Made life easy!
I loved Ali! I originally had someone else helping us with our wedding decor, and I appreciated the fact that she reached out to me to let me know she was taking over. She responded in a reasonable amount of time everytime I had a question or needed to change or add something. I even had a freak out moment on the phone, and she calmed me down and followed up with a sweet email. Picking out the decor, I trusted her and felt comfortable. I didn't feel pressured or being judged by what we were discussing. The flowers were exactly how I explained to her without having exact pictures to show her! The center pieces were way more beautiful than the bouquet I was provided from a different florist! The overall pricing was reasonable. She made my planning easy, and I truly appreciated the words of support she gave. -

Absolutely Amazing
There aren't enough words for Mr. Jessie Wilson! He is the best! From design concept, to execution, he literally made our wedding day better than my dreams. When my bouquet was put together incorrectly, he personally showed up to my hotel to drop off the corrected version, and this is just one of a hundred other details he went to great lengths to ensure were just perfect. -

Great experience!
We were required to use the Perfect Touch through our venue, and I wasn't looking forward to it reading previous reviews. Originally we had someone else helping us for our wedding, but then Ali took over. I cannot rave enough about Ali. She was even still contacting us from home when she had the flu. She was willing to be flexible with meeting times and location (We live in north Houston so this actually made a huge difference for us). I hated our original choices as far as florals, but when Ali came in she talked about the options and showed us different flowers that were still in the budget. I ended up with a beautiful bouquet that wasn't all roses! She went over every detail with us (even if I had no idea what was going on), kept up updated on any changes, and personally made sure everything was set up accordingly at the venue. We had the backdrop for the ceremony custom made, and it came out perfect! She is still working with us to get our mirror engraved after the wedding. She definitely made the process much more fun than I expected! If we ever have to host another large event I would definitely work with her again. -

Wedding Planning
I had such a positive experience with this company! I worked with Ali and Jessie, and they helped bring my vision to life. They were super communicative, and went over every single detail. Even when I was a nervous wreck, they ALWAYS made sure to call me down. They were most communicative during the week. They made me feel completely at ease and let me know that if there was anything that I needed they were there to help. I would use this company again! -

An excellent experience start to finish!
We chanced upon Ali Nix from The Perfect Touch when visiting our wedding venue. When we decided to pursue the business for our wedding and reception decor, she became our dedicated Event Producer and very early on, we knew we had a perfect match as she was very attentive to our wants and needs for our wedding and reception. Ali and her colleagues brought our vision to fruition and we couldn’t be more pleased with the outcome of their “perfect touch” on our special day. -

Amazing and a joy to work with
We worked with Savannah and she was amazing. She payed close attention to every aspect and nailed the look that we were going for. Everything was as agreed upon and there were no surprises. I would highly recommend them. She even had an element installed that was not easy and it turned out great! -

The perfect touch went above and beyond in helping to make my wedding dreams a reality! They handled all of the decor for both my henna party at Las Velas (which is more of a cultural event, in my case Egyptian) and my wedding at Chateau CocoMar (which had more of a French vibe). Both events were completely different and required completely different decor schemes. The Perfect Touch was able to meet both themes completely, helping me find the perfect linens, center pieces and seating to fit each occasion. All our guests were blown away for each event! The flowers for the wedding were beyond beautiful -- everyone in my family took home an arrangement to keep after the wedding because they were so stunning! I am forever thankful for the perfect touch for helping us pull off our events -- without them, neither would have been possible! -

The Perfect Touch was one our best vendor thanks to Shelley. She was great to work with from day one, she had a vision for what looks elegant and understands what we were trying to explain to her without having to spend too much time explaining how we wanted things displayed. She made the entire experience a very pleasant one because she showed us a lot of options that were exactly what we were looking for. She also gave us a trial/reveal that went very well; she had a complete setup of how the tables would look like and it was beautiful. Overall this was a great experience! -

I used The Perfect Touch for my flowers, linens, chairs, and centerpieces and they were AMAZING! Our wedding venue was beautiful to begin with but Shelley and Vik made it look incredible. They were wonderful to work with and answered the millions of questions I had about the layout, centerpiece ideas, and pricing. I am not the best with expressing my ideas (especially when it comes to decorating) but they were able to take some pictures and brief description of what I wanted and executed it perfectly. I booked them fairly early in the wedding planning process so they had to put up with me for a while and I appreciate their patience and ideas more than they will ever know!
We received so many compliments on how beautiful the room looked and how well everything flowed from one room to another. I cannot say enough good things about The Perfect Touch and would absolutely recommend them to other couples! -

I met Vik at the bridal extravaganza show last July. They had the biggest booth in the show and great decor and linen setups. Vik was very nice and talked to me in detail about all the different specials they were running. The prices were really good so I paid the deposit for linens. I made another appointment with them after I did not like the center pieces my venue was giving me with the package. First, I was overwhelmed with all the different options they had in their warehouse. Sheena sat with me for couple of hours and showed me some amazing combinations with the linens I chose. They also gave me a great deal on flowers that fit my style perfectly. When I walked into my ceremony I was amazed at how great everything looked. My family and friends complimented me on how beautiful the decor looked. I would highly recommend this company! -

We used The Perfect Touch linens, tables, flowers, chairs and stage at our ceremony & reception. A few thoughts: If you really want to have a unique wedding, you need to find a rental company that actually has unique great things. Most companies have the basics, but I was really impressed with their choice in linens. Lots of colors and textures. With my cushion-textured linens, I paid almost half with Perfect touch over what I would pay at Classic or some of the other companies. Helps to keep up the look that we were hoping for. I thought everyone there was really nice. Super easy to reach. I would find myself emailing their staff late at night. Vik was extremely professional and gave us a great product for an unbelievable price. I am a big fan of perfect touch and would recommend them to anyone. -

We hired Perfect Touch for our April 20th wedding. They provided us with decor for our ceremony and reception. With all the different vendors available, we are SO happy we chose Perfect Touch. We were extremely impressed with the variety of decor they offered as well as the high quality of merchandise. They never attempted to pressure us to rent anything we did not want and were willing to work within our budget. They took our dream decor and executed it perfectly. They even used their experience to help us come up with unique ideas for decor that looked beautiful and was also more budget friendly.
The way we described our dream decor was that we wanted something "elegant and classy". Perfect Touch went above and beyond our expectations and provided us with absolutely beautiful decor. Thank you Perfect Touch!! -

Arin at The Perfect Touch was so helpful when it came to picking out our linens. We walked in and just looked at a little bit of everything. They had a pretty good selection and we were able to throw the linens on a table they had there and see them with a chair sash and the chargers and napkins. The linens on our wedding day looked beautiful and matched our decor so well. Everything was fabulous. -

The linens from The Perfect Touch looked great at our reception! The table linens, seat covers, sash, & napkins (in the color of our choice) were a part of the reception package at our venue, but they were standard silk linens so we upgraded to a puckered table linen. We also added silver charger plates to contrast the eggplant linens. It looked very nice and elegant! The staff was very proffessional and was able to work with us when our guest list shrank and we had already paid them off. Thanks Vic and everyone at The Perfect Touch! -

We had expressed our wedding colors prior to our initial meeting. Therefore when we arrived, they had various table/linen configurations made up on tables and the type of chairs Linsay Lakes has on site. Different looks were exchanged so comparisons were made and selection was easy. -

We rented linen, chargers, napkin/napkin ring, and a stage for the ceremony and true to the name everything was perfect. They have a great flocked table cloth that I didn't and haven't seen anywhere else and the addition of the texture in the linen and the beading on the chargers and napkin rings really made our wedding decor stand out from anything anyone had ever seen before. Deann was very quick to respond to any of my requests and she was great at helping me pick out corresponding items such as gift table and cake table linen. I addedd 12 more tables at the last minute and she handled that with absolute ease. Additionally, the stage was perfect and the staff that set it up really took care to make sure it was set up exactly how and where we wanted it for the ceremony. I would highly recommend Perfect Touch Linen to anyone, they have high quality gorgeous linen, reasonable prices and great service. -

Made Sure My Day Was Stress Free
I booked the Perfect Touch for my daughters wedding, and all we had to do was essentially show up on the day of the ceremony. Jesse, our designer, was in contact regularly and let us know about any possible changes or ideas he thought would make the day more memorable for all involved. In the end , my daughter was thrilled, the value was excellent, the service went above and beyond, and the professionalism of the whole staff from the set up crew to the sales staff exceeded expectations. Every call/question was answered promptly, and they were extremely clear about their expectations from us in regards to deposit, payment, and the timeline of when the many steps necessary for the wedding would be done. My next daughter is a few years off ( HOPEFULLY!!! LOL!!) from her wedding, and I will definitely be calling the Perfect Touch team to help navigate us through the storm that is a planning a wedding. -

The best thing is that you can go into the store almost as many times as you like (be reasonable) and ask to go over your table linen colors. They have a table and chairs to cover for you so that you can see what your reception tables could like. The basic satin covers is what I used (about $15 a table cloth and chair covers with a basic satin sash is about $8). You can go as fancy as you want because they will more than likely have it. I suggest to go to the store because the website doesn't show you everything that they have and the colors aren't exactly the right match-the store is better. They do deliver, cover the tables & chairs, & pick up but you have to go and talk to someone about the pricing. -

I used The Perfect Touch for my linens. We went to the design shop to pick out our linens. I used the basic satin linens with chair covers and a sash and they were beautiful at my reception site. The package with my site didn't include a cake table linen and I thought it was pricey. They were flexible and made a round table linen look great on a rectangle table. One major complaint was that I was not called to confirm details before the wedding with it two weeks away. -

The Perfect Touch kind of worried me a little because once I booked them I never heard from them again until a month before the wedding. When I showed up at the reception site to set up centerpieces the day before, the linens were all set up and ready to go but they were the wrong color. Luckily this shade of blue that was set up matched my bridesmaids dresses a little better than the shade I had originally picked but it still wasn't what I wanted because it was satin and not the sheer organza I wanted. It was too late for them to change it by then and it still looked beautiful. -

Great all in one place for linens and lighting in Houston!
Beautiful options for linens, candelabras, uplights, Gobo lights, table numbers, and chargers. We had a formal wedding and needed formal options for our tables. Mahek was helpful with showing us examples and offering ideas. We had few scheduling issues, but we worked them out quickly. Quality products and knowledgeable staff. They are a bit pricey, but worth it. The final presentation of everything in the ballroom was exquisite. -

Beautiful Decor!
We loved our wedding decorations! The flowers, candles, and linens were beautiful and elegant. However, initial communication and responsiveness with the decorator weren't great. She took more than a week to send me an updated quote. Lastly, the service was fairly expensive too. It's important to note, our wedding was at Dukessa and The Perfect Touch is the exclusive vendor for this venue, so we HAD to contract with them. -

To be honest, this was the one vendor I was not overly pleased with. We signed our contract for The Perfect Touch to do our wedding in April 2017 in June 2016. Within that time frame, we were assigned 3 different designers. There were several things that were overlooked from our first meeting and not completed as they were supposed to be. When my mom inquired about getting a small refund for flowers that were not done as discussed, we were told that there was nothing they could do about it. The decorations and flowers were beautiful, but I just expected more from a company that we spent almost $10,000 with. All in all, the results were wonderful and everything was beautiful, but there were some issues that we encountered that left us feeling a little rubbed the wrong way. -

We are still trying to get a call back from the owner/manger, Vic, about how disappointed we were with your service for our wedding last Saturday. You were 2 1/2 hours late having the chairs and linens delivered, not to mention the chairs were not in the great condition you promised. You also were nearly 2 hours late picking up, which you can imagine was a huge inconvenience as the bride had to wait at the church until everything was completed , which also resulted in us having to pay more money. We have been trying to get Vic to call for a week now. Your lack of communication is truly upsetting. Please have him call us asap. He has the number as I have called every day. Thank you. -

We used this vendor for linens and flowers. The linens turned out as planned but 2 large centerpieces turned out to have FAKE FLOWERS instead of the fresh that we were promised and paid for. We were never notified of this change and was only discovered dieting the event. -

Disappointing
I wish this was a more positive review of my experience with the perfect touch. The florist was a big part of our wedding and I was one of those brides that actually cared about the details regarding the florist. We spent a good amount of money here and I was disappointed with the quality of the service I received. Savannah worked with us the entire time. She was late to our initial meeting and her coworker covered for her. Terrible experience with him and Savannah scheduled another meeting with me. Things went extremely well and I was excited to move forward with our contract. Fast forward to 5 months til the wedding, we scheduled an appt to see a mock up of the florals that we would be receiving on our wedding day. The week leading up to this appt, Savannah called to cancel and gave us one date with one time to reschedule based on her availability. No apology on the phone or voicemail until she realized how unhappy I was. There were many times where miscommunication occurred. I had to follow up on emails when it wasn't my job. I wish there weren't so many hiccups along the way. The week of the wedding arrives and the floral designer called to tell me they won't have my peonies in time for my bridal bouquet. This is THREE days before our wedding. They promised me flowers they couldn't get in time. I called other florists and they told me peonies are seasonal and they never promise brides those flowers. Well, the perfect touch did promise me. There were details I changed leading up to the wedding. Savannah reassured me everything will be fine. The day of the wedding arrives and the groomsmen boutonnieres are the wrong color (I wanted ivory and they were blush). One of my bridesmaids bouquet was falling apart and roses broke before we even touched it. Despite peonies not being in my bouquet, it was still beautiful. However, it was not as big as I was promised and I was disappointed in the final product. My table centerpieces and floral arch were beautifully made. This review would have been a 2 star, but I am giving credit to the manager Jessie who tried to make things right and offer us complimentary chargers. He was very professional and efficient with emails / phone calls. I only wish this was a more pleasant experience since I will never get this day back and my bouquet was not what I originally wanted. -

Run away bride.
TLDR summary:
I do not recommend The Perfect Touch after my experience with them in planning my February 2020 wedding. They were unorganized, unprofessional, missed countless deadlines, and were defensive/hostile to work with. They promised items that did not exist in their inventory, made substitutions without discussion or approval from me, tried to charge me for their mistakes, in general made significant mistakes in documentation and delivery of my requests, had under-trained and non-responsive staff, and told me they'd see me in court if I went public with my experience through reviews and media. The list of things they did wrong is very long but, overall, The Perfect Touch was not reliable and made the experience extremely negative for me. No bride should have to endure the level of stress, chaos, and disrespect that I was faced with in working with them. There are many options of rental companies in Houston, I would not choose The Perfect Touch.
The detailed report:
Let me preface by saying this is my experience, and I cannot speak to that of others'. Per my contract, I have advised The Perfect Touch of my grievances prior to publishing this review.
I'm writing this review because I wish that I had paid better attention to the reviews on Google before hiring The Perfect Touch. I hope that in writing this I can prevent another bride from experiencing the chaos that I dealt with in working with them. Some of the reviews described similar experiences to my own, but I didn't see them until more recently as my dealings with them started to take a bad turn.
To start, their staff was not reliable and not experienced enough to be managing large wedding projects. When I first signed on with them, I was working with Savannah. However my original rep left and I was never informed, nor was my project formally handed off to someone new. After many calls and emails I was advised Savannah had left and, almost as an after thought, they assigned my wedding to Ali. Ali was extremely unorganized during my entire planning process and, towards the end of our engagement, became contentious and dismissive. A few weeks before my wedding the GM told me "this was a learning experience for Ali, we are training her". I suffered a lot during this training period and do not appreciate receiving subpar service so that staff can be trained at the expense of my time and wedding experience. In general, I found their staff to be inefficient and unprofessional. I was passed from person to person and they still couldn't get it right.
Regarding my actual experience, many things went wrong. The most glaring of which was the lack of organization and documentation in decisions made. I spent HOURS of my time explaining what I rented, following up to see changes, following up on missed deadlines and correcting their errors on invoices. After a while I started having to take pictures of every single item rented and asking to see them in person, because they constantly changed or forgot the items I was renting. Once it became clear that they were not documenting or honoring our verbal agreements/selections, I chose communicate by email so that I had most everything in writing. If you do choose to work with this company, I suggest you only communicate via email so that everything is in writing, and that you ask to see all rental items in advance and retain photos for your records.
Their inventory is nice, but they made many promises for items they did not actually own physically or have in stock. In the months leading up to my wedding they told me they ordered several of these items not in inventory, but the orders were never made. Then, weeks leading up to my wedding they were scrambling last minute to try to find them, and in the end had to offer alternate selections because they could not procure the items we agreed upon. I was promised arrival dates of items that were never even ordered. Had I not followed up so many times, I wouldn't have been able to have a similar centerpiece to what I was promised. They actually had to borrow it from another vendor. If you choose them, make sure you take photos of EVERY item promised and confirm it is in stock.
When you are planning a wedding and spend a lot of time selecting rentals (candelabras, tables, chairs, etc.), it is very frustrating to be told weeks before the wedding that the items never existed in inventory and you're going to have to make due with something entirely different. What is worse, however, is how defensive the staff was when I was not happy with the last minute changes. They were not responsive to emails and did not provide any status updates, and blamed me for incurred costs to resolve their mistakes. Vic, the owner, told me "I had to pay $200 to buy the table you wanted. I didn't charge you for it." The reality is I did not even get the table I wanted or had agreed to. I was promised a 4ft semi-circle, sweetheart table, but they only had a 6ft. rectangle available, so, they purchased a 4.5 rectangle to try to meet the need. Not only was this not what we agreed on, in the end I was still charged a $200 rental fee. So, really, I am the one that bought him a new table to have in inventory. You're welcome for the wobbly table, Vic.
I sent over a detailed seating chart for them to send to their graphic designer. It contained the table numbers and names of guests, some being Jr.'s and Sr.'s, which they immediately assumed to be duplicates. Some even shared last names but were unrelated. Imagine more than one Smith out there... obviously because they have the same last name, they MUST be related right? Ali told me that she was grouping the names by family (last name) to make things easier. I expressed to her, that multiple people shared a last name but were not related. I received an email requesting approval of the first round of proofing, but had yet to receive a proof. They had missed another deadline. Finally, when I received the proof, there were grammatical errors, spelling errors, there were table numbers missing, and they didn't even have my own fiance's name correct. It was a mess. Two days before my wedding, after going round and round with them regarding their mistakes, I was told that there would be an $85 additional charge for revisions. Vic ended up removing that charge because they failed to mention that revisions incurred additional charges. Had they told us that and maybe just used the spreadsheet that I sent them, we could have avoided this issue.
Jesse, their GM, said to me "We have a lot of clients. We can't make everyone happy." Who says that? As a bride, that is the last thing you want to hear from any vendor. I am not your guinea pig to train new employees with, I am not your inventory manager, I am not your proof reader. I am your paying customer and you should try to make me happy, especially when there have been so many short comings on your end.
In summary, out of my entire wedding planning experience, The Perfect Touch was by far the most stressful and uncomfortable part. False promises, shady invoicing and charges for their mistakes, rude staff, unanswered calls and emails, missed deadlines. I spent way too much time triple checking their work, chasing them for response, requiring revisions on work and invoices. Even my final invoice was incorrect after countless rounds of discussion and corrections. They had zero respect for mine and my fiance's time, my wedding planner's time and my florist's time. Needless to say, would never use them again as there are plenty of other options in town.
My advice to The Perfect Touch:
No, this is not standard practice nor should brides expect this kind of service. I did not have any issues with a single other vendor.
Yes, having to take extra measures to keep your end of a deal should be on you and not be a burden to your client.
Yes, that is what you do to make a situation right when you give incorrect information and make false promises.
No, you should not allow your employees (Ali) to sass your clients on the phone, or to talk over them. Defensiveness in the face of mistakes is not a solution.
No, you should not tell an already upset customer "I will see you in court" for threatening to write a review of their experience and share with other social/media outlets. That is my right as a consumer. You should also not claim that no one has had a similar experience, because your reviews say otherwise.
You should take care of the business that you already have and not allow your reps to place existing brides on the back burner so that you can go to the Bridal Extravaganza to find new business.
Lastly, you should not have Jessie talking to anyone, ever since his insensitivity to already fragile situations seems to outweigh his desire to remedy them. -

Stay away from this vendor. They lost our address and didn't show up for our ceremony, didn't finish the decoration for the reception and installed a swing/bench that fell during the reception and my bride fell down! They refunded our money for the items they didn't install and the swing that fell down, but doesn't give us our day back. Stay away, there are too many good vendors out there to waste your time with this risky vendor who might not show up, install faulty equipment, and not finish on time. Your day is too important, Vic is a business man and doesn't care. -

This business failed to meet agreed upon delivery and pick up times, the condition of the chairs was poor so if you do not have them covered, do not use them. The communication the day of the wedding was horrible and caused unneeded stress. After multiple attempts to come to some resolution on how unhappy we were with the service and quality of the chairs, we still cannot get the owner to call us or do anything to make this right, which demonstrates to me they do not truly care about their customers, they only care about the money. Do yourself a favor and choose another company. They are not worth the headache and I would not want any other bride to have to go through what I went through. -

While the linens looked beautiful, they are not the only game in town. I will never use the again and will not recommend them to anyone. We were told they needed 2 hours to set up the linens for 100 guests. We booked the time with our venue, paid an extra $100.00 for the extra rental time. The Perfect Touch went to Magnolia instead of Galveston and were two hours late. All other contractors had to wait on them – cake, flowers, caterer, everyone. We even paid The Perfect Touch an extra $100.00 to go to Galveston, an out of Houston fee. In addition, I had asked them not to take my one personal table cloth when they were cleaning. They took it. When I talked to Vik, he was not apologetic in any way. I was looking to get a refund for the extra time at the venue and my table cloth. He was rude and disrespectful. DO NOT USE THEM! There are many other linen vendors with the exact same items in the area.

I was originally getting my linens, centerpieces, and chargers, and napkin rings from The perfect touch. About a week before my wedding I get a call from them saying that 1/2 of my centerpieces might not come in on time for my wedding. So I decided to go with floral arrangements with another vendor. The whole experience was awful!! I was told they would take the centerpieces off my contract but was still expected to take everything else. Vic was very unprofessional. I ordered 20 tablecloths and the day of my wedding was given 18. They had to come back with the 2. -
