  We love Igor!

  We researched for hours trying to find a photographer that did weddings in Joshua Tree, but found that a lot of them did "bohemian" weddings and used a lot of weird vintage-y looking filters on all of their work which really wasn't our vibe. BUT then we cam across Shalom Imaginative & fell in love instantly! After lots of stalking of their work we found that we loved Igor's documentary style the most. Igor's photos were all amazing. All of our family & friends said our photographer was really great. Igor was super friendly and put us to ease (which was hard because we aren't very good picture people) and we loved his sense of humor. Hands down, 100% recommend Igor & Shalom Imaginative!

  Nate and Amanda are some of the absolute best! Nate documented our proposal (the day it happened!) and as soon as we got a few proofs back, I immediately knew they had to to our wedding! They are located in CA, but thankfully we were able to fly Nate out for our wedding in Philadelphia! Their style is soft, clean, and crisp. We are SO happy with our wedding images and can't wait to look at them over and over!

  We LOVE The Shalom Imaginative! Trying to find a photographer felt very daunting, but once we saw their more documentary style, we knew it would be a great fit. Nate and team made every aspect of the planning process so easy. They were always available for any questions we had in the lead up to our wedding. Vanessa, our photographer, was absolutely stellar! She made us feel so at ease in front of the camera and made all the pre-wedding photos such a fun experience. During the ceremony and reception/dancing, she was everywhere capturing moments.   Made us look cool and feel comfortable

  We specifically sought out The Shalom Imaginative, and especially Nate, for our wedding photography because we love the studio’s style of candid event photography. We wanted to make sure that we ended up with pictures of everyone enjoying our wedding rather than hundreds of identical-looking, highly-staged photos. Neither of us really like to be the center of attention, and the one thing we wanted to make sure of was that we didn’t end up feeling like we had to act or perform for the camera on our wedding day. The entire time, Nate made us feel heard, and he made our vision for photography even better than we imagined, delivering exactly what we’d hoped for and more. That said, if you go into wanting a more candid feel, make sure you are okay with more candid results! Especially if you are always closing your eyes in pictures.

  Hire The Shalom Imaginative ASAP!!

  The Shalom Imaginative went above and beyond to capture our wedding day the exact way we wanted on both film and digital. From their instagram account and website galleries we immediately knew that we wanted to hire them, we didn't reach out to anyone else. We actually didn't meet Vanessa until the morning of our wedding but it wasn't a problem at all -- she was immediately so warm, professional, and chill and just fit right in with everyone. Before the ceremony itself, we had a massive getting ready party with the brides-and-grooms-people all present, plus both of our families.   The Shalom Imaginative went above and beyond to capture our wedding day the exact way we wanted on both film and digital. Vanessa effortlessly captured everyone and everything even though it was just her shooting throughout the whole day. Vanessa rolled with all last-minute changes and on-the-fly pivots like a true professional. We got our preview just 2 days after our wedding which was such a gift. And the final results were better than we even expected: relaxed, candid, artistic, natural and totally us.

  Nate was great! We loved the pictures!

  We received our pictures and loved the results. On the day of the wedding, Nate was great in communicating what he needed, and what we wanted on last-minute changes. Everything turned on great as we expected from their portfolio and highly recommend them!

  We are so happy with our wedding photos. They turned out incredible. Igor was an amazing photographer who captured beautiful candid moments and beautiful details of our wedding. Couldn’t recommend this team enough.

  We loved working with Shalom Imaginative on our wedding day! our photographer for the day was Igor, and he did not disappoint. He went out of his way to truly capture our day and our photos ended up insanely beautiful. Meeting with Nate + Liz was so easy- they really helped us shape what we wanted out of the day and were consistent with communication leading up to the day. Such an great team ❤️

  Unique and Natural Photos Capturing Our Day

  We chose the Shalom Imaginative because we wanted documentary photos for our wedding rather than cliche staged photos. Igor was our photographer and he was funny and made us feel at ease. The photos themselves are fantastic and exactly what I wanted. We thought the price was reasonable and we are very pleased with the photos that truly captured the day.

We had easy communication via email and phone and he made the services offered and price quotes very easy to understand. Nate and Amanda’s photography are the BEST in Southern California. Their photo and video packages are absolutely worth every penny. Stop looking now and request more information! They do everything to make you’re your photos capture every special moment!
