Our wedding reception was absolutely perfect. The venue didn't look like much before it was set up, but once the tables and chairs were set up and the lights were turned down it was just beautiful. My bridesmaids were allowed to come in and decorate at 8am the day of the wedding for the reception that started at 6pm so they had plenty of time. Eddie, the manager, came to check on us a few times during the reception and even cut up our cake for us and passed out the pieces. The staff was attentive but out of the way. I can't say enough about the food. It was to die for! We decided to do heavy hours d'oeuvres and I was worried that we wouldn't have enough food for everyone. Eddie assured me that I had plenty and even suggested I cut some things. He saved me money and I did have more than enough food. We had several boxes to take home with us. The bacon wrapped scallops, petite beef wellington, and sushi were crowd favorites. Several people said it was the best reception they had been to.

Casey was very helpful making sure everything was ready to go for our special day and the staff were great.

When we lived in Florida this was a place I set up for our Christmas party, so when it was our son's wedding rehearsal dinner this Oct 11th, 2013, my husband said only the best!
I contacted Eddie Batts (manager) what a pleasure it was to work with Eddie.He made the event so easy.
In July we went down to taste test the food selection with the bride to be and groom to be and her parents. Eddie had a table for us ready to taste our ,Perfect and delicious were the choices we wanted to try. We tried to chicken dishes, Porkloin dish, and 3 seafood plates. The portions were awesome and never expected such a nice presentation. We settled on the demi glaze porkloin (awesome), seafood casserole (awesome), bacon wrapped shrimp (awesome) and delicious maui maui for a 55 person adult buffet as well as a child's buffet for 13 which consisted of chicken tenders, mac and cheese and choc chip cookies. Eddie brought the chef and introduced him to us @ our event. He was gracious and did a fine presentation of all the main and sides to the buffet. The serving staff was attentive, friendly and professional..You won't go wrong in choosing the Shrimpboat!
