Nice touch our cocktail hour

We hired the jazz quartet for our cocktail hour. It was fantastic choice. The group was professional were all fantastic musicians.

Excellent!

The String Brothers was phenomenal to work with! Not only were they very responsive during the entire planning process but the pieces they played during our ceremony and cocktail hour were beautiful. For our ceremony, we chose several non traditional pieces and they were very accommodating with our requests. Our guests complimented the string quartet and jazz duo numerous times. We would highly recommended The String Brothers!!

The easiest decision for your wedding

Wow. It is extremely hard to write a review that encompasses everything about The String Brothers. They were phenomenal--- not only did they sound incredible but they were amazing to work with.
Leading up to the wedding they were sooo easy to work with. They are the most organized and responsive group. All responses were within 24 hours. They made the decisions so easy- they provided samples of their music and a list of songs. I knew I wanted traditional string music for the processional etc, then I wanted something really catchy for our exit. They completely delivered. The samples on their site and suggestions made it so seamless and easy to pick out our songs. I wanted something upbeat to exit to so I picked out 2 songs. When I spoke with Jim from String Brothers prior to our wedding he guided me through which song would be best with the instruments I picked.
Leading up to the wedding they made it so easy- I completed a quick and easy packet with my choices (based on listening to their wonderful samples) then had a conversation with Jim prior to the wedding based on what I selected.
The String Brothers were on time, organized, and professional which every bride wants.

Oh and the music sounded incredible!!! Thank you String Brothers for kicking off our ceremony and reception! you made it perfect!

I cannot say enough about The String Brothers. Jim was amazing to work with!!! They all did an amazing job at my wedding!! The string quartet for the ceremony was amazing and the jazz trio for cocktail hour was wonderful as well. Cannot say enough about how amazing My .experience was. I highly recommend them .

Wedding at the Curtiss Hotel

My oldest daughter had her wedding this past Friday at the Curtiss Hotel in downtown Buffalo. We had contacted The String Brothers to play music for the ceremony and the cocktail hour immediately following. We had one gentlemen playing the violin and one on the piano. They were amazing. Tons of compliments. Would highly recommend this group.

PERFECT! Absolutely wonderful company to work with (easy with communication, highly responsive, professional, fair price) and so pleased with their performance for our wedding ceremony. A string trio played for our Catholic mass and were able to do a mix of the traditional songs along with a few more contemporary choices my husband and I had selected. I am not much for crying - but their music had tears coming as I walked down the aisle with my father. Highly recommend! Thank you for everything String Brothers!

The String Brothers were the perfect touch for our wedding ceremony. We hired a string trio to play a mix of traditional and unorthodox songs before and through our outdoor ceremony. Although my wife and I didn't get to hear everything they played beforehand, several of our guests remarked that it was the nicest wedding music they had ever heard. We especially appreciated their flexibility in learning two songs outside their catalog (including one Broadway song we had never heard a string arrangement of!) and playing them masterfully. Kevin also helped us to source a microphone and amplifier for our officiant and our vows. I would highly recommend these guys for a wedding or any similar event!

From the initial music consultation requesting a violinist for daughter's wedding at Delaware Park Rose Garden to my last minute request for a microphone.... the ease of working with String Bros. and Kevin was fabulous! Economical and the violinist was extremely talented and well prepared playing our selections as designated and perfectly! Arrived early and was all set up ready to go! ... one less thing to worry about
The music added an elegant touch to an already beautiful wedding.

We had a string trio at our wedding in Buffalo back in September. Kevin was very responsive throughout the whole process and provided recommendations when I had questions. Our guests truly enjoyed the string trio at the wedding. I would recommend The String Brothers if you're looking for musicians for your wedding!

String Brothers made our ceremony very special! Kevin walked us through every step in the process. We chose songs that they had to learn for our processional and recessional and they sounded absolutely perfect that day. My only regret is as the bride I couldn't listen for as long as I wanted to! I highly recommend them for your wedding or any other event!

We had a solo violinist perform the music for our ceremony. He arrived early, was very professional and the music was exceptional. The pastor, event coordinator, and violinist were able to coordinate the morning of the ceremony to make sure that everyone was on the same page for the flow of the wedding. I highly recommend String Brothers for your ceremony!

Kevin and the String Brothers were great. The communication was great, I always got a quick response. I really liked that we were able to choose two songs that were outside of their library with no extra cost. The music was beautiful and the quartet was extremely professional!

We booked one violinist for our ceremony music. I communicated via email with Kevin to ensure everything was just as I wanted. He helped me pick the music and finalize the times. On our wedding day, our musician was great. It added a wonderful touch to our outdoor ceremony!

We booked a string trio for wedding ceremony (violin, viola, and cello) and they did a beautiful job! They played light music while guests arrived and were seated, and the intro and "outro" songs for our bridal party. The musicians were professional and sounded perfect. We were very happy with the service we received, the price was reasonable, and it was a nice touch to have live string music played at our ceremony. We worked with Kevin, one of the owners, throughout our planning process and he was very responsive and helpful. We would definitely recommend them! : )

I highly recommend the String Brothers. We engaged them for classical music before/after the ceremony and jazzy music during dinner. Kevin was extremely prompt and professional and he made the planning quick and easy. I especially appreciated how flexible they were on the day of the wedding - they really took care of themselves and we didn't have to worry about anything.

We had a String Brothers cello and violin play at our wedding ceremony and they were phenomenal! They sounded great and I got many comments from guests about how beautiful the music was. Kevin was extremely helpful when booking and choosing instruments and music. He answered all my questions and gave me suggestions on what types of instruments to choose if I only wanted two people. The price was one of the best I found in WNY. They have a wide range of songs they can play and they will learn two new songs for no extra cost. I am so glad we went with String Brothers. I was highly satisfied with the whole experience!

The String Brothers performed during our wedding ceremony (organ), cocktail hour and part of the reception (jazz quartet). My Mother and I worked closely with Kevin O'Brien (owner and manager) throughout the entire planning process -- he was responsive and always eager to answer our questions. And trust me, we had many questions!

We were so pleased with the wedding music. The musicians were extremely talented, and the music truly took our wedding to the next level. Our wedding was a few weeks ago, but we continue to receive several compliments from our guests about the music.

I highly recommend the String Brothers and would welcome the opportunity to work with them again!

Just wanted to drop you a line and thank you for the outstanding music you played at the Cocktail hour and Dinner for my daughter and son-in-law's wedding at Statler City on June 25, 2016. The music was absolutely perfect, between the choice of songs and the sound quality, it was exactly what we wanted. People were able to talk while enjoying the music. Obviously, you are truly the professional.
We were so pleased with the organist at the Church. The music was beautiful. He set the mood and created the perfect ceremonial and solemn atmosphere needed for the service.
You have a fan in us and we will let others know that as well. ??

We had the String Brothers play at our outdoor wedding ceremony. The music was beautiful, and we as well as the guests enjoyed it. We had a violin/keyboard combo and it was perfect for the outdoor garden setting. They played the songs I requested with no problem and it really made the process easier. We had a violin and cello duet for our wedding on 6/24/16 at Samuel's Grande Manor. The String Brothers really added a special elegance to our small ceremony. Without having been to our dress rehearsal, they automatically knew the times to start playing music, for example the lighting of our memorial candles. I am so glad to have had them there. I recently hired String Brothers to play at my wedding ceremony and cocktail hour. They were fantastic to work with leading up to my event and definitely added a special touch to my wedding! I knew I wanted beautiful music for my wedding but i knew absolutely nothing about classical music. String Brothers were recommended to me by a friend and they were amazing! They helped me pick out music and explained different instruments to me so I could have exactly what I wanted. The musicians were professional, looked and sounded great, and made my ceremony so enjoyable for the guests!

We used The String Brothers for our August 1st wedding at the Karpeles Manuscript Library Museum. From start to finish we couldn't have been happier with Kevin and his musicians. Many of our guests said this was one of the best ceremonies they had been to and that the music was a huge part of that. Kevin's professionalism and responsiveness helped me to feel stress-free on the wedding day. I felt that I could completely trust him to make sure everything went as it should. He was extremely accommodating when we had some special requests during our unity candle ceremony and the musicians helped make the moment truly special for us. Their talents were clearly evident as all of the music was truly beautiful!!!! We would highly recommend their services to anyone!

The string brothers made an excellent addition to our wedding day line up. We had them there during our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour. We met with Kevin when we decided to have live music during the wedding and we talked about what type of music we envisioned and the instruments we like to hear. We ended up having a violin, base and keyboard, such a lovely combination. They allowed us to pick a few of our own songs for the musicians to learn along with our own selections during the ceremony. I think it added something special to the ceremony. Kevin and the other musicians are very professional and I would recommend them to my own family and friends. Thanks string brothers!

Fisher-Price hired the String Brothers to play at a corporate event at Knox Farm. They were very professional and friendly and the music was fabulous! Great addition to our event.

Kevin was very pleasant to work with in arranging the event and very helpful in choosing the correct music and instruments for our event crowd.

String Brothers not only provided the beautiful soundtrack to our wedding day, but they were so helpful throughout the lead up to the day, answering all my questions clearly and quickly--which was especially important because I live in the United Kingdom. I don't even know where to begin. Our wedding ceremony was more perfect than I could have ever imagined. As the bride, I only heard a few of the songs since I was farther away before I walked out, the music I heard was simply breathtaking. It was absolutely everything I could have envisioned and more. The sounds were so beautiful I still get chills thinking about it. The absolutely best decision I made about the music for the ceremony was going with The String Brothers. They are by far the absolute best in the area and I will never be able to thank them enough. The musicians were amazing, so kind, talented and made the most important day, for the beginning of our lives together, absolutely perfect. All of our guests were talking non stop about your music and how absolutely beautiful it was at the ceremony and leading in to the reception. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for being a part of our day. You were so easy and wonderful to work with. My walk down the aisle was perfect because of The String Brothers. I hope to be able to use you again in the future. I will highly recommend your musicians for anything. Kevin at the String Brothers was amazing!! They were so responsive and professional. Emails were returned within the hour, and they helped me through the planning process for my ceremony. From the very beginning, they let us piece together our ceremony, and even learned songs for my event! The guitarist and pianist were prompt and so very cordial. I would recommend them in a heart beat. I had no worries whatsoever on my wedding day that my music would be perfect.

String Brothers were absolutely amazing for my wedding! I had no music set for them to play and told them to just do what they wanted and surprise us. I was concerned about volume because we were married at Niagara Falls right on the water, but the sound carried so perfectly. We were mobbed with guests after the ceremony and could only wave at them quickly, but they looked super handsome too! The pricing was more than reasonable, I would absolutely recommend them to anyone!

We used a String Brothers Duet (violin & cello) for our very small wedding on 6/20/14. We couldn't be happier!! The musicians themselves were nothing shy of professional, courteous and talented. I did not have to worry about following up a bunch of times, they arrived on time, set themselves up with ease and played the perfect parts of all the songs we requested! Kevin, the owner, is to be commended for how easy he made this for us- we started feeling overwhelmed by music choices and he walked us through the process and with only a couple emails we had it all figured out! His responses are prompt, detailed and very kind. Overall, they did a fantastic job and helped our day come together just as we had hoped!

The String Brothers were wonderful to work with. I had two professional musicians as part of my wedding party who stated that their musical was perfectly in key and sounded wonderful. All of our guests enjoyed the ceremony music!

If you want class and talent to augment your wedding, be it at the church or the reception, you must talk to these fine folks. Our wedding was first class by all responses because of our desire to do it right. It all started with the String Brothers. Both the ceremony and the reception were perfect, and this company had more than a lot to do with it!

I had The String Brothers play at my wedding ceremony and reception. They were exceptional at both! I had specific song requests for my ceremony and they were very accommodating. The music turned out just as I had imagined and guests mentioned how much they enjoyed it throughout the night. The String Brothers played at my wedding this September and I can't even begin to say how pleased I am with their performance! I had a violinist and keyboarder play for my ceremony, and the music was absolutely beautiful, exactly what I had envisioned. They were there on time, always answered any questions I had, and played each piece I had asked them to without fault. We had a last minute request about a month before the ceremony, and even though their paperwork had asked to please give at least two months notice for any unusual pieces to perform they had no problem accommodating us. I would highly recommend hiring The String Brothers for any occasion, thank you so much for making my day that much more memorable!

We had the String Brothers play during our outdoor wedding ceremony at Toad Hill Tree Farm and they were great! We had a violin and cello player which was the perfect combination for the 125 guest ceremony. The instruments were loud and clear enough that we did not need an speaker system. Their music selection is great and they provided a very detailed information packet that made picking out ceremony music very easy. They also responded promptly to emails. I would highly recommend them to play at any wedding or event.

Great musicians!

The String Brothers did a great job with our wedding! We got a string trio and they sounded beautiful and got plenty of compliments from our guests. They always promptly responded to any questions we had about timing or music. A great choice!

I contacted the String Brothers in regards to providing a cellist and a pianist for my wedding ceremony and they were very quick to respond! After booking, they provided me with a list of what music selections I needed to make and recommendations for all parts of the ceremony. This was incredibly helpful and appreciated! After making my selections, the rest was in their hands! I provided them with the venue location and start time, and that was it! The musicians were there on time, set up themselves, and knew exactly what to do and where to be! It was fantastic to not even have to think about any of the details - they had it covered! My guests are still raving about the music (even the deacon did as well!)

I would have given all 5's, but only 2 out of the 3 strings showed up at my ceremony. This could have been a disaster if they were the only musicians, but we also had a vocalist and an organ player to fill in the gaps. Luckily, the two strings still sounded beautiful, but very disappointing when we paid for a trio. Other than that, Kevin was very easy to work with, very helpful in choosing the music, and he refunded us for the missing musician.

Terrible experience- played the wrong ceremony music! We had filled out a form months before the wedding & went over the music choice before the ceremony began - still got it wrong! Very unprofessional- in my opinion.

I chose this vendor to provide excellent service and special music for my wedding but instead the musicians did not stay to perform at my ceremony. The wedding was not late. It was an outside wedding but had to be moved inside due to rain. Musicians did not play at the ceremony. Guest from wedding stated that musicians came inside where ceremony was and did not play or setup at all. Therefore this was going to be a wedding without music but thankfully it was saved by dj for reception coming early and being able to play the songs I had asked for musicians to play. I have tried to contact Kevin o brien via phone and email and have not received a response back. I will never recommend this company to any one for their special day. A partial refund would have even been acceptable but no contact and no refund at all for service not provided is completely unacceptable. $395.00. Total.
