Rev. Rieley was absolutely the best officiant for us! We are pretty easy going & she was able to put a ceremony together that fit us perfectly!! Everyone said our ceremony was short & sweet just like we wanted it! We got our marriage license pretty fast too. Thank you Rev. Beautiful photography! Many moments I would never have, were captured in photography, that I will be forever grateful to have. The video of the wedding is a gift of love, not only my beloved husband but also my parents, family and friends have this treasured moment to keep forever. Many selective moments that I was not even aware of, were captured through the photography of this most precious day of my life. Thanks to the awareness of the photographer in working with the light of the day and instictually seeing the beauty which surrounded this sacred moment in time, I have these pictures and video to share with those I love...forever. -

Wendy was not only professional but was able to get everyone to participate in having their pictures taken. The pictures taken up on the rocks were absolutely gorgeous. She was able to capture the mood of happiness that permeated from the wedding party. She video the wedding itself so it was real nice to hear and see the ceremony again. The pictures after the ceremony were fun and relaxed, exactly what the bride and groom wanted. This was an easy going ceremony and Wendy was able to capture that atmosphere as well as all the fun everyone was having. Often times in these once in a lifetime events its scary to think your trusting someone to capture it all...Wendy captured the entire wedding from the bride and bridesmaids getting ready to the first dance of the bride and groom, to the dancing and the off the cuff pictures with the picture frame. Many of our guests commented on how much fun it was to have their picture taken and not having to be serious but to have fun with the frame. Thank you Wendy for the fabulous job you did. -

The Perfect Union, Wendy Rieley, did the photography for our wedding. She was very professional but also very approachable. She listened to how we wanted to remember our special day and delivered more than expected. She had innovative ideas to really capture the love being shared between family and friends. Her dynamic personality put our guests at ease and she captured some really meaningful memories. When I look at the pictures I am overcome with joy and so pleased to relive our special day through the photos. So very happy!!! -

Wendy was AMAZING! She got so many shots. Stuff I didn't know what happening and I am so glad it is forever memorialized! So much of my family was there and she was able to get at least a couple of pictures of absolutely everyone. I am so grateful to have had her documenting the ceremony via video and the rest of our day/night with photographs. Simply amazing! -

When we first met Wendy we know she would be perfect to perform our ceremony. She know exactly what we wanted and was easy to talk to. She sent us multiple ceremonies to choose from and we found one that fit our personalities. It was short, sweet, funny and everyone loved it. -

Wendy was wonderful. As the guests were coming in to Poloma Blanca restaurant my husband and I were really stressed. Wendy saved the day with her take charge professionalism. She has a way with a winning smile and personality to make people comfortable. Many of out guests complimented the ceremony she performed, She and her son took over 100 photos. She also personally took care of processing the marriage license at the courthouse and we were pleasantly surprised to have the license in our mailbox when we returned 4 days later from Vegas. Thanks Wendy. You are the best. -

We absolutely love Wendy, she gave us suggestions on our first meeting of types of weddings and is very professional.We choose the hand tying ceremony which was wonderful and different. She is very flexible and always answers your calls she even attended the dinner rehearsal at Big Lou's, she gave everyone direction for the bridal party and even had someone take pictures to add to out album, Were so glad we choose her she was perfect and was comedic as well during the ceremony and had our guest laughing, We highly recommended her!

Wendy Reily was absolutely wonderful! She was very professional, sweet, flexible, cheerful and overall a very pleasant woman. She married my husband and I last month and I am beyond happy with how it all turned out. She was even kind enough to take photos of the evening and will provide them to add to my photo collection. We have known Wendy for a number of years, but not in her official duties as a minister until our daughter, Hilary married her now husband three years ago. I was so excited because we had the wedding in our back yard and had about thirty of our close friends. Wendy was so professional in her performance of the wedding and made it even more special than we had been expecting. Our wedding location totally changed about an hour and a half before the wedding was to start. Rev.Reily was already at he set location. She agreed to come to the new location and was there in no time. She was absolutely wonderful!!!!! -

When we originally contacted Rev. Rieley, she met us immediately and we enjoyed the questions she had for us, her personality and her professionalism. She was the perfect match from the very beginning.
We originally planned our wedding for October 10, 2009. On impulse, we decided to cancel the wedding and just have a quiet ceremony. When I called Rev. Rieley to move the ceremony, I had my fingers crossed that she would be available. She was more than willing and able to accommodate our sudden change of heart and we worked something out that was perfect.
We planned the small ceremony in less than 2 weeks time. It went from a hectic wedding to a quiet ceremony on the San Antonio Riverwalk and couldn't have been more perfect!
Rev. Rieley was not only a joy and an honor to have officiate our wedding, but her personality made it pleasant and relaxed!!
We will forever refer her as one of the best!! Thank you Wendy!

Services provided were Officiant and Photography. As an Officiant Rev. Rieley was delightful, she provided a lovely service and also an impromptu blessing for the meal. The photography was excellent, captured all of the wedding party and guests at their best, so many excellent pictures. We now have a great set of pictures that we are proud to show off. She made the occassion fun and was a pleasure to work with. -

Wendy was our officiant for our March 3rd wedding. She is fun, happy, and a great speaker!
Our vows were very personalized. We wrote almost every word ourselves and it was important to us that the ceremony included the wording we wrote. She said EVERY word exactly as we wrote it, and made it seem like she was talking to good friends- not like she was reading off a piece of paper at all.
At our rehearsal, she was very patient when our wedding party was not on time.
Overall, I would highly recommend Wendy! -

I approached Reverend Wendy Rieley at The Perfect Union about a month before our wedding date, via long distance, San Antonio was a destination wedding for us. She responded immediately with multiple templates of ceremonies. I made minor adaptions to the one we liked the most, but I also sent a Zen-inspired ceremony that a friend had put together for us but who couldn't do the actual service. It was an extremely alternative ceremony, and I asked that she consider it since I didn't know how she'd respond. Not only was she willing to consider it, but she found an absolutely ideal officient to do the service. I would add that it was a Mexican-American wedding too, and I found Reverend Wendy to be extremely sensitive to the multicultural situation.
We requested a photography package. Rev. Wendy served as the photographer, and she did a good job with the photos, but her biggest strength is her sense of humor as she guides a group through what can be an arduous task of taking a large volume of photos. Her humor brought out the best in the group, and the photo shoot became one of the highlights of the weekend-long destination wedding.
We held the wedding at the Japanese Tea Garden under the Pagoda. It's a picturesque location, and Rev. Wendy and her team clearly knew the venue well. -

Rev. Riley was supposed to perform our ceremony; however, the day before our wedding she called and left a voicemail saying she double booked and was going to send a different officiant instead. It bothered me that she would wait until the evening before the wedding to call, but we spoke with the man who was to take her place and he seemed friendly. The day of the wedding the officiant was very friendly; however, he spoke with such a strong accent that almost noone could understand him, he also seemed very nervous.
The important thing is that we got married and are very happy. Our offciant was nice, but not what we would have chosen. I was extremely disappointed in Rev. Riley's unproffessionalism in dealing with a double booking. Had we had more time we would have found a different officiant who better met our needs, but since she did not even give us 24 hours notice that was impossible. -

Very pushy, took over photo session, hung out after ceremony for hrs, held a tablet legal pad and camera at ceremony. -

I had Wendy Rieley as the officiant for my Wedding on July 2. She was there on time and even worked with us when we cancelled the rehearsal the day before and came early the day of for a run though. With that being said that'sthe the only good experience I had with her. My ceremony was supposed to begin at 6 pm, we were running about 15 minutes behind schedule. She kept coming in the dressing room rushing us which really pissed me off. We knew we were being schedule we did not need the added drama of her continuously coming in telling us we were late. Secondly, my Wedding was a formal wedding and she came in flip flops. I will update with a picture and you all can decide if that is acceptable for you. (On Facebook page if possible) Also, even though we rehearsed and everyone knew what to do she was telling bridal party what to do during the ceremony. For example, she told my maid of honor "give her her flowers" which came off very rude. This was a horrible experience for me along with other mishaps during my ceremony. I would not recommend her to any of my friends or associates if they plan to get married in the area. I wanted to add that since we were planning our wedding from North Carolina we did not get a face to face meeting with her nor a video chat meeting so we were not able to determine if she was the right fit for us and it turned out she was not. -

I liked Wendy at first. Although she was late to our first meeting. our second meeting she was early but really pushed me over the edge was our wedding day. She was not able to make it because of the rain and flooding but what was the worse was she hit my cousins car on her way to the wedding and my cousin told me she was very rude to her during the exchange of insurance and that she didn't give her license and registration at first she tired to give a business card. My cousin tried to get her to follow her to the wedding but rudely said no. My cousin made it Wendy did not. She then agreed to do the ceremony over the speaker she started it then we lost her and she never called back the whole night. My husband and i were not happy at all with her service and she was not worth the 200 dollars we paid her. She told me at our second meeting that she would send us a nice print out of our wedding reading but when she sent it, it was just a plain piece of printer paper with a heart border around it. the one i got from the JP 3 years ago was nicer. I would not recommend her at all. -
