I could not recommend the Philadelphia Cricket Club more highly for a wedding! My husband and I both grew up in Philadelphia and when he first suggested this as a venue, I thought there was no way we could afford it. After researching several other venues, I was pleasantly surprised to learn that PCC had not only enough space for all of our guests, but the best value by far. We were thrilled to book. Unfortunately, COVID-19 had other plans, and we ended up having to change our wedding date twice. Taylor could not have been more helpful and attentive! Throughout the pandemic, we heard more than a few horror stories from friends about difficult venues and contracts that weren't honored. I'm happy to say that our experience at PCC could not have been more different. Taylor was with us every step of the way and was a total joy to work with. On the day of the wedding, I was made aware that there was a mistake on our invitations (which we had to re-print several times) and the correct reception start time was not stated. I was absolutely mortified, but Taylor and the rest of the staff at PCC were totally accommodating. From start to finish, our reception was dreamlike and we owe it all to Taylor (and Rebecca!) for being so prepared and dedicated. So many guests came up to me both during and after the reception to say this was one of the finest weddings they had ever attended - and we got rave reviews about the food (definitely get Chef Ben's fried chicken - it was the hit of the night and I'm STILL getting compliments on it!).

My husband and I had our vow renewal this past weekend and wow — I don’t have the proper words to describe our experience with the PCC! We had to postpone our wedding because of covid and Amy went above and beyond to meet our needs. She is incredible at her job and made our wedding an absolute dream. The venue is gorgeous and the staff is wonderful. Thank you for creating an experience we will always remember.

Our wedding at PCC was nothing short of magical! Amy Wayland, PCC's Catering Sales Manager, was not only there for us before and throughout COVID, but went above and beyond for us in the months, weeks, and hours leading up to our date over two years, and was an amazing on-site coordinator on the day itself. She and her staff were very professional and so kind to us and our guests.
I grew up going to PCC and have many wonderful and irreplaceable memories there, plus my parents got married there in 1990, so I was naturally thrilled when my fiance told me in 2019 that PCC was his favorite venue of all the ones we had looked at throughout NJ and PA. The architecture, landscaping and space itself was STUNNING, and gave us truly that "garden wedding" feel that we were going for. The ballroom was recently given a facelift, while preserving the beauty of its original barrel ceiling and balcony. We had our ceremony outside on the patio next to the grass tennis courts, an indoor/outdoor cocktail hour in nearly the same space, so we could take our portraits surrounded by our guests, and reception just one door away in the ballroom.
Even with one of our family's shuttles being 45 min late, Amy and the PCC staff ensured our guests were taken care of in the July heat, and kept the entire night on schedule!
I can't say enough about PCC, and highly HIGHLY recommend you put them on your short list for your big day!!

Our wedding at the Philadelphia Cricket Club was a dream come true! Truly, after not one, but TWO postponements, we were finally able to have the wedding we had been planning for three years. Despite this, everything went as smoothly and as lovely as we could hope for. Amy stuck by our sides during the two postponements- was available for discussing options, responded to questions in a timely manner, and was always willing to hop on the phone when necessary. We could not have done this without her, she truly is an "expert" in the field. Rebecca and Taylor were also so helpful and informative during our planning process. They were flexible with moving the dates and didn't up-charge us in the new year. Given covid was on the rise again, they let us make last minute deletions and additions to the guest list as necessary.

Our guests were incredibly impressed with the food, the set up and the coordination of the events at our PCC wedding. They loved the cheesesteaks at the end of the night. We even had to move the ceremony inside due to the heat wave and this was done ever so smoothly.

We cannot express enough how thankful we are for choosing to have our wedding at PCC. Three words that come to mind for the coordinators are flexible, supportive, and responsive. And the venue speaks for itself in regards to class and beauty. Food was one of a kind, fun, and delicious.

We could not have asked for a better wedding planning experience – our wedding day was absolutely perfect at the Philadelphia Cricket Club! From the beginning, Taylor made sure we had all the details to plan the perfect day, and she answered our millions of questions with ease. We then had to reschedule our March wedding date because of COVID, and we were extremely impressed by the support and understanding from the Cricket Club. They easily accommodated a much smaller number of guests and provided us with several options to make our wedding everything we wanted, even getting a tent last minute. They alleviated so much of the stress in planning a (small) wedding during a pandemic, and we are so grateful to the Philadelphia Cricket Club. Our family and friends raved over the venue and the amazing food (especially the friend chicken!). The staff were so friendly and professional during dinner, they even brought us covers to keep our food warm while we took a few more pictures. Their attention to detail was incredible, they were wonderful to work with during the crazy planning process, so we made the best decision by having our wedding at the Philadelphia Cricket Club.

The Philadelphia Cricket Club was an excellent venue for my wedding day from start to finish! They were extremely accommodating when we had to move our wedding from April 2020 to August 2020 due to COVID. I worked with Taylor for the majority of the wedding planning and she is phenomenal! I was emailing her weekly and daily towards the end of wedding planning and she was endlessly patient and informative. She helped us figure out Plan B's, C's, even D's (just in case), she kept us updated on any available dates, Philadelphia guidelines during COVID, and just in general made the wedding planning process during a pandemic extremely smooth. We ended up having a 50-person outdoor event and Taylor made sure everything was still beautiful, organized and seamless for our guests. We had hoped to use the ballroom, but it ended up being even more beautiful and unique on the back patio. We even had some rain and Taylor and the PCC staff acted quickly, making sure the sides of the tent were closed (but still partially open due to COVID) so that no one got wet and there were minimal puddles. It was little touches that you don’t think about going into your wedding day but Taylor was ready for all scenarios. I didn’t have a wedding planner but Taylor filled in the gaps that day, making sure everything was set up and kept the schedule of events flowing nicely throughout the evening. The Philly Cricket Club exceeded my expectations, working with Taylor was awesome, the venue itself was beautiful and classic, the pictures came out amazing and our guests had a great time! On top of everything else, the food was delicious! Chef Ben’s fried chicken was a crowd favorite. I can’t say enough good things about PCC and Taylor – we felt so lucky to be working with such a helpful venue for our wedding during this stressful time! Thank you!!

My husband and I had our wedding reception at the Philadelphia Cricket Club in November 2019. We could not have been happier with our day! We worked with Amy who was so helpful, professional, and made sure our day was exactly what we wanted. She was so easy to work with leading up to the event and on the day of our wedding. Everything we discussed and requested prior to our day came to life and was set-up and ready to go when we arrived for our reception.

The grounds, cocktail room, and ballroom are absolutely beautiful. There is an area to have part of your cocktail hour outside too, however it was really cold the day of our wedding so we were all inside and fit great. There is so much character in the building and inside which gave us so many great areas to have our photos taken. The ballroom itself is gorgeous and has big windows, a balcony, high ceilings, and an area for the band/DJ to play that does not take away space on the dance floor. We fell in love with the room. It is so different than so many other venues that make you feel like you're just in a hall.

The food was delicious (we served the steak and chicken breast) and we heard great feedback from our guests on their appetizers and meals as well. The bartenders and staff were very friendly and pleasant. The bartenders kept the bar line moving too. The price here is so much more reasonable than other places we looked at and what is included for the price is absolutely worth it. We had the best day of our lives and could not have imagined having our wedding reception anywhere else!

Anything I needed, the staff was right there to help me with making sure the day was perfect, and any last minute changes I had were handled with professionalism. I can not thank them enough for everything they've done, food was delicious, service was fantastic!! Definitely would recommend for celebrations!

We had our wedding at the Cricket Club in August and we could not be happier with our choice! The venue is beautiful and when visiting venues we both knew that it was the place we wanted to get married. All throughout the planning process the staff were fabulous, we used the majority of their recommendations for photographers, photo booths and the band and we were so glad we did.

During the day the service was exceptional, providing so much support and making sure that we were never short of drinks and food even when we were taking photos in the rain! The food was fabulous and we received so many compliments about the food after the reception.

We had our beautiful wedding at The Philadelphia Cricket Club on 5/5/18. It was amazing!! We immediately booked this venue when we visited over a year ago - they provide a wonderful all-inclusive package which makes it so easy for planning. While we did bounce around to a few venue coordinators, Amy ended up being our day of director of catering and coordinator. She was so great and helped us make sure we had the most perfect day. We met a little bit before the wedding to go over our timeline for the day of and she let us drop off all personal decor a couple of days ahead. It was so nice to have that organized and out of the way. She helped us coordinate our rehearsal and made sure the day of went super smoothly. The Cricket Club is such a beautiful venue with a golf course, elegant white ballroom and amazing cocktail hour patio. They allowed me and my girls to get ready there the morning of and provided a continental breakfast buffet with mimosas. The room we were in was huge and provided plenty of space for my hair/makeup girls and 8 bridesmaids. We were lucky enough to have an outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour which wowed our guests. We received nothing but compliments since that day. All of our guests had the best time and couldn't believe how beautiful the venue was. There are also so many secret areas for photos so our photos look so amazing and unique. Everyone we worked with at the Cricket Club was so nice and helpful especially Dia who made sure I had everything I needed all day and night. Thank you so much to everyone at the club for the most amazing and unforgettable day!

The Philadelphia Cricket Club is beautiful for a wedding--the weather cooperated and our guests were spilling onto the grass courts during cocktails and pouring across the beautiful veranda/porch with comfortable seating everywhere. Our daughter's wedding 6/3/17 was "remarkable" and "the best wedding ever" as we heard from our guests. As the guests moved to dinner and dancing in the ballroom we continued to be impressed. The room was beautiful, the food was superb and the staff was attentive. Megan was with us throughout with support, advice and valuable suggestions helping to create an awesome wedding for Kathleen and Max! We all loved it!

This is THE place to get married.

The venue itself is so classy and beautiful. It is so much more beautiful on the day of than when you go and visit. Every photo has the grand details of the venue in the background and give an opulent feel. The space is amazing.

The food is also unbelievable. It was just as good the day of the wedding as it was at the tasting. We have had the privilege of eating at many of the best restaurants up and down the east coast and the Cricket Club gives them all a run for their money. From the 12 passed appetizers to the entrees - the food is great.

Also, Megan Freeman, the even coordinator, went above and beyond to make sure that all details were taken care of. We did not have an actual wedding planner and we worried we had overlooked things, but she was amazing and anticipated everything we could have needed/details that we had not thought of. For example, she placed all of the vases for the women's bouquet's on the tables while we were at the ceremony and prepped a beautiful bridal suite with snacks.

The staff at the club on the day of were unbelievable. We were appointed a specific person to help us with our needs - Lynette - and she was flawless in making sure we had everything we needed. The bartenders were all friendly, fast, and kept the lines moving. They also made sure everyone got on the buses with plenty to keep them going until the after party.

The pricing includes everything you need and really is an all-inclusive, easy experience. They make everything so easy, and have a "yes, we can do that" attitude about all of our requests.

We spent so much time planning, and Megan made sure that it all came together seamlessly. We could not be happier with our decision and will be forever grateful to everyone there for giving us the best wedding ever.

An architecturally stunning venue with a variety of indoor and outdoor space to accommodate your wedding needs. A beautiful backdrop for a day you want to remember forever. Megan worked with us on several unique details to include a groom's cake made of cheese wheels. Every idea we had was greeted with enthusiasm and a can do attitude including the customization to the reception menu.

We were married at the Philadelphia Cricket Club in July 2015 and had a wonderful experience. After visiting numerous venues in the Philadelphia area, we fell in love with the PCC. The venue has so much historic charm and was definitely not one of those cliche ballrooms! Our day went so seamlessly. From our "first look" and pictures before the wedding to the last dance of the night, everything was perfect! Megan was so helpful and accommodating throughout the entire planning process. The food was delicious and multiple people commented on how nicely the steak was cooked. We could not ask for a better wedding day...we honestly have no complaints! Highly recommend!

When it came time to choose a location for our wedding, the list began and ended with the Philadelphia Cricket Club. Not only does my family have deep ties to Philadelphia, but the Cricket Club has been a recurring venue for special occasions throughout the generations! Megan Freeman was a star! From day-one she handled all the logistics of planning and organizing seamlessly and efficiently! One of the most important things for us, as my entire family was planning from out-of-state, was to feel comfortable handing over the reins. Especially for my parents, Megan's confidence, patience, and experience really made my entire family feel at ease. Another benefit, which we had not anticipated, was their Club's familiarity with all of our other vendors and vice versa - working with seasoned professionals really made a huge difference! I would wholeheartedly recommend this venue to family and friends. The food, ambiance, staff and service was above and beyond. I can't say enough for the entire team who helped make our wedding day what it was!

We recently had our daughter's wedding at Philadelphia Cricket Club. We could not have asked for anything more. The venue was perfect, from the outdoor ceremony to the cocktail hour overlooking the grass tennis courts to the elegant ballroom. A friend of our daughter's told us she was glad she was not getting married next as our reception would be a hard act to follow!

When we first visited the Philadelphia Cricket we completely fell in love. We fell in love with the grounds and the ball room, we fell in love with EVERYTHING they had to offer. Megan and Rose were very informative and gave us many options to make our day the best day of our lives. They made Dane and I always feel welcomed, always had time for our calls and emails and was never EVER bothered if we called even with silly questions. They made me feel like the most important and beautiful bride and made our special day everything we dreamed it would be. Everyone at PCC is very detail oriented and truly cares enough to make your special day perfect. Their chef is fantastic! He made our requests a reality and everything was perfect from the cocktail hour right down to the last desert! Our entire day had NO issues or glitches, and if there were any, we were not bothered with them. If you are looking for a venue and are in between this place and some other, please read this and know it comes from the bottom of our hearts. The PCC staff is beyond welcoming and excellent to work with... you will NOT be disappointed booking your special day with them!!!

I have nothing but good things to say about The Philadelphia Cricket Club and everyone on the staff who helped make our day absolutely perfect! My family has held many events at the Cricket Club in the past, so I had high expectations for my wedding. Megan, Rose and their team surpassed our expectations on our wedding day. The entire planning process was stress free and easy with their responsiveness and willingness to accommodate any request. I felt so lucky to be able to relax on my wedding day and know that the details were in capable hands. From providing lunch for the bridal party while we were getting ready, to having appetizers waiting for my husband and I in the bridal suite after our ceremony, they thought of everything. The service and food were superb and our guests had an amazing time!

My daughter's wedding reception was held at the Cricket Club and it was absolutely spectacular! Megan and Erin were both so very professional and personable to work with. Our guests were more than impressed with the ambiance of the facility as well as the quality of the food. It will definitely be #1 on the venue list when my other children decide to get married.

Our wedding at the Philadelphia Cricket Club could not have been more classic, beautiful, and elegant. From start to finish, Megan Williams and her staff were extremely accommodating and responsive to all of our requests. I had some very specific directions for how I wanted the ballroom and cocktail room to be set up with our various flower arrangements, candles, vases, etc., and Megan executed my vision perfectly. We found the "all-inclusive" approach to pricing to be very easy to understand in terms of figuring out our overall budget and making payments. The venue is absolutely gorgeous with the classic ballroom, big windows overlooking the Cricket Club lawn, lovely cocktail rooms, and wide verandas. On the day of our wedding, we pulled up and saw that a cricket match was taking place on the front lawn. What a way to set the scene for our guests! All night my guests kept asking me if I arranged to have cricket players on the lawn! The only thing that I would suggest to the Cricket Club is to have some hors d'oeuvres placed in the bridal party room for the bridal party before cocktail hour. But other than missing a few bites at cocktail hour, I ended up eating my whole dinner, which was beautifully prepared by the Cricket Club chef, and even ate two pieces of my gorgeous cake from Night Kitchen Bakery (also included in my package), so it all turned out just fine! I would absolutely recommend the Cricket Club to any bride and groom planning a wedding for its value, elegance, location, and overall sophistication. It really was my perfect, fairytale wedding!

We celebrated our daughter's wedding at the Cricket Club last September. Everything was perfect!!! The food was delicious. The staff was attentive, with great suggestions. We had the best day ever.
