Excellent and Beautiful Venue!
The Orange County Regional History Center was the perfect venue for our ceremony and reception! Megan and Taylor helped us with all of the planning details. They were great in recommending vendors for us as well (Plus Catering and Elegant Entertainment were wonderful). Megan was great at meeting with us multiple times to go over table layout, table choices, chair choices, and our monogram. This venue is beautiful and close to many hotels and city activities as well. I wish we could host events here every weekend! We highly recommend The Orange County Regional History Center! -

Perfect Venue at a Reasonable Price
We absolutely loved having our wedding at the history center. We researched a lot of venues, but for the price, location, and space, this was the best deal by far. My husband and I loved being able to choose all of our own vendors. We especially loved being able to supply the alcohol ourselves. This seriously saved us so much money! Not a lot of venues allow this so this was a big plus.
Taylor was also seriously wonderful during the entire process. She was quick to respond to calls and emails and made sure our day went off without a hitch.
Our guests loved the venue and especially loved being able to walk around the exhibits during cocktail hour. It was so conveniently located to hotels, restaurants, and bars too and our guests appreciated that. The courtroom made for some really neat photos too! I would definitely recommend considering getting married at the history center! -

I absolutely loved having my reception at the History Center! The venue was unique and exactly what my fiance and I were looking for. Megan and her team were extremely helpful and always responded to my questions very quickly. Megan was at the venue during my reception and made sure that everything ran smoothly with all of my vendors. -

This crew was one of the most valuable assets of our wedding. Megan and Taylor were SO helpful in helping us with the dates, decorations, and order of our reception. It's a very unique space and a place my husband and I can revisit and enjoy the memory of our special day! 10/10 would recommend.-

We had an amazing experience working with Taylor and Megan in the planning of our ceremony in the Courtroom, and our reception in the Chapin Gallery. These two ladies constantly went above and beyond making sure that we could make everything exactly what we were picturing, including being incredibly flexible with our highly involved DIY decor. I don't think a bride has ever been less stressed (planning a wedding in 6 months) than I was because of these two! -

The venue is absolutely beautiful. There is multiple ceremony and cocktail hour options to make your event unique. And the reception space is extremely versatile to fit any style. The venue alone is so worth the cost, but I'd like to stress the event team you get when you book with the history center. The staff is so amazing, helpful, experienced, and dedicated... they make the value of booking with this venue priceless! -

We held our wedding at the Orange County Regional History Center and were so happy with our site selection. We originally found this venue because we were searching for locations that would allow us to bring our own alcohol. I was so happy we discovered the History Center as an option. I wanted a venue that was unique, that didn’t require a tremendous amount of decoration, and that had a beautiful indoor ceremony space. It was also the perfect location for us because our wedding was multi-phased. We had two opening receptions (hosted separately by bride & groom), followed by the ceremony, followed by private bride & groom time, followed by the reception, and all five “events” were held in five different perfect spaces within the building. We ended up using four different floors, not including the ground floor atrium where guests entered and departed. They really enjoyed going from spot to spot and all the different environments. The 1920s court room was gorgeous for the ceremony, and the next-door Jury Room was the perfect “gentleman’s room” for the groom’s reception. We worked with Taylor all the way through the process, and she was incredibly professional, kind, responsive and knowledgeable. She also had one of her event people, Dawn, who was there for our rehearsal and our entire wedding day, from set-up to clean-up, who was also sharp and friendly. We had 134 guests at our wedding, which I think was just the right size for the space.

From day one Taylor was awesome! She helped with daily/weekly questions to assistance with other vendors. The day of our wedding was perfect!!! Dawn was our day of coordinator and she took care of everything. The reception was perfect --- everything I envisioned as I was planning it. I would recommend The Orange County History Center to family & friends without a doubt!!!! Thank you again for your help in making our wedding day the best day of our lives. -

Words cannot express how grateful Justin and me were for Taylor and Dawn at the OCRHC! Taylor and Dawn were an absolute dream to work with and made my planning process so incredibly easy. From the very beginning, Taylor was so prompt and informative with her replies. It didn't matter how many times I emailed her with my random questions, she was so patient with me. I used the courtroom for my ceremony space and it was absolutely everything I envisioned. The courtroom itself is so beautiful on its own, so it didn't require many decorations. Since the courtroom is preserved and doesn't allow real candles, the venue provided battery operated candles for us! We used the exhibit hall as our reception space. When we brought in all decorations, Taylor was fabulous in setting everything up - it was absolutely perfect for the day of our wedding. And Dawn so wonderful as my coordinator and was with me every step of the way on wedding day. Our guests expressed how unique the venue was and how much fun it was exploring the exhibits was during cocktail hour.
I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this venue to anyone who is considering the OCRHC! -

Taylor, Dawn and Nicole at the History Center provided the absolute best experience up-to and including our wedding. They were able to help us make decisions about their venue that not only were wonderful but really enabled us to put our own touch into our event.
They also worked with all of our vendors to ensure they knew when they were supposed to arrive and where to set up. We didn't need to coordinate any of that! (What a relief!!)
Our guests loved the uniqueness the venue provided by having the ceremony in Courtroom B to the cocktail hour in the lobby to the Exhibit hall decorated for our reception. We heard only the best compliments from our guests and were so pleased they enjoyed themselves.
Tiffany and I could not recommend any place better to get married in Orlando, FL! -

Taylor was fantastic throughout the planning process. She was very nice, patient and responded very very quickly (within hours) 100% of the time. She was so sweet and very easy to work with. I even lived 2 hours away and planned my entire wedding (even the final walkthrough) away from the site. Taylor also coordinated with the vendors to make sure everyone knew what time and where they needed to be.
My day of planner was Dawn, she was also awesome. She was so friendly and fun. She was great at getting everyone where they needed to be on time.
Everyone was so professional and great throughout the entire process. I highly recommend this venue. Thank you all SO much. -

It was a pleasure working with Taylor and her staff. Everything ran smoothly and according to plan. Considering how much venues charge in the Orlando area, this venue was very reasonable. The price included special lighting, tables, chairs, and a day of the wedding coordinator. The ceremony was in the courtroom, cocktail was in a newly renovated room, and the reception in the traveling exhibit room. I highly recommend this venue!

The Orange County Regional History Center was the venue for our daughter's ceremony and reception. Taylor Fortney Bianco expertly assisted us through the wedding planning process. She was always very quick to respond to any questions or requests we had. At one point we were concerned that we had not secured a "day-of" coordinator. That proved to be completely unnecessary. Another OCHS employee, Dawn Kelly, expertly filled that role as part of the History Center's service. The only detail that concerned us is that we were under the impression that the wedding gifts would be secured in a locked office during the reception, which did not turn out to be the case. Other than that, everything was wonderful. We highly recommend the Orange County Regional History Center for weddings and receptions! -

We absolutely loved working with Taylor from beginning to end! She was extremely responsive and always available for the many last minute questions that I had! We knew the History Center was special from our first meeting there. As soon as we left, we had decided this was the place we wanted to get married. We loved that it is located in the heart of downtown Orlando and walk able to our hotel and rehearsal dinner location. The ceremony location in the original Orange County courtroom is special. The warmth and richness of the wood will make for a perfect backdrop for our pictures. We had so many compliments on how unique this venue is and we cannot wait to get our pictures back! The value was incredible as the cost included custom lighting, table rentals, and the ability to customize the floorplan to suit our needs. We loved this location and would highly recommend them! -

There are not enough words for me to express how happy I am with this venue and their staff. From the first day I met with Taylor, to my wedding two weeks ago, she and her staff were nothing short of amazing! Taylor is so responsive and helpful when it came to addressing my list of questions as I went through my planning process...to my quick random questions that popped up closer to the day of my wedding. I used the courtroom as my ceremony site, and it was absolutely beautiful and totally unique! I used the traveling exhibit hall for my reception, and with all the inclusions that came with it, this venue is truly a steal. The hall was transformed into the most beautiful room and between Taylor, her staff, and my coordinator my vision came to life. I HIGHLY recommend this amazing site and the team. My husband and I could not be more happy with everything! -

I cannot even begin to express how happy I was with my choice to have my wedding ceremony at the history center. From the moment I got a response back from taylor, I knew it was the right pick for our day. She was AMAZING in responding to and accommodating every request I had. I was making changes until the last minute and she was so wonderful and helpful, all while getting ready for her OWN wedding!! She even served as a friend when I needed to vent about other vendors lol. The day of the ceremony, she was amazing at getting everything situated and set up for us. The venue looked so beautiful just in its own organic form. We didn't over decorate but we did use the flame less candles they provide and it looked beautiful. We didnt feel rushed or pushed Into anything .. It was truly a beautiful experience. -

We wanted to say how wonderful Taylor & Ashley were from the very beginning. They are very professional and they made sure that we had to worry about anything on our big day.
I still remember when my partner and I were looking at venues and trying to decide were to get married. I was so frustrated because nothing felt right. We met Taylor and we hit it of. Everything was perfect from pricing to decorating and the superb assistance from start to finish. I thank you Taylor and Ashley for your patience and outstanding understanding. Our friends and family loved the ceremony and the way it was handled. Once again we thank you for everything. ?

Event: Graduation party on 12.12.14
I held my upscale, over the top graduation party at OCRHC. When I met with Taylor to discuss my vision for the night, she immediately understood what it was I was going after. Taylor is sweet, prompt, and very professional. Often times I would be able to get emails responded to within a few hours. The space used was the lobby for cocktail hour and the traveling exhibit room for the party. Ashley H. handled the day of logistics for my event.
I would use OCRHC again for another event in a heartbeat. The staff was so wonderful and they were fully engaged with me regarding making sure the details was just right. -

I cannot say enough nice things about the Orange County Regional History Center! Our coordinator Taylor was absolutely fantastic. From our first email exchange, she was so easy to work with, happily answering all of my questions (even the silly ones). Even though ours was very small, she made me feel like she really cared about our event. The venue spaces are wonderful – the courtroom photographs beautifully and the Chapin room was perfect for our reception: larger enough for the dancing and socializing we wanted but small enough to feel intimate (and they do some beautiful things in the larger spaces as well). They offer a really unique opportunity with the exhibit halls – we had a lot of fun taking post-ceremony photos in the exhibits. You can opt to allow your guests to visit those as well. (I considered taking a 1/2 star away for flexibility here because there are certain things that are not allowed, like lit candles, but only in the ceremony space & they provide reasonable workarounds. This didn't impact us at all.) Throughout our entire experience with the History Center, we felt so taken care of. We had plenty of help with our event coordinators and we could not have been happier with everything they did to create our wedding, from helping us set out the décor to finding the perfect shade of up-lighting to making last minute updates to the floor plan, the entire staff was so helpful and accommodating. We got tons of compliments from our guests about what a surprise the venue was and how much they enjoyed the space. The other great thing about the venue is that you can create a really cool dynamic flow to the event because the courtroom is on one floor, and you have options to do the cocktail hour downstairs or with the exhibits, then they’re likely moving to a different floor for the reception….it keeps everyone moving and having fun. I would urge anyone planning any kind of event to strongly consider the History Center. They are wonderful. -

I cannot possibly say enough about how great the history center is. first, it is extremely affordable for what you get, which is amazing. we had both the ceremony and the reception there. the staff at the history center is unbelievable. they were extremely helpful and went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly and our wedding was a success. our wedding went perfectly and it is all because of them. the court room is a beautiful place for the ceremony, and they make it look even nicer. we had a wedding canopy brought in and when the groom and groomsmen set it up hours before the wedding it honestly looked terrible, but by the time the ceremony started the history center staff had made it look beautiful. not only that but while the wedding reception was going on the staff at the history center was able to disassemble everything and put it in the groom's fathers truck so that the groom had nothing to worry about at the end of the night. they did that without us even having to ask, they just wanted to do everything possible to make sure we were enjoying our wedding. they were extremely accommodating anytime any of our family wanted to tour the venue before hand. they were extremely helpful at all times. the ceremony was also wonderful. the staff at the history center made sure that everything with the caterer and the dj went perfectly, and the room looked beautiful with all the lights set up. they really know how to make that space look great. all of our guests had a great time. we are so happy that we chose to have our wedding at the history center, no place would have possibly been as good, it was the absolute perfect choice for us. i cannot possibly thank everyone at the history center enough for what they did for us. there is no other place i would have wanted my wedding. -

If you are interested in History, we STRONGLY recommend this venue. From our first walk-through of the venue, my husband and I chose to not look anywhere else. We never had second thoughts or anything. We even chose to have our engagement pictures taken at this venue as well. Taylor and Rachel were amazing. Rachel was there from the time I arrived on wedding day to the time we left on wedding day. The courtroom can hold up to 150 guests. We had about 115 show up, and it was the perfect amount. Words can't express how much we love this venue. I strongly recommend this to any couple planning their wedding. The reception place is also great for anniversary parties and sweet 16 parties. -

I loved everything about the OCRHC. We chose this as our reception site because it was large enough for all of our guests, and offered a unique alternative to hotel ballrooms. From the planning to the cocktail hour to the dancing, it was all picture perfect. I highly recommend the OCRHC to anyone looking for a ballroom alternative! -

Love, love, love!! Coudln't have picked a better or more unique venue for our wedding! I have to admit we were SOLD on the History Center from day one. As we started planning we did have some reservations about the venue, but it is absolutely PERFECT for a wedding! And the decor our florist arranged really made our dreams come true. If we had to di it again--we would absolutely pick the Orange County Regional History Center!! And I can't say ENOUGH about Georgianna and her team! They were helpful in making sure the day was everything we imagined. During the planning they were always helpful in suggesting items that would make the day complete. Thank you thank you!!! -

You don't need to look at any other venue! Georgianna was the best to work with. She made sure that we had everything we needed. First of all, the History Center offers indoor and outdoor options for both the ceremony and reception. We really wanted an outdoor ceremony, but being in Florida we understood that the weather might not allow for that. Sure enough, it was miserably hot and muggy the day of the wedding. Brittany from the History Center called about 4 hours before the ceremony and offered to move it inside for us. It was a fantastic option, and really saved our reception. The indoor reception space is a blank slate and easily transformed.
Secondly, Brittany from the History was absolutely amazing! Even on the wedding day, she was walking around with a purpose making sure everything went perfectly. We were taking wedding photos around the property and she was walking around asking people to temporarily move from the area so the pictures turned out great. She also made sure I always had water and that we were always happy. We couldn't have been happier with the History Center! -

Brittany was amazing. She was so easy to work with. I only used the Center for my ceremony because they had an exhibit that could not be moved on my wedding date. I did not need a wedding planner because Brittany organized everything and made sure that the ceremony went off without a hitch. The courtroom looked beautiful, and was exactly the intimate setting I wanted. Even though the room was packed, I did not feel claustrophobic in the least. I am glad the Center also accommodated my light preferences, and allowed me to light a unity candle in the room. It was very special to get married by the Judge in Courtroom B. -

I cannot say enough about our wonderful experience with the Orange County Regional History Center. We initially saw the venue at the 2011 I Do Downtown Bridal Crawl and we fell in love! The vintage feel and the downtown location was perfect. We had our ceremony in the Courtroom and our reception in the Traveling Exhibit Hall. Everything was absolutely wonderful. Georgianna Jackson went above and beyond and was my life saver! We used her as a day-of coordinator. Throughout the entire planning process, she was so patient and informative. Georgianna is truly great at her job. I enjoyed working with her so much and she eased my mind so much as our date approached. Our wedding day went flawlessly because of her and her team! I cannot say enough good things. Our day would not have been half of what it was without such a dedicated staff. If you want a fun and unique downtown venue, this is the place!!!! -

I attended a wedding at the History Center about 6 years ago, and when I got engaged and ws looking at venues, it was on my short-list of preferred locations. When I went there and saw the outdoor Heritage Square space again, I knew it was perfect. I began working with Brittany Andrews, who was wonderful to work with. She was my initial contact, worked with me throughout the 15 months of my engagement/planning period, and was my "day of" wedding coordinator as well. Brittany was always prompt in responding to my calls and emails, went above and beyond what I expected and was willing to put together all the "extra" DIY projects for the wedding that I made. I literally handed off an SUV trunk full of items that had to be arranged, placed, and assembled at the reception venue - and it was put together by Brittany and her team exactly as I wanted. I had a wonderful experience there, my wedding venue was beautiful and I owe so much of that to the staff I worked with!! -

We LOVED the History Center!! Our guests were equally impressed by the venue. Everyone thought it was unique, especially the ones from out of town. They got to take a look around the museum to see some of the histories of Orlando and the kids were super excited about the stuffed animals~lol. Brittany from the History Center was so wonderful to work with. She really made things happen on the day of the wedding. Our wedding ceremony was suppose to be outdoors but due to bad weather conditions, we had to move indoors and Brittany worked her magic and got us a beautiful room to get married in~ Very accommodating and pleasant to work with! -

They were outstanding!!! We were looking for something different from the standard ballroom and church and they fit the bill, the courtroom was beautiful and the reception area was perfect. The reception area needed very little decoration due the historical ambiance :) We could not have asked for anything better and the planner was truly a GOD send!!! Not only was the everything perfect but the COST WAS UNDER BUDGET!!!! We got everything for less then what we thought it would cost. WOULD ABSOLUTELY USE AGAIN!!!!!! -

Wow! I am so lucky to have found out about The Orange County Regional History Center. I had my wedding there 3/19/2011. It was all that I dreamed it would be. I was originally interested in having the reception there but changed my mind once I saw Courtroom B. I decided to have the Ceremony there and the reception nearby at 310 Lakeside. It was everything I wanted, historic and beautiful. Georgianna was such a pleasure to work with and helped us so much when it came to planning. The interns were so helpful and sweet on the wedding day as well. Thank you all so much!!! -

This History Center was THE.MOST.PERFECT venue for our wedding. I CANNOT express how much we enjoyed the venue, as well as the staff. We had our ceremony in the courtroom, our cocktail hour in the atrium, and our reception in the Traveling Exhibit Hall. I love that everything was housed in the same building. There were several rooms to accommodate both the groom and his men as well as the Bride and her maids before the ceremony. There were 2 large elevators as well as a very large double staircase that allowed our guests to move easily between the various floors. There were also men and woman's bathrooms on every floor. We had FREE REIGN of the entire museum when it came to taking our bridal portraits. We have some of the most interesting and unique wedding photos I have ever seen. (please see my photographer review) One minute we're paying tribute to the USMC, another we're driving a delivery truck, at Disney World, picking oranges, in the jungle, in a log cabin,... the list goes on! Not to mention the breathtaking backdrop of the courtroom in our group photos. All of the chairs and tables were included with the site fee... and the chairs are not your standard banquet chairs - they do have those as well, but they also have black, padded folding chairs which really looked great at our reception. UPLIGHTING is included - which, let's face it, is completely necessary by modern standards and typically very expensive. The hall has pin lighting as well, so the walls can be flooded with colored light, and all the tables are spotted with white light. It is unbelievable how much BANG comes with The History Center. Also, Georgianna - the representative who handled our event, was absolutely heaven-sent. She doubled as our coordinator. She manged the entire rehearsal as well as the actual ceremony. She flawlessly rallied all of our vendors, serving as our day-of contact. And she directed the entire event - from seating everyone at the ceremony, to moving everyone to cocktail hour - she cued the musicians, she stored our gifts in safe keeping - she asked me if I needed a drink during our reception - she passed out favors at the end of the night - she coordinated not one, but TWO tunnels after the reception - She made sure everyone was happy and safe. She made sure all of our things - from every last vase and candle holder - to all of our leftover alcohol and gifts - were packed, loaded and sent home with a friend THE NIGHT of our wedding. She was absolutely perfect - As were Courtney and Brittany who also worked with us. Courtney spent hours applying the most intricate vinyl decals to the walls so my bridesmaids and I could spend the day relaxing instead of setting up. So thoughtful! I have not one complaint. Not. One. I'm searching my memories for ANYTHING remotely negative to say and I simply can't think of a single thing. The History Center is full of character, sophistication, and surprise. It is the ideal venue for a couple who wants to have a truly memorable and *historic* wedding. Your guests will love it, and you will too. -

The History Center was absolutely the best place for our wedding. We got married in the park out front. Sure we had a few onlookers, but being outside in the middle of downtown Orlando was soo exciting. They empty the fountain and create the perfect little amphitheater for your event. Brittany was our coordinator and she was incredible! I was a little unorganized and she really helped us pull it all together. I'll be forever grateful.
Thanks Brittany!

The History Center was a prime location for our fun-loving wedding guests. The post-ceremony events began with a cocktail hour in the eccentric atrium and moved upstairs for the reception. The staff, Brittany in particular, were very professional and made our wedding day seamless. I couldn't ask for a better reception venue in the downtown area.
Brittany - thank you for making our wedding day perfect!

The History Center was the perfect place for our wedding. We liked that the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception all took place in the same building. The location was closed just for our event and made us feel very special. Georgianna and her staff were amazing and provided some wedding planner services as well. We loved the unique location (ceremony in the courtroom with family in the jury box) and that it just felt different than many other weddings one might attend. Our guests still talk about what a great place it was that we got married. Definitely would recommend to anyone looking for something different than a ballroom or a country club. -

I LOVED The History Center. Everyone was so wonderful and easy to work with. Everyone I dealt with was attentive and helpful. I did not worry once through out the day! My mother & mother-in-law checked on preparations for the reception - and they followed all of our directions to a "T"! I didn't even have to have a coordinator! Absolutely beautiful if you don't want to get married in a church or hotel. It's really something different and unique. People are still talking about our wedding! -

There were a few transitions in staff during our planning phase, and during the transition it was sometimes difficult to know who we were to speak to next. Once Taylor got involved I felt comfortable that everything would turn out just fine and it did! Taylor was willing to lend a helping hand in whatever needed to be done. The venue was beautiful and unique. All the guest were talking about it and loved the polar bears for a "selfie". Definitely a good choice for a wedding venue. -

Brittany and the History Center were fabulous to work with for our December wedding! We had the added benefit of the lovely holiday decorations and couldn't have been happier with how everything turned out! Brittany was extremely helpful from start to finish in helping us prepare for our big day. She always responded quickly to any questions we had and went above and beyond to get us deals with other vendors for things we wanted. We did not have our own wedding planner, which I was initially concerned about. However, it was really unnecessary, because Brittany took care of everything we needed involving our venue including coordinating with our flower vendor, caterer, and DJ! I would highly recommend the History Center for your wedding! -

I could not have been happier with my choice for wedding venue at the orange county history center. Perfect location, and extremely unique. Also the level of service provided by Taylor and Megan was phenomenal. All my emails were instantly answered, and Taylor often offered helpful suggestions. Megan was my day of coordinator and my friends and family were extremely impressed with her. She even expertly bustled my dress! Spring for the gobo design, it really makes the room pop. -

The history center was the 2nd location I looked at and I fell in love at first walk through. We booked a year and half in advance, so there was some unexpected changes during that time. First our contact person switched and then the wedding procedures changed for the venue. Having said that, the new team, was great in making sure we got everything we were initially promised.
Taylor replied to all my questions via email quickly. Our walk throughs were well documented. Advice was given in relation to what our vision was for the wedding. I could not find an uplight color that matched my wedding colors correctly. Taylor and the team researched it to find the correct code and it was beautiful. Never once did i sense the team was overwhelmed. The day of, everyone took care of my bridal party and family. The venue was set up in accordance to the theme.
The only thing that was upsetting is that I had confirmed that a member of the team would hand out the parking passes that we had for our guest but instead was given to the DJ and people got missed. My husband had to take care of that and make sure everyone got one. -

By far, the History Center provided exceptional service without sacrificing professionalism. When my husband and I signed the contract with the History Center we knew we were getting the best value for the dollars we wanted to spend for a venue. Our wedding was indoors, so we received the dance floor and up lighting for the reception. The ceremony room was the old courtroom and we did not want to do anything else to the room because we believed it already had "character". We loved the fact that our guests did not have leave the venue at all; we had the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception all in one place. Taylor Fortney, the coordinator for the venue, was WONDERFUL. She was our "semi" day of coordinator, and she did a marvelous job. Although I had a wedding planner, Taylor stepped in when needed and she did a FANTASTIC job, especially since she was by herself. If you truly want an exceptional venue with character and courteous professional staff, then don't look anywhere else. -

My husband and I are so happy we went with the History Center for our cermeony and reception space. The space is very unique and the middle of all the awesomness that is Downtown Orlando. We loved having the option to use our own catering and bartending company, it really helped us save on wedding costs, and the venue provided us with free uplighting that really changed the mood of the reception space. We loved how close all the hotels and bars were to venue space and we loved that we could do our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception space all in one location.
Our wedding coordinator for the venue switched a few months before our wedding, when she left the company. Responsivness to emails became slow once we started working with the new staff and at times it seemed like there were too many hands in the pot and no one knew who was responsible for what (the fact that our wedding was right after the Christmas and New Years holidays could have played a factor in this).
Overall, it was a wonderful experience and we were beyond happy with how our wedding turned out. -

My daughter was married just this past weekend at your venue. What a beautiful location to have a wedding!
The only think that upset me the most, was when I thought that the wedding coordinator and a gentleman from the Historical Center (in the middle of the reception) was congratulating me on the wedding. Just to find out that they were just looking to get paid. They informed me that there was a balance due on the venue and needed to have it taken care of before the night was over.
I'm sorry, but this should have been taken care of the day before the wedding. To me that was SO unprofessional it was not funny. And why come to me I did not sign the contract with them.
So instead of enjoying myself for the rest of the night, all I could think about was them coming up to me and asking for money.
