My daughters wedding as a weekend event

The location and staff helped make my daughters wedding a huge success. Family from Fla, Texas, Virginia, and Rochester NY, we able to spend both nights as a wedding destination. Seven Hills October beauty gave us a relaxed experience with breakfast each day, movies on a projector, a fire pits outside made the event memorable, thank you Seven Hills!

Beautiful venue in the Berkshires!

I'm in the process of planning my wedding at the Inn, and so far my experience has been wonderful! The wedding coordinator, Cassandra, is very responsive, warm, and accommodating. The inn itself is the perfect location for us, it is set on enormous, beautifully maintained grounds with an outdoor heated pool, lawn games and lovely sitting areas. Through renovations the inn has maintained a gorgeous old world charm, which I think will be perfect for our wedding pictures. The guest rooms have been updated and feel modern and comfortable. Overall we are thrilled to have found this venue for our wedding and I can't wait to get married there!

Seven Hills Inn

We had a great experience at Seven Hills Inn for my daughters wedding. To start it is fully renovated and the guest rooms and the common rooms are beautiful. We were there for two nights and we were so comfortable and felt so welcomed. All of the staff was more than accommodating! When we were asked at check out what we would change we could honestly say nothing.

As I told Robin and Denis at the end of a whirlwind day, our wedding at Seven Hills Inn was "magical." I am a planner by nature and a true Type A personality, so I knew right after meeting with Robin that her style would suit me perfectly - she is detail-oriented, runs a tight ship and strives for nothing less than perfection. Between that and the gorgeous grounds and facilities of Seven Hills, it was a no-brainer to host our wedding weekend there. Our number one priority was to provide accommodation for all of our guests right at the venue, and to create the feeling of a weekend retreat, family reunion and celebration all rolled into one. Seven Hills is perfect for this, with enough conversation pits and softly lit rooms to feel cozy, and yet a sprawling lawn and grounds so that no one feels on top of each other. The ceremony spot sealed the deal, and despite the low 50's temperature on our wedding day, we got married outside in front of the most beautiful backdrop that nature could deliver.

I had many questions throughout the 14 months of planning, and Robin answered them all. She has a thorough system to plan every minute of your wedding weekend so that by the time the weekend actually approaches, everything runs seamlessly (and if an occasional hiccup occurs, she takes care of it before you even know it happened).

We were slightly apprehensive about the idea of having our reception hosted in several different gathering rooms, but we ended up loving the transition of cocktails at the bar and throughout the main rooms, to dinner in the Banquet Room, and finishing with dancing in the Music Room. Our guests loved it as well - and those that stayed overnight raved about breakfast each morning. There's not much more to say, other than I can't recommend enough having your wedding at Seven Hills Inn. It was above and beyond the happiest day of our lives, and we have Robin, Denis and their lovely staff to thank for everything they did to make it perfect.

We decided to have our wedding at the Seven Hills Inn after a great initial meeting with Robin, the owner. In addition to loving the property and the idea of having it to ourselves for a weekend, we were so impressed by Robin’s organization and her passion for her Inn and her work. Our wedding weekend went perfectly, mostly due to Robin and her husband Denis. They coordinated every aspect of the weekend and worked tirelessly to make sure that we and our guests had everything we needed. They took care of all the little details and kept our wedding running smoothly. Even in the midst of all of their hard work, they made the effort to get to know us and our families. The Seven Hills is an excellent choice for a wedding venue, because the home and grounds are beautiful (and having guests stay on site is an added bonus). We really feel that Robin, Denis, and Bobbie made the experience perfect - we can’t recommend them enough!

I had my 6/24/17 wedding ceremony and reception at the Seven Hills Inn and it was absolutely perfect. The owners, Robin and Dennis, are total professionals who will make you and your guests feel at home while coordinating all the details of your event in order to make your wedding stress-free. I honestly have no idea how I would've planned such a perfect weekend without Robin's help and expertise. Additionally, the property (both indoors and outdoors) is gorgeous and the staff is amazing - special thanks to bartenders Michael and Kathleen! Most of our guests stayed at the inn (we took up the whole place - such a value) and they loved it. I can't recommend this venue enough.

Seven Hills Inn provided the perfect venue for our son's wedding in mid-September! He and his spouse selected it for several reasons. One priority was to have a location where their wedding would be the only event over the weekend. The Inn had sufficient guest rooms to accommodate all but a few of their 115 guests. In this way, Dan & Niko and their guests enjoyed the intimacy of a venue where people could use the entire site to relax, reconnect, and celebrate. The Inn, a 1930s manor house, and its grounds provided a beautiful backdrop for the outdoor wedding ceremony. The green grass and small, rolling hills were complemented by the cranberry hydrangea trees and other plantings. Had the weather been unfavorable, there is a charming parlor room that would have served as the ceremony site.

Robin and Denis Wong, the owners of Seven Hills Inn, impressed Dan & Niko from their initial meeting with their experience and warm, friendly manner. Significantly, Robin and Denis were flexible and willing to work with them - even when it came to an unprecedented room arrangement. They helped orchestrate the various on-site events, including the rehearsal, and took care of the actual running of the wedding with a calm presence that reassured all of us that we were in very capable hands. Here's an example of how they went the extra mile: When the clergy's car broke down 25 miles from the venue with the ceremony time rapidly approaching, Denis generously offered to pick him up!

The rooms and the entire Inn were exceptionally clean and attractive. The hot breakfast was delicious and very satisfying. All of the staff members worked efficiently and unobtrusively.

We thoroughly enjoyed the wedding weekend at Seven Hills Inn! If you want a lovely Berkshires location for an upcoming wedding, please contact Robin and Denis. You will be happy that you did!

Our daughter's wedding at Seven Hills was beyond anything we had hoped for! This was the perfect venue for a Berkshire County wedding! The inn itself is exquisite. Each room is unique and beautifully decorated. The main manor, where the reception was held, has separate rooms for dining and dancing, mingling common spaces and a lovely stone terrace overlooking green lawns. Our guests told us it was a fairytale setting. The innkeepers, Robin and Denis Wong, treated everyone like family, and carefully orchestrated the entire weekend with skill and love. With such a gorgeous setting and wonderful people to work with, we look back at this wedding with complete happiness. I would give Seven Hills 10 stars!

We had our daughter's wedding at Seven Hills Inn the 3rd weekend of October. It was, in my daughter's words, "perfect". And, I couldn't agree more. From the time that we arrived on Friday until we checked out on Sunday, Robin, Denis and their staff took care of all of the details. When Robin said "don't worry, we'll take care of that", she did. We were able to relax and fully enjoy the wedding and all other activities of the weekend.

I highly recommend the Seven Hills Inn.

My husband and I had looked at a number of venues for our wedding, but we basically knew once we visited the Seven Hills Inn that we had a venue that was perfect for us and a coordinator we could trust and enjoy working with. Robin and her husband Denis are amazing people, and they care deeply about making sure each wedding goes exactly as it should. The manor itself was very beatiful inside and out, with an expansive lawn and wooded ceremony area, and lovely interior furnishings. We also loved the fact that most of our guests could stay at the onsite accommodations and that we had the place to ourselves for the weekend. It made for a very intimate atmosphere, even with a guest count of 120.

We had the honor of being the first male same-sex wedding at the Seven Hills Inn (although a few female couples had married there before us). This meant more thought had to be given to the ceremony logistics, etc, which Robin did with great sensitivity. My husband is German and a good number of his family members were able to fly in, including his five-year-old nephew who only speaks German. Robin went out of the way to not only find a babysitter for him, but one who speaks German! Given that we were in the rural Berkshires, we were very impressed that she offered (and was able) to do this!

On the wedding day, our officiant was supposed to arrive with ample time before the ceremony, but unfortunately his car broke down on the Mass Pike 25 miles away. Denis took the initiative to pick him up and bring him to the venue just in time for the ceremony, coming to the rescue for us.

This was such a memorable weekend at the Seven Hills Inn, and we received many compliments on the venue and its hospitality. We highly recommend that anyone considering having a wedding in the Berkshires check it out and have Robin show you around! You won't be disappointed.

Seven Hills was the perfect match for our 3 day wedding weekend that became a glorious fairytale. Our love of antiques,historic stately homes and nature combined with the warmth and caring of the owners, Robin and Denis and staff ensured a seamless event. All our guests were thrilled with the convenience of staying on the premises without worrying about finding their way late at night or the need to designate a driver. We were thrilled with the many options to choose within the venue for each day's events. ..a music room, a patio, terraced lawn, Ballroom, 75 foot Living Room, dining room, smaller cozy meeting areas for private conversation. The charm is that people could move freely throughout the entire first floor,backyard and patio as if it were their own home. The beauty of choosing Seven Hills....you get Robin and Denis whose experience and attention to every detail leaves no stone unturned. They even helped coordinate the caterer,florist, photographer, minister,bartenders, multiple bands and musicians ...no small task! We decided to hold the dining and dancing with a 7 piece band in the Ballroom with 140 people. We even stayed an extra day so we could relax on the patio with other good friends who also chose to enjoy another day.Everyone of the Seven Hills staff worked together with the many vendors to satisfy all our guest's needs and wants.The bandleaders and photographers said they had never attended an affair at which the people had more fun or felt more love.Together with Robin and Denis Wong they all helped to make the entire weekend truly remarkable and created a lifetime of beautiful memories that will forever be sublime

We had a wonderful wedding at Seven Hills Inn! Having the inn to ourselves, the wedding felt almost like a big family and friend reunion, making the weekend all the more special and unique. We could set up lawn games outside, board games inside, and family photos around the mansion to make the place feel like home. At one point in the night we were all hanging out in front of the fireplace in our pajamas just chatting and listening to music - having the place to ourselves made everything seem personal and intimate and our guests loved it.

Everything ran very smoothly the day of and throughout the weekend, thanks to Robin, Denis and their staff. Having somebody like Robin who is really invested in your wedding and will do everything she can to make the day go smoothly is very special. If you have a slightly different or offbeat style like we did, she will work with you and your vision even if it occasionally conflicts with her usual way of doing things =) And Denis is such a kind and gracious host and will make you feel immediately welcomed.

This was a great venue for our ceremony, reception and welcome picnic the night before. And its in one of the most beautiful areas of the Berkshires. We highly recommend it!

When we booked our wedding at Seven Hills my fiancee and I knew it was a beautiful location with all the space we would need to accommodate our entire guest list. What we didn't know at the time was that we would gain a wonderful wedding planner in the bargain. Robin was so extremely helpful in making sure our day went off without a hitch, providing us with vendors to help prepare the day, running our rehearsal, checking in with us and our guests regularly to ensure that we had everything we needed and that everyone was having a marvelous time. She and her husband were so generous and thoughtful on this most important occasion and really were vital in making our wedding weekend absolutely perfect.

In the lead up to the event we had the pleasure of staying as guests several times at the Inn and were always treated well - the amenities in every room (Manor, Terrace and Carriage House) were top notch and the staff was always friendly and attentive to our needs. My wife (!) and I look forward to coming back anytime we are in the area, and can't recommend this charming hotel highly enough.

Our experience with the Seven Hills Inn was fantastic from start to finish. The Inn is breathtakingly elegant and homey as well. The property is beautiful, with the most perfect outdoor ceremony site we saw in all our venue visits. We had our ceremony and reception on site, which made our day so easy to plan and not to mention beautiful in every way!

Robin and Dennis, the owners, are fabulous to work with. They are so kind and accommodating and helped us with everything we needed. Robin coordinated with our vendors so that on the day of the wedding we didn't have to worry about any details-- everything just went smoothly. It was like having a built-in wedding coordinator. The Inn staff are just as kind and helpful. And because the Inn gave us the chance to book all the rooms for our guests, we had the place to ourselves for the weekend. It was our private wedding resort!

Everyone raved about our wedding and about the beautiful setting. Our guests were able to relax on the property and swim, hike and play lawn games to make it a nice weekend getaway. Robin and Dennis ensured our ceremony went off without a hitch, even with the threat of a storm coming in. Dinner and dancing were perfect and having guests stay on site was so convenient. Honestly it was everything we wanted, and at a price that is very reasonable compared to other venues in the area. We are so glad we had our wedding at Seven Hills and would recommend it 100% to anyone looking for a classic, beautiful, and convenient venue and a perfect wedding!

Seven Hills was the venue we selected for our daughter's wedding. Dennis and Robin were so accommodating and flexible. The Manor was beautiful, filled with antiques. All of our out of town guests stayed at the Inn, and and we filled the Inn. All weekend was fun (pool, lawn games etc. ). Robin worked with all of our vendors (Photos, flowers, food, music) and it made the wedding easy for us. Not only did Robin efficiently comply with all our requests, she anticipated,our needs and offered suggestions to make things go smoother. All of our guests raved about the venue and asked how we found 7 Hills. We could not be more pleased with the venue and staff.

Our daughter had her wedding at The Seven Hills Inn in Lenox this past weekend, and everything about the weekend was perfect. The Innkeepers, Robin and Denis, and their staff, were amazingly helpful. You don’t need a “day of” Wedding Planner. Robin does it all, from coordinating the vendors, to coordinating her staff, to choreographing the ceremony.

The site is beautiful, but it also satisfied several of our daughter’s rather difficult criteria. She wanted a site that was dedicated to her wedding. Most of the places we looked at hold multiple weddings during a single weekend and are open to the general public, which means random people meander through the wedding space. We had Seven Hills all to ourselves for the entire three-day weekend. Many of the sites we looked at limit the wedding party to specific rooms at specific times. She wanted a site where people could congregate, play board games, play outdoor games, and generally feel like they were visiting a home away from home. We were allowed to do all of this. The families and guests got to know one another. She also wanted a site that could accommodate not only the more well-heeled guests but also her friends who were more budget conscious. This Inn is unique in that, in addition to its upscale Manor and Carriage House, it has a motel component, tucked into the trees and overlooking the expanse of lawn, that is very reasonably priced. The other places we looked at would have accommodated parents’ friends, but our daughter's friends would have to be bused in from other hotels.

We had beautiful, sunny weather, so we were able to have the wedding outdoors. The Inn, however, is ideally suited for both indoor and outdoor weddings, which took a lot of worry out of the weather forecast. We will cherish these memories. If you are looking for a wedding venue in the Berkshires, it would be hard to do better than the Seven Hills Inn.

From the moment I stepped into Robin's doors at the Seven Hills in she made me feel welcome and confident that she would make my wedding weekend the best that it could be. Robin and her staff are professional, down to earth, and fun. The service is outstanding at the Seven Hills Inn. The venue is beautiful and so are the rooms. Robin was accommodating and was the perfect liason between all of my vendors. She is also very quick to easy to get in touch with, by her choice, not because she feels obligated. My husband and I were very happy with our experience. We truly felt "at home" the whole weekend and so did our guests. 5 Stars for everything, but especially for Robin. Hosting weddings is a labor of love for her and this shines through the entire experience with her.

We were married at Seven Hills Inn last weekend - from start to finish I couldn't have been happier with my experience. The property is beautiful, and I loved that it was just us and our guests there celebrating for the weekend. It felt like a big family reunion. A lot of our friends were visiting the Berkshires for the first time and I'm so happy Seven Hills was the place to welcome them.

Robin and her team are amazing: helpful, organized, sweet, and great at what they do. Planning from out of town, I felt totally comfortable knowing that with Robin's help everything would go smoothly. She was very responsive to all my emails and questions, and provided me with a planning document that we went over in our final meeting to make sure all the final details were settled (in fact, some of my other friends getting married this year asked if they could use it since their own wedding planners are not as organized as Robin!). The rehearsal and day-of went so smoothly - thank you Robin!

The space works well for a wedding of our size (150) - ceremony on the back lawn, cocktail hour on the patio, dinner in the banquet room, and back to the music room for dancing. Dinner almost felt intimate, since the room is smaller than it would be if you had dinner and dancing in the same room - no one feels too far away. In the case of rain, you have a good backup plan to have a ceremony in the living room. With unpredictable New England weather this is one less thing to worry about. Since the whole property is reserved for your wedding, we were able to decorate the living and dining room with family photos, flowers, and candles. I think our family and friends liked being able to mingle throughout the different spaces and catch up. Overall, the wedding turned out more amazing than I ever expected, and Seven Hills was the best choice we made in our planning.

We got married at Seven Hills Inn in June 2014 and had 150 guests.

Our experience exceeded all our expectations. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. The rooms were also very clean and comfortable. The manor house rooms are all beautiful and uniquely designed. The carriage house is great for families and the Terrace has additional, yet simple, accommodations

We stayed, as did most of our guests, Friday - Sunday and it felt as if Seven Hills became our (elegant) home for the entire weekend. I would highly recommend Seven Hills for the rehearsal dinner, wedding ceremony, reception ( we used SOMA catering for rehearsal dinner bbq and reception -- both delicious) and brunch (done by Seven Hills and also delish!). Robin worked with us to source Berkshire craft beer (Barrington Brewery - highly recommend for a cool Berkshire touch) and the wines (rose and prosecco).

We did our own flowers and set them up in mason jars as centerpieces in the dining hall and throughout Seven Hills. The wildflowers were from Taft Farm and gorgeous. If you are going DIY / on a budget - be sure to source your flowers from Taft. Sue at Taft was incredible. We got 20 buckets of mixed wildflowers that were in season (you will need to pick them up and do arrangements -- so enlist friends to do this), but the quality was far superior to any florist and much less expensive.

The ceremony location at Seven Hills is beautiful, use the patio for the cocktail hour and we loved that the dining area is separate from the music room, which is where the dance party happens. The music room also has a full bar to keep the party going

We booked rooms at the nearby Apple Tree Inn for our guests and provided a shuttle. Highly recommend this as a backup if all your guests can't fit at Seven Hills.

Robin, Dennis and Amy are a great team. They have a great sense of how to maximize the venue and create a tremendous experience for the happy couple, their families and all the guests.

From the first moment Ron and I drove up to the Seven Hills Inn, we knew it was special. As we walked in the large wooden door, the inside was just as spectacular. Robin, the Innkeeper, walked us through the Inn and showed us, based on our needs for our wedding, where she thought various events could take place. Ron and I knew that we wanted a classic New England style to the setting of our marriage, and the Seven Hills Inn gave that to us. The antique furniture, the beautiful fireplaces, the large open back yard, the gorgeous hard wood floors screamed out that this was the place for us. Even better was the fact that we had family traveling in from all over the world for the affair, and they could stay right on the grounds. The nice thing that Robin and Denis offer is the entire weekend just for your wedding. There are no other weddings taking place, and you can use the grounds as you need to for your weekend.

We were recently married in November at the Seven Hills Inn, and are absolutely thrilled with the whole experience.
This is a beautiful gilded age inn run by a very sweet, energetic, and attentive couple, Robin and Denis. Robin will work with you every step of the way to be sure your wedding is just right. Robin understands all the timing and was always there to direct the flow of events. With her longtime theater experience, she compares it to running a show that she wants to be flawless, and she very much nails it. Robin also has your list of vendors and when you’re getting close to the big day, she starts working with them on her own to be sure everything is all worked out logistically. (You can’t believe how helpful this is the week or two before the wedding when your head is spinning with details.)
Our ceremony, cocktail hour, wedding party entrance, dinner, speeches, and cake cutting all went beautifully thanks to Robin and her staff. They told us what to do and made sure the wedding party was comfortable at all times. If anything was problematic or there was an issue that day, we heard nothing about it – exactly what we wanted. In addition, the Manor House and grounds provide a great backdrop for all manner of formal/informal photos.
As we were told by one of our vendors, Seven Hills is the best value in the Berkshires. We know it’s true. Several friends and family members told us it was the best wedding they’d ever attended, and we’re even talking about going back for a wedding reunion. We got married in June 2011 at the Seven Hills Inn & couldn't have been happier w/the venue, Robin & Denis. From the moment we met with Robin we knew that we were in good hands. She took over the Inn a few years back & poured her heart & soul into renovating it and making it a truly special place. We live in CA and our family is all on the East Coast so when we saw the website we weren't sure what to expect and when we arrived (on a rainy day in April) we were pleasantly surprised at how lush and bright the space was despite the weather. We really wanted a destination for our guests to spend a weekend and the fact that Robin gives you full reign & exclusive use of the Inn was a great selling point for us. We filled the Inn with all our friends & family & the whole wedding planning process was a lot of work. We didn't have a wedding planner so our moms helped us as much as possible but we give Robin a lot of credit for making the wedding day run smoothly. She goes above & beyond to make your day special & guiding you through the schedule of events & listening to what you want. She really makes that special day be as stress-free & enjoyable for the couple as possible. We woke up on the day of the wedding, the sun was shining bright & it was an absolutely gorgeous day. Our reception was a blast. We had a Jewish/Latin wedding & we incorporated both of our cultures so our guests were thrilled with all the little details (Spanish&Hebrew in the ceremony, serving latkes and empanadas, dancing to the hora, & doing a choreographed salsa number as our first dance) it really set the tone & we partied it up with our loved ones. It was truly magnificent. Working with Robin was such a pleasure. She really made Seven Hills feel like our home. We are so lucky to have booked our wedding here. All our guests raved about the wknd & we succeeded in giving our guests an action packed party weekend to celebrate one of the most important days of our lives.

Our daughter and her fiancé chose Seven Hills for an October destination wedding for 165 family and friends who were coming mostly from Boston, New York, and Philadelphia. The wedding weekend started Friday night and ended Monday morning. There were separate rooms for the wedding dinner, dancing, and talking, which we enjoyed. The 100 year old “Berkshire Cottage” has been beautifully restored with lovely grounds for an outdoor ceremony and beautiful accommodations for about half our guests. Since we filled the entire Inn everyone in our wedding party was able to connect with friends and relatives throughout the weekend and enjoy breakfasts and dinners together. The surrounding towns have many cultural and historic places to visit and we coordinated several visits for our guests to attractions in the area. Owners Robin and Denis have a lot of experience coordinating weddings, and were flexible enough to let us create the event we wanted. Our caterer, Soma Catering in Richmond MA, exceeded our expectations for both the rehearsal buffet dinner and plated wedding dinner.

"I was pleased and proud to host my daughter's wedding at Seven Hills Inn in September! In this beautiful setting Seven Hills has the warm ambiance of a fine country inn. Robin and Denis Wong, the propriators, are warm, professional and accomodating as is their staff. Robin's attention to detail and experienced hand resulted in a stress free wedding that was just perfect. It couldn't have been any easier or smoother. One of the reasons we choose Seven Hills is because so many guests could stay on the property (44 rooms I believe). The inn is very clean, the common areas are decorated beautifully, the bedrooms are quite nice each having its own style. Breakfast was substantial and very good. We certainly chose the right venue for a fabulous wedding weekend."

From start to finish, Robin and Denis Wong and their staff did an exceptional job. The space was beautiful, and they were wonderfully professional. Robin personally contacted each of our vendors to make sure they would be there on time and that they had everything they needed, and we didn't have a thing to worry about during our rehearsal dinner (which we held onsite) or during the wedding itself. Although the weather was beautiful, the ground was wet from all the recent storms, and Denis spent part of his Saturday locating tarps so that the guests would not be in the mud during the outdoor ceremony. And, when we inadvertently forgot the ringbearer's pillow, Robin was there with a substitute in 5 minutes. Our family stayed in the Manor House, and everyone was delighted with the beauty of their rooms and the included breakfasts. It was such a treat to have the Inn to ourselves for the weekend. I would highly recommend the Seven Hills Inn as either a hotel or an event venue.

My wife and I were married at the Seven Hills Inn a few years ago. It's a fine place to get married: lots of charm, and owners Robin and Denis were great to work with. As part of the package, we booked the entire property for the weekend and filled it with our friends and family -- the comments were unanimously favorable. Bottom line, we have a lot of fond memories thanks to the Inn and its staff, and we'll be back again next time we're in the area.

We booked Seven Hills Inn with Robin and had frequent contact with Robin over the 13 months. Robin and Mr. Wong were so incredible to work with, Robin promised the world to us, and each time we doubted her, but she always came through and gave us (almost) everything we wanted. She treated us like her own children and we turned the Inn into our home for the weekend. We had all of our guests stay at the Inn for two nights and decorated the Inn with family pictures everywhere, it was beautiful! Robin is not only the Inn keeper, she also acts as a wedding planner and takes out all of the stress of the wedding day, she is organized and responsive and even contacted each and every vendor beforehand to confirm everything was all set. We had the best weather, the garden was well manicured and Terry, the housekeeper, made the Inn sparkle. Because of Robin, Amy, at the front desk, and the rest her incredible team we had the most amazing weekend of our lives and so did all of our guests! I would highly recommend Seven Hills Inn.

We toured so many venues while planning our wedding that we actually ended up driving our car right into the shop! So much touring! When we first saw Seven Hills it was pouring and dreary and still, we knew. This was it! The feel of the place, the staff, the beautiful rooms all spoke to us. We went on to revisit a couple of times over the course of a year while planning and only have wonderful things to say. Robin, Denis and their staff are such warm, loving and helpful people. You can tell that they genuinely love what they are doing with their lives! We were nervous about the weather on the big day as we had seen some flurries on and off in the few days before but we lucked out. Sunday April 29th was only a little bit chilly with a strong bright sun warming up the whole great big lawn. Our outdoor ceremony went off without a hitch and everyone was so happy! The party moved inside and everyone had a blast. Having the whole place full of friends and family for the weekend was the most amazing way I could imagine a wedding. Everyone loved it. The vendors that Robin recommended were fabulous as well! Our food was delicious. Our DJ was cool enough that we wish we lived closer to just hang out with him. And we even had Ben & Jerry's set up a cart. Our dog had a blast running around on the lawn. Our son had a wonderful time and felt like he owned the place because he felt so welcomed and comfortable. While not necessarily the most important detail- it is absolutely noteworthy that the breakfasts (particularly the BACON!) were nothing short of amazing! Can't wait to return for our anniversary weekend.

We wanted our wedding somewhere where we could bring together all our family and friends for a weekend to relax, play, celebrate AND have a beautiful ceremony. Seven Hills Inn is that place and uniquely so. We took over the entire Inn for Labor Day weekend and the beauty of the estate allowed us and our guests to feel transported and away from the rest of the world, but also relaxed like it was our home, without any stuffiness. We even had 20 kids running around all weekend! The weekend was full of games, music, food, and hanging out at the pool, on the lawn, and throughout the Inn’s many rooms and spaces. The back lawn is a spectacular spot for a wedding ceremony – we were surrounded by hydrangeas and the stunning woods behind us, which was also where we took our wedding portraits. We had our rehearsal dinner on the back lawn and patio where we opted for a lobster bake, complete with an ice cream Sundae bar and glow sticks! The banquet room was perfect for the wedding dinner and the music room – with its art deco style – made a fun and classy space for dancing the night away.
The main living room was a perfect lounge area and the heart of the weekend. There was even a marathon poker game in the library. What makes Seven Hills special is not just its physical beauty (the Inn is kept up to the highest standards), it is the owners, Robin and Dennis Wong, and the wonderful staff they have put together. From the first moment we met with Robin, we felt well taken care of and this lasts throughout your entire experience, from pre-wedding planning through to very last moment. Robin’s background in theater, combined with her enthusiasm for weddings and events, means that you essentially get a wedding planner extraordinaire! We could not recommend Seven Hills Inn highly enough! And it is definitely going to be a vacation destination.

We had an amazing wedding weekend at Seven Hills Inn! Some highlights include

Staff: Owners Robin & Denis Wong are a phenom team. Manager Amy and the rest of the staff are also outstanding. From our first meeting we felt so well taken care of. Having Robin as our coordinator was a huge bonus. She contacted all our vendors before the wedding and took us through a very valuable questionnaire that insured we didn't forget any details and she knew everything about the weekend. I cannot stress enough the value and importance of this service plus the helpful and friendly staff.

Location: Gorgeous grounds, impeccable interiors, great location for your guests to start their Berkshires explorations.

Accommodations: Offering 44 rooms for our guests to stay in was wonderful. It was like dual family and friend reunions all weekend. The Manor House and Carriage House rooms are full of charm; the Terrace Motel rooms are cozy and so clean. Our guests loved staying on grounds! Plus the hot breakfasts each morning were a great bonus!

Overall, Seven Hills was our ideal wedding venue. Our guests were enchanted by the location, Robin & Denis went above and beyond, all our requests were easily accommodated, and we would highly recommend booking your wedding here.

Our daughter was married this spring at Seven Hills Inn in Lenox, Massachusetts. The wedding was absolutely beautiful and everything we had envisioned it to be. Seven Hills is a charming Victorian manor surrounded by lovely landscaped grounds. The Inn includes the Manor, Carriage House, and Terrace Country Motel, which we reserved for the weekend for the wedding party and guests, many of whom were from out of state.

The weekend event was a great success due in large part to the Innkeepers, Robin and Denis. Robin’s professional expertise in helping to coordinate the event made for a weekend full of fond memories. She and her staff were a pleasure to work with. The peaceful and serene surroundings were enjoyed by our guests and were perfect for the gorgeous outdoor ceremony. We appreciate Robin’s recommendations of vendors who we found to be very professional and accommodating.

We have received numerous compliments on every aspect of the weekend—the Inn; it’s idyllic location in the Berkshires, and the friendly and helpful staff. We would highly recommend Seven Hills Inn to anyone planning a special event or just a weekend getaway. We are certainly glad we chose Seven Hills.

Seven Hills Inn is an amazing, beautiful, and unique venue and we are so happy we had our wedding there. Many of our friends and family don't live near us and almost everyone had to travel to our wedding, so we made it a weekend-long event. We had an open rehearsal dinner on Friday and the wedding on Saturday - all at Seven Hills. Our guests booked every room on the property and because it's a B&B, there was a brunch with everyone on Saturday and Sunday. It felt like nonstop celebration the whole weekend. We stayed in the Manor House with our entire wedding party, which was SO much fun. It felt like a huge sleepover party with all our best friends!

The venue itself is gorgeous, romantic, and filled with charm. The owners, Robin and Dennis, have done an amazing job restoring the mansion and have decorated with lovely and unique antique pieces. The grounds are breathtaking and landscaped beautifully. We were hoping to have our wedding outside, but it rained. Thankfully Seven Hills is a beautiful venue inside and out, so it was still wonderful.

Robin and Denise are organized, helpful, kind and just all around wonderful people. Robin helped us throughout the planning process, giving us great recommendations for vendors, suggesting colors that work well with the venue, and answering any little question we had. Before the wedding, she went over every detail with us and contacted all our vendors. She had everything under control that weekend from the rehearsal through the Sunday brunch. Robin was there for us for anything we needed – she even gave me her own hairspray at one point. Because of her, Dennis, and the wonderful Seven Hills staff, not a single thing went wrong the entire weekend and we were able to relax and enjoy ourselves knowing they were taking care of everything.

I would not hesitate to recommend Seven Hills to any bride or groom to be. Our wedding was better than we could have ever imagined!

My fiance and I choose to have our wedding weekend at Seven Hills and it was the best decision we could have made. Our family and friends stayed at the inn and we essentially took over the house for the weekend. Robin and Denis, the innkeepers, are absolutely wonderful and allowed us to feel as if the whole place was our home. The staff was very accommodating and friendly and by the end, we all felt like family. The house and rooms are exquisite, charming and decorated with fine taste. Robin acts as the day-of coordinator and has such attention for every detail that I had such confidence that everything would run smoothly and be perfect. It was exactly that.
When the weekend came to an end, my fiance and I didn't want to leave. Walking out, we saw an newly engaged couple arriving for a tour. We told them that they just stepped into a magical place and should look no further for a perfect wedding experience.

Such a romantic, elegant setting for a wedding. The manor and grounds take you back to a period of time. The ceremony was held in the lovely gardens and the hydrangea trees were in full bloom. It could have been held inside and been equally intimate and special. Seven Hills could accommodate the entire wedding party and all of the guest. Robin does an incredible job as does her devoted, professional staff. We could not recommend it more highly. Put it on the list of places to check out for your wedding, anniversary, birthday escape. The food was super and they are also connected to incredible caterers and resources in south county of the Berkshires.

We were married at Seven Hills and could sing its praises for the rest of our lives to anyone who would listen.
We stumbled upon the Seven Hills Inn and fell in love so quickly with the place and Robin, the innkeeper, that we changed our wedding timing to make it possible to have the wedding there. Robin treated our entire wedding, from the beginning of planning to the last moment of the reception, as if her own child were getting married.
The inn is impeccably restored - filled with sunlight and huge windows, hardwood floors, antique furniture, large gathering spaces, high ceilings, and a gigantic, terraced lawn. The ballroom in which we had our reception needed almost no decoration, and the ceremony space at the base of the lawn was beautiful in front of tall old trees. The indoor ceremony space (the parlor) would have been fine if it had rained and we were unable to have the ceremony outdoors.
We could fit almost all our guests for the weekend (110) in the rooms onsite so no one needed to drive after the reception, and the prices are the best in the Berkshires (guests were thrilled). The venue was all ours, so it was a celebration for the whole weekend.
The manor has three large function rooms, which allowed guests to mingle and wander throughout the wedding, and we never felt crowded. The guest rooms in the manor house are charming, and the separate bridal suite was perfect for getting ready and photographs.
The staff made us guests at our own wedding, coordinating details for the year leading up to the wedding and they could not have been more gracious and accommodating. We had nothing to worry about the wedding weekend other than showing up and having a wonderful time.
If we could go back and redo our entire wedding, we would not change a thing. Robin, her staff, and Seven Hills gave us the perfect wedding weekend (many of our guests told us it was the loveliest wedding they had ever attended) and we feel so very lucky to have found the place.

My husband and I were married at the Seven Hills on September 20, 2014. Our friends and family came from all over to spend the weekend with us. From the rehearsal dinner Friday night to brunch on Sunday, everything was perfect.

After looking at many venues throughout New England, I fell in love with Seven Hills Inn the minute I walked in. It is spacious and beautiful with the historical New England feel we were looking for and has beautiful grounds. Robin and her staff, particularly Amy, were incredibly helpful and responsive from the day we first toured the inn through our check out Sunday after the wedding. Robin and her husband Denis made us and our guests feel so welcome and at home all weekend, and Robin and her staff made sure we didn't have to worry about anything but having a great time! They coordinated with all the vendors and timed the various events perfectly, and accommodated all of our requests, even the last minute ones. I am still in awe at how smoothly the weekend went.

Our guests had a fantastic time, it was great having everything in one place and having the inn to ourselves all weekend. We also loved that we had the option of moving into the music room for dancing after dinner, that really got the party going.

I would not change a thing about our wedding, and the venue and its owners and staff are a huge part of that. I highly, highly recommend it to anyone considering a wedding weekend in the Berkshires.

We had our wedding at Seven Hills Inn over Columbus Day weekend and I can't say enough wonderful things about the venue. Our vision was to have a weekend surrounded by friends and family with a beautiful autumn background, and Robin and Denis delivered that with their gorgeous property. Our guests loved the openness of the venue. It was great to spend time dancing in the Music Room, but to also be able to catch some fresh air on the patio or relax on the couches in parlor. Our guests also commented that they loved that everyone staying on the property that weekend was a guest of our wedding - it led to many people introducing themselves to others and making new friends. We also enjoyed having everyone on site for not only the wedding, but also for a welcome dinner on Friday evening, lounging on the lawn, breakfasts in the Manor House, and late nights at the bar. It helped provide more time to catch up with all of our loved ones. Robin ensured a smooth flow of events during the wedding, seamlessly transitioning our guests from our outdoor ceremony, to the Music Room for cocktails, the ballroom for dinner, and back to the Music Room for dancing. Everything was perfect and I wouldn't change a thing if we had an opportunity to do it all over again!

Robin and Denis are outstanding. I could gush for pages about our experience at Seven Hills Inn and working with them. To sum it up – we are so very happy that we chose Seven Hills Inn – it made for an amazing and unforgettable weekend and our guests have raved repeatedly about the venue and the service – even years later. The grounds and the buildings at the Inn are gorgeous and extremely well maintained with very tasteful antique furniture. Robin & Dennis are very invested in the Inn and work hard (along with a wonderful staff) to make the weekend whatever you need it to be to satisfy your goals while keeping your budget in mind.

Robin is very experienced (she has worked in the wedding industry for a long time) so she can help you figure out how to organize the events of the wedding, how to time things, how to plan for your guests’ needs, etc. She keeps notes about your wishes and always returns phone calls and emails promptly. If she says that she will do something you can trust that she will follow through on that. Robin is firm and purposeful but always polite and professional, so you can definitely trust her to get things done, manage complicated family dynamics, keep track of myriad details and gracefully handle the unexpected snafus that are sure to arise at a wedding (and you won’t even hear about it). She coordinates with the caterer, the baker, the florist, the bartenders, etc. leading up to and on the day itself so that during your wedding day you are enjoying your guests and soaking up the event as opposed to running around trying to get in touch with vendors or find your checkbook or solve any problems. I completely recommend Robin and I feel firmly that the work she did was a big part of what made our wedding so magical and satisfying.

We had an absolutely amazing wedding weekend at Seven Hills Inn. We had the majority of our guests traveling from all over and everyone was able to stay all in one place at the Inn. They were able to spend much more time together as the rooms were all close and a delicious country breakfast was served for all of the guests each morning. Robin, the wedding coordinator, worked with us meticulously the whole way through and made sure we did not leave out a single detail. She has so much experience with weddings, she knew just what to expect and what needed to be done - it made the whole process a lot less stressful for us! All of the Inn staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. The venue was unbelievably beautiful - the perfect location for a wedding! Our guests could sit with a cocktail in the music room, enjoy good conversation on the couches in the parlor, or relax on the outdoor patio and gaze at the beautiful grounds. All of our photos taken on the Seven Hills property were simply breathtaking. Our guests could not have been happier and many of them reported it was the best wedding they had ever been to. We really loved our wedding weekend at Seven Hills Inn. Robin (owner and DOC) was so helpful and experienced at making everything run smooth. Her planning sheets covered every detail! It was easy for me to relax and let her (and Amy H) take over.
Our family and friends can't stop talking about the wedding and saying it was the best wedding they ever went to! (even in front of their wives!!!! haha)
It was absolutely magical and people said it just felt so romantic and like a fairy tale!
We really liked that there were enough rooms on site for most of our family and friends to stay (and other hotels only 1 mile away for overflow)

Wedding at Seven Hills Inn

Seven Hills Inn was a beautiful venue for our daughter's September wedding. The inn has recently been updated and redecorated, including all the guest rooms. The grounds and outdoor patio were beautiful. Seven Hills does not only make the wedding day itself special, the whole wedding weekend was great. When guests arrived on Friday there was plenty of space for them to socialize with family and friends. The rehearsal dinner was served on the patio and then guest were invited to join us for drinks and dessert in the music room. We had planned for an outdoor ceremony and when the weather did not cooperate the staff was great at setting things up inside and indoors worked out well. The banquet room where dinner was served was very comfortable and had a nice ambiance. The bar area was perfect for dancing. Cassandra, the event planner and her staff were very accommodating and made sure everything was taken care of. For most of our guests this was a destination wedding. They enjoyed there time in the Berkshires and being a able to stay right at the venue was appreciated. The breakfast that is included with the room was a delicious buffet. We had 155 people in attendance and I would not go any higher, especially if the wedding is indoors.

We were recently married in the Berkshires this past October and had the pleasure of having our wedding weekend at Seven Hills Inn. This is a vintage, guilded-age mansion that provides the perfect setting for a memorable wedding. For us, it was a wonderful experience, and a great location for our guests from all over New England, New York and Pennsylvania. We arrived Thursday night to get some early planning done for our guests and were greeted with welcomed arms and a very friendly staff. The Inn is owned by two gracious hosts, Robin and Denis, who take pride in providing their guests with a warm atmosphere and a fabulous experience. We kicked off our wedding weekend with a lovely breakfast served by Denis on Friday morning. It was great getting to know him while enjoying a great meal.

Seven Hills hosted our Italian themed rehearsal dinner Friday night and our ceremony and reception on Saturday. Our family and friends filled the entire Inn throughout the weekend. Our wedding party occupied the Manor rooms and Carriage House, while other guests filled the terrace rooms. During the big day on Saturday, Robin handled the coordination of our vendors--from the florist (Crocus Hale) to catering, to the band.

While the weather was unpredictable, we were able to pull off our gorgeous outside ceremony on the lawn with our 165 guests watching on as the rain held off just long enough. Dinner was then served in the ballroom and catered by the fabulous Michael Ballon of Castle Street Cafe in Great Barrington, MA. After dinner we moved in to the Music room to enjoy a night full of dancing to our outstanding band, Young Love and the Thrills. We wanted to have a beautiful and memorable fall wedding celebration in the Berkshires and we thank Robin, Denis and the Seven Hills Inn staff for making this a realization!

Soon after the engagement the bride and I went venue shopping. Although we live in Berkshire County we toured venues in Sturbridge, Amherst and Vermont. The minute we entered the Seven Hills Inn I knew this was the place for my daughter's wedding. The Inn, recently renovated, is eclectically decorated with period pieces and a few less formal touches. It is light and airy and comfortable. The attention to detail is apparent throughout the public rooms and the guest accommodations.

Robin Wong and her staff (especially Amy H.) worked diligently to create a perfect wedding weekend. Robin was very responsive to a multitude of emails and conducted tours of the Inn for the groom, his parents and several members of the family.

Over a year of planning ended the moment we checked in for the Friday rehearsal. Robin became our wedding coordinator and she was extraordinary. Every detail was attended to, every request complied with. Robin managed to organize a wedding party of 23 including 3 children. The set ups for the rehearsal dinner and reception were lovely. The Inn was our home for the weekend and we and our guests enjoyed every minute.

One last comment. Robin's husband Dennis was so charming and gracious. The Wongs are a lovely couple and we cannot thank them enough for their efforts on behalf of our children

This was an amazing venue, the people were fun and there was so much personality! Anyone can have a wedding like you see on TV, but this was a wedding like nothing I've seen before!

Excellent wedding, difficult contract

There two parts to this review: the planning process and the wedding day itself.
Planning process: Our wedding was postponed by one year due to Covid, which meant that our contract active for 2.5 years. In that time, there were many thoughtful and helpful people that worked at the Inn. However, our primary contact switched six times--this high level of turnover and changed to systems within the Inn caused by that turnover led to a lot of unnecessary confusion and difficult communication between us, SHI and our vendors. For example, our bar package changed at some point and no one told us about it until we specifically asked three weeks before the wedding. There was a generous room blocking deal that allowed our guests to stay at the Inn for a very reasonable price however, there was no online code available and many of our guests told us that they had issues with being initially overcharged when they called to book their rooms.
The vast majority of our experiences showed that the people working at Seven Hills Inn were well-intentioned and they were welcoming to us--this included a free two-night stay ahead of our wedding date to get to know the venue. We just wish that in the process the communication had been more consistent and more organized.
Our wedding weekend, however, went essentially perfectly and the grounds of the Inn were a beautiful backdrop for our celebration. Given how soon before our wedding the managers Keelyn and Cecilia took over, they did a wonderful job ensuring that the wedding met all of our expectations and went according to plan. All of our vendors had positive things to say about how the event itself went. The rooms at the Inn are beautiful and comfortable and the Edith Warton suite, where we stayed, was a great size and had great light for getting ready with my bridesmaids the morning of. We were especially thankful for the Sunday morning brunch that they provided. We didn't know how robust it would be and they pulled out all the stops with lox and bagels, quiches, fruit, pastries and coffee, which was plenty for our guests to enjoy before heading out of time and more than we had expected.
Overall, we recognize the acute difficulties of the past few years and that our experience was affected by that. And, Seven Hills Inn and their current staff were able to deliver a wonderful wedding day and weekend despite the level of difficult caused by the turnover. We recommend SHI as a wedding venue and suggest that future couples are proactive about maintaining their contract in the case of any more turnover at the Inn.

The perfect day but not without a few bumps in the road...

While our wedding day was perfect, there were so many challenges leading up to it that it did take away from our entire planning process. That being said, we were in a unique situation where the Inn underwent a change of ownership and massive renovation since we first booked it, so hopefully moving forward other couples won’t have the same issues that we did now that everything is settling.
First, we had three different wedding coordinators (which are provided by the Inn) over the course of our planning. This was frustrating because of the gaps in communication from person to person, but hopefully Cassandra will maintain that role for the future. Secondly, there were multiple errors in our lists of where guests were staying, for how long some were staying, and clerical errors about payments (including a lost check and my mother being overcharged for her rooms) that required us to correct them over the course of at least five phone calls. While Bobbie and the front desk staff were always helpful and friendly, we as their customers should not be the ones catching their mistakes. Thirdly, my husband and I were very disappointed that our “honeymoon suite” room was not finished being renovated in time for our wedding when we were under the impression that it would be. Additionally, the Inn seemed to forget that our contract included a complimentary changing room (which was also unfinished) and were scrambling to find space the day before our wedding. I was given two rooms in a separate building which was adequate in terms of space but quite poor in terms of lighting for my photographer. Furthermore, I would advise future brides and grooms to read their contracts forwards and backwards to ensure they don’t lose a significant amount of money by not booking the minimum requirement of rooms. However as I mentioned, the day itself was perfect, with the exception of being presented with the final bill one hour before the ceremony (which included a significant overcharge) despite the fact that this wasn't due until the next morning and our credit card was on file. We had a beautiful outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour on the patio and were given the run of the property without disturbances from other guests staying there who were not part of our wedding. Everything ran smoothly thanks to Cassandra's direction and everyone had a wonderful time. They set up tables for the pizza we had delivered and gave my husband and I ten minutes alone together after the ceremony to enjoy our hors d'oeuvres and champagne. The waitstaff, bartenders and housekeeping staff were more than friendly and accommodating. Our hope for the Inn in the future is that once the new staff members become more experienced with hosting and planning weddings, and renovations are finished, the entire process will be as smooth as the day of. It is truly a beautiful venue and we loved being able to spend a full weekend with our friends and family.
