Vito is the best!

I used Vito as my florist after he did the florals at my brother's wedding. He does amazing work at a reasonable price and is extremely knowledgeable. He understands and works with you on your vision, and is also kind and enjoyable to be around. I was blown away by how everything looked on my wedding day!

We love vito!

WE LOVE VITO! He was referred to us through a friend of a friend and we couldn't be luckier that he was! Our wedding was a VISION. Our STUNNING birch chuppah, the candle lighting/lanterns down the aisle, my bouquet, my bridesmaids bouquets, the boutonnieres, our cake, the sweetheart table, our wedding sign, and MORE! From the moment we first met with Vito, we knew he was the best there is. He was friendly, professional, knowledgable, experienced, passionate about his work, and a really awesome person! He also truly worked within our budget. We cannot recommend him enough and would choose him over and over again!

Wedding Day

Vito is the best! He has a lot of experience and is very detail oriented while listening to what I was looking for. He was able to provide options based on our budget and everything turned out beautifully. He does the delivering himself on the day of the wedding which is so personal and special. Pick out some flowers, describe your likes and dislikes, and voilà, Vito will create a beautiful composition for you. My matron of honor and I absolutely loved our bouquets. As we were holding our bouquets and looking at the wristlets and boutonnières, my matron of honor exclaimed, “He out did himself!” Our table arrangements were vibrant, and gave a cheerful ambiance to our daytime wedding.

Gorgeous florist

Vito is amazing and his work is so beautiful! He listens to your ideas and makes them a reality. Vito created the most gorgeous Chuppah for our ceremony; all the guests were commenting. I visited eight florists before meeting with him and I can say with certainty that working with Potted Geranium would be one of the best decisions you could make. Everyone we have recommended him to all booked him for their wedding as well.

Highly Recommend!

It was an absolute pleasure working with Vito as our florist! From the moment we walked into The Potted Geranium, Vito made us feel at ease. We shared a few photos with him and discussed ideas we liked, such as lots of greenery and backdrops with hanging flowers. Vito is very attentive to detail and listened to all of our ideas. He is so patient and really takes his time understanding your vision! He also provided very helpful suggestions, such as color combinations and other details that fit our style.
Since we were having a multicultural wedding with a lengthy ceremony, it was really important to us that we had a beautiful—yet simple—backdrop that would highlight the ceremony stage/space. Vito went above and beyond by creating a unique look of birch trees, draped with gold fabric and hanging flowers. The ceremony stage, aisle decor, and reception centerpieces looked INCREDIBLE, and our guests were impressed! Vito also made the most perfect wedding garlands, replicating a picture we shared down to every last detail! Vito is extremely talented, kind, and professional. We highly recommend working with him! You won’t be disappointed!

Classy, tasteful, elegant

Considering I am not a flower person, I have never loved flowers more than when I was able to work with Vito. He was attentive, creative, and so kind throughout the entire planning experience. He knew exactly what we wanted our day to look like. All of the arrangements were classy, tasteful, and elegant from the aisle decorations, my bouquet, the Chupah, and table arrangements. I highly recommend him for any occasion.

The Potted Geranium is a great choice

I cannot recommend Vito at The Potted Geranium enough as our wedding florist. He listened incredibly well to everything we asked for and created the most beautiful flower designs and set up of lanterns and candles. His designs were honestly even more beautiful than what I had imagined. He also went above and beyond to help us set up a Sofreh Aghd and created a surprise bouquet for me at the request of my husband the day of the wedding, and he even set up beautiful string lighting for us. I appreciated how calm he was and it is clear it comes from many years of experience designing for weddings. I feel that there is nothing he could not handle and I’m so happy we had the opportunity to work with him.

Vito is so amazing to work with and our flowers couldn’t have been more beautiful. With just a few pictures and ideas, Vito was able to see our vision and create flowers and arrangements that were exactly what we had imagined. Vito and the Potted Geranium team were an absolute pleasure to work with and we could not have asked for a better florist for our wedding (July 2018, Liberty House). I am someone who loves flowers and I have very specific taste when it comes to florals, and Vito is so creative and understood my vision PERFECTLY. I did not have to worry about a thing or get too specific with what I wanted because I knew Vito understood me and what I was envisioning. Vito had so many amazing ideas and he literally made my vision come to life - plus more. His style is so tasteful, elegant, classy, and beautiful, and a perfect mix of modern and on trend yet classic and timeless. The table arrangements were absolutely gorgeous and the chuppah he and the team made literally blew me away - SO stunning. The boutonnieres and bridesmaid bouquets were perfect and so gorgeous and my bouquet was incredible - he even found me two AMAZING peonies for my bouquet since he knew they were my favorite. Vito is also the nicest person and so warm, personable and easy to work with - we never had to worry about a thing and he was so responsive and thorough throughout the whole planning process. AMAZING! Vito was such a joy to work with right from day one! He took my ideas and transformed them into my dreams. He helped me find my vision and then he enhanced it and went above and beyond. He was there every time I called, he was ready and set for my wedding with time to spare. Professionalism, character, charm, and talent are only a few words I can happily use to describe my experience with Vito. My mom used him for my bridal shower centerpieces and even though they were small (how my mom wanted them) they were still perfect! I would recommend him for everything floral and I will continue to use him for all of my events in the future!!

I can’t say enough wonderful things about The Potted Geranium. Vito is an absolute pleasure to work with and did an amazing job for our wedding on November 19, 2016 at the Grove. He is extremely professional, talented, personable, reasonable and accommodating. He took one look at me and knew what kind of bouquet would be perfect for me. I showed him the colors of my girls’ dresses and he matched them perfectly to the flowers. The centerpieces were beautiful and exceeded my expectations. They looked magnificent in The Grove’s ballroom. Vito was familiar with both the church and the venue, which was a huge plus. He knew exactly where we needed flowers, and where we could cut back. I am so happy I found The Potted Geranium. Vito and his crew came recommended by my photographer. He was the last florist I went to and it would have saved me a lot of time and trouble if I went to him first! His creativity and eye for perfection helped bring my vision to life. Not only will Vito put together the most beautiful centerpieces and bouquets, but he is also beyond reasonable with his prices. I was quoted 2 times the price Vito quoted me by another florist. Vito genuinely cares about giving the bride exactly what she wants while keeping a budget in mind. My bouquet was absolutely gorgeous and he even used some of my grandmother's brooches to make it extra special for me. The ballroom was simply majestic and took my breath away, I couldn't have envisioned it to be any better than it was!

Vito and the team at the Potted Geranium are extremely talented! I met with Vito twice and provided pictures from Pinterest. On the second visit he made a sample bouquet and centerpiece. He was able to bring my vision to life! He is very knowledgeable about flowers that are in season and which are more expensive/less expensive. He is familiar with many of the wedding venues in the Morris/Essex county area as well.

We went to the Potted Geranium as per a recommendation from a friend. Vito was so helpful and responsive throughout the entire process. He really loves what he does and truly cares about each and every one of his clients. He answered e-mails very quickly and was always available to answer any questions or to give sound advice. He came to my parent’s house the day before the wedding to set up some decorations. He came to my house the morning of the wedding and gave out the bouquets. He set up our church very nicely, and brought the arrangements from the altar to our venue. He was so helpful and really contributed to the look we were going for at our venue. His centerpieces were beautiful, and reasonable priced. He took my vision for my bouquet and made it come to life. I highly recommend Vito at the Potted Geranium!

I loved working with Vito!!! He was so sweet to us and so accommodating. I showed him ONE picture of a bouquet I liked, by the next visit, he had constructed the most beautiful arrangement that was perfect for my husband and I. Vito is amazing! He is one of the most hard-working and naturally artistic people I have ever met. He is wonderfully creative and is able to know exactly what you want even before you know what you want. Upon meeting Vito, My husband and I knew he would make our wedding beautiful. The centerpieces and bouquets were the most beautiful I had ever seen. We wanted bright and bold and Vito nailed it with our gorgeous flowers. He went out of his way to set up my do-it-yourself decor and table numbers and traveled to 3 different places to make sure the lady's flowers got to the hotel, the men's flowers got to the church and then went to set up the reception venue. He's a rock star. I will never forget him or the amazing job he did.

We shopped around with out any luck at a few northern NJ florists before Vito was recommended to me by a family friend and we went down to chat with him about wedding arrangements. He presented us with excellent options and suggestions and in the end I had some truly memorable table arrangements and bouquets. His had the most affordable offer as well. He was very available via email if I had questions or suggestions. Between him knowing what it was I wanted before I even knew it and his sincere enthusiasm, he was easily one of my favorite vendors were worked with during our wedding and I can't recommend him enough.

Vito was by far our favorite vendor to work with for our wedding. He understood my vision from the very beginning, and did a wonderful job of keeping it within our budget. Vito is THE BEST! One of my favorite parts of planning our wedding was choosing our flowers. He got me from the start and never once was I worried about what our flowers were going to look like. The first time I saw the samples for our wedding, I became more excited than ever for our wedding day to arrive! Our bouquets were GORGEOUS and our centerpieces were absolutely beautiful. He worked with our budget, but yet he went above and beyond for us. He actually helped us save money, which was great. We received so many compliments on the flowers and my bridesmaids couldn't wait to hold their bouquets. Last June I used Thr Potted Geranium for my wedding. They did a fabulous job! When I originally met with them, I felt like they got to know what I wanted right away. Vito was the best!!!!! From the second we sat down with him we knew he was going to do a magnificent job on my flowers. I gave him some ideas on what I wanted and he went from there. The Potted Geranium, and namely, Vito are the best. The absolute best. While we didn't personally meet any of his staff, Vito was the best to deal with. He understood exactly what we wanted and made his opinion known to help guide us when we were lost. I could not recommend another florist more highly. He was just quite literally one of our favorite vendors to deal with. And on top of all of this so many guests commented on how wonderful our venue looked because of the the lanterns and flowers.

Vito did an amazing job helping me choose the perfect arrangement for my wedding day. I was nervous incorporating blue flowers for a winter wedding, but after sitting down with Vito he prepared beautiful samples for me to view. He knew more about the church ceremony than I did and helped me get full usage out of my flowers. From knowing that flowers cannot remain on the alter during advent to suggesting that we offer roses to our mothers during the sign of peace his attention to detail made our wedding day memorable. We received many compliments on our centerpieces and guests were eager to take them home. I would highly recommend Vito for any occasion!

My husband and I were married on August 23rd and we were in love with our flowers!! I couldn’t have been more pleased with how the flowers came out. Vito did an outstanding job being able to create my wedding vision. We was great to work with and was able to create center pieces exactly how I had hoped, even staying within the budget we gave him. I loved that he also showed us a sample of exactly how the flowers would look on the wedding day so that we could either agree to it or request a change. Excellent flower shop and would highly recommend!

Vito is the absolute best!!! I had the pleasure of working with him for my wedding and I can honestly say he understood everything I wanted and executed it perfectly! Not only is he very professional but he is a joy to meet with! I wanted hydrangea bouquets which I was warned against from many friends because they are so delicate but Vito assured me that they would be perfect, and I am so happy I trusted him. They bouquets stayed beautiful for over a week past the wedding regardless of being in and out of water and passed around. Vito does such beautiful work, far more stunning than what is displayed on his website.

We worked with the owner Vito- and he did a beautiful job! He delivered the flowers and came to see us at the end of the evening. He was professional and made the process very easy-even with our many calls to add various elements. The bouquets were beautiful and I hated to put it down at the end of the evening. I was one of those brides that didn't want to spend lots of money on flowers so I was worried about finding a florist that could provide everything on a small budget. Vito was recommended to us by our venue, Park Avenue Club. We knew after our initial meeting that he would provide amazing service and results. His creativity and attentiveness to what we wanted was evident throughout the planning process. He created arrangements and decorations that would work for both an outdoor or indoor ceremony. I never had to worry about how my flowers would turn out. I'm preserving my bouquet as it is so breathtaking.

Amazing flower shop. Vito knew what I wanted before we even spoke. He worked off a few random pictures I sent him and put together the bouquet exactly as I imagined it. He was wonderful during our meeting and covered every detail with me. Not only did he travel close to an hour to my venue, he also stayed until the end of the ceremony to ensure that the ceremony flowers were moved to the right spot afterwards. On top of it all, he helped me and my dad calm down seconds before walking down the aisle. Vito is spectacular at what he does.

Vito did such an amazing job with the flowers at our recent wedding. He was recommended to me by a friend whose wedding I attended and I could not have been happier. He was so nice and such a pleasure to work with, and the flowers and chuppah were absolutely gorgeous. From the first time we met with Vito, he was extremely professional and thorough. Vito made sure that our flowers and centerpieces would be exactly what we wanted by creating samples of centerpieces and bouquets and modifying each of them until he achieved the exact look we were going for.

Our wedding was a few days after hurricane Sandy hit NJ, and Vito called us immediately after the storm to reassure us that he made sure he got the flowers in before the storm hit. He let us know that they would still be good for the wedding, and that despite not having any power, he could put everything together in the dark if he had to. On top of that, his prices are excellent. The flowers and arrangements were delivered and set up on time at each locations, and they were absolutely gorgeous. We could not have been happier with our choice of florist.

Vito is just outstanding and an absolute pleasure to deal with. Nothing was too much trouble. He brought a tremendous amount of creativity to our centerpieces, chuppah and overall decor to make our venue glow. Our guests are still talking about the chuppah which is an integral symbol in the Jewish wedding ceremony. I couldn't more highly recommend him!!!

This place is FABULOUS! The owner Vito is a savior! He knows what you want before you even say it outloud. He is quick. thinks VERY fast. and super friendly and works magic with flowers. The morning of my wedding he was in and out with all the bouquets with extreme proffesionalism. everything is packaged and named for who and what.
IF there is something you dont like he immediately listens to you and changes it to your liking.

I WOULD DEFINITELY recommend him to anyone in NJ

Vito was amazing to work with. Honestly, I do not know a lot about flowers but I had an idea of what I wanted and he took our vision and brought it to life – the best part we stayed within budget! Anytime I emailed Vito and he was so helpful. We had some last minute additions, including flowers for the church and for the cake and although I never saw a sample they were exactly what I would have imagined. Mine and the Bridesmaids bouquets were beautiful! We heard about a Vito through friends and we would also recommend him to anyone!

Vito at Potted Geranium Florist was an amazing person to work with. He was so understanding from start to finish. Vito worked with us on our budget for the wedding. The flowers were fresh and lasted all day long. The flower bouquets for the bride and matron of honor were out of this world. The corsages for both mothers were so beautiful. The boutineers for all of the wedding party matched their partners dresses wonderfully. Vito is so energetic and has an eye for detail. He was very professional the whole way through. To say Vito at the Potted Geranium is an amazing florist is an understatement. When we met for the initial consultation, he completely understood what I wanted and delivered ABOVE and BEYOND my expectations. My bouquet was stunning, made up of white and green flowers, with my bridesmaids having complimenting green and white bouquets. His vision for the whole picture is wonderful.

The centerpieces were truly dazzling. Tall, perfectly blooming forsythia with hanging crystal votives made the entire ballroom sparkle, but also added a sign that spring was on the way! I will recommend him to anyone that will listen, as I believe his work is that amazing, plus he is a great person to work with!!!

The Potted Geranium is a great florist! Vito truly loves what he does and pours himself into his work, making sure that everyone is happy with the outcome! Let me just tell you, when I started the process, I didn't so much care about the flowers as much as the other details. However, once I started working with Vito and hearing his ideas and seeing the samples he made, it became the one thing I was most excited to see on my wedding day. I was completely blown away by everything from the church to the bouquets to the boutenierres to the centerpieces. His work is so remarkable. It was truly a joy and a pleasure to work with him and I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a florist! He is meticulous and thinks of every little detail so you worry about nothing!!!!

Vito at the Potted Geranium was great. He was so enthusiastic and helpful throughout the process. Although we had some ideas, we are by no means flower people. Vito worked with our ideas and offered a bunch of great suggestions of his own. Everything from the bouquets to the centerpieces and other arrangements were gorgeous. We even had him make us a gift card box to match our decor, which was perfect. We heard of Vito through a friend who got married and will continue to "pay it forward" with referrals to our other friends.

We used Vito at the Potted Geranium for the "personal" flowers for our wedding - all bouquets and boutonnieres and corsages on the recommendation from the family friend we were working with on other flowers.

While it was a few weeks after reaching out before I could meet with him, I so appreciated his flexible hours. He's obviously doing events on the weekends, but was more than happy to be available in the weekday evenings so I didn't have to take time out of my workday to meet with him. This was extremely refreshing in the world of wedding vendors who don't always understand that you need to work to be able to pay them! His pricing was very fair, and also transparent, which we didn't see enough of in wedding planning.

I'd requested a particular flower, and he was upfront with me that he'd try his hardest to get it, but it was very peculiar and not a standard floral (toad lilies). In the end, he wasn't able to find it from his variety of vendors, but I know he put forth the best effort possible. Ended up going with Fall Irises instead and the result was gorgeous. All of the flowers held up wonderfully throughout the day, and mine was looking stunning even the next afternoon, despite a 9am delivery on wedding day. Definitely recommend working with Vito, who clearly loves what he does and is an expert!
