Positive Vibes!

I love coming to this venue, I have my favorites and this is one of them. I’m particularly fond of the Revel Center cocktail hour area, it is one of the most unique and coolest in West Michigan. If you have your ceremony downstairs, and they send your guests upstairs post ceremony while Gabrielle Howard their events manager and staff does a room flip for the reception, you are in good hands and in a great space. The space is large yet cozy at the same time, artsy, lounge like, and photo friendly with a variety of game

options, it’s tough to beat. As a visiting vendor I always gain confidence when I see that Gabrielle their events manager is on point and that she’ll have things running smoothly. Great place to have a party!

Open-Minded Environment.

The Revel Center was an amazing wedding venue. They provided us with a personal parking lot, ceremony/reception space and a cocktail loft for our guests to enjoy. We valued having our day in one place. The staff were very open-minded with our Scottish Traditions. They welcomed our bagpiper and our wish to change the bride’s entrance location. The Revel Center allowed us to tailor our day to us! 10/10 would recommend The Revel Center.

Such a great place for our wedding!

We really enjoyed the Revel center. It held all of our guests and the flexibility of choices allowed us to make it fit our style. Plenty of time to set up/take down.

Such a beautiful venue!

Our wedding was a dream! The venue was beyond beautiful and had so many details making our decor so much easier to plan around! Our guest had so much fun with the arcade and photo booth!! The bridal and groom suites made it so easy to get ready and were perfect for morning of! Matt was always quick to respond with any questions and the staff on site day of was very helpful. We couldn’t be any happier with our decision to host our wedding at the revel center!

Exceptional

My husband and I worked with Matt at The Revel Center for almost 2 years because of the Pandemic and he was nothing but understanding of any and all changes we had made. I can't say enough great things about him, the venue itself, and the preferred vendors. I highly recommend booking your wedding and/or reception here! You will not be disappointed. Thank you Revel Center for such a wonderful venue :)

Perfect Space!

We loved the Revel Center! The space is very open and seated our 150 guest count perfectly. Matt and his coworker were very helpful preparing for the event and helping with day of tasks. The space is very budget friendly with unique touches such as pinball and a built in photo booth!

Accommodating, gorgeous, unique

Everything about our experience at The Revel was wonderful. Matt was responsive and accommodating prior to our event, and the day of they helped put me at ease when everything with our other vendors did not go as planned. Our guests raved about how pretty the space was, and the unique touch of the pinball room and photo booth made the night perfect. 100% would choose Revel again or recommend to a friend.

Just Perfect

The Revel Center venue was everything I wanted! Beautiful inside + out. Matt and his team made it run as smooth as possible. They were always available for questions and very accommodating! I would recommend this venue to anyone in a heart beat!

Great! Really happy with the place!

Very responsive. Beautiful place. They have a photobooth, arcade, and projector on site. Bridal suite and parking included. Really cool place. Dont need much decorating.

Absolutely amazing!

I would recommend the Revel Center to everybody. Matt was so personable and very quick to respond to my emails answering my questions. The space is elegant and I had a lot of compliments from our guests how much they enjoyed it as well. They did a fantastic job making our wedding day perfect!

GR Hidden gem

I cannot say enough good things about the Revel Center and their staff. The venue is beautiful, intimate, and right outside of downtown Grand Rapids with FREE parking. It doesn't get any better than that. The main space has everything you need, and the outside patio is a bonus! They held our ceremony and reception in the same room and flipped the space in under 45 minutes while our guests enjoyed the outdoor patio. Overall, everything went so smoothly thanks to their amazing staff!

The Revel Center is fantastic!

We had such an amazing wedding and a huge part of that is because of Matt and this amazing venue. We loved everything about this space including the upstairs space to get ready for our ceremony. Matt was so easy to work with and so accommodating, our day went perfectly.

Great reception venue! Everything was perfect from start to finish-no stress! Matt was beyond awesome to work with! The venue allows for you to have unique, custom decor. Great price point and good location. Also has parking!

AMAZING wedding venue! From start to finish, it was stress-free, easy and gorgeous! Great venue to have custom decor! So many options for set-up! Matt was awesome to work with! Couldn't be happier about my reception!

Matt was very helpful with arranging plans to have our weddding reception at the Revel Center. It’s a clean facility, modern with a touch of vintage, and has a screen/projector on site. The speakers deliver a nice sound and he works with local vendors. It’s handicap accessible and there is parking on site. We are really looking forward to having our friends/friends come to this venue to celebrate with us!

We loved working with the Revel Center! Both Matt and Josh were easy to work with and captured our vision perfectly! They were flexible and always willing to meet, talk, or answer questions extremely timely. The evening went without a hitch and all had an amazing time. Guests commented on the cozy and classy setting with a vintage feel that fit our style flawlessly!

Matt and his staff did an amazing job with our wedding. They we extremely professional and one hundred percent on top of things when ever we needed something. The space looked amazing and with the lighting they have it looked perfect. We couldn't have asked for anything more. Thank you guys so much for the amazing night!

The team at Revel Center was an absolute JOY to work with!! There are so many aspects of plannig a wedding that can cause stress and anxiety, but working with the Revel Center staff was the exact opposite! Matt was always extremely prompt and responsive with his communication, and they were unbelievably flexible with their resources and truly strove to make our day personal and unique to us. They really did everything in their power to help make it a perfect day and to keep us happy, and they did NOT disappoint! Do yourself a favor and BOOK THE REVEL CENTER!!! You will not be disappointed with the quaint space, and the entire team will make your day a smooth, rockstar even! :)

Romantic Industrial - Incredible Service

The owners were saviors leading up to my wedding day. They were there while we were decorating and aiding in reconfigure the room to make the perfect fit for our tight crowd. The space is beautiful - just wish it was bigger. :) Service is great all around and I love watching how they have evolved the space over the last year or so. Great space and I couldn't think of a better place to have our reception. Thanks, guys!

The space is beautiful and great for a small to medium sized reception. Everything is brand new and sparkling! Matt & Josh are very accommodating - meeting with this nervous mother of the bride several times. Everything went smoothly during the reception. The only issue that we ran into is that catering space is limited so keep this in mind when planning your meal.

The venue is gorgeous, but before you book this venue you should know that you will only be able to have a buffet unless improvements are made. We asked for a family style meal, and two weeks before our wedding the caterer had an event at the hall and said they would never do another plated/family style dinner at the Revel Center. Pretty disappointing.

We are once again so very sorry that your experience at The Revel Center was not all that you hoped it would be. We remember specifically which issue you are referring to with regard to one of our preferred caterers confirming your family style serving and then going back on that just a few weeks before your wedding day.

When you reached out to us before your wedding day, we took immediate action to talk with the caterer and see what other options were available. We were just as shocked as you were when they told us they were no longer allowing family style serving at our hall. However, they had told us that your newly proposed solution met your satisfaction and that the issue was remedied. From our perspective, it had sounded like a solution was made that benefited both parties involved in a positive way.

Clearly that was not the case and we once again want to apologize that your experience with us was not absolutely perfect. We appreciate your openness and honesty about the situation and know that changes will be made in our process going forward to ensure that these conversations involve our Revel Center staff. Our goal is always to exceed your expectations.

Rude Venue Manager

Firm believer that your impression of a business is from start to finish. My wedding was beautiful and I saw the creation I made come to life and as we finished our beautiful day and packing our belongings at the end of the night at the venue my husband informed me the venue staff threw away his rental suit packaging/bags and there were missing cuff links. I went to investigate and told our wedding planner immediately to hopefully get it handled so we could depart. Gabrielle Howard (venue and bar manager) came into the groomsman’s suite digging through a trash in the suite saying she assumed everything was trash because it was on the floor and came back at us and blamed us. She began to dig out all the bags from the trash all over the floor once again. Her tone set me over the edge on how you never speak to someone let alone a bride that just got married. Note: I as the bride was informed to my face that the venue staff would be in the suites during the wedding to clean and to have valuables to the car and stuff left moved to one side of the room. My husband said he was never told that information by venue staff, our wedding planner or any groomsman. I’m glad I wouldn’t let a sour person ruin my wedding but as soon as I was talked to by an individual we paid I was out of there and I caution future brides.

Worst Wedding Experience

We had the poor luck of getting married during the COVID pandemic in 2020. The Revel center refused to give us our $1000 deposit back or work with us on any sort of amendable solution. We had to re-plan our entire wedding ceremony and reception at a different venue. Their complete lack of customer service and empathy was startling.
