We had the absolute best experience hosting our wedding at the Red Clover Inn. Upon first visiting, we fell completely in love with the beautiful scenery and private seclusion that the property boasts. The grounds, the main historical inn, the carriage house, and the farm house are immaculately kept and decorated combining rustic and modern elements throughout. We shared the Claire room and it is breathtakingly beautiful with a private balcony, high ceilings, fireplace, four-poster king bed, full bath and soaking tub, and sitting area. The property was perfect for hosting our family and bridal party for the weekend onsite and exuded such a warm, home-away-from-home atmosphere for us and our guests.
We cannot thank the owners, Venetia and Mark, enough for their impeccable hospitality, organization, and coordination of the most magical day. Throughout the entire process of planning our wedding, Venetia made our decision making extremely easy by providing us with extensive timeline planning, vendor suggestions, and an overall vision for how to best set-up our wedding from rehearsal dinner and welcome drinks to our ceremony, reception, and after party. She truly was there every step of the way to provide any help and support that we needed.
Not only were Venetia and Mark amazing hosts, their staff at the inn was so welcoming and helpful. Every single staff member that was there to help run our event made us feel so at home in this space and so, so beyond special. We couldn't have dreamed of a more perfect weekend to celebrate with our family and friends and we will definitely be returning to the inn for visits in the future. This place holds such a dear part of our hearts and we cannot recommend it enough to couples looking for a romantic, intimate wedding in the heart of Killington!

Red Clover Inn and the owners, Venetia and Mark, made my son and his partner’s wedding truly unforgettable. From the stunning property and spacious, beautifully decorated Inn rooms to their thoughtful ideas and genuine Vermont hospitality, everything came together perfectly for a magical wedding weekend.
If you are planning a wedding in Vermont, you must check out the Red Clover Inn. After researching many venues, we knew immediately that RCI was “the one” — it met every one of our needs and far exceeded our expectations. Having the entire Inn to ourselves allowed our friends and family to relax and celebrate together in comfort all weekend. We had about 100 guests, with nearly half staying on-site and the rest in great nearby accommodations. ☘️
Red Clover Inn is a hidden gem nestled in the Green Mountains near Killington. The setting is picture-perfect — beautiful grounds filled with colorful flowers and mountain views in every direction. The Inn offers a variety of accommodations to suit every need: the 10-person Farmhouse was ideal for the wedding party, with all the amenities of home; the Carriage House suites were luxurious and full of character; and the cozy Inn rooms were charming and comfortable. The interiors blend rustic elegance with modern comfort, and there are inviting living spaces throughout the main Inn where guests can gather and unwind. ☘️
Venetia was wonderful to work with and helped bring our vision to life throughout the planning process. Her many great ideas, excellent vendor recommendations, and thoughtful, special touches made the entire weekend feel beautifully curated and deeply personal. The staff was professional, friendly, and worked tirelessly to ensure every guest felt comfortable and cared for. ☘️
Venetia and the RCI team made the rehearsal BBQ dinner magical. It was set under the apple tree with stunning tablescapes, gorgeous flowers, candles, and twinkle lights. Guests enjoyed lawn games, relaxing and socializing in the cozy common rooms, and ending the evening around the grand fire pit with s’mores and drinks thoughtfully provided by Venetia and her team. ☘️
For the wedding day, Venetia and her team transformed the stunning ceremony space by the pond into a dreamy, elegant, rustic setting with a beautiful huppah. The RCI team worked closely with our amazing caterer, Cloud 9 Caterers, for set-up and seamless execution. The cocktail hour and reception tent were perfectly arranged, and the entire evening was fantastic — from dining and dancing to the sparkler send-off and lively after party in the Inn. The weekend concluded with a delicious breakfast featuring amazing service and the most scrumptious apple turnovers (our guests are still raving about them!). ☘️
We are forever grateful to Venetia, Mark, and the entire Red Clover Inn team for creating such a joyful and unforgettable wedding celebration. Many guests told us it was the best wedding they had ever attended. The Red Clover Inn is a truly magical place that exceeds every expectation and embodies the very best of Vermont hospitality. We cannot recommend it highly enough — they will make your event extraordinary. 💕

My son’s wedding was held at the Red Clover Inn in May 2025.
The entire weekend was wonderful. It is a very quaint inn with beautiful rooms and beautiful grounds. We had a small group of 38 and had the entire inn to ourselves. I stayed in the farmhouse with 2 of my daughters and their families. With 10 people in the house it never felt crowded and they have everything you need to make it feel like home. Vanecia , Mark Sheila and their entire staff were so accommodating and so helpful the entire weekend. The wedding ceremony was planned to be outside but it was pouring all day long. Vanecia set up the barn to use and it was just perfect. I highly recommend this inn for any wedding large or small. Thank you Vanecia, Mark , Sheila and Staff for an incredible weekend wedding.

We held our son’s wedding at the Red Clover Inn June 2024. We were very happy with how the whole weekend went off. The Inn itself is lovely. The owners Venetia and Mark were great to work with. They worked well with the vendors who provided the catering ( Cloud 9 Caterers ) and the rental company that provided the tent, chairs etc ( Celebration Rentals). The staff of the Inn were also very nice to work with. -

The Red Clover Inn is an absolute hidden gem of a wedding venue. We were able to book a date about 1 year in advance, and we really enjoyed having the entire Inn and property to ourselves for the weekend with our guests. We were able to host a fun, casual welcome pizza party for all our guests, and then the next day had a beautiful outdoor ceremony under the apple tree, and finally an awesome reception dinner and dancing floor in the back yard. The venue and the area was perfect for our outdoors focused wedding. Its close to lots of fun nature activities (biking, hiking, great restaurants), convenient to nearby hotels and store (10 min drive away), with beautiful mountain views the whole time. The Killington area was gorgeous for our June wedding, and I’m sure all seasons are special at this location nestled in the Green mountains. The rooms at the Red Clover Inn are beautifully maintained, elegant, and spacious. Having the entire inn, we were able put up our entire families for the weekend, as well as our wedding parties in the carriage house, and a group of friends in the farmhouse. The detached farmhouse is an amazing space, and we were able to utilize it as an additional hangout space while preparing for the weekend, and as a place to continue celebrating with close friends once the official party wound down. The hottub was also a big highlight. The spacious backyard allowed for our guests to play ample lawn games and enjoy a bonfire both nights of the weekend. The indoor space was of the inn was beautifully decorated, with an excellent tavern room and separate sitting rooms, and was spacious enough to accommodate our 120 guests while a spring shower passed overhead. Carol, the innkeeper and day of coordinator really did an incredible job in organizing the wedding weekend. She gave excellent advice and guidance during a rehearsal on Friday, helped coordinate great bar service and pizza from an external vendor on the Friday night outside underneath the apple tree, and then was extremely helpful in coordinating our DJ and photographer. She had the venue set up and ready to go without us having to worry, and on the day of our wedding she ran the show to make sure that my wife and I didn’t have to worry about anything besides getting ready. Her husband Mike cooked an amazing wedding dinner based on our choice of entrees, and the serving and bar staff were wonderfully kind, helpful, and talented (many guests commented on how good the cocktails were and how fun the staff was!). Carol and the Red Clover staff provided the ideal combination of allow us to create the weekend of our dreams on a gorgeous property in the mountains, while also providing guidance and options for us to choose from so that we knew where to start and what to think about. We are very glad that we chose the Red Clover for our venue, and look forward to returning to stay at the Inn in the future! -

A dream come true ..
An absolutely wonderful experience! From start to finish RCI gave us an amazing experience that I would have never imagined we'd be capable of having. The property is beautiful, the food was delicious, and the staff was very accommodating. If you want a personalized experience, from someone who truly cares about giving you the wedding of your dreams, this is hands down the best option in Vermont. My sister had her wedding here and I was so blessed to be a part of the wedding party and get to stay at the property for 5 days with my family! I have been dreaming about going back since! I can't wait to book a girls getaway here as well. This venue is not just for weddings, it's a wonderful location for retreats, personal time away and so much more. Not to mention it's minutes away from Killington, hands down one of the best places in VT to ski! -

Our wedding weekend at Red Clover Inn and Restaurant was simply phenomenal, all for an extraordinarily reasonable price. The location itself is gorgeous, with a main house, guest house, generous lawn, and fire pit. We had a bon fire every night, and s'mores as a bonus dessert after the rehearsal dinner. We got married underneath a 100-year-old apple tree, with fresh apples on its branches! (And a lovely barn as back-up!) The food was to die for; a menu created from scratch based on the couple's food preferences and seasonality. All of the staff members were so friendly, it was like a summer home we had been visiting for generations—only we didn't have to do any dishes! Love that each room has its own unique feel and character, and there were extra cots for the little ones. Everything about the venue was wonderful—but Carol Petitbon made it over-the-top phenomenal! I had all these ideas for little touches I wanted to put around the Inn, and she followed through and then some! I had bought fabric for table runners, but hadn't had a chance to edge them—she somehow made them look even better! I had collected bottles to hold wildflowers—she loved the idea and sprinkled them around artfully! We brought games to play and she created a whole station, complete with marquee blackboard! I was so nervous, but Carol made everything a breeze! I cannot recommend Carol or this venue more wholeheartedly. Just phenomenal!! -

August 10th my husband and I had a fabulous wedding at the Red Clover Inn in Mendon, Vt. The event was planned and managed perfectly by Carol Ryan, the wedding planner. She paid great attention to detail to every aspect of he wedding...always with the most pleasant and friendliest of attitudes. All of our ideas and suggestions were taken into account, often improved upon, and implemented to the fullest. The inn itself is the perfect setting for any wedding, and the staff take great pride and care in delivering the highest level of service. The outside grounds are kept Immaculately and was therefore the perfect backdrop for our outdoor wedding. Furthermore, we were reassured and 100% confident in the knowledge that the inn boasts a beautifully decorated barn were the weather to take a turn for the worst. Dinner service was definitely a highlight of the evening. My husband and I were thoroughly pleased, as were our guests. I also would definitely recommend the Red Clover inn jazz band. Their smooth melodies enhanced the dining experience throughout our big day. Throughout our big day, from the ceremony and dining and up to the closing bonfire, Carol guided us and our guests every step of the way, leaving us comfortable and confident to enjoy our special day knowing we were in good hands. -

Carol and her staff are just amazing - and they took care of every last detail! Our wedding was everything we dreamed of! The Red Clover Inn is perfect for a Vermont wedding - big or small. The grounds offer many photographic settings and the FOOD.....so delicious. This place is a hidden gem in the Killington/Rutland area. We can't wait to go back and visit. -

A Beautiful Wedding Weekend
We had our wedding here in October and Carol did a great job helping us coordinate the day of, we didn't feel the need to hire a wedding planner, we were able to just send all of our details/information directly to her. We had an amazing weekend with our friends and family at the Inn, it was beautiful, relaxed, the weather cooperated, the food was delicious, and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. I personally did not pay attention to a lot of the little details and allowed Carol to have free range with decorating and it turned out beautifully I was very happy with everything. -
