My wife and I got married at the Red Clover Inn on 9/15/18 and hosted a weekend-long wedding celebration. Absolutely INCREDIBLE wedding venue! The apple tree, romantic/rustic chic Inn, and the surrounding property give the entire place a magical ambiance. Carol and ALL of her staff (including all the inn staff, chefs/kitchen staff, bartenders & servers, housekeeping) are amazing and went above and beyond to make our wedding flawless and stress-free. They are extremely flexible and take so much pride in their work. Seriously, the staff is what sold on us this venue vs. some of their competition in the area.
Carol is super attentive to details and took away any worries we had while being patient, professional, and answering the bazillion questions we had throughout our 5-month planning process. Her sense of humor and experience in hosting events is fabulous, and she does not disappoint. Carol and her staff made recommendations when asked, yet never intruded or questioned our "musts." Her design skills are impeccable. The Inn is gorgeous and each room is decorated with such care and craft. Rooms and the property's landscaping are immaculate.
A few tiny hiccups occurred with outside vendors and Carol handled our vendors so promptly that no-one (ourselves included) even knew anything was going on. We appreciated how well she managed her staff, and the independently contracted vendors.
Our wedding weekend food (tacos for a welcome/rehearsal dinner and barbecue for our reception) was out of this world - thanks to Chef Mike Ryan and the kitchen staff! We entrusted them to make culinary decisions and we're so glad we did because everything was perfect. Most of our wedding guests said it was the best wedding food they ever had.
We also received so many comments from friends and family afterwards about how absolutely perfect everything was - and we completely agree. Easily one of the best weekends of our lives. We will be back, and highly recommend this cozy inn.

Perfect Vermont venue with great staff and lots of flexibility
We got married at the Red Clover Inn in October 2018 and it was amazing! A few things that are worth noting:
1) Carol, the point of contact for weddings at the venue, is absolutely brilliant. She knows the area, the vendors, and every little detail inside out and really helps you put things together even from afar (we live in NYC). She is an excellent planner, really good on the day-of, has great ideas and is fun to work with
2) Carol is in line with all the other staff at the venue, which was a major reason we chose the place after visiting a couple of times. Everyone is just so nice and does everything to make it a great day
3) You get the whole weekend, which is fantastic as it allowed us so much flexibility on how to make the most of a destination wedding. We had lots of people traveling internationally so we wanted to make sure people had plenty to do. The venue helped us put on a rehearsal lunch and BBQ (food was incredible) with music, lawn games, fireworks and so many other little things. That was on top of the ceremony and reception the next day and then a brunch on the Sunday before we left. We really built out a plan and we couldn’t have done that without the flexibility of having the venue to ourselves and their help in bringing it all together
4) The recommended suppliers are all great to work with. A few standouts were the flowers and the cake provider, both recommended by Carol
Overall, we would heartily recommend it to anyone thinking of getting married in Vermont. We had the best day!

Perfect Vermont Wedding Venue
Carol and her staff are just amazing - and they took care of every last detail! Our wedding was everything we dreamed of! The Red Clover Inn is perfect for a Vermont wedding - big or small. The grounds offer many photographic settings and the FOOD.....so delicious. This place is a hidden gem in the Killington/Rutland area. We can't wait to go back and visit.

Red Clover Inn was an OUTSTANDING venue! Our day was even more amazing then we could have imagined. Carol PetitBon the Innkeeper and Wedding Coordinator made our day easy, fun and extremely memorable. She just gets it! She was so helpful through the process from the day we booked to the last call on the day of the party. The setting was breathtaking and made for such a variety of activities for all guests. Carol's staff was also fantastic. Each one was cheerful throughout and went out of their way to make even the smallest of requests seem important to us. We will revisit the Red Clover Inn for years to come and all of our first time Vermont-visiting guests are already looking to come back to the great state. For the most memorable experience, choose Red Clover Inn!

My husband and I got married at the Red Clover last month (10/7/17) and we could not be any happier with our choice of venue! From the moment we walked in for the first time in May of 2016, we knew this was the place we wanted to get married. Carol assured us that all of our wedding dreams could come true at the Red Clover and she did not disappoint! We worked closely with Carol over the last 18 months from New Jersey to create our wedding weekend. She recommended all of our vendors and each one was a perfect fit! Every detail we planned was executed perfectly including our rehearsal, rehearsal dinner, welcome party, breakfast and lunch for our bridal party, ceremony, reception, and farewell brunch. Carol took the time to get to know us as a couple and it was completely evident from all the special touches she added to our wedding. From the moment we arrived on Thursday, my husband and I were able to relax and enjoy the weekend because we knew that Carol had everything under control! We both felt so calm and just excited to get married! Our guests have not stopped talking about how perfect our wedding was. Our bridal party and parents stayed with us at the inn and they loved every minute of it. Carol, Maggie, Emma, Dylan, Thomas and Sylvia made everyone feel so welcome. Our food was delicious for every meal and many of our guests have already made plans to come back! We have visited several times during the planning process and will continue to do so for years and years to come. We truly feel at home at the Red Clover and consider the staff there our close friends and would not change a single thing about our wedding.

This was an amazing place to get married at. We had both our wedding and reception at the inn and all of our guests stayed there for the weekend as well. We live in Indiana so we were initially nervous about planning an out of state wedding. However, Carol took care of everything and was always available to answer questions so the whole thing was really stress free. She helped us with contacting vendors and all the other million details related. The communication was very good. The place is incredibly clean, the staff is amazing and the food was spectacular. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect experience. Our guests raved about the service, the views and did not want to leave. We spent our honeymoon there and plan on returning every year to celebrate our anniversary.

My husband and I were married at the Red Clover Inn on October 8, 2016, and I cannot be complimentary enough about our experience there. Choosing to have our wedding at the Red Clover Inn was the best decision that we made about our wedding. We had a totally smooth, flawless, and stress-free weekend. In conjunction with the exceptional Red Clover staff, we hosted an intimate 80-person weekend-long celebration that we will treasure for the rest of our lives.
Innkeeper Carol PetitBon was the lynchpin of our experience. She is a wedding planning veteran with a wealth of experience. Carol and I worked closely together to craft a celebration that felt totally personal. She has planned many weddings at the Red Clover, and has an instinctive ability to suggest ways to make the day go more smoothly. Carol had many wonderful suggestions about ways to personalize the Inn. As a destination bride, Carol made it easy to plan a wedding from afar. She was always happy to talk and discuss details, even months in advance. I particularly appreciated her vendor recommendations. Carol connected us with our florist (Pittsfield Garden Center), DJ (MC Sounds), salon (Five Elements), rental company (Celebration), and cake baker (Trillium Fine Desserts). Each vendor was outstanding. When we arrived for our wedding, we met with Carol about the details of the weekend, and after that, we had nothing to worry about for the rest of our time there. She and her staff created intimate, stunning spaces in our tent and throughout the Inn itself, with no detail left out, throughout all of our wedding events.
Also deserving of special mention is the amazing food, created by Chef Jake. From Friday evening’s home-style barbecue rehearsal dinner, to breakfast buffets that left us warm and full, and especially our locally sourced wedding feast that had a bunch of foodies practically moaning in pleasure, each bite was a treat. We appreciated the special care he and the rest of the staff took for our frien

A truly remarkable experience. We just had our wedding here this weekend and the staff truly went above and beyond! From decor, food, linens, flowers and ambiance, not a single detail was missed. Carol, Thomas, Sara, Dylan and the rest of the Red Clover team are true professionals who know how to make sure weddings hosted there are perfect and absolutely beautiful. We plan on coming back every year on our anniversary!

My husband and I got married at The Red Clover Inn in September of 2016. It was the perfect location for our wedding and reception. Our wedding coordinator, Carol, and the whole team at Red Clover Inn helped us every step of the way. They worked directly with our vendors alongside my husband and I to ensure that everything was taken care of and our weekend was as stress free as possible. The entire inn was ours for the weekend which really allowed our friends and family to relax and hang out for the entire weekend. You and your guests are their sole focus for the entire weekend which makes it more than a wedding.
The grounds are gorgeous and well maintained making it a great back drop for the ceremony. My husband is a chef and as such food was a REALLY important part of our decision. One of the many great things at The Red Clover Inn is there is no set wedding menu. If you can think it, you can have it. Not only are the options limitless the quality, execution and presentation was impeccable. Our guests raved about the food.
On the day of our wedding three of our guests had medical emergencies due to chronic conditions (everyone is doing well now). The team at Red Clover Inn were literally lifesavers. Not only did they get us through and helped minimize our stress and concern for our family they did it so well that our guests were still having fun and enjoying cocktail hour. No one wants to have a medical emergency on their wedding day but Carol and the team at Red Clover Inn handled things so beautifully, minimized our stress and really made sure that my husband and I and our friends and family had an unforgettable and amazingly fun day.
If you are looking for a place where you can truly relax and enjoy not just your day but an entire weekend, then The Red Clover Inn is your place. The food is amazing, the grounds are beautiful and the team is wonderful. We couldn’t imagine getting married anywhere else!

Our wedding on 8/20/2016 was so amazing that I literally cried as I drove away the Sunday after! Carol and everyone at the Red Clover Inn are so wonderful and were helpful from the very start. They took care of everything; I basically showed up Friday morning of wedding weekend and they handled the rest! I didn't have to worry about a thing. Carol had so many great ideas that I would have never come up with on my own! We never even looked at any other venues, this place was so perfect. The food is INCREDIBLE! I honestly can't say enough good things about it. Everyone told me it was the best food they'd ever had at a wedding. We consider ourselves to be "foodies" so this was extremely important for us. The drinks aren't bad either! They took the time to sit with us and figure out what we wanted for that whole weekend (food, drinks, decor, vibe, etc etc). The breakfasts that were included were amazing, I think my now husband had at least two plates each morning. Rehearsal dinner was outside and was also amazing. We hosted a lunch our wedding day as well and that was delicious and such a nice touch (another one of Carol's great ideas!). One thing I really love about the Inn is that it made our whole wedding weekend like a giant sleepover with all of our closest family and friends. We took over the entire premises and it was just like being at home. I can't think of a single thing that went wrong. The rooms are well appointed and comfortable, especially the bigger rooms in the carriage house. We ate dinner and stayed before our wedding too, and we just truly loved every minute. We live locally and so many places around here have turned into "wedding factories" and I never got that vibe from the Inn or the staff. If I could give 6 stars I could. We love you guys!!!

The Red Clover Inn is truly one of a kind. The innkeeper, Carol, and the rest of the staff were so friendly and welcoming to us on our very first visit to the inn when we were shopping around for a venue. Carol took the time to sit down with us, answer all of our questions, and invited us to dine and stay the night at the inn. This experience completely won us over, as we had time to fall in love with the property, the beautiful rooms and the food! During our year of wedding planning, Carol was consistently available and responsive to our questions and needs. We also hired the tent company, photographer and florist recommended by Carol, and each of these vendors were FANTASTIC. She has great judgement and will do anything it takes to help you create your vision for the day. Our wedding weekend was perfect. Almost all of our friends and family commented that it was one of the best weddings they had ever attended and that is largely due to the beautiful, peaceful setting in the mountains and the amazing staff at the inn. The attention to detail was impeccable, as Carol beautifully displayed signs, flowers, photographs and homemade gifts throughout the inn and tent. She also served as our coordinator and was incredibly attentive and helpful on our wedding day, making sure any issues that arose were immediately taken care of. Jake, Thomas and Dylan, the chef and bartenders, also helped us make a unique and personalized menu for our guests, which everyone loved. My wife and I 1000% recommend the Red Clover Inn, and look forward to visiting for weekend getaways in the coming years.

The staff here have become second family to us. Everyone who attended our wedding was in awe of the inn and of course the food. We had a BBQ rehearsal dinner in the tavern, served family style everyone went back for seconds! On our wedding day we started with a (not your average buffet) breakfast, smoked bacon, fresh fruit, Belgium waffles smothered in Vermont maple syrup and crispy potatoes. Lunch was served to the bridal party in Claire's. Overlooking the grounds of the inn and with views of Pico mountain, you have to stay in this room. After a flawless ceremony orchestrated by the innkeeper Carol we enjoyed venison meatballs, prosciutto wrapped shrimp, baked Brie and flatbreads during cocktail hour while each moment was being captured by Gabby of Winding Roads Photography. With 4 wine choices, Harpoon's "Octoberfest" and Crisp refreshing Champlain cider on tap our guests were delighted at the drink selections. After being introduced by our DJ Michael Coppinger of MC sounds everyone was seated for a most memorable wedding feast. The tent pole was adorned with stunning lighted tree branches, tables were elegantly decorated with beautiful flowers, lanterns and softly lit with birch tree candle holders. (Thanks to Trish of Pittsfield Garden Center) Our meal Began with the best corn chowder I've ever tasted next to a perfectly dressed salad. Followed by a choice of salmon, chicken or filet. I don't think a single plate went back to the kitchen with a morsel of food left on it! Chef Jake and Sous Chef Mike have set the standard for Vermont chefs. Their passion and finesse shine with each course served and their love for Vermont is apparent with the addition of local and fresh ingredients in each dish. Obviously I can't say enough about our experiences at the clover.
If you're looking to have a wedding that your guests will rave about for years to come you have found it at the Red Clover!

My husband and I are from Western Mass and found the Red Clover Inn online as we were searching for wedding venues. We could go on and on about all the things we love about the inn!
Throughout our year-long engagement, we were in touch with Carol and other staff at the inn to plan the details of our big day. Carol was beyond helpful, friendly, and professional. She connected us to vendors and always made herself available via email and phone. We returned for two more visits after our initial tour to sit down with Carol and the chef to plan out the weekend. My husband and I wanted a very personalized wedding and the inn made us feel like they truly cared about us. We never felt like we had to pick from options they offered like many places make you do. Rather, we worked together and with Carol's advice and suggestions they helped our vision come to life. I left every meeting or phone conversation with Carol feeling very calm because I knew our wedding was in good hands.
When we arrived Friday afternoon of our wedding weekend along with our wedding party and immediate family (who all stayed at the inn) I realized everything would be taken care of for us. Carol and the other innkeepers set everything up beautifully. The staff at the inn are all extremely competent, professional, friendly, and helpful. They worked together to make all aspects of the weekend (including the rehearsal dinner, breakfast and lunch Saturday, the wedding dinner, and breakfast Sunday) go smoothly. There was not one tiny detail of the weekend that we weren't thrilled with, and we received many compliments from guests who were impressed with the beauty of the inn, the delicious food, and professional staff.
We can’t say enough about how happy we are that we found the Red Clover Inn and chose to have our wedding there. It is now a very special place to us and our families and we will return for years to come.

We couldn't have asked for anything more from all of the staff at the Red Clover Inn, and - in particular - the wonderful Carol! We had been to the Inn for long weekends in previous years during the fall and spring, and after meeting with Carol to discuss options, quickly realized that we had found an ideal location for the wedding.
As we were incorporating two different nationalities between the families (British / American), we wanted to make sure that traditional elements of both were included in both the rehearsal, the ceremony, and the reception, and the staff went above-and-beyond to help us add all kinds of elements to build this theme. We had great flexibility with our menu and drinks planning, and found that Carol and the staff were fantastic at helping us shape our own vision of the weekend, but at the same time offering useful tips and guidance from experience, to make sure that things went as smoothly as possible.
If you are looking for a venue where you can relax, enjoy all of the different aspects of the occasion in one location (we were blessed with nice weather, so got our wish of being able to get married outside under the beautiful old apple tree on the lawn), then there is no better option than the Red Clover Inn!

Several years ago, my now wife, Nikki, and I sought out the Red Clover Inn as a winter weekend getaway. We were immediately impressed by the world class restaurant and the absolutely incredible staff. We made it a point to return often, so when we got engaged, there was only one place we wanted to get married- the Red Clover Inn. The intimate setting of the Inn was exactly what we were seeking in a winter wedding in Vermont. It was warm, cozy, and inviting, even further it had that rustic elegance, perfectly capturing the essence of Vermont.
When we started planning the wedding with the staff we issued a bit of a challenge up front; see, Nikki and I are both foodies, so we wanted to do something a bit different with dinner- the choice between two different 5-course tasting menus, with wine pairings, for 50 people. This is a tall order for any venue, especially when you start adding dishes like quail, rabbit, and venison to a menu. I can honestly say that I've never seen such a perfectly executed service. Every guest that we spoke to noted that our wedding was the most special event they had been to; and the Red Clover Inn made it all possible.
Not enough can be said of the staff. Seven stars wouldn't be a high enough rating. More than staff, they are like family to us now. They went above and beyond at every turn to ensure that our wedding day was the most special day of our lives. I could continue on about every little detail that they handled, but as an example of their acute attention to detail: there were a number of tea lights on our head table. At one point during dinner one of them went out, before I could even say something there was a new lit candle on the table.
This is truly a special place, and now that we have been married there, we have even more reasons to go back.

We could not have picked a better place for my daughter's wedding than this! The staff at the Inn bent over backwards to make the day perfect for us. They were so friendly, it was like being a part of the family with all of them. The accommodations at the Inn were so cozy and clean. The food prepared by Chef Colin was absolutely delicious. Charlotte and Carol, the Innkeepers, were on top of everything and made the entire weekend for all of us just amazing. The staff worked with us every step of the way to have a wedding that dreams are made of. They even made sure that Colin baked new cakes the day of the wedding and Carol decorated them to replace the real wedding cake that collapsed while being set up. Where else could you go and have that taken care of?!! And they did all of this without us even knowing what was going on as the kids were saying vows!! We cannot say enough good things about the Red Clover Inn. I almost wish we had another wedding to plan just so we could have it there again! Absolutely, positively the BEST place to have a wedding!! Thank you for making my daughter's wedding perfect!!!

Carol and her team at the Red Clover were terrific. We were planning our wedding from across the country and she was gracious enough to plan details with my mom in person, and to spend time on the phone and over email with us to make sure that our September wedding was perfect.
During the weekend, she completely put us at ease; she was so relaxed, encouraging, supportive, and knowledgeable about scheduling and details that it just was so nice to not have to think about all those last-minute details because we knew she had it handled. Honestly, she and her team created a beautiful landscape for our wedding - by collaborating with other vendors, adding special fall touches to the tent and to the inn, and just being incredibly accommodating and thoughtful - that the whole scene just really exceeded our expectations. She helped us think through all sorts of details that wouldn’t have been on our radar, and made it feel like we were creating a really unique, special wedding. We received so many compliments on the venue and the food, and it was all thanks to Carol, chef Jake, and the rest of their team.
Carol was so relaxed and easy going that it was hard to stress about anything, which made the weekend relaxed and laidback - just what we wanted. We loved that we established an easy rapport with her right from the get go, and that she could joke around with us and our family and friends during the rehearsal and the entire weekend, really. Our family and friends who stayed at the inn were just blown away by the service, the friendliness of the team, and the beauty of the location. It was the perfect spot for our wedding - small, intimate, very Vermont. And Carol’s relationships with local/area vendors were so important in getting everything we needed to the Red Clover for the wedding. We loved having everything right there on site and just can’t recommend the Red Clover enough. Thank you so much!
