktail hour and the food. We would highly recommend the Surf Club to anyone!

My wife and I got married on Sept 20th 2019 and let me just start by saying that the Surf Club was nothing but incredible every step of the way. First off, Jaime Gizzo was awesome. From the first time we went into surf club inquiring about our wedding date, Jaime showed us around. Gave us so many details and was so professional and helpful every step of the way. He always received us with open arms and answered all of our questions. A month before the wedding we went in to meet with Jaime to do the food and cake tasting because surf club has their own chef that does everything in house and let me say, WOW. Surf club’s food was phenomenal. 5 Star quality food and dessert. We didn’t know what to choose. Everything was so delicious. Red Velvet with the strawberry filling is deft the way to go with the wedding cake. So delicious. The day of our wedding everything was perfect. We got married in a church and after the church ceremony and pictures all day my wedding party was tired and sooo hungry. Jaime received us at the door upon our arrival and took my whole wedding party to the Bridal Suite and had food for all of us before cocktail hour started. He was so helpful, polite, professional and made everything run smooth. We were also greeted by our Maitre D Ruggerio and our Bride Attendant Merrill. Ruggerio had everything set up and made sure nothing was missing. He helped us so much the rest of the day and was always smiling and courteous to every question and need we had. He made sure all of our belongings were packed at the end of the night. Merrill treated my wife and I with the upmost respect. I mean everyone did at surf club. Merrill always made sure we had our signature drinks in hand. She was always right next to my wife making sure her dress was fixed properly and everything was going according to plan. I was in love with some steak bites wrapped in bacon and she made sure I had some on my table all night with the ranch sauce lol. Thank you Merrill. You were amazing. All of my guest are still talking about the wedding and the food. My guest tell me the only thing bad about your wedding was TOO MUCH food lmao. I didn’t know what to pick. Everything was delicious. At cocktail hour we had a Mexican station, Chinese station, Seafood station, Pasta station etc etc and everyone loved every single food they tasted. Friends and family are still raving about how good the food and the service was and how full they left Surf club. If you are getting married, deft do it at surf Club. They will treat you like you deserve to be treated, like a King & Queen. I’m hoping someone gets married at surf club because I need to enjoy their food again. It was nothing short of amazing! Delicious is an understatement! -

We had seen a few venues before going to The Surf Club and were blown away by his ability to make us feel comfortable with the process. We both also have major food allergies and he was so accommodating to our needs. We are very excited for our wedding there next fall! -

Obviously one of the biggest parts of planning a wedding is finding the right space that fits exactly what you envision. I searched and searched online before we spent time going to actually look at venues and the Surf Club on the Sound was literally the only one that fit our every need. The entrance pulling in, the staircase when you walk in, the ceremony space on the water with the gazebo, and the reception banquet halls are all completely breathtaking. What more can you want??
We worked with Jaime the whole way through and he was absolutely fantastic! I could not have felt more confident when working with him. He made everything so easy and the whole staff at the Surf Club was fantastic.
I have to give a special shoutout to my bridal attendant Bri. She was absolutely amazing!! I don't know what I would have done without her. The whole day from when I arrived at the Surf Club to when we left, she was 100% attentive to what I needed. I always knew where I had to be and I always had a drink in my hand! She also made sure we actually ate our cocktail hour food and had our dinner meal. She ran all of the little stuff by me and made sure all of the details were in order. At the end of the night she packed up all of our stuff in the bridal suite and all of our reception items in the big bins I had brought with me the day before. I didn't lose one thing and I was so relieved. She made sure we had all of our gifts and she was the one who walked us out into our limo. I couldn't thank her enough for being so amazing!!
The major factor that was super important to us in picking a venue was the food. We had heard such great things before we booked and then when we had our tasting, we fell in love. It was the best part of the whole wedding planning because I got to pig out with my soon to be husband and everything we tasted was fantastic. Ever since the big day, our guests can’t stop raving about the food!
The whole experience we had with the Surf Club on the Sound was worth every penny . They truly made our dream wedding come true! -

We worked with Antonio from the very beginning for a year and half. He truly became like family. From the day we stepped in to the surf club we just knew this was the place we had to have our wedding. Antonio always responded to all my emails and concerns promptly and I felt that he truly went above and beyond for us. We could not be more grateful. We worked with Sandro from the very moment we walked in for the first time. Aside from the beauty of the place itself, Sandro was probably the very first reason we picked the Surf Club. He was very straight forward with us from the get go about everything. We trusted his many years of expertise and attention to detail. Any time we had a question, within minutes he would call or email. He was incredible. Our pre-wedding jitters, especially the day we were dropping off all of our things to the Surf Club for the reception, really got the best of us. For some reason we were so worried about placing our "props" in certain places. Sandro singlehandedly calmed our nerves instantly. He went through each and every item we had and guided us through where the best places for each of them would be. We felt a massive sense of relief and while we always knew we were in good hands, that truly solidified it. We left the rest up to them and boy, did they deliver!
The bridal attendants, wait staff, bartenders, maitre d, EVERYONE was phenomenal. Our guests were raving about the food, cocktails, everything all night and are still telling us that it was the best wedding they've ever been to.
Sandro and everyone, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the time of our lives. We will never forget your tireless efforts to make our day so special! -

Besides the obvious opulent ambiance of the venue, the staff is amazing. From the first tour to the tastings, our banquet manager Jamie made the process super enjoyable. On the big day, our maitre'd and the bridal attendant were so attentive and made the night flawless. My guests are still raving about the amazing food and the beautiful venue. Food Amazing, grounds beautiful, inside with the grand piano, gorgeous chandelier, beach view. This place have you feeling your outside of NY!!

We fell in love with this place the minute we walked through the front doors. We were treated like king and queen. Jamie was beyond gracious and helpful along the way. He gave us everything we wanted for our wedding.

If glitz and glamour is your thing, then this is your place. As soon as you drive in you see a fountain lined driveway. The entry way is adorned with a grand staircase, piano, and chandelier. The manager Rick was very patient and took his time showing us the entire venue. I only wish they had more options for the sit down dinner, but other than that this venue is amazing. -

Although we could have used a bit more hand-holding throughout the process (if you've never thrown an event like this, you need to be very proactive in asking questions), when we did ask questions the people at the Surf Club were extremely responsive and helpful. If you want to do anything unusual or different, don't hesitate to ask them if they can make it happen.
When it comes to the day itself, they have a bridal attendant who is always around to help with all the little issues that come up in the moment and a maitre d' who makes sure that the event runs effortlessly. There are people around to help with the guest-wrangling, and the venue is spacious and beautiful. They can adjust the lighting in the ballrooms easily to fit whatever ambiance you are going for, and nothing beats the view of the water off the balcony upstairs. If you want something to change just speak up and they are very happy to accommodate, or explain why you might want it a certain way. All of the staff seemed very knowledgeable and experienced. We were hoping to have an outdoor ceremony, but it rained and the indoor space was lovely too. I would recommend at least visiting the venue--it is a beautiful location and our guests have been raving ever since the big day!
