Wonderful even with chaos

I was a bridesmaid and this venue was amazing. There was some chaos and unruly guests and they were super understanding and professional. They were there for our every need and made the entire night as stress free for the bride and groom as possible. I couldn’t recommend them any more!

Loved the silo so much!

I AM SO HAPPY WE GOT MARRIED AT THE SILO!!! Their team was so attentive and made our entire experience so perfect! Would 10 out of 10 recommend to anyone searching for a venue. The Silo was beautiful and amazing and I am so happy we chose this venue.

Beyond our greatest expectations!

If you’re looking for an event center that goes above your every expectation you will most definitely find it at The Silo. From the staff to the owner you will experience professionalism and communication that is above standard. As Mother of the Bride I was blown away by the way they sought to relieve my responsibilities and help me with every last detail to create the most stress free wedding experience I could dream of. By the end of the reception I had received so many compliments about the fantastic DJ, the large reception space, how beautiful the venue is, I knew we had picked the right place because our guests had felt and experienced it with us! Words don’t fully express how amazing they made us feel and seamless the entire day went due to their knowledge and desire to make our day better than we could of imagined!

The Best Venue

The Silo Event Center was the PERFECT location for our wedding, we were married here June 9th, 2018 and it was the BEST DAY EVER. Everything went so smooth and stress free. Charity is very professional, handled my big day perfectly and kept the night running smoothly with the timeline I had, She did an OUTSTANDING job! Hugo, the Owner, was AMAZING not only did he keep me informed every step of the way he was our DJ too! The energy he brought to the dance floor was perfect, he was so smooth and my guests really enjoyed his dance moves! I highly recommend LionsRoad for your DJ services! The food was so delicious thanks to their Chef, I received so many compliments! I cant say enough wonderful things about this venue, they have done so much for me and I am FOREVER grateful!

Our daughter had her wedding at the Silos in September. From the moment we walked in to visit the Silo for her wedding we can not say how wonderful it was. From the staff to the atmosphere. Haley helped us so much months before and day of the wedding. The chef helped us decide on a wonderful menu and we had so many compliments on how wonderful the food was. And many compliments on how beautiful the Silo was. All the staff from the bartenders and all the staffing was wonderful and so kind. Again thank you Haley for helping make our daughter's wedding a memorable memory.

We ended up choosing another venue out of town, but Tim and everyone at the Silo were so kind and professional that I had to write a review. They set up a tour for us on short notice and went out of their way to make sure we had all the info we needed. I've heard only great things about this facility and wouldn't hesitate recommending it to anyone.

This venue is absolutely amazing! It is beautiful inside and out. Plus, Tim and Haley are fabulous to work with. They always responded promptly to our questions and offered very sound, wonderful advice on the details of set up, amount of food to plan for, etc. etc. They always seemed to want us to not have to worry about anything - they would take care of it. The day/night of our rehearsal and wedding they were there every step of the way - handling all the details. Everything turned out as we had hoped and dreamed. The Silo looked so pretty and the courtyard was perfect for the ceremony, the food was great and they did an outstanding job with our signature drink. We had numerous compliments all evening on the place. In addition, the Redbow House provided the perfect spot for our bride and bridesmaids to get ready and for the wedding party to relax and visit after the rehearsal and then after the wedding. Tim and Haley arranged for us to get into Redbow House early so we had the chance to unpack all our things, bring food etc. and have everything done well in advance of the other activities. I cannot say enough good things about The Silo and their staff. We looked at a lot of places and by far this was the most beautiful. The Grange worked so well for our buffet and the Silo was the perfect room for the cake. They offer so many options on decorations, food and drink choices. I would highly recommend this spot to anyone who is planning an event or a wedding!!! Can't do any better.!!

Recently got married on 9/17/16 and could not be happier with The Silo. From the staff to the food, everything was perfect and went off without a hitch. The staff was always there when we needed them, Hailey was FANTASTIC and always had a smile on her face. The Chef made sure we had exactly what we wanted our guests to eat and it was perfect and then some. All in all not enough could be said to express how perfect The Silo is. We HIGHLY recommend this venue to anyone and everyone!

The Silo made my dream wedding come to life! Great communication! I don't think it could of gone any smoother! They took care of everything on the actual day and I literally did not have to worry about one thing besides getting myself ready because they handled it all. And the food was amazing! Perfect Venue!

Rachel was the absolute best! She even help my mom get last minute make up out of my dress that my niece got on me hugging me right before I walked down the aisle. Their food is amazing and worth every penny. I received nothing but compliments from all my guests!

The staff are amazing and super accommodating. Could not have been more pleased. Having a beautiful ceremony and reception was important for me, but more important is the people you do business with, and I doubt anybody could have topped their service. We received so many compliments about the venue and the food. The location is easy to get to but a little removed from the city so its nice and quiet. I highly recommend them for other brides!

From day one, The Silo was extremely helpful and easy to work with! Our wedding was Kentucky Derby themed, and The Silo permitted me to have my two horses onsite for the ceremony and most of the reception. They also worked with me to stream the Derby live on a large screen and the staff were just as enthusiastic for the race as our guests were. Rachel was attentive and helpful throughout the planning process, answering questions quickly and thoroughly via email. The venue is absolutely beautiful, and The Silo handled all of the setup and tear down efficiently. The food was excellent, and the service from the waitstaff was outstanding. I'd definitely recommend The Silo!

Cedar rock inn is the most gorgeous place I have ever seen (this is coming a lot from Tulsa,OK). All the rooms have something unique and different to them, the way it was built is amazing. My husband and I had our wedding at the Silo so we rented out the Inn for the weekend, we didn't want to see each other until I walked down the aisle the day of the wedding and the Inn was the PERFECT place for my bridal party and I not to be stuck in one room, we actually had a whole floor to ourselves and so did the groomsmen. It made for perfect pictures outside and inside as well. I definitely recommend going just for a tour of the place and you'll want to stay!

First of all, Tim has to be the best event director of all time!! I could not have asked for a better person to help plan my wedding. My family and entire wedding party was so impressed with Tim because he truly cared that our wedding was one of the best days of our life! The rest of the staff at the Silo was unbelievable as well!! We loved renting the entire property out - it made the entire weekend even more special. The food at our reception and breakfast each morning was INCREDIBLE, thanks to Chef Joe Hamilton! If you are considering renting The Silo Center, at Redberry Farm for your wedding, you should book today! And if your budget allows for it, book the bed and breakfast plus the houses. Your family and wedding party will love staying there!

The whole Silo Event Center and Cedar Rock Inn staff is out of this world! They were there every step of the way making sure myself nor my guests wanted for anything! Everyone was raving about the food and how amazing all of the staff treated all of the guests! Tim, Rachel and Amy are an extraordinary team!! I cannot thank them enough for making our wedding perfect beyond my wildest dreams!

My expectations were so fulfilled and more. This venue was just perfect!! Though I had a small wedding, there was plenty of room for more. The gluten-free food, especially the fried chicken was supreme!! I wish I had another reason to use them again, oh yeah, the 3 bedroom cottage where we stayed, I'm thinking Thanksgiving! lol. I helped with the planning of my bosses' 40th surprise birthday party and The Silo Event Center was wonderful with every aspect of the planning and event. Our company also held their Management Christmas dinner at The Silo Event Center and it was perfect as well.

The Silo couldn't have provided a more perfect venue to host our wedding. Rae specifically was a JOY to work with. She was prompt, helpful, attentive, and kind. Rachel was also wonderful! We received compliment after compliment on our food and the venue. One was even "this is the most beautiful wedding I have been to!" Also, Cedar Rock Inn was another big part of why we loved our wedding. It is a bed and breakfast on the property where our bridal party stayed the evenings of the rehearsal dinner and wedding. Fabulous breakfast and outstanding atmosphere. Thank you to everyone at The Silo and Cedar Rock Inn for making our wedding perfect!!!

This venue is absolutely stunning. The staff are some of the nicest and helpful people I encountered on my wedding journey. They gave me suggestions when I needed help finding certain venders to make my wedding vision possible. The day of my wedding went flawlessly and I felt like I had no other responsibility other than to have the time of my life with my husband and family and friends! It was definitely a night I will never forget and I have so much of that to thank the people of the silo for!

The staff at the Silo were so fun to work with. They were happy and excited about our event and were very flexible about set-up and clean-up. Obviously, those times depend on what else is scheduled at the venue….but we so appreciated that they let us have extra time since nothing else was scheduled close to our event. And they helped my florist with any requests she had….she said they were the best and most helpful she's ever worked with. And….the food was amazing!!!! The chef did such a wonderful job and was also so fun to work with. The presentation was beautiful and the service was impeccable! We were just so happy with everything and our friends and family said it was the best wedding they have ever attended. This place rocks!!!!!

Rachel and Tim were both great to work with. All my questions were answered in a timely manner and they really know their venue and business. They took over our contract with the rental company and made sure we had everything we needed so I didn't have to make multiple phone calls to change things. Rachel helped me get the ceremony organized and personally attnded the rehearsal and was there for the ceremony, making sure everything went smoothly. Amy and the event staff did a wonderful job taking care of us the reception, and the food was wonderful! It may seem expensive, but these people know their craft and you will not be disappointed!

The Silo Event Center was the perfect venue for my rehearsal dinner, wedding and reception! The scenery is gorgeous and I loved the combination of the beauty of the outdoors and the convenience of two great indoor halls. Having an on staff chef to work with was amazing to design the perfect menu for each of our occasions. The staff helped take care of everything and ensured that our day ran as smoothly as possible! I can't imagine our day being more perfect than it was at The Silo!

I never imagined that my wedding would be this fun, carefree and beautiful. Not one thing went wrong, and everyone had an amazing time. My guests could not stop raving about how beautiful the silo was, and I agree! The food and service was incredible. Rachel and Tim were so helpful and nice. We stayed in the Cedar Rock Inn with 2 of our freinds that night, and I highly recommend it. The rooms were spotless, comfortable and inviting. We got to hang out by the fireplace and re-cap the evening, followed by a DELICIOUS breakfast the next morning. I am still on cloud 9 from having such a wonderful experience. Thank you all so much!

The Silo is an excellent place in Tulsa, OK to get married. We held the ceremony in the courtyard and the reception inside. Everything was perfect, from the setup and service during the event and tear down afterward. I'm so glad we chose to have our wedding here - it was a stress-free event!

Rachel, Amy, Joe and the team were all awesome. Rachel is available anytime to answer questions - from large to small. Amy was awesome the day-of during the reception and Joe's food was awesome! I had several guests say to me during and after the event that was not your typical "wedding food." The entire staff was friendly and professional - even telling our guests to stop cleaning up afterward because that was their responsibility.

It was a wonderful experience and I highly recommend The Silo Tulsa if you want a professionally-run, stress-free and FUN event.

My Wedding Day was PERFECT! The Silo is a beautiful place to get married. Rachel is amazing and was super professional. Everything went smoothly and as planned. The food was absolutely delicious!! My guests complimented the food, Silo, and great staff. I couldn't ask for a more perfect day!

Rachel and all the Silo staff were amazing! They were very accommodating with all of our requests and were extremely helpful with the rehearsal and events the day of. Our guests commented on how great the food was and everybody enjoyed the signature drinks the bartender made.

This was one of the easiest events I have ever planned. The staff at the Silo was very helpful and patient with us. The food was wonderful, the room looked great and the service during the event was excellent.

This venue, alone, without a lot of decorations would be a great setting for a wedding. We brought lots of decorations, seating, homey touches for our own taste, but the grounds, courtyard and great room alone would be fantastic. At the Silo you could create an atmosphere to satisfy any style. The staff was very willing to accommodate us with our questions, planning and the setting up of all our decorations. We received so many compliments on our choice, and decor, of the Silo for the wedding. We couldn't have been happier with our choice in this venue.

We recently hosted a rehearsal dinner for our son's wedding for 120 guests. The Silo is a beautiful venue with a wonderful staff of very professional event planners and caterers. A DREAM WEDDING! The Silo had everything and more! I never had to worry about a thing, they had it covered! Highly recommend for any couple who wants the peace-of-mind and beauty the Silo has to offer! The food was like dining at a fine restaurant! So delicious!

After much searching, we were able to narrow our venue choices down to 2 in the Tulsa area. However, after meeting and getting to know Rachel, we knew The Silo Center was exactly where we wanted to be married. We were very reassured by how quickly she responded to our questions and concerns and how flexible they were to help us meet our needs. The reassurance of having someone so professional and experienced walk you through the whole wedding planning process was worth it's weight in gold!
On our wedding day, everyone told us over and over that it was the most beautiful venue and the best food and service they had ever had at any wedding. Rachel also made herself available to us for additional setup on our wedding day for a small charge to help things go extra smooth. We didn't worry about a thing and our wedding was everything we ever could have dreamed of and more! We would highly recommend getting married at The Silo Center! And getting married on a sunday evening instead of a saturday saved us a lot of money as well! Thank you to the Silo and Cedar Rock Inn staff for all their hard work and dedication and for helping us have our dream wedding!

Rachel, Tim, Chef Jeff, and the entire staff at The Silo and the Cedar Rock Inn were fantastic!! Each of them was a pleasure to work with and made the entire experience all the more special. From making sure every detail was covered, to seamlessly handling last-minute changes, to monitoring weather conditions, they were on top of everything!

The food provided at both the rehearsal dinner and at the reception was phenomenal! I highly recommend Chef's pulled pork, stuffed mushrooms and special recipe sangria......yum!!!

As parents, you want your daughter's wedding to be the most special day of her life, and everyone at The Silo and the Inn helped us do just that!!

I would highly recommend The Silo Event Center! We not only found the venue to be exactly what we were looking for in southern, rustic charm, but also found Rachel and staff helpful, creative, and personable. From the planning stages through to the final clean up, all staff went above and beyond to make our stay at the inn, wedding, and reception pleasurable. Not only did the staff make us feel special but also everyone of our guests. One of the family members said, “The website does not do this place justice.” Everyone was happily surprised by the grounds, Inn, Silo and the whole feel of tranquility.

The food prepared by the chefs at The Silo and at The Cedar Rock Inn was outstanding. They did an amazing job with the reception menu and the display of the food. Everyone enjoyed the food immensely and was taken aback by the look when they walked in and saw the display.

Staff at the inn were always a step ahead of the wedding party helping us with anything that we needed during our stay at the inn. All staff at the reception was extremely helpful and very pleasant to be around!

We will definitely recommend this facility to others.

You can not find a more knowledge and helpful staff. Rae, TIm and Rachael provided suggestions and guidance throughout our wedding journey, even helping with the boutonnieres on wedding day. They were awesome. Amy was on top of every detail of the reception. The food was A+, thanks Chef.

The silo was wonderful! We had our groom's dinner here the evening before our wedding for all of our family and friends who had to travel to get to the wedding (about 100 people). The building itself is beautiful and my East Coast guests all loved it. The chef also did a fantastic job - from working with us to figure out the best menu to cooking ridiculously good BBQ. I highly recommend the venue.

Tim, Rachel, Rae and Jeff are amazing to work with. They covered things that I hadn't even thought of. Just for an example...the wedding was on the lawn, so they offered to have someone stand near the parking lot to take gifts inside so the guests wouldn't have to carry them to the ceremony site or have to go back to their cars. They went above and beyond. Rachel jumped in with no prior notice to direct the rehearsal. Jeff the executive chef put all those extra touches on the food that had my guests raving that it was THE best dinner they had ever had at a wedding. This has got to be the most beautiful venue in Tulsa, especially for the vintage wedding theme my daughter chose. Every staff member was professional and I felt like they were all about making us have the best experience possible. Thanks Silo and Cedar Rock Inn.

The Silo was a great place to have our wedding. Everything turned out great and we didn't have to worry about anything. Their staff was very helpful and took care of everything. We were very pleased with all the professionalism. We did end up spending a little more than we planned but that was because we ended up with more guests than we originally expected.

Great facility and staff

We enjoyed working with The Silo Event center as part of our planning of a wedding in Oct. 2020. Their pricing is reasonable, the staff was helpful during the planning and the day of the event. We appreciate the open communication and efforts to help accommodate our needs as best as they could. Our event was a large event of 250 guests and their onsite coordinator was wonderful at helping us to meet the needs of our client (bride/groom). We look forward to our next event at this location!

The Silo is great! We looked at so many venues, and nothing compared to The Silo. We chose it because of it's rustic feel. It's a little hidden, but the treasure that it is makes it all worth the money. All of the staff at the Silo were so helpful! They also helped recommend vendors so that we could get some ideas on what we wanted.

This place was absolutely beautiful!! They had been amazing throughout the whole process of planning my wedding! Always contacted me when they needed information and always answered when I needed information! They know the day of a wedding inside and out and knew every answer to all my questions as well as how to make my wedding day as amazing as possible and it was. They were with me the whole time of the wedding making sure everything was on track as well as the rehearsal! I'm truly couldn't have asked for better. What a great place for a wedding. I would highly recommend the silo event center. The atmosphere was casual but very nice, Service was great and we had lots of compliments on the food. The guests raved what a nice place this was. It's not cheap but I have no regrets spending the money.

We absolutely loved The Silo! It was the exact sort of venue we were looking for. The place is beautiful. The grounds well kept and gorgeous. The food is absolutely the best wedding food we have ever had! Everyone keeps talking about it. They were extremely helpful through the whole process as well. Prices do add up pretty quickly though, but it was well worth it! The only issue we had was a communication problem with sparklers, but I believe that this occurred do to a change in staff! Overall, we honestly could not be happier with the way our wedding went!

I was so happy with my selection of the Silo Event Center! They entire staff made it very clear the night before and day of the event that making me happy was their number one priority. The entire evening was perfect, the food was delicious, and everyone had a blast! We also rented out Cedar Rock Inn for the wedding party and it was absolutely amazing.

The Silo is a beautiful facility and the staff is very helpful.

The only issue we had was in the initial planning phase. It was very difficult to get information on what type of meal would be included at the minimum charge for catering. I wanted this so that I could decide if it was sufficient or if I wanted to increase the budget for catering and possibly reduce the guest list. We did get it worked out and everything went very well after that. It would have been much easier if they had some sample menus at different rates to help in the process.

I highly recommend The Silo and the bed and breakfast.

This event center is beautiful and the staff is incredible. Every need was addressed and carried out by the Silo staff. The chef provided a meal to fit our needs that was delicious and healthy. The guests are still talking about the food! My only caveat is that we were not able to taste the food beforehand. Overall, I highly recommend this venue for a wedding or any other happy occasion.

My husband and I had an amazing wedding at the Silo. Tim and his staff helped so much with making sure that I was happy and comfortable with everything. They helped with the rehearsal and coordinating everyone on the day of. We didn’t want to see each other before the ceremony and Tim made sure that he knew where we both were at all times to make sure that the first time we saw each other was when I was coming down the aisle. Amy the banquet manager was there to make sure everything was running smoothly. The event was amazing, the staff was great, and my quests commented that it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding.

Dream wedding

Everyone at the Silo made our wedding day flawless! They were well prepared and very knowledgeable about any questions we had. They coordinated with the wedding planner very well. The cottage on property is where the bride and bridesmaids were able to get ready and the groom and groomsmen had the upstairs of the Silo. They even had a golf cart to take us up the hill to the wedding site we choose! They have three places to choose the ceremony area.
They were misleading about their vendor approved lists for bartenders 2 days before the wedding we found out our bartenders through our caterer wasn't approved.
The only thing I would have looked into more is an Airbnb or something similar so we could hangout at the place the wedding party planned on staying overnight. (A lot of the wedding party was from out of state or this wouldn't have been an issue.) We had rented the cottage for the night on the property but found out the only people allowed to be in the cottage after midnight was the bride and groom which was disappointing since they mentioned it close to 11 that night . Besides those 2 mishaps they did a great job! Being more knowledgeable about this info would be beneficial for future events there.

The Silo was the perfect place for our wedding and I couldn't be more happier with the way things happened. My only negative comment would be that we had purchased so much alcohol for our wedding and then we were told by one of our guests that they were being charged for something we had already paid for.

All in all it was a great day and we couldn't have done it without the Silo Team.

The Silo is a beautiful setting for any event and the staff were amazing to work with. The price is a bit on the expensive side, but if it's within your budget, it's worth it. They take care of so many of the details for you and communicate with your other vendors for you.

The food was amazing! My only complaint would be that the venue was way too hot. Everyone was sweating and I (the bride) spent a majority of time trying to cool off in the bathroom. I would definitely recommend making sure the AC is turned down to accommodate the number of guests. Everything else went smoothly. Rae and Rachel were extremely professional. I loved having my event at the Silo. The food was incredible and we received numerous compliments about the chef and staff. The facility was beautiful and the Silo booked and laid the linens for the reception area, as well as set up chairs for the ceremony. The weather was iffy on the wedding day so the staff was flexible to do what I wished, though they were very reluctant to go ahead and set up for an outdoor ceremony once that is what I decided I wanted. However, they did so anyway and no rain arrived so it was a great success. The day went off without a hitch and I felt very supported by the staff. Their servers checked on the groom and me, brought us a meal and refills without us having to get up and make our way through the crowd of conversational guests, which allowed us to have a few moments of relaxation together. I loved this venue. The wedding party also stayed on the premises at the Cedar Rock Inn Bed and Breakfast and it was flawless. Everything was excellent!

I absolutely loved using The Silo for my wedding. It was absolutely perfect in every way on the day of the event. My only complaint would have to be in the flexibility category. I used an event coordinator not associated with The Silo. She had amazing ideas, some of which were squashed by The Silo due to fact that it wasn't how things were "normally" done. Also, my husband & I requested that each of us had a "to go" plate made up since we didn't really have time to eat at the reception. We figured since we had rented out the Cedar Rock Inn for the weekend that this wouldn't be a problem, but our request went unfulfilled by the staff due to reasons unknown. Later that night we had to drive the McDonald's for a late night snack because we were unable to eat at our own wedding! Everything else was absolutely magically & we hope to spend more nights in the Cedar Rock Inn in the future.

The wedding was beautiful, but there were definitely some hiccups because the coordinator provided with the venue who had been meeting with us for months (months!) went on vacation on our wedding weekend. She left without telling us until the week before, and apparently without sitting down to go over accurate details with her replacements. We certainly didn't get to make sure they heard everything again from us.

So, they made our guests wait for a little over an hour to eat while we were taking pictures (the people there to celebrate are just sitting there, hungry, bored, and draining the open bar). I'd been very specific about making sure dinner was served while we were off doing their thing. It didn't "ruin" our wedding by any means, but it was one of the few details I was actually concerned about that got completely ignored and affected every single person there. Could have been avoided, could have saved me irritation on an otherwise happy day.

Just make sure your coordinator will, you know, stick around, and it will be great.

It is a beautiful facility and most of the staff was very helpful. However, there were some extra costs that came up that we felt should be included in the up front rental cost of $3500 such as-the facility should have chairs available for outdoor ceremonies, the facility should also have their own dance floor, some of the decor they offer costs extra and really should just be included in the price if you want to use it.
The catering was very good except for that fact that you cannot keep the leftovers even though you're paying a lot of money for all of the food. We also got a few complaints that the wait staff was a little pushy-they started taking plates that people were still eating off of, etc.

The Silo is a wonderful place for a wedding or event. It is beautiful and rustic. I stayed at the Cedar Rock Inn on site the night before the wedding and the night of the wedding, and it was such a special experience. The staff at the Silo and Inn are excellent to work with. The event itself did end up costing more than I wanted because the only up front cost you really know is the cost to rent to space, not the cost of the food, alcohol, etc. I understand that this varies greatly, but they should be able to give you averages based on your guest count and style of meal etc, and this took me a long time to get from them--with a lot of back and forth, and I think part of that is they have no menu prices or suggestions. In part that is really awesome because they design the menu you want, but budgeting wise when selecting a venue it is hard to know the overall cost. They are also very inflexible with their rules--no sparklers etc. But they always have a handful of other options and suggestions for you to choose from if they can't accommodate your wishes. Overall, I am happy with my choice of venue and would definitely recommend the Silo to other brides.

The actual weed was a complete success. It was wonderful. The week leading up to the event was a nightmare. Confusion over billing and the fact that there was bed and breakfast attendant or security on premises overnight was an unwelcomed suprise, especially for the cost. As for the wedding itself it was wonderful and beautiful. We all loved it.

I am the mother of the bride. My daughter's wedding was in May 2011. My biggest disappointment was the food. I wanted a taste test and even offered to pay for it. They do not do taste tests. We had a $25 per person buffet. The "grilled" chicken was cold and tasteless. The oven baked potatoes were cold. The salad consisted of a mixture of greens, tomatoes, cheese, croutons, and cucumbers. The rolls were purchased and dry.
They closed the line as soon as the last person went through and there had to be a lot of food left over because we had about 20 people cancel after they said they would come. Rachael was great to work with but somehow the things we planned with her did not get executed by the staff. We went over the lighting several times because the reception was at 4 p.m. and we wanted the room as dark as possible. We had rented canned lighting and the room was too bright for the lighting to show up. (They did refund the cost of the rented lights) It was in the low 90's the day of my daughter's wedding. It was hot inside. I complained about 3 times and she did the same. I assumed the food was going to be in the same room as the reception but it is in another area so the door to the reception had to be opened to get to the food. However, even after 2 hours after eating, the room was still pretty warm. The staff did not take care of the bride and groom. Their toasting glasses were not filled when it was time to do the toast. The photographer was helping the staff instead of the person in charge at the site. Rachael was not at the site the day of the wedding. We spent $8,000 for the reception. If you can not get a taste test, I would be really careful about booking here. The chef at our wedding came from a large hotel and the food tasted like bad hotel food. My idea of grilled food is cooked over a flame on a seared grill. They must have an indoor unit; it tasted like it was oven baked. Without a taste test, you don't know what you are going to get. They did not do a very good job of explaining what you were going to get for your money. Do have a non-relative person in charge at your reception to ensure everything you planned is carried out. Have them watch everything. The place is a nice site for pictures. I loved the atmosphere inside the building. My daughter's theme was "rustic elegance" and that is a good way to describe the place. Very unique. I think that they have not been in the wedding business too long. Hopefully, they will take the negative comments to heart and make some corrections. Beautiful place.

Wedding covid

When I initially toward this venue. I fell in love. It was also the only venue I looked at. At the initial showing they told us how if we had less than 150 people we could use their dishes and plates for free. Also because of Covid we could have the doors open to allow airflow. One of the negative things was that you couldn’t get onto the property until 10 o’clock. Now any person that likes a plan ahead knows that’s pretty late in the day to set things up for a wedding and I had an evening wedding which started at six. I’ve had my wedding book 6 months in advance . Every time I texted or called them about a question they said they would get back with me and they never did I would have to call them multiple times we need a few days in between because I have anxiety I don’t want to be rude in order to get an answer. I honestly didn’t know who I was talking to because they were two people that would answer the phone or text. Two weeks before the wedding day drop the bomb shell that they were going to charge $250 for it to use their dishes. I mean I understand if they want to put a breakage fee on it but they already promised me that I could use it so to spring that on a bride so close to the wedding date when they’re already spending thousands of dollars is unacceptable. I also try to blame the person I hired to cater as being responsible to tell me about this new fee and that is not acceptable either because it is not their job to tell me it is the venues job. They also told me I could have the doors open because it would affect the feel of the venue. They had a look if they wanted to keep that look. Regardless of the potential Covid risk. Sidenote we checked peoples temperatures before they entered and we asked our guests to wear masks. We planned for 70 people and only 40 attended. I honestly tell people do not book this venue without looking at others first. and I say that as a tired exhausted bride. For spending almost $6000 on a venue, you don’t get much. I would pick a venue where you get more bang for your buck. For $6000 you get venue, table, chairs, and a big kitchen.
