We got married at the Starline on NYE last year and it was an absolute dream. They were so flexible with us regarding sudden number changes with Covid and were willing to work with us through our options. The day went by exactly as planned and Robbie helped to keep us organized and answered any questions we had. We used the Ferris room and it was stunning. The perfect size if you have a bigger wedding, or if you have a medium-size one and want to spread out a bit more. They handled everything and we are so thankful! -

I searched long an hard for a venue that was rustic but not just an open warehouse and when I found Starline Factory I knew it was exactly where I wanted to get married. I have received so many compliments on how beautiful and unique my venue was! I worked closely with Robie and she was so accommodating to all of my questions and requests and gave me the option to customize so much! She always responded in at timely manner! The food was amazing, all the guests thoroughly enjoyed their meals! My wedding was the best day every because of the staff at Starline Factory. They were VERY accommodating and kind for when my fiance and I had to change our date due to Covid. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I would HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend this venue!! -

Our wedding was very special and unique at Starline Factory on October 3rd. We can't say enough good things about the staff, Josie & Robie, and of course the breathtaking building. We will be back again to visit for dinners and art shows. 5 stars! -

Just had our wedding at the Starline Factory. It was wonderful and exceeded all of our expectations. We were originally going to get married in April but because of covid we decided to postpone.
Both Josie and Robie were wonderful to work with. They accommodated all of my requests. They made the process seamless and put our minds at ease with their covid practices.
I couldn’t be happier with the results and can not wait for the opportunity to visit them again! -

Best day EVER
I couldn't be happier with our choice to use Starline. It was the BEST decision that was made for our wedding. The day went by flawlessly and we couldn't have asked for a more beautiful location. -

We couldn’t have asked for a better venue. Starline was professional and easy to work with through the entire process. As an architect, this was exactly the setting I was looking for to blend my wife’s rustic tastes with my desire for a building with an exciting character. The exterior of the building has beautiful brickwork with ivy grown walls and the interior is striking with the original heavy timber framing, exposed brick, and the salvaged artifacts from the factory make this space one of a kind. In addition to the aesthetic of the venue being able to have the catering, linens, dinnerware, cake, and bar service all in house made the planning process so much easier. We even had them provide lunch for our bridal party day of the wedding, which was reasonably priced and delicious. The venue has a day of coordinator who helped ensure things stayed on time and went smoothly. We received so many compliments and would highly recommend the venue for weddings, other private events! We want to extend a special thank you to David and Virginia for helping make our day so perfect. -

Sarah Sent on 09/21/2017We had our wedding here on 9/3/17 in the 1883 room. I knew when I walked in the very first time that I was going to book it that day. The ambiance is breathtaking. It’s unique and absolutely beautiful with exposed brick, big windows, hanging lights, and natural light during the day. I worked with two great people there (Teresa and Lea) and they were professional, knew their stuff, and friendly. They went out of their way for me more than once. For example: I didn’t like a sign that was hanging by a window and they lowered it; I had a small wedding but they let me request 2 bartenders; my favorite surprise was how Lea herself came out with a server to the area we were taking photos to say hi and bring out appetizers for the wedding party since they were missing the cocktail hour!; and I forgot all about a cake stand until the weekend of the wedding so they let me use one they had on hand and even made it pretty with flowers.
Throughout the year leading up to the wedding I was a frequent visitor because I was excited to show off where I’d be getting married to everyone who was interested in seeing it. Every time we ate at the Stanchion Pub the staff were a joy and the food and drinks were great.
I haven’t seen the professional photos yet, but all the pictures from friends and family turned out gorgeous because of this place. And the food!! We did the dinner buffet and it was amazing! I’d order it at an upscale restaurant and be totally satisfied. Everyone loved it. Major props to the chefs.
The dessert bar was exceptional too. You’d expect cookies and brownies….but instead they had really good tarts, truffles, and all kinds of really pretty and tasty treats.
The serving staff and bartenders were all pleasant and did great as well. My husband mentioned that at one point in the night, a bartender noticed he didn't have a drink in his hand and had one sent over to him. I’m so grateful that we chose Starline for our special day. -

Steampunk wedding
This is a gorgeous wedding venue with great prices. Everything turned out great the cake of Julie's cakes was beautiful and tasted great. The only down fall was we ended up having out original coordinator put her 2 weeks in 2 month before wedding, then our second coordinator just left a month before with no warning, the 3rd coordinator had a family emergency on our wedding. The one thing that also kinda made me mad was that they offered a private coordinator that would be there on your wedding day and rehearsal if doing it there but was not offered the services but all and all it was perfect and I'd go there again. -

Ashley Sent on 06/20/2018We were married in the Helm Room in July 2017, with our reception immediately following in th same room. We worked with David and had a great overall experience. He was very communicative, helpful and helped us stay on our timeline for due dates. We chose to do a buffet and were very happy with the food and so were our guests! We had an open bar package and that went over very well also. All the staff was very helpful before, during and after our big day! The venue is beautiful!

Emily Sent on 10/19/2015This Venue is incredible! We live in Denver but are both from the Midwest (me being from Northern IL) so we decided that having a wedding near family would be easiest. We booked walk throughs at two places: this one and one venue in Downtown Rockford... Teresa, here at Starline, was quick to respond and was on top of making sure we had all the information we needed before we go the the venue. The other place was rude and it took forever for them to get back to us...
Our wedding isn't until April and I'm probably driving her crazy with all the questions I have, but Teresa has been great. Friendly, knowledgable, patient and their staff has been very flexible with our catering needs. They worked to fit our tight budget, didn't charge us rental fees, and they are making an incredible brunch buffet for all of us...
They're extremely reasonable as far as pricing, let's just say, I couldn't have even booked the other venue for the price of my entire wedding.
If you're looking for a hidden gem and a gorgeous chapel and reception halls, you've definitely found the place here. Another plus is the train stop is right next to this venue, so you and your party can go downtown Chicago if you want! Overall, I've had an incredible experience with this venue and cannot wait for my actual wedding day . -

Stunning Venue and great service
I was pleased with the venue the entire time but about a month before our wedding, my wedding coordinator, who worked for the Starline, abruptly quit without letting myself or my husband know.
The owners son and a new weddings coordinator stepped up instantly and took on our entire wedding in stride without question. They helped to ease all my fears by meeting with us right away and turned what could have been a stressful situation into a beautiful flawless wedding.
The only minor issue that was missed it the switch was my request for no garlic in the food due to my allergies. The chef himself on the day of however, personally made me my own plate that was very good!
The starline staff were all pleasant to work with and professional and my guests loved how unique the venue itself was! The other nice thing with them is that they take care of everything, linnins, drinks, catering, the cake. Part of the reason ours was so excpensive was because we chose a full bar package but it was definitely worth it! Also from a picture aspect of things; there was a variety of different unique and stunning locations to take photos in!
It’s a little expensive yes but they are well worth it!!!
Ps Incase your looking for a photographer who knows the best place for photos in the starline, Melissa Emory was amazing!!😉 -

It was a beautiful venue, we received many compliments from the rustic vibes to the delicious dinner. Bartenders were very good too! Only issue was the man and woman we had been working with for over a year were no longer with starline the week before the wedding causing confusion for us with direction. -
