Bob is a fun guy!

Bob did a beautiful job at my wedding. He played music for the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. He meet with us before the wedding and asked EVERY POSSIBLE thing about the day, helping us with things unrelated to the music. He was funny, charismatic and very professional.

Wedding DJ

Alan was our DJ and he kept the party going all night, our dance floor was packed and everyone had a great time! We had a big playlist and he did awesome with it!

Bob was great! Everything was very organized and well planned out to make the day go as smooth and possible. He is willing to be as involved as you want which was really nice. He really knew how to get the party started and keep it going until the very end! He was even singing and dancing along which i loved! would definitely recommend his to anyone looking for a DJ.

Bob was great! All ages were on the dance floor, with the great mix of music! We were so surprised everyone was truely having a blast, not just the "young people". Pricing was great for the service you get !!! So so happy thank you so much!!!!!!

Bob from the party people was the DJ for our wedding and we absolutely loved him! He kept the party going and was a great listener when it came to what we wanted. Bob is definitely worth the extra money, you won't be disappointed.

Bob Tier at Parry People made our wedding a blast. He played great music for everyone at the wedding and made sure to get everyone on the dance floor. Definitely hire them for you wedding!

Bob was fantastic! He met with us to find out what we wanted/didn't want, gave us great suggestions, and was able to engage everyone at the reception and get people dancing! We highly recommend The Party People!

We had Bob Tier for our wedding and reception, and he was fantastic! He was engaging without being obnoxious. He met with us ahead of time and we worked out geeky movie themes and video game music to play during dinner and cocktail hours. He had everything we thought of except for one game, which he immediately bought, no questions asked. Bob also filled every request we made for music-specific songs, specific artists, etc. He also respected our request for no rap or hip hop, even when it was requested by other guests. Bob is a wonderfully personable guy who will work with you to make sure your music is absolutely perfect for your special day!

Worked with my crazy black out sing along song list and made the night amazing, kept on the time schedule and the pre-planning was a big help.

This was a great company to work with. Before our wedding we were able to go over everything from timing to songs. They were a huge help when it came to our wedding timeline. Our DJ was great! Even though we had a smaller wedding he still had everyone on the dance floor having fun! He was so kind to me and my husband and always checked in with us. I would recommend this company to anyone!

We loved working with The Party People for our wedding at Stoudt's Brewery -- our DJ was fantastic and played great music that kept everyone on the dance floor all night. We highly recommend The Party People!

We knew we would get the best DJ in the area when we hired the Party People. Bob Tier is the consummate professional and expects the same of all of his employees. His multiple-page advance planning document covers everything one could think of. Hence the music selection was perfect - as anticipated. The young man who actually served as our DJ was very attentive and responsive to our additional requests. And he maintained an extremely pleasant demeanor and amazing energy level throughout the afternoon and evening.
My advice to others? Don't even THINK of hiring any DJ other than Bob Tier's Party People!!!

I had requested the owner Bob to dj at my wedding and let me tell you he was amazing!! Everyone at my wedding was talking about how he was one of the best djs they had ever seen at a wedding. He was great and was wonderful with how much he interacted with my guest! Our dance floor was never empty!!! He listened to our choice in music and went above and beyond everything we asked for. I will not use any other dj but the party people for anything that requires a dj. Love this company and the owner! Very professional and great to work with.

We had Bob from the Party People DJ our wedding and he was AMAZING! He really got the crowd going! My husband and I watched our wedding video the other evening and saw how great he was. He knew exactly what I wanted/expected... and he wasn't comfortable letting anyone else DJ my wedding (even though he has many DJs under him) because I was extremely particular about many different things I wanted to happen. My sister used Party People for her wedding years ago, and it's still as great now as it was then!

My sister used Bob as her DJ for her wedding and I knew once I got engaged I wanted to have him DJ mine! He did the ceremony and reception for our wedding and everyone seemed to have a good time with the help of Bob and his music. He was so accomodating, dealing with me and all my requests (and the crazy music requests of family and friends at the wedding)! Good price, great DJ and lots of fun!!

I have been to many events where The Party People were the DJ so it was a no-brainer for me to use them for my own wedding. They were very easy to work with and they work with you to make your event exactly what you want down to the specific songs you do or don't want played. They were very flexible when one of my guests had a special surprise for me and they helped them pull it off.

From the beginning I knew I wanted Bob Tier to DJ our wedding. His personality and sense of humor can make anyone smile and have a good time! We didn't have a lot of dancers at our wedding, but I was dancing the whole night and that's what I wanted! All the key songs I wanted were played and he was awesome! Thank you for being part of our special day!

The party people provided great music at our wedding reception. I loved that we got to meet Bob Tier and after taking with him, he provided the person that matched the kind of DJ that we wanted. He was exactly right! They made sure that everything went off without a glitch and I didn't have to worry about anything. I would recommend the Party People to anyone I know. Bob from The Party People was an absolute blast from our first meeting up until the end of our wedding reception. He is very professional, but has a fantastic way of making everything fun and entertaining. Bob, in collaboration with the other vendors, kept our wedding highly organized and running on time. Our guests cannot stop raving about what a fantastic time they had at our wedding and how great the music and dancing were. We couldn't have asked for a better DJ or a more perfect wedding day! I can't even express the words of how WONDERFUL the party people are. I have to admit, I was very picky, I had a image of the day and I knew what I wanted and I told him. Every single detail was made to fit us and our personalities. This was the most important day of our lives and they made us feel like it was just as important to them. My biggest request was that my guests left feeling like it was the best reception they had even been to. After it was all over and even now 3 weeks later, I had several guests tell me that it was the best reception they had ever been to and I owe all the credit to the party people...100%!!!

Great service! They even help you to remember all the little things that you might forget, like the cake knife, etc. The DJ played great music all night long. We had a mixed crowd and he got it just right! I never left the dance floor!

We used Party People for our wedding. Everyone I asked recommended them and I can see why. Bob had everything so organized for our wedding. He went over every little detail that you would not normally think was importent to the DJ, but after reviewing you realize how importent it actually was. They listened to our requests and didn't play the songs we didn't want played. They played a great variety of music for our younger guests as well as our older ones. Everyone had a great time at our wedding. They interacted very well with all the guests and had everyone up dancing. Price wise, I thought they were very cheap for the great services they provide. I would recommend them to anyone and will use them again in the future.

Bob, the CEO at The Party People was phenomenal to work with! He provided us with a worksheet to help us plan our day and then we met with him about 2-3weeks before the wedding were we went over our worksheet and he gave us some great advice to help us fill in the blanks. Then the day of the wedding he did a fantastic job of keeping people on the dance floor ALL night long!! We loved our night and will remember it forever! Thank you Bob!!

The Party People were great at our reception. We originally booked the usual 4 hours of a reception. When it reached 9:30, the dance floor was full, so we asked the DJ to stay straight through until 11 (when the city ordinance forces the party to be over.) He was great, high-energy without being obnoxious. He played the perfect mix of songs according to our taste.

My only complaint is that they didn't really work with our wedding coordinator at all. They didn't want to take her word, everything had to be approved by us, which is great that they are concerned about their customers, but kind of frustrating as well, since we hired her so we wouldn't have to worry about anything on the day of the wedding.

Overall, they were great and I highly suggest them.

Everywhere I went the first DJ recommended was the Party People. I can see why, they were terrific. They are a little pricey compared to other DJ services, but worth the extra $$. Everyone commented on how they loved the DJ and the songs he played. He also did a great job interacting with the guest.

We received great service from the party people. The music was great and they made sure everyone had a good time. We were on a time crunch and they were able to meet our needs.

The music was good. Bob, the president, was great at coordinating. The DJ we had, Dave, was ok. Maybe we didn't have enough people to dance, maybe he wasn't as good at reading the crowd. We had fun, but I wanted MORE fun and more dancing.

This was a great company to have when speaking to the owner. All in all it was a good company our dj just did not listen to the selections we wanted at certain times. Would definitely use then agai though.

The Party People were AWESOME. The music selections played at my wedding were perfect and I couldn't have been happier with this company! I would recommend them to everyone that wants to have a good time :)

A DJ that does what he wants

Bob was slightly aggressive in his emails and suggestions. Sent over a song list and was told we shouldn't pigeonhole ourselves to a list. He also was making fun of my husband during the cake cutting saying he didn't know how to use a knife. Then continued to come over and show us how to cut a cake. I said no suggestions from guests and he was taking suggestions. I asked him to play a song he said he would and never did. It was not the DJ experience I was hoping for and did not enjoy his passive aggressive nature during this process. It was our wedding day and we know our guests. Keep that in mind that he forces alot of suggestions and also played our entry song at the wrong part. Good for a bingo hall not for a wedding
