Absolutely recommend - the best!
There aren’t enough words to describe how INCREDIBLE The Snells truly are. Not only is their talent unmatched - but they are also genuinely some of the kindest, warmest people you could ever meet. Ashlea & Tyler spent our intimate wedding weekend with us on Block Island capturing memories we will cherish forever. Every image and video we received truly feels like a memory frozen in time, filled with so much emotion and joy, bringing us back to that exact moment.
The Snells perfectly captured the magic of our entire wedding weekend. I am completely blown away every time Ashlea & Tyler send us images and videos from our wedding weekend. The morning of our wedding, I received previews from the amazing adventure shoot we did the day before – the incredibly fast turn around was so appreciated and it filled me with so much joy and excitement while getting ready on my wedding day.
Beyond their remarkable artistry, from the moment they arrived, they put us completely at ease, allowing us to relax, be ourselves in front of the camera, and fully enjoy every moment of our wedding weekend. Ashlea and Tyler went so far above and beyond in every way - from thoughtful little touches, scouting amazing places to shoot, and making sure no special moment was missed. Ashlea and Tyler even pulled strings to have a Ferry moved during our ceremony so that they could capture the perfect images for us – their attention to every detail is unmatched and what they will do for their clients makes you feel like family.
All of our guests have continuously shared their love for Ashlea & Tyler since our wedding — not only about how sincere and wonderful they are as people, but also of their extraordinary talent, which shines through in every image and video.
We would recommend them again and again (and again!) to anyone looking for not just an exceptional photographer and videographer to capture a special moment, but truly an unforgettable, incredibly meaningful experience. -

Snell Photography & Videography: 11/10 The sweetest, most professional, fun, couple you will ever work with. Ashlea and Tyler are AMAZING. They made everyone feel comfortable giving a little guidance but also making everything natural. 1 day after our wedding, we are still at the resort and they provided the best wedding photo previews and reel! We did not expect such a quick turnaround time for those. They also pay attention to detail and saw a video we posted on our story and used the same sound for the most epic reel ever. They made our wedding day fun, special, and I cannot wait to see the rest of the work they have for us.

Ashlea is hands down the most professional business woman I have worked with both personally and professionally. Ashlea and her team were critical in creating the weekend experience of our dreams for our friends and family. Ashlea and I have created a true friendship and from our first consultation I knew that she would be the perfect fit for us from multiple angles - professionalism, creativity, design and vision. Her attention to detail is unlike any other and the entire experience from first meeting through the wedding weekend was custom, personalized and uniquely curated for my husband and I. Not to mention, the week of the wedding from Wednesday to Sunday, we had the most incredible experience with the team - James, Marlin (our pup!) and I were all so comfortable and had a genuinely fun time which led the team to be able to truly capture our love in a genuine and real way - and we had fun doing it! The turn around was outstanding - we even got a preview of our say DURING the reception!! I would recommend Ashlea a million times over! A big thank you to her friendship and craft since we will not be able to share and relive these memories forever. One last note - Ashlea is so incredible with both children and animals!! It was our flower girls birthday for the rehearsal and she did a whole little photo shoot for her. And she captured such wonderful pictures of our pup. We are so lucky to have had the chance to work with Ashlea. Aside from the above, Ashlea is a genuine, kind and thoughtful person that is the most deserving of recognition. -

Best there is!
Where do we even begin!? Ashlea and Tyler are the ultimate dynamic duo! They captured the most beautiful images, videos and moments of our wedding day. Not only that, but they were there for anything Cody and I needed from the moment they arrived to the moment we left. I don’t think I can put into words how shocked I am that they captured EXACTLY what I wanted in my wedding photos. Something I’ve dreamed of for years. Being a little type A, I imagined myself sending our wedding photographer inspo shots of what I wanted, but definitely did not have to do that with Ashlea and Tyler! They made my dreams come true. They so talented and we are blown away with the final images. I have no clue how we are going to choose which ones we want to showcase in our home. We might just have to do a gallery wall! 110% recommend this amazing husband and wife team!

EVERYTHING we needed + more
Ashlea was everything we needed, wanted, and didn't know we needed. We got married in Jamaica at a resort that she had shot other weddings at. SHE WAS AMAZING, you would think she had lived at that resort knowing all the places she wanted to take us. The photos were beautiful and she got them to us so fast! Ashlea wasn't just our photographer, she was our schedule keeper, our friend and supporter, and messenger. I've never felt so comfortable taking 1000+ photos! HIGHLY recommend her, can't say enough good things and neither could my guests! -

An amazing end to end experience!
Working with Ashlea and her husband was an incredible experience. From the first day I reached out about questions to the day of the wedding and beyond, they were a great help every step of the way. We we’re so surprised with how fast she got the photos back to us as well! Literally a ton of great photos, we couldn’t stop looking at them. She truly captured the moment for us in film. The first picture was just as beautiful as the last. We absolutely loved sharing them with friends and family. The video that they put together made everyone cry because it captured such cherished memories of our special day. I would definitely recommend Ashlea Snell Photography to all brides that are looking for a wedding photographer who is there with you every step of the way and produces such great work! -

When I was looking for photographers, I was very overwhelmed. I finally posted on a wedding page asking for referrals and someone referred Ashlea based on the light and airy style I was looking for. Ashlea was above the budget we had originally set for photography, but once I got her on the phone I knew we had to make it work. I am so glad we did! Ashlea made our wedding day absolutely perfect. She was so friendly and helpful and made posing and photographing feel so natural, easy, and fun. She surprised us with sneak peaks at our reception and wow!!! They were stunning. She turned our entire gallery around in about a week - and it was not short on photos by any means! I am so happy to have met Ashlea, had her as such an intricate part of our special day, and treasure her photos for a lifetime. -

So Amazing
Our experience with Ashlea was more than I could have ever asked for. I was so panicky that something was going to go wrong and Ashlea assured me to leave everything in her hands and not to worry about a thing (easier said than done at that time haha). Our day was perfect. Ashlea kept everyone focused during family/group pictures and made sure my husband and I had everything we needed all day. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Ashlea. Our day was perfect and our pictures captured it all! I would highly recommend Ashlea!!!! ♡ -

If you're looking for a wedding photographer, stop right now and contact Ashlea- she is AMAZING!!! Hands down the best wedding decision we made!
When we started our wedding planning, the wedding photographer was at the top of our list of importance. I was looking through instagram trying to find pictures that matched the style that I was wanting when I came across Ashlea's profile. I loved what she had on there and contacted her immediately. She responded to me the same day- seriously the fastest most personal response we received from any wedding vendor. We met Ashlea for the first time at the local Starbucks and knew immediately she was the one. She is the sweetest person ever and feels like a friend from the moment you meet her. From that moment on she was so much more than just our wedding photographer. She answered all of my questions during the wedding planning process about engagement pictures, wedding timeline, vendor recommendations, and seriously any wedding logistical question that came up. I never felt like just another one of her clients, she showed that she cared about our day, took the time to get to know us and was just as excited for the wedding as we were.
On the wedding day she went above and beyond! Her and her team made the day run so smooth. We stayed on schedule the entire day, I couldn't believe it! Everything was exactly how we had imagined and she got all of the pictures that we wanted and more. We did a first look and I highly recommend! Ashlea also did an amazing job wrangling our wild wedding party, they were all so impressed with her and commented multiple times on how fun she was. Throughout the day she made sure we had everything we needed and often asked if I needed water or a break. Did I mention she was pregnant and asking me if I needed anything?! Seriously the SWEETEST boss lady out there. She truly goes above and beyond for her clients.
She showed us our sneak peak at our reception- so cool! We got our entire gallery only 2 weeks after our wedding and we love every single photo. She is outstanding at what she does and we highly recommend booking her as your photographer!! -

Ashlea is so amazing at what she does! When I was trying to find a photographer she was the only one who sent me a personal message. When we started messaging we instantly clicked! She was always so great at responding to my questions right away! The day of the wedding went absolutely perfect with her as our photographer. She helped our day go so so smoothly from start to end with her amazing organization skills! She helped all of our awkward groomsmen feel so comfortable for pictures. I couldn't have asked for a better girl for the job.
When we received our pictures less than a week after our wedding we were so so so amazed at the beauty of each and every one!! She captured every single special moment of our day. And some without us even knowing she did! I would 100% recommend her time and time again for your special day! -

Ashlea did a wonderful job capturing our wedding last year! Our outdoor ceremony got rained out and postponed for half an hour, and she was super flexible and helpful with everything! She will go above and beyond to make sure your day is wonderful. During the planning stages, Ashlea gave me some great advice and recommendations for my flowers, catering, and the cake. Her experience and connections were invaluable. And we treasure the beautiful moments she captured for us. I highly recommend choosing Ashlea Snell as your wedding photographer! -

Fall, in love
We believe Ashlea went above and beyond for our engagement and wedding photos. We went over a bit on time for both and she was so gracious in staying to make sure we got the shots we wanted and then some.
She also gives you this big booklet of information to help introduce you to wedding photography which shows how much she cares about giving you the best experience you can possibly have. Ashlea was very easy to talk to when we finally met and made the picture taking process very relaxing and fun. Our wedding party even commented afterwards on how much they liked her (and we had 18 of us that she had to keep on task). I wish I had taken the time to meet up with her to go over things that were important to me before doing our shoots. Ashlea was super open to that type of thing, and I didn’t take advantage of it. We did, however, meet up with her the weekend before our wedding to scope out the sites where we planned to take photos and it 1) helped the day of feel so much more relaxed because we knew what we were doing, where we were going and how to stay on schedule and 2) actually helped us find the spot where we took what ended up being my favorite photo! I also couldn’t have completed my “day of” timeline without her help. It was like having the wedding coordinator that we didn’t actually have. We also had all of our wedding photos (hundreds, seriously) back to us a week after our wedding. She must not have slept that entire week. I have so many friends who have waited for months to get their wedding photos and I was able to enjoy mine right away. We can’t thank everyone who helped us with our wedding day enough, but I know it wouldn’t have gone nearly as smooth without Ashlea’s help and my stress levels probably would have been through the roof. We love how the wedding photos turned out and it makes my heart so happy when I look at them. Thank you, Ashlea! -
