We honestly don’t even know where to begin—our wedding day was everything we dreamed of and more, and so much of that is thanks to this incredible venue and the amazing team behind it. From the moment we first visited, we knew we were in the right place. It wasn’t just the beauty of the space (though it is stunning), it was the warmth, care, and attention we felt from everyone involved. We were never just another couple getting married—they made us feel genuinely cared for every step of the way.
From the very beginning, the team made us feel like we were in the best possible hands. Tom, Lisa and Tony were with us every step of the way during the planning process. They were quick to respond, endlessly patient, and incredibly thoughtful. They answered every single question (and Lord knows I sent a LOT of emails!), always making us feel heard, supported, and never like a burden. Whether it was coordinating with vendors, checking in on us, or managing the behind-the-scenes details, they handled everything with professionalism and genuine care. Their guidance helped shape our vision into something even better than we imagined.
On the big day, Tom was an absolute legend. He picked me up in style in his gorgeous vintage car to bring me and my parents to the church—a moment that felt like something straight out of a movie. He was with us the entire day, ensuring that every part of the schedule flowed perfectly. And as if that wasn’t enough, Tom stayed all the way to the very end of the night and even drove my husband and I back to the hotel in that same vintage car. It was such a thoughtful and unforgettable touch that made our day feel extra special.
The entire staff was phenomenal—friendly, attentive, and incredibly well-organized. You could tell they genuinely cared about creating an amazing experience for us and our guests. The food? Out of this world. From the elegant starters to the late-night snacks, everything was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. Our guests are still talking about it!
The reception space was stunning, styled to perfection, and full of warmth. Every detail was handled with care and intention, and the atmosphere was exactly what we had hoped for—joyful, romantic, and full of love.
If you’re looking for a venue where you’ll be treated like family, where the team goes above and beyond every step of the way—look no further. We’re so grateful for the entire team and wouldn’t change a single thing about our experience.

Best venue around
Words cannot express how amazing Tom and the whole team at the state room was. We had our wedding August 29th 2025 and it truly was the best day of our lives. Tom went above and beyond to make sure every detail was perfect and exactly the way we wanted. He honestly reminded me of my family the way we were treated. Tom was right there waiting for us to be transported to and from pictures and even helped me carry the train of my dress, and all throughout the night was there with whatever we needed. Also the food was absolutely delicious and nobody left hungry!!! Everyone raved about the food!!! He also walked us up to the hotel to make sure we got back safely. Everyone was so professional yet made me feel like I had known them for a while. I will always recommend the state room for any event or wedding!! -

This was the first venue we have explored, and it ended up being the one we chose, particularly because of how amazing and professional Tom and Lisa were when they introduced themselves to us. We could immediately tell that they loved what they do. So much so, that the owner himself would be the one making the sales pitch to us... And catering to all our needs the day of the wedding. Our experience was enhanced immensely from start to finish with these guys. Just meet them! They'll blow you away with their passion! Don't just take our word for it! Some say this venue is expensive, but we would argue that this is the biggest bang for your buck. Not only is their goal to make the whole planning process as stress free as possible, but a lot is included in the package (OPEN BAR, table cloths, napkins, runners, cake, etc.). The food is AMAZING!! For example, we chose to have the Filet Mignon as the beef option and they were the largest filets anybody has ever seen! We have received endless compliments on the wedding venue, food, staff, etc and we will continue to recommend them to anybody else getting married! Tom, Lisa, and the staff were extremely professional, courteous, and helpful. Lisa has also been amazing the night of to make sure everything stays on target according to schedule. Tom has also been extremely helpful with transportation, and being there from start to finish. As we said before, this was the first venue we looked at. We looked at 2 others, and were going to look at others, but we chose this one. It was one of the best decisions of our lives by a long shot. Thank you again, Tom and Lisa! There are so many good things we can say about our reception experience at The State Room. We couldn’t have asked for a more magical place to celebrate our wedding reception! From start to finish, the experience at The State Room was absolutely flawless. Tom, Lisa and Tony, as well as the rest of the staff were incredibly professional, attentive, and genuinely invested in making our day unforgettable.
The space itself is stunning—elegant, spacious, and beautifully maintained. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about the ambiance, the layout, and how smoothly everything flowed throughout the evening.
Choosing this venue was extra special for us because the bride actually had her junior prom here years ago—and had the best time then, too. It felt like everything came full circle, and the venue was just as fun and magical now as it was back then.
One of the biggest highlights was the food—it was absolutely amazing! There were so many delicious options to choose from, and everything was beautifully presented and full of flavor. The variety made it easy to accommodate all of our guests’ dietary needs, and people are still talking about how good everything was!
The planning process was seamless, thanks to the incredible coordination of Tom, Lisa and Tony, who guided us through every detail with patience and expertise. On the day of the event, everything ran smoothly—we didn’t have to worry about a thing.
If you’re looking for a venue that combines charm, professionalism, top-notch service, and exceptional food, look no further. The State Room helped make our special day everything we dreamed of and more. Highly, highly recommended! -

Where do I begin?! Tom, Tony and Lisa at The State Room are the absolute best of the best in the entire region, and I mean that with my entire heart. From the moment we toured the venue, they treated us as family and made every single desire we had come to life. Their prices are extremely fair and we couldn't believe what came included with our package — antique car service, endless hors d'oeuvres, champagne when guests arrived, basically a built-in wedding coordinator and so much more. Our guests raved about the food and lost count of how many delicious appetizers they had! They even made it possible for us to have a Pittsburgh cookie table (my hometown) and granted every wish we had.
Tom was with us from the moment we did our first look (even fluffing my dress when I needed it!) and until the end of the night to make sure we made it back to our hotel safely, and he truly made sure we had the wedding of our dreams. Their professionalism, organization and compassion truly made our day the best day of our lives. We walked away feeling like we gained new family members!! -

Our review is long overdue, but don’t let our delay stop you from picking The State Room. Tom, Lisa, and the staff treated us like family during the planning portion and like royalty the day of the wedding! We were very picky about the venue choice and The State Room exceeded all expectations. From the food, drinks, details, nothing went unnoticed by this team! We can't say enough about how amazing Tom and Lisa were to work with. Tom is an exceptional person and has a one in a million personality. We walked into our first meeting with a list of questions and concerns, and within the 20 minute conversation every thing had been answered without us having to ask a single one. They really have it all down to a science! He asked us how we pictured our special day (no matter how extravagant) and told us that he and his team would make it happen. We were a little skeptical at first, but we really liked talking with him, and decided to proceed. All we can say is WOW, did The State Room deliver on all accounts. From accommodating our meeting times to work with our hectic schedules to making adjustments to the food and bar when requested. We never felt like a burden to either Tom or Lisa, and believe me when I say I had a lot of requests haha. Tom must never sleep because he was always available to answer the phone or shoot an email back right away. Lisa was a machine, and she really made the day run by so smooth. we had a large bridal party with a lot of strong personalities and she was able to pull everyone together to make it all run seamlessly. We took on a fair amount of DIY touches and Lisa really made our vision come to life by setting everything out and working with our Florist. The State Room staff was incredible. The bartenders and waitstaff really know what they are doing, and when they tell you they can flip the room from the ceremony to reception in less than three minutes, they are not lying! Not one of our guests had anything negative to say and are still raving about how wonderful the food was. We opted to have the Filet added along with the fun-food-finale and let me tell you, Tom is not lying about the size of this filet.... it is AT LEAST one pound, if not more, and the appetizers really never stopped coming out. Another really amazing touch was that the staff brought around to-go boxes for everyone to bring their leftovers home. That isn't something that we've ever experienced at any other wedding we've been to, and our guests were so thankful for that. This venue is absolutely stunning and the night went exactly how imagined it to go. The State Room really went above and beyond, and we can't thank Tom, Lisa, and the entire staff enough for everything they did to make our night unforgettable. You guys are THE BEST!!!!

This long overdue review cannot fully express how incredible our experience was at The State Room.
We waited over 17 years to get married, and nothing we dreamed up over the years came close to the unbelievable day we had. Tom, Lisa, and everyone at The State Room made our day absolutely magical. Over a year later, our guests still tell us it was the best wedding they've ever been to. The food was endless and amazing, the room is so beautiful, and the people there know exactly how to make a memorable event. Everything we planned was carried out perfectly. Above and beyond! That's how I would succinctly summarize our experience of planning and hosting our wedding at the State Room. From the very first meeting, Tom and Lisa told us they would help us every step of the way to make it a worry-free process, and they certainly kept their word. There's no need to hire a wedding planning or day-of coordinator when you choose the State Room because their team handles every detail, big and small, from the moment you book your wedding through the tail end of your wedding weekend. On the wedding day itself, Tom took care of us like he would his own family. Once again, above and beyond! I received so many compliments from our guests on our venue, especially regarding the food. It was abundant and delicious! Which leads me to my next point: for all that's included at the State Room, they could be charging so much more. At a time when the wedding industry is muddled with excessive greed, it was refreshing to find a venue who valued service and generosity above all. We cannot thank Tom, Lisa and the State Room team enough for making our day an absolute dream come true. -

We had a wonderful day!Tom and Lisa are an amazing team. They were incredibly helpful throughout the planning process. Whenever we had a question, they responded almost immediately and did everything they could to make sure what we requested happened. They really know how to throw a great party. Their wait staff and bartenders were so polite, helpful, and professional. Our guests could not stop talking about how good the food was, how much of it there was, and how beautiful the venue was. -

My wife and I fell in love instantly with the State Room. After being around the capital region looking at venues, entering the State Room brought into focus that I wanted something uniquely Albany. We were hosting my wife’s family from abroad and this was the perfect place to leave them with a lasting impression of elegance and abundance…and wow did Tom and his team deliver! It was a relief to also find a place that was willing to accommodate a later finish time as is customary in Chile. We and our guests were blown away at the variety and quantity of delicious food served up all night long! They lovingly prepared Chilean recipes we brought which made folks feel at home, and my family got a taste of South America! In every moment we felt like a king and queen.
Tom and Lisa were just a phone call or email away to answer any of our doubts. Lisa was amazing at keeping us on track with all the details - helping us put special touches with the appetizers to make our out-of-town guests feel more included - and she did an amazing job bringing our cake design to life. When Tom wasn’t whipping up dishes in the kitchen, he was our chariot and my wife’s personal escort both to and from the event. We really appreciated their fantastic recommendation of our DJ and loved having a pianist to entertain during the cocktail hour. They’ve assembled a wonderful crew to help make our vision a reality and truly made our wedding worry-free as promised. The value of The State Room cannot be understated!

To the Tom, Lisa, and the entire staff at The State Room,
We can not begin to express our gratitude for your commitment, hard work, and dedication to make our wedding day a real-life fairytale! We could tell right from the get-go, this was not Tom or Lisa's first rodeo. Their years of experience in the industry was a key component in making our day an absolute success.
Located in steps from the NYS Capitol building, we chose The State Room because of its beauty, character, and history. After meeting Tom for the first time, we were confident we wouldn't need to spend thousands of extra dollars to hire a wedding planner. Tom and Lisa were exceptionally responsive via phone and email for the year and a half leading up to our wedding. We never felt like we couldn't reach out. They were always one step ahead and knew exactly what needed to be done and when.
The day of, Tom was with me (the bride) every step of the way. He drove us to and from the church ceremony and around the city for photos in his picture-esque vintage car (a State Room perk!). Tom was patient, kind, and accommodating. It was a rainy day, but he did his best to keep me happy and dry.
The food at The State Room was out of this world! That may be the number one compliment we've gotten from guests thus far. The wait and bar staff were exceptional. They were friendly and very helpful, especially when it came to packaging up all the leftovers. Tom and Lisa worked very well with our other vendors and all the formalities went smoothly. The overall ambiance of The State Room, especially for an evening wedding, is like no other. We danced the night away! I have had so many of our guests tell us this was the best wedding they've ever been to! Our wedding day was truly magical and we could not have pulled it off without Tom, Lisa, and the wonderful staff at The State Room! -

If I could give 100 stars I would. We are so thankful we made The State Room the destination of our wedding. Our day was perfect from every small detail to big. The venue is absolutely gorgeous. We felt like royalty in this beautiful crown molded, gold gilded age venue. The food was absolutely fantastic. Our wedding guest are still talking about the how great the food was. The State Room has thought of every detail to make the Bride and Groom comfortable and happy. The ceremony was beautifully adorned in navy and rose gold roses. Our guests greeted with strawberries and champagne. While my Dad and I waited in our own private suite with champagne and calmed my nerves. My bridal party had their own vault room to pre-celebrate. The tables beautifully adorned with floating candles and rose petals . All vendors coordinated and worked so well with The State Room. I saved the best for last. Tom Nicchi and his business partner Lisa are industry experts. Actually I would say the BEST in the industry. From the very beginning when we had just started to wedding plan and chose a venue to the wedding day Tom and Lisa were excellent to work with. In fact we only looked at one venue and were sold. Lisa helped to keep us organized, execute and time manage. She was there for every thought and question. She gave us many recommendations that helped our decision making. She truly gives you 100% attention to ensure your day is perfect. Hard working doesn’t describe her effort. Well, Tom what a dynamic man. What a creative, innovative and successful entrepreneur. We could all learn something from this business man. On my wedding day Tom treated me just as if l was his own daughter.. He met me at my hotel room, escorted me during our first look. Ensured we got phenomenal photos. He even spent the night in the kitchen alongside the chefs to ensure our food was perfect. Then he ended the night escorted my now Husband and I to our hotel where they gifted us for our wedding night. We walked away feeling like Tom & Lisa are more than business vendors but friends, maybe family. Needless to say we recommend if you want a perfect wedding that is stress free book at The State Room. Tom and Lisa are such gracious hosts. They really focus on making the experience tailored to your wishes. From day one to the day of, we stayed in constant communication to keep everyone on the same page, and they guided us through the process very smoothly. We planned on bringing a lot of customized decorations, and had friends of ours make the cake and play live music. Everything was handled professionally and with kindness, and the reception was exactly how we envisioned it. Tom and Lisa will take care of you and make your wedding the perfect day. The facility itself is beautiful, and plenty of space for our number of guests. We received comments throughout the night of how lovely the reception was. For the services provided and the absolutely beautiful venue, I couldn't recommend them more. -

The Perfect Day at the Perfect Venue
We could write an entire book about how great our experience was with The State Room. Tom and Lisa are some of the most professional and caring people we’ve ever worked with. Their experience and advice on planning our wedding reception was truly invaluable. They will help with all aspects and are ready to give advice, if you want it, on literally any aspect of the day- from lighting and sound, to how people and food will flow, to what drinks to serve, even to when you should start and end the day. Their combined experience makes them truly the absolute best in the Capital District. They also provide incredible value for the price. Compared to most other local venues, you will get so much more food and drink for your money at the state room. Plus the quality of the food is outstanding. Our guests were overwhelmed with the amount of appetizers, the size and quality of the entrees and were shocked to see the fun food finale and ice cream sundaes come out throughout the reception. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. The venue itself is beyond beautiful…we couldn’t be happier. There’s also the little details, like Tom being more or less “on call” the day of the wedding to drive the bride and groom wherever they need to go. It’s truly so special and Lisa and Tom will feel like family after all is said and done. We literally cannot say enough good things about the state room and have zero complaints, they truly made our wedding day perfect. -

Tom & Lisa at the State Room really are the dream team; they were with us every step of the way through the planning process and even through our wedding day. Truly I don’t think we could’ve had the dream wedding we had without their help! I DIYed a couple of personalized signs and of course the seating chart but other than that I did not have to lift a finger decorating or even planning where things should go. We literally got to show up, get married, and throw a party…I mean how much more could we have asked for?! We’ve been married for a little over one month now and our wedding guests are STILL talking about the food from our wedding (both the quantity and quality!). Every single person we’ve talked to since says it’s the best (and most) food they’ve ever had at a wedding and they aren’t kidding. After our receiving line, my new husband and I were whisked off to the banker’s loft where there was a (private!!!) candlelit table set for two and a spread fit for a king and queen. There were two each of our signature drinks, water, champagne, and multiples of ALL the food being served downstairs at cocktail hour. We honestly thought we were going to have to be physically rolled down to our own wedding reception! In all seriousness, the private moment for us was hands down one of our favorite memories of the entire evening; it really was so nice. We’ll forever recommend the State Room to anyone who will listen :) -

Many thanks to Tom and the entire State Room team for creating the best wedding reception ever! From the attention to detail, help with planning, and the friendly and hardworking staff -- The State Room is the way to go! Both my husband and I are not from the Albany area, and the State Room was so accommodating! We were able to do some of our planning meetings over the phone, and whenever we were in town, they were happy to meet with us there! They helped simplify the process so much -- With so much to plan for the big day, I am so glad we chose to have our reception here. On the day of your wedding, Tom is there every step of the way, making sure that everything goes smoothly for you.
We are still hearing raving reviews about how much people loved our wedding. Our guests had so much fun and so many of them have told us how much they loved the space, food & staff.
If you're considering having your wedding/reception at The State Room -- look no further. Amazing food, amazing staff, and all in an incredibly beautiful space. We truly couldn't have asked for a better venue than the State Room. From the moment we saw it we knew it was the perfect place to have our wedding. Tom and Lisa were both so helpful during the entire planning process and were always willing to answer any questions we had. On the actual wedding day, Renee stepped in for Lisa who unfortunately couldn't be there that day for personal reasons. But Renee was so incredibly professional, kind and helpful, it was like we had been working with her from the beginning. She helped make everything run so smoothly and we can't thank both her and Tom enough for all they did to make our wedding perfect. They allowed us to just sit back and enjoy our own wedding while they took care of every little detail.
There are a lot of reviews that talk about the food, but that's because it truly is unlike any other wedding venue I've been to. Everything is delicious, it's all freshly cooked on site, and just the amount of food alone makes the State Room completely worth it. They also provide takeaway boxes for anyone who wants to take their food home with them, which is something you so rarely see at other venues. It was such a nice perk that everyone at our wedding was super appreciative of.
Overall I can't say enough good things about the State Room and I'd strongly recommend choosing them as your venue, because they will bend over backwards to ensure your wedding is the best day of your life! -

The State Room was the first venue that my husband and I visited and we weren’t expecting to be so completely enamored! We would compare every other wedding venue we visited afterwards to The State Room. From the beginning, Lisa and Tom made us feel so at ease with wedding preparations and planning. They were always a phone call or email away and responded almost immediately. They were as invested in planning our wedding as we were and made sure that we followed a timeline and got things done–Tom and Lisa acted as our wedding planners! On top of that, you can’t beat the beauty and grandeur of the venue–just stunning!
Tom showed up to the church about an hour before the ceremony to help out–he helped carry my dress and bouquet and made sure I had whatever I needed. You really are his priority and he makes it known. After the ceremony, Tom is right there to give you a bottle of water and whisk you back downtown in his car.
I could write an entire review for the food itself. Everyone at the wedding was so full from the amount of food they ate–the largest prime ribs we have ever eaten, endless appetizers, and mountains of cake. And then a fun food finale to top it all off! Our guests are still talking about the food!

Being Tom's daughter, I've grown up seeing his passion and hard work being poured into The State Room, wedding after wedding. So when it was time for me and my husband to celebrate our marriage, we had no doubt in our mind that Tom and his staff would put on the wedding of our dreams!!!
Our experience from beginning to end was nothing but perfect. From our first meeting and food tasting through the actual wedding day, the staff was attentive, responsive, and accommodating. They made every little detail we had envisioned come to life, and did it with a smile on their face.
AND THE FOOD... We are still getting messages from family & friends about how incredible it was (coconut shrimp and 1 lb filet mignons were some of the highlights). Tom went above and beyond, surprising guests with late night snacks and ice cream sundaes. His staff was extremely attentive to our guests dietary restrictions and providing personalized alternatives to suit their needs.
The room itself was STUNNING that night, as they worked with my specific and particular vision. The marble walls and extraordinary chandelier are unlike any other venue we've been to. Thank you again to my dad and his staff on putting on one of the best moments of our lives. And if you are a potential bride or groom reading this review and wondering if you should book at The State Room... Tom's tagline is "I treat every bride like it's my own daughter" so expect the same service. 10000/10! -

It took me longer then expected to write this review because nothing I put in words can explain the joy I felt on my wedding day and the gratitude I have for Tom and Lisa.
I’m in real estate and know how important reviews are. You can be satisfied and content with the level of service or product you received and even feel good about it but not good enough to take the time to share your experience or even to remember to write the review.
There’s a reason why The State Room has so many reviews.. there’s also a reason that they’re all 5 stars. The experience that is provided is completely catered to you. For brides that know and understand their vision amazing! They’ll manifest it.
When I came in I didn’t quite have a vision. I had just lost my mother and was having a difficult time. My fiancé and I had finally planned a trip to view several venues but it was cut short after our tour of The State Room and getting to know Tom.
Tom. His passion for helping a person’s vision become a reality is apparent and he knows how to pull it out from brides, like me, who are more reserved and unsure.
Before I make this review too long I’ll just give examples of how Tom and Lisa blew my fiancé and I away.
- My guests were raving about the service and food.
- My favorite Prosecco was brought in at no extra cost.
- They coordinated with all my vendors.
-My photos were planned for the capital and a small 5k was going on that blocked the access. Tom saved the day before I had a chance to worry.
My photos were taken at Washington Park because it happened to be a beautiful day for 10/31. He also had a location incase it had rained… Any problem I had was always met with a solution.
I couldn’t recommend this venue enough. They understand what a wedding truly is.

Wedding of Our Dreams
I never thought planning a wedding could be so smooth. From the moment we booked The State Room, Tom and Lisa made sure we felt and knew that everything would be taken care of. We were supposed to get married in June 2021 but ended up postponing until June 2022. Tom made the transition as easy as possible which kept us stress free. There was always an open line of communication between us and Tom or Lisa. Everything with The State Room was upfront and if we wanted to add or change anything it was an easy adjustment. When Tom says that it’s your day he means it. The day was 100% ours and we were able to bring our vision to life. We did not have to worry about anything because as soon as we dropped our wedding materials off they took care of everything from set up to clean up. The staff on the day of the wedding took care of all our guests with the utmost class. The food was absolutely amazing from the cocktail hour to the fun food table. Our guests had such an amazing time. They still talk about our wedding when we see them and want us to have a yearly anniversary party so we could all come back and enjoy The State Room. I would recommend The State Room to any couple looking for a venue that can give you everything you would possibly want. I couldn’t have imagined a better time. -

My husband Alec and I got married at The State Room on September 23rd, 2022 and the day was an absolute dream! From the very beginning you felt like you were the only couple who ever mattered to Tom and Lisa. With that and everything that was included in the venue - it was no brainer for us to choose the State Room. Tom is a unique guy - so compassionate and you can really tell he loves what he does! Lisa answered all my questions quickly and even set up appointments with me to come in person to discuss things with samples as I am a very visual person. All our guests are still talking about the amazing food that is prepared - IN HOUSE by Tom and his wonderful kitchen staff. Believe me when I say it's not your traditional wedding meal. We even got sent home with leftovers (that we continue to eat and share the next few days after). The day of - Tom is with you every step of the way from driving you to your picture location, fluffing your dress, letting me use his keys on my train so it stayed put when the wind wouldn't cooperate, to making sure we were checked into our hotel that night and everything in-between. Lisa brought us upstairs after the ceremony to make sure Alec and I got some alone time before the party started and to make sure we ate! They were just wonderful every step of the way. If you are looking for a magical wedding day with staff who truly cares - please look no further than the State Room! -

The DREAM wedding venue
The State Room is nothing short of the perfect wedding venue. Tom and Lisa really do go above and beyond to make your day the best. Lisa was so helpful in the planning process and organized everything on the day off, not a single thing was missed! And Tom showed up and drove me to each spot I wanted to take pictures at and even made sure myself and my husband got to our hotel room after the wedding. Tom and Lisa seriously are the best and I cannot be happier they were who I chose to help plan my day.
We had everything included from centerpieces, to cake, to late night food and an ice cream sundae bar. Our guests said that the food was some of the best they have ever had at a wedding! The Venue itself is so beautiful inside and we got so many compliments on what a nice wedding we had, but truly owe that all to The State Room!
I could not recommend this venue more for your wedding day - from the service you get from each and every staff member, to the unimaginable food options that keep coming all night long - you can seriously not go wrong!
When we went to a pick up our stuff the next day I told Lisa I couldn’t believe we wouldn’t be coming back because I enjoyed every minute of planning with them. -

The team at The State Room is top notch! Tom was fantastic to work with through out all the craziness of planning and rescheduling our wedding. As a couple originally book for 2020, Tom was always very supportive and positive about giving us the wedding we wanted. We couldn’t have asked for a better guy to lead us through the process. The FOOD was the hit of the night. People are still raving about it. My husband wants to have a wedding every year just to enjoy that menu again! We can’t even decide what our favorites were because it was all delicious.

The State Room was a blessing that graced us in a way we didn’t even realize. I was at my final straw with visiting wedding venues. It just wasn’t clicking for us. I saw reviews for The State Room and said… let’s try one more time. We walked in and between the venue alone and the incredible humans we were acquainted with… We were sold.
Our wedding day was on September 24th and it truly was something indescribable. It was a fairytale. From the second we booked, Tom and Lisa were there for us every step of the way. I was a SLACKER of a bride. It was overwhelming and too much at times. All of that would go away as soon as I’d talk to Lisa on the phone or my other half would go and talk to Tom.
The food - words can’t even begin to explain. We had our beautiful tasting event at the venue and from that point on we told all of our guests “please come hungry… this isn’t your typical wedding meal.”
People are still raving about the selection, presentation, and overall deliciousness of every single thing. (The mini Beef Wellingtons … let me tell you… we are still hearing about those!)
The day wouldn’t have gone the way that it did without the support from Tom and Lisa. They did everything they could to make this the best day of our lives. You’re not talking to a car salesman when you enter this establishment. You’re talking to genuine, caring and incredible people that truly love what they do.
The venue alone looks like a dream with the uplighting and ambiance. The service is top notch. I am so happy something in the universe led my husband and I here.
Lastly— I laugh because I can’t tell you how many times people asked me… “who’s your caterer?”
The VENUE is! Tom and Lisa are! Lisa is behind the scenes putting your dream wedding together for you while you’re getting ready. Tom HIMSELF (owner of the venue) comes and picks you up to bring you to where you are getting married. He then stands with you and fluffs your dress, gives you tissues, makes sure everything is as you can imagine. While he’s being this incredible, his side kick Lisa is putting the fairytale together at the venue.
When the reception starts, Tom is now getting his team together in the kitchen to COOK for all of your guests. You heard me right. He went from tux, to chef outfit, back to tux after everyone ate, etc.
Tom and Lisa both kept us in check the entire time and made sure we didn’t get sucked into missing opportunities. Lisa grabbed my hand and led me to the cake cutting because it seemed impossible to be able to take a second to do so. They both made sure we got night time photos. They both made sure Daniel and I got one on one time during cocktail hour. They made sure we ate. They packed up every single entree for us for leftovers (which we ate all week.)
I could go on and on forever. These two made the best day of our lives an absolute dream. My gratitude will never be enough.
The State Room will hold a place in our hearts forever. Everyone thought Tom and Lisa were family members because of how involved they were! Well, we were okay with that. Because they truly made us feel as so. But, no, they are not. They are just incredible at what they do and go above and beyond to make your special day the greatest day of your life! Thank you. We are still on cloud 9! -

I thought planning a wedding from 700 miles away was going to be impossible, until we found The State Room. We had our rehearsal dinner, ceremony, and reception here and everything from the start of the weekend to the end was absolutely amazing. Tom, Lisa and all the staff are there to help you and make sure you and all your guests are cared for and having a great time. What you see is what you get, there's no hidden/added fees, a gorgeous venue, amazing food, all inclusive, and help with planning from start to finish. Communication was great. They instantly answered my calls and emails and checked in on me to make I knew what needed to be done and see if I needed help or had questions. I got so many compliments during and after the wedding about how the food never stopped coming and how good it was. One thing (of the many) I loved is that they make sure you and your wife/husband have a moment alone after the ceremony to eat and relax for a few minutes. They were always one step ahead and the day of you really don't have to worry about anything except being present. Lisa really is super woman, making sure everything goes off without a hitch and Tom really does treat you like his son/daughter. The day was beyond what I imagined and I would highly recommend The State Room to any couple! -

Our wedding at The State Room was perfect and more than we ever could have asked for. From our first meeting with Tom, we were impressed by the atmosphere of the venue, the packages available, and mostly Tom’s love for what he does. At our first meeting he promised that he is going to treat us like we were his own son and daughter, and he certainly did. All of the preparation work leading up to the wedding was easy, as Tom is always available by phone or email and is prompt with all of his responses. Once we got to our actual wedding day, Tom was right there for us and by our side to help with anything that came up. He made sure nothing was going to stop us from having our perfect day.
The reception itself blew us and all our guests away. Our wedding was a couple weeks ago and we are still having family and friends reach out to us saying they cannot get over how amazing the wedding was and that it was one of, if not the best, wedding they have ever been to. There is a wide variety of food options to choose from for both appetizers and entrees. The five-course meal is beyond impressive. The portions, and most importantly taste, absolutely swept everyone off their feet. Tom over-delivered on the array of food he provided and we truly appreciate him going above and beyond what we asked for. Lastly, the staff at The State Room were all super friendly, but we want to give a special shoutout to Renee, who is a sweetheart and was a huge help throughout the reception. We recommend this wedding venue to anyone looking to get married in the area and do not think you will be disappointed choosing this spot. No complaints from our end at all.

The Best Venue in the Capital Region!
After looking at many other venues in the Capital Region and Hudson Valley, when we toured the State Room we immediately fell in love! The package is amazing with so many things included that you don't see at other places. And the space is so stunning and unique- we were thrilled to have both our ceremony and reception there. From our first meeting Tom told us that he would treat us like his son and daughter and he 100% did! Especially during the pandemic, Tom was so great and flexible. At our request he moved our date from October to June to make sure we were comfortable and happy on the day of our wedding. To say we had a perfect wedding day at the State Room is an understatement. On the day of the wedding we were able to focus on our friends and family instead of the small details. Tom took us to all of our photos in his amazing classic car and was so accommodating. Our guests raved about the food!! There was barely a moment when they weren’t eating. Renee was so fantastic, she made sure everything was perfect for us- from helping to bustle my dress to making sure we ate, she was amazing. A month later and our friends and family are still talking about what a great venue it was. We made the best decision choosing the State Room for our wedding and it was the best day ever. May 16, 2021 State Room Wedding
We got married on May 16, 2021 and our day was everything I could have wanted. From initially booking The State Room in 2018 to having to move our wedding date into 2021, Tom and his staff worked tirelessly to ensure our day was nothing short of amazing. Even with changing the number of guests 3 times due to the pandemic and then a few hiccups in the beginning of the day, Tom reassured us that everything was going to be alright, and it was! The food was phenomenal, our guests are still raving about how much food there was and how amazing it all had been. Every person that attended our wedding has had nothing but amazing things to say about how beautiful the venue was. We loved every second of our wedding! Everything was absolutely perfect and we were so sad that the night had to end! From the first meeting with Tom, we knew we'd be well taken care of. The State Room offers so much more than any other venue we looked at and was very transparent with the pricing! We booked the venue before COVID hit, and Tom kept us up-to-date on the latest regulations. He helped us make both big and small decisions. He even helped us by reading over our vender contracts! We opted for the extra hour, with the late night munchies, which we highly recommend!
Tom was at our church ceremony, and helped to keep everyone organized and calm. He offers to drive the couple in one of his vehicles. We had him drive our parents from the church to the reception, and he then came back and picked us up from photos! During the night, Tom is in the kitchen making sure every plate is equally amazing! At the end of the night, he made sure we got all the cards and presents, and then drove us to our hotel! He did such an incredible job in every aspect of our day! We have received so many compliments on the venue and food!! All of the wait staff was very helpful and accommodating! We loved Renee!! She made sure we were very well cared for as soon as we arrived. The open bar and bartenders also did an amazing job keeping the drinks flowing. We would highly recommend this venue for anyone looking to get married in the Albany area! -

When we picked The State Room for our wedding venue, there was a sense of relief that we just knew our day would be perfect because we had the best team working with us to make it happen! When my parents met Tom for the first time, he ensured them that he would make the day perfect as if it were his own daughter’s wedding day - and I can wholeheartedly say he did just that. The day of the wedding, Tara and Eric were by our side at all times to make sure everything was perfect. Dream wedding! When my son and his fiancé were looking at venues, the reviews for the state room were almost too good to be true! But we quickly found that the State Room is worthy of all the reviews and many awards! We could not have been happier with every part of the event from start to finish. Tom, Eric and Tara are exceptional! Whether you have a big budget or small budget the State room has a package that is incredibly competitive. We thought the price was extremely reasonable for all that was included. Their attention to detail will allow for all of the wedding party and the guests to relax and enjoy the day! The downtown photo’s: stunning, the vault: SO cool, the food fabulous! The service excellent! The building in itself is a wonder...so much character and charm. We all wish we could do it again! Our wedding on 8/17/2019
We got married at the State Room on 8/17/2019, and we cannot begin to express how grateful we are to have chosen this venue and how supportive the team (Tara, Eric and Tom) has been through out the whole process. We were anxious in the beginning to plan from out of town, but Tara and Eric have kept us on track the whole time. Not only did they thought of all the details (on top of the already GORGEROUS venue), they have been keeping me calm, especially the days leading up to the wedding and through out the big day. We have gotten advice that were crucial to have had a successful day when the planning stress built up, like to focus on ourselves and remember what’s important, which really lifted up our spirits leading up to the wedding. The thing is, the professional planning and details were done perfectly, but most importantly, the State Room team really cared about us as a couple and really supported and guided us along the way. I would say they were our anchor especially when things were afloat. If you’re looking - do not hesitate, you’ve found the best venue and best team right here. -

Absolutely Amazing!
Five Stars is not enough to describe just how incredible our The State Room experience was. Like many others have said, we knew this was the venue for us when we walked in the door; it was that strikingly beautiful inside. Then we spoke with the team, and our minds were made up for sure. We'd be planning the wedding remotely, but Tara and Eric made it a seamless and stress-free experience and all of our questions and concerns were always answered.
As for the wedding day itself, it was amazing. It was really hot that day, but Tom made sure we stayed hydrated before we got to the reception. Eric made sure we stayed cool, well-fed, and with a drink in hand (he makes a mean cosmopolitan!) Tom, Eric and Tara truly took care of us all day. Last, but not least, the food was so incredibly delicious and more than plentiful. The cocktail hour alone was out of this world, and the entrees were awesome on top of that. We still get compliments about how amazing the food was, and what a phenomenal wedding it was. Everyone had such a great time. We hope to get invited to more The State Room events so we can enjoy their top-rate experience all over again! -

Jim and I wish there could be 5 more stars to add to our review! We were married on July 13, 2019 and it was the most memorable day of our lives mainly due to The State Room. When you think of booking a venue, you often think of finding a "place" to get married or have a reception. However with The State Room, you get so much more....you get the planning up to your wedding day, support throughout your wedding day, a seamless reception, AND a gorgeous place....literally the whole package. Tara, Eric, and Tom were there from the beginning to help us plan our day. Tara and Eric worked seamlessly together to help keep us on track to make sure we had everything in place for the day...with no pages unturned. On the day of the wedding, Tom took over and helped Jim and I feel like the most important people in the world. He knew all the tips and tricks to make sure our photos, bridal party, wedding dress, flowers, hydration were ALL taken care of. He was there all day until dropping us off at The State Room to run the kitchen. Eric took over from there to make sure we were ready to enjoy the reception. From food, dress bustling, hydration, entrances ... and more...he made sure that everyone was prepared and organized for the reception. Tara was behind the bar making sure things were running smoothly there! There are so many more things that made the rest of the evening so amazing....The room itself is just gorgeous and almost 3 months later, we are still hearing from family and friends about how amazing the food was. People comment on how much food kept coming out and how delicious everything was.

Being an out of state bride made all the entire process more difficult, because I had limited time to choose & make decisions, and couldn't "pop in" as easily as other brides during the process. Luckily, Eric, Tara and Tom were the solution we were looking for. We toured about 7 venues before we saw the State Room, and from the minute we walked in, we knew this was going to be the one. They were extremely knowledgeable and patient with all of my questions, and responded quickly to all of my "urgent" emails. When they say that everything will be "Over The Top", they truly mean it. They managed every single detail, from communicating with our vendors, to ensuring the room looked EXACTLY like my vision, to all of the day of communications so I did not have to worry about a thing. Our Wedding Day was insanely magical, and Eric and Tom are 100% responsible for that. I cannot say enough good things about how absolutely amazing our day was, and by how far our expectations were constantly exceeded. I would without a doubt recommend The State Room to any couple getting married. -

There aren’t enough words to explain how amazing our wedding was thanks to everyone at the state room! The minute I walked in 2 years ago I knew it was the place for us and I could have never imagined just how amazing it would actually be. Tara has been amazing to work with these past 2 years answering every and any question we had, making recommendations, and not looking at me like I was a crazy person when I wanted to make my own cake. She made every vision we had a reality and was very accommodating to everything we needed. All we had to do was drop all of our stuff off the week of the wedding and they set everything up for us exactly how we wanted without even having to say where things went. Eric made sure everything ran smoothly that night, made sure we had everything we needed all night long, and kept bustling my dress no matter how many times Dallas kept stepping on it and making it come undone. These 2 are the definition of the dream team, making every step of the way so easy! And last but not least, Tom is just beyond incredible. I thought he was joking around when I first met him and he said he was going to be my second dad but he was there every step of the way, carrying my train, keeping me hydrated with water bottles, and of course joking around all day to keep us laughing! Not only is everyone here amazing but the food is also incredible! We had serious wedding blues because this team made us have the most incredible wedding ever! Everyone is still raving about the amazing wedding we had. I can’t recommend them enough! -

Amazing Time Had By ALL!!!!!!!!
They say 3 things make a wedding. The Music, food, and bar. When is comes to Music Man Entertainment Dedicated, Passionate, and Hardworking,are just some of the words that describe this company. We have a very opinionated family of Irish and Italians and everyone loved him. The dance floor was packed to the point the photographers were squeezing past people to take pictures. Mike put his reputation on the line to make sure to deliver a wedding that people will take about for ages. No matter the generation or genre Mike had everyone smiling and busting a move. Also, when it comes to availability this man is reachable by phone, text, email. He is a prime example of what hospitality is supposed to be. If Mike is you DJ then you should have nothing to worry about! -

I cannot express enough my gratitude to Tom, Eric and Tara at The State Room for making my daughters wedding a fairytale dream come true.....literally!! The moment we stepped into the venue almost two years ago, we knew immediately that “this was the place”. Immediately felt a sense of calmness, which never happens to me. The architect of the building was stunning and classic, Tom made my daughter feel as though she was a princess and Eric and Tara took us all under their wing. The professionalism and knowledge of these two is nothing short of amazing. Communication and correspondence truly one of a kind. Every bump or obstacle was addressed and resolved. They became family and I hope to maintain in touch for years to come. A wedding is only as brilliant, beautiful and flawlyss (yes, I did that for a reason!) as the venue and those professionals you work with. Top notch all the way from food, decor to every tiny detail of the day. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for a day to remember forever. I can't speak highly enough of Tom Nicchi and the staff at the State room. My daughter's wedding was there this past weekend and it went beyond our expectations. They were highly organized and helped with planning the perfect wedding reception every step of the way. The staff are very friendly and extremely professional. The food is like no other. So fresh and delicious. Our guests raved about their appetizers and entrees. Tom was with us from the beginning of the day until the end. Check out their website and then call and arrange a visit to view the beauty of the architecture and decor. There is no venue in the Capital Region that compares to the State Room. -

Choosing the State Room for our wedding ceremony and reception on 11/10/18 was the best decision we ever made. We visited so many wedding venues and the second we walked into the State Room and met Tom, Eric, and Tara, we knew this was the place for us. The staff at the State Room are amazing and go above and beyond to make your wedding experience incredible, over the top, and stress free! Eric and Tara were there every step of the way, ensuring that our wedding was exactly what we wanted. They were incredibly responsive whenever we needed anything and were always happy to meet with us and make sure everything was on track. On the day of the wedding, Tom, Eric, and Tara treated us and our guests with such profound kindness and professionalism. The packages offered through the state room are also incredibly affordable for all that comes included, it really is amazing what they do! I've had several people tell us that it was one of the nicest weddings they have ever attended. Guests also cannot stop talking about the food! Not only how incredible all the food was but how much food they give you! The state room truly does not disappoint. Our wedding day was so incredible and amazing and I know it is because we chose the State Room as our venue. We cannot thank the staff at the State Room enough for all they did to make our wedding so memorable. They truly provide an over the top experience that is unmatched by anyone else. My husband and I were married on 8/18/18. When we were searching for venues both of us had envisioned an outdoor wedding, but after visiting the State Room our minds were instantly changed. It wasn't the outdoor venue we thought we'd have, it was so much better! Tom, Eric and Tara took excellent care of us from start to finish. They tell you right from the get go that your wedding will be "over the top" and let me tell you, it truly will be. Tom took great care of me from start to finish and if it wasn't for him I would have been a mess before my ceremony! Eric and Tara entertained all of my crazy visions and helped bring them all to life! Not only did the servers begin serving our dinner to the song "Be Our Guest" from Beauty and the Beast, they even came out in a perfect formation that went with the song. It was truly great! You won't find many other wedding venues that will do that. The food was not your typical "wedding food". It was fresh, plentiful and delicious. My guests are still raving about the food and the overall experience they had three months later! The State Room will go above and beyond to ensure that your wedding is everything you dreamed of and more. As a bride, you will actually get to eat and you can enjoy your wedding reception knowing everything is under control. The sad part about our wedding being over is that now we no longer get to work with these amazing people! But our experience was truly fantastic and we are so happy we chose the State Room and we are forever grateful for the truly excellent service we were given. -

What I say here cannot even begin to cover how happy we were with The State Room. Our wedding was 9/8/18. From the moment we even went to see the venue, Eric, Tara, and Tom were wonderful. They made us feel at easy. The venue was beautiful, but we walked out deciding to go with that venue because of how comfortable we felt our wedding would be in great hands.
Throughout the planning process, Eric and Tara were always reachable. They made planning a breeze. Any request was met, and executed beyond expectations. During our rehearsal, everyone was impressed with how efficient and awesome Eric was with handling our large party.
On our wedding day, Tom was with me for our first look and photos. He had every possible thing covered, from mints and water to encouraging words. All morning he just kept making sure I was happy, that was all that mattered to him.
Our wedding was so beautiful. We had both the ceremony and reception at The State Room. My husband and I were given VIP treatment, the guests were amazed at both the quantity and quality of the food, and the wait staff kept everything running smoothly. We felt so well taken care of. Even after the wedding, everything was packed up for us and we didn't have to worry about anything.
I couldn't recommend this venue more. For ease of planning, for the beauty of the venue, for the value, for the wonderful team you get to work with. Everything. -
Ryan Sent on 09/11/2018My husband and I had our wedding reception at The State Room back in June. I really can't say enough great things about these guys and their team. When I first met Eric I knew this would be our venue(even though we had a few more to check out). Yes the place is beautiful, but I knew the team running it were going to put all the time and effort needed to make our day perfect. Eric, Tara, and Tom were so incredibly helpful every single step of the way. They kept us on track and on task for months! When the day finally came and Tom came to the house with the car to drive myself and parents to the church I was a nervous wreck. I didn't know what to expect. But he was so encouraging and kept me calm right up to the second I walked down the aisle with my father. And he was so great driving my husband and I around for photos these rest of the day. Eric and Tara, you guys were exceptional that night as well. We never had to think about a thing, and you had things done before I even asked.
Everything was great. The service, the food, the drinks. Our guests are still talking about how amazing it was. We cannot thank you enough for the perfect reception!

Erica Sent on 09/11/2018Where do I begin?! Eric, Tara and Tom are AMAZING to work with! From our initial meeting with them, we were sold, they provided everything and then some in their packages. There are no hidden fees, you get what you get and they lay it all on the line for you. Giving you recommendations, tips and a schedule so you are always on track! All my questions and concerns were always answered with their honest opinions and knowledge. Their communication with us throughout the entire process was top-notch. I never once felt pressured or had a second guess I picked the wrong vendor because they KNOW IT ALL! Our wedding day was flawless, the room itself it just gorgeous and breathtaking down to every little detail. We had our ceremony at the State Room as well and it was perfect and convenient. Once they turned the room around for the Reception, we all were in awe. Every detail they had taken care of, even if we forgot or didn't think about. The staff for the night were polite, friendly and knew what they were doing. The food never stopped, and it was delicious, the only complaint I heard about the food was that all my guests were stuffed! You don't here that too often.. Many of my guest got to take their meals home because they simply couldn't eat anymore. My husband and I had the best night of our lives because of The State Room. The dance floor was always packed and there were smiles everywhere, what more could we of asked for?! A thank you just isn't enough for what this talented team did for us, and we are forever grateful for it all!

Stephanie Sent on 07/10/2018Donte and I were married on May 27th, 2018 at The State Room in Albany, NY. We had our ceremony and reception there and could not have been happier. Tom and Tara truly took care of ever last detail of our entire day. They also endured my father’s thorough examination of the contract and made it through alive! LOL! Tara was my sanity through the entire planning process and gave me guidance when I needed it. They made sure that the vision that we saw for our day was brought through fruition. For example, for favors we were doing slices of my favorite cake that my uncle from NC bakes. Tara took my boxes and my uncle’s contact information and was sure that the cakes were boxed when he got into town and at every guest table. I had bought confetti poopers that I wanted to use in some way on the big day and since it rained we couldn’t use them during the day for pictures. Tara took it upon herself to create a grand exit/send off for us with the confetti and sparklers that she had. If she did not do that I probably would have forgotten about them and they would have gone to waste. They made every detail special for Donte and I. Tara constantly checked in with us the entire night to be sure we were happy and had everything we needed. Tom was there for Donte and I every moment during pictures helping me to avoid the rain we had on our big day, getting in and out of the car, as well as helping with where we could take pictures since our picture plans had derailed due to the rain. Not to mention how many compliments I got from my guest about how over the top our wedding was from the venue’s unique ambiance, amazing food and the fun food finale. I had family and friends that had food allergies or were vegan and they accompanied every guest so that they could enjoy every course of food presented at the wedding. The State Room is an amazing place to get married! Tom and Tara as well as the rest of the staff truly made us feel like part of their State Room family.

Melissa Sent on 06/02/2018My now husband, Cory, and I would HIGHLY recommend the State Room for a wedding (or any event, really!) The staff was so helpful - Eric, Tara, Tom, and the whole State Room crew were amazing to work with! They went above and beyond for us and made us feel so special. Like we were the only ones that really mattered. And they made sure everything ran smoothly and on time! (Which I appreciate as someone who runs events and works in theatre as a career.)
I must also mention the food. Cory and I had been to weddings where people went home hungry. So our list of requirements included making sure our guests were fed and happy. Let me tell you, you will not go hungry if you choose the State Room! Between all the hors d'oeuvres during cocktail hour, you will barely have room for dinner...But the food is so amazing you won't want to stop eating! And I recommend getting the Prime Rib. You will not be disappointed (almost bigger than the plate and at least an inch thick!)
It's also a beautiful venue and doesn't need much in the way of decoration. They also provided candles for us and photo booth props. They have table numbers as well, but we made our own (they were themed, so kind of specific lol) We did our ceremony and reception in the room downstairs. They changed that room over so quick! They told us it would take 5 minutes, and I believe it was 5 minutes on the dot! We also enjoyed our cocktail hour in the private room upstairs together. We were able to eat hors d'oeuvres that were brought to us and enjoy our first moments as a married couple. It was absolutely lovely! You won't go wrong choosing the State Room. Everything was perfect! Thank you to everyone at the State Room for giving us the most perfect day we could have ever dreamed of! -

The State Room is an incredible location for a wedding. When we went for our first visit, Tara greeted us and we knew right away we were in for a treat. After our initial tour we were finally able to truly visualize our wedding. Tara was able to answer all our questions and explain all their accommodations clearly. Eric reserved some sweets for us before we left and we felt instantly at home. We marched on with the wedding planning with the State Room’s guidance along the way.
Thank you for all your help and all the work you did to make it a wonder night. We never thought we'd have so much fun at our own wedding!! The team at The State Room went above and beyond to provide an incredible experience for our guests (Eric you are amazing) and maintaining our enjoyment as the top priority. A true VIP experience, keeping the event moving smoothly just as we planned. The food was amazing, the decor and setting authentic and impressive. Our families are still talking about our wedding as one of the best of all time. Tara and the planners cover all the basis, Eric and his team execute every detail with hands-on attentiveness. Jordan Sent on 12/27/2017My husband and I are so happy we chose the State Room as our wedding venue. During our initial meeting, owner Tom told us we would feel like family and they sure delivered! All the guests we've talked to after the wedding complimented our wedding and the State Room and many have said it was the BEST wedding they've ever been to! Throughout the entire planning process, the team was always available, responsive, professional, and flexible. Many places try to nickel-and-dime you, but not the State Room. They give you the best while also working with your budget and requests.
The food, one of the most talked about things by wedding guests, was delicious and plentiful. We got so many compliments on the food - the appetizers were delicious and didn't stop coming; the filet mignons were HUGE; the Fun Food Finale was a great addition at the end of the evening! They also sent us home with a ton of leftovers.
The team was the best to work with. Tara was always available to answer any questions I had, and sent helpful reminders to me so nothing got forgotten. Tom was there the day of, picking us up in the antique Buick, helping me in and out of the car, holding my flowers and dress, he even braved the frigid December weather while we took outdoor pictures. At the reception Eric was never far away. All I had to do was ask my husband "Do you know where Eric is?" and he was there like magic! He made us feel so special and helped with anything we needed; he bustled my dress and even sewed my dress when someone stepped on it.
My husband and my's favorite part of the night was sitting together in the private bridal room upstairs while cocktail hour was going on - it was just the 2 of us eating appetizers, drinking our signature drinks and reflecting on the day so far - that we were married! Rather than stressing and making sure everything was in place, Eric and the team took care of it all and made sure we could enjoy the best day of our lives. -
