Ever since this place opened when I was younger I knew that’s where I was going to get married. Now that is coming true. The employees and owner really help bring my vision to life. They take the stress of wedding planning off my shoulders. Highly recommend to anyone.

I would have paid double if I had known just how valuable Alice was going to be in planning my daughter’s wedding. She made it an enjoyable day when every other mother of the bride talks about how stressful it is. I can honestly say that I got to enjoy the day without worrying that every detail wouldn’t turn out perfectly!! And it is absolutely gorgeous!

Love this place
Loved the elegant/antique/rustic style that the venue brings. In the bridal suite, everything was amazing. Rolling hills and views were amazing. Was able to see wild turkeys on top of the hill side during the reception. Convenient location. Had peek a boo cows mooing in the back of some of are photos which we loved ! Beautiful fall trees, colors were amazing. And can’t say enough about Alice, she was very available and helpful and answered my questions all day everyday. The closer it came the more I was asking lol. But she was very calming for us and made sure it was an amazing experience for my baby girl !

I had my wedding here on June 24! It was truly amazing and exceeded all of my expectations! Alice was so wonderful to work with - answering questions, giving pricing quotes, sending pictures of decor and venue, etc. The venue is beautiful! I planned this all out of state and without ever getting to see the venue before the wedding day - I was blown away by everything here! Alice and her team are amazing! The barn is a gorgeous venue and made a beautiful place for us to say our “I do’s”. Alice had so many decorations to use to choose from. Alice and Karen did an amazing job with the decorations and making everything look beautiful! Alice was always available for questions and on the day of the event, we were so calm and relaxed because everything was taken care of and ready for us. The house where the bride and bridesmaids were able to get ready is gorgeous. It was truly an amazing day!

Alice, the manager, was incredible! She is very organized and personable.
When my (now) husband and I went to see the venue, we fell in love. The rustic charm and location just melted our hearts. Even the drive to the venue was romantic through the green hills and farms. So beautiful! The price was definitely in our price range and Alice, the manager made sure every detail was covered. It actually rained on our wedding day and the sound on the tin roof of the barn was absolutely perfect! I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

The day was magical!
This venue and its staff is nothing short of amazing. They are meticulous right down to the very last detail to make sure your special day is just perfect. I always received a text back just minutes after sending one to the owner/coordinator. Our wedding was flawless and it was in no small part to the staff and event planner. Best wedding venue hands down
My husband and I scheduled our wedding about 1.5years out. We only scheduled one wedding venue tour and it was this one. We did a lot of online research prior and really narrowed down on what we were both wanting. Alice, the venue owner, who also did double duty as our wedding planner, was awesome. The venue was perfect. The planning was perfect. Alice designed our save the dates, invitations, and our thank you cards. Alice also has a lot of decorations to use. My husband and I only bought the candles that we wanted to use for decorations. Alice helped with decorating the venue and running the day! Honestly, our wedding was a fairytale! I posted a few videos of our dream day. We 10/10 recommend this venue and working with Alice!

Where to start? Alice and her team are amazing! From the first moment she made us feel relaxed, happy and taken care of. The venue itself is gorgeous, Alice had a large variety of decorations and ideas to choose from. Before the event itself Alice was always available for questions, on the day of the event - everything was ready for us. During the event anything we needed Alice and her crew took care of it for us. The house where the bride and her team were getting ready is gorgeous - experience in its own! All the pictures came out fantastic. BEST WEDDING EVER!!!!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Alice and her beautiful venue. She is so kind and responsive. She was always so friendly and was there every step of the way. September wedding at The Barn of 1810
My daughter was married in late September 2020 at The Barn of 1810 in Morristown, TN. My daughter found this venue during a random internet search. We fell in love with the simple beauty this venue offers. This venue offers different options for the ceremony and reception with a a simple rustic barn interior and area adjacent to the barn with the versatile side porch. My daughter and I had researched several area venues to compare price and value. We felt that The Barn of 1810 was hands down the best value. The owner, Alice, is easy to work with and has a huge inventory of decor and ideas to choose from. The use of the decor was well as reception tables, chairs and linens are all part of the price of the venue. It is a fabulous deal! And the set up and takedown is also part of the price. I would highly recommend The Barn of 1810 to anyone. It truly created a beautiful setting for my daughter’s wedding and we are so glad we found it!

A rainy day has never been more magical
I got married here on October 10th, 2020 and I loved every minute of my day. Not only did I love every minute of my day, but every day, week, and month leading up to it and that’s all because of the one and only amazing Alice Rogers! From every detail, to every tear she talked me through, and almost every bit of planning! Not only did she help with all on sight details but she also designed my save the date cards, invitations, RSVP cards, and programs (along with much more). The bridal suite is beautiful with plenty of room! The barn and views from the property are beautiful. (My save the date card is posted here as an example of her great work).
✨On a side note...
It was a very rainy day... My ceremony started at 2pm and reception ended around 5:30pm... and if you ask me I think Alice and God held hands & made the rain stop at 1:30pm & pick back up at 6pm (that’s how amazing she is) Not a single drop of rain fell during my wedding, lol.
I will definitely be recommending anybody engaged to go to her! I give 5 stars. Alice made me feel like a completely princess from start to finish!!! ☺️

Alice, the barn owner/ wedding planner, has many years of experience and a vast knowledge for her craft. She was super helpful in helping us plan out our special day. The barn was perfect for our budget, rustic preferences, and laidback farm feel we were aiming for. It was absolutely gorgeous. We even hosted our very own cornhole tournament during the reception. A weekend spent on the grounds of a 200+ year old barn is somewhere a lot of us would enjoy. The venue itself was perfect. The barn was beautiful and is nestled in beautiful hills, and the entire property is extremely well kept. Everything to support the wedding and the reception was provided including all seating, decorations, parking, restrooms, lighting, power, and changing rooms for the wedding party.
But along with the venue, you also get the benefit of Alice's 32+ years of hosting more than 5000 weddings. Her help and advice was invaluable to making the big day absolutely perfect.
Picking a venue is probably the most important decision in planning one of the most important days in the newlywed's lives. We are so glad that we chose Alice and the Barn of 1810, and would highly recommend them. The wedding day was better than we had even hoped, and we give a lot of the credit for that to our decision to host it here!

Great venue!
This place was hands down the best venue ever. Me and my new wife had an amazing experience from the hands on planning the staff did to the beautiful decorations that are provided we had an absolutely beautiful wedding and we loved every minute of it. If you are wanting a great venue this is the place to have it!!!

I married the love of my life at this beautiful venue. It was everything I had ever dreamed of and more! I was a stress free bride through the year of planning it all thanks to Alice! She is an absolute blessing to work with and truly made me feel like a princess on my special day! She truly pays attention and tends to fine detail! We felt right at home from day one when we toured the venue! My day would not have been possible without her help and we are so happy that we chose this beautiful place to get married!

Amazing, Rustic Wedding Venue!
My wife and I got married at this location, and we could not have asked for a more perfect experience. The venue is stunning and unique! The price was very reasonable and included the best wedding planner ever, Alice, and tons of decorations on site. Anyone in East TN should consider this venue if you want the most perfect wedding. My favorite part is the barn and the atmosphere inside it.

Best Venue in East TN!!!
I had the true pleasure of marrying my best friend at the most beautiful venue in East Tennessee! We have had so many compliments about how beautiful our wedding was thanks to this place. It was absolutely amazing having the venue for the WHOLE WEEK leading up to the big day. That takes so much stress off the bride. Speaking of taking stress off the bride, Alice, the wedding planner is top notch. Best of all, she's included in the price :) From designing all of my save the dates, invitations, programs, and personalized decorations to making sure every little detail was perfect on the wedding day, she was simply amazing. I cannot say enough good things about this venue, and I know you will not be disappointed if you chose The Plantation Barn of 1810 as your dream wedding venue!

Perfect place for your special day!
My best friend got married here on June 16th. I have to say this was the most beautiful place, not just the barn that was beautifully decorated, but the Plantation house was so relaxing and not to mention the owner was super helpful and did everything possible to make my best friend and us feel relaxed. She had some snacks and water in the bridal suite and the bridal suite was so nice!! Alice is Great!!!

The absolute best venue for a wedding!
This is the best wedding venue around! The staff is awesome. Alice is so professional and tekes care of everything. When I say everything I really mean it. Usually on a wedding day you feel stressed but she makes it as calm and easy as possible. You really feel like you are at home. They dedicate everything to making your special day perfect. If I had to rate this place on a scale of 1 to 10, I'd give it a 978! There is no other venue that compares!!!

Best venue ever!! I got married here on June 16th and my wedding was simply amazing! The week long wedding package this venue offers takes a lot of stress off the big day. Plus, you don't have to buy a thing to decorate with. They have it all! All you do is pick out what decorations and props you want to use and they take care of the rest. This venue also includes a wedding planner at no extra charge! And I can't say enough about how wonderful Alice Rogers was! She made it all so easy and she thinks of absolutely everything! Even down to snacks in the bridal suite (which was gorgeous, by the way). All I did was show up. She had the rest taken care of. She really spoils her brides and you will truly feel like queen for the day!

The Plantation Barn of 1810 and the owner, Alice Rogers, made all of my wedding dreams come true and more! My husband and I chose this venue for our June Wedding and it couldn’t have been more perfect. We chose to do an outdoor ceremony in the field, and the reception inside the barn. From the beauty of the field and barn, the string lights, the adorable bridal suite and the decor - plus the personalization and uniqueness in details that Alice Rogers added- our hearts are full! The day felt like a southern belle fairytale!

Most beautiful place with Southern elegance. Highly recommend you call Alice Rogers. She has opened her house with a bridal suite just for the bride and bridesmaids day of the wedding. Also, when you book her she has a list of vendors. These vendors are also awesome to work with. Want to have the Wedding of your dreams, then Plantation Barn is the place you go

The Plantation Barn of 1810 was the perfect place for our August wedding! Alice was quick to respond, flexible with changes, and managed to squeeze our full guest list into the barn! She also designed our save the dates, invitations, and programs free of charge. We were able to go to the venue prior to the wedding for sound checks and engagement pictures. For the value, wedding planner, and the views, you can't beat the Plantation Barn!

I had a family member whom was married here . Everyone involved were very professional and helpful! The barn was so elegant and was the perfect setting for their wedding . The chandelier in the barn is awesome . The areas for the food and cake was set up and decorated with mostly the owners antique tables which just finalized the most memorable experience! Highly Recommend!

I contracted The Plantation Barn of 1810 to create my invitations and programs for my upcoming wedding. I have gotten multiple compliments on the quality and uniqueness of my invitations. I cannot begin to tell you how thankful I am to have had Alice design something so perfect to my style! She is efficient and plays off of any ideas you may have. I have been to several events at The Plantation Barn of 1810(weddings, picture sessions, rehearsal dinners, party's, Halloween festivities, etc), it is always impressive! The decorations are nothing short of amazing! I personally have had family pictures here and Alice helped me plan my brother proposal and engagement pictures here on a whim! I woukd highly recommend this venue! Its amazing!

Oh my goodness!!! Where do I start? I was blessed to be in a wedding at the Barn yesterday and have fallen in love with the place and Miss Alice! Beautiful scenery, beautiful decorations, and a very healthy dose of that precious southern hospitality that you can't find just anywhere! Not only was the bride pampered, the rest of us were, as well! I highly recommend The Plantation Barn of 1810, it's a wonderful place for new beginnings and making beautiful memories!

We couldn't have chosen a better place to get married! Alice was very nice and had great advice! We loved the barn and didn't do a lot of decorating because we tried to keep the rustic feel in tact. The bridal suite was amazing and made us feel pampered upon entering the room! We searched for a barn to get married in because we met in a barn. (I was currently working on a CD at a recording studio that a man had made his barn into. He heard the music from where he was fishing at the pond outside and came in.) That being said we had to find a barn for our wedding and I knew that this was the place when we found it! It was perfect!

I just had my wedding at the Plantation Barn of 1810 in October and everything was amazing. The owner is very hands on with whatever you need. If you have any questions or problems with anything she responds right away and helps. The barn itself was just perfect for what I wanted. I wouldn't have changed a thing. She truly treats her girls like a princess every step of the way!

Last year when I met Alice of The Plantation Barn of 1810, I had know idea how important she would be at helping us make our daughters dream wedding a reality. A Barn is just a barn unless you have Alice, her eye for detail and her ability to connect with her brides. I never once worried about the things Alice was in charge of. She listened to Kels vision of her day and kept us all on track to make it happen. I knew the barn would be decorated to perfection and in a way that reflected my daughters personality. I knew she would handle who walked who in and when. And.....I knew if there was a meltdown that needed diverted....Alice had it. I have three more girls and I would completely in trust their special day to Alice and The Plantation Barn of 1810. 5 Star.. class act...Not even one complaint!!!!

I had my wedding here on September 24, 2016. We had looked at several venues but neither my husband nor I were completely "in love" with a particular venue so we decide to have our wedding on a family friends farm, things didn't go as plan so 3 months before our wedding we had find a new place to get married as we already sent our save the dates, paid deposits with vendors, etc. I found The plantation barn of 1810 by referral from my photographer, I completely fell in love with the venue when I visited. It was everything I dreamed of for my wedding. Alice was so great to work with, she made my day the best it could be. She went above and beyond to make sure I was never stressed and I was always happy with every part of my wedding. I would recommend the plantation barn of 1810
A thousand times over!
Alice also made my invitations and ceremony programs fans and they were completely perfect.

I have used The Plantation Barn of 1810 for formal pictures and my senior pictures. The scenery and landscape is absolutely breath-taking. Alice is so helpful and always willing to do whatever needs to be done to make your experience memorable. She was willing to set up decorations and chairs in the field so I could use them as props for my pictures. There are also several different areas around her farm that give you different backgrounds for your pictures. Not to mention the barn itself is rustic and elegant all at the same time, and makes for a beautiful backdrop. l definitely recommend The plantation Barn if you are looking for a wedding venue, party venue, or just a place to have pictures made!

Anthony & I had been engaged 11 days when we went to our first bridal show, simply just for the fun of it! Every decision that was to be made, I wanted his opinion. Nearly every response I got from him was "Whatever you want" or "I want this to be the wedding of your dreams". We talked to several people at the bridal show that had outdoor venue options, but as soon as we met Alice and saw what she had to offer...we knew The Plantation Barn was exactly where we were supposed to hold our wedding! Every girl imagines her wedding day years before it happens and I can honestly say mine was beyond what I had imagined!! I had no clue where to start and what I was doing but Alice had everything under control!! I had my dream wedding with all of the perfect vendors thanks to Alice's suggestions. Anytime something popped up that was stressful she was there to fix it and calm me down! All of her extra touches were so sweet!! I have to say that i absolutly would strongly recommend The Plantation Barn of 1810!!!! The place is absolutely perfect and you can ask for no better lady than Miss Alice!!!! The Plantation Barn of 1810 was the perfect venue where we honored my daughters college senior year of volleyball by hosting an awesome PreSeason Carson Newman University Volleyball Team Dinner! It was an amazing memory that we will never forget! Thank you for everything!

The Plantation Barn is a wonderful venue! Alice, the owner, is extremely helpful and a very talented woman. My daughter got married there in October 2015. Alice spoke with us several times on the phone and in person in the weeks leading up to the weddin, answering questions and helping us brainstorm ideas. . She had tons of decorations that we used and she even helped set them up. She was on hand for photo shoots and had beautiful props and locations on the farm for us to use. One of the best things about this venue is you can have the full week before the wedding to set up things which took a lot of stress off of us. I don't know of another venue that does that. Alice opens her house for the ladies to get ready and her house is very comfortable and pretty. We got lots of lovely pictures there. She acted as wedding coordinator for is and was available all day of the wedding. The barn was so pretty all decorated'. My daughter said it was everything she'd hoped it would be--a fairytale wedding! I highly recommend the venue AND the owner!

I can't recommend the Plantation Barn of 1810 enough . It was absolutely the best venue for my daughter Jordan's wedding !! We could never have made it without Alice she is hands down the very best!!!!! Thank you so much for making Jordan's wedding everything she hoped it would be!!

This is the very first place we went when deciding on a wedding venue and it's the last as well because as soon as I saw it I fell in love and felt no need to go anywhere else. I knew my dream wedding was meant to be here. I was amazed to see all of our hard work and planning come together. Alice and I clicked as soon as we met! Our wedding day couldn't have been more perfect. It was literally everything I had dreamed of since I was a little girl. I will never forget this day from beginning to end or how special it was to me. Alice and Abby made us feel so special while we were getting ready for the big day! I can't speak enough for the beauty of this place or how happy I was with our wedding. Couldn't be happier !!!

If I could give more than 5 stars I would hands down. This is the most amazing place ever! Alice took my ideas and gave me the wedding I could have only dreamed of! She is the most amazing person anyone could meet! I am going to miss her so much! The barn is gorgeous and so is the bridal suite. Alice lets the brides come into her home and get ready and she welcomes them with open arms! It may seem like an eternity until you wedding day gets here but when it does its over and done just like that and I formed an amazing friendship with Alice that I will never forget! If you want an absolutely breathtaking wedding then this is the place to come! I will definitely be coming back to take Christmas pictures and when my husband and I decide to have kids, I would love nothing more than to take my maternity pictures there as well. Again thank you is such a small word and it is not enough to say to you Alice! Thank you so very much! I will keep in touch!

My husband and I couldn't have chosen a more perfect venue for our wedding. Everything was beautiful. The barn, the decorations. I can't say enough about Alice. I couldn't have planned this without her. She made our wedding so perfect in every way. I highly recommend this place for any occasion.

The Barn of 1810
Venue was beautiful. Alice did a great job of helping decorate the wedding and help coordinate the wedding. Be prepared to have to have someone run your own music and operate the sound system if you do not hire a DJ. We had to have a wedding party member figure out how to operate the system during the reception. Price is fair and Alice will help make sure things look great.

We loved our experience with The Plantation Barn of 1810! The views are amazing and the natural lighting in the barn is phenomenal. There was no stress and everything was taken care of. We were so blessed with everything the barn did for us and our big day.
