We fell in love with the Philadelphia Cricket Club when we first toured it, and we're so glad we chose it for our reception venue! The location is absolutely beautiful, and all the food options were delicious. Christine & Liz, who assisted on day of, were fabulous in making sure we followed our timeline and that everything ran smoothly. We truly could not say enough nice things about how great the venue and the staff were on our big day!The Philadelphia Cricket Club's reply:

We just held our wedding at the Philadelphia Cricket Club, and we are so incredibly happy that we chose this venue! We worked with Christine throughout the planning process, and she is beyond amazing; extremely responsive, helpful, flexible, knowledgable, and kind. The venue is absolutely stunning, with a ton of amazing spots to take stunning photos! One of the things my husband and I were most concerned about when looking at venues was the food and beverage packages; you get SO MUCH for your money with the packages here and everything is so incredible delicious! All of the staff is very well trained, and were wonderful with our guests. my bridesmaids and I also got ready at the venue and it was such a nice morning filled with attentive staff, a huge area to get ready, and amazing food and beverages! I truly could not imagine a better venue for our special day and would highly recommend the Philadelphia Cricket Club to others!The Philadelphia Cricket Club's reply:

Stunning venue with amazing staff - perfect experience!
Our wedding at PCC was nothing short of magical! Amy Wayland, PCC's Catering Sales Manager, was not only there for us before and throughout COVID, but went above and beyond for us in the months, weeks, and hours leading up to our date over two years, and was an amazing on-site coordinator on the day itself. She and her staff were very professional and so kind to us and our guests.
I grew up going to PCC and have many wonderful and irreplaceable memories there, plus my parents got married there in 1990, so I was naturally thrilled when my fiance told me in 2019 that PCC was his favorite venue of all the ones we had looked at throughout NJ and PA. The architecture, landscaping and space itself was STUNNING, and gave us truly that "garden wedding" feel that we were going for. The ballroom was recently given a facelift, while preserving the beauty of its original barrel ceiling and balcony. We had our ceremony outside on the patio next to the grass tennis courts, an indoor/outdoor cocktail hour in nearly the same space, so we could take our portraits surrounded by our guests, and reception just one door away in the ballroom.
Even with one of our family's shuttles being 45 min late, Amy and the PCC staff ensured our guests were taken care of in the July heat, and kept the entire night on schedule!
I can't say enough about PCC, and highly HIGHLY recommend you put them on your short list for your big day!! -

My husband and I had our vow renewal this past weekend and wow — I don’t have the proper words to describe our experience with the PCC! We had to postpone our wedding because of covid and Amy went above and beyond to meet our needs. She is incredible at her job and made our wedding an absolute dream. The venue is gorgeous and the staff is wonderful. Thank you for creating an experience we will always remember. -

The Philadelphia Cricket Club was an excellent venue for my wedding day from start to finish! They were extremely accommodating when we had to move our wedding from April 2020 to August 2020 due to COVID. I worked with Taylor for the majority of the wedding planning and she is phenomenal! I was emailing her weekly and daily towards the end of wedding planning and she was endlessly patient and informative. She helped us figure out Plan B's, C's, even D's (just in case), she kept us updated on any available dates, Philadelphia guidelines during COVID, and just in general made the wedding planning process during a pandemic extremely smooth. We ended up having a 50-person outdoor event and Taylor made sure everything was still beautiful, organized and seamless for our guests. We had hoped to use the ballroom, but it ended up being even more beautiful and unique on the back patio. We even had some rain and Taylor and the PCC staff acted quickly, making sure the sides of the tent were closed (but still partially open due to COVID) so that no one got wet and there were minimal puddles. It was little touches that you don’t think about going into your wedding day but Taylor was ready for all scenarios. I didn’t have a wedding planner but Taylor filled in the gaps that day, making sure everything was set up and kept the schedule of events flowing nicely throughout the evening. The Philly Cricket Club exceeded my expectations, working with Taylor was awesome, the venue itself was beautiful and classic, the pictures came out amazing and our guests had a great time! On top of everything else, the food was delicious! Chef Ben’s fried chicken was a crowd favorite. I can’t say enough good things about PCC and Taylor – we felt so lucky to be working with such a helpful venue for our wedding during this stressful time! Thank you!! -

Wedding of our dreams at the Philadelphia Cricket Club!
My husband and I had our wedding reception at the Philadelphia Cricket Club in November 2019. We could not have been happier with our day! We worked with Amy who was so helpful, professional, and made sure our day was exactly what we wanted. She was so easy to work with leading up to the event and on the day of our wedding. Everything we discussed and requested prior to our day came to life and was set-up and ready to go when we arrived for our reception.
The grounds, cocktail room, and ballroom are absolutely beautiful. There is an area to have part of your cocktail hour outside too, however it was really cold the day of our wedding so we were all inside and fit great. There is so much character in the building and inside which gave us so many great areas to have our photos taken. The ballroom itself is gorgeous and has big windows, a balcony, high ceilings, and an area for the band/DJ to play that does not take away space on the dance floor. We fell in love with the room. It is so different than so many other venues that make you feel like you're just in a hall.
The food was delicious (we served the steak and chicken breast) and we heard great feedback from our guests on their appetizers and meals as well. The bartenders and staff were very friendly and pleasant. The bartenders kept the bar line moving too. The price here is so much more reasonable than other places we looked at and what is included for the price is absolutely worth it. We had the best day of our lives and could not have imagined having our wedding reception anywhere else! -

Carly Sent on 05/26/2018We had our beautiful wedding at The Philadelphia Cricket Club on 5/5/18. It was amazing!! We immediately booked this venue when we visited over a year ago - they provide a wonderful all-inclusive package which makes it so easy for planning. While we did bounce around to a few venue coordinators, Amy ended up being our day of director of catering and coordinator. She was so great and helped us make sure we had the most perfect day. We met a little bit before the wedding to go over our timeline for the day of and she let us drop off all personal decor a couple of days ahead. It was so nice to have that organized and out of the way. She helped us coordinate our rehearsal and made sure the day of went super smoothly. The Cricket Club is such a beautiful venue with a golf course, elegant white ballroom and amazing cocktail hour patio. They allowed me and my girls to get ready there the morning of and provided a continental breakfast buffet with mimosas. The room we were in was huge and provided plenty of space for my hair/makeup girls and 8 bridesmaids. We were lucky enough to have an outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour which wowed our guests. We received nothing but compliments since that day. All of our guests had the best time and couldn't believe how beautiful the venue was. There are also so many secret areas for photos so our photos look so amazing and unique. Everyone we worked with at the Cricket Club was so nice and helpful especially Dia who made sure I had everything I needed all day and night. Thank you so much to everyone at the club for the most amazing and unforgettable day!

Megan, Rose and their team surpassed our expectations on our wedding day. The entire planning process was stress free and easy with their responsiveness and willingness to accommodate any request. I felt so lucky to be able to relax on my wedding day and know that the details were in capable hands. From providing lunch for the bridal party while we were getting ready, to having appetizers waiting for my husband and I in the bridal suite after our ceremony, they thought of everything. The service and food were superb and our guests had an amazing time! -

I didn't have to worry about a thing on the wedding day. It had all been taken care of for me. We had the best day of our lives, and I wouldn't change one tiny little detail. We had an amazing wedding on June 28, 2019 at the Philadelphia Cricket Club. Throughout the planning process, Taylor and Amy were incredibly helpful and answered all of our (many!) questions. Taylor provided a lot of helpful suggestions for décor and layout and came up with many money-saving ideas that allowed us to maximize our budget.
On the day of the wedding, Taylor and her team handled every last detail. We brought all of our décor in boxes and Taylor arranged it all perfectly without any guidance (and I am a serious perfectionist!). For months I had stressed about where every picture frame and flower arrangement would go, but in the end, I didn’t need to worry at all! Taylor met with each vendor as they arrived and intercepted any questions before they got to me. After months of planning and handling every detail myself, it was so nice turn everything over to Taylor and have her execute on our vision perfectly!
So many of our guests commented on what a beautiful venue the Cricket Club was. We loved the character of the venue and the ample space and beautiful grounds for cocktail hour and the reception. We loved being able to get ready for the wedding on-site and make use of the many gorgeous locations on the grounds for pictures.
The Philadelphia Cricket Club was the absolute perfect venue for our wedding, and we would highly recommend this venue to any future couples!

Erin was with us on the morning of the ceremony and was very thorough and helpful! She made sure we were all comfortable and made sure the whole ceremony looked beautiful! Great experience! -

User2496644 Sent on 01/06/2016After receiving the reception venue packet I was extremely disappointed. I felt as if they were nickle and diming every little item. I ended up picking a venue that was high end like this and they were way more flexible and more in my price range.
