Choosing the The Riverside Allstars as the entertainment for your wedding is a no-brainer decision and turned our wedding into the greatest party ever!
Kyle and Anthony went way above and beyond, playing the role of wedding planner, coordinator, and music provider. They walked us through our day multiple times to help with the scheduling with the ceremony, cocktail hour, food, speeches, etc. Anthony even signaled our wedding party when walking down the aisle and had a spare mic ready to go when we had an unexpected outage.
The piano-cello combo during the ceremony was incredibly special as they learned multiple songs for us and used their expertise to start, swell, end, and change songs at just the right time. Everyone was caught up in the emotion with no other word to describe it besides magical.
The reception was a banger, with unbelievable talent and charisma that had everyone on the dancefloor. Being singers ourselves, the group even let us take the lead on a few songs (planned beforehand), making it such a special time. Maybe we are just a crazy group, but it was like having a private concert with awesome high energy using modern songs and timeless classics. They were of course willing to take any requests, but otherwise took care of crafting the set lists after understanding our likes/dislikes.
Riverside all-stars are a perfect example of master class performances at an excellent price. If I had all the money in the world, I don’t think I would pick a different group. I highly recommend everyone give them a look and book them before everyone wises up and they are booked out for the foreseeable future.

Anthony and the Riverside All-Stars were phenomenal. They played an amazing set, DJ'd our ceremony/cocktail hour/dinner, and did a DJ set at the end of the night for the silent disco. Our dance floor was full the whole night as they played a good variety of songs that made everyone want to partake. We had experienced them at my brother's wedding and they delivered again for ours! We would definitely work with them again and would recommend to anyone needing a fun, flexible, and energetic band. Bonus - they let me use the tambourine on a few songs which was fun :)The Riverside All-Stars's reply:

They kept our dance floor PACKED all night long, and made it such a party! They were so great to work with, and accommodating for songs that we definitely wanted to hear. They learned our First Dance song for us with no problem. They made the whole music process easy from start to finish.
We used them for music during the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception and I would recommend you do the same. We added the horn section to the band - and that was 100% worth it.
Even still we are hearing compliments that the band was one of the best parts of our wedding! They are worth it!

We LOVED the Riverside All-Stars! We hired them for our wedding and August and they killed it. First, Anthony (the band leader) was so easy to work with. Also, so cool - they will learn any song for you - so we requested a fairly obscure indie pop song and seriously they nailed it. Finally, we had a crazy turn of events where the power went out at our venue during the performance and the band was so kind and went to Home Depot to buy a generator for us to keep the party going. So many of my guests talked about the live music as the highlight of the evening and we couldn’t agree more. Definitely would recommend if you are looking for a talented, fun, thoughtful band to work with.The Riverside All-Stars's reply:

We used The Riverside Allstars for our July wedding and they were the absolute hit of the night. We got calls all week and complimented all night about how they were so good, so fun, and one of the best wedding bands our guests had heard. We had about 270 guests at the wedding and at least 1/3 of them went out of their way to comment about the band. 10/10 recommend!The Riverside All-Stars's reply:

From the very first time we contacted the band to the last song of the evening, the band was a joy to work with and far exceeded our expectations for the music at the reception. Kyle and Anthony were incredibly helpful in walking us through timelines, offering suggestions and helping put together the evening that our daughter and her husband wanted. Our family has lost count how many guests made a point to tell us how fabulous the band was.

So many wonderful things about this band. We chose them because they did such an amazing job at my brother's wedding a couple years ago. We booked them the week after our engagement, and it was the best decision we could have made!
Reasons to book:
1) Fast and easy communication. Loved the shared spreadsheet so we could share our ideas easily in a common space. Responded to all questions promptly and were open to different ideas.
2) Last minute flexibility! Asked for a couple changes the day of the wedding, they gladly made those changes, and well!
3) Ran the whole reception for you so you could enjoy it entirely!
4) Amazingly talented. Kept our guests out on the dance floor for the entirety of their set! Their covers were spot on and so were their song choices! We received so many compliments from our guests!!
5) Our first dance - they learned our song for us as part of our wedding package and absolutely nailed it.
6) They worked with the father of the bride to have him do a 2-song set at the reception with the band. Not only were they enthusiastic about the idea, but worked with him to make sure everything ran smoothly. It was so special to have him sing!
7) Their experience with weddings was obvious throughout the whole planning process and the day of. As the wedding couple, we weren't worried about a thing. :)

The Riverside All-Stars were everything we were looking for in a wedding band and more. Their music ranged across all genres and every song sounded great. The power went out at our venue, and Anthony (the drummer) was incredible at getting the mics and speaker running off a generator and they were able to quickly shift gears again when power came back on. He communicated clearly with me and is the only reason why I didn't lose my mind while the power was out :) They were absolutely instrumental in how smooth our day went. My husband and I got married in October and hiring Riverside All-Stars was the BEST decision we made when planning our wedding! From the start Kyle was amazing to work with- so professional, helpful, and very prompt with responding. Anthony was a great MC and the band was BEYOND amazing! The range of songs that they performed was incredible. Not only were they so talented, they were so engaging and fun! They kept our whole group engaged and dancing the night away. It was a core moment for us and our families and close friends- we all just had the best time. The band helped us celebrate our wedding and even during the busy holiday season they took it on themselves to make everything personal and perfect for us! They learned new additional songs, provided every additional service we requested perfectly organized and still played an incredible set in a non typical location with a bunch of obstacles. We couldn't be happier we selected live music and added the horns for a full band celebration. Worth every penny and we will immediately book them again for any opportunity we can find. We highly recommend River-Side All Stars! The entire experience from end to end was exceptional! We planned our wedding in four months and were super lucky to secure them for our big day. From the first phone call with Kyle through the online planning process using their online planning guide, everything was easy and awesome.
Kyle did a great job of explaining the process and was very enthusiastic about delivering on our expectations; he was also very responsive to emails and phone calls leading up to the event.
The online planning guide was very helpful and allowed us to be very specific about the "tone" of our wedding - a huge party that started with a nice little wedding! We were able to create a script for the emcee to follow which helped us emphasize how important the DJ/band were to bringing our vision to reality and kept the evening moving along.
Anthony did a great job as emcee/DJ and after the band kicked in, the dance floor was never empty - which was exactly what we wanted! We didn't have any restrictions around song requests and the band was able to give me what I wanted most - old school wedding favorites like the Chicken Dance, Hokey Pokey, Beer Barrel Polka and several line dances (all were DJ during their two breaks) along with music from the 80s, 90s and early 2000s.
There were several songs that I thought were being played by the DJ, only to realize it was the band - including a Whitney Houston song - SO GOOD! This was sentiment echoed by many of the college-age attendees as well! There were many, many guests at the wedding who were very impressed with the band and many said it was the difference maker for an exceptional event.
Such a great night filled with love, dancing and exceptional music!! If you're on the fence about having a live band or a DJ, adjust your budget accordingly and pick River-Side All Stars!The Riverside All-Stars's reply:

Worth every penny

We LOVED having the Riverside All-Stars at our wedding! From the very first email, they were beyond easy to work with and the product is worth every penny. Kyle is super flexible and responsive, we were able to add on ceremony music ~2 weeks before the wedding with no issue. The band itself is AMAZING. I cannot tell you how many guests came up to me at the end of the night to ask about them, or tell me how great they were. They kept the whole crowd engaged and on the dance floor the entire time. They did not play a single dud. Not to mention they are all crazy talented! The MC'ing was also so helpful and organized. Announcements for dinner, speeches, dances, late night snack, and shuttles kept the guests informed and the evening moving smoothly. Hiring a band is obviously more expensive than just a DJ, but it is so worth it, and one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. The best band
We booked the Riverside All Stars for our wedding after seeing their counterpart band, the Riverside Hitmen, at a friend's wedding. It was one of the best decisions we made! Their communication was thorough from the very beginning and we knew we were in great hands. During the panning process we went through some of our music preferences but we really did not have to do much at all because the band knows SO much variety. It was so assuring that everyone, from our young guests to our older guest, would be able to dance and know the music. We really wanted everyone to have a great time and the All Stars had the music and knew how to make it happen. They also ran all our of Emcee and DJ duties from the beginning of the reception and they did so expertly, without any hiccups.
As soon as they started playing for the dance people were out there and the ones who weren't dancing were enjoying the show. The All Stars kept our dance floor packed all night. Every person we spoke to throughout the evening was raving about the band and the music. They could not stop talking about how great the band was and how much they were enjoying listening to them! It was pretty amazing to hear how many people enjoyed the music, even from the ones who weren't dancing all night. The All Stars were the hit of the evening and we were thrilled to have them. We were recommended the Riverside All Stars by our wedding coordinator Meredith (Bride Support) and couldn’t be happier with them. We had been trying to decide between DJ and band and ultimately decided we really wanted live music for our day. Luckily, they still had our wedding date (10/29) available by the time we came to this conclusion rather last minute. They were super enthusiastic on our intro call and very professional and organized. I didn’t realize how integral the band would be in the wedding timeline and they handled it all so smoothly. We had a shorter wedding and had the ceremony and reception in one space. They were able to set up in a shorter amount of time and also DJ’d the music for our entire ceremony. Since our photographer was not staying the full evening, we did our first dance before dinner and the band played live. They also played a bit of jazz during dinner which was a welcomed addition. We really appreciated their willingness to step out of the box and accommodate some special requests and brainstorm how to make the most out of our limited timeline. We are a very low key couple and the band really made the overall wedding vibe classic and fun. They also did a great job meeting the diverse music tastes of our guests without us saying a word - we had pop, country, R&B, and more! There were a lot of family in attendance and were not anticipating seeing them on the dance floor as much - one of the reasons we were hesitant to book a band. We were totally wrong - the family was dancing more than our friends! The band also interacted with our guests and invited them on stage and took a few photos for us. Our guests have already been asking for us to plan an anniversary celebration just so they can dance with the Riverside All Stars again!The Riverside All-Stars's reply:

We have had the Riverside Hitman/All Starts mine AND 2 of my sisters weddings!
I cannot tell you how MANY compliments and comments we got about how amazing the music was for our wedding! Their sound is so rich and real. I am truly grateful and impressed for all the effort and talent that was put forth!
Besides the music itself, they are incredibly flexibility and willing to work out changes in the timeline and what music we wanted. The level of professionalism was truly unmatched by any other vendor I worked with. We also LOVED their complimentary cover song... there were several guests who are huge fans of the song we chose, and they were moved by the performance. Only hire this band if you want to be on the dance floor the whole night.....had THE BEST night of my life all thanks to these guys. Everyone (even my crabby gramma who never dances) was dancing all night long. SO worth the money. 5/21/22 Wedding
The Riverside All-Stars exceeded all expectations. From the moment we booked almost a year ago, there was constant communication from the band to make this was a stress-free occasion. They worked with us from start to finish to make sure we had everything we wanted from the ceremony to cocktail hour and the reception. The band is still being talked about from everyone who attended, how awesome they were and kept the dance floor full. They played a wide variety of songs to keep all age groups happy. The Riverside All-Stars were AMAZING!!! I cannot speak more highly of this band. Kyle and Anthony were incredibly professional and responsive throughout the entire process. If you want your dance floor to be packed all night, you need Riverside Entertainment at your wedding! We had the Riverside All Stars, and I am still receiving compliments from our guests days after our wedding. The band and DJ exceeded our every expectation! Kyle and Anthony are so pleasant to work with and extremely on top of the details when it comes to planning the music for the ceremony and the reception. Their packages are easily customizable to what you envision for your day, and they are worth every penny! They will even learn a song specifically for your wedding, which my husband and I were so excited about. Where do I even begin? When my husband and I first got engaged, I knew one thing for certain. We were going to have live music at our wedding! Being huge music lovers, we wanted to do it right. We did our research online, looked at reviews, went to multiple venues to hear bands, etc. My husband first heard the Riverside Hitmen in August 2019 in St. Paul. After hearing a cover band at a dive bar the night before, he called me and said Riverside are it! We met with Anthony in 2019 to discuss our vision for our 2020 wedding. When we ended up postponing our wedding in April 2020, Riverside Entertainment was SO flexible and helpful. They were super understanding and extremely responsive when we were trying to find a new date and coordinate all of our vendors. We FINALLY had the PARTY of our dreams at The Varsity Theater on July 17, 2021. Riverside All-Stars was the specific group that played at our wedding, and it was one of the best decisions we made over our entire two-year wedding planning process. My only wish as a bride was to have EVERYONE on the dance floor the entire night, and Anthony started the party by getting everyone on the dance floor for a picture which was GENIUS! Then, they cut into the first song right away. We did have the horn section. If you are thinking about horns, DO IT!!! Best decision ever. Our guests continue to reach out about Riverside All Stars and keep telling us how much fun they had (two weeks later!!). Our reception truly was the best party ever because of Riverside All-Stars. They even let me sing a song to my now husband!
If you are even slightly considering live music for your wedding, Riverside All Stars will literally blow you and your guests away...especially if you are using the horn section ;) Anthony and Kyle were our main contacts through thick and thin over these past two years. The only thing that makes me sad is that it’s over! :( I wish I could listen to them and dance with them every weekend. I recommend Riverside All-Stars without hesitation. The musical talent in this group goes unmatched by any other wedding band I have ever seen or heard.

We are SO happy that we had the riverside all-stars at our wedding! They were so easy to work with, they made all of the arrangements super low stress, and we knew that we didnt have to worry about anything being out of place. Oh, and they are AMAZING!!! These musicians and vocalists are next level fantastic!! they rocked the venue all night, the dance floor was always full, and we had countless people compliment the band at our wedding! We did a lot of research when choosing a band for our party. The Riverside All-Stars were great to work with right from the start. Our number one priority for our event was to get people out on the dance floor. I left everything up to them to choose the songs that would do that. The band was fantastic. It was clear that they were having a great time doing what they love to do. They had an energy that carried through to all of our guests.The Riverside All-Stars's reply:

Fantastic!!!
Riverside All Stars played a wide variety of music/genre's. The whole band was high energy! Lead singers energy was impressive! They played an outdoor concert in the park and they had people up out of their seats - dancing and grooving! Lots of fun!The Riverside All-Stars's reply:

Working with the Riverside All-Stars was absolutely amazing. They were extremely professional and easy to work with, and most importantly, they played beautifully. Our guests were so impressed, that they all wanted to know who was our awesome band! Anthony and Kyle asked many detailed questions to cater towards exactly what we were looking for and were incredibly compliant with the COVID restrictions/rules that had to be followed. They dressed well, played perfectly, and went above and beyond. We will definitely be asking them to play at our next event!The Riverside All-Stars's reply:
