We had the wedding of our dreams at The Rose, and I’m still in awe of how perfectly everything came together. It was truly the best day of our lives.
Very early in our tour, my wife and I knew we had found the perfect venue. The building is full of charm — the upstairs state room is ideal for cocktail hour, the front lounge creates a warm gathering space for guests, and most importantly, the dance floor is huge with an incredible stage. We wanted to throw an absolute rager with a live band, and The Rose was the perfect place to make that happen.
Patricia, the event coordinator, runs an incredibly tight ship. She is exceptionally organized, detail-oriented, and always on top of everything. The planning documents were thorough and thoughtfully structured, and she kept us on track every step of the way. Wedding planning can be stressful, but Patricia made us feel completely confident that every detail was handled.
At the rehearsal, Patricia took full command in the best possible way. She had every minute detail mapped out, which allowed us to truly relax and focus on enjoying the moment. On the big day, we felt so well taken care of. Thank you, Patricia, for going above and beyond for us. If you choose The Rose, you can trust that Patricia will make your wedding everything you hope it will be.
Fun fact: My wife and I actually booked The Rose before we got engaged — a little untraditional, I know. We wanted to lock in the venue before dates filled up, and it took so much pressure off. When it came time to propose, I reached out to Patricia to help plan it. At our wedding, there was even an “X” on the dance floor marking the exact spot where I proposed. The Rose Event Center was a DREAM!!
We had our wedding at The Rose Event Center in September 2025 and the entire process was a DREAM! The venue is stunning and has so much character - exactly what we were looking for!
This was our 4th venue we toured and I knew it was the one the moment we started to walk through. Both Patricia and Emily were incredible to work with. They were extremely prompt and organized in every email and conversation we had.
What we loved the most is that this is an all-inclusive venue -- something that is not very typical with other venues. The transparency in the price and what it includes were 100% exact & there were no hidden fees.
We loved working with their recommended vendor (elite entertainment) for our DJ and decor. That is the only outside vendor, besides our photographer & makeup/hair people.
We chose to add extra time and have access to the venue earlier on our wedding day so that both parties could get ready at the venue and I highly recommend doing that! We both had breakfast at nearby restaurants and timed everything out so that the girls would arrive first to start getting ready. The bridal space upstairs is gorgeous and perfect for getting ready with your girls.
We had our first look in the state room (bar upstairs) and it was the perfect intimate moment we wanted. We sent our wedding party & parents down to the park (2 blocks away) by the river and walked down there after our first look for family/bridal party photos - a true dream without having to coordinate transportation.
I cannot recommend The Rose and their staff enough. The food was delicious and our guests enjoyed being able to explore up on the mezzanine level throughout the night. (*inside tip - you can go to the Buffalo Rose next door and do a wine tasting before making your wine selections!) Make sure you get the Churros for dessert! Our *only* regret is that we didn't have more dessert for out guests -- it ran out very quickly as we had more guests stay than expected and everyone wanted the churros (we did the dessert bar with 4 different varieties)

From start to finish, our experience with The Rose Event Center was nothing short of amazing. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful, full of character, warmth, and charm, but what truly sets it apart is the level of care and support you receive, especially from Patricia.
I’m a busy mom of two, and going into wedding planning I honestly had no idea how I was going to pull everything together. Patricia was incredible at keeping everything organized, detailed, and on track while also reminding me that I was on track and didn’t need to stress. Her calm, reassuring presence made the entire planning process feel manageable and even enjoyable.
On our wedding day, everything came together exactly how I had envisioned it. The Rose has such natural ambiance that you don’t need a ton of décor to make it feel magical, it’s already stunning on its own. Seeing our names on the marquee that day was such a fun and special touch and made the whole experience feel even more personal.
There was even a moment when the strap on my wedding dress ripped, and Patricia was immediately there with an emergency kit, sewing me back up and getting me back out to enjoy our day without missing a beat. That level of preparedness and care truly speaks volumes.
The food was fantastic, we received so many compliments, and the staff was warm, friendly, and professional throughout the entire day. We loved every minute of our wedding, and we are so grateful to The Rose and Patricia for making it all feel seamless and stress-free.

The Rose is such a wonderful venue. We had our wedding here in November and it went perfectly! The event coordinator, Patricia, put in an immense amount of work with us getting everything just right. She kept us on track for deadlines, helped organize all decorative details, and helped us coordinate with vendors. Her recommended vendors were great and she has a great working relationship with all of them. She really focused on making the day easy for us. During the event, she was available to handle any requests that we had. She kept us well-hydrated and made sure we had plenty of time to regroup between the ceremony and reception. The space is a historic building that has a vintage charm, including an excellent bar on the 2nd floor mezzanine, moody lighting, and a sophisticated feel. It's located in the heart of Golden, right by Clear Creek. The whole day was very beautiful.The Rose's reply:

Wedding @ The Rose
My husband and I got married at The Rose on 11/7/25 and had the most magical experience. From the day we toured, we knew we were going to love this venue. The location was perfect, the industrial look matched our vibe and the event planner/coordinator, Patricia was the cherry on top. From the day we signed out contract, the process was so smooth and simple. Not only did our family and friends enjoy our wedding day, but most importantly, we had an absolute blast. I keep saying the day was "perfect", but truly it went so smooth thanks to the venue and Patricia. It's a night we'll remember forever! Our wedding at The Rose was the best night of our lives! The whole team simply rocks. From the kitchen staff to the bartenders, to the service team, and of course to Patricia, our coordinator, they all made our night amazing.
We went with the BBQ buffet for our dinner, and it was so good that many of our guests went back to Buffalo Rose for lunch the very next day. The bartenders were lightning fast, super kind, and kept the drinks flowing all night without a line. The service team was fantastic as well, constantly checking in on my wife and me, as well as all of our guests, making everyone feel cared for. The entire team was so warm and welcoming.
The space itself is awesome, full of history and character. Definitely take advantage of the cool upstairs bar! We have received so many compliments on how fun and unique the venue was. While we added in some decor to make it feel like us, you really do not need any!
And the best part: Patricia! From the moment we toured The Rose, she made choosing the Rose as our venue a no brainer. The first time we met her, she impressed us with her organization and thoughtfulness. That gave us the confidence that the planning process would be a breeze, and it absolutely lived up to those expectations. Working with Patricia was truly a blessing, and we are so grateful for her and everyone at The Rose!

From the moment we started planning, Patricia at The Rose was an absolute lifesaver. Her responsiveness was unparalleled, always available to answer our questions and offer guidance. She truly went above and beyond to make us feel special throughout the entire process.
Patricia provided an abundance of helpful resources, including links and tips that proved invaluable in our wedding planning journey. The rehearsal the day before the wedding was incredibly calming. Patricia's warmth and enthusiasm created a relaxed atmosphere, allowing us to just be excited about the weekend to come and significantly reducing the stress of the big day.

The Rose was absolutely amazing for our wedding venue! We held the ceremony and reception there both, which allowed us to maximize our time and limit travel between locations. Our small wedding (33 people!) didn’t feel out of place, as the venue has the ability to transform to whatever size you might need. From the food to the staff to the amazing architecture, The Rose was absolutely amazing. If we had to do it all over again, no hesitation I would go with The Rose as my wedding venue.The Rose's reply:

The most incredible venue for the most perfect day!
I couldn't have imagined a more perfect day than our wedding at The Rose. The ambiance, food and organization of the venue was incredible. I was extremely overwhelmed with wedding planning but Patricia was so thorough with coordinating all the details and was really helpful at getting us to stay on top of planning so we weren't pushing anything to the last minute. On the day, my husband and I barely had to worry about anything except having the best time possible because Patricia and her team had everything so well thought out. If you are considering having your wedding here... just do it!
Patricia alone makes it worth it! She is the wedding coordinator and she is amazing. I am not a planner and she helped me so much - she kept me on track for deadlines and gave me suggestions of things I wouldn't have thought of. She is super professional and on it. The day of the wedding she kept everyone in check and helped us have the best wedding day! I am SO glad we decided to have our wedding here it was beautiful! The Rose and All Four Seasons Events were perfect for our big day. The venue was beautiful with great ambiance, food, and staff. Having Patricia as the Coordinator was more important and valuable than we ever would have thought. She worked with us the whole way leading up to our wedding and was extremely organized and detail oriented. Patricia took care of everything and was very kind to our family and friends. All her hard work ahead of time allowed us to fully enjoy the day. We would 100% recommend both All Four Seasons Events and The Rose. -

Amazing venue!!!
Where do we even begin?! We celebrated our wedding in October 2022 at the Rose Event Center and could not recommend it more!! 10 stars if we could! The search for a venue is a task; seemed like everywhere we went showed one thing online and we would arrive at the venue and see all the ugly/weird things they left out. When we arrived at the Rose to tour, it was EXACTLY like the photos online!! Absolutely stunning! We met with Patricia who is incredible. She was very upfront from the beginning with pricing and nothing was hidden throughout the entire process. Not only was she incredible in coordinating but she is also a wedding planner and you get her AMAZING services throughout your entire wedding planning process. It was so easy. She gave us step by step tasks to complete and guided us through all the months leading up. We met with the chef for the tasting and he was able to customize flavors to our taste…eliminated or added salt, spice, etc. He was so easy to work with and the food was something our guests are still talking about!! The big day came so quickly and Patricia was there from start to finish and made the day stress free! Not only did she pin all the boutonnieres on the men, she also came to the rescue with a tackle box full of sewing gear and sewed my dress together when it snapped in the middle of getting ready!! She was on top of everything all evening! The bartenders were great; poured and mixed incredible drinks. The staff was so friendly and easy to work with! There are so many great places for pictures inside and there are so many places walking distance. And how fun to have a custom marquee sign!? We cannot recommend the Rose enough and have zero regrets on our big day!! THANK YOU TO EVERYONE AT THE ROSE WHO MADE OUR PERFECT DAY! -

The Rose Event Center and Patricia were AMAZING! The ambiance and setting was so warm and dramatic. It was a perfect place for our guests to visit, being right in the heart of Golden and with its historical background.
Patricia was extremely attentive, intentional, and communicative. She was so helpful with having every little detail accounted for and also gave great advice when we were indecisive or unsure.
We are extremely happy with our experience and if we had to do it all over again, we'd 100% choose The Rose Event Center again!

This venue is gorgeous. It was the prefect place for us to have our wedding, but I can’t say enough about the staff. Everyone was helpful, but the difference was Patricia. Patricia was no less than amazing. She She is organized and accommodating. Anytime we hit a road block, Patricia was able to remove it and keep things flowing. She has a great passion for what she does and it shows in her work. -

Our Dream Wedding! 5/7/22
If you are looking for a wedding or event venue, DO NOT miss out on The Rose. We fell in love with it as soon as we walked in the doors. The space was beautiful in itself but also so much potential to transform it into your dream wedding/event.
I could go on and on about how gorgeous every part of the space is, but another major reason we picked The Rose was because of their coordinator, Patricia. We wanted to be as stress free as possible with planning and day of events. After initially talking to Patricia, we knew we were in good hands.
I don't think my now husband!! and I could say enough thank you's for everything Patricia did to make our wedding day so perfect. At the end of the night, perfect, was the literally the only way we could describe it. I'm honestly not sure what we would have done without her guidance throughout the entire planning process, and the organization and leadership the day of. We had several guests coming up to us at rehearsal and all day/night Saturday complimenting Patricia and how efficient and professional she was. Patricia ran around all day with crutches, a boot on her foot, and a scooter, yet she somehow made sure everyone and everything was in place at the correct time. We all know you had to be EXHAUSTED when the night was over.

We celebrated our wedding this past May (2022) in Golden, Colorado at the Buffalo Rose Event Center. Patricia Zutman helped us coordinate all the details for the wedding; DJ'ing, food, decorations, time tables, essentially everything we would need to make the event special, and everything we didn't even think of. Her experience in coordinating weddings was top tier. Patricia knew how to keep things on a smooth schedule, and stayed completely flexible on the day of the wedding. She accomodated all the small changes we wanted to make too. We were completely stress free the day of the wedding, which was totally unexpected, but undoubtedly thanks to her immaculate planning. Patricia was exceptionally professional and kept us looped in on everything we'd need to complete and their timelines, and as a result, our wedding ceremony, dinner and reception went off perfectly. We're still receiving compliments on how beautiful the day way, and how well it was put together, comments on how it was the best wedding they'd ever attended, and we never could've experienced the unforgettable day we had without Patricia's help. She's an awesome person, the venue was an awesome location, and it ended up a day we will cherish for the rest of our lives!The Rose's reply:

Every step of the planning process, Patricia has brought so much peace and reassurance to us. Planning a wedding during COVID, as many know, is the opposite of easy. However, Patricia made it so much better and helped me to know that no matter what, we were going to be taken care of.
The second I was able to say hi and speak with Patricia the day of our rehearsal, all stress exited my mind, and I felt instantly better. From that moment on, I wasn’t stressed or worried about anything. I was the happiest I’ve ever been, and absolutely beyond excited. The day of our wedding, I felt so much comfort and felt like I could truly sit back and take in every moment of the best day of our lives. There is no way that I would have been able to do that without her.

My husband and I chose the Buffalo Rose for our wedding reception because of the amazing location, beautiful venue and wonderful staff. Patricia, with All Four Seasons Events, was so easy and helpful to work with in planning the details of the reception and coordinating details I would have never thought about! We had set an original date for February of 2021 but had to postpone because of COVID. The entire staff was so kind in working with us to help us weigh our options and pick another date. We ultimately got married in October of 2021 and the staff at Buffalo Rose made sure it was a perfect day for everyone! Not only was the food amazing (I still have dreams about the cocktail hour appetizers!) but the serving & bar staff were so kind to everyone. Wedding of our dreams!
We recently had our wedding at The Rose in Golden and it was everything that we could ask for. The venue was able to accommodate the amount of guests that we wanted and with the historic aspect left and the classy remodeling that was completed a couple years ago it was perfect! It was important for us to have a place with enough space to make people comfortable as well as big bars! The stateroom upstairs is extra but in our opinion way worth it! The pricing was some of the best that we were able to find for the venue that included food, alcohol, table linens, etc. The food was amazing and fresh and they accommodated our request to have some of the appetizers served as late night snacks after you’re hungry from dancing and drinking some beverages. The staff was on point and had everything out timely and was very courteous. They also were very quick with their turn around time on the room since we did both our ceremony as well as we the reception there! Patricia who headed the wedding planning for The Rose was also a bonus! She was amazing to work with and had her T’s crossed and I’s dotted so nothing slipped through the cracks which is needed if you are a bride like I was with a million different things going on. Overall I would 100% recommend The Rose to anyone that is looking for a gem to get married at in Colorado!The Rose's reply:

The Rose Event Center was the perfect space to celebrate our wedding. The classy feel of the building itself, paired with the amazing service from the staff made it a warm and welcoming place to gather with our friends and family. And with the precautions in place due to the pandemic, we were able to have the tables properly distanced, the food served safely by professional staff, and the feeling of being in a clean and well-cared-for space. When I saw the renovations to The Rose, I knew that it was the venue I wanted to host my wedding at. After meeting Patricia from All Four Seasons Event, their in-house wedding coordinator (!!!) and touring the place the decision was final, it was our one and only venue tour.
The planning process was so easy since, 1. you get to work with Patricia who is the best wedding coordinator and 2. it's an all-inclusive venue. All-inclusive might seem scary since you don't get as many options as you would if you sourced everything from 18 million different vendors, but the convenience is 100% worth it and The Rose has curated an amazing selection of furniture, decor, linens, booze, and food.
What's more is, just because it's all-inclusive doesn't mean you're locked into their preset offerings. We custom designed a menu to be served at interactive stations that guests could visit throughout the night instead of a traditional dinner service.
Unfortunately due to the pandemic we had to postpone our wedding (two weeks before it was set to happen) and then recently made the decision to cancel our early 2021 wedding reception. The Rose staff was amazing throughout the whole process and we are so grateful for their amazing team.
Since we were so close to our actual event we had completed the final walkthrough, food tasting, and even a little wine tasting they threw together for us. The food was AMAZING and I will dream in anguish about the mac and cheese sticks until they put them on the restaurant menu. After the final walk-through, I was so confident that our event was going to go off without a hitch. So it is what it is, but I would 100% recommend The Rose to any couple looking for a venue in the beautiful Historic Golden, CO.The Rose's reply:

We had our wedding here last weekend and couldn't have better things to say! Patricia is a lifesaver and she is so organized that it makes planning a wedding without a wedding planner easy. She is also the day of the event wedding coordinator, which was so helpful throughout the day. Honestly, Patricia had so many good ideas, recommendations for vendors, and overall advise throughout the wedding planning process. The staff at The Rose was very friendly and accommodating to all of our guests needs and we received a lot of great compliments on the food for our wedding. There were even a few guests who forgot to tell us about certain allergies prior to the day, the staff was able to accommodate their needs and made them something different. The venue is also very unique and customizable to all of your needs and the vision for your day! Everything about having our wedding at The Rose Event Center was excellent. When we first walked in for a tour, the venue felt unique with its mezzanine high ceilings, exposed original brick walls, modern classy couches in the front seating area, inviting central bar, upgraded sound system, and touches of the history all around the venue. It just felt right for us.
Patricia, the Event Planner extraordinaire at the Rose was engaging, friendly and focused right from the start. Her communication during planning through the day of the event was stellar. Her experience with wedding planning and the venue really helped make our event a success. The 15+ page spreadsheet was intimidating at first but she walked us through it and kept touching base when we hit certain milestones. Patricia provided suggestions when we asked which was helpful since it's not everyday we plan a wedding. Patricia also had great recommendations for vendors which made planning much easier, and helped us feel at ease that we were in good hands.
The Rose chefs and bartenders take pride in the dishes and beverages they serve. There are many options and styles to choose from and they are willing to make some accommodations. We heard many compliments from the guests that they enjoyed their food, which was important to us.
Overall our experience at The Rose was great and we highly recommend Patricia and her Team for any event. We wanted our guests to have an experience to remember and The Rose helped make that happened. Thank you for helping make this extraordinary day in our lives exceed our expectations.

We had the best wedding experience holding our wedding reception at The Rose, and can't say enough good things about working with their wedding planner, Patricia. The Rose checked all our boxes: it's located right in Golden, convenient with walkable restaurants and hotels for guests. It's large enough to host over 200. They have a real bar (two actually) so they keep the libations flowing, and since they're attached to the Buffalo Rose restaurant the food was delicious and a breeze. The interior design of The Rose is so pretty on its own that we barely had to decorate, and received so many compliments about how awesome the venue was. Finally, The Rose provides the linens (plenty of colors to choose from), tables, chairs, limited decoration supplies, everything. It made it so easy. Tour the Rose, meet Patricia, and trust that excited feeling you get. The service and style is the same even after the contract is signed.The Rose's reply:

My husband and I had our wedding reception at the Buffalo Rose event center with the help of Patricia Zutman and All Four Seasons Events planning (which we got courtesy of booking with the Buffalo Rose). We could not have been happier with how the wedding celebration turned out. Patricia was so easy to work with and we loved how transparent all the pricing and expectations were through her and the Buffalo Rose. Planning and celebrating a wedding during COVID craziness has been so challenging-- but Patricia was an excellent guide through the chaos. She always kept us up to date with all the rules and regulations and updated us about timelines and pricing should we choose to postpone and re-schedule. We ended up forging ahead and never did try to reschedule; and were fortunate enough to have all of our desired guests be a part of our celebration.
The Buffalo Rose with All Four Seasons Events was able to accommodate almost everything, and provide recommendations for things they did not provide (Such as decorations, cakes, transportation etc.) Buffalo Rose catered the food for the event- which turned out delicious. They were also able to coordinate our other vendors (lighting and drapery, floral, cake etc.) to ensure everything was set up and taken down smoothly. Patricia did an excellent job guiding my husband and I through the wedding planning process and the day of made sure we kept our wedding on schedule to make sure that we had time for all the planned special moments.
The only thing we would advise other couples to keep in mind when planning concerned the food. While it did turn out delicious, it was not the same as when we had our tasting... My husband and I had been blown away when we had our tasting at how fresh and well prepared all the food had been. Obviously cooking 4 portions of food to taste is different than preparing enough for a group of 140. So we were a little disappointed the food was not as good and fresh as it had been when we had our tasting. However, our guests still enjoyed everything and we wouldn't have done anything differently in the end.
All in all would highly recommend. Thank you to the Buffalo Rose and Patricia, with All Four Seasons Events for helping make our day so magical. It was a celebration we and our guests will always remember.

What a Beautiful Night
The Rose Event center helped us to throw our dream wedding during the middle of the Covid Pandemic. It was a joy to work with them.
Their food was par excellence and the venue was gorgeous.
The staff was delightful and so helpful. They all wanted to make sure we felt special and taken care of on our wedding day.
We kept having to change things due to Covid restrictions ever in flux, and Patricia was super helpful in navigating all the bumps along the way.
We would recommend The Rose Event Center for your next event if you want top notch service, a beautiful venue, and delicious food.

My husband (fiance at the time) first toured the venue by himself. He is a native to Colorado, whereas I was living in Canada at the time. When I first saw the photos of The Rose venue I fell in love with it. It had everything we loved – an art deco décor, a mountain town feel, and historic significance. We planned our wedding in less than 4-months, with me in Canada for a majority of the planning, and it went off without a hitch! I was very impressed with this venue and with the service team. Our Event Coordinator and event staff were professional, pleasant, and prompt. The service and timing for everything were ideal.
We had our wedding ceremony in front of the stage in the main venue and used the State Room for post-ceremony photos, while our guests enjoyed Cocktail Hour in the Lobby. Our menu featured Colorado inspired hors d'oeuvres, a plated dinner, and a hosted Signature Cocktail bar. We also treated our guests to some late-night tamales. Our guests are still raving about the quantity and quality of food served by The Rose. Our DJ provided some up-lighting, which we felt helped to illuminate the space. The Rose is full of photo opportunities, such as personalizing the marquee out front (super cute), under the Welcome to Golden sign, as well as up in the State Room against the elegant bar. I would highly recommend The Rose to you for any of your special occasions. My only regret is not pausing to take a moment to take it all in. To sum it all up in one sentence, The Rose helped make our wedding dream come true.
