Megan is fantastic! She was great to work with. I am not super into make up and don’t like to look unnatural. I had my make up done by her at another wedding I was in and it was the first time I had ever gotten my make up done. I loved it! When I got married I was so excited to have her do it again. She did a phenomenal job. I loved my make up and still felt I looked natural and like myself. And bonus that I got to work with both her and her husband, Tyler who took my photos. Would highly recommend Megan! -

Megan is the absolute best!!
Megan is AMAZING! She just recently did my wedding makeup trial and I could not have been happier. From the second I walked in, Megan made me feel so comfortable. Even though we were meeting for the first time, it was like I had known her for years. She did my make up EXACTLY how I wanted and how I pictured it for my big day all while sharing our favorite Netflix shows and home improvement projects. I did take my engagement pictures after the trial and my makeup looked INCREDIBLE! I felt great, I looked great, and I can’t wait for the wedding day! Thank you for making me feel so so pretty Megan!
Wedding Update: The day was absolutely perfect and a HUGE part of that was because of Megan. Megan is so personable, funny, sweet, and talented. Her positive energy and calming spirit are exactly what you need on your wedding day. My entire bridal party looked STUNNING and were all super happy with their experience. Megan is hands down the best makeup artist I have ever seen. She is able to take inspo pics and mimic them in a way that is perfect for you. I already have bridesmaids recommending her to friends and I personally could not recommend her enough. -

Megan is absolutely amazing and I would 100% recommend her to anyone looking to book makeup for their wedding. She can really do what ever look you are going for! I requested a more natural look for my trial run and Megan delivered perfectly. For my wedding day, I last minute decided to go with a more glam look and Megan understood exactly what I was going for. She gave me soft dewy glam without looking cakey or packed-on. My makeup was flawless and it lasted all night. She is seriously the best! -

Megan is absolutely incredible. From the moment that I first visited her website I knew I already liked her. Once I spoke to her on the phone, she was so kind and knowledgable. Then I met her in person for my makeup trial and I cannot say enough kind words. Her demeanor is so kind and calming and instantly makes you feel comfortable. She finished the makeup trial and it was everything I could have asked for plus even better! For the actual wedding, Megan was a calming energy and everyone that had their makeup done looked amazing and were all very happy. I would book Megan over and over again - she was amazing and my wedding make up was just perfect!! -

Before I was even engaged I had saved Megan's work and knew I wanted her to do my makeup for my wedding. When we had our first consultation phone call I felt even better about my decision! Megan is so friendly and made me feel completely at ease talking about my vision! As someone who only knows the basics of makeup, I felt completely confident that she could make me feel like an elevated bridal version of myself! She did my engagement makeup, first look photoshoot makeup, and wedding day makeup and I can honestly say I have never had so much fun or felt at ease getting my makeup done! I felt like a enhanced, confident, version of myself which is every bride's dream! The makeup lasted all day everytime and was so beautiful I didn't want to take it off! I'm so thankful she was a part of my wedding day and you don't want to miss out on having her be a part of yours! -

They say that you feel this rush of nervousness the second you sit down for your make-up; and BOY, is that true. I am so glad that Megan was the girl that was with me when I started to get nervous during the day of my wedding. She was so warm, professional, knowledgeable of what she does. She made me (and my bridesmaids) feel so beautiful the day of my wedding! My husband and I had a Catholic wedding that started at 12PM with a 3 hour break for the 5PM reception - my family and friends asked me if I had a make-up touch up in between (I did not because we didn't have time since we were doing photos in the hottest day of the week I must say) because my make-up looked fresh! My make-up did not feel heavy at all, even with all the sweating we did we did! I have no idea how Megan did it but she did AMAZING. I felt so beautiful the whole day/night and you will make a huge mistake if you don't hire her! She is the best in town! -

Megan is the absolute best! She is a magician with airbrush, it looks so natural and beautiful. All my bridesmaids LOVED their makeup and said it's the best makeup they have ever gotten done. Megan is the woman for the job! I was somewhat hesitant about getting my makeup professionally done because I don't wear a lot of makeup in my everyday life, but Megan was recommended to me for her talent to make brides look perfectly done up and still look like themselves. And that's exactly what she did for me. She was very responsive to any feedback I had after the trial, and come wedding day, I felt the perfect balance of natural and beautiful with that extra "oomph." Megan is amazing! She is extremely easy to work with and very kind and sweet. She feels like your biggest fan on your big day. I've been lucky enough to have my make up done by her twice. She did my make up for me when I was a bridesmaid in a friends wedding and once I got engaged she was one of the first vendors that I booked. I don't wear a ton of make up daily and was uncomfortable that I may not look like myself. She was able to customize a more natural look and still make me feel like a bride. The make up lasted all night (even through the tears) and looked so good. I highly recommend her to everyone!! Incredible Natural Makeup
One big stress in wedding planning is figuring out who is going to do your makeup. We searched everywhere in the area to find someone that could do a simple and natural look. Then we found Megan and all of our worries melted away. She is so sweet and does a flawless job. We all looked so incredible the day of the wedding and everyone was talking about how good our faces looked the whole day. Haha! I got married outside during a huge thunderstorm (we’re talking tornado watch) and my makeup stayed on SO well. It didn’t even look like I was in the rain. Megan is extremely personable and just awesome to be around. Everyone loved her and I cannot recommend her enough! -

Where do I begin? Megan was absolutely amazing to work with for my wedding makeup. I booked her Deluxe Bridal package and am so happy I did. From the first phone call to discuss what I was looking for, to my engagement photo makeup, wedding day trial, and actual wedding day- Megan was super professional, easy to chat with, and created looks that I absolutely felt my best in! She is EXTREMELY TALENTED. My absolute favorite part of seeing Megan was her attention to prepping my skin prior to any makeup. She rubs lotion on your skin prior to any makeup and you will feel like a celebrity! I am beyond grateful for this sweet gal, she helped to make my wedding day perfect! The Best Experience!
Hiring Megan was easily one of the best decisions I made for our big day! I usually don't wear a lot of makeup so it was important to me that my friends and family still recognize me as a bride. Megan knocked it out of the park! I felt like a more glamorous version of myself and loved it. My now-husband couldn't take his eyes off of me and I got countless compliments on my look. Megan made me feel super comfortable and was a great addition to the "getting ready" team. We had so much in the bridal suite! There isn't a single thing I would change about my experience as she made it so easy and fun. By the end of my wedding journey, she really felt less like a vendor and more like a friend. The Porcelain Bride is run by Megan Whalen, and she is fabulous! I tried out other makeup artists before going to her, and none of them gave me the look I wanted. I am not someone who wears makeup on a daily basis so I went in to my wedding makeup trial wanting to still look like myself and still be able to see my freckles. Megan is the most talented makeup artist I’ve ever worked with! She is so sweet and listens to exactly what you want for your special occasion. Most Genuine Artist I know
Not even sure where to start BUT Megan is hands down the BEST makeup artist I have EVER had. I unfortunately, had someone else do my engagement photos and it just didn't look like me. Pretty but who doesn't want to look like themselves on their wedding day. So my photographer, suggested I try out his wife & she didn't disappoint!! I felt the prettiest, and when I looked at myself I saw myself, the prettiest version of myself. I truly don't have enough words to say how I felt on my wedding day, but I will say that my wedding was in March & although it has taken me this long to write a review SHE IS THAT GOOD THAT I STILL REMEMBER EXACTLYYYY what I looked like and would have her do it again and again. :) -

Megan did an amazing job with my makeup! I chose the package deal which included makeup for my engagement pictures, a trial for my wedding day, and makeup for my actual wedding day. I loved having my makeup done for my engagement pictures as I felt more comfortable in front of the camera as I knew Megan had done a great job. The trial for my wedding day was also fun as I was able to connect more with Megan. She listened to what I wanted for my big day, and highlighted my features that I was most comfortable with. For my wedding day, I got married on the hottest day in August in Florida. My makeup didn’t budge the entire night, through pictures, the ceremony and reception. She also gives you a little lip gloss to take with you for touch-ups if needed. She really made me feel beautiful for my wedding, as well as my bridesmaids. I highly recommend Megan! ❤️ She is a very sweet and loving, and she definitely will make you feel your best for your big day! -

Megan was such a lovely person to work with! I contacted her only a few months before my wedding, after a trial experience gone horribly wrong. I was so flustered and worried, because I was a destination bride and wouldn't be able to meet with Megan or do a trial with her until two days before my wedding!
Well I shouldn't have worried at all. Megan is such a professional she put me right at ease with her friendly demeanor and excellent cosmetic skills. She's so easy to talk to you'll feel like you've been friends for years.
She uses high quality make up that lasted in the muggy South Georgia heat for literally 12 hours. What more can you ask for?? Affordable, friendly, talented, I would highly recommend her to any Jacksonville or South Georgia brides!!! -

I was the maid of honor in a wedding and Megan was the makeup artist for the whole wedding party. After having a bad experience with makeup artists from a previous wedding I was in, the bride and I both did a makeup trial with Megan before the wedding. She was amazing! The service was quick, she listened to what the bride wanted, and she was able to match my super light skin with no problem. She also walked us through what the process would be for the day of the wedding, and that was even better than we could have expected. Not only were her services awesome, she was super fun to be around. It felt like she was part of the wedding party, which made the whole experience run smoothly. The day of, there were six bridesmaids, the bride, and the moms all getting makeup done. Megan expertly did everyone's makeup and had us all looking amazing. Because she uses airbrush, the makeup stayed put through all the happy tears, dancing, and after partying. I loved that she gave each of us a tiny tube of lipstick to touch up as the night went on. I cannot recommend her enough! -

Working with Megan was quite literally the most relaxing part of my entire wedding experience. From the moment she took the time to speak with me during our phone consultation I felt like I had a good friend in my corner determined help me my very best on my wedding day. She was friendly, patient, funny, and really understanding of my concerns and the way I wanted to look that day. During our make up trial we laughed like if we had been friends for years! She has a charm to her that puts you at ease and I just knew I could trust her to do a great job. She is someone who is truly passionate about make up this more than just a job for her and when she had me look in the mirror for the first time during our trial it showed. Tears welled up in my eyes because it was everything I wanted and more. I looked like myself but with my best features accented and as someone who is very picky and precise like I am for her to nail the look on the first try was a dream come true for me. I would highly recommend working with Megan for all of you make up needs. She is a true artist and wonderful person who was a pleasure to work with for both me and my bridesmaids. I haven't even had my wedding day makeup done by Megan yet, so far we've only done my engagement shoot makeup but that's all it took for me to know I made the absolute best decision choosing her as my makeup artist. I've never been so thrilled with a purchased service ever in my life. I didn't take it off for HOURS after the shoot because her work was just too beautiful and it made me feel amazing. She's so upbeat, fun, cute, witty I can't wait to work with her further. It was my first time with air brush and false lashes - she explained everything, gave me advice, gave me extra product for touch up and a mini sponge so I could touch up after taking my glasses off for some pictures. She's the best. -

Megan was incredible to work with! I could not have dreamed of having a better experience on my wedding day! I really wanted to work with someone who would make me feel bridal but not overly made-up. She brought my vision to life. I have sensitive skin, and she also guided me through that making me feel comfortable and I had no reactions. I felt like I was in the best of hands and she was also so fun to spend time with (this is important). You want to enjoy your wedding vendors and once I found Megan it was like everyone else also fell into place. She recommended my hair stylist who we all loved too. She has great energy and I recommend doing the trial run with her. Meghan is the absolute sweetest and most talented makeup artist! My biggest fear about the makeup for my wedding was the dreaded “orange” look or the plastered “too much” look. I am so happy I used Megan with The Porcelain Bride to do me and my closest girls makeup on my wedding day. Not only did Megan work with me (I live out of state) on a makeup trial day, she went above and beyond to make sure my makeup was just how I wanted it for my special day. She has so much grace and truly made my day so nice with her sweet personality! My bridesmaids told me they had a great experience with Megan on morning of the wedding and how they loved their makeup looks! Megan is one of the best in the makeup industry and has an unbelievable skill and talent! I highly recommend her and hopefully can use her again for future events. Thank you Megan! -

Book Megan Today!!
Makeup was one of the last items I scheduled for our wedding and, after speaking to many other artists, I was finally recommended to Megan. She was available for my day, allowed me (at last minute's notice) to schedule a trial and able to come on-site for my wedding. I was looking for a natural airbrushed look for myself & my girls, to which I was not disappointed. Her work is beautiful and lasts throughout the day - tears and all! I was highly impressed and happy to have her as my wedding day artist. One other thing I want to mention is that she has the friendliest attitude and is so easy to work with! We have the 'dog mom' thing in common, too, so that may make me just a little biased :) but seriously, book her ASAP!! -

Megan is super talented and awesome to work with! I have never looked better than I did on my wedding days (I had a Cambodian wedding and a “white dress” wedding). She specializes in a “natural but enhanced” look, which was exactly what I wanted - I looked like myself, but the best version of myself. For the Cambodian wedding, Megan applied my makeup at 7am and by midnight, my makeup still looked FLAWLESS - it hadn’t smudged, I didn’t look shiny, and even my lipstick didn’t need to be reapplied. The same happened during the “white dress” wedding. On top of all that, Megan is super easy to talk to (she even helped me write my vows LOL) and all my bridesmaids ADORED her. I will be requesting her help for all future makeup-worthy events and I highly recommend her to anyone who needs a makeup artist! -
