Everything was perfect!
My husband and I were very pleased with our cake. It looked beautiful and just like the picture I sent. It tasted amazing. We honestly have zero complaints or issues. As far as I know, everything arrived on time as well. My wedding planner took care of everything on the day of our wedding and I don't believe there was ever an issue with the cake. I also think the cake was of great value for us. Our budget was around $500 for a cake and that's right about what we paid. We had gotten quotes from other bakers for the same cake that came in way higher than what we were willing to pay. I also liked the option of paying in cash to get a free stand rental and the anniversary cake. So, overall we were very happy with everything!

The Best Cake Shop in Columbus!
We'd been using the Suisse Shop for special occasion cakes for years now and thought it was a complete no brainer to use them for our most special occasion. They offered tastings of several different flavors of both cake and filling and coached us through the entire process to ensure we were incredibly happy. Additionally, they offered dozens of examples of prior cakes to give us a good idea of what we were looking for. The Suisse Shop also offered creative ways to allow us to save money while also having a beautiful cake to share with our guests. It was both beautiful and the reviews were out of the park about the quality. Will definitely continue to use them for special occasions.

Call me a little obsessed but our cake from The Suisse Shop was perfection. After doing a few tastings (during the pandemic) we were really underwhelmed by some other cake places in Cbus. Some of the tastings that we took home from other places were not even fresh. Then we decided to try the Suisse Shop because they have my all time favorite butter cream sugar cookies. It was the best tasting experience we had. It was super easy to order the cake and it arrived on time the day of our wedding. When I saw it my heart leaped. It was everything and more. I just knew the day was going to be fantastic. Even better, it ended up being super reasonable on cost too. Thanks, Krista!!!

We received so many compliments about how delicious our cake was all night! When deciding which bakery to book, we did tastings with a few different places. The icing on top of a perfect day!
Krista was very easy to work with and our cake turned out exactly how we wanted! She gave great advice as far as the coloring of icing. The design was simple and elegant. I had so many compliments on the cake flavor and design. Many people commented that the icing was the best they ever had. I am glad we went with a higher amount, because all the cake was gone by the end of the night! Due to Covid, we did an at home cake tasting. They had a lot of sampling options and everything bagged up for simple transport and set up. I would highly recommend!

Simply delicious
Let me just say that the cake was delicious. We had so many compliments. The delivery was perfect and on time. The cakes were beautiful and we didn’t even need the touch up frosting, but I was so happy to have it just in case. The cupcakes were lovely and we had about a dozen leftover to send home with the bride and groom.
Although the cupcakes were a little pricey, the expense was worth the convenience of getting cake for the entire group quickly and easily, and also complied with the hotel safety restrictions. The rosette frosting on the cupcakes was generous and lovely.
Thank you so much for helping make this special day for my daughter even sweeter!

So many comments about our wedding cake!
I'm so glad we went with The Suisse Shop for our wedding cake! The tasting experience was really fun and well organized, and we got so many comments about our wedding cake from our guests! Something we heard alot about was avoiding dry cake--The Suisse Shop cake was NOT dry at ALL, but very delicious! I love that instead of having to save the top tier of our wedding cake, The Suisse Shop offers you a free cake they make fresh on your 1st anniversary. That was a huge selling point for us as well. They were accomodating about our wedding cake vision, did a great job with the execution, and were very responsive leading up to the big day. If you get a chance, try their Bourbon Fruit Cake for the holidays too, it's awesome! We will definetely be recommending them to friends of ours, it was the best!

Great Cake-Promised & Delivered
Our wedding cake was a hit! Thank you for delivering on time and as promised. Visually the cake appeared as discussed and sketched. My guests loved the flavors we picked and mentioned the cake was "sweet" and "tore my mouth out!" During our cake cutting and enjoying the moment, we loved every bite. We did have a few slices left over, so thank you for the provided box. Sadly, we never had the chance to eat a full slice of each layer. We are already looking forward to the free anniversary cake. Looking back at the photographs from guests and our photographer, I like the silver cake plate provided and what a subtle way to promote your business around the edge. Due to Covid, I was really nervous about being able to still have my event after all the planning and preparation. I wish that instead of having to call to make sure things were still on, your business could have reached out to reassure. However, that is so minor and due to the time, understandable. I would definitely recommend anyone to get a cake (not just future couples)! We will be back. These pictures are not owned by a photographer.

Throughout our wedding planning process, the Suisse Shop was very prompt in responding to our questions and very professional. Krista did a great job explaining our options. We tried some cupcakes to sample the flavors (as we had a small wedding with fewer than 40 guests). We settled on the almond cake with raspberry filling and the red velvet with French buttercream for our two flavors. The cake was beautifully decorated to our specifications, it was moist, and it was very flavorful. Our guests raved about how good it was, and many had second servings. My husband and I had a great experience working with the Suisse Shop for our wedding! We opted to do a small 3-tier cake along with cupcakes, lemon bars, pecan bars, and cupcakes to create a great spread of desserts. The spread was beautiful and our guests LOVED the desserts. By the end of the night, the table was almost empty and our cake was completely gone! It was all so delicious. The Suisse Shop did it again! They made such a beautiful cake at my sister's wedding about a year ago, and hit it out of the park again for my wedding! I can't thank them enough for the entire process. The cake tasting was fun and it was very good. It was hard to choose the different flavors for each layer of our wedding cake. Love Suisse Shop!
When we were planning our wedding we did tastings at two different bakeries, the Suisse Shop and another. Hands down our experience with the tasting at Suisse Shop was superior! Not only was the cake more delicious with more unique flavors, but being able to try the various combinations in one sitting was awesome. We went with half almond cake with apricot filling and half lemon cake with mango filling, and both were light and delicious, and our guests loved them! Of course the cake was also beautiful :) They worked with us and our florist to place the flowers on the cake for us. We would recommend Suisse Shop for wedding cakes in Columbus over and over!

Everything was Perfect!
Everything was absolutely perfect! They were great to work with! Our cake turned our beautiful and tasted great! The desserts were so cute and everyone loved them (we didn’t get a chance to try them since the night went so fast). We were extremely happy we went with them for our big day!

Perfection!
Our wedding cake was gorgeous and DELICIOUS! I had guests tell us it was the best wedding cake they’ve ever had. Every flavor was spot on and the icing was perfect. It was decorated beautifully and my husband and I had a lot of fun smushing it into each other’s faces when we cut the cake! 😆 I cannot thank the Suisse Shop enough for how wonderful it turned out!! We ordered a larger cake than we really needed, but it didn’t last long. We loved eating it again later that night, and the next day, and the next! Haha. Thanks again!!! :)

Converted cake haters!
We absolutely LOVED the cake and so did our guests! Everyone that I talked to raved about the cake and asked me what the flavors were and where we got it. I even had a friend who was there that is a notorious cake hater saying they all taste the same, but his wife forced him to try some and he thought it was amazing! So you have officially converted him to your cakes! The cake was beautiful looking as well and everything was exactly what we wanted. The only thing we would have done different is order more chocolate with peanut butter because it disappeared instantly after cutting. We are already counting down the days to our one year anniversary just to get our anniversary cake, haha!

Only bakery we will ever go to!
We used The Suisse Shop for our wedding and were thrilled with everything! Their cake and frosting is second to none. We don't go anywhere else now for birthday cakes or cupcakes. Heck, we will just buy a cake when we have the craving! Not only did our cake taste sinfully amazing, but it looked fabulous as well. We had so many compliments on the decor of our cake. Everything turned out just the way we had discussed. When I wanted to make a change just a couple weeks before the wedding, they did so happily. They want to make sure their customers are happy. My husband and I are definitely happy!

Our wedding cake from the Suisse Shop was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! The Suisse Shop has a proven track record for making delicious desserts and they stay true to their recipes. I first tasted one of their cakes as a child and loved it so much that when I got engaged over 20 years later, I knew exactly what company I wanted for my wedding cake! Our experience from beginning to end was professional, timely, and friendly. All of our guests raved about our cake! I would recommend the Suisse Shop to anyone looking for a superb experience and beautiful memories!

Our wedding cake was absolutely the best cake we have ever eaten! We had many of our guests tell us that they ate more than one slice and enjoyed every bite! I would definitely recommend Suisse Shop to ANYONE! Our entire experience with them was awesome! The design of cake turned out beautifully, we both loved it! We got so many comments on it from the guests at our wedding as well. Not only was it beautiful, but it tasted amazing. So many people at the wedding and the following day told us how much they loved the cake. We thank the Suisse Shop and Krista for creating such a beautiful cake for our big day! It was soooo pretty!!! The entire table looked fabulous! I believe the first thing I said after cutting the cake and smearing some in My husband’s face was, “This is sooooo good”. ((((that frosting though…))) mmmmmmm….

I've been going to The Suisse Shop for years and knew when I got married they had to do my wedding cake. Their cake is amazing (the only cake I like) and they did a beautiful job with our wedding cake! We got numerous compliments on the taste and appearance of our cake. They were very professional to work with and the cake tasting was so much fun getting to try different cakes and figure out what we wanted. They made it just how we wanted it. We would recommend The Suisse Shop to any couple looking for a wedding cake!

Five stars and I don’t say that lightly. This is some of the best cake I’ve ever had. Went in for a tasting with my mom for my wedding cake and the frosting on everything was to die for. We ended up getting their Red Velvet and Almond layers and they were perfect. They placed the flowers I provided just beautifully and were very helpful in the transportation process, too. I highly recommend The Suisse Shop. They’re truly 5 Star.

We have always gone with the Suisse Shop for every cake we have ever needed, but our wedding cake was OUT OF THIS WORLD! We had a guest count of 200, and ordered 280 servings, we only had a few left. The wedding cake was perfect we loved it. I hate sweets especially cake but I loved that cake it was great. The detail was dead on to the pictures we gave them to go off of. Delivery was on time and they are very good at recommendations to your cake like we had yellow cake with French buttercream which is more off white in color so they recommended us using a white dye to make the cake look white to match our design they know their stuff and we're amazing.

We had our wedding cake made here and they did an absolutely wonderful job. From the beginning decision making process to the tasting and the actual wedding day when the cake was delivered we were very impressed! The cake not only looked amazing but tasted so good. When I first started my wedding planning I planned on making the cake/desserts myself in order to cut costs. Then my grandma talked me into having a cake made to save time instead. I first tasted cake from the Suisse Shop at a friends wedding and FELL IN LOVE. I knew from the first bite I had to have that cake at my wedding too. The cake was absolutely delicious and the price wasn’t bad at all. I definitely recommend them for any goodies you might like. They’re cookies and cupcakes are just as amazing. I also rented a beautiful cake stand from them as well.

OH MY GOSH the cake was AMAZING. It was beautiful and so good, my guests are STILL talking about it - matter of fact last night my mother texted me and said "I want some more wedding cake" :) :) :) I cannot say enough good things!! I actually don't like cake :) It's really the frosting I have issues with - BUT - yours I loved. You've made me a cake convert!!! I had a coordinator so I don't know about the delivery or the timing, etc. but I do know that it was there when I got there and it was perfect! Just like my picture and delicious!!!!

Our wedding cake was absolutely fabulous! Not only was it gorgeous, but also delicious. Absolutely everyone we talked to said they loved it. We really appreciated the guidance your staff offered when it came to choosing sizes and flavors. You really know your stuff and take the role of leaders guiding your clients through the process in a way that invited us to make informed and creative choices. The process was simple and seamless without a lot of excess back and forth as far as pick up and delivery times.

Everyone has that one thing at their wedding that is most important to them, ours was cake. We could not have picked a better bakery. We ordered a miniature cake for each guest and I think I have heard how amazing the cake was from each and every guest. I have had multiple people texting or calling as they plan their wedding, asking me where we got our cake from. Service was a breeze. We had a wonderful experience working with the Suisse Shop (specifically Lisa) for our wedding. We were able to try many different cake options during a tasting, and Lisa was extremely helpful at working with us regarding the design and color of the cake. We had 8 different cake tastings and found the Suisse shop to be our favorite tasting cake, as well as our favorite cake decorator. I wanted simple horizontal, perfectly symmetrical lines for our wedding cake, and the Suisse shop has a tool used to make sure everything is perfect and clean looking. I also love that they give you a free anniversary cake on your one year anniversary, so we didn't have to freeze a top tier of our cake and eat old, frozen cake in a year. Our guests raved of the taste of our wedding cake, and it looked flawless! They decorated our cake with our wedding flowers and it was perfect. We would highly recommend using the Suisse shop for any occasion, and look forward to going back in the future for our cake needs.

We had the Suisse Shop make our wedding cake and it was perfect! It was a 4-tier cake with a stucco pattern in the buttercream, and they beautifully placed flowers from our florist, kind of like a waterfall flowing down the cake. They also were able to deliver the cake in perfect condition to our reception space, which was an hour + away from the bakery. The flavors we chose were white chocolate cake with raspberry filling, and almond cake with apricot filling. Everyone LOVED the cake and I know many people ate multiple pieces (myself included). The Suisse Shop was incredibly easy to work with, very professional, and they made us a cake that was better than we had imagined up in our consultation. We would highly recommend this bakery!

Our cake was absolutely incredible. I usually get worried with cakes like that; that they may taste dry after sitting out during the ceremony, but this cake remained moist throughout and was perfect. Each layer tasted wonderful, and the cupcakes that went with it were so delicious. Thank you so much for your work on the cakes and for helping to make our day so wonderful. If you want an amazingly delicious cake that will impress all of your guests with it's beauty (and taste) pick the Suisse Shop! Our cake was one of the biggest highlights of our wedding! They are able to create ANYTHING you want (seriously!) We love the suisse shop! We had a 3 tier cake and 6 dozen cupcakes! We worked closely with the owner to get a simple and elegant design for our cake with cascading orchids. The suisse shop was able to to create what we wanted and it was beautiful and delicious!

When beginning to look for different bakeries for a cake for the wedding, I stopped after we tasted cake from The Suisse Shop. The cake is delicious and the icing melts in your mouth-my guests couldn't stop raving about how wonderful it was. Lisa was fantastic to work with and made everything run smoothly. I never felt pressured about any decisions and she genuinely wanted to make sure we got what we wanted. I highly recommend The Suisse Shop to anyone looking for a bakery. Looking forward to the free anniversary cake in a year!

We absolutely loved our cake! The presentation was phenomenal. We received many compliments on how classic, elegant, and beautiful it was! Not to mention the taste! The cake was so flavorful but in a subtle way and the perfect combination of moist as well as light. The icing had great flavor as well and was perfectly portioned to not be overwhelming to the cake. Our family and bridal party enjoyed getting to share in it with us! We are looking forward to trying more of your fantastic creations and highly recommend you to all our friends! We are especially looking forward to our Anniversary cake :) Transport the cake was very easy and we appreciated the advice as well as the grip pad provided to allow us to safely get our cake to the venue!

When you think of THE BEST cake in Columbus, Ohio you think of The Suisse Shop. We had a three tier cake, each tier being a different flavor. And we still can't decide which flavor we liked better. We chose a design that was completely buttercream and it came out outstanding! Better yet, I am not fond of cake, however, The Suisse Shop surly made me a cake lover. The cake was delicious, beautiful, and still talked about! I would highly recommend The Suisse Shop!

We couldn't give enough praise to The Suisse Shop. Not only was the cake beautiful but everyone couldn't rave enough about the taste. I know anytime we or any of our family have a major event this is where our cakes will be coming from. Everyone was so friendly and worked really hard to make us the cake of our dreams. The cake and cupcakes were so good! I wish our family could have tried to cake but our caterer failed to do her job and actually cut the cake tiers and pass them out to our family. We ended up with a lot of left over cake because of it, but that's okay because it was so good! Our guests loved the cupcakes and everyone had wonderful things to say about them. There is not a single thing negative I could say! We left for our honeymoon a week after our wedding and put the left over cake in the freezer and then ate it again when we got back from our honeymoon and it still tasted good two weeks later. We would definitely recommended the Suisse Shope to everyone!

They did an amazing job on our cake and cupcakes. We loved the delivery driver! Lisa made our experience super. Our cake tasting is my favorite memory of wedding planning together. Highly recommend them. All the cake is amazing! We got a 2 tier cake and 150 cupcakes.

Our wedding cake was fantastic! Everyone loved it and it fit our theme perfectly. It was EXACTLY what I had envisioned. The cake tasting was great, and everyone at the shop was east to work with. Our cake was well worth the investment. We can't wait to taste it again next year :)

We have nothing but positive things to say! Most people said it was the best wedding cake they ever had. We only had about 3 pieces left of our wedding cake and a couple cupcakes. Everything else was gone! We had enough for 150 people and had about 100 guests so that should say something. We ate everything the next day for breakfast. I think you guys are worth every penny.

The Suisse Shop provided two cakes for our wedding at North Bank Pavillion on 9/16/16. From the first meeting/cake testing to the actual wedding day they were punctual, professional and extremely kind. The cakes were stunningly beautiful and everyone commented on how moist and delicious they were. After the cake testing, our niece promptly requested her birthday cake be order from the Suisse Shop as well so I guess we'll be calling them come December!!

The Suisse Shop did our wedding cake and grooms cake. Both were delicious and looked fantastic. My fiancé loved their almond cake and I loved their lemon cake, but all the flavors were delicious it was hard to choose. Our wedding cake ended up being three layers of almond cake with raspberry and French buttercream; lemon cake with lemon buttercream; and chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream; French buttercream on the outside. Our guests raved about how good the cake tasted. Not only was out cakes delicious they were also beautiful looking. We loved everything about our experience here. The Suisse Shop was 5 stars all around and we would definitely recommend them for any cake needs.

AMAZING! The flavor of the raspberry filling was unbelievable - we actually had guests trying to scoop up seconds from other guests. We picked up the cake (it was smaller) and had no problems. It looked beautiful just like we ordered. I've already told my wife I want my birthday cake from here.

With my now husband we always used to get cupcakes from The Suisse Shop because we absolutely love everything they have. So when we got engaged we were 100% sure that our cake had to be from there. We couldn't be more right, the cake was delicious as we knew it would be and it was absolutely beautiful. We had half of the pieces as regular chocolate with cream cheese frosting and half as white chocolate with white chocolate frosting. Everyone loved the cake and the decoration, I brought flowers the day before and they did a perfect work. What is best, even though we froze some cake because I was not able to eat it at the reception and we left for our honeymoon the next day, we didn't had to because we'll get also a small cake for our 1 year anniversary. Amazing service!

This is the 3rd time my family has used the Suisse Shop for a wedding cake; each for my 2 sisters (2012, 2014), and this past time for my own wedding cake (July 2016). We kept returning because our experience, beauty of the cakes, and most importantly, the wonderful taste of the cakes! We received SO MANY compliments on how great our cake tasted. At the cake tasting, all of their flavors were so good, so it was tough to narrow it down because you can't go wrong with any combination! I went with the white chocolate cake with raspberry filing, and french buttercream. YUM! Our cake was so delicate and lightly sweet -- perfect for our summer wedding! It honestly seemed like every guest of ours ate their piece of cake because we barely had any leftovers to take home, even though we ordered slices for 15+ people over headcount. I know a few of our guests went back for 2nd's and 3rd's!
I would highly recommend to any bride looking for a cake vendor! Lisa was easy to communicate with either in person, over the phone, or via email. I emailed them photos of my cake inspiration, and they matched it! We also used/rented one of their beautiful cake stands which is $35 if you pay via credit card, or free if you pay via cash or check! You just need to return within a few days after your wedding, which is a good deal!

Let me start with I'm not really a cake or cupcake person. That being said, I would eat anything the Suisse Shop has to offer. Everything we tasted was so delicious. And everything looks as beautiful as it tastes.
The Suisse Shop was the first place my husband decided to try. We had a tasting with Lisa which was a lot of fun. She stepped out for a moment during it and we asked each other if we even needed to bother going anywhere else. It was so good, we decided to book on the spot. We didn't even go to any other shops and we couldn't be happier with our decision.

The Suisse Shop was an easy choice for us! Everything was PERFECT from our cake tasting up through our wedding night. I'm not a huge cake fan but I struggled to choose the flavors for our cake because they were ALL delicious. We ended choosing a 5-tier cake with 3 flavors (try the raspberry marmalade!!!!!) and we couldn't have chosen any better. The entire cake was GONE. We had to-go boxes (consider doing it, you do not want this cake going to waste) and I saw people piling up their boxes to take cake home. Weeks after and people are still asking me about the cake and where it came from. With it being so close, we will be forever clients! Thank you Suisse Shop for mimicking our Pinterest cake so remarkably! Everything was phenomenal! Choose Suisse Shop =)

The Suisse Shop is one of my favorite bakeries in Columbus! Nothing beats your french almond and raspberry… all it does is set up for disappointment when I get french almond somewhere else! The lemon was a close second as well! People were definitely swooning over the chocolate and peanut butter! I am pretty sure people asked for seconds and I saw some people finishing off any evidence of crumbs left behind on strangers plates! Besides the cake tasting wonderful, it looked beautiful and I appreciate you calling and double, triple checking the colors and details of the cake! We were so happy with the results! There was not much in the way of left overs! Thank you again for all your help and amazing work for our special day!

The cupcakes were delicious! All my guests loved the cupcakes too! They were everything we hoped and so much more. Even more, they were definitely a part in making our wedding a memorable event. All of their staff was very kind and accommodating. If there was any trouble or issues, I did not notice. The cupcakes were delivered on time, along with the cupcake stand and set up in a timely manner. I know that the morning of my wedding, we realized that no one had dropped off the flowers to decorate our 6 inch round. My cousin and their staff ended up solving the problem and taking care of everything. Overall, we had a great experience working with Suisse Shop and definitely plan on using their services again in the future.
