The Islander was the perfect place for our wedding!

The Palm room and private beach area were perfect for our destination wedding.

Wedding reception

I absolutely loved this vendor and my hostess La Toyia Evans was the best!!!!! She made us feel like we were family she was very helpful with everything that we needed and also helpful with giving us information for other vendors that we would need to complete our perfect wedding ideas. This resort is the best place to stay at and also have a wedding and reception at. I wish I can do it all over again.

I would highly recommend the Islander, Megan was great! She was very responsive, very helpful, sweet and courteous. Any questions or concerns I had regarding my event at the Islander she helped to meet my needs. I even asked her questions regarding the aftermath of hurricane Micheal and she went out of her way to asure me that everyone and everything was ok.

Very spacious and the Islander staff were awesome. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience for our daughters wedding.

The wedding reception was perfect in spite of the fact that Hurricane Nate was an uninvited guest. We had a great view of the swaying palm trees and crashing waves. It was a stress free event.

This venue has a great price and includes the tables, chairs, and basic linens for the reception. Such a deal for an updated, modern venue with beautiful views! And it gets even cheaper if you book rooms there, which are a very convenient location for wedding guests.

Everything was amazing. The staff was so accommodating for our out of town guests. I would highly recommend using the Islander Palm room and their beautiful beach for your wedding. My daughters wedding and reception there could have not been more perfect!!

Look at the total package The Islander offers: Accommodations for out-of-town guests, plenty of parking for local guests, a beautifully renovated 1700+ square foot room for receptions & family gatherings that comes with a full open-concept kitchen, tables, chairs, white table clothes & white chair covers! The front desk is staffed 24/7 if you need anything. The Islander Resort has an amazing beach area for ceremonies (no fee), and all of the other amenities that cater to you and your guests (like two pools, two hot tubs, tennis courts, shuffle board and grassy areas). The rate for using the Palm Room varies depending on how many condos are rented for the event, but it's between $550 and $750. That is an unbelievable value for everything that comes with it. I looked at a lot of venues before choosing The Islander and it beat them all hands down. I strongly urge anyone looking for a wedding venue to consider checking out what The Islander has to offer. You will not be disappointed!
