For one, getting married in the middle of a world pandemic has been one heck of a ride! As a pandemic bride, I was lost, confused, frustrated, etc. If it weren’t for The Point and their amazing staff, it would’ve all been a bust! They are the true FULL package! The food was catered by them, they provided the bartenders and alcohol, the outdoor ceremony location was BREATHTAKING, and the reception area has so much natural beauty that it was easy to work with. 10/10 would recommend checking it out if you’re looking to host a wedding or event. You will not be disappointed! Kevin, Janet, and Kelsey take care of their guests! (I know I missed one of you, I just can’t remember your name 😂) -

The staff at the Point were awesome...very accommodating to our requests, went above and beyond the day of to help with whatever was needed. We had 250+ guests, but dinner ran smoothly with everyone served through the buffet line in a very timely manner, and the food was very good. We received many compliments from our guests on the venue. Would definitely recommend. -

I thought that Kevin and Kelsey did a really great job helping us at our wedding. They were very responsive leading up to the wedding which as a bride I was very thankful for. Kelsey was super helpful during our meeting before the wedding day as well. The venue itself has so much stuff which takes a lot of pressure off us to buy decorations and such. The bridal room and groom room were both great spaces. I got a lot of compliments on the food that they had from their venue as well. I could say a lot more things about them, but overall I would really recommend the Point. -

AMAZING!! Wonderful Venue and Staff!!
The Pointe was the first and only venue I wanted to look at for our wedding! Such a great experience! The venue offers not only a beautiful facility, and great staff but you get a lot for your buck, and when you are getting married that is important. The getting-ready rooms are spacious and well thought out! We had a large wedding party and there was tons of room to stretch out and get ready. Lots of outlets for hair tools and comfortable sitting areas so you can visit. I loved that the bridal room had windows, so you can look out to the outdoor ceremony space! It was fun to watch guests get seated! :) The outdoor ceremony space is beautiful! It faces Augusta Lake! So Pretty! The Pointe sets up the chairs and the white drapes for the pergola and the DJ equipment. Kevin from the venue helped us with the DJ equipment for the ceremony! :) Thanks, Kevin! After a taste test, we decided to use the Pointe for the catering for our wedding and the food was Wonderful! We got the BBQ and it was delicious! We got a lot of compliments on the food! The Reception Space is beautiful! We had around 250 people and it was comfy! They have a big closet that has a ton of decoration items that you can you use in the reception space which was so nice! I would check out the about and faqs about the venue to see what is included! It's so much!! Especially the setup and cleanup of the venue space! The staff was wonderful and was available for questions and helped before and during the event! The Pointe Event Center gives you peace of mind on your wedding day! They handled so much! It allowed both sets of families to go visit with guests and enjoy the day!

Dream Wedding
I cannot recommend The Point enough!! Everything about this venue will allow you to have your dream wedding! Kevin, Kelsey, and Janet were amazing to work with. They were so nice, helpful, responsive, and patient throughout the entire process from months before the wedding and throughout our entire wedding night. The Point has a beautiful outdoor ceremony site and huge reception area that is beautifully decorated with lights. The Point caters AMAZING food, all our guests were raving about the food asking who catered it. They made alcohol services a breeze as well. Their bridal and groom suites are HUGE, beautiful, and amazing. We both had a great time the day of getting ready with the wedding parties before our ceremony. They also have a decorations closet you can use anything from, and the option for a photo booth as well. If you want a stress free wedding, don’t look any further. Book the Point, you won’t regret it!! -

We are blown away with the points event center! Family owned and ran, and they were all so attentive and caring about both of us and all wedding party. The venue was stunning, they did the MOST to make sure it was perfect day of. They also did our catering and their food was SO GOOD !!! Thank you so so much from Taylor & I both for everything you did for us for our special day. We highly HIGHLY recommend the points event center for your wedding or next event ! -

The Best Venue Ever!
The Unrein and Stacey Families were absolutely incredible and The Point was the most amazing venue we could have asked for. They were there every step of the way and to answer any question we had. I cannot recommend this venue enough!! -

I can’t begin to express my level of gratitude to the owner(s) of this venue. Kevin and his daughter Kelsey were so great to work with and very helpful in all the details of planning my daughter’s wedding. They definitely go above and beyond. From the day we went to look at this venue to the day of the ceremony they were very accessible to answer questions. They provided the tables/chairs, catering, bartender and even helped with the timing of details for the ceremony. I felt they were there for us through every step of the way. They truly made the day very smooth and stress free. -

My husband and I got married at The Point in June of 2021 and it was the BEST decision we ever made. I kid you not, our guests kept going on and on about how it was the best wedding they had ever been to. From the rooms to get ready in, to the beautiful ceremony lake view, to the amazing reception area, dance floor, lighting, decorations, photo booth, catering, bar, DJ… You name it, everything was perfect. I cannot recommend The Point enough. They were the best deal in the Wichita area for what all they provide - the other places we looked at were either cheap and LOOKED cheap, or they were super expensive and WAY less inclusive. The owners were also super nice, kept in touch with us, and answered all of our questions instantly. Take it from someone with no wedding planning experience who was stressing to the max about getting everything together, this place made my life so much easier! Our wedding day was everything I could have ever hoped for :) -

Amazing experience
The Point Event Center was the best venue I could have asked for! They were absolutely amazing in every way, shape and form. Kelsey was extremely accommodating and updated me on the weather situation throughout the week before our wedding. We received so many compliments on our food, which was catered by them. We also did alcohol through them. They were very knowledgeable with the amount, pricing, and customizing exactly what we wanted. The day before, while we were setting up, they were willing to help in anyway we needed. They have a closet full of decor you are able to use as well. The day of, Kevin was great at communicating about weather and he would do anything he could in order to make your day be the best it can be. You can't go wrong with booking this venue! They know what they are doing and they are AMAZING at it. -

Absolutely wonderful!
Oh my gosh. What can I say! Beyond being so inclusive with their pricing, decor closet, set up, and the facility are included, they're just so unbelievably nice! Everyone was so kind and wonderful to work with and they were incredibly accommodating what with the pandemic. Our reception ended up being MUCH smaller than originally planned and they let us lower our catering number just a few days before, which by the way their in house catering is AMAZING! I would hands down recommend The Point for any event and will definitely be booking them for other events in the future! -

We had our wedding at The Point Events Center on September 12, 2020. We had all of our food and alcohol catered through the venue as well so it made everything so much easier! The people who run the venue were so nice and helpful throughout the whole process. They have a lot of decorations that get leftover from other weddings and there were multiple occasions we asked if we’d be able to come by and look at them when we were figuring out the details for our wedding. And they were more than welcome to let us so that made things a lot easier! The layout of the venue is amazing. I loved that the reception area had a dance floor and there was plenty of room for people to move around. There is the option of renting the photo booth and it is definitely worth it! It was so much fun! The bathrooms were huge so that made it nice not having to worry about people waiting in line. The bar was great too. Since we did our catering through the Point, they also cleaned all the tables and picked all the trash up throughout the night so that’s another bonus! We wanted an outdoor ceremony and they have the option of paying to do that as well and it was beautiful. It turned out just how we imagined. I think the best part of the venue though is the bridal suite. It was so big and picture perfect! It has a kitchen with refrigerator and Keurig, a bathroom, mimosa bar, two rooms for getting dressed, two makeup rooms with mirrors on the walls, and a sitting area with a couch. The grooms suite was pretty nice too. It had a poker table, pool table, a changing room, a flat screen, and a bar cart. All of this and for a very decent price too! If you are considering the Point for your wedding I definitely recommend it! -

Staff was fantastic and very helpful. They didn't have an adapter for my phone to play music and the morning of, they came to the room and told me not to worry and that they will take care of it. After the staff went to a few stores, they finally found one for me the morning of my wedding. They were amazing, I couldn't asked for a better experiance. I felt like they went above and beyond for me. Big Thank you from Mr. and Mrs. Turner. -

Outstanding
The venue itself is beautiful and very elegant. The outdoor space is gorgeous. Every step of the way, from our first tour to the wedding day, they have been excited, answered all our questions in a complete and timely manner, allowed us to come out multiple times to measure things, understand the space better, and be as prepared as possible, and they were actively involved every time we visited, and on the wedding day, which went so smoothly.
They have their own DJ equipment, and allow for a DJ to bring their own, have they own Caterer, or let you hire your own, offer drinks to the guests and a very reasonable price, have a bar area, a dance floor, stage, wonderful lighting you can personalize, and tons of decorations in the back for your use with the purchase of the venue.
Fabulous all around, I was so impressed, and the staff are wonderful.
I highly recommend! -

The point events center was nothing short of outstanding during the days leading up to our wedding and our actual wedding day. I could not have wished for a more amazing day and much of that was due to this awesome venue and the wonderful family that runs it. Kelsey was very involved the day of and every request was met promptly. Their new outdoor ceremony space was beautiful as well. The only thing that wasn't perfect was the fact that the bathroom in the bridal suite was out of order (I know this was something that probably couldn't have been fixed) but that made it very difficult for the bride prior to the ceremony because I had to use the guest bathroom near where the guests were waiting. -

Fantastic experience from start to finish!
I cannot say enough good things about this venue. The Point Event Center surpassed all of our expectations. From the very first time we visited, to our departure after the wedding/dinner/dance they took exceptional care of us. They took care of all of our needs, were accommodating on every single thing, stepped in to help provide anything we needed, from sound to providing extra decor, to letting us in to decorate early! The huge bridal suite with multiple rooms to get ready in was a huge help for our wedding party as well!
They provided our rehearsal dinner food and it was spectacular! Everyone absolutely raved about it all night. I heard positive things from all my guests the entire night of how great of a space The Point Event Center is. On a scale of 1 to 10, I'd rate them a 15... Off the charts. I've never seen a staff so devoted to detail and customer service. I can't imagine anyone else better out there for an event.
I could go on and on and on about this place but I’ll let you go check it out for yourself. Kevin, Janet and Kelsey completely made our dream wedding come to life! -

This is an amazing venue. I had my wedding here this past weekend and everything was fantastic. The staff was so helpful and worked hard to make my wedding perfect. The ceremony was beautiful on their new setup outside overlooking Augusta lake. I was very impressed by the food, we had the Italian option (tasted like Olive Garden! Salad and garlic bread included!). The bartenders were awesome and Kevin even made me a special mixed drink (just for the bride). I couldn’t have asked for a better experience, and you really can’t beat the price on this place. I would love to come to another event here! -

The weeks leading up to our wedding, I sent Kelsey countless emails and she was prompt with responses, and patient with my questions! The food tasted fabulous!! Even as leftovers! This place knows how to put on a wedding. They were so amazing with the help of setting up the hard stuff like tables and chairs and the ceremony area. It was so nice to not be bothered with questions the day of and I could take it all in and enjoy every minute of it. You need to at least check this place out for your wedding I promise you will not be disappointed! The price below is including the venue, food, alcohol, and photo booth. -

Everything Flowed Beautifully on our special Day. They provided all catering and venue accommodations just like they described without problems. Food was great DJ they suggested was the Best we could've had and great deal in our Venue package. The fact the offered Battening as well made the whole night just flow beautifully. Lighting and Sounds systems were perfect as well. The staff is very friendly and Kind willing to Compromise. -
