Look no further. Kathy is the BEST and this venue is absolutely beautiful. Our wedding turned out even better than I ever imagined. I was so so so happy with how everything turned out & I promise you won’t be disappointed. The ceremony outside with their beautiful trees is amazing, the outside veranda for cocktail hour is soooo nice and the reception ballroom area is huge and beautiful as is you barely need any decorations. Kathy is soooo sweet and made everything go smooth. She went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect!!! -

Beautiful Venue and Amazing Staff
My husband and I were married at the Palmetto Club on 9/30/2018. After an exhausting search for venues, we found the Palmetto Club in FishHawk Ranch. What a blessing that was. The property is beautiful! From the Garden, the Patio, to the inside of the club itself, there are multitudes of picturesque areas. The special events coordinator of the Palmetto Club, Kathy Wilson, is amazing! She will do anything within her power to accommodate your visions or any last minute changes to your ceremony. The guests were raving about how beautiful the Palmetto Club is before, during, and after the wedding. We would recommend The Palmetto Club at FishHawk Ranch anyone looking to get married; the property and the staff were wonderful. Thank you Kathy and the Palmetto Club for helping to create such wonderful memories and for an amazing and beautiful wedding day. -

This was the perfect wedding venue. Even though our ceremony was moved inside due to rain, both the ceremony and reception were beautiful and the staff did a great job helping flip the space. This venue is breathtakingly beautiful and the food is amazing! -

ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL VENUE! Thank you for the lovely evening we all shared in July of 2017 for my son and daughter-in-law's wedding reception. The food was delicious and the staff was great. Many of the guests complimented us on the food, also. As parents of the groom, we were thrilled that we were able to provide our own alcohol for the event which was a cost savings, too. Thank you for everything! -

Amazing place. Amazing people. Very flexiable and willing to do anything to make your wedding dream come true! I booked this venue for its amazing gardens, I couldn't wait to have my ceremony there - however 2 days before my wedding I had to make the choice to move everything inside due to storms being predicted for the day. Needlsss to say, I was upset. They worked their tails off to make sure it would be just as beautiful inside as my vision for my garden wedding outside! Lucille and Kali were incredible! They moved all my gold chiavari chairs from my ceremony to my reception so I didn't have to order more (garden chairs were provided for outside wedding - but hated the idea of them inside). Not only did they move all 150 chairs, they also moved my last minute backdrop draping and uplighting from ceremony to reception! Love them and the Palmetto Club family. -

Loved it! Thank you to Lucile and Kalli for your help getting estimates, answering questions, and the coordination the day of our wedding. Beautiful place, the outside is just breathtaking!
My only concern was the temperature in the ballroom, was a little warm in there. Other than that was just perfect, food was delicious! -

Lucille and Kalli were so helpful leading up to our wedding day, and the day of. We had a lot of questions and they were always there to answer them. We were a little nervous about only having one choice for catering.....but the food ended up amazing, and all of our guests were happy. They allow you to bring your own alcohol for the bar, which turned out to be a big deciding factor for us...we tend to be a little picky about our craft beers so I am really happy I got to bring my own. I would definitely recommend The Palmetto Club to anyone looking for a wedding space. -

If you're looking for charm, affordability, and professionalism, then The Palmetto Club is the place for you! My husband and I were engaged for two years, and booked our venue right after getting engaged. Lucille was so responsive through the entire two year wedding planning process. Even more, it did not cost us an arm and a leg to get married there! Puff and Stuff does an amazing job catering as well. I cannot stress how accommodating everyone was. If you're considering a visit, don't pass this one up! -

This venue was amazing! Our wedding day turned out so beautiful and perfect. We loved how the venue had the gardens outside for our ceremony and the elegant ballroom inside for the reception. The gardens were beautiful this time of year and the ballroom was the perfect size for our 175 guest count. The outside of the building does not do the inside justice, it's beautiful. Everyone that worked at the venue was very nice and helpful throughout the entire process. Lucille was great. We loved it! -

Time is approaching our one year anniversary and while reflecting on our venue and food for the ceremony and reception, I give the Palmetto Club and Puff n' Stuff five stars! The food and venue were amazing! The staff was extremely helpful and for me (someone without a wedding planner) I couldn't have worked with a better crew! Thank you Tiffany and Lucille for all your hard work! I would recommend this venue and catering company to my friends and family! They provide great resources for all the extras you may need or want to fit your vision! The whole venue is yours on your special day. This is a must see venue! -

We loved having our wedding at the Palmetto Club! Inside and outside the venue is beautiful and was perfect for our spring wedding. Lucille and Tiffany went above and beyond making sure we had everything we needed for our special day. We had the ceremony out side which was gorgeous and the weather was perfect. Lunch was served inside, and drinks and live music were on the veranda. It was everything we wanted it to be! I would highly recommend The Palmetto Club to anyone! -

We were so pleased with this venue! Lucille and her staff made it so easy for us to make our reception perfect!! She would email back and forth immediately whenever we had questions. The Venue is absolutley beautiful! My husband and I recently got married there on March, 24 2012 and had the wedding of our dreams! The Garden area is just spectacular and the venue is in a perfect location. Lucielle was very friendly, personable and listened/answered all of my questions (as a bride would have). Thank you to Lucielle and everyone at The Palmetto Club for making our dreams come true! I would most definatley recommend this venue!

The Palmetto Club was fantastic to work with, and such a beautiful space to celebrate in. Our own decorations were minimal due to the classy look that already existed in the place and there wasn't one vendor I wanted to bring in for myself or idea that I was imagining that Palmetto Club shot down or did not allow. Everything went so smoothly. We even had a discounted price and all day to decorate since our reception was on a Friday night. My own sister is planning on holding her wedding reception there. I'd recommend it one thousand times over. -

This is a beautiful venue. Everything is in perfect condition and maintained well. The staff is professional and friendly. Everything went perfect and our wedding and reception was just as we had planned! Would reccomend this venue to anyone. All of my guest said is was the prettiest place that they had ever been to a wedding at. -

The Palmetto Club is a beautiful location. We had our ceremony in the English style garden and an inside reception. The building is very lovely, with classy decor and lavish gardens. The bathrooms are unbelievably beautiful and clean!! It may be out of the way for some, but the surroundings make it totally worth the drive. They are also flexible in that you can hire any caterer you choose, although they do have a preferred vendors list if that's what you want. It's definitely worth checking out. -

Perfect place for our wedding. Ive seen hundreds of venues and this was the best place for us! Brand new looking, wedding was flawless. They were very flexible and just amazing to work with. Both Lucille and Tracey were quick to respond to any questions and really helped us. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone getting married. -

The Palmetto Club is the very first reception hall welooked at when we started looking for a venue for our wedding, we check a few more options and at the end we ended where we begin. Its a beautiful property and I will recommend it to all the brides out there that are looking for a reception site where you can hire your own caterer and others vendors. You have it to yourself and its just like being in a hotel only all the guests are your guests, no potential wedding crashers. -

We loved having our wedding reception at the Palmetto Club on 4-18-15!! Lucille is fantastic to work with! She made us feel right at home and was always very timely in answering emails/phone calls. The ambiance of the Palmetto Club was exactly what we were looking for; we wanted our wedding to be very elegant, chic and timeless yet balanced with a contemporary, fun feel, and this was the perfect venue to achieve that! The formality of the ballroom balances well with the freshness of the veranda area and the openness of the foyer and hallway. They also have an extra large stall in the women's bathroom, which is great for fitting big wedding dresses (an extra plus!). It was also great to have the privacy for our event that you get at Palmetto Club since you rent out the whole building, something you can't quite achieve at a hotel. They exclusively use Puff n' Stuff catering, and their food is fantastic! Everything we tried was incredible, and the staff is very friendly! I would highly recommend the Palmetto Club for any event!! -

I had a great time at my wedding on 11/4/2011 and all my guests were extremely impressed with The Palmetto Club! It truly is the most gorgeous venue I have ever seen! We had our ceremony in the garden at sunset with the fountains and tree lights on (beautiful at night!) and our reception inside. Lucille and Emily were both very fast in responding to any questions or concerns I had, and during the event Marsha was very sweet as well. I cant wait to see all the photos we took!! :) -

The Palmetto Club at Fishhawk was the perfect choice for my new husband and me. After we were bumped out of our date by our prior venue almost 4 months away from the wedding date we were given the Palmetto Club as an option by our wedding planner. The facility is absolutely beautiful!!! (Words really can not describe)Very little decor is needed which helped me stay in budget. I spoke with Lucille primarily and she was absolutely wonderful. Whether it was through e-mail or phone call, I received a response almost instantaneously. The only con, if I had to say something, would be the price (but you pay for what you get) and the fact you have some limitations on what you can do as far as rice throwing and what types of chairs you can use outside. Nothing major! 5-star facility!!! -

Our experience with the Palmetto Club was amazing from start to finish. In the midst of our planning process, we had a switch in our Special Events Coordinator. This completely floored me because it seemed like one more thing we had to deal with at that time. However, this switch was a blessing in disguise because KATHY WILSON was absolutely amazing. She came in hitting the ground running and ready to do what she could to make our special day perfect. Her spirit was so warm and welcoming. After meeting with her for our familiarization meeting shortly before the wedding, I felt a peace come over me that let me know everything would be alright. We had our ceremony and reception on-site. Up until the day before, we were concerned about rain due to our vision of having a garden ceremony. Kathy worked with us and our wedding coordinator to come up with an alternate, outdoor ceremony setup that would work with rain or shine. We are still waiting on ceremony pictures from our photographer since we had an unplugged ceremony. However, I clearly remember how the patio looked when I walked up that isle from the rear of the courtyard and it was absolutely beautiful. People are still talking about how lovely the wedding was from the site to the cocktail hour, and of course the dinner. The ambiance outside as well as inside was breathtaking! We are so thankful we had Kathy in our corner to help us make this happen. I would without a doubt recommend the Palmetto Club for any event you need -- especially a wedding!

Beautiful venue! However, I wish now it was explained a little better to me before the wedding that I was able to be there before I booked the venue 3 hours before my wedding. I was under the impression I wouldn't be able to come in and get ready before my allotted time. Turns out I could be there but other people may just come in during that time. Still a beautiful place to get married!! -

The Palmetto Club was a great place to have my wedding. The garden was absolutely gorgeous and the ballroom was spacious and beautiful. Lucille was very responsive and answered any and all questions that I had, even if they were repetitive or ridiculous. Although I had paid for only a certain amount of time, I was able to come in early to start getting ready and my family friend wedding planner was able to start setting things up early as well. There was plenty of freedom for us to decorate how we wanted and that was a huge plus to having our wedding there. Friends and family have complimented the venue and how beautiful it was. The Palmetto Club was a completely stress free venue and I would recommend it to others. -

Where do I begin about this beautiful Venue, I love the Palmetto Club in Fishhawk because it wasn't far from the church I married in and when I went to this beautiful place I expected to spend a ton of money. I booked my wedding and reception on a Thursday and even though some people thought I was crazy, believe it or not I paid a third of the price for a weekday. I could't believe how beautiful and secluded this location is, all of my guest loved how beautiful it looked and just how big it was compared to other venues in the Tampa/Brandon area. I was so happy with the venue and the service of the receptionist but the only thing that was hard to work with was the time, they close at 3pm so if you work its difficult. Another reason I loved the venue was I signed prior to the catering change, if you want the catering tied into the venue, this location is amazing. -

Lucille was a dream to work with. She is super upbeat, friendly, and professional. She was accommodating in allowing the wedding planner to set up the day prior to the wedding since there was no other event taking place that day. She handled our wedding planner who could sometimes be difficult and unyielding with grace and professionalism. -

Was a beautiful sight for the ceremony outside and the reception inside. Only negative is that there is not enough lighting for the outside for the ceremony during the fall/winter season, and rehearsal times are not too flexible. -

The staff was absolutely amazing!! Everyone was so helpful. they food was great!! My guests loved the place! They loved the elegance of it.However I was told by some guests the bar ran out of certain things which was disappointing and during our entrance and first dances the lights were to bright they should have been dim. -

Palmetto is beautiful! It was the perfect place for our reception. They had alot of rules that limited some stuff. We were not allowed to throw rice, even the dissolvable kind. And our vendors were very rushed for setting up and tearing down because of the timerestrictions . -

Beautiful location if you would like a nice garden wedding or event. Staff were very professional. Ov eral my experience was good, but I felt that the price may have been kind of steep. I say this because if you do not use their perfered vendor you will do a lot of out of pocket expenses (i.e. outdoor chairs) and for the price you pay that should be included. Overall they are a good location to have your wedding -

Although The PC is a very beautiful venue the staff is not too helpful or flexible. Lucille was my contact person and when I emailed her she did always respond fast. However, everytime I tried meeting with her or going to the venue she was never there. I emailed her once to let her know if they would be open so that I can measure something for my sign in table. She stated they would be open but she would not be there, which was fine. Fast forward to the day that I get there and to my surprise they were not open. We were able to get in because fortunately when we arrived they were prepping for the primary election the next day. Had we shown up 15 minutes later it would have been a wasted drive. They let us bring stuff in 2 days before the wedding. They were having an event that day as well. My mom does not live in the same city and I was just showing her the property. I was showing her the ballroom at the last minute when Lucille very rudely said "Ok you have to leave now." We weren't bothering or getting in the way of anyone and I thought it was very unprofessional.

This venue is about 20 minutes from the nearest hotel, located in a very nice subdivision. It has such a lovely garden for an outdoor wedding and a beautiful ballroom as well. The whole building has a lot to offer and lots of space to work with--and it was the cheapest place we found! It was really easy to work with them up until the last couple of days before the wedding. They always answered emails pretty quickly, though with writing that was more suitable for a text message to a friend than a client. The catering must be done by Puff n Stuff if you book this venue, which was convenient for us as we are living overseas. The food was quite good and we definitely had enough to go around when we ordered one extra vegetarian dish. Though it was good value for what we paid, we did have a few problems. I had sent a page laying out where we needed extra tables in the hallways to set up, and they weren't prepared before we arrived to set up, which is fine, except they also weren't very obliging to help move the tables then. The manager also told us before that either her or her assistant would be there the day of the wedding, but she was there 5 minutes and nobody came in her place. The white chairs for outside were still dirty from the last event so we had to wipe them off. The caterers moved the cake and dropped and broke our cake topper but didn't tell anyone about it, and when we did our send-off 30 minutes before closing time for guests, they came back to find their tables/drinks already cleared. We paid extra to stay until 12 so we should have until 12 (cleanup was scheduled for 12-1 am). We had an hourly bar and a few kinds of beer and wine started running out way before closing time, which should not happen. Overall, we had an amazing day at Palmetto Club, but you should go into it knowing that you won't get the best service from a more reasonable venue/caterer like this one. -

The Palmetto Club is an absolutely stunning venue! It was the perfect size and perfect price for what we were looking for! We started our journey with one amazing consultant and then there seemed to be some shifts in the company and we had another consultant deal with us the rest of the way. This second lady did not really feel the need to connect with us and we had some issues with delayed communication. I believe the experience dealing with Palmetto Club would have been MUCH more enjoyable had we had a comfortable, personal consultant to deal with. It makes a world of a difference. However, the venue was spotless, gorgeous, and 100% ours for the day. -

Got a great price on the venue, but we unfortunately got what we paid for. There was miscommunication, turnover and unprofessionalism. It was like pulling teeth for the venue and catering to get coordinated, and I HATED that the management with The Palmetto Club was the same as Puff n' Stuff, because they only work with one caterer. Strangely, Puff n' Stuff was AMAZING and so worth the crazy expense. The Palmetto Club, although beautiful, was not worth the money because of the stress and coordinators we had to deal with. If we had to do it all over again, we might have picked Puff n' Stuff independently because of the quality of food, but we would have surely chosen another venue. -

My husband and I had our wedding at the Palmetto club Tuesday, December 6,2016. We absolutely fell in love with the venue. We just knew THIS was the place for US! Puff n Stuff catering... the food was amazing! The staff NOT so much. I was truly disappointed. We almost walked away from our dream venue because of poor customer service. I took the time and read all of the reviews about Lucille and how great she was, and how she was awesome and attentive.... I really don't understand why we never got that kind of treatment from her? I will admit that I ask a lot of questions, but I've never been married before. I was hoping for some kind of guidance from Lucille, but it seemed like everytime we talked I couldn't get the accommodations I needed because she was either at her son's soccer games or her husband was having back surgery. I'm all down for family bonding and supporting your family, but she is in a business where you have to sacrifice yourself somewhat for a brides day! This is the most important day of someone else's Life. I had to work with Lauren that worked out of the headquarters JUST so that I would feel somewhat comfortable. I was the bride, the coordinator, and the wedding planner all in one. All I wanted for them is "how can I help you?!" Of course during the wedding Lauren was there (only for a short period of time) to make sure things ran smoothly. I explain to Lauren over and over again how upset I was with the treatment from Lucille. We had to have more than one encounter because she ran that building the Palmetto club. I feel as if Lauren should have stayed the whole time! I could go on and on, but I don't have enough space. At least our pictures will come out nice! It's a beautiful building! -

I took months and months planning for my special day. Due to a lack of communication I was not told by the staff members of this venue, to request certain services. Because of the lack of communication and rude staff, I had what would have been the best day of my life turn into drama amoung my family and guests. I do not and would not recommend this venue to anyone at anytime. -
