A literal dream weekend.
My husband and I got married at Columbia Woodlands this past weekend and it was seriously the weekend of our dreams. We booked the venue in March of 2020, and we had quite a few bumps in the road as there were management changes as well as a few wedding coordinators coming and going. We had really started to lose faith in the venue until about a month prior to our wedding when their newest coordinator, Amber, had contacted me to introduce herself and get up to speed. The previous coordinators hadn’t left her much information to go off of, but after a meeting with us she had honored everything the venue previously promised us, and went out of...My husband and I got married at Columbia Woodlands this past weekend and it was seriously the weekend of our dreams. The previous coordinators hadn’t left her much information to go off of, but after a meeting with us she had honored everything the venue previously promised us, and went out of her way to accommodate new requests we had. Her responsiveness was always impressive whether it was via text, call or email from the time we met until the wedding was over. From the time we arrived on Friday to start setting up the venue, until the Tuesday following our wedding she was consistently there to help us with anything we needed. We actually lost our wedding rings and my car keys and her and the staff never gave up on looking for them until we had them back in our possession. We opted for the all inclusive package and our family and friends were enamored by the beauty of the property, attention to detail, helpfulness from the staff and overall convenience of having everything wedding related in one location for the weekend. The food was amazing - from rehearsal dinner through Sunday brunch. The bar options were extensive and the bartender, Ducky, was so knowledgeable and seemed to really enjoy interacting with our guests. The entire staff seemed to really love their jobs. Neither my husband or I have a single bad thing to say about Columbia Woodlands since Amber took over. We will absolutely be back for an anniversary stay. We opted to go with On The Mic Entertainment (DJ), Kayla Duffin (Photography), and Seifert’s Flower Mill and they were all very familiar with Columbia Woodlands and had mentioned the ease they experienced working with them during our event and in the past. We just can’t say enough good things. The weekend exceeded what we dreamed about and pictured it would be.

Extraordinary
This is no ordinary venue! If you want extravagant, this is the place for you! My Wife and I were absolutely pleased with the hospitality, service, and planning that the staff at Columbia Woodlands took care of for us! If we needed absolutely anything, they took care of it for us! Britney “Bee” was an absolutely pleasure to work with! Lois was very hospitable in every aspect imaginable. Chef Natalie and her staff created the best food that we could have ever imagined for our big day! We cannot express the love that was given by all of the staff members! We have never been complimented so much by our guests about the service and the food! Everyone was absolutely pleased!This is no ordinary venue! If you want extravagant, this is the place for you! Best day ever!
Best wedding day ever! My husband and I got married here in October of 2023 all of our friends and families stayed in the cabins our wedding weekend and it made the exoperiance so much more fun we drove aorund on golf carts all weekend and got to really enjoy our time spent there. Zoe the wedding planner is a saint she took care of everything for me so I could acturally relax and enjoy my day as a bride. The food was amazing too they really out do themsleves and take care of every detail for you! Book here now!!Best wedding day ever! My wife and I got married here 8/25/18 and did the all inclusive package with Megan as our coordinator. To start, Megan was fantastic, she responded promptly to all of our questions and needs and was a very down to earth person and maintained professionalism. She was great, and we are both very grateful for her. We also interacted with Brittany some in the booking side of things for the cabins on the property and she was prompt with response and great to deal with as well. All of the other staff at CW was also very nice when seeing them on the grounds and when they were helping with a wedding. DJ Dave Frazee was really cool and...My wife and I got married here 8/25/18 and did the all inclusive package with Megan as our coordinator. DJ Dave Frazee was really cool and professional and he even helped my wife put together a mash up of songs so her and her father could do a father daughter dance like you would see on Youtube! His format online was easy to work with when setting up our song list and he even met with us to make sure he had everything perfect and ready for our day. He kept the reception moving perfectly and smoothly and even drew an awesome dance crowd and it was "lit". Dave also had a nice sound system and lighting system for the dancing and also helped us do a question game with our shoes that turned out hilarious and entertaining. Dave was one of the bar tenders along with his twin brother who i did not catch his name, but they were both great. They had a specialty drink for the bride and groom and delivered on all of our requests. Natalie was the chef there and cooked an amazing arrangement of foods for us. We had multiple people tell us it was the best food they've had for a while, let alone at a wedding, and the best wedding they've been to period. She even arranged 2 special plates for the vegetarians in the family. Natalie went to Twisted Olive to try the Brussel Sprouts we wanted because my wife and I liked the style of them, and she replicated them for our wedding at our request. Lastly, the grounds at this place were beautiful and the cabins you get were nothing but quality. -

I can't thank this venue enough! My wedding was beyond perfect because of this venue and staff! They went out of their way to accommodate our needs and wants! Every single staff member was absolutely incredible. The cabins were truly incredible. The detail was absolutely amazing, they put out rose petals for the night of the wedding, and I can just keep going about the detail. My guests were blown away, by how gorgeous the property and facilities were. Our wedding coordinator megan was a dream come true! We met the owners and she was an absolute sweetheart making sure our day was perfect as well. We can't wait to be back every year for our anniversary! The Spring House is a great venue, somewhere between Rustic Lodge and Country Club. Decoration and presentation were elegant, yet welcoming. Chef Cameron's spread was sumptuous and aesthetically pleasing; something for everyone and every wine. The lone musician was a lovely touch. Dave and the staff were professional and gracious, guests felt pampered but not smothered. I believe everyone enjoyed a memorable evening. The Springhouse and staff are amazing!! I highly recommend this place. This is the up-and-coming venue to have an event at! This is one of the most beautiful places I have seen in eastern Ohio. It is the perfect venue for any event -- especially weddings and parties. In my 19 plus years of industry experience, this is the venue that exceeds your wildest dreams for your wedding. Raven (event coordinator), Chef Cameron, Dave (mixologist), Crystal, and support staff run like a well oiled machine. Their level of professionalism and willingness to go above and beyond is second to none! In my professional opinion this place and these people are the best secret in all of Northeast Ohio. If you are looking for a resort experience for the entire weekend for your wedding or event that is personalized to meet your every desire than please do yourself and your guests a favor and book now!!

Wish I could write a happier review
I am from Ohio but I live out of state so I chose this venue after extensive online research and making a tour to my top picks. CW really stood out from the other limited choices I saw. It is a beautiful place with rustic vibes set on tons of private wooded lands.
The issue is how it is managed. I went through 3 wedding coordinators. For a period I could not even get a hold of the venue after one quit suddenly which stressed me out as I was getting close to the wedding at that point.
There was a lot of conflicting information I was given depending who I talked to. In addition, as the...I am from Ohio but I live out of state so I chose this venue after extensive online research and making a tour to my top picks. CW really stood out from the other limited choices I saw. It is a beautiful place with rustic vibes set on tons of private wooded lands.
The issue is how it is managed. I went through 3 wedding coordinators. For a period I could not even get a hold of the venue after one quit suddenly which stressed me out as I was getting close to the wedding at that point.
There was a lot of conflicting information I was given depending who I talked to. In addition, as the newylweds a lot of information we should have received early on did not happen until close to the wedding so it ended up that unforeseen costs kept getting added on to our bill. For example, they charge for linens and it was way more expensive than getting them elsewhere. Plus, unbeknownst to us they expect you to rent out all the cabins and tents there for your wedding for a 2 night minimum at over $600 per night or you have to pay extra charges for things that we thought were included.
I also don't like their billing practices. We came up with a cost and I was on a monthly payment plan but once the wedding coordinators quit the billing stopped so I had to pay a lot more at the end. Then they would charge different amounts so I had to keep asking for updated bills. I really had to go over everything item by item frequently to figure out new charges or different costs in charges and then contact them to get clarification.
Always heads up there is not much else in the area except a local hotel with a bar. So we had our rehearsal dinner there. It was in the outdoor pavilion. It was beautiful and was a pretty standard set up.
The coordinator we ended up with for our day was pretty new to the role at that venue but she really did do her best. I do like her but unfortunately, the ball was dropped on several important items that she should have handled and some promises for what we would have did not occur which upsets us.
We stayed on site at the cabins and that was lovely and luxurious, though expensive. The service and amenities to the cabin tenants was great and I enjoyed exploring the grounds.
The food at the venue was really good. Both for the wedding and for the room service.
So overall, it is a beautiful place with some perks but it is definitely more expensive than anticipated, it was pretty stressful to work with this venue and they did not completely deliver as promised. -

After we signed the contract and put down a 3500 dollar deposit we were exited about the most important day of our life. WRONG!!!!! Despite repeated attempt to contact our wedding coordinator, we heard nothing for 7 months. All calls and text messages went unanswered and we were left in the dark. Fast forward to about a week ago and we receive a call from a new wedding coordinator (apparently the old one quit) and we began working on the most important day of our lives. During the meeting she presented us with updated pricing where all items had increased...****-------------------------------------------BRIDE BEWARE-------------------------------------------------------*******

When we disclosed our shock we were told she could make it right and get us the pricing that we were originally presented with when we signed the contract for our day. Over the next week we struggled to get in contact with their manager Danielle. She seems to never be in the office or available to take calls (Exactly what you want when you are stressed about the most important day of your life) Her rudness and shortness of our calls led us to back out and get our money back. Unfortunately, after she promised to return our deposit she sends us an email stating that she will not return it.
If you care about having a smooth and peaceful wedding. DO NOT BOOK HERE!!!

The venue is beautiful, but I should have seen all the red flags throughout the process. The only good thing that came out of this nightmare was that I did receive my deposit back after threatening to get my attorney involved. For all the brides...Brides beware.
