Awesome Wedding DJ!
Larry and the Reno Tahoe DJ Company were amazing for our reception! Larry is so well organized and communicates with you so well from the date of hire all the way up to your wedding and reception. One of the things my husband and I wanted from going to other weddings was an emcee or DJ who would inform the guests of everything there is to do and what the schedule was so guests don't feel like they are just sitting and waiting. Also, another important factor to us was a DJ who could keep guests dancing all night. We had so many of our family and friends come up to us after the wedding to tell us how great our DJ was and how he played a great variety of music. If you're looking for someone who knows how to read the room, keeps people on the dance floor, keeps the schedule flowing, and is very charismatic, then Larry at Reno Tahoe DJ Company is your guy! -

October Wedding
Larry was our DJ and officiant for our wedding in October. We could not have picked a better person for the job. He was extremely easy to work with, had an excellent playlist, and engaged our guests. Even our guests commented on his great job and that he made the reception entertaining and fun. I would hire Larry again for any event that I have in the future. -

Larry is amazing!
Larry does an excellent job being both a DJ and an MC! He also finds a way to balance new and more classic music to get everyone on the dance floor-I have never seen so many people of all generations dancing at a wedding! Thanks to DJ Larry, our wedding was a blast and a great time was had by all. I would highly recommend the Gold Star Package, as it includes a few extra services that really made our wedding day! -

An absolute must!
DJ Larry was absolutely fantastic! He worked with us at every step of the process to make it incredibly stress-free, even when we had to reschedule the ceremony due to the pandemic. We had so many compliments on the music choices AND the games. Even managed to fit in all those Meatloaf songs that my husband specifically requested. :) -

Larry's Gold Standard Package is the only way to go
He knows what he's doing. Not only should you hire him you should listen to his suggestions. He's never pushy but he is a PRO! He'll work with you and he can roll with the punches. Our ceremony started hours late and he still made it an incredibly fun night. -

Reno Tahoe DJ Company made the flow of our wedding so smooth!
Larry, the owner of Reno Tahoe DJ Company, was wonderful to work with from start to finish. Even during the hectic state of the world and needing to move our wedding date, Larry was very accommodating. He had several lengthy phone conversations with us leading up to our day, and provided in depth music questionnaires for us to fill out to ensure the music during our wedding was what we wanted. On the day of the wedding he arrived on time and was prepared. We paid for the Gold Standard package, which we felt was worth the money. Larry gave our officiant a clip on mic as well as us for our vows during the ceremony. Everyone greatly appreciated this touch because they really felt like they were apart of the ceremony. During the reception Larry suggested several fun and interactive games (totally optional) for us to do with our guests. This was a super fun way to included everyone in our wedding day also. Once the day was over we received so many compliments on the music played at our wedding as well as how great Larry facilitated the flow of the whole day. We would recommend Reno Tahoe DJ Company to anyone! -

The Best Wedding DJ!
DJ's can make or break a wedding. Larry absolutely made our wedding one of the best I have ever been to (I may be biased)! But in all seriousness he made everything so easy from start to finish. I let him have free reign on everything and we couldn't have been happier. We have gotten so many compliments on how he was able to get everyone involved and his song selection was perfect. Not once did I think the night was dying down. I would recommend Larry to every person who is planning a wedding! Thank you again!! -

A magical day
Larry was the perfect addition to our magical wedding day. Despite smoky skies and ash falling, he made our wedding celebration one to remember forever. The DJ is an integral part of the wedding day and Larry was everything we could have hoped for. -

The best DJ
Larry was more than amazing!
Having to postpone twice because of Covid, he worked with us and our changing schedule/venue. He was also very responsive. The music was perfect and he was great about reading the room and playing the music the quests were most excited about. Can’t recommend him enough! -

Interactive and personalized Party!
Hiring the Reno Tahoe DJ company for my wedding was absolutely perfect! Larry provided an interactive and personalized experience for the Bride&Groom as well as our guests attending. He had so many fun ideas and ways to incorporate everyone who attended. From the start there wasn’t a dry eye during our ceremony which led us into a blast of a party dancing the night away to our favorite hits. I highly recommend The Reno Tahoe DJ company!! -

The Absolute Best!
Working with Larry and Cooper could not have been better and our experience was so wonderful. Communication with Larry was always easy and thorough, even through having to postpone our wedding date. Larry spent the time to answer all of my questions and really made me feel at ease about everything. Cooper did such a fabulous job the day of, and even perfectly executed a very last minute change we made to our first dance. He made the night flow seemingly effortlessly and played the most perfect playlist. I would absolutely recommend the Reno Tahoe DJ Company.

Larry is the BEST!
We hired Larry to do music for our Lake Tahoe wedding back in April of 2020, we chose the Gold Standard Package. He was so flexible and understanding with our changing plans due to COVID-19. He helped make our date change happen with ease. Larry is not only a great DJ, but also an incredible emcee! I did not have to worry about anything the whole day of my wedding in terms of the music or how the reception would run, because Larry kept everything on schedule perfectly. When planning for our reception, he gave us many ideas of extra things he could incorporate and ways to involve our guests to make our event special. We told him about important things we wanted to emphasize to our guests (reminders to wear masks and sanitize, sign the guestbook, visit our trail mix bar, when the open bar started, when the garter toss and bouquet toss were, etc) and he made those things happen so flawlessly. My husband and I loved having him do our reception, but the guests loved him too!! Everyone was so impressed by his professionalism, his great announcing voice, and his organization. Larry is obviously amazing, but I’m sure anyone trained to work under him would be wonderful to have to your event as well! We are so thankful to have had Reno Tahoe DJ be a big part of our reception, they were a big reason it was so much fun and such a success! -

Best dj out there!
Reno Tahoe DJ Company were such a perfect crew for our wedding day! We went through a pandemic together and Larry made us feel like our day would still happen even when we didn't think it would. We are so thankful to have had worked with such a wonderful crew. Larry and Cooper go above and beyond to make sure every detail is perfect! Amazing - Only Great because of Larry
This is, hands down, the BEST DJ you will EVER pick. Don't go for cheap, go for creative and professional. Larry created the most fun games for my small wedding, which actually got my guests engaged and ready for the night. He is such a sweetheart and gets the crowed involved! We received compliments all night about how fun he was and how personalized Larry made our wedding. Thank you, Larry!! -

Best DJ I could've asked for
Working with Reno Tahoe DJ Company was a huge help while planning my wedding during the crazy year of 2020! Larry Williams was quick to respond to my emails and questions, and was flexible when plans had to change. The pre-event planning forms really helped dial down almost exactly what I wanted music wise. And the DJ, Cooper Johnson, did such a wonderful job - a lot of my guests personally told me! I would highly recommend using Reno Tahoe DJ for any event! -

Exceeded our expectations!
Larry is a true professional and carries with him a passion that is unparalleled. From the beginning of the planning process all the way to the day of our wedding, everything was compartmentalized, communication was spot on and he went above and beyond the call of duty to make our wedding day a day we'll never forget.
He offers something that we could not find with any other vendor. A personal touch. He made the time and wanted to get to know myself and my now wife. We had monthly meetings where we would brainstorm ideas, discuss any concerns and simply touch base with each other to make sure we're all still on track.
On our wedding day, it was a sigh of relief knowing that Larry took the wheel and made the day feel not only organized but organic. He brought the event together, removed any stress and anxiety and gave us truly the best day of our lives.
I cannot recommend Larry Williams enough! Never in my lifetime did I think I would get to interact with someone with so much love and passion for his craft. -

No stress whatsoever!
Larry was great to work with, definitely helped us when it came to the timing of each part of the wedding, which is where I had the most trouble figuring out. He gave us loads of advice and helped us pick the perfect music. Our DJ for the night of the wedding was Cooper and he was phenomenal. He was right there around the corner when I needed him. I am so grateful to them both and would highly recommend them!! -

Easy to communicate with and great song selection!
The Reno Tahoe DJ Company did such a great job with the music and for our wedding. Our DJ was Cooper and he was so nice and did a great job MCing the whole night. This company made picking our song selection easy and we were able to get a different version of a few songs that we really wanted no problem. Larry (the owner of the company) was easy to work with and available to communicate literally at any time which was great for our busy schedules. Overall a great experience and we would recommend this company for anyone! -

Larry was awesome! He was our officiant AND DJ. The ceremony was great, it was short and sweet but had just enough of our story and words on marriage to keep our guests attention. His DJ skills were amazing, he listened to all our wants and requests for wedding songs that we wanted played. He even went out of his way to purchase songs from our list(which was pretty extensive) that he didnt have. He contacted us multiple times before our wedding so that he had every detail correct and to ensure he met every single expectation we had! Larry is awesome and we 100% recommend using him!

The best!!
Larry was everything we wanted in a DJ. I had interviewed a few DJs before finding him and nothing felt right, but we were ready to settle. Then a friend said she was having Larry DJ her wedding, and I called him the next day. He is the nicest guy and makes you feel so comfortable. I really didn’t even know all of the questions I should ask him, but he brought forward so much information, and that I knew he was the one! He answered emails and calls promptly and seriously made us feel less stressed about everything. I told him from the start that my wedding guests weren’t big dancers, and he said that was no problem! He made the party so much fun just using simple little tricks, like having guests take selfies and race to send them to him in order to get to the buffet line faster. I would recommend Larry over and over again!! -

Top Quality DJ
It's amazing how much a DJ becomes part of your day. It's so important to pick the right one as they set the mood, flow, and are the voice of the wedding. We could not have been happier with Larry at our wedding! He, without a doubt, knows his stuff! His pre-wedding meeting with us made us so comfortable with him and his plan. He promised he wouldn't surprise us with anything we didn't want and walked through every crowd interaction activity with us in advance. It was so reassuring to know that we had complete control over how our evening would flow and that he truly cared about customizing everything EXACTLY as we wanted. He got all of the songs we requested, mixed in genres based on our interests, and helped with music suggestions when we weren't sure. He added so many special moments and memories to our day and made us feel like true stars of the show. We would recommend him without any hesitation! HE IS AWESOME!!! -

The first thing that stands out about Reno Tahoe DJ Company is the dedication to thoroughness that goes into planning music for weddings. Prior to speaking to Larry Williams, my husband and I looked at a series of online forms that allowed us to select songs and genres. When speaking with Larry on the phone and in person, he communicates professionally while also allowing the process to be relaxed and fun. He was timely day of, and did a fantastic job making announcements and balancing the progression of our ceremony and reception. Not only did he play all of the requested favorites, but he was full of energy and motivated everyone to stay on the dance floor. For all these reasons in addition to Larry’s years of experience, I can’t recommend Reno Tahoe DJ Company enough. -

Everyone Loves Larry!
We can't speak highly enough about our experience with Larry at the Reno Tahoe DJ Company! We planned a very quick wedding with a short engagement, and on a popular date... so when I started getting the response from most DJs that they were booked, I was worried we would be left with the worst options. Larry quickly shattered any concerns I had. Larry was lightning fast with his responses to my emails and was flexible when we changed our opinions on music selections. He helped us to honor both of our parents' 40th wedding anniversaries in the reception by playing their respective songs. He worked well with us despite the fact that we were indecisive on certain music choices, and steadfast on others. My husband is a big fan of hard rock and hates the YMCA type interactive songs... add that to a noon wedding where I was worried no one would dance, and I was VERY concerned about there being something for everyone. Larry did not let us down. He suggested amazing music for our reception and cocktail hour. And he was able to find the odd requests we had for our special music--I wanted to walk down the aisle to a piano rendition of Metallica-- Larry found it no problem and worked with me to make it a very special bridal processional. At the reception, Larry had an amazing presence when he needed to, yet was reserved and not overwhelming. He knew exactly what to play and when to play it... and he was so great about making special announcements we requested. We were so lucky to find Larry and we can't recommend him enough! Pay the extra money for his expertise and service. It will be the easiest part of your wedding planning! -

Larry was awesome!!! (to put it lightly)! I would highly recommend him and his company. He was so thorough and professional from the very beginning. Such a pleasure to work and communicate with. He was so helpful in putting together every little detail and was so involved in helping in anyway he could, very sweet. The forms he sends for you to fill out are very useful and really let you personalize how you want every aspect and phase of your wedding to go. I wanted a specific kind of song to walk down the aisle to that made both myself and groom happy and was having a hard time finding the perfect fit. Larry made a suggestion and it was THE song! He definitely knows what he is doing and is very trained and seasoned. The wedding went perfect and was FLAWLESS. I couldn't have dreamed of a better DJ/announcer for my big day. My guests mentioned several time's how professional the DJ was, and how awesome his speaking voice and presence was. It went so smoothly, and Larry was so accommodating in staying an extra half hour for our reception. Everything was really a dream come true. You will NOT be disappointed in Larry and his services!!! -

Larry was great through the whole process of officiating and DJing our wedding this April. He essentially led the entire wedding. He gave me, the bride, extreme peace of mind knowing there was someone keeping the whole party going. His music choices were great and his officiating got us through the tears! He even made the ceremony music changes seamlessly with a remote while officiating!
I would recommend Larry to anyone in the Tahoe/Reno area. -

As the mother-of-the-bride, there were quite a few things to worry about but RT DJ was NOT one of them! Larry was great! The wedding was out of Eureka (NV) he was so good to work with , had no problem coming a long ways, it was so easy to work with this company. He had people on the dance floor all night and even went an extra 2 hours because everybody wanted to keep dancing! He played the music we asked for and kept the program going with ease. Anyone looking for a professional, easy to work with person to keep your reception flowing should use this company! -

Larry provided a wonderful service highlighting the joining of our two families. He was extremely easy to work with and very professional throughout the whole process. This was an outdoor wedding in a park with a reception following afterwards. He also was able to recommend an excellent Photographer. The DJ at the reception following, provided a smooth transition from the ceremony to the reception. I endorse with enthusiasm the Reno Tahoe DJ Company! From the moment of first contact eight months before the wedding (September 16, 2017), Larry was quick in his responses to my questions and requests. He was friendly, exuded professionalism, and made me feel confident that a DJ from his company would provide great A/V and master of ceremonies services. DJ Cooper did a fantastic job the day of our wedding. The music and microphones for our outdoor ceremony worked perfectly. I appreciated that there was both a lapel mic for our officiant and a hand-held mic for our reader. Larry and I discussed in advance our desired timeline for the post-ceremony events, and DJ Cooper helped everything flow beautifully. We chose the types of music genres that we wanted at various points in the evening, and DJ Cooper chose excellent suggestions and made sure the music was loud enough but not too loud. I can't believe how many of our friends and family members danced: even my boss, who told me afterwards that he and his wife had never danced in public before! DJ Cooper faded out the music perfectly where we wanted it during the parent dance songs, and our first dance was coordinated splendidly to the music just as we wanted. Some of my favorite memories of the reception are dancing with my friends to an awesome 1940s swing tune and the crescendo of the pace of the last song of the night, which started out as a slow dance and then got rollickin'. I'm not sure how I had never heard Donna Summer's "Last Dance" before, but I'm so glad that DJ Cooper played it. We had distributed glow sticks for the grand exit right before DJ Cooper started that song, and seeing all my friends and family dancing under the dimmed lights, waving their glowsticks is one of my most joy-filled memory from our wedding day. Hands down, I recommend Larry Williams and his Reno Tahoe DJ Company to all my Reno area friends, family, and internet strangers. -

My husband and I got married on 9/23/17 and had a fairly large wedding and some specific requests in regards to the style of music, ceremonies, etc. We were looking for someone who would manage the ceremonial activities in a timely manner, show us where we need to be when we need to be there, and facilitate a fun environment for us and our guests. We never could have even imagined how far beyond our expectations Reno Tahoe DJ Company would go. We were lucky enough to have Larry perform our ceremony as well as DJ the reception, and it could not have been more perfect. He told our love story during the ceremony, managed the activities during the reception beautifully, and absolutely handled everything flawlessly. On our way to the honeymoon my husband and I both were talking non stop about what an incredible job Larry and Reno Tahoe DJ Company did with our wedding. Prior to the wedding I had no idea how important it would be to have a DJ that was able to handle all that Larry did, but I can not stress enough how incredible it is to have someone who is so good at managing the reception the way Larry did. If I could give ten stars, I would. Larry takes the time to actually get to know the couple, their story, the whole history, and even takes time to honor the parents/family of the bride and groom to truly make the ceremony all about you and your love for each other. I can't recommend strongly enough the Reno Tahoe DJ Company, and Larry specifically although I'm sure everyone in the company will give a stellar performance for your special day. -

The Reno Tahoe DJ company provided the perfect compliment in wedding day pre ceremony, ceremony and reception music. Larry Williams was so helpful the through the entire process with song selection ideas and taking the pressure off of the bride. I spoke to him multiple times about the songs, he directed me to the long list of songs for different categories of dance on his website but also played music over the phone to help me select the perfect songs for my big day. He was very prompt in his responses to me every time I e-mailed him with any questions. My DJ on the wedding day was excellent as well. He checked with me regularly throughout the reception, he kept the guests dancing the whole evening. I had to extend the reception twice because people were dancing and having so much fun. We recently got married at the Resort at Squaw Creek and DJ Cooper and his assistant, Jesse, were absolutely amazing! It was an intimate wedding--only about 50 guests, but they had the dance floor going until the farewell song. I requested a few unusual songs for the recessional and specialty dances, and the Reno Tahoe DJ Company made sure to acquire them at no additional expense. We were so impressed by the professionalism of the whole staff, including Larry, who made a few phone calls in the weeks leading up to ensure that everything would go according to plan. They were extremely accommodating and set up special speakers after I decided that I wanted our first dance in a different location. All of the music that we requested was played at the right time and Jesse even helped with our slideshow so that we could enjoy the presentation along with our guests. Larry genuinely wanted our day to go smoothly, so he sent an extra assistant and this was a very pleasant surprise. Overall, a perfect combination of music and a stress-free experience. DJ Cooper kept everything on schedule and was the epitome of a professional. I've been to many weddings where the DJs talk way too much--this was absolutely not the case! We would recommend the Reno Tahoe DJ Company 100% and could not be happier with this choice for our wedding. -

We really enjoyed working with Larry and he was incredibly quick to communicate and answer all of our questions. We had a few special requests for our ceremony music and Larry went out of his way to track down all of our songs and came through on every request. Our event was MC'd by DJ Michael and he was a great addition to our wedding. He was very professional and kept the event flowing smoothly and our guests entertained and dancing all night. Please hire these guys! They are so awesome. The communication was great from the very start all the way through the actual wedding day. Larry is so professional; he's a pro and has been doing this for years and it shows! Everything was exactly as I had planned it down to each and every song that was supposed to play throughout the night for each major event in the evening. The DJ even approached me before the reception to make sure he had everyone's names pronounced correctly before he announced them. Super great company, I highly recommend. On the day of our wedding, our DJ (Cooper) was wonderful at every point. He helped to guide us through each part of the night and was always professional. I didn't have to worry about anything the whole night which was a blessing considering the deluge of other things clouding my mind.
They were great, and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a DJ company! -

He was always available prior to the wedding to answer any and all questions even the smallest details.

Our DJ, Michael, did a great job at our wedding from the music to emceeing the important events.
Like all weddings we had a small snafu (timing issue), but Michael handled it well and none noticed a thing!

My husband and I are so happy that we chose the Reno Tahoe DJ for our July 2015 wedding. From day one, Larry (owner of Reno Tahoe DJ company) was a pleasure to work with. He was very detail oriented, kind, helpful, and responded promptly to our calls and emails. Being the detail oriented person that I am, I so appreciated that about him! He worked hard to make sure his company was providing the best service for us and they did an amazing job! For the day of the wedding, we had Cooper as our DJ! We loved Cooper and would recommend him to anyone in need of a DJ. He was very friendly, played the music we had requested, and worked hard to keep the evening flowing smoothly. He showed up when he said he would, set up without any problems, and was not obnoxious in any way. We really appreciated this about him, as one of my biggest fears was having a loud and annoying DJ. We did feel that the price was a little expensive, but truthfully, I do think that you get what you pay for. All in all, the Reno Tahoe DJ company is wonderful and we would highly recommend them for your upcoming wedding! -

We felt confident after all of our planning sessions that the music at the wedding would be reflective of what we were looking for, and it definitely lived up to our expectations. On the day of the wedding, Cooper arrived early and made sure everything was set up and ready to go. Not only did he play all of our favorite songs, he also emcee'd our reception perfectly. We recently utilized Reno-Tahoe DJ Company after having experienced their work at a friend's wedding. We hired them after speaking with Larry and were not disappointed. RTDJC was professional, well organized, very competitively priced (they were less than other DJs we looked at), and offered great communication.
The website process for picking our music was really intensive, which resulted in awesome music at our wedding. If you want to put in little effort though, you will be put off by the multiple pages of music preferences you'll go through with RTDJC.
It was worth it for us, and we got compliments on the great music on the night of our wedding, and weeks afterwards. Everyone in attendance was super impressed, as were we. We can highly recommend RTDJC. -

Larry & Cooper are fabulous! I can't believe we almost did not hire a DJ at all!! We were planning an intimate wedding for our daughter at Hyatt Lake Tahoe. We had 43 people in our party. We weren't sure that we needed the fuss of having a DJ. We wanted to just use Pandora on an iPhone. How silly we were and grateful that we last minute decided to book The Reno Tahoe DJ Company. Our group danced the night away!! Larry played a couple of games for us which was a huge hit. There wasn't many sitting down at tables. Everyone stayed on the dance floor!! Larry kept our crowd totally engaged. We did not want to leave!! -

The Reno Tahoe DJ company is AMAZING. Any couple that is planning a wedding in the Reno/Tahoe area should definitely contact this company. After 1 phone conversation with Larry Williams (and after talking to multiple DJs that same day) I knew I wanted them as our wedding DJ. Larry is extremely attentive and detailed, and really cares that his DJs provide excellent entertainment. My wedding was DJ'd by Cooper, who was a very polite and professional young man. He arrived early, so everything was set up and ready. The flow of the evening and the music was absolute perfection. Larry and his staff make sure that they create the reception of your dreams, and since they are so prepared, I was able to relax and enjoy myself, as Cooper handled everything. We had guests on the dance floor all night, it was wonderful! -

Fantastic experience! After being screwed over by Joel Swartzlander with Reno Mobile DJs (wouldn't return our calls, stood us up at a contract meeting, etc), we took our event to Larry Williams, and I am so glad that we did. We wanted a professional DJ who wouldn't pull any of the gimmicky crap that a lot of DJs do, and we got exactly what we wanted. Professional, knowledgeable, and simply a delight to work with. My wife and I hired Larry Williams for our wedding at Red Hawk in September. We are EXTREMELY happy that we did. There are less expensive services in town, but I am a firm believer that "you get what you pay for". Larry was phenomenal in every aspect; excellent communication with us leading up to our event, accessibility and responsiveness to our questions, communication with other vendors that we hired, and the service that he delivered at our wedding was simply perfect. We had the opportunity to attend 3 weddings over the summer and we learned quickly the overall impact that the DJ/MC can have on a wedding ceremony and reception; they can really make or break the event! Larry is a true professional and did an amazing job in delivering exactly what we wanted for our special day. Both during and after our wedding, we had many of the guests offer compliments on his performance as both a DJ and his coordination of our event overall. My wife Chrysee and I just celebrated our 5 year wedding anniversary! Larry and his staff made our wedding so special and unforgettable that our friends (and Chrysee and I) still talk about it to this day! From the game show at our rehearsal dinner to the personal stories he did during the ceremony and reception, it was amazing! This company is fantastic! Larry was the DJ for my daughter's wedding and he went above and beyond! I was very ill and really depended on him. He made sure the wedding went smoothly and hit every highlight possible. Also he is very reasonable. I cannot say enough about how delighted we were to work with Larry, owner of the company and our DJ, Cooper. From the start, Larry was professional, responsive, flexible and thorough. He was always positive and seemed genuinely excited and happy for us. The music and dancing were extremely important to us. We definitely wanted a party atmosphere and Cooper delivered. Our dance floor was packed for the entire reception with young and old alike. We are always receiving compliments about our DJ. He was fun and professional without ever being over bearing . Due to an long standing illness, this review is late but worth the wait. RenoTahoe DJ company's webpage is a little overwhelming but I called anyway. Larry was the DJ for my daughter's wedding, and he did an outstanding job. He entertained us and kept the pace going throughout the day. Not slow or fast but at our pace. He went above and beyond. We contracted with Reno Tahoe DJ Company for our June wedding. The owner, Larry was very professional and organized from the initial inquiry thru the planning and then the event itself. His DJ, Cooper, was equally professional, making all the announcements we asked and kept the night moving with a good selection of music.
